20 Best Goats For Clearing Brush (2023 Updated)

My kids have never gotten into dino play that much. They had some Dino’s from a big box stores, but they never saw much play. Then I bought some Schleich dinos during the sale and that is all they want to play with! The detail is great and these figures seem realistic.

My kids often base their play in books we have read and the play is generally realistic. I do believe that’s why these Dino’s have been a hit. This guy is heavy, nicely painted and durable. Several marshmallows have been impaled on his spikes, which is deemed to be great fun.

The last time we got this foal was before we started collecting Schleich figures. My sister painted her, as a gift for her friend, but then decided it was bad. So it was sitting in our Schleich bin for years, until I finally decided to wash it.

It grew weird fuzz, so we quit on it. Then, a few weeks ago, I got a new one for my sister! Her name is not decided yet, but she’s really adorable. That whole backstory was incredibly irrelevant but anyway, she’s a very realistic and cute filly.

I’ve seen several watercolor artists using these lately so I thought I’d give it a try. Holds a great deal of moisture. Can use each tip for different colors giving a striking texture. Blends very well.

I would suggest rinsing first to remove any loose hair. Makes for quick work. Very inexpensive.

I bought this economical set for glazing pottery. Sheds a bit but is an excellent value for the cost. I bought another set for the community studio and they’re already being put to good use.

Whether you pronounce it to rhyme with “lake” or “hockey” (as the Japanese, who invented it, do) the hake brush is perfect for getting the atmospherics that make watercoloring so special. For the price, the Creative Mark Mandalay Hake Brush Set 1 is hard to beat.

They seem to form the “chisel” edge that is integral to loose watercolor painting better than most others I have tried. And of course, they excel at washes.

I use this brush for all sorts of watercolor work. It has a large heel but still creates a very fine point. It holds an incredible amount of water, making it especially perfect for washes. However, it has a smell that I haven’t been able to completely wash out of it.

I love these brushes. They hold a great deal of water and the point stays sharp. Great for tiny details or large surfaces. Will defintley buy these again. Dick Blick has a great customer awareness and makes every effort to keep us happy Thank you Dick Blick.

I bought two of these brushes–one large, one smaller. I think they aren’t the best for what I’m doing–painting on panels using acrylics—but it’s so obvious these are well made and will be fine for watercolor on paper work.

They are soft and springy and well made. Am very impressed.

I bought this for some kids last year that had been hit hard by worms after treatment. They just sister seem to be able to get their condition back. This worked like a charm. Buying again today for an older nanny who I won’t breed again but really lost condition after this birth.

I started adding this remedy to my flock’s waterers and it’s definitely worth using. My birds were having respiratory issues, so every day I added about 8-10 drops in the bottoms of their gallon-size and 12-15 drops in the 3 and 5 gallon waterers.

It is oily and it floats on the water, but the birds all seem to manage to get a healthy dose while drinking. I’ve had no problems with birds refusing to accept it in this manner. Their respiratory problems do seem to be declining since I started using this steadily.

I bought five hens and the next day noticed some sneezing and could hear them breath which sounded like a harmonica. My sister recommended VetRx and I put it in their water as well as have it to them directly.

Out of five hens, three actually came down with the same respiratory symptoms, one stayed well (but I did treat her as a preventative) the other I am still nursing she did not have respiratory symptoms she’s just sleepy.

I have dusted her but she’s still on the mend. Four out of five hens are now well, healthy and happy. I definitely recommend this product when adding to your existing flock or if your hens develop a respiratory issue.

This is a very versatile bait that can be fished a variety of ways. I have caught fish bouncing it along the bottom rigged on a Ned head, reeled steadily like a swim bait, and buzzed along the surface using a no weight.

This one bait covers a wide range of fishing methods.

I have been pitching grass beds this spring with a Billy Goat “The Deal” using a 1/2 oz tungsten flipping weight and catching a bunch of great bass here in Texas. ElaZtech is an amazing material. Fish one bait all day (12 hrs), catch 20-25 bass and never have to change lures! Can’t ask for a better deal than that.

Color matches up well with the Firecraw Chatterbait I like to use in the spring. Action compares favorably to the popular “Rage Tail” soft baits but has the legendary ZMAN durability. I also like these on a Jika or Ned Rig and take advantage of the floating characteristics when bouncing it around on the bottom.

Vitamin B-12 supplement that is given orally. I give 2 cc to a newborn kid or lamb and a weight appropriate dose to older animals when indicated. I have injectable B vitamin also, but this (smells like) cherry flavored liquid seems to be well liked and is swallowed easily.

Our sweet Oberhasli finds this supplement palatable and seems to have more energy now that she’s been taking it for a few weeks. The daily cost is a little pricey but worth it in order to help our girl stay healthy in her senior years.

I use this for chickens. There is a chicken one but I accidently got this. They are identical. Great to prevent wryneck when I use with e and selinium.

The seed quality is good. With good overall germination but the mix is a bit on the more expensive side. There is a few things I would take out and a few that I would add more of. The alfalfa didn’t sprout in my warm south west Georgia climate.

I would like to see more sun hemp and peas/beans in the mix and some sunflower as well. But over all it’s a good mix.

We put this seed mix out in a pasture that is in terrible shape. Germination was good, but not excellent, likely due to the shape of the pasture. We will purchase again and hope that improvements to the pasture will yield a better crop next time!.

I had been recommended this brush by a friend but was a bit dubious. I stand corrected! I have a dapple grey who is constantly covered in poo and it’s really excellent! Game changer. And the best price by far on here.

Amazing! Gentle but effective for things like muddy legs. Mane has never been shinier and is even great at helping get hair out during a molt. So so impressed!

Like all HAAS brushes this is a fantastic brush. Gets all the deep dirt from your horses. Highly recommended

Keeps its shape, lends a texture to strokes, holds up to a bit of rough use which then gives it a bit more personality as an extension of your flow as it shapes slightly to the patterns of use. Snappy and good long lasting affordable brush.

Simply Simmons brushes are friends.

I use my brushes while painting with Oils and other mediums: Mixed Media, Acrylics, and Watercolor. The Natural/Synthetic mix makes for a pleasant working experience.

These brushes perform admirably with my heavy body acrylic paints. They hold their shape and make my painting experience delightful. I’m a novice artist and the Simply Simmons Extra Firm brushes are giving me the edge I need to learn.

Block good for old Goat. N-40 please match up your ‘Mead quantities available’ with supply number on computer. Mead online had none and though I ordered on computer it told me nothing. Trent store was able to supply: long drive to pick up Goat Block- but my old goat sure appreciates having a Purina Block.

This is a great way to make sure your goats are getting all the minerals and vitamins they need. Just drop it in a clean pan and they will take to it as they need it. Because of the hard block form, there is very little waste or spillage.

Purina goat block is the mineral block I prefer of all the minerals I have used for my goats. It contains the copper and selenium that they need. There are minerals both loose and block that do not contain copper which is essential for goats plus they love it!!.

This has been a lifesaver on multiple occasions. I always keep 1 in stock. Kidding, if babies are born having problems, just a squirt or 2 in their mouth while towel drying them, stimulating them and they will wake up within seconds!! I even have used this on 1 of my mommas after a hard delivery, 1 of my bucks that was sick, and they were on their feet within minutes.

This is a true lifesaver!!!!.

I used this for spring lambs as an extra boost. Half my flock would eat it with grain and lick the bowl, the other half had to be pryed open and squirted on their tongue. Convenient dosing bottle. Much cheaper here than local feedstore.

I was expecting magical results in a few lambs with diarrhea, hitting them with wormer and ordering probiotics next.

Major necessity when raising goats! First thing to administer to a new baby to prevent scours and when you have an adult that needs a little assistance with bowels issues as well!

Great stuff, works very well but you won’t always see wilting very fast. Some weeds and brush isn’t affected on the first application – you have to re treat again. Some leafy weeds look like they are waterproof and the spray just runs off.

It’s not in the directions for using but I ad some (a teaspoon) of dish soap for each gallon of water I mix in the sprayer. This seems to let the brush and weed killer to stay on anything you sprayed.

A large part of my Farm is in CRP, woody cover becomes a problem over time. I use Gordons Brush Killer for control of trouble areas. I have/had a lot of wild raspberry’s and I have sprayed with other products with less success.

I found that Gordons has Triclopyr herbicide which seems to get into the root of the plants and stops them. I also use TSC 80/20 Farm Works Surfactant. I apply Gordons at 1 qt per ac per 10 gal water per ac (Large boom sprayer) or 4 oz per gallon of water for hand spraying.

Works on other invasive plants too, – I will use again and recommend to others. Good Luck!.

Been using this product for over 5 years in my customer’s yards and on my own property. It works great for killing all things ‘not grass’. Kills brush, weeds, thickets, briars, poison ivy, poison oak, vine of all varieties, young and established trees.

Also works great in pure concentrate form when cutting brush, larger tree stumps, large vine stumps. After cutting spray pure concentrate around perimof stump to kill stump and prevent sucker growth.

I use 1/4 cup of concentrate per gallon of water.

I have lots of scotchbroom on my property and spraying doesn’t work. This tool is easier too use than a strap and results in less time on your knees. I can get more done in less time. It is heavy, but the advantages outweigh that one negative.

I like this tool and will show it to my friends so they can get one for themselves.

Pretty Good. Cannot do the small stuff with out a lot of fighting on my part. Does not always grab the big stuff on the first try. Overall not bad, but it requires a lot of fiddling to get it to grab and stay on long enough to pull out the tree or root being pulled.

My first set of good brushes when I began watercolour was the Lowe Cornell 7020 (?) red striped golden taklon. I graduated to Other synthetics from Escoda to Da Vinci and yet went back to my simple Lowe Cornell quite often.

Sable brushes came along and I thought I would never go any other way until I realized just what they were made from. When I discovered my old favourites were discontinued I was delighted to learn about King Art and their original Golden series.

Wow! Is all I can say right now. THE most wonderful point, excellent water and pigment load for a synthetic. I keep picking them up and leaving my sables on the table. Love the snap, the release of pigment and the best point I have seen in any brush.

I hope they last. But if they don’t the price is very reasonable and won’t break the bank.

These brushes came very highly recommended by several professional watercolor artists, after our instructor sang their praises every time we got together (for our virtual painting classes). I purchased the size 14 first and it actually exceeded my expectations.

When one of the artists mentioned the great price for the set, many of us stopped painting and started shopping. These are quickly becoming my favorites. They hold a great deal of paint for washes, yet come to a delicate point for fine brushwork.

since La Corneille ultraround 7020 brushes were discontinued, i’ve been looking for a replacement. i found this ultraround 9020 as a replacement. i work in gouache, on botanical and wildlife paintings, i need a sturdy, stiff and super needle pointed synthetic brush.

i’ve been ordering brushes from all different manufacturers and from all over the world, even custom made. so far this is the best i’ve found. it works as well as the original 7020. gouache is very rough on brushes, so i’ll still go through two brushes a painting, but at least i can again do the fine hairs and super tiny details i need.

IšverstiShow in original languageI have 2 Nigerian dwarf girls and they weigh somewhere around 50 lbs, so the dosage is around 1. 5 cups per head. I used 2 feed bowls and only gave 0. 5 cups per goat at a time because for them, the full dose would have been more than what they eat at one sitting.

Over the course of a few hours, I was able to give both girls the proper dose and they ate it with no problems- the pellets look very similar to the feed they normally eat. I’d suggest administering the dosages a little at a time and keeping your goats separated so you can make sure they all get the right dosage and that your product doesn’t just sit out in the open, as goats can sometimes refuse to eat food that’s been ‘left out’.

I’m knocking off 1 star because the bag these pellets come in shreds down the middle if you try to open it by pulling it apart like a cereal bag. Obviously this is going to make a mess and prevent using the bag as storage.

Zip sealed bags have been around for decades and for the cost of this product, the few extra cents to have a resealable bag would make this product great.

IšverstiShow in original languageI thought goats would eat anything, since they chew on paper bags and even plastic bag when they get blow in. But when I gave them this pellets, they nibbled a bit and stop eating it.

I tried adding molasses on the pellets but they still won’t eat the pellets.

I ordered 5 bags. Every single one of them was wet and moldy on the bottom. My previous order this happened as well and I was told I couldn’t return because it was opened and I could have be the cause even though I picked up in their store.

I ordered this time and I’m not about to open 5 bags of feed and then have them all open but each was. Moldy. Had to throw them all away. Don’t bother with elkton.
