20 Best Grow Tent Oscillating Fan (2023 Updated)

I can’t say enough GREAT things about this fan. !!! First of all it comes with 10 speeds and it’s amazingly quiet, i couldn’t believe how quiet my tent got after replacing 2 GrowBuds fans with 2 AC Infinity CloudRay S6 with Auto Oscillation fans! Next, you’re now able to connect them to your existing setup with AC Infinity Exhaust fan, light, and hygrometers and can be individually controlled accept oscillation unless oscillation was on when fan turned off because when you turn it back on it’ll start with the same speed and oscillation as when it was turned off.

Still a nice feature, i love it! My tent got 4° cooler just by swapping fans for AC Infinity fans that are ONLY working on speed “6” out of “10”. I’m using CO2 in my setup so I need the temperature to stay above 80° and below 86° for CO2 to work/photosynthesize properly so, for me the temperature drop wasn’t a good thing, but for most it will be 😊 I just need to turn the fans down a little to allow the heat to build up more because these fans are really doing a great job of moving the air around.

Didn’t expect for the temperature to drop a little, but for me it’ll be very useful for those very hot 🔥 days when they come, so I’ll just need to get adjusted to this awesome power and proper cooling that’s only available with these AC Infinity fans.

I’m sure that for people with much bigger setups than 4’x4′ tent you’ll need bigger fans like the 9″ AC Infinity that’s being produced as we speak but anything beyond that you’ll need bigger fans and that’s a totally different setup because now that’s more of a professional setup and totally different amounts of finished product which is normally not for personal use.

As home setups go, this is by far the Best purchase I have ever made and I have a feeling it’s going to remain the Best for a while because I can’t see how can someone make a better fan then that! Hands down the best 6″ Clip-on Oscillating Fan on the market today.

I’ve tried GrowBuds, GrowBrite, and a couple Chinese (no name) models, but they all suck and don’t come close to the way AC Infinity works! Highly recommend! Outstanding seller, very helpful, very knowledgeable, NOT trying to sell you when you ask for for help or ask questions! Simply, a pleasure doing business with! This is my 3rd fan i bought in 2 weeks.

I really like the tent clip style. The app and UIS have given me no problems and make setup convenient and easy to adjust. The down sides make me pretty unsure if this is a small upgrade or a step sideways from other clip fans.

I’m not yet convinced the longevity of this will be significantly better than a cheaper fan. It is constructed externally like nearly every other fan you’ve used (plastic housings, etc. ) I’m hoping the IP-44 rating is what will make the lifespan difference.

The plug location on the fan head makes routing the UIS cable kinda difficult to get a satisfactory result. The oscillation causes wire movement which has me concerned about wire chaffing/fatigue long term.

if your tent bows in at all (like during exhaust negative pressure) the fan will likely contact the tent walls on both sides of the oscillation travel. You can hear the oscillation motor slightly load when this happens and this also makes me wonder about the longevity.

Fingers crossed on the lifespan. All the other AC infinity products have held up so far so this will probably do the same.

I had the privilege of being one of the people to test these fans ahead of time on my YouTube channel. And let me tell you…. I received them in December and I have not had any issues as of yet. They have been going strong 24/7 the past 5 almost 6 months on the #8 setting while oscillating.

They don’t slow down or make strange noises when they oscillate like most of the other cheap fans on the market. These run just like a fan should. They are also fairly quiet and push as much air or more than the little blizzard.

These fans are safe, tested and stamped with safety approval. This might increase cost slightly but at least they won’t burn down your house, not to mention that they last longer than a couple months.

They also have warranty! Just like everything else made by Ac Infinity, these fans are great. We needed new pole fans and ac infinity made it happen. There will even be bigger models available. Thank you to the Ac Infinity Team for putting out gear we all need.

I purchased 1 of these for my 4×4 tent so I could remove the milk crates I had stacked in the corner for my oscillating fan and couldn’t be happier. So much so that I bought another one for my 5×5. I was skeptical at first l, as I thought I wasn’t going to be able to mount it.

ZIP TIES was all I needed to securely mount it to corner pole of my tent. I have it on low and that’s all the breeze I need. Plants look like palm trees in Miami blowing in the wind. The 90 degree oscillation covers my whole tent.

Trust me NO MORE SMALL CLIP ON FANS THAT WONT STAY PUT AND IVE GAINED ALL MY FLOOR SPACE. IF YOU’RE IN A TENT I THINK THIS IS A MUST HAVE PRODUCT.

Its starting to make another weird noise first was the clicking noise now its making another weird noise total of two weird sounds. Feel like that thing its gonna fudge up soon. Regret paying all that money for that fudge up fan.

One of the fans came with box tore. When I opened the fan was broke plastic pieces busted off. The other fan worked about 5 hours then quit working. oscillation still worked but not the turning of the fan blades.

This is one of the few clip fans that will actually stay on a tent pole. The added spring gives it a tight grip and ensures a solid hold. the fan is sturdy and powerful. Shipping was quick and had no issues.

Just what the bathroom needed to keep mirror from fogging. Why 4 and not 5 stars? Fan has a buzzing vibration BUT,,only on slow speed. Not a “deal breaker,” but enough to ding it one star. Yes! I tried moving it, remounting it.

So I have had 2 of these fans now about 3 months. They did great. however as someone mentioned earlier the grills do rust it seems. I keep mine under my sump upside down to cool the water. I will point out the great things about the fans.

They have a complete 360 degree rotation and you can pretty much put them anywhere. So dont worry about angles really. My one fan after 3 months just started making that “O it has a bearing or something going bad inside it” and or its just a worn out piece inside and will continue to make noise but still function.

I think its all about your tolerance for noise. Overall there pretty good.

I come from the land of the ice and snow, but I share a thermostat with three lizard-people. I needed something to pull the hallway air into my area without causing them to be uncomfortable for my happiness.

I set up this fan immediately when I got it, and was thrilled with it. I turned it on, high speed, and immediately appreciated the air flow. It’s got a little bit of a high-pitched whirr in the sound of the fan, but I quit noticing it after a little while.

I heard it more prominently in the hallway outside my office, but no one else commented on it, and again, I quit noticing. On that first day, when I stepped out of my office to run an errand, I pushed the power button – and found the “low” setting.

It’s significantly quieter, and still has noticeable air flow. The lower setting, on oscillate, has been perfect for most days. On occasion, I’ll use the high setting when the weather outside shifts suddenly warmer and the HVAC isn’t ready for that change.

I like the oscillation on both settings – it moves slowly, which is nice. And the oscillation itself doesn’t make any noise, which is nice. And all of that was _after_ I dropped it on the ground while juggling lots of things between my house and car, to head to work.

So far so good. I picked up this fan after reading millions of reviews on _other_ fans. I bought this one because it’s cheap and sounded similar, in positives and negatives, to so many others – if it’s going to be horrible, at least I’m not out $50+ bucks.

**UPDATE** 08-08-2017 After consistent perfect performance, this afternoon the fan on low setting dramatically reduced power. It still oscillates and kicks out air, but only barely noticeable from arms length.

The white noise aspect is greatly diminished. I haven’t tried cleaning it yet – there was a good bit of dust on the air intake grate. High power setting function, with and without oscillate, is still flawless.

**UPDATE** 09-13-2017 I think it objected to being turned off at the extension cord it shares with one lamp, as opposed to via the unit controls. When I started exclusively using the unit controls, it started working normally again.

Weird, but that’s easy to accommodate.

UPDATE: Earlier today, 2/5/18, I wrote the below review and gave this product 2/5 stars. Since then, I took the fan apart and found that one of the two screw-in brackets that holds the motor to the oscillating unit (fan blades) was loose.

This bracket also keeps the fan blades in place rather than moving around freely while spinning. I tightened these down and the fan is now working as good as when it was brand new, possibly even more quietly.

I’m very happy that it wasn’t anything more serious like a bearing in the motor actually having failed so early on. I’m giving this product 4/5 stars because I shouldn’t have had to fix this fan so early on.

Otherwise, this fan would receive a 5/5 for its small footprint, quiet nature, and for serving its purpose well, which is to be a desk fan at my office. Great fan for the first 2 months. Now it’s screaming loudly.

I don’t know if there’s something that is rubbing up against the frame inside or if it’s a bearing that is loose, it’s not a knocking sound. But, in any case, I’m very disappointed in this. I’d be happy if someone would contact me about getting a replacement, I would be more than willing to send my current one back if anyone wants to inspect it.

I did really like the fan when it worked.

Great little fan for an office setting or home office where it sits on a desk top. Its not the quietest fan but if youre not in a dead silent office with no cubicle walls, no one will really notice on low setting.

Its solid and doesnt look cheesy. Ive had this about a year in my office – Im near a window so I need a fan even in the winter when the sun makes my cubicle too hot until I pull down nearby shades. Definitely recommend but no its not like the super expensive silent fans.

Its not loud by any means, but some office mates who are fussy may not love the humming. I have another room essentials fan that was $5-10 and thats quieter, but also isnt nearly as good and doesnt oscillate which is important to me.

I didnt want one beam of air blowing on me at one speed all day.

This fan is absolutely perfect. My living room gets hot hot hot and my plants were suffering. Upon using this and using the oscillating feature, it has helped bring life to my plants. The fan circulates air wonderfully.

The fan speeds are fantastic. The remote is so helpful in the sense you don’t have to get up to adjust the fan!.

Unlike the description I found this fan deafening at the only speed where a breeze could be felt, the high setting. There is no way this would cool a 100-300 square foot space, either. Sitting 30 inches away I could feel a breeze, on high.

Also, the controls are awkwardly placed so the fan is picked up to touch the controls. The controls are so sensitive that it quickly goes right to the highest setting. I expected more from Sharper Image.

This SPIN 12 oscillating fan is wonderful. I found the directions easy to understand and assembly was simple. Love the fact that no tools are required. Fan is very sturdy and durable. Has a nice strap to enable carrying.

Remote control is a great asset when being lazy. Not only oscillates but you can use steady if prefer. Has 3 speeds which are nice. I do use for sleeping and have found sound is either quiet or minimal depending on speed.

Overall extremely pleased with this fan.

I use these fans in my greenhouse and they are wonderful. With the fans up high the string for the controls, thid works perfectly since I do not have to get on a step/ladder to turn them on and off. Three different speeds allows me to control the airflow depending on the weather.

Lasko engineered the blades to produce more air at lower speeds, so it produces a lot of wind when I turn it on. I reccomend this because its basically an oscillating version of the Lasko model B20200, due to the design of the blades.

I have had a previous fan for about 3 years and it is still working. We are buying this fan for another room. It is everything advertised. 3 speeds, quiet (one is in our bedroom), oscillating back and forth, not up and down.

You can adjust up or down. Great fan. Easy to install. find a stud and drill the holding piece and then set fan on it. Never has come off.

If you are a person like I am and have to sleep with a fan on 365 days a year this is the perfect fan for you. I have never seen a fan with so many settings before I am completely amazed. This is a very stylish nice looking fan way better than the box fans or oscillating floor fans or the ones on the stands.

There is very little assembly required. My favorite part is that is comes with a remote control so when I am laying at bed at night and ready to go to sleep I don’t have to get up to turn the fan on.

Also included is the 3v lithium battery for the remote and the instruction manual that tells you the do’s and donts,the assembly of the base and that is all you have to assemble,the features and also the warranty information.

The battery compartment for the remote control can be a little tricky to figure out but all you need to do is face the settings part of the remote control towards you and while pushing the little leaver part to the right while pulling up at the same time and it will open right up.

It did take me a few times to accomplish this but I did finally figure it out. Also it gets very hot and humid here in the summer and we just have one little air conditioner in the window so when you turn the oven on the heat shoots up like 20 degrees so this with the 360 degree turn oscillation it is going to drastically help with the airflow in the kitchen.

This is really a nice fan! I love that its wall mounted. You can Set this up in a house, shop, garage, travel trailer, you name it. I live in a vintage 1930s farmhouse, and while it has good bones and Charm, it’s not modern, I have no ceiling fans in the kids rooms.

This fan works perfect, I picked a spot on the wall so this fan would Move the air around the room. Assembly is very easy, just a few Steps the put together the fan blade and cage section. there is 2 pull cords That hang down so one is for oscillation or swing mode, the other Is for speed, these are more for if your hanging this up high. This fan really moves the air around the room good, its powerful, and Not too noisy.

This Hurricane Wall Mounted Fan is everything & more. I was able to mount this fan all by myself ( 49 yr. old Lady). I found the perfect place for it , living room area. It’s perfect & cools the entire area.

It also gives me the opportunity to cool down stairs without having to turn my AC on. Since there are plenty of days when I don’t want to run my AC. I love that it can rotate & tilt up or down. The white color blends in with the wall perfectly.

I purchased this as a boost to the window A/C unit. Our dogs sleep in the downstairs family room. We have central air except in this addition. We purchased a window a/c and it was fine but the dogs still seemed un comfortable.

A lot of panting. This fan really moves the cool air around making it feel much cooler for then. No more panting. The oscillating feature is wonderful. Remote is a bonus. You can really tell the difference if the ac is on without the fan.

The fan is ok, especially if you sit close to it. It was easy to assemble and the remote works just fine once you provide the battery. I was very happy that it was in stock during one of our hot, hot heat waves.

Helped to keep me cool while central air was being repaired and to distribute the cool air once A/C was repaired and blasting!.

The item advertised is the Lasko 36 inch tower fan with remote control. It is not the similar Lasko model (Model 2505) that is a 36 inch tower fan with remote control AND fresh air ionizer. This error on BJ’s part is causing me to make another trip there to return the item as I expected to get the fresh air ionizer.

Do not be duped. The unit without the fresh air ionizer is a lower cost.

Very disappointed just junk not as described with product pictured. Nothing usable and the one piece that maybe good was bent when crammed in the small box. Went right to the curb for trash pickup in the same box as shipped just wrapped a twenty around it.

Stays out of the way with the wall mount. doesn’t draw too much power. It has 3 settings settings I use two of them for proper ventilation in my smoking room. Successfully pushes the cigarette smoke out the room! At this price and quality of product You would be foolish to purchase a fan anywhere else! Plan on buying more for rest of the home.

I bought this fan to go in my greenhouse that is a 10×12. I will need to buy another one to get the coverage that I need. It is a good value, for what you get. I looked at other fans that, one fan would have done the job but at a much higher price.

So even having to buy too is still a great deal. Excellent Product.

After doing quite a bit of research on finding the best fan to replace our old one for use in our bedroom, as it doesn’t get cool enough in the summer, I chose this one based on features and reviews.

It says its ultra quiet & people reported it was, but it is not unless you put it on low setting and not oscillating. If you set it on night mode or oscillating, it sounds like a wind storm, where it goes up and down in air flow.

The night mode is confusing, not sure what it actually means as it doesn’t change anything. The lights on the display stays on. To actually turn off the display, you have to hold down the mode button for a few seconds.

I wish I had kept the box to return it, but i guess we will just have to deal with it.

This fan blows pretty strong! Im not sure about it being quiet. but I wouldn’t say it’s loud enough to bother. You can dim the LCD screen which can be bright at night. My favorite feature is that you can control it from your cell phone via an app.

This does come with a remote that can be easily stored up top where the buttons are. The buttons are safely under a push open top to keep those little hands from pressing them. Overall I will say this is a nice fan, does the job well.

My only complaint is that it beeps loud when you press a button, wish we had the option to turn that off.

Since my car has no A/C and it’s been almost 100 degree weather, I bought this fan to help circulate the air while windows down. To my surprise the fan works just like the larger ones it has a switched for on/off, switch for swivel left to right and you can position the fan how you want it.

Now for the downside now for my car playing it on the dashboard was a no go. So I placed it in my cup holder and still works the same. Dashboard and windshield to close together to allow the fan to rotate.

Instructions do say make sure switch is in the off position before plugging into your cigarette lighter then turn it on and when done turn it off and I say for safety measures unplug it.

I love the fact, that the fan turns off, when I turn off my car. The well-made, fan blows really strong! I clipped it on the side of a cooler, filled with ice, which helps “a little bit,” with respect to blowing even cooler air.

I live in Phoenix and I’d get my A/C fixed, if the cost of doing so, wasn’t nearly as much as the total value of my vehicle. Anyway, it works really well and I no longer arrive at my destinations, completely soaked in sweat and with a face, similar to the color of eggplant!.

Poor quality. Feels cheap. Adhesive is terrible and after 10minutes stopped working for a few minutes for no reason. Does not COOL air, only circulates the air.

I was looking for a fan to replace my Honeywell TurboForce Air Circulator (a little black fan that’s true to its name) because it’s SOOOO LOUD, even on the lowest setting–those of you who own one know what I’m talking about).

It probably isn’t the most optimal fan for the space in which it was used, but it’s what I had to work with. To keep my laptop cool while being used, all-day-long, I’d have the Honeywell fan on and couldn’t always hear the audio, even at 100% volume, so I’d have to put on my headphones, which tethered me to my laptop.

This Lasko fan is really quiet on the low setting, giving off only a gentle, low-frequency hum, and isn’t much louder on the high setting. Air output is strong, sending out a cool breeze that travels quite a distance.

The fan tilts up and down, and can swivel 360 degrees. I haven’t used the base stand yet, but the clip is secure when clamped horizontally. I can hear the audio from my laptop clearly now, even with the fan a mere 4 – 5 inches from it, and I’m no longer on a 4″ headphone leash.

As for maintenance, I’ve only had the fan for a few days now, but when the dust accumulates, the front metal grill that’s held in place with four plastic tabs should pop right off. Very happy with this purchase, and would definitely recommend it to others.

I wish I had purchased this fan a long time ago. It’s perfect and does it’s job wonderfully. I’ve checked out other personal fans and none of the others has the flexibility that this one does. The heavy duty clip holds anywhere securely, yet is easily moved when needed.

And when they say it is quiet, it truly is. I have it attached to a shelving unit right next to my chair and I can’t hear it at all. And I am not hard of hearing. It swivels, bends and rotates so you can direct it’s wonderful breeze anywhere you want with no difficulty at all.

And with two speeds I’m able to pick the perfect speed. I cool my home down at night by opening windows, so that in the daytime I have no need to turn on costly air conditioning. When in the late afternoon it warms up a bit I’m able to turn on my personal fan right next to me and problem solved.

I am immediately comfortable again. It’s great, I really do love this wonderful fan. As they say:Try it you’ll like it. ! ! ! !.

When it comes to these 6 fans, I have yet to find one that didnt live up to my expectations. Both the Lasko and Air King (Air King is Laskos division for industrial and commercial duty fans) are down right fantastic.

They are silent and both so much air for the light noise they make. The only thing I would say to improve these fans is to make them in different colors. I would love to have a black one or even a purple one! I can put up with white because these are great fans, but all that aside theyre more than worth it.

I can’t bear air conditioning blowing on me a full night, so I like to use fans. I have a table top fans, but it’s difficult to find a space for them. I needed a tall floor fan. So far this fan has been sufficient.

It’s mostly plastic, except for the middle arm piece, which is some form of metal, and not light weight. At first I thought the fan might tip over, because of the weight with the light plastic base. Not at all.

It does make a slight noise when it oscillates to one side. However, it’s not really an annoying sound. It actually looks decent once it’s put together. As long as it keeps working, I can say, I’m happy with it.

My friend has this fan, which is why I bought it, she got hers years ago. Her’s compared to my new one, is better, even in an older condition!. This fan is cheap, and the remote is too small for the batteries that are suppose to go in it! I would not recommend this fan, it also isn’t loud enough.

There wasn’t much to choose from so I got it, but I had bought a Comfort Zone 14″ table fan first, that ended up being a piece of crap, I returned it, this Lasko floor fan is better, but not by much!.

The hurricane pro 16 inch high velocity orbital wall/floor fan in black is so nice. This product is perfect for garages,workshops,and other areas. This is a very heavy duty fan. It is a quality metal build.

Nice rubber feet as well. Has different settings that you can choose to your liking. I would highly recommend this product!.

I put this fan in my garage to keep air circulating around my 2 upright freezers. The air this fan puts out on the low setting is exceptionally good and it’s not loud at all. No putting it together (which I love), comes completely assembled and the air output is exceptional.

I would definitely buy again and highly recommend! It’s a very nice looking fan to boot!.
