20 Best Grill Brush For Weber (2023 Updated)

A Grill brush is supposed to safely and easily clean your BBQ grill. This one doesn’t. It’s straight and flat. May look cool, but when your knuckles are at the same level as the grill (because the brush handle is not angled!) that puts you in contact with possibly very hot grates! So you raise your hand and angle the brush down to do what would have happened had the handle been angled – but now you’re only using the very front end of the bristles.

So soon, you have a brush with totally worn bristles at the top end of the brush, and the back 3/4’s of it are hardly touched! Now go but another one – much sooner than you should have had to! No thanks!!!.

This is a replacement for my old tool which lasted many years. Its just a good tool for cleaning your grill with its brush and scraper. I went to the internet to find one because my local stores do not have anything close.

I used this brush three times over a two week period. The third time half the bristles fell out! I have a Weber BBQ and love it so I thought this would be a solid buy…it wasn’t! Weber did send a replacement so I’ll see how this goes.

Very functional, effective brush but could stand improvement with the addition of a scraper or tool at the end to facilitate grate movement or removal of more stubborn deposits.

This has a good strong handle and is comfortable in the grip. The bristles don’t work as well being as soft as they are. It’s a decent brush but there are better ones.

Well constructed but not well designed. This tool is not long enough to be safe working over a hot grill.

I used this grill brush for the first time the other day to remove baked-on steak remains from a previous grilling. After heating up the grill to about 450 degrees Fahrenheit and brushing it, I was impressed at how easily and quickly my grill was clean again.

The grate on my grill is the smooth, round, stainless steel type, and I suspect this brush would work well on the cast-iron or other rough-surfaced grates. As with using any wire-brush type of grill brush, however, I will carefully inspect the grill after brushing it for any bristles that might come off and possibly get on the food.

I’ve used just about every kind of grill brush there is over the last 45 years, and until now they’ve all been about the same. They do the job well enough to get by, but you really needed to be on the lookout for loose bristles on your food.

Well those days are over. I just love the Grillaholics Bristle-Free Grill Brush! It does an amazing job cleaning my grill with absolutely no loose bristles in our food. The scraper blade cleans between, and under the grill bars while the brush gets off the toughest stuck on bits that are on the grill.

I’m totally happy with this brush. I even bought brushes for my father-in-law, and my son-in-law so they could enjoy them too.

The coiled spring steel bristles make cleaning the grill grates easy, with the added benefit of not to having to worry about those nasty single wire bristles breaking off and possibly getting caught up in whatever it is that you’re grilling.

The coiled spring gets in between the grates and surprisingly, nothing seems to get stuck in the coils. This is my second grilling season with the grill brush, and it has not shown any wear at all. It is definitely a ‘keeper’.

Just received it this weekend. Found its design as advertized, Cleaned in-between the grates effectively with minimal effort. One suggestion, one concern. suggestion; make the stem of the unit longer.

Cleaning the grates hot as Weber suggests requires oven mits to be worn, and it places the plastic handle precariously close to the grates. My only concern, the longivity of the wire bristles. Appears they took a “beating” after the first use, leaving to believe they may not “hold-up” for the log term.

On a completely unrelated note, thank you weber for designing and building an amazing grill. This is my second, the first one lasted nearly 20yrs !!!!!.

I have used this brush once on my new Genesis (2022) grill with stainless steel grates. I have 20 years experience grilling 3-4 times a week. I did a 15 minute highest temp burn off and the brush extension wand bends too much to get solid force for scraping the soot off.

I let the grill cool to the touch and went back over it with a nonscratch Scotch Brite pad. so much BETTER!.

I purchased this brush when I bought a new grill. I previously had the wood-handled grill brush and wasn’t really happy with that one. I felt that when I used the wood-handled brush only the first 1/3 of the bristles cleaned the grate and could get pretty nasty.

I picked this one because with the thinner bristle section and thinner handle I expected that the brush would perform better and not get so dirty so quickly. Unfortunately, the metal between the handle and the brush is fairly flexible so it’s difficult to apply much pressure when cleaning the grate.

It works alright but I have to do a lot of passes and at a lot of different angles to clean well. I was a bit disappointed. Most of the other Weber products I use have been phenomenal.

looks and performs well , good brand name, for flat cast iron grates the scraper works well, and the brush doesnt flatten out for me so far. dont get a cheapie , as the bristles can come out, get in your food and stick in your mouth or get in your body, ive read about that, and its not good.

use a quality brush. !!!!.

My KitchenAide grill recommends “brass” only brushes. (Steel is too abrasive and ruins the grate. ) This is one of the few brass brushes available and is reasonably priced. It works great, cleans easily, no complaints.

The brush is well-made, but there are large spaces between the clumps of bristles. The large gaps make the brush much less effective at cleaning than another brush I have with the bristles much closer spaced.

I recently got the Cuisinart Cross Action Grill Brush to try. The brush has a nice long handle that’s easy to get a good grip on so you can clean your grill. The brush head has metal wire pieces that scrape everything off your grill.

There is a metal scraper at the end of brush for the really hard stuff. You can actually pull of the brush head when the wires do not clean anymore. I have been able to get my grill good and clean with this brush without any problems.

Makes it nice to have my grill ready to use each time.

I love this cleaning brush and it replaced two brushes that I used before. It feels very solid and cuts right through grit on the grill. I have used it only once, since it’s getting chilly out, but can’t wait to start cooking more steaks for dinner and then all weekend long cook outs during playoff football.

It’s lightweight for how solid it is, definitely well built.

I bought this new cross action grill brush for my hubby! We always seem to find terrible brushes (that fall apart after a few uses). This one has been great! We have used it about 6 times so far and love it! The brush hasn’t bent up or fallen apart! We would highly recommend!.

It is a very durable brush. It has so many features. One of the is its handle. It is stainless steel but it doesn’t heat up, so it is not hot. The handle stays warm during usage. The temperature of the steel doesn’t go up, so it doesn’t burn hands.

Also, I personally like this type of handkerchief because I used to have another brush with wood handle. At first, I thought it would work better but in treasury the wooden part started to crack. The brush is easy to use.

It cleans very fast and reaches all areas including corners.

So far my husband is very happy with this grill brush. We usually grill about once or twice a week and so far it cleans very well. My husband also likes the look of it as it goes well with his other grill accessories.

No signs of rusting or any issues with quality. Overall great brush for the price.

Received this brush and I’ve used it about 10 times total now and I am not entirely impressed. I have had a few other grill brushes and this one compared to those does not perform as well. The Bristles on the brush are short and are not very rigid when using it.

The durability seems great and is well built, just not a fan of the brush head.

Makes cleaning the Weber Grills a breeze! Such a simple yet efficient tool. The longer arm means you can scrape the grill from a safe distance without the risk of burning your hands. The bristles are of good quality and I expect this tool should last a good few years.

I really can’t think of a time in my entire life when I enjoyed receiving a product more. This brush, used correctly, can literally perform any task it is assigned. Buy groceries, walk the dog, heal the sick, and save the alligator faced musk bird, endangered in so many regions.

Confining this brush to cleaning alone is a SIN! A SIN I SAY!!! See this brush for what it really is, the savior humanity has so long waited. Love, Stink Dunkelman.

I don’t really get this brush. The design has nothing to do with the function except that it does have metal bristles. Due to the angle of the head, you can’t easily use the entire length of the cleaning bristles.

The narrow tip does not fit between my grate bars as I had hoped, and now I’m not quite sure how to use it. Compared to the other square headed brushes I’ve had in the past, this one is not recommended.

It doesn’t have a scraper blade but does have a nice hanging thong for your tool hooks. I’m told to beware of metal bristles that can become dislodged and swallowed with your food if you’re not careful!.

Product works great. Have purchased four brushes, two for northern home/grill and two for our winter home/grill. Stainless steel “bristles” do much better than copper or any other material I’ve used in past.

I had a three headed brush. It worked great. Finally wore it out bought this one. It is not as good or durable as the three headed one. You keep making thing less quality. Stop it. Disappointed.

Works great for cleaning between the s/s rods my grates are made of. Nooks and crannies are easier to access than my larger brush. Around the ends of my grates where the cross rods connect also are easier to clean.

Bristles so far are not coming loose.

This is a quality brush. It is, and will be used exclusively to clean Weber Q Burner Tubes. I use a separate brush on the cooking grates.

So all the mass media marketing worked and I bit the bullet and bought one even though I’ve been grilling for 40 plus years without incident. Since I usually “burn off” my grill at the end so there is very little to clean.

That being said the grill rescue does do a very good job of cleaning. I did find that getting to the sides of the grates is not as effective as a wire brush and I did melt part of the front handle in doing so.

I take full responsibility for that and can’t blame the product. That being said, the handle has great weight to it and the stainless steel scraper is solid. The one that came from Walmart has the attachment to hang from a grill hook.

On the GR site they actually charge and extra $9. 95 for that so that’s an added benefit from purchasing from Walmart instead of from the site. The aramid covering seems to be holding up well so far and I have cleaned it a few times in the dishwasher already.

I think the quality of this product is there. I have recommended it to family and friend’s but have told them about the side cleaning issue. The trade off of knowing that you will never accidentally ingest a wire bristle is worth a little left over gunk on the side.

If you work the head the proper way you can achieve get to the side but just not the way a wire brush can and that’s just the difference between a solid head vs. an columnar flexible head. Bottom line is if you are concerned about bristles falling off and potentially getting in your food, it’s worth the extra $20 compared to a decent wire brush.

Works great to clean grill grates. Better than any other brush I’ve used. I’ve purchased three. Two for gifts after they saw how well mine worked. I couldn’t get the head off two of the brushes. We were able to get the head off the third brush.

The third brush didn’t have the hole in the end of the handle so was a little different. It’s so easy to use and clean the grates. Hopefully, they manufacture ones you can remove the head on in the future.

Planning on ordering two more for gifts.

Unfortunately I had to throw this away after only 1 use. This tool is basically a cloth sponge attached to a plastic handle. After wetting the sponge and heating up my grill I could see cloth fibers falling off.

I ran my finger across the sponge and sure enough, I had fibers all over my finger. I don’t know what this thing is made of but I do not wish to ingest cloth fibers or potentially have them get stuck in my throat, so I threw the whole thing away.

I succumbed to my daughter’s internet-fueled “Bristle brushes will kill us all” hysteria (and my old bristle brush was worn slap out anyways) so I bought one of these. The first time I used it, I was absolutely shocked at how well it worked.

and continues to work. It’s also heavier than expected and appears to be of good quality.

This grate scraper is amazing! Works sooo much better than the old bristle brush I had before! This brush is very sturdy in construction and the handle length is just right to keep my hands away from the heat! You will not regret the purchase.

This is the mother of all grill brushes. It’s heavy and well thought out. The best part is no metal bristles that can dislodge and possible make it into your food. I was hoping it would be a decent grill cleaner when I bought it but I felt like I hit the jackpot when I opened it.

Long handle makes life easy and the material is easy to clean.

Compared to those many Made in China grill scraper brush that is bald after so much wear and tear, finally a great healthier made in USA brush scraper that is a quality product. Totally impressed and bought a second one.

The scraper blade was missing from the brush. The slot for the blade was empty. The effort to return or exchange in person during this public health crisis may not be worth it.

This is a very well-made and stylish bbq brush. The bristles are very compact and it works great.
