20 Best Glue For Artificial Nails (2023 Updated)

This got really great reviews like it would be hard to take off. I put my nails on Friday and my pinky nail snapped off Saturday night. Then come Sunday two more nails came off when I was showering. Also when I was brushing my hair, my hair strands got stuck in the nail.

Which really hurts. (women with long hair understand) so I ended up taking the rest of them off. The glue left a residue on my actual nail bed that was kind of annoying to take off but eventually got off.

I guess this is good for a couple days, if you’re not doing anything throughout the day. Maybe I need to put more on…idk But for the price, I think it’s not worth it. Price should be like $4 ish.

Glue is ok if it’s all you have to work with. It’s runny so it gets all over your fingers. The bond is weak and I spent more time replacing nails that popped off than actually enjoying my nail work. Plus if you don’t use all of the glue even unopened tubes dry out and become useless.

I just had to throw out 6 tubes because of this. I will never buy/use this brand or any other tube glue again now that I have discovered 5 second brush on nail glue.

This is the only glue my nail tech uses when applying the nail tips. My nails always last at least a month. I recommend this for at home nails too, to ensure they last a while. The hold is amazing and they’re inexpensive.

This is the best nail glue you can buy. I make press on nails and this is the only glue that I will put on my kits. It’s very affordable and you get a lot for your money. And it’s very good at holding nails on as long as you prep well.

I’ve tried so many different nail glues and none of them have worked as well as this nail glue has!! could hold an entire relationship together, start to finish, with simply one drop of this stuff! 🤣 In all seriousness though, this glue is absolutely fantastic.

The packaging is simple and has very easy to read instructions. Just make sure you have your fake nail in the right place though as I’ve accidentally glued one on sideways because of how fast drying times are 😅😬.

I found this nail glue to be of very poor quality. I applied it as directed and the nails did not stick well at all. So I cleaned my nails exceptionally well to be sure of no residue from any product and applied the glue again for a second try.

Still the nails came off within minutes of application. I will never buy this brand again and definitely do not recommend it.

As first timer using press on nails, i read hundreds reviews and this glue came highly recommended. Only thing is that dried super fast so there is almost zero room for error. Once dry if some goes on the finger it dries white, but it is easy to remove it gently using a fine grit nail files.

I am really happy with this glue. Being the first time i apply press on I cannot compare, but I can tell the hold is amazing, it feels on my stubby nails like a “vacuum” hold? hard to explain. I move crates, bins, big boxes of HEAVY rocks and crystals. Daily. I’m a clutz not used to long nails so i keep hitting them on everything, catching them in clothes, nothing will bulge. Trust me. This glue is it.

After some practice with several glue on nail sets, I came to figure out that they WILL pop even if you use liquid nails lol. It is all about the 2 factors: amount and pressing. Too much or too little glue will make them pop off.

You need to do some trial and error before you will figure out the perfect amount that works for your nails. Pressing the nail for 20 seconds (at least) is key. Make sure to press the whole nail bed.

That will allow excess glue to spill out from the top of your real nail and create an extra seal. Water will now enter that way ;).

I love Kiss Powerflex Pink nail glue. I live a busy, active life & don’t always have time to spend in a salon getting a manicure. Artificial nails are my go-to solution for that problem. Although most nails come with a small container of glue,I usually use Kiss Powerflex nail glue.

This is THE best nail glue I have ever used. No matter the nail quality, if you use this, the nails will STAY for a while. I’ve done up to two weeks. It could have stayed longer but I just got bored of my nails and wanted to change them.

It’s stronger than Kiss’ Vita Bond Nail Glue, but that strength comes at a cost. This nail glue does leave residue on my nails. After I take a set of nails off I rub them with lemon essential oil and then nail polish remover.

That gets most of the residue off, but there is still some residue on some nails. Right now I’m pretty much always wearing a set of nails so it doesn’t bother me too much, but it also isn’t ideal. For the past three weeks I’ve been trimming the nails shorter, and while they’re lose by the end of the week, none came off.

At least that was my experience the first week using this nail glue on shorter nails. The second week half of the nails popped off. I did do a lot more cooking, washing, and cleaning that second week so my hands were in the water more so maybe that’s why the nail glue was so much less effective.

That’s all I can think of anyway. The third week three nails popped off. It’s definitely not perfect, but overall is it stronger than Kiss’ Vita Bond Nail Glue so I do plan to continue using it.

Absolutely do not recommend. It did not keep the nails on well, it didn’t go on easily, and it is STILL stuck to my nails after trying to remove it. The glue stayed on but the nails didn’t. It also made my eczema flare up (this brand almost never bothers it) so I would be cautious.

I don’t plan on purchasing it again.

PRO TIP in case you don’t read further: holy moly don’t use as much as you would with regular nail glue. i am not complaining but i really thought i was gonna die of old age with these nails on. i wore these nails for over two weeks.

I just started recently doing my nails again. I used to do them when I was younger but the glue was super damaging to my nails. They would be so brittle and yellow. This glue is awesome! My nails aren’t brittle and they aren’t yellow at all when I take the nails off.

The glue dries quick and it hold long. I have three boys at home so my hands are often in water and the nails last about 5 days without any problems. Sometimes one will pop off but I just glue it back on.

The absolute BEST nail glue out there. I’ve tried them all, and this is the winner! I have my nail tech license and have access to all the brands and all the products. I’m in love with this bulletproof nail glue.

It’s thick, stays put, doesn’t squeeze out all over your cuticle when you press down and fills in the gaps. I apply it, touch the nail down at the cuticle first and then lay the nail down and press. Never leaks and lasts at least 2 weeks.

The best of many versions of super-glue. Once sealed and dry, this holds tight, and not just for the nails. Prices for this brand seem to be rising, but I have to have it on hand even so. I swear by Nailene.

I 100% stand behind that Nailene glue is my favorite nail glue. It actually holds your press ons down for 2 weeks+ I tried the brand from Walmart and 4 nails fell off on the first day. That’s is saying something for this brand.

Used this to glue on half tips before my dip powder. For 8 days they didn’t budge. I soaked them all off in a baggie with acetone in it – 10 min they were all off. Presently have full tips on that I used this glue with.

So far 5 days and nothing is budging (knock wood!). I heard this is the best glue and now I believe it.

If I could give a 0 star rating I would. I ordered this nails glue as the one I use normally was out of stock. I applied the nails glue and I was also using Elegant Touch False Nails so it wasn’t that because I have used Elegant Touch’s nails before but not there glue.

So it wasn’t that i was using the incorrect nails so it was the glue it only lasted 2 days! Using there nails that you think the glue would be formatted for but it is useless. I will not be buying this nails glue ever again! I am tempted to send back the 3 unused glues and get a refund but I am currently out of the country so I am unable to.

I don’t do these things very often,reviews, but I’m recently verrry disappointed in this glue. I always buy Superdrugs nails, which are brilliant, but crap glue, sorry, so topped up with Elegant nails brush on glue.

They always use to last at least nearly 2wks before havn to try and get off, but, unfortunately recently, my nails are lucky if lasting 3 days. Now, might be a bad batch, but I’ve bought 2 different lots to see.

Brilliant product. Holds for atleast 5 days, would probably hold longer but I removed my nails on the 5th day as I wanted to change my nails. I’ve cleaned, lifted, washed the dishes, bathed and the nails still hold.

Great and I will never use any other nail glue than this now. Very happy.

I definitely don’t this this glue holds up to its standard and reviews. Personally I juat think it’s okay nothing special. The price and accessibility is great but it falls short for a “maximum ” nail glue.

I also hate the packaging. I always do my own nails and I feel the squeeze tube are annoying and hard to get the product out. I personally like a brush applicator on my nail glue. The lasting power is just OK as well.

After proper nail prep and application some nails still came off with a day or 2. Not ideal or comforting knowing they aren’t that secure. I use it now as a backup/emergency glue only.

So I decided to do press ons after destroying my nails trying to remove a hard gel mani. After reading reviews, I picked this up and let me tell you it is amazing. I just took off my set of press ons last night after two weeks of wear.

I only had to reglue maybe three, but the others were ON and didn’t budge. The only reason I took them off was so I can change to a new design, otherwise they’d still be going. I wash my hands a lot, take long hot showers, and clean using spray bleach (and other stuff).

None of these things seemed to have a huge effect on the hold. Definitely recommend!!.

This glue is a lot better and cleaner than the little pound tubes. They squirt out go everywhere. Hands get very sticky. This bottle applicator with a brush is very very impressive! I didnt think it would be possible for it not to go hard.

i have used it on 3 different occasions with the only problem being that the lid was very very difficult to open. The little 10 for a pound bottles are good too if you stick a pin after use the glue doesnt dry out after one use.

But i would definitely say this version of glue is worth the buy if you cant be dealing with glue everywhere, neat and easy I would definitely recommend this product and i will be repurchasing myself :).

I am really happy with this glue! It is transparent, not so thick and it has thin brush for easy and detailed application so I also use it for rhinestones and flatback crystals. Everything stays in place for at least 2-3 weeks.

My gel nail flipped off so I had to glue it down before my next nail appointment. I ordered some Elegant Touch after reading the reviews and I have to say I was very pleased with it. My nail didn’t budge and would have stayed put for longer than the 4 days it was on had I not had my appointment at the salon.

So far this is the best nail glue I have tried! Fast drying, so try your best to make sure your nail is where it needs to be before pressing down. This is day 6 and my thumb just popped off. I’ve been swimming a few times and do my usual activities plus a few bands here and there! I am impressed.

This is the only nail glue, in my opinion, that works! The extra small tube that comes with the bottle is perfect for applying the glue in just the precise place and in the precise amount. All other nail glues are inferior to this one! Also, I haven’t been able to find 5-Second Nail Glue in my area, so I was thrilled I found it on eBay!.

This nail product is legit. I recommend keeping this in your purse in case of an emergency. This product really does help a broken nail, but I personally do not use this product enough considering I don’t have really long nails or fake nails.

If you get your nails done regularly or even for special occasions, I suggest buying this reasonably priced product.

Excellent glue. Whilst Ive not used it to stick on false nails, I have used it for nail art – sticking on diamant etc. Any nail adornments stay put until I want to remove them. The glue is easily dissolved with acetone based nail varnish remover.

Id certainly recommend it and will order again when I need to.

The brush makes this glue so easy to use, you can’t put too much on. No messy drips, its fool proof. Its also one of the strongest glues I’ve used. I wear false nails constantly and have used many different brands in the past.

No nails have ever stayed on me more than a week, one always ends up popping off with all the typing I do at work, housework etc but these are stuck fast, in fact, I think I may need to soak them off if I want to remove them!.

So it’s office to glue on my Kiss Nails for a photoshoot for my birthday. You have to let it air-dry kind of like lash glue and they still pop off it took me 30 minutes to put on 10 nails. Through the whole photo shoot every time I changed my outfit I had to re glue one or two nails.

Just by playing Super Glue oh, this stuff is crap. NO BUENO.

Works very well for nails that are coming loose. My wife uses it on her nails all the time. She cleans houses for a living so it is very hard to keep nails on with all the cleaning supplies constantly on her hands(she wears gloves but still get a lot of moisture on her hands).

Having tried all press-on, glue on, and pop-on nail brands at Ulta and drug stores (for many years multiple times) I can safely say this is my favorite !! The blue bonds very well, it’s not watery but not gooey or super thick.

It’s like an extremely workable/spreadable thin gel I guess you could say. This helps make is non-messy to apply. It also helps ensure you don’t get air pockets so your natural nails stay clean and you don’t see any air bubbles.

The formula is strong but flexible (see their instructions) so you really can wear nails for weeks straight or just a few days if you want pending the amount you apply. The glue is non-damaging. My nails look the same, And actually longer, than they do before I wear nails while using the product when I go to take the nails off.

I wear my natural nails long but at some point they always tear at the inner or outer edges. Years ago, I bought those little silk wrap films that you can cut and stick on ( or just use a piece of teabag) to reinforce the tear till it grows out.

Well, it NEVER worked for me the way it seemed to for everyone else. the wrap would lift or rip right through within 3 days if not sooner. This glue is miraculous. It holds the reinforcement onto my nail for weeks so now I no loner have to worry about having short nails amongst long ones as I can patch them and have a nice strong reinforcement that I don’t need to be timid about.

I’ve never experienced anything like this glue. The smell is also barely noticeable, it isn’t thick or goopy. Please never, ever stop making this!! I don’t know what I’d do without it now.

It is one of the highest top quality nail polishes I have ever seen. It dries completely in much less then one hour. It lasts for days. I am HOOKED. I bought coconut and the primer and top coat first and once I tried it, I went back and purchased $100 worth of more colors.

This is the only brand of nail polish I will ever use again. It’s worth the money. I would love to review the colors but I can’t on the website. But if you’ve seen the adds and you want to try it. Do it.
