First off. The product is great. It stays in place on the helmet without any Velcro attachments, which I appreciate (tested up to 90mph) the looks from kids and drivers are great and everyone seems to have a good time with it.

What would make it perfect is 1. Faster shipping (not a big deal and I wouldn’t take a star away for that) But 2. The elastic around the helmet face shield cuts off some of your peripheral vision. I don’t like that.

Motorcycling is already dangerous enough without reducing your field of vision. So, it’s not enough to be a deal breaker but make damn sure you check your blind spots and use your turn signals.

Tried this out last night for the first time and my goodness is it hilarious. I laughed at people’s reactions as they were pointing, waving and laughing. Had a few people yelling at me “Elmo Rocks!” Or “ELMO WOOO!”.

I have been wanting one of these for a while and once it came out in this acid trip color I was sold. It is a little hard to get on your helmet but that’s good, it stays on nice and tight. I’ll start with the negatives.

The boob like eyes make a considerable amount of drag over about 60mph, on the freeway you will be involuntarily head banging to whatever song you are listening to. However I did test it (on a closed course of course) and it did not budge a bit at over 100mph.

It also covers up all the vents so it gets a little hot, its a little hard to hear since it muffles noise and it makes flipping up your visor a two handed operation. I have a Sena SMH10 and I can still fiddle with it though.

Now for the positives. Everywhere you go people are taking pictures of you, girls all over town will be trying to pet you when you stop, little kids always want a high five, and if you pull up next to someone who looks like they’re in a bad mood just stare at them a little.

They will be smiling soon as they look over and see this goofy cartoon guy on a bike staring back at them. Overall I am really glad I bought this, I would not recommend it for every day or if you are going hard out in the canyons but other than that I wish I had more friends who would rock these.

Overall product is good. Stays on helmet at high speeds even excelerating hard. Doesn’t seem to move too much on my medium sized Shoei. Only issue is one of the eye brows are odd. One of them is much bigger than the other & allot less fluffy.

Must have just got a defected one. If wasn’t any defected would rate more stars. Was considering buying another for Christmas or Halloween.

So far so good, I got this for my 3/4 Helmet even though it wasn’t specifically advertised for it, anyone on the fence due to same helmet size; get the helmet cover! It its honestly no problem for my helm, the only thing is the wind finding my nose slot and funneling to my eyes but with a halfmask on underneath it kinda plugs it and fix’s it.

But I’ve had no issues with looseness or anything. I get so many compliments and laughs from this thing from rando’s to other bikers. Will definitely be getting a different styled one soon. Possibly less Halloween or even one for the December days.

Ahhhhh. such a good idea for suit at this price range, but needs revisions. The waterproof issue and warmth has been heavy covered, so I’m going to talk about other things. The cross body zip up is strange and starts below the crotch, so a streamlined zip up isn’t attained.

I understand the design is meant to provide airflow, but traditional venting with a center-lined zip up would’ve been best. There’s a lot involved in opening and securing this large frontal vent with many buttons, and is impossible to do while riding, thus, basic zip up/zip down venting windows in the front and rear would’ve worked well.

Speaking of the rear vents – they are unreachable without taking the upper half of the suit off – one should be able to access these easily, especially while riding. It took me awhile to figure out how the leg venting works, but it’s nice once it’s opened.

So, if you ride and there is a temperature change, you have to literally stop, get off the bike, pull off the suit somewhat and make venting adjustments. Opening and closing vents should be attainable at least in some part, while riding.

My biggest gripe is a strange placement of the adjustable strap located under the armpit – it rubs the upper arm adjustment (which is secured with a snap button) and this rubbing – caused by moving your arm forward or backward – un-snaps the button.

So I found myself having to constantly button the upper arm strap. I ended up epoxy’ing the upper arm button in a closed position, but it still rubs the underarm back adjustment strap. There are three pockets.

For being a utility suit, these pockets hold a phone and wallet on the left leg, and one on the chest, and that’s it. The opening of the pockets are small, so you have to squeeze items into them – which makes it a pain to access this stuff.

Forget about pulling out your phone with gloves on. Sometimes, I even have to push it up from the bottom to force it out of the small opening (I have a iPhone 13). I had to use a carabiner on the back adjustment strap to hold my keys as the chest pocket is ergonomically strange to access.

The upper part could’ve used belly pockets, and the openings definitely need to be bigger. Arguably, I could see this suit having 4-6 pockets. If you want to carry more, a fanny pack is the only way.

Stretch material in the crotch and underarms would’ve gone a long way. The armor is good, but this could use hip armor. Again, I believe if Joe Rocket went with a centerline zip-up, the suit could accommodate these sorts of things.

The insulated liner is bulky and awkward. I removed it and prefer to wear an insulated thermal suit that is compression style (Axial brand) and this works much better. Overall the suit is sleek and doesn’t flap around in the wind.

The leg openings fit dirt/ADV boots perfectly. I am 5’9 200lbs, and a recreational athlete and the large fits me very well. I don’t wear it over full day clothes, so an extra large would probably be better for those who need to do that.

I love the price point and idea of this suit. A one-piece utility motorcycle suit is damn awesome, but Joe Rocket doesn’t quite knock it out the park with this yet. I could imagine another go-round with a different design to deal with some of these issues.

A re-design of the venting, more and better pockets, stretch panels and an overall attention to utility would help a revised iteration.

Im 6ft, 175 lbs, and the large fit me just fine. A+ adjustability for the entire suit. Now, if you’re reading this, and have read other reviews concerning how waterproof this suit actually is, I was right there with you.

So I purchased some waterproofing spray and treated it right out of the box, both the shell and the liner. After getting well into rainy November in the Pacific Northwest, this suit has not failed me once.

It was coming down pretty hard tonight, I have a half hour commute home at 65 mph on the freeway, hit a pretty good puddle that doused my legs with water, and I was bone dry when I got back. I’ve ridden in 34 degrees with nothing but a long sleeve and jeans with this a couple times, felt just like a cool spring day.

My only real gripe about this suit is that hip armor would have been a nice touch to complete the package. Other than that, it’s the best bang for buck suit on the market, hands down.

I’ve ridden with this suit in all weather from light rain to downpours to snow. I have stayed dry the entire time. The size runs true to size, if not a touch small in the mid section. I have a 30” waist and this can be snug depending on my layers.

Downside is that I’ve had two of the button rivets pop off so far, the first one was within the first 3 times of wearing the suit. I also wish the legs zipped up a bit higher to make it a little easier to get into.

I have found I have to remove whatever footwear I have on to put this on, which makes it a bit of a pain when you’re stopping to quickly put it on before getting soaked. Great for rain and cold weather.

I’ve worn this with a hooded sweatshirt down into the 30’s and been comfortable with nothing else.

By far the worst helmet I?ve worn. I?m coming from a Bell RS-1. I loved that helmet and wish they hadn?t discontinued the series as it?s successor just doesn?t have the same features. I decided on the qualifier dlx only because I wanted to try and use my transition shield.

I know it?s a step down in tier and was willing to take the losses in features due to the price. And I heard that this was a loud helmet, but my lord it is beyond loud. I don?t know what they did with the aerodynamics of this helmet but the wind becomes amplified in my ears.

Imagine somebody taking a whistle and blowing it directly in your ears as soon as you go 30+ mph. It gets increasingly louder as you go faster. I would feel more comfortable without a helmet on entirely than to put this garbage on my head again.

I love Bell helmets, but this series is a dud.

I’ve got some real “man hands” They are large but not sausage fingers, and they often don’t like small keyboards. Any time I have ever looked for gloves I have always ended up with either a bunch of finger left after the end of my finger, or the bit between the glove’s fingers was nowhere near the bit between MY fingers.

I’m not sure how Scorpion did it, but they somehow managed to sneak into my room and measure my hands to make these gloves! They even seem to have read my mind when it comes to style. I love the contrast stitching, and the chunky “purposeful” style.

I’ve been surprised with the ventilation. Upon inspection it can actually be easy to miss some of the ventilation holes, but somehow, even with just a fan I’ve felt air moving through them. Overall these have been impressive for the price.

I looked at a lot of much more expensive gloves and I am completely happy with these. Maybe some day I’ll shell out for the really nice gloves, but for right now, these will serve me well. I can’t speak to durability, as I have not owned them long enough to really get any idea for that, but in the short time I’ve had them no obvious flaws have showed up.

As for safety, I love everything these offer. The palm sliders, the hard knuckle that isn’t just some plastic. I hope I never know how protective they are, but I am comfortable knowing that I have them there to protect my hands that I used to make a living.

My only real issue with these is the velcro strap. I really with is was just a bit longer and maybe closed from the “bottom” to the “top”, as putting the first glove on is okay, feeling a bit like I have to stretch to make sure it’s solidly “velcro’d”, but that second hand, trying to do the same maneuver with a gloved hand is a tad cumbersome.

It’s nothing world ending, but it is a bit of a nuisance “first world problem”.

Overall a solid glove – but not the best for my hands. These were the 3rd pair of riding gloves I had, so was still figuring out my size. I opted for a size Large as per the size guide, BUT I have long fingers.

The size large for MY HAND, is strange. For reference, I measure just over 8. 5inches – BUT I wear a size Medium in Dainese and Revit gloves, size L in Alpinestars I found the palm to be too broad while the fingers are both too short and slightly too broad.

Additionally, the thumbs are very narrow and short. When I first bought the gloves they were uncomfortably tight, but did relax out on most areas, bar the thumb. They are most uncomfortable on my left thumb.

The construction could use a little attention in future, as the internal seams on the thumb were inconsistent and painful, though nothing a steady hand and sharp scissors couldn’t fix. Though the fit isn’t the best for me, the materials, price, protection and ventilation are fantastic! Knox SPS have always inspired confidence in the gloves and the goat skin palm is super supple.

The Airflow is tremendous and though not as good as a full mesh/textile glove, is to my mind a better compromise of safety/ventilation. Though I find a better fit with other gloves and don’t think I would have been better served with a smaller size, I’d still recommend these gloves and recommend following the size guide, just be prepared to exchange for a different size depending on your specific dimensions.

My review is more to inspire new product(s) that can be used for both motorcyclist and wheelchair users like my self. My rating 5 stars is to denote my love for the comfort, style, design, and looks of these.

As motorcycle gloves these would be my go to pair. As a wheelchair user they fell apart on the 2nd use. And on the 3rd and 4rth uses they will soon be retired. 99% of all gloves I try end up this same way.

Hills present the biggest challenges for the gloves I use. Going up – You need to grip the handrim or in my case the handrim and tire together, as you push forward you are now moving your weight times the slope of the hill.

So you are moving more than your weight, plus the weight of the wheelchair also. I also have 70 pounds I tow behind me to make my workout harder. The stress this outs on gloves is very intense. Seams rip, stitches blow out, fingers can actually push through the glove materials.

With side streets, driveways you are stopping and starting a lot. It is one thing once in motion you don’t exert as much force to keep going, just enough to grip. Downhills is the real issue. Think taking a spill at about 20 to 30 mph.

The speed and rotation of the handrims alone can rub through lessor quality gloves after the first use. The tires are rough rubber and don’t mess around. I often have to stop from full speed locking up the wheels by grabbing them as hard as I can to avoid a ignorant 4 wheel driver blocking my path.

Even when applying steady pressure to keep the speed from getting out of hand, the gloves are being put under stresses you would see in a spill off of a moving motorcycle. I suggest beef up the Kevlar to 200lb test strength braided to better withstand abrasions.

The current is little more than cotton thread for me. For the sides and bottom of the fingers using either the leather used for those heat resistant BBQ gloves, and use an overlay of ballistic nylon of the original 1050D DuPont variety this has amazing abrasion resistant qualities.

The overlay needs to cover the same areas of the sides and bottom of the fingers, and the palm area. I see what the NOX pieces are trying to do and must admit this is clever and a great idea. They need to have a much wider edge to add more stitches, and place it under the leather and nylon for better holding power in a spill.

These are about to fall out after 4 uses now on my gloves. Maybe make the gloves so these can be replaced by the user. If it could work. If you could make the palm a bright florescent red color in case you need to hold it up to stop someone from hitting you, it would much easier to see also.

Add reflectors to the top for better visibility in any color the top is. I also accept all responsibility of using the gloves I own in a way they had not been made for. I am not seeking a refund, or another pair.

Just that the manufacturer be told about my ideas and maybe they will be inspired to design dual purpose gloves. The glove design I mention means better chances in a spill. And if goat leather is the better choice over my ideas, is it possible to make it much thicker? The tires like to eat it for breakfast.

Also add a heat blocking barrier as these get hot under braking.

I ordered up a size, but I needed to exchange it for the smaller one, which is the size I should have gotten to begin with, according to my head measurements and the chart Leather Up provides. Customer service was EXCELLENT in assisting with the exchange process.

Shipping is always super fast! As for the helmet, the fit is great. Not too heavy. I just wish the rose color was brighter, as in the picture. Both helmets I ordered, it was not. I saw the same helmet at a store near me and the roses were brightly colored.

Other than that, I’m happy with the purchase and Leather Up. I’ll definitely be ordering everything I need from this company!!.

The roses, vines & thorn’s on the helmet look painted or spray painted – very beautiful colors. I bought a small and it fit’s perfectly. The padding inside is very comfortable, but I wish it didn’t sit up so high on my head like a mushroom.

Overall, really love it.

Cute helmet to go with my new Ride! Ordered it somewhere else, got the wrong helmet in wrong size. The seller actually implied that ” I” switched helmets. Planning an out of town trip I knew they’d never get my replacement here in time.

Found it on Leather Up for a better price & got it in 2 days in time for my trip. Billy (other place) received my return helmet on Sept. 16 I still haven’t gotten a refund. I’ll stick with Leather Up from now on! Thanks! Love the fit as well!.

Bought these as it’s getting colder and have worn them on a few longer rides and this is what I have concluded about them. I normally wear a large but these are a bit tight, wish I had gotten an XL. Other than the fit I don’t like that they do not have touch screen on the fingers.

After wearing them on 2 35+ mile rides the seam split between the thumb and forefinger just like on every pair of gloves I’ve had. I will attribute that to them being so snug since fox stuff is usually top quality.

Love the knuckle protection and the color options as well.

Extended wrist sleeve makes getting your hand in tougher than you’d expect. Assuming over time it will loosen up. My hand was cold for the first 30 minutes riding in 30degree. But I kept wiggling my fingers and eventually my hands warmed up and they worked great.

Etouch seemed to work well for me. These gloves were very comfortable. You know you like them if you aren’t thinking about them, and after my hands warmed up I never did. I don’t want to recommend going up a size, even though the wrist was difficult to get your hand in.

I do believe it will loosen up over time. They fit well under my fox fire jacket sleeve very well. Nice job fox!.

Perfect fit! They came in time for my yearly birthday/campout ride September 9th through the 12th. Love the padding on the palm of the glove, and the finger tip worked great on my gps touchscreen. I bought 2 more pairs when I got back home.

Have this about a year now. Inflated once in a car park mishap and worked perfectly. The canister was really easy to replace as well. Would not ride without it now. Quality is excellent. The pocket in the front has my credit card and is very handy for keeping the gloves on.

Buying one for my wife now and staying with the pull cord version rather than the electronic one (just in case I forget to charge it up). As usual the guys in the visor shop were excellent and Nigel as usual was very helpful.

I like that it’s easy to put on and take off yourself. All you do is is slide a tab in to comfortable position then pull the red tab up to release it. If your worrying about getting the right size they are pretty accurate on chart.

If your like me and right in-between 2 sizes go smaller. They run slightly larger by 1/4″ to 1/2″. I still had room and was worried until I tightened the chin strap then it adjusted perfectly. No complaints.

First time using a mushroom helmet, looks weird but is very comfortable and keeps your head cool much better than a flip up helmet. The price was great as well. The black matte finish is nice and even.

This helmet is lgihtweight and extremely comfortable. With how cheap it is i was a little worried at first, but this helmet is great quality! Will definitely buy again once the dot certification expires!.

A well made, high quality, very robust jacket. Feels substantial as soon as you pick it up, with a nice weighty feel to it. Good quality zippers, plenty of pockets. Has a thermal layer which is long sleeved.

Armour all around. Feels comfortable when wearing it, I am normally a medium (40 UK/50 Europe) and fits me perfectly. It’s not as technical as Dainese jacket, being a small company Helstons’ jackets have more of an artisan finish, which some people may prefer.

One bad thing: the cuffs at the end of the sleeves are rather too tight and feel a bit uncomfortable until the leather breaks in. Overall a great jacket to add to your existing collection or as your single, do everything jacket.

I ordered from Urban Rider on 2/15/21 (after hours) and the jacket arrived at my home in the US on 2/19/21!! The jacket is absolutely beautiful and it appears to be very well constructed. I ordered a 2xl and it ended up being just perfectly snug.

The accordion side panels saved me from needing a 3xl, Even with the thermal liner removed, this jacket does run a bit tighter than the Helston’s Genesis canvas jacket (2xl) that I have. So, if you are on the fence with sizing then maybe you should consider sizing up.

The leather is very soft and comfortable right out of the box. I can’t wait for the weather to clear up over here so I can try this jacket out in a couple of days.

One of my main concerns before buying this jacket was whether the brown colour would be too light, some of the pictures I had seen online showed it as a lighter tan coloured brown, however I was really pleased when it arrived and it was a beautiful dark chocolatey brown that looks both well aged and high quality.

Once on it feels incredible, the armour is positioned perfectly and due to the high quality of the tailoring is does not wiggle or move about too much (an issue I have had with cheaper jackets) and the quality extends to the detailing such as pockets, buckles and zips which all feel high end.

Love the ribbed sections that make it flexible but still look and feel really nice and the little additions such as the extra buckles on the sides, the zips down the wrists look awesome when unzipped, very retro.

\nIve only worn it on the bike in warm weather so far and find it fine when kept open, however could get a little hot if youre wearing it in summer for long journeys as not much breathability (the same could be said for the majority of leather jackets though).

\nThe inner gilet doesnt have the same feel of high quality as the jacket, it just feels mediocre, however it fits/connects well in the jacket, personally not fussed and I appreciate that the waterproof lining is going to make it feel a little more crinkly.

I didnt buy it for the gilet, if youre hopeing to get a fantastic gilet maybe consider something else. \nI generally pick an XS but that was not available, so I took the small and im happy with the fit.

First usage: this thing is really noisy compared to my old KBC, but it has way better airflow. There was no need to buy another visor (but did anyways) as there are built in sunshades which is a cool feature.

Ordered a size up as my head is kinda round, and despite having a larger shell, seems to fit well. Overall great helmet. Red is more of an orange color, so not like the picture. Not a huge deal, but my bike is red too so kinda wanted a matching helmet.

Spent the money, got a better helmet than I had before is the bottom line. This company rocks, it was shipped right away and arrived soon after.

I loved the helmet when I looked at it online, yet upon its arrival I was very disappointed. First, this helmet is not red, it is orange. Second, the main photo in the image gallery has a tinted/dark face shield on the helmet which made me believe that is how the helmet came.

but to my demise, it does not. It comes with a clear face shield. False advertisement! The helmet itself felts well, but I am highly disappointed I was led to believe I was purchasing something different from what I received.

I was looking for a spring/summer glove that had a bit more padding and thickness. There were what I had in mind. I have a few pairs of “Summer” gloves that have great airflow, but are as thin as paper, not even as good as some golf gloves I’ve worn.

So I wanted a pair with more protection in mind. Scorpion products have good value, in my experience and are of decent quality. The price on these are decent and construction seems nice. These gloves have more palm protection than the thinner gloves and is leather.

The knuckle protectors seem robust, however, I’m not in love with the shape/look (The woman’s version has a nicer molded knuckle shape). These do fit to size, in my observation. However, they are tight fitting at first.

A few rides and flexes and the gloves will relax and feel more comfortable and pliant. Overall, they are a good buy and I am happy with mine! FortNine has the goods!!!.

These gloves, like other Scorpion products I have bought, are a good value for the money. I bought them to replace another $50ish set of gloves from a different manufacturer that the leather was beginning to separate on.

I had initially ordered a size XL based on their sizing chart, but had to return those and bought these from Revzilla in a size L. Now that I have the “right” size, fit is good with no odd areas or weird finger lengths like I have experienced in other bargain priced gloves.

The protected area across the back of the knuckles was a little tight initially and my hand was actually a little sore there after the first time I wore them, but they have broken-in nicely and are comfortable now.

The only thing I do not like about them is they have a gap above the top of the velcro wrist closure at the base of your thumb that could have been avoided with a little more material in this area. I would buy them again, although after a couple of pairs of gloves in this price range I may bite the bullet and buy a pair of more expensive name brand gloves when I wear these out.

Had them for over 6 years now, the only things that show any wear are the palms and really its nothing that 6 years would not do to any other glove velcro pad did come apart at one point in time but some crazy glue seems to have permanently fixed the issue.

I feel like this glove has become a family member. Rode through heavy rain, mud and even snow. The will not save you from water or blistering cold when you go riding in the fall or late December BUT these are some of the most comfortable gloves I own they lasted 6 years and look like they can take another 6.

This review for a size LARGE and is based off of 8 hours of use during my Oregon motorcycle endorsement class. I had worn the helmet around my house for a couple hours prior to my class to help with break-in as this helmet was quite tight initially, which icon is known for.

First of all, it looks amazing in person, it certainly does not disappoint when unboxing. The fact that it comes with the mirrored fliteshield as well as the clear shield is a huge bonus, and the internal drop down visor is slightly darker and worked excellently with my transition-lenses glasses.

The helmet broke in well, the only spot it stayed slightly more tight was at my cheeks, but I have a rounder face with more prominent cheeks. I stayed comfortable on an 80 degree ride at slow speeds with the shield up.

I would definitely recommend this helmet. It feels safe, but I haven’t tested that and don’t plan too. There’s not enough characters to write more. Just get one, coolest helmet at the price point.

Only worn it for a short ride and one day of commuting so far, but I like this jacket. Not a flimsy mesh, feels like a proper textile jacket, but breathable. The armor is light, the jacket fits well, the zippers feel well made.

The only gripe I have is that that the sleeve opening zippers don?t seem to want to stay down, they sort of creep up as you move around. Would be cool if there was a hook/loop strap or a zipper lock of some sort to keep it from opening on its own.

Probably not an issue of wearing gauntlet-style gloves, but I?m still on summer gloves for now. Not enough of a complaint for me to justify 4 stars out of 5, I feel 4. 5/5 would be more appropriate.

True to size. Awesome design! The only shop that had them in stock!!! Fast shipping got here faster expected. I love icon brand because they have some awesome urban streetish designs. This jacket is perfect for florida weather! It does get a little dirty on the neck area amd bug splats will show on yhe white part of the mesh.

But super durable! Love the design! Has d30 everywhere except chest piece. Zipper pockets! Inside pocket wish it inner pockets on both side. Also no chest protection.

Much bigger than the previous icon jackets that I have bought in the same size. Sleeve zippers are on top of your forearms and feel wrong. Not to mention the left sleeve zipper will not stay zipped compared to the right that seems to function properly.

It a very light and great fitting helmet, it fits comfortably and snug with no noticeable tight or loose areas. The vision is good and the visor shuts and opens well, it does take a bit of getting use to on opening the visor but after a while its fine.

The build quality looks a feels great. The Frost Black looks understated but stands out at the same time depending on which way you view it. All in all I am very pleased with this excellent purchase at a very good price.

My head side was measured at 59.2cm so went for the large size. At first I thought it was too tight but a few hours in and it’s perfect once the linings bed in.
