20 Best Grill Basket For Vegetables (2023 Updated)

I bought two of these baskets when I bought my new Weber Genesis II s-435 grill, which has a large cooking area. It is perfect for my grill. So far I just use one basket on the grill at a time. I usually place a basket on the side of the grilling area toward the front of the grill, and I still have some cooking area behind the basket at the rear of the grill for say ears of corn (can fit two ears behind, but due to basket height is slightly less visible and accessible, which is why I use the area behind the basket for grilling corn or a larger item more easily grabbed with tongs).

I have also placed a basket on the side of the grilling area and toward the rear of the grill, and I still have some cooking area in front of the basket the the front of the grill (allows more visibility and accessibility to smaller things in front of the basket due to the basket’s deep sides.

then you can use the space for a few brats or other small items). I may get the smaller one at some point, but this product is great so far.

We have a Smokey Joe Weber grill, and use this basket to grill salmon fillets. It fits 2 which works for us. I love that it is made from high quality stainless steel, so I don’t have to worry about toxic chemicals leaching into food or coatings chopping off.

These are great for doing basket grilling of almost anything. I use it for vegies, meats and seafood. Just shake the food up in olive oil and put in basket. Place on hot grill and eat awesomeness.

I like this grilling basket. The non-stick coating works well and the distance between the weave of the metal is small enough for onions, carrots, peppers or other vegetables not to fall through. I like using this to cook onions and other vegetables for toppings on sizzler steaks.

These grilling pans fit perfectly on my Weber Electric Grill. The gril pan is large enough so the cover can close, it holds 4 large pieces of fish and most importantly they cook quickly and come out with a nice golden brown color.

I did as other reviewers suggested and oiled the pan and lightly basted the fish with oil and seasoning. The fish was absolutely delish. Clean up with the pads enclosed was easy. I left it to soak in hot soapy water for a bit and then it was a breeze to clean.

Other reviewers had said the pan warped while cooking but mine didn’t. So grateful another reviewer mentioned that he used these on his camping excursions and mentioned the grill. Could ask for more.

We live in an area where we can use our grill nearly every night throughout the year. We often want to grill vegetables with our main dish. They trays are perfect for smaller items! They’re not too thick and clean up super easy.

The quality is excellent, it retains heat without over heating due to the thickness and quantity of the metal. The size is perfect for cooking 2-3 servings and you can cook more than one size at a time since you get 3 small pans, they easily fit on my Oklahoma joe, while drilling meat.

You are supposed to rest this hot metal basket on a hot grill and spin it manually? what a joke. I ASS-U-MED there would be holes for a rotisserie.

We love to cook out and this is such an easy way to cook fresh veggies. It should get alot of use.

I have both the large version and the small version and have used them for 8 years. Absolutely love them and picking one up for my son. I use them exclusively for grilling fish. Use some spray oil and you really shouldn’t have any problems with sticking once seasoned.

The small holds about 1. 5 pounds of fish. The large closer to 2. 5 to 3 pounds. I have tried using these for vegetables but can say it’s not the right tool mainly due to mesh not being fine enough. Recommend buying a pair of welding gloves to handle.

Used a half dozen times with a half of a whole salmon fillet, no sticking. It helps to pat dry the fillet on both sides, then spray the basket with cooking oil. Also, preheat the basket on the grill before you place the fish inside.

Same concept with cooking meat in a cold pan. Took one star away because the hinge wont accommodate larger pieces and still let you close the latch. In that case, I manually hold it close wearing grilling gloves when flipping the basket.

We’ve had this for 4-5 years and use it regularly for fish — probably weekly in the summertime. Have not had much of an issue with fish sticking, though we do oil the fish lightly on both sides before putting it in the basket.

Basket makes flipping the fish and moving it from hotter to cooler regions very simple. Cleanup is easy if you let the grill do the work — char all the left-on bits of fish, and then use the grill brush while basket it still on the hot grill to brush it clean.

Works well when used properly, but I guess it may take a bit of learning.

Overall, I would give this roasting basket an 8. 75 out of 10. So far, I’ve used this basket to grill some chopped sweet potatoes, as well as a pepper/onion medley. The vegetables cooked great/evenly, and for the most part, cleanup was fairly simple.

I will say, the first time I used this, I had oiled/seasoned the pepper/onion medley, and I did not put foil underneath. I would recommend putting foil underneath whatever it is you’re cooking to facilitate quick cleanup (I needed to use a wired sponge to really get everything off).

The divots in the basket will cut up your regular sponge. But I do like that it’s dishwasher safe. The only other downside I see is price. Otherwise, this is a great addition for my Weber Genesis.

Well, this is the best roasting basket I have ever used. First of all, it made of great material, nothing sticks to it, doesn’t get too messy, super easy to clean in the dishwasher. Second of all and probably the most important it comes out super delicious.

The basket is perfect for vegetables: they come out juicy, tender, not burned out. It is pretty spacious, so I managed to put pieces of meat on it too. I like that it doesn’t dry the meat out and doesn’t make meat too greasy.

Overall, perfect basket for roasting that allows to make such tasty, joyful meals.

Weber crafted Roasting basket is great must have accessory along with Weber crafted Frame kit for Weber grill. It’s easy to fit with compatible Weber Grills. Quality of the basker is very good. It’s quite large which means I can cook veggies in good amount for bigger group in one go.

Heat is evenly distributed on the basket. There is no chance of falling veggies from the basket, so worry free BBQing/Grilling. Cleaning of the basket is very easy and it’s dishwasher safe too.

This is the best basket for cooking outside. I put everything in the basket and place it on the grill. I shake it a little snd no muss no fuss. Dinner is served with little clean up! a true time saver and delicious!.

I recently purchased this grill basket, and it arrived in great condition. It is larger and heavier than I anticipated for the price, which is good, too. I can’t wait to use it! No more kabobs with tomatoes falling off of the ends!.

Just received this grill basket. Looks great, but just one flaw – one of the four corners of the basket’s small diamond shaped fasteners had fallen off and another is only 1/2 fixed to it. The other two look like they will last if it does not receive any rough treatment.

The manufacturer needs to know.

This is an amazing grill basket, I use it all the time and haven’t had any problems what so ever. Just put your veggies in the basket and grill away without burning your produce. It’s very easy to use and as well easy to clean.

This did not work for me at all. Vegetables and fish don’t fit securely and slide around, especially when trying to flip the basket over. The rings holding the grates move around and you can’t put smaller items in it at all.

Very disappointed especially given the price.

Just used this to grill two whole branzino stuffed with lemon and herbs. Worked perfectly. There was enough compression to keep the Fish in place when I flipped it.

I splurged on this not expecting much. It is smaller in size, but large enough to fit food for 2-4 people in my world. It cleans up well and handles the gas grill just fine. Glad I purchased it.

Designed to be used on a Traeger, yet it bows when it heats up! Ridiculous!! Too thin, cheaply made, very difficult to clean, and just not worth the money (in my opinion). Traeger should be ASHAMED of putting the Traeger name on a cheap, made in China piece of trash such as this! Please do NOT waste your money!.

With Traeger being such a high dollar item, why did they put glue around the paper band that comes on this item? I used a paint scraper trying to get if all off and couldn’t. I am not into veggies and glue.

Cuisinart 4-in-1 BBQ Basket is a very handy product and I was happy to use it. I was able to barbecue my chicken legs and wing without them sticking to the grill using the holders. Grilled some vegetables at the same time.

I used the ribs racks and my ribs were cooked perfectly, moist and delicious. I intend to flip the basket and give barbecuing a whole chicken a try. There are so many ways this basket can be used for grilling all kinds of meats.

Originally purchased this grill basket for my parents, and they loved it! Years later, they’re still using it. I recently purchased one for ourselves after buying a grill and couldn’t be happier. It’s a great option for chopping up veggies and throwing them on the grill.

I bought this so I could grill peppers and onions for fajitas without them falling through the grate. However using this basket, the vegetables didn’t cook very well. Maybe I put too many in there and if that’s the case, it would take several batches to get everything cooked.
