20 Best Goggles For Night Skiing (2023 Updated)

Waited until I had some time to use these thoroughly. Just got back from a week of resort and backcountry skiing in northern New England, and these performed very well. Did several lense changes without issue (sometimes have to use thumb to force the latch to click in place, would be nice if was a little more “smooth”).

Minimal to no fogging. Nice wide, long strap fits over my XL helmet well. No visual distortion from the Orange Blaze or Clear lenses (except the Orange does distort flesh color – makes everyone look pasty white / grey – not a big deal unless you’re ski patrol I guess).

Overall very nice goggles.

These goggles are very comfortable, provide a great field of vision, and the changeable lenses are awesome. The only bad thing is the clips that hold the lenses in are hard to get back into place on one side of my lenses.

Could just be my pair. The other side works great, but I can see how they would be finicky. These fit well with a helmet and were very comfortable though. I have the sapphire lenses that came with my goggles and I could see while night boarding with lights on, However I did order clear ones as well.

Great product overall.

While the price is certainly attractive, these goggles run extremely small. My husband wears glasses and specifically bought these goggles to fit over them. He could not get his glasses inside. As soon as I opened up the package, I knew these were not going to fit.

A bummer of a xmas present. Have to return. These will not fit over men’s glasses and larger heads/faces. I don’t know about the quality, having not been tested outside. They seem flimsy compared to expensive goggles, of course.

You get what you pay for.

I wear smallish (but not tiny) rectangular wire-framed glasses, and these goggles fit fairly well over them. (It helped to put foam cushions on the nose pieces, and to looses the straps as much as possible.

) There is a little more room inside the goggles, but any larger glasses and you’d have to carve into the foam to get a decent fit. Still, these goggles are a bargain compared to the $100+ goggles they replace – those were an even tighter fit.

Just keep in mind that even though these goggles look huge, they won’t fit large eyeglasses well.

I’ve never owned goggles before, but I wear glasses and wear a facemask in the cold and my glasses get fogged up. These seem a little big, but man oh man does my face feel warm. I haven’t yet had the opportunity to try them when the temps are in the teens or single digits but look forward to putting them through the test.

I don’t ski but rather prefer to wear these when I walk to the bus stop in the cold. I also work in a downtown area and have to walk between buildings, so wearing these will make the short walks more tolerable when it’s super cold out.

I like the fact that these came in a nice little pouch as well and had a removable protective layer to peel off before using. For under $20, these seem like a really good value.

I wear a pair of prescription glasses with automatic photo grey lenses, so a clear otg goggle is what Ive been using for day or night skiing. These goggles were much less expensive than Smith, Scott or Bolle, so I bought them only to find they didn’t fit over my glasses.

Too narrow and short, and I don’t wear big glasses. Not a total loss, my son can wear them for night skiing. I will say, they seem like good quality, and were delivered quickly but, thats it. So, now Im waiting for my new Scott goggles to arrive from a different company.

These particular goggles look really cool with the gray / silver reflective lens. However, they do not fit over my glasses. I think I have the average head of a grown man, but my classes were 1/2 inch too wide for the goggles.

I am a 42 year old man, 6 foot 3, average weight.

The picture is a bit misleading. Vermilion (sometimes spelled vermillion) is both a brilliant red or scarlet pigment, originally made from the powdered mineral cinnabar, and the corresponding color. The picture makes them appear gold, but they are not.

You cannot use these for driving, if you had wanted to. I bought them to pair with my COVID-19 mask, since they are saying covering your eyes is recommended. They are immensely comfortable and fit nicely over my glasses and they do not keep me from seeing in the low light of Home Depot where I recently wore them.

I will start this review by saying three things, I have a bigger than normal head, i wear glasses and these are the first pair of goggles I bought. For the price I could not have been happier. These held up really well in extreme conditions -40c and I had no major problems.

I found these to be a tad tight for my face at times and while there wasn`t a major annoyance i could sort of feel my glasses wearing these. Likewise when I took these off, often my glasses would fall.

That being said you can try these on in store so you can know right away if they will fit before you buy them. I believe the next decent pair of goggles was around $60-75 which I didn`t want to spend as I don`t use these`that often.

Bottom line: Buy these if you have a small face or only need these for a short duration of time. If I were to wear these daily, or more often I would of spent more money. For the price I paid I`m extremely satisfied.

Consider buying a neoprene mask as well to ensure a “no fog“.

My daughter is 6. 5 years old. she can still fit some size 5’s. size 6 fits well so she probably average sized. The goggles with the strap fully tightened fits perfectly around her youth Smith Optics helmet.

I would guess that these goggles will fit an average sized kid 6 to 10 years since there is a lot of adjustment in the strap. the goggles are too big right now, but that’s ok. They fill the helmet opening and cover everything around the eyes that is not covered by the helmet.

This probably causes them to fog more that they should. Plus she is literally just learning to ski and doesn’t get going fast increase airflow. The fogging issue was easily solves with a spray and a micro fiber glass cleaning cloth.

I took a risk guess ng the size. But it worked out well. She can grow into them. The quality is great so she’ll have them for a long time.

They are great when it’s cold outside and protect your eyes from the glare and the freezing cold. My husband uses these at work when he has to go outside and spend some time in the cold freezing air.

Without them his eye started to burn and he has troubles. Now he wear these and they seem to do the job. They are comfortable and you can adjust them to size.

They seem like a really good deal but when you get them they’re poor quality. The phone is so thin that if you wear these all day it’s going to hurt your face. Sorry to have to leave a poor review I was very excited about them not worth returning them I’ll keep them as backup.

My 8 month old no longer has fevers. She isn’t crabby or fussy. She’s happy and in a great mood. I was worried that she’d mess with the necklace once she began to wear it, but she doesn’t even notice it.

My girls were asking for the Roca goggles, while the cost was very reasonable I first went with the Cristo model. Those were very nice and insanely affordable. I then felt bad and got them the Rocas with some lenses.

I have to say the concept of switching lenses is awesome. I’ve been skiing my whole life and I always wanted a reflective lens but when I was younger I bought what I could afford. The reflective lenses back in the day were insanely expensive.

Now I have 4 pairs of goggles and 2 extra lenses I can swap out for the less than the price of 1 pair of reflective goggles back in the day. Thanks for realizing the issue with the price of goggles.

I’d say with these you get what you pay for. While they may not closely compare to smith’s I/O’s it’s at a fraction of the price. I have the Roca’s. I’m definitely hard on things and they have held up really well.

I pulled off just a little bit of foam maybe the size of a dime on the top part of the frame to let them breathe a little better. They hardly fog up now. Just ordered my wife a pair and an extra lens for mine.

Love how easy lens exchanging is. Solid and easy. Will continue to buy this product. Maybe not for you if you get really hot and sweaty skiing/boarding. For the price it was worth a try for me.

These Cristo Goggles were a value purchase for me, so I had relatively low expectations. But, wow, I was blown away! Excellent quality, fit and design. My last goggles were Smith’s and these are sooo much nicer than those for the price.

I also picked up some gloves from Wildhorn and there too I feel like I got huge “bang for the buck”. Last thing, I dealt with customer service for a return to get a different size on gloves and they were super easy and responsive.

I love the fit and finish of these goggles. They integrate well with my Smith Vantage helmet. Changing lenses is really easy. That being said, it’s good they are because the very first outing in the backcountry I got a few snow crystals on the inside of the lens.

I very carefully used the microfiber cloth to clean it and scratched the lens squarely in my field of view. I have never known goggles to be that weak to not even be able to clean them without leaving scratches.

This is a very disappointing criticism to have to make. I find it outrageous that for nearly $300 the product is this fragile. And at over $100 per lens I’m sure Smith is making money hand over fist on these.

I can recommend these to those who don’t mind dropping a lot of money not just once, but over and over, or to those who don’t plan to transition in anything but clear conditions. I plan to scour the internet for strategies on cleaning these without ruining them.

After many years away from Smith goggles, I figured I’d try them again. My previous experience was that far cheaper goggles successfully didn’t fog. Well with COVID requirements this year, I am constantly fogging, breaking one of my goggle rules of not messing with stuff under the goggle foam.

It takes so long to unfreeze then unfog! (Other rule – don’t touch a wet internal lens). The moisture condenses on the plastic at the top of the goggles frame, I think because the plastic is so thick.

Then I found that the moisture was also condensing and accumulating on the helmet where it meets the goggles, which is disappointing since Smith advertise integrated venting with their helmets and goggles for great venting.

I find this so frustrating because ‘lesser’ brands and their low end models have been so successful for me in never fogging. Initially, they were way too tight on my face, with the band extended all the way out.

That has eased substantially with use and I don’t even notice. The lenses are nice to look through, fairly easy to switch out once broken in, come with a really functional bag with a sleeve for the spare lens, but it seems like Smith need to look at their venting.

I was so excited about these?they’re GORGEOUS and the back clip is great?but they ultimately didn’t give me visibility on-par with my Anon WM1s. Ordered the White Vapor with the Everyday Rose Gold Mirror lens.

The IO Mag S field of vision is a bit wider than my Anons but *it’s shorter*, which I disliked. I also got nasty reflective interference in sunny conditions that limited visibility and ultimately made these a No (I didn’t ski with these but took them up to the mtn).

I also think the lens is too hard to change out?I worried I’d break something. If you’re skiing in total overcast and don’t care about seeing the tips of your skis or the front of your board when you ride, these may work for you.

Returned.

Exchanged for the XL size due to fitting issue. Replacement for a set of Briko goggles. Similar VLT rose colored lenses. Visibility is of similar quality regarding contrast and detail. Peripheral vision of the Oakley’s is better.

Plenty of snow, but the local area has shut down for the season. The XLs arrived after season closing. No chance to give them a real test under a variety of poor light conditions. For now 3 Stars. 4 stars if they provide, which they should similar performance to the Briko.

5 star if they last more than a couple seasons of use. Regarding fitting. The XL fit my flatter, high cheekbone face. The XMs had too tight a curvature resulting in uneven contact. Would still work, but for the price of these goggles expecting a very good fit.

Glad that Oakley provide that option.

I was binge watching Olympic ski racing this year, so when my super old goggles finally died (the elastic actually quit being elastic they were so old, I didn’t know that was a thing), I immediately started searching for goggles like Mikaela Shiffrin’s and I found great options on eco.

com. Our daughter’s goggles were also so old that hers stopped resisting fogging up (didn’t know that was a thing either) so we got her a cool new pair of eco goggles too. These new Oakley goggles are my favorite goggles! Finally, a quality pair of goggles that fit my adult smaller face size. These have a super clear warm tone lens that I like. My previous goggles all looked too giant on me.

The strap has a grippy inside so it stays secure on the helmet. I have had no fog issues at all. Thanks Oakley for making a perfect google for me. Thankyou EVO for being a Oakley dealer and having such a simple website to order from.

Love these goggles! Got them for a great price, which was the first advantage, but I also had been meaning to switch to goggles that had two lenses to satisfy different conditions on the slopes. So far these have been great.

The colors and design pop, and it looks great with the rest of my similarly colored snowboard/snow wear. The only thing that’s a little tough with these is switching out the lenses isn’t a super fast swap like magnetic ones.

It’s not so difficult that it’s a burden, but you definitely need to sit down with it for like 2-4 mins to swap, so I wouldn’t plan on trying to swap it out in the middle of a run. Just consider the conditions and install the lenses you want to use beforehand.

As for the fit, I’m Asian, but the bridge of my nose isn’t super low – it’s a bit higher so I took a risk, and it still fits okay! Just had to maneuver it so that my nose didn’t feel smushed, but overall, it fits nicely.

Would definitely recommend these goggles for anyone looking for a solid mid-tier setup that also meets different lighting and weather conditions.

These are great basic goggles with modern features and a reasonable price point. The optics are really good with the spherical ChromaPop lens and rimless design. At max length, the strap just fit over my XL helmet, and the rubber backing is really nice to keep them securely placed on the helmet.

One thing to note: if you’re going for the tall tee bro look, the clip on the back will make it pretty uncomfortable to wear these with the strap under your helmet. Additionally, the shape of the goggles fits well with my Smith Maze helmet.

They also fit my face well. I’m white with a large head and average size face, and I’d consider them to be medium size. Right in the sweet spot to give good visibility without being ostentatious. I did experience some minor fog on a hot day when standing still, but I found these to have exceptional venting which quickly cut fog once I got moving.

The only downside is that they don’t include any of the really fancy quick change lens features, but I find that a fair trade off for the price.

Very good field of view, clarity, and protection for sunny / mostly sunny days but wow are they delicate. These are not lenses you can carelessly leave on your helmet when you take it off at the table for lunch.

They pick up dings and scratches way too easily. I haven’t even done that – they’re either on my head or in their protective baggy at all times – and mine still have some mystery deep marks in them that started at day one.

Maybe that’s just how all lenses are and the mirror finish simply makes it show up more, but it’s very pronounced. A bit too dark for cloudy / snowy days but that’s not a slam on the goggles, just a heads up.

They’re made for bright conditions. Best non-fogging goggles I’ve every had. Have yet to have a single issue in any conditions, even when wearing a facemask. Not the best value at MSRP – I’d choose interchangeable lenses at that price.

But for what I paid I’d still recommend them despite the easy scratches.

I was in desperate need of a new pair of goggles since being gifted a pair of Spy Goggles when the ones I was wearing on the mountain literally disintegrated (foam can only be expected to last a few decades after all).

I bought a pair of the Smith last year with the birdseye view and chromo pop lenses but the frame swallowed up my entire face so I sadly returned them. Been on a hunt for a comparable pair since then and after some serious research, I landed on the Anon MF1 Goggles and SO glad I did! Absolutely LOVE the colorway of the strap and the frames themselves – the lower tortoise frame is such a great detail.

But besides the aesthetics of these goggles, the magnetic pop-out lenses are literally a game-changer – wow! The optical clarity, anti-fog, scratch-resistant lenses were all key to my selecting this pair.

They fit my old RED helmet without issues, they feel good on the face and I love them! If you are looking for an insane pair of goggles – get these. I promise you will not be disappointed!.

I bought these to have better integration with my size L Anon Prime Mips helmet than my Smith Squad goggle. They do fog up less, but pinch my nose a lot more. So far I have been using the cloudy/pink lens, and it works well in snow and cloudy/flat light.

a little darker than I would like on storm days, but usable. Haven’t tried out the blue variable lens yet. The magnetic lens swap system is awesome, and really easy. I just agree with a post I saw on the Burton site in that I wish these came with an additional protective bag for the spare lens, since spare lenses cost $105 on their own, etc.

I bought one for $6 on Amazon, though. I’m 6’3″, with a longish, oval face, and not a huge nose or anything, and am always between medium and large helmets. So, these might fit others better. But, yeah, these really pinch my nose closed hard compared to any other goggle I’ve worn with this helmet.

So, 4 stars if they fit you because of the lack of lens bag. 3 stars for me because they aren’t very comfy for me, but work well.

Don’t put the spare lens in your coat pocket while riding even if you have them in their cloth pouch. I had them in my chest pocket, which seemed to be very loose, and I couldn’t imagine anything bad happening to them especially since they were inside the cloth for only one day of riding.

Anyhow, the lens coating started to rub off, and it got worse in the following days. Luckily Evo warrantied them, since they were practically brand new, and they gave me another pair in a better color.

These lasted for the rest of the season without anything happening to the lenses, until a few weeks ago when I noticed that the coating on the Sonar green also started to rub off, and I don’t believe I even put them in my jacket.

In any case it’s mostly cloudy here in the PNW so I bought a clear lens, and luckily it came with a proper hard case. Since then, I’ve been storing my spares in there and putting that in my coat they’re remained unscathed, but I think it’s no bueno that Anon doesn’t provide you with this spare lens case when you buy the goggles.

It’s extremely useful, and definitely helps keep them protected. Also, the magnet in the MFI is awesome, but it’s a very delicate piece of plastic, and will break if you’re not careful. Pity Anon couldn’t just make these out of aluminum and put the magnets inside there.

In any case, make sure to take it out when you wash the face mask.

I have had various kinds of Oakley goggles from Canopy to Flight Decks. Wanted to try the new premier design. Overall I like the aesthetics and Oakley lenses are top notch, but the lens change system on the Flight Path is sub par.

Middle tab on top of goggles is nearly impossible to push in. The piece of plastic that is supposed to snap into the frame is too big for the hole it’s supposed to fit into. The plastic piece is glued on and the whole piece moves when applying pressure to snap in lens.

Not something I would want to deal with when getting ready for a fun day on the mountain.

Dang I love these and they are super cool. Have been a Smith gal and I gotta say, Oakley lenses has mastered anti-fogging and versatile visibility. The only thing dropping it a star is the clear frame.

The light seeps in on the sides which takes some getting used to but I’ve learned to adjust. But I can see some folks not loving it. Rose Gold is perfect for the PNW cloud and sun.

great clarity without peripheral distortion while providing excellent shading from bright sunshine. Has all the features like sticky stuff on the strap, great venting, and style. I now have the prism rose, jade and black iridium goggles to cover just about all light conditions.

I broke my femur three years ago because of flat light obscuring the surface, so price was not an issue, (I brought all three this season). what flat light? I find it easier to change goggles than lenses.

I’m 72 ys old.

I had previously been using a 10 year old Oakley goggle, and though it did the job, it was time for a new set. I did a lot of research and narrowed my search down to this set ( the 4D Mag) and the Anon M4.

I went with the 4D Mag from Smith, mostly because of the Birdseye View of the lens. What this is, is a beveled bottom to the lens which allows greater visibility for things that are directly below my chin.

So I often fuss with adjusting zippers, reaching in my inner jacket pockets and taking off my gloves or putting them on etc. All of this is in a portion of your normal field of view that is limited by typical goggle design.

I wasn’t sure, if this additional field of view would be helpful, but it’s fairly noticeable and helpful. To be fair, I haven’t had a chance to use this set much, yet, but so far, I would say this feature seems very useful.

The magnetic lens change system is quite nice as well. Switching between different lenses will be very quick and simple, and I think I will be carrying the spare low light lens with me to take advantage of the quick change system.

The other positive I found was that the goggle shape fit my face nicely and I didn’t realize how uncomfortable my previous goggles were until trying these on. As mentioned, the goggles come with a spare low light lens that if you were to buy on its own would cost $165.

So the inclusion of this lens adds a lot of value. The optics seem very clear but there is a weird bit of temporary distortion in your view when you transition from looking ahead to looking downward due to the lower curvature of the lens.

However, this distortion is very brief and I don’t think it will be an issue. While I was buying the Smith 4D goggles, I coughed up a bit more and bought the Quantum helmet. The fit between the helmet and goggles is excellent with no gap etc.

One last note, I used the low light lens last night and wore these goggles to go fat biking. (using a bike light for trails) Normally I wouldn’t wear goggles, while riding my bike, but it was so cold here in Calgary last night (-28 degrees C), I needed something to protect my face and eyes.

The goggles eventually fogged up a bit, But this was mainly because I breathe extremely hard when I’m fat biking and and I’m not moving too fast. I think these will stay fog free for the majority of the ski conditions I will be skiing in.

All in all, I’m extremely happy with the purchase. Though these are at the upper end of the price range for goggles, the way I look at it is I will probably use these for the next ten years and I think there is lot of combined value when you add up things like the extra lens, the Birdseye view design, the Magnetic lens change system, the exceptional comfort, and the overall quality.

I would highly recommend these goggles.

The bad – I’m having a hard time with these boots. I want to love them, but they’re much stiffer than their specifications suggest. Also, I think they run a little small because I bought exactly the size I’m supposed to wear for snowboarding boots and they hurt.

I wore them around the house for a day before my first trip with them, and have put 4 solid days on the slopes in them, and they still hurt. So, stiffness and size combined, my feet hurt after every day.

The good – they give me great control over my board and provide really good support. The lacing and boa system make for the perfect way to dial in the right amount of hold. They’re warm. I’m gonna give them the rest of the season to break in before I decide to get rid of them, because if they do finally stop hurting they’ll be awesome!.

Ideal lens for day to day use within sunny/cloudy regions (eastern Canada for my part). Was happily surprised of the contrast boost in whiteout conditions, yet not too clear for sunny afternoons. The anti-fog layer works amazingly so far!.

It’s the first time I am using an OAKLEY PRIZM goggle. I chose it mainly for snowy and foggy days. With the pink glass it does not only look good but offers a perfect vision!I used the OAKLEY PRIZM not only on foggy and snowy days but also when the weather is clear but not sunny.

The pink glass offers a perfect vision and great contrast. I also love the white frame. The google fits very smoothly. The colour representation is unexpectedly smooth for a pink glass and offers great visibility under all conditionsHighly recommendable for all conditions, especially foggy and snowy.

The whit frame combined with pink glass looks awesome! The vision of the PRIZM glass is really fantastic.

i picked these up on sale last year and if you can get them for less than a hundred. grab them. i wanted a pink lense for low light days and they were amazing. it was snowing and they didn’t fog up and i was able to pick out bumps and other features a few turns in front of me without any issues.

while i prefer the black iridium for snowbird days, they were still pretty good in direct sunlight as in the picture. they are comfortable and i do prefer the medium especially if you’re not wearing a helmet.

i have an xl which for when i wear my helmet tho. i really wasn’t too much into the retro look, but you can make it work. it’s also not much more expensive than buying a lense to swap out and you now have backup.

you won’t be disappointed.

I’m picky with my goggles. In spite of the large outward appearance these fit really well and look sharp if this is the style of goggles you are into. Even though they are designed to have minimal frame obstruction, I still find my old Oakley Flight Deck goggles have better overall visibility, That being said I wouldn’t say these are inferior at all.

Just a different goggle design altogether. So far I would say that the Jade lens is great for most conditions but I found it lacking in flat light, maybe thats just my eyes. One lens can’t do everything so I may just buy a flat light lens to swap out for those days.

Overall, quite happy with these.

I had a few questions before I purchased these so I called Glade and left a message. That day I received a call back from one of the founders of the company and he spoke with me for nearly a half hour about all of the different models and helped me select the one that made the most sense for me: The Adapt Goggles with the red lenses (though I may pick up the ones in blue too!).

These things are rad in every way. The light changing tech really works and they are some of the coolest looking goggles on the mountain. The fit is great and the viewing angles are wide. I’ve worn them now in deep powder and on slick crusty groomer days and they were great for both and helped with the depth and shadows.

I’ve also worn them in cloudy conditions with snow coming down and bright bluebird sunny days and these things helped me hero down the mountain with ease and finesse. Truly and literally, I have zero complaints.

bought both the arctic motion and flame mingo with BOGO deal, 50 each is a steal. the lenses are excellent for bluebird days. the yellow lenses are perfect for cloudy days. have yet to try them at night.

magnetic lenses have not fallen off, they are solid and strong. just wore them in a blizzard and they were amazing. snow didn’t get in, didn’t fog up unless the mask diverted my breath on the lenses.

if by chance your goggles get some water on the inside and freeze up, just leave your goggles on for a while and it should melt and disappear after a while, just be patient. goggles fit comfortably on either gender.

they fit with my giro ledge helmet. colors are bright and reflective. case is nice and sturdy with soft clothes for goggles and lenses. only concern is the air vents on the top and bottom, they’re covered with foam but they could be punctured if you’re not careful.

but a lot of goggles have the same quality foam so just be careful. overall, excellent goggles, check them out and show off on the slopes!.

These are perfect. I bought the Arctic Xpress for my wife and the Nebula for myself. They are great! The low light lens is great for snowy days, cloudy days and night skiing. The tinted lenses let you really see the snow on those blue bird days.

Clarity on both are top notch. Changing Lenses has never been easier. I also like the lens locking feature. If i wreck, I wreck hard and knowing the lens won’t pop off is nice. Additional to the goggles and extra lens your purchase includes a goggle bag, goggle wipe, extra lens bag, and a hard fabric case to fit it all into.

Oh, and stickers. always love free stickers.

I just received my new Blenders ski goggles! I am so impressed with my overall experience. The customer service contact was surprisingly available and informative, even on a Sunday. Delivery time was only a couple of days.

They fit perfectly with my Giro helmet and are very comfortable. The quality is excellent, and they are cutting edge stylish. The extra set of lenses will cover my varying East Coast conditions, and the magnetic feature makes replacement easy.

The heavy duty, colorful case was a bonus! I can’t wait to wear them.

I love the feel of the material of this coat. It fits great and it’s soft. I love the hood, it fits close to my head and it’s not over sized like some are. The wind can’t blow it off!! There is a small strap on the back of the hood for my goggles which I really like.

I love the color, too. I’ve noticed the arms are a bit lacking in insulation because when it’s below 20 my arms feel the cold through the material. The body us very warm and the back covers my butt. It’s a very nice coat.

Perfect fit. Nice tint. Durable. Matches pants for style.

These goggles are so comfortable and very functional while also being attractive. They did not fog up on me at all during multiple snow activities. I would probably classify them as being more for females than males because of the band design.

Why would you ask for a review for a product that you have not yet shipped? My delivery estimate was for 1/24-1/30. It is now 2/2, and I needed them for a ski trip on 2/3. I just now got a shipping notification that I would get them in 1-3 days.

I won’t even be able to use them.

I find merino wool to be the most breathable type of neck warmer. This one was really beautiful, soft and a perfect size.

Excellent vision in various conditions, but only until they start fogging in between the double lens. The 2 lens are glued together with a porous material (foam) and are not sealed or vacuumed as similar lens from other manufacturers, thus providing possibility for moisture entering in between the 2 parts of the lens and creating a condensation fogging that can be removed only after heating/warming the goggles.

This is very irritating and discomforting, so I do not recommend this goggles to anybody, especially at this price tag. I have noticed that similar products from same manufacturer have the same problem.

The verdict is – STA AWAY from Salomon goggles! This has been tested in temperatures of 0 to -20 deg. C. May be they might work better in temperatures above 0 degC.

Bought these as a backup pair and I’ve actually worn these more than my primary goggles of a different brand. The photocromatic lenses are nice as I ski in multiple different light conditions. I do wish that maybe the lenses got a little lighter for night skiing or heavily overcast days but I also understand the limitations of the lens and don’t fault Salomon for this because the lenses do what they are supposed to do.

These particular lenses do rock in bright conditions and the transition is seamless. Foam is comfy on the face and the adjustment on the straps are easy to make. These fit well over a helmet or without (but you should be wearing a helmet).

No fogging issues and the lenses have been easy to clean. I haven’t had a reason or opportunity to change the lenses out yet but may be buying a spare lens in the near future and will update this review when I pull that trigger.

Usedthe Goggles on two trips now, really pleased with them. Great peripheral view, no apparent distortion, minimal fogging. Good quality plastics what you expect from Salomon. Would recommend.
