i love this stuff! but it took some trial and error. I apply a small amount on fingertips, run it through my hair and then comb it through to distribute evenly. if too much product is used, you’re hair will feel SO tacky/sticky/gross.

I think we tend to stack a bunch of products to our hair routine. That usually leaves the heavy feeling and really doesn’t do much for us. This one is a nice sub for Mistress when you want to switch it up.

I follow this cream after the Crybaby and my hairstyle would look fresh and healthy throughout the day.

I loved how Mistress gave thickness and volume to my fine, naturally straight hair but the fragrance was very strong and unpleasant. I’ve been using the Thirsty Girl spray (3 cans so far) and have been pleased but still missed the thickness of the Mistress cream.

This is a good compromise between the two. The fragrance is still very perfume like though. I wish it matched the new hydrating hair mask – THAT is a fantastic fragrance. This and Mistress’ fragrance are a little on the 1940s heavy side but the Beach Club doesn’t linger quite as long after it dries.

It still overwhelms the wonderful Bougie shampoo and Offline hair mask fragrances though which is a huge bummer.

I want to start off by saying this product is not for me, my hairstyle, or hair texture. I have a short pixie cut, bleached color, and fine wavy hair. I tried this product several ways and for a few days.

I just could not make this work for me. I did try using this product and let my hair air dry, but had not great results. My hair was very fuzzy, it worked against my waves, and I felt like I needed to wash my hair and start over.

I used this product on wet hair and styled my hair with a round brush like I usually do and also had odd results. It made my hair feel thick and unmanageable. The more i kept trying to smooth out my hair with the round brush, the tougher it became.

It was almost difficult to run my fingers through after this method. I couldn’t wait to wash it out. I tried using just a small amount with my normal products and just couldn’t get the ratios correct.

It was way too much work to try to get my desired results. this is just not fot me. The scent reminds me of biolage products and has an earthiness to it. Overall this is very underwhelming for me. There are so many products that make the same claims and perform so much better and dont require so much effort.

This is a big no for me.

Amika is an amazing brand and this is an amazing product! I found this randomly at TJ Maxx and even though I never heard of it before purchasing, the only regret I have is not trying it sooner! I blow dry my hair every time I wash it and my hair lacks volume in the roots so my blowouts usually just look like I flat ironed it and that’s it but this product made such a difference on that.

It gives you beautiful volume, it’s so easy to use, it’s so weightless and even though I have REALLY oily hair, I don’t think this product makes your hair greasy or heavy. The only downside for is the feel of it in your hair the next day, for some reason my hair feels a bit off whenever I use it but that’s not a big enough reason for me to not love it and still totally recommend this wonderful product!.

This stuff is magic in a bottle! I usually spray this on damp or dry hair depending on which styling tool I am using. If I’m using my blowout dryer I use it in damp hair, or if I’m just curling my hair I spray my dry hair as I go through the sections while curling.

This leaves my hair feeling so bouncy and it holds my curls all day. It adds volume and the formula doesn’t make my hair feel weird. I absolutely recommend this spray to anyone!.

This did not work on my hair at all. My hair was very dry and no blowing out right. I have fine, naturally-curl, thick hair, for reference. It might work well, for other types of hair, but not mine that is already prone to.

I do love Amika’s touchable hold hairspray and I always like their packaging on all their products. The artwork on the packaging of all their products is so pretty and very feminine.

This is the stuff that dreams are made of. I’ve had boring, flat, fine, thin, lifeless hair for as long as I can remember. It’s too soft to hold a curl and too fine to just leave straight. I feel like I’ve tried every reasonably priced product out there to try to give my hair.

I love John Frieda products and this volumizing spray is no exception! I have thick, wavy hair and this spray softens yet volumizes my hair at the same time! My hair doesn’t fall flat and it has a nice bounce to it after using this spray.

The John Frieda Volume Lift Blow-Out Spray did exactly what it claims to do on my hair! It comes in an easy to use plastic spray bottle. The sweet fresh fragrance made my hair smell like I had just stepped out of the shower all day long.

I used this on my damp hair before blow drying and styling. My hair used to be very frizzy, dull, and almost unmanageable before John Frieda Volume Lift Blow-Out Spray. Now I have amazing volume that lasts all day long no matter what the weather is or what activities I’ve done that day.

When I come home my hair still looks as amazing as it did when I first styled it. I no longer worry about frizz or fly aways, my hair is smooth and shiny like it never has been before. I love being able to give myself salon styled hair everyday at home! It is a little more expensive than other brands, but it’s well worth the price.

Highly recommend for dry and frizz-prone hair. I have 3B hair that I straighten and use this prior to using a flat iron. I’ve never used something so effective at preventing frizz and puffy hair (even when humid).

I was outside for about 45 minutes on an incredibly windy day with my hair down and when I came inside I fully expected my hair to be a mess but it looked like I hadn’t just been in a wind tunnel. I was pleasantly shocked.

HOWEVER, be careful not to use too much as it could make your hair appear greasy. But my hair really loves this stuff, I also just spray it on my hands and just smooth it over my hair for extra frizz protection on humid/rainy days.

I’ve only used this for a couple weeks so I can’t yet comment on it’s effectiveness as a heat protectant. It is pricey for the amount, but I love it so I will keep purchasing. Stay away if you have oily or even normal hair.

Lastly, I also use on dry hair, haven’t tried on wet hair yet.

Order arrived with a missing lid. Ordered this spray and the WOW spray and I was shocked to find that the WOW spray leaves your hair a lot nicer than this Oribe. Half the price for WOW and leaves better results.

I spray Oribe 4 times and run through my hair (tried both spraying onto my hands and running through my hair and spraying directly onto hair) and there are no results. You spray the WOW spray 4 times and you get soft silky hair.

I sprayed a little more 8-10 with Oribe and it’s just a dry icky hair feeling. You would think that paying just under $30 for this would be worth your money, you might as well buy a meal at your regular restaurant with that money thanks to inflation.

Had to leave a review, I never do reviews but definitely do NOT waste your money on this. Get the WOW spray. Also that Amika treatment works wonders! Sorry, was the only picture I took upon delivery.

I really love this Oribe spray for honestly kind of everything. It is marketed as a blowout spray which I do use it for but I also will use a little of it on towel dried hair before i braid and it does a nice job of cutting back on frizz as well as UV protect.

As a blowout spray it performs very well. It can be used on its own but my hair needs a tad more so I use it as the final step after a leave in cream. I haven’t tested and quantified the blowout time compared to not using it, but I feel like I have to spend less time on sections because it makes my hair so silky so fast.

It smells like all other Oribe products and it adds a lovely, but not overwhelming compliment to the other scented products that I use. If its in your budget and you blow dry your hair a lot like I do, get it.

This quick blow dry spray is amazing. It smells wonderful, is light weight and really works to cut my drying time. I have fine hair but there is a lot of it. It usually takes 15-20 minutes to get the roots dry, this cuts that time to 10.

I will say, this is an oil of some kind so be careful if you accidently get some of the spray on the bathroom floor, particularly in socked feet.

one of the best products out there and the price can’t be beat. This tiny little bottle of goodness is my go to. I tried other products and ended up back to my ion. It helps cut your dry time down, leaves your hair feeling slick smooth, and less frizz.

I like it!! I like all the ion products I recently purchased. This product really help when you blow dry your hair. Spray it on and when you have fine hair, but a lot of it, like mine, it helps to dry your hair faster when you blow dry.

I’ve been watching the reviews since this came out and they always steered me away from this line. I have fine, mostly straight, hair that gets oily at the roots, but it’s color treated, dry and porous at the ends.

I chopped it to a layered lob to try to remove those ends, but it’s never enough. I’ve had a difficult time trying to find something that provided heat protection and enough moisture to eliminate winter-time static, but without weighing it down or feeling gross.

AND it has to either smell good and fade or be fragrance free. I’ve read countless reviews and articles, and I’ve tried so many products over the past few months, but never found a winner (it’s embarrassing how many tubes and sprays I have piled up :-/).

I bought this yesterday on a whim, along with the matching hairspray. Normally, I wait until a sale before I buy anything, but I took the plunge anyway. I just used a pea-sized amount today on towel-dried hair, roughly blow-dried for a few minutes (my hair dries fast!), made a few quick waves with a large barrel curling iron, then finished with a few sprays of the matching hairspray.

I’m thrilled! The perfect amount of texture, separation, and hold. And I really like the rose fragrance. It’s noticeable at first, but it’s faded nicely. I wish I would have tried this sooner. :).

I have very straight, thin, long hair but I have a lot of hair. I recently had some blonde added to my dark hair and because of that my hair tends to weigh on the more frizzy side. I don’t like adding product to my roots because it tends to make my hair dirty quicker, that wasn’t the case with this balm.

I added it to the back of middle of back of my roots and then went a little on the light side of adding it to my hair strands. It truly made a world of a difference to my hair! After blow drying it my hair was so smooth and it really took so much of the frizz away.

I’m going on day 3 of using and washing my hair and it’s still smooth and doesn’t adding the balm to my roots didn’t make my hair look greasy or dirty. Oh and it smells AMAZING – even 3 days later. I am in love with this balm!.

I never have luck trying anything to help style my naturally curly hair and this too was a disappointment. Maybe it’s just me, but after several tries with freshly washed hair this stuff made my hair flat and sticky.

Same results regardless of the amount used or how I applied it, and all I wanted to do was wash it out! I know the brand is well respected, and obviously performs well for others, so give it 2 out of 5 stars, but I don’t think my hair is that much different from anyone else, and I cannot imagine different results.

That’s why I do not trust any product to do all as claimed and go without ‘stylers’ which means my hair might be a mess by the end of the day if I am out and about. I appreciate this opportunity though, thank you.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I had to on this! When I was searching this particular product line I thought “well I might try this” to see if my curls will stay in longer than 5 minutes especially if I get hot, or the weather changes whilst out and about.

This stuff is fantastic!! It makes my hair smooth, soft, bouncy, and it holds a curl for days!!! I have touched up a few here and there. I’ve done a few different methods ie beach wave curls, mermaid waves, deep set waves, normal curls.

Bouncy blow dry. It’s a bit time consuming having to dry each section but honestly it’s the best thing I have ever bought alongside the shampoo and conditioner from his range. I will not choose any other brand from now on, this and the range of shampoo/conditioner have become my staples – I had brittle bleached to grey hair that had a little snapping of the ends it’s now glossy, soft and shiny again!! Try it, you will not be disappointed!.

My hair seems to be thinning with age, so I purchased this to add some fullness. It is easy to apply, and I use it in combination with Body Mass. I spray this product all over, use the Body Mass at the roots only, and I do use another product on my ends.

This product and Body Mass are both lightweight, and feels great in the hair. No build up of product, hair looks fuller and healthy. Nice product that I will definitely repurchase.

I have fine, thin hair. While I’ve always wanted to wear it straight and with minimal product, it has been impossible because it just falls flat and lifeless. Until now!!! This product has made my hair dreams come true giving my hair lasting body and bounce without weighing it down.

Couldn’t live it more!.

I used to buy the Creme of Nature in the bottle with the Yellow lid. You guys no longer have this being sold. This was the BEST Shampoo I have ever used. It was so good and detangling that I never had to buy a Conditioner.

But you have changed your product, and it now feels like a Cheap shampoo that Says “Detangling” but it does not do that. The one with the yellow lid absolutely did that and I miss that shampoo. I do not like the change over on this.

I love all the products from this company because my daughter has really thick curly hair and has a lot of knots in it. We both love the smell of it and the product isn’t greasy at all. I will continue to keep buying this product, it’s a go to for my daughter’s hair.

I recommend this for everyone. The price range is fair to.

This is an excellent product to use when blow drying your hair to protect it from heat damage. I also use this when I style my hair because I am naturally curly but wear my hair straight a lot. I put a small amount in the palms of my hands and rub it through my hair before styling.

It smells like argan oil which is pleasant too. It’s a great product and I highly recommend it.

This product feels and smells amazing! It promises no frizz for 4 days and that might be true if you stay inside all the time. I took it to my hairdresser to use on my hair at my last appointment. She uses some Kenra products in her salon.

My hair was so sleek and smooth when she finished, almost looked like she had used a flat iron, which she did not. She does a blow out with huge round brush. I live in south Alabama and its really humid here.

I have very thick, course , color treated, shoulder length hair. The next day I hit the outdoor trails for my usual walk and upon finishing it was back to my Brillo hair. It may work when temperatures fall and there is no humidity, but not for summers in the south.

I have been on a journey for better hair products and what works for my hair. That being said I have some what thin, wavy, frizzy hair almost to the middle of my back (alot thinner on the ends). After trying numerous products this was recommended to me by an ulta associate (THANK YOU) I absolutely love this product.

My hair is straight, full, frizz free and even better the 2nd day. As I continue to try shampoos, conditioner’s, and products this one is definitely a keeper.

The blow out worked great and I was excited that it may stay this way, as advertised, for 4 days, or at least one full day. Sadly, I went out on a walk and my hair frizzed up in under an hour. I smoothed it down with my hands and that lasted for another hour or less, then it frizzed up again.

My experience with this product is that if you keep smoothing your hair down every hour or so, it’s not bad, but defeats the purpose for me. I have a lot of fine wavy hair, and for me this didn’t work.

Glass hair has completely changed the game for me. I bleached my hair blonde last year & burnt it badly. It was dried out dull and lifeless. Using glass hair before I blow dried it was a total game changer! With glass hair it shined like it was healthy.

I have fine, straight hair that tends to lack serious volume in all areas that usually requires A LOT of frustrating finessing to get the kind of textured or casual look I want. But this. Oh THIS product has just cut my get ready time by 80%.

I can use this on my damp hair, put hair up in a clip and then let it dry for a beautiful look with so much volume at the roots and mid shaft. I can use it when my hair has dried already and I spritz some and then scrunch up for some messy and cute volume.

I can use it as if it were a hair spray, a texture spray or a volume spray. Nothing I have tried has EVER given me my dream hair before. I am astounded that this works so well. I can see how it could make your hair stringy or really dry if you already are prone to dry hair, but if you’re like me and you have no volume, hair is fine, hair is straight and you tend to get greasy, it’s 100% worth a shot!.

Supposedly with the packaging change and name change from the original “bombshell blowout” to “Brooklyn Bombshell” the formula remained the same – this is absolutely a different product/changed formula.

I have been using the original Bombshell blowout spread for years and I loved it. I purchased the new Brooklyn bombshell and it is definitely a different formula. It leaves hair greasy with residue, no matter how little product is used and it weighs it down.

Every time I have used this new formula, I end up having to rewash my hair and use a different product. I give up, this will be going back and I will not be repurchasing. I’m very disappointed.

This stuff is amazing and is housed in the cutest packaging I’ve ever seen, which just makes me happy looking at it. I have very thick hair and this gives it volume, structure and bounce for days. By far one of the best volumizing sprays I’ve used.

It will leave your hair a little bit stiff/sticky for a while, but that goes away once your hair is fully dry and then your hair feels soft to the touch. If you use too much of it, it will weigh your hair down and leave a sticky residue/buildup of product that is going to be very hard to brush through, so you need to adopt the approach of less is more with this product to achieve beautiful results.

This is the best spray for producing easy, bouncy tousled waves. And the volume lasts for a good day or so. One bottle should last ages. And the smell is really lovely, not overpowering at all.

This balm is very light, so it is perfect for straightening my curls, the only sad part about it is that I expected a more intense scent. I’m a fan of the biotin shampoo and conditioner, they smell devine! For a curly girl like me, that is essential! I expected this balm to have a similar luxurious scent.

Otherwise a great product. I use it with the anti-humidity spray right after straightening, that one smells amazing!!.

This blowout balm really transforms your hair! GIVE THIS A TRY!Most “blowout” styling products that I have tried have done virtually nothing to my hair. I always thought they were a waste, since I never saw results.

until this one. This balm + a blowout hairbrush + a hairdryer is all you need for smooth, silky hair. The product does not weigh my hair down at all either. Pair it with and you have a great, weather-resistant hair day.

PRO TIP: work the product into damp hair instead of wet hair, then blow dry for the best restults. Warning: The only downside to this product is that the scent is quite strong. the smell is pleasant, and a little goes a long way, but be careful if you are sensitive to smells.

I finally gave up just looking at this and finally ordered without any expectations even reading the excellent reviews. I been using kerastase discipline for years and happy with it as it kept my thick curly hair straight for a week even in humidity just a few touch ups between washes.

But wanted to try this because my friend swear by it and the oil as well. It is AMAZING!!!! Is very thick when put it on your hands but once you rubbed it became a cream easy to spread on the hair, the smell is citrusy to me but very light, once I put it on my damp hair I do a twist and clipped wait for maybe 20 minutes and start blow drying, just doing that my hair is soooo soft and shiny with a beautiful salon look but I do flat iron after and OMG the softness is even more and my dry/splits end just disappear! Hair looks super healthy, and no greasy at all no matter how much you use, hair looks naturally straight and very light to the touch.

I’m obsessed with this cream it’s been very humid here in Canada and my hair stay the same as when I ironed. It is worth the price and is just a bit more than the discipline one so I think I will stick to this one as a get more benefits.

This is the best blowout crme ever. I have this very curly hair that frizzes. I like to blow it out and keep a little wave at the ends. This does the trick. I work outside, and it keeps up even in humidity.

If I use it and dont blow out, it keeps my curls and the frizz under control. If I go for a few days (or even. Ore than a few days, oops!) without washing, Ill get large wavy curls at the bottom of my hair, but the top stays smoother without frizz.

Omg this stuff!!! I have very very very thick hair that is naturally dark brown but I dye it light blonde. I also live in a very humid climate so I was looking for something to stop frizz and just smooth everything down including my ends.

I used this for the first time last night after washing my hair and OMG!!! After straightening my hair it has not creased, frizzed or moved. I think this is the product I’ve been searching for! It is WELL worth the price and a little goes a long way if you comb it through your hair.

I used this along with my normal olaplex #6 and bumble invisible hair dressers oil primer spray. Would recommend this product to everyone!.

Absolutely LOVE this product, ever since trying it last year I now use it every time I blow dry my hair. My hair is a little past my butt, pin straight, and thin. There is a lot of it, and it appears thick but it’s actually not.

This product actually cuts my drying time in half! Before trying this product it used to take me 30 minutes to blow dry my hair, 45 to dry it thoroughly. It now takes 15-20 minutes! The best part for me is that it really cuts down on static hair, an issue I’ve had with my hair since I was a child.

I wish it was a few ounces bigger, but at least it’s affordable and you don’t need a lot to get the desired effects. This also doesn’t make my hair look greasy, which has happened with other similar sprays in the past.

It does have a scent but I don’t think it’s too strong. It’s sweet smelling but not so sweet that it gives me a migraine, and the scent has not negatively interfered with any of my shampoo or conditioner scents.

MY FAVORITE SPRAY EVER TO PREP MY HAIR FOR STYLING. Honestly it does the job and I love the smell! I use this every single time before styling my hair and it leaves my hair nice and smooth. Other brand I’ve used left my hair with this sort of residue and this does a good job of not doing that.
