In the instructions of how to use this oil, it says to work it though hair after a blowout. Very often, I blow out my hair with the Dyson Airwrap round brush and self-grip rollers. Self-grip rollers have a tendency to pull at the hair and break off small strands.

I definitely think this oil is great at smoothing those strands after the blow out. You don’t even have to use a full pump for the oil to do that job. With either 1 full pump or less, the oil smooths the hair without ruining the blow out or making it greasy.

My hair gets greasy QUICKLY after washing, so I really enjoy that I can use this oil for blow outs & it doesn’t affect the time in which my hair usually starts getting greasy. Also in the instructions, it says you can use this oil in your hair before washing.

I’ve done this a handful of times now. I find the oil dries down in a fair amount of time, so I like that I can douse my hair with multiple pumps, put it in a pony tail, and after about an hour, it looks normal enough to do do things that I don’t have to look really impressive for (ex: errands).

However, I notice when I completely oiling my hair up with this, it’s rather drying in comparison to other oils. For instance, I also use the Shea Moisture 100% Argan Oil, which is much cheaper, and it gives my hair that smooth oily feel that I aim for prior to washing.

With this oil, I find that myself going back and re-oiling my hair due to the dry feeling. Again, I’ve only used it as a prewash a handful of times, so I have NOT noticed yet that the dryness is a lasting affect after I wash.

I haven’t tried this yet on wet hair. Overall, it’s great for blow outs since a small pump goes far and it is light weight. When using larger amounts, I notice the hair feels more than dry than oily, and I worry this will eventually affect the dryness of my hair.

I feel that I can find a cheaper oil to smooth my hair after blowing it out.

For me, 2021 will go down in history books as the year of my tireless quest to find a reliable hair oil. Two of my fav products ended up being Ouai and Olaplex 7, but they truly accomplish VERY different things.

Ouai oil is HANDS DOWN the most lightweight and flexible oil for every day use. While Olaplex does a notable job strengthening your strands, it can very very easily weigh down your entire look. Ouai does not! I’m serious.

I’ve added it to finished curls (pictured), blowouts, flat ironed moments, etc. , and it NEVER deflates my styling. Rather, it ALWAYS makes my hair look like an enhanced version of whatever I intended.

Some days I even add it to my unstyled hair, because I know it will at least level me up from tragíc mess to ~presentable~. It also smells DEVINE! Like magnolias! The only negative is that a bottle of Ouai does not last nearly as long as Olaplex 7.

Since the formula is lighter, you not only end up using a bit more product naturally but can easily find yourself applying with a heavier hand than needed. An extra pump may not weigh you down with grease (still a W on its own), but it will eventually force you back to Ulta earlier than your wallet appreciates lol.

wow i’m blown ouai with this hair oil! (get it?) anyways. Coming from a man with short hair I love applying this oil to my hair after a shower! Just one pump leaves my hair smelling like flowers 💐 + instead of being dull its easier to manage when I want to style it + it looks healthier over all.

If you don’t enjoy fragrance, particularly strong floral scents. STEP AWAY, from OUAI! It’s not a cheap product, but it’s lasted me a long time! It’s multifunctional as it’s smoothing provides protection from heat up to 450°.

I don’t find it to be a very heavy oil – it’s just right 🤩 This Vegan formula features Borage Oil, Galanaga Root Extract and Ama-Oil 😯 Keeping it real as always, I wouldn’t recommend you splurge and buy this product if you don’t have the extra money to blow.

I can’t imagine the luxury price point is actually justifiable when there are so many alternatives on the market (even at the drugstore) However, if money isn’t a problem or if indulging in a beautifully smelling, luxurious haircare product makes your day – go for it! Additionally, if you’ve ruled out cheaper alternatives.

I am very sensitive to fragrances so I try to buy products that either use no fragrances at all or all natural ingredients. To me, this oil has too strong of a fragrance for an everyday or all day use for me.

Furthermore, i have a lot of hair but it is very thin so really even a little bit of this product makes my hair look wet and oily. I did find a use for this product though. I use this as a full scalp/hair oil which I put on about an hour before I’m going to shower – then wash out completely and style normally.

I probably wouldn’t buy this again for the fragrance alone. Would consider buying a similar product if they came out with a fragrance free option.

I hated this product at first. It made me super oily looking, but that’s because I used too much. I have thicker, course, dry hair and three drops do it. It’s the only product after showering I use and it honestly doesn’t feel like you’re doing anything when your put it in your hair because the oil is so thin… but it IS.

It doesn’t weigh my hair down and my hair feels lighter and not course like usual. It smells amazing and using so little means the product is well worth its price. I never use products because they always makes my hair gross but this is the exception!!.

I got this as a sample when ordering the shampoo and conditioner and totally surprised me. My hair is mostly straight but does have a little wave to it and can get a little puffy/frizzy in the humidity of the summer.

I use the oil on damp hair after showering, focusing on my ends but also using the remainder on my hair line and it makes my hair SO soft and smooth! It’s not greasy, super light weight, and it smells so refreshing! I literally don’t ever rebuy products because most just end up making my hair feel dirty faster but this stuff is HEAVEN.

I have dandruff and split ends problem so I purchased this oil. The main thing why I wasn’t using any kind of oil was that I go to work everyday and giving oil n leaving overnight used to make my hair oily and with shampoo rinse the oil won’t go off.

But THIS SHAMPOO IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT. It also reduced my drandruff after the 1st application itself. PROS: 1. lightweight 2. Doesn’t make our face oily too after application 3. Rinse of easily 4. Works for reducing drandruff and split ends.

I actually just signed up for an account here because of Okay Hair Sorbet. I was a little apprehensive because of it being called a Sorbet and I thought that it might be a water based product. I was thoroughly impressed when I tried it after a hair wash and trying it with my hair was dry.

The best thing is that a little does go a long way with this product. It wont enhance your hair to make a curl. Rather it helps those with curls to be more defined and more shine to the curl. Please Do Not Change the formula.

It’s great for between 1 to 4 hair. It’s just not good for those prone to thick dry undefined curls. It is worth purchasing for twist outs and wash and goes. This is a product that I will be adding to my own arsenal.

I have long curly hair and I love this stuff! I use it as a leave-in conditioner and sometimes finish with a styling jelly over top! It’s very thick but it applies really easily on wet hair and it doesn’t weigh it down.

That’s really important for me because I hate when my curls are flat. This has a nice smell and leaves my curls looking bouncy! I definitely recommend applying it into wet hair, and if you have thinner hair (as I do), a little goes a long way.

When I use it to refresh my curls, I get them a little wet which helps with the application and helps re-define them.

I purchased this at a department store in Dallas Texas. I don’t recall where. But I love this product. My daughter and I both have wavy curly African American hair. Mine is more fine and she has a thicker definition.

However the product works great for us both. You do have to play around with it because depending on the result you have to use less or more product. I will be trying the shampoo and conditioner, lip balm and some other products as well.

I received a free sample of this, and I am actually going to shell out the full price for a bottle of it because I cannot believe the difference it has made. My hair is ridiculously fine, thin, straight, and long.

My hair is easily weighed down, doesn’t hold texture, doesn’t hold volume, and looks greasy by the end of the day no matter what. I cannot skip a single shower, and I avoid using product in my hair in any way, shape, or form because not only will my hair look unwashed, stringy, and greasy (even with dry shampoo), but my scalp will break out.

I can’t even stray from the same shampoo/conditioner I’ve always used because my hair will freak out. All that to say– I cannot believe this product works on me. The ends of my hair dry out terribly, and in general my hair has not been in great shape.

On the first use, my hair definitely felt softer, but after about a week of using this at night before bed, and every other day also putting some on the bottom half of my hair after a morning shower made my hair look and feel smoother, too.

Tangled hair has been minimized, and brushing my hair is easier– less snags than usual. The oil does not have that viscous, sticky consistency that other treatments have, and doesn’t have the weight and texture that make my hair limp.

It is a very light oil that feels dry on contact, and does not alter the texture of my hair when applied, but the difference in softness is definitely felt. It also smells freaking amazing. 10/10, will actually buy, and would buy again! (Full disclosure: don’t know if I’d try the other products, unless they were free samples, because I don’t know if the same magic translates, but this particular product is definitely A+.

My always dry hair became very damaged from a combo of highlighting and overly hot heat tools. I bought this in the large size in an attempt to help heal my life over-processed locks. It did nothing at all to change the condition of my hair.

I have worked hard on restoring my hair’s health. Though this product was for me a waste of money (and it isn’t cheap!), I was able to help myself by massaging simple canola oil into my hair and scalp a couple of times per week, by cutting off the frazzled ends and reducing my shampooing to not more than once weekly, and by lowering the temperature of my heat tools, which I also only use once weekly.

The canola oil has worked really well. The day I do it my hair does look oily, which is a very rare look for me! If I need to I will use a little Moroccanoil dry shampoo for light hair, which helps. This treatment oil probably works well for less damaged hair but really did not help mine at all.

The canola oil has no fragrance, is vastly less expensive, and has helped me tremendously. I do love the fragrance of these Moroccanoil products, though! I may buy the dry shampoo again just to apply sparingly when I give myself a canola oil treatment, but I will not buy the treatment oil ever again.

If you have hair like mine – dry, coarse and damaged, you too may find a simpler and less costly solution. It’s worth a try, no?.

I originally got this as a free sample for my birthday, but I loved it so much that I had to buy another bottle once that one ran out. I don’t think I’d go back to not using it. I think I mainly started using it for facial hair after learning that oils help get makeup off of it so your beard doesn’t look weirdly powdery after putting on makeup.

Then I figured I’d try this on my facial hair and see how that goes, and though I’m not sure how well it’s working for use with makeup, it’s definitely great for making hair soft! I’m transitioning and on hormones, and initially I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about growing a beard or even keeping one, but it just feels like a normal part of my face now, and being able to keep the hair soft and not pokey definitely made a difference in deciding to keep it.

It also smells good (kind of a marshmallow scent?), and the smell isn’t overwhelming while wearing a mask. Overall, absolutely love this product, and despite how small the bottle is, it lasts quite a long time even with daily use.

Let me tell you. I have searched high and low for something that works with my hair! I am of mixed heritage, and my hair has all types of curl patterns going on and also tends to be on the dry side. However, since finding this amazing product, my hair is smooth, soft, and no longer unruly.

After a wash and deep condition, I make sure my locks are pampered with this nourishing nectar. I can either leave Carols Daughter serum on and let my hair dry– embracing my curls. or, it has worked wonders in the straightening process.

I’ve never used a hair oil before so I didn’t know what to expect. I have bleached hair so it’s damaged and brittle and dry now but this actually made it so soft and shiny. And it helped my shampoo lather up more nicely now.

This is a light oil but a little goes a long way! Makes my hair soft and keeps my ends moisturized. The smell is naturally super strong and earthy so I added Jasmine essentials oils to give it a smell I preferred.

I Have extremely dry porous color treated hair the dryness comes from the extremely hard water we have where I live. This product has made my hair practically back to normal I only give it 4 stars because its natural scent is not so great so I have to use another product to help with that,other than that it is a great product I am very happy with my purchase.

I have become a huge user of hair oil, so I have owned quite a few of them. I always use use silicone-free etc. , and this one is the least expensive yet somehow by far the best. I love how light it is- you would have to really screw up to look greasy.

I use this every time I wash my hair, but I also use some when I wake up in the morning to re-tame it as needed. I use all 3 Lolavie products and they are such game changers. I have very thick hair that is fairly curly, and these products tame my hair more than anything ever has.

I had someone else try the products who has thinner, wavy hair, and she is sold as well. Both of us can’t get over how smooth, defined, and moisturized our hair seems now. I can’t imagine any reason I would buy any other brand of styling products again.

Wonderful product. I’m now using the three products together and I have really been pleased with the results. I have very long hair and being over 60 (I can’t believe that one) presents unique challenges.

My hair has always been on the fine side and now it’s very fragile. The Lolavie line greatly helps in reducing tangles and hair loss while adding moisture without a greasy weigh down. The new oil adds a wonderful bounce and body to my hair! I’ve also noticed that skipping a shampoo is ok because my hair looks better 2-3 days out.

I am 51 years old, I have very long hair and have always had a “routine” to take care of it. I’ve noticed the last four years the my hair has been changing (aging!) and saw the praise for the Lolavie Detangler, what a game changer! So then, my 15 year old son was looking for a light leave in conditioner for his hair, so we got that, and we BOTH love it! I recently dyed my hair so my curls are giving 4A/4B. Many people will say that this hair oil doesn’t work or they did not see results from it but personally I have been taking photos of my hair when I was a “hair color virgin“, before I started dying my hair and when I first died my hair I took pictures of its natural growth rate between day one and day 28.

Months down the line I was using the oil after re-dying my hair again for a lighter color and I tracked the progress and it was safe to say that because of the oil and me consistently using it that my hair growth was a lot faster with using it then it was naturally.

It is possible to say that I am on bottle number three or four, it lasts a very long time!.

Besides that, it is affordable and is usually available at your local beauty supply. My recommendation would be to use it a few times a week just so your hair isn’t smelly.

Or you can use it as a massage oil. It lasts a very long time. Has extra virgin olive oil so it’s gentle on the hair and skin.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis is the absolute best moisturizer for skin I have found in over 50 years. Not kidding! You put it on when you get out of the shower and are still wet. It goes on oily, but will sink into the skin leaving it soft and feeling great.

I’ve used lots of oils before that sink in and leave your skin as dry as when you started. This does not do that and your skin stays moisturized for at least 24 hours. It also works on hair but you will want to shampoo after you use it.

It doesn’t sink into the hair like it does on skin. Oh, it has a nice odor. Not a real noticeable scent, so it does not interfere with perfumes or such. You may have trouble finding it at regular stores, but it is out there and worth the effort.

I love this product I think my hair actually grew a little. I am trying to keep this and get it to grow this is the way my hair looks after taking it down from the other hair do in my earlier review.

My hair is soft. It’s natural curls are more full my hair doesn’t tangle which is the thing that causes most breakage. It’s an oil so feels alittle greasy but washes out great.

Where have this product been all of my life?! This is the miracle that my 4c fine hair type has been looking for! I love the fact that its both a moisturizer and a sealant. The texture is light enough for those with fine hair.

I wouldn’t recommend buying the Tropic Isle Living Black Castor Oil product from them. Although it arrived in a perfect time and great packaging, it was not any good. I opened it and got ready to use it and it was clumpy, lumpy, and oily.

It literally looked like fish eggs stuffed off in a container. That is not what it supposed to look or feel like. It supposed to be a grease like, cocoa butter, or pomade feel. I don’t know if I got a bad batch or what but be careful ordering this product from them.

I am totally in love with this hair oil. I find it’s better than the normal coconut hair oil. My hair is dark brown in colour and thick and wavy. Definitely smells good because it’s not so pungent to hate it.

This is my first time trying the black seed oil. Ive tried the other kinds of same brand (almond, amla, etc). Black seed is said to be extremely beneficial to hair so Im giving this a try. Already trust that itll help strengthen my roots.

I have curly, mid length, thick but bot coarse or unruly hair. I part my hair in four sections then spray aloe water on my srxtions and atoubd my scalp and hair. I apply this to my parted hair and ariund my hairline and nape area.

I also apply this to my ends, i sit under the dryer for 30 minutes so it soaks into my hair. The out come is beautiful! This process takes about 45 minutes but it’s totally worth it. I do this once a week!!.

I used it on wet hair before I blow dried it. Following the directions on the bottle, I only used 2-3 drops on my long hair. It definitely took away any frizz and left me with a sleek, smooth, shiny finish when I blow dried it.

There is a very subtle fragrance – a light floral and herbaceous scent – when you open the bottle. Once you rub it in your hands, however, all I could smell was vegetable or castor oil of some sort, which I didn’t particularly like.

The floral smell dissipates but I still on occasion got a whiff that reminded me of cooking oil in my hair when I used it as a finishing oil – not the best. I purchased this hair oil together with Augustinus Baser’s shampoo and conditioner. I was excited to try their haircare range products as I have positive experience of using their signature face creams.

This hair oil is my favourite among the three products I bought. It is very nourishing and luxurious. It works wonders on my thirsty hair, making it super soft while not leaving greasy residue! I also like the natural fragrance from the floral oils in it – light and not overpowering.

I recommend the AB Hair Oil from the hair product range. It is a lightweight oil. For a medium hair 3-4 drops are needed. It does not leave the hair grease, it is one of the best oils that I have tried for my hair.

I don’t think it improves the hair quality but it does smooth the hair and you don’t have to worry that it will leave the hair oily when using too much as the consistency is seriously amazing. With some discount perhaps, I find the price also acceptable compared to other AB products.

This hair mask is not a product on Influenster yet but it’s the same brand as this hair oil which I also love! But the hair mask is amazing!! It’s sooo hydrating and smells FANTASTIC. I also feel like my hair always looks better the next day.

I’m not sure why but the smell always reminds me of Sol de Janeiro products. I have had this mask for a while and still have lots left. Recommend!!.

I put this on my hair after I wash it or when it is dry. I add it to the ends where my hair is really dry. It works! I am also working w the mask and that too is helping my curly hair. It does not leave my hair oily.

This hair oil is amazing. This oil if for curly hair but i use it on my straight hair and I love it. You can use it on dry or damp hair. I use it before straightening my hair and it works amazing it leaves you hair feeling smooth,silky, and soft.
