I am very happy with this mat so far! First of all, the materials used are very high quality! And the mat is super durable as well! It is made with PVC material which makes it super strong and durable.

I love that this mat is weather resistant as well, so no matter when you grill, the mat will hold up nicely! The mat is pretty heavy too so I know it will last me a while! I also really like the size of the mat! Because of the size, most grills will fit on it! I love that I don’t have to worry about grease getting all over our patio! It is non slip too, so it stays in place nicely.

And cleaning it off is easy too! Just spray it down with a hose and you are good to go. I highly recommend this grill mat! It is just super nice and really works well to protect against grease stains! Give it a shot, you will be happy you did!! Pros: quality, durability, weather resistant Cons: None so far.

This mat is awesome. I love that I can keep my grill area looking nice. This has protected my patio against spill, splatters, and drips. Its large enough and covers a good area around my grill. I like that I can just spray it off or wipe up a spill.

Its thick and heavy duty while being easy to clean. What more could I ask for.

I am so happy they had mad a grill matt. I actually am using this on my boat so when I bbq on the boat I put the mat and the BBQ right on top of it and it’s so darn easy to just clean up the mess afterwards that’s if I even make a mess.

You also can use the mat for when u go swimming off the boat it’s really easy when u hop back on the boat to have the mat there so u don’t slip after swimming so we use it for multiple things. Thank you.

I like the material and the look of the Floor Protection Mat. However, I’m giving it 3 stars because it’s smaller than anticipated. It barely covers the area underneath my EX-6 and 4-burner Genesis. When I hang grilling tools from the hooks, sauce drips on my patio because it’s not covered by the mat.

Perhaps various sizes would remedy this issue.

I am using this mat under a genesis S-435. Unrolls nicely and easy to layout. My only issue and it may be because my BBQ is longer; is that if you hang your tools the mat doesn’t cover the floor in that area.

I may need to buy a second one (which is a bit annoying) to avoid grease getting on the floor. Wish they had larger sizes.

I’m so glad these are now available in the US now. I bought my initial ones in Germany. Users have to spent a bit of time unfolding them first because they’re curled, but once done, they stay intact throughout the winter.

this is the business. If you’re grilling up a feast on a regular basis it stops all the mess, meat and muck from getting all over the place. It also doesn’t look half bad but I don’t mind having it on the balcony.

Looks great! The bend from the mat came out almost immediately after I laid it out. Hopefully it holds up over time. I would need a year of use before I can comment on that. Value: Seems a little bit pricey for the mat but it is has a brand name on it so that is probably what pushed the cost up.

Really nice mat. Heavy, excellent quality and lays flat right out of the box. The only knock against it is I thought it was going to be black but it’s grey, which I actually like better with stainless grill but I wasn’t expecting grey color.

Good value for the money. We bought an electric smoker. actually 2 of them. One for home and one for our camp. The creosote drips off the door when you open it and we wanted to protect our deck. I bought one, cut it in half and now we have a mat for both smokers.

It is thin, but it will still do the job. We are very satisfied with our purchase.

Works great. No complaints from hubby…so I guess I’m assuming it works great. No holes in the deck under the grill, let’s just go with that.

So far these non stick grill mats have exceeded my expectations. The Pro’s -Non stick surface is excellent. you can slide the meat around easily. Before the KONA grill mats my burgers, chicken, steak all use to to stick to the grill until after the first turn.

-Grilled vegetables have a more steamed appearance rather than crispy black burns. -The grill stays clean, only have to wash the mats which takes less 30 seconds. burned charred food and 20 minutes of soaking, the days of black soot are over.

-I have a convection grill and my biggest pet peeve was the fat and juices left behind filling the openings, plugging the grill from the flame. I had to soak and scrub the cooked on leftovers which was very messy.

The mats took care of that. -The taste is as good if not better. The meat is more moist/juicy never dry. -I use to always grill on the lowest heat setting, with the mats I needed to turn up the gas 1/2 for a similar cooking time frame.

-You still get grill marks if that’s your thing. I personally I like to cook the meat only the mats and at the end. Remove the mats and throw the juicy meat directly only the grill to seal the juice and flavor in and get the defined grill marks everyone wants.

A work buddy described cooking on his mat and I was skeptical. But, he actually undersold how good it really is. I had replaced my grates a few months ago and did not cook on them before using my new mat.

I’ve cooked probably 15 times since and my grates still look brand new by using the mat. Plus, the food gets cooked just as thoroughly and quickly as without a mat. and it does leave grill marks. Cleaning the mat after use involves normal washing in the kitchen sink with dish soap and a sponge and if you get a little splatter on the grates while cooking, a little spray of water/ammonia and a paper towel after the grill cools provides quick clean up.

I bought the Yoshi copper grill mat. I used it abot 3 times and this one, the KONA I used once. These yp eo mf mats are bestr used on a gas grill. I boght mine mailnly for fish. I have not tried veggies yeat, but I have seen them on video.

One of these days I will try it. I cooked fish on medium heat not the lowest. Also the thickness is not advertised and one makes a choice whether to keep it or not. I bought min eabout 8yrs ago and wreck it.

This is not my first set of grilling mats. The first ones were black and worked great. They were hard to clean up. This is my second set of “copper” color mats. They clean up a lot better. After grilling I just scrape the remains off the edge of the mat while hot and it is clean.

About every 4th use, I take them inside and scrub them in the sink with soap and water to clean off all the gunk. After 18 months of weekly use, they wore out so I got new ones. I put the old ones under the grill on the grill collection plate to do a quick and easy clean up of spilled particles off the grill.

They dissipate the heat evenly, do leave grill marks on meat, and do not have any fire flare-ups due to grease or fat leaking onto the fire. I can do mushroom, veggies, or shrimp with no fear of anything falling through the grates.

The food can cook/grill in its own juices which adds to the flavor. Best thing since the grill.

My husband loves to grill but sometimes there are foods that like to fall through the grates or stick to them. We don’t like to spray anything on the grates as it seems to attract pests once the grill is closed up for next use.

We saw these advertised and since the price was affordable, decided to try them. Works great and I can toss in the dishwasher after use and the grates are good to go for the next grilling. Highly recommend for the busy griller.

Learning to use my new grill, I wanted a bit of help keeping hamburgers from being able to break and fall to the underworld. These mats are great. Cut one down to fit the top rack of the grill. One fits almost perfectly on half of the grill.

These grill mats arrived quickly. They’re large enough for multiple items to grill at once. They’re really easy to clean and dishwasher safe. You’ll still get grill marks on your food. As well.

I was skeptical when I purchased these. I figured, what the heck? Has to be better than cleaning the grill all the time. These work great! Appear to be quite durable. I’ve BBQ’d chicken breasts with just a little sticking, pork chops and fish with no sticking at all.

Clean up is easy. I just wait until the mat cools, rinse with water via the sink spray nozzle and wipe clean with a paper towel. Couldn’t be easier. I’ve recommended them to both my sons and co-workers who BBQ.

Love having more ‘Blackstone’ displayed out in my cooking area and enjoy cooking on this. I wish it was a little more durable though. The paint in the logo comes off easy and the rubber rips easily.

Very Nice Quality Mat. (Use with my 36″ Blackstone with Lid/Cover) I wish Weber would copy this for their grills instead of what they use. This Mat helps keep the floor area clean and less drip mess on the deck or patio area while cooking.

Maybe it was my fault (though I read the directions completely) but after using two of these on my small grill to grill steaks, I found that they had become welded together. I had the heat set at medium (we like our steaks medium well) and at most the heat was on for maybe 20 minutes.

When I attempted to clean them after they had cooled down enough to handle, however, I found that they were literally sealed together where they had overlapped. I attempted to remove them but it just pulled the black silicone coating off.

I ended up throwing them out after one use. Since then I’m using $6 cheap silicone mats in the same way and haven’t had a single issue. I did like that these mats were more generously sized than most others.

First time using since bought product, very disappointing the black stuff comes off and sticks to the meat we had to scrape it off, the mat is not worth it at all. Hopefully the black stuff is not toxic it was hard to make sure it all came off food.

I did not purchase this item, yet. But I visited my son when he was camping and he had these. They are amazing! The grills at the campsites are filthy and have large gaps, so if not careful your food falls through into the fire.

With the mat, the steaks and hot dogs never touched the grill and the gaps was covered. Yahoo!.

Silicone sheets have become ubiquitous in pretty much every cooking process over the past decade. Part of their attraction is the novelty of submitting a flexible material to harsh conditions and seeing it emerge unscathed (not to mention doing something useful for your food).

The Cuisinart Non-Stick Reusable Grilling Sheet captures this kind of attractiveness. I have used accessories ranging from a smoker box to a “beer can” chicken roaster with my Weber Genesis grill over the past 12 years, and I can testify that they all become either hard to clean or lose their non-stick coatings.

These sheets (you receive a pack of 2 with this kit) are an alternative to those tough metal utensils. This is a thin, flexible silicone sheet with an engraved shiny surface that repels fluids. A single sheet covered two of the three burners on my grill, with about 4 inches on each side.

The three big benefits claimed by Cuisinart for this product are: 1. It allows you to grill a wider range of foods and get the “grill marks” of direct grilling; 2. Food doesn’t stick to the sheet; 3.

The sheet is dishwasher safe and fully reusable. I accepted that it would be possible to grill eggs or fish (one impossible on the grill without a fry pan, the other very difficult because of its delicate nature) using these sheets.

But I was intrigued by the “grill marks” claim, so I broke out a package of chicken thighs and gave it a try. Thighs are relatively fatty, and one of the things that a grill does well is render the fat so that it suffuses into the meat while the excess drips off.

I found that a grilling sheet interfered with this process. Following Weber’s general directions, I cooked the thighs over direct medium heat. The result: because fat and juices stayed on the sheet, the cooked thighs looked and tasted more like they had been sauteed or even braised.

While they were very moist, the flavor had become diffused. Grilling, by contrast, tends to concentrate flavor as it sears the food. There were a couple of tentative stripes on the thighs, but you wouldn’t mistake this for actual grilled chicken.

On the positive side, there was absolutely no tendency for the food to stick to the sheet. All juices simply puddled up and stayed in place. I rinsed the sheet off, put it in the top rack of the dishwasher, and it came out as though it had never been used for cooking.

I can picture these Cuisinart grilling sheets having a definite place in my outdoor cooking. I only recommend them for foods that would otherwise fall through the grate or are very delicate. Otherwise, I wouldn’t sacrifice searing heat and amazing flavor for a marginally easier clean-up.

I have been using the grill sheets since the summer began. We cleaned the grill and started using a sheet every time we grilled. After dinner, the grill has cooled, so I take the sheet, put it in the sink and clean it off.

Then we reuse it. You can cook on both sides so if one side seems too used, just turn it over. We get less fire flareups and still get those grill lines on the meat. I recommend the black instead of the copper because the copper shows stains more easily.

We haven’t had to clean the grill itself very often and even then, it just needs a wiping down, not a scrubbing. I also don’t have to worry about getting those little iron fibers from the cleaning utensils on my grill and possibly in my food.

I feel the grill sheets are safer. I have put them in the dishwasher. Just an extra hint: I cut a grill sheet and put it on the bottom of my toaster oven. Cleanup is a breeze.

I have tried other grilling sheets that were not name brand. It seems to be a fad right now and tons of companies are producing them (or just having their logo slapped on mass produced sheets, all by the same manufacturer).

The other ones that I tried were a tad more stiff and just slightly thicker – we’re talking maybe a millimeter or so, so nothing too drastic. Several years ago the silicone baking sheets were the big thing and these grilling sheets are pretty much the same thing.

I do love my silicone baking sheets, which I have been using for years, and likewise I really like using the grilling sheets. As for performance, they all (all brands) do the same thing. allow you to cook on them and keep a clean grill while not having to mess with aluminum foil either.

They are super easy to clean and the food pretty much slides right off. It won’t stick to the mats like it might to the foil or bare grill plates. I like these Cuisinart mats a bit more than the other brand since they are thinner and more pliable which makes them a tad easier to work with and transport food on.

You can just grab the edges and pull them up together and carry almost like a basket. The bad thing about all grill mats is that while you do still get the grill marks, you don’t get all of the grill flavor.

The mats act as a bit of a barrier to the true grilled flavor. Food still tastes good, of course, but you can tell it is just slightly different. We mostly grill Porterhouse and NY Strip steaks, as well as boneless chicken breasts.

Our spring, summer and fall meals are pretty much just these 3 types of meat – boring, yes, but yummy. Usually it is on foil sprayed with non stick spray. The process is so much simpler with the mats since there is no prepping the grill with foil and no use of the spray.

If you’re totally into the true grilled flavor, you may not be willing to trade off the convenience for the flavor. I do not find it that much different to make me not want to use the mats, in the case of boneless chicken and steaks.

It is a bit different though when it comes to hot dogs, sausage, or bone-in chicken parts. I prefer more of the grilled flavor with those. Overall, they are a great product and I would recommend at least trying them out with different foods and see how you like them.

I think most will find them to be beneficial for certain foods and definitely a time saver and quicker prep/cleanup for all foods, whether meats or veggies. They are worth the small cost and should last forever.

According to GrillTex their mats are deeper than most competitive mats. My husband likes the fact that it has a unique front lip to provide extra protection against drips and spills in front of the main grilling surface (that feature is specifically for me) , the area most prone to drips and spills where food is loaded and removed from the grill.

My husband likes the fact that the mat is very durable and heavy duty, yet roll easily for handling and storage (it will last a long time). GrillTex Grill Mats have a 1-year limited warranty against failure due to manufacturing defects.

It’s very easy to clean (which is another point my husband likes) by rinsing off with a garden hose or soap and water, however he was extremely disappointed about the mat being so thin. Although it has the measurements on the package, he was disappointed that it was so small (I think they come larger sizes).

We would recommend this product only because the price is right, it does everything they say it would do and it is easy to store and clean but it’s much too thin.

I purchased my Zgrill 7000E in February 2020. I use it 2-3 times a week. I was new to Smoking. It has exceeded all expectations. I have followed the manual instructions with not one issue. I have smoked pork butts, ribs, briskets, nachos, queso dip, hamburgers, reverse sear steaks, vegetables all were the best ever.

I wouldn’t trade my Zgrill. Since purchasing my Zgrill, I have purchased accessories including the complete cleaning package, grill mat, and cast iron griddle. All products are high quality and work as described.

I had a question on how to use the cast iron griddle. I emailed Zgrill around 1pm and by 5pm received a reply including a link to a video answering my question. Great customer service. I couldn’t be more please with the Zgrill and all of the accessories.

Hey sorry to have to write a negative review, but the mat falls a little below my expectations. The problem is that the material is so thin and light weight, it simply blows up and wraps itself in all kinds of ways around the wheels and my grill.

Its just too light weight and is constantly buckling and tripping me. The last thing I need is a tripping hazard that close to where I am grilling. I love everything else about my z Grills experience and I will continue to buy accessories as the need presents.

Good quality. As described. I have 3, one for each grill. Gas charcoal and pellet. Just disappointing that zgrill account holders pay more vs Amazon. Sold by shrills in both places.

Everything was packaged great. Assembly was easy. Burn in went perfect and I know we’re going to love the grill. The cover fits perfect and the mat is excellent quality as well. I’ve used lots of the Recteq Ultimate Blend pellets in my Bullseye and they are my favorite of the pellets I’ve tried.

Customer service has gone above and beyond when I’ve called them. You just can’t go wrong with Recteq.

Grill pad is great looking, easy to clean, and very, very durable. Not to mention it is a thick pad. Super high Qaulity compared to my other branded mats. Has ridges on the bottom part as well to allow air flow under the mat.

I was hoping this mat was something more than it is. This is a 3/16” or so hard mat. It gives little other than spill support. For the price is would rather go get a cushioned mat that would be the same size or larger.

This is not “Premium” it’s just ehh….

Well constructed! Well it is a hunk of rubber that goes under a grill and catches spills. LOL. I needed one to fit under a double charcoal/gas grill. Fit perfectly.

I expected it to be thicker. Pictures do not match the product. Still it works fine for what I need and the price I paid. If it was more expensive I would have been more upset

The Miracle Grill Mat is a awesome product, meats, fish and vegetables cook evenly, with grille marks

Fish & veggies are great on this mat, I use it for steaks & chops also, saves you from cleaning the grill all the time.

This product does not make grill marks on the food at all, not sure if i did something wrong. if you add butter onto your veggies it does not grill much on the mat. It was more of a pan cooked effect than grilling.

There was not much of a grill taste to the veggies either as the matt blocks the smoke from the charcoal to come through. I still use it to make sandwiches on the fire, it works well for that and prevents the cheese from dripping into the fire.

The grill mats work so much better than I expected. I bought them to grill my veggies on the grill without them falling through or using one of those horrible veggie baskets. These mats hae changed my grilling game.

The veggies come out perfect, and I am grilling fish and chicken on them. SO MUCH BETTER.

I’m giving it two stars because at the very least it will protect from spatters and food dropping getting on your deck. However, that is about all it does. This mat is VERY thin and anything more than bits of food or the occasional grease/oil spattering will soak right through it.

For example, we had a small vial of olive oil tip over and land on it and it soaked right through and stained the deck. It is also difficult to properly position your grill on this mat because it likes to slide and wrinkle under the grill’s legs/wheels.

Save your money and get something made of a better material that is sturdier/thicker if you have anything other than a tiny outdoor grill.

Bought for my husband because he hates to clean the grill. Meats are cooked as on teflon with no sticking. Comes as a 2pack and are easily washed.

It works well! Keeps the food from falling between the grates and is cleaner that putting food on grates.

I bought this as I often cook chicken wings on the BBQ & they are fiddly to manage and also fat/marinade falls onto the charcoal & flares up. Being aware that other people had complained that this & similar products looked burned & were difficult to clean after use, I was careful to avoid them being too close to the charcoal & when the BBQ was very hot.

Everything cooked really well. I had the same BBQ taste but it was much easier to manage. Once I had finished, a quick wash returned them to the condition that they were when I received them. I will be using them every time from now on.

If they do look scorched or otherwise affected after a few uses, they are cheap enough to buy replacements from time to time.

I didnt know what to expect with these and did expect them to end up as shrivelled up bits of plastic and in the bin after first use. Well I was wrong, they are absolutely great, you put them on your BBQ and place your food on top and it doesnt stick and cooks without that problem of leaving half of it stuck to the grills.

Your BBQ stays clean and you just lift off the sheets and wash them ready for next time. I have used these a lot now and have cooked many meals on them and although they are now a little discoloured as you would expect, they are still going strong and are still non stick.

This is one of those items you dont hear about very often, but it is one that I have found to be essential if you use a BBQ, even if it only lasts for one summer I would purchase them again and again.

Very very good, cooks food perfectly without sticking to grill or hot plate, if the food starts to disintegrate like tuna or salmon it keeps it all in one place, also veg like bean shoots can be cooked without using the wok.

Less splashing of oil and no flame ups as al the juices stay on the mat. Cleaning afterwards is really easy in warm soapy water and barbecue just needs a light wipe over, no scrubbing grills or hot plates or cleaning out the flame shield.

We now use the barbecue much more often than before because it only takes minutes to clean now. A very simple idea that works.
