Best Games On Ubisoft Plus (2024 Updated)

I got into the Assassin’s Creed games just recently when I was gifted Syndicate. I had a lot of fun playing that one, so I have been picking up the other games in the series. I’ve only played Black Flag so far, but it has a lot of the same elements I liked from Syndicate, with the addition of the ship battles, which so far is a lot of fun and requires a little strategy.

The thing that I like most about these games, is the recreation part of the world it is set in as it was that era. These are real places on Earth and not some fantasy creation. Black Flag is set in the Caribbean and it is just cool to me how much detail is included.

I’m looking forward to getting into Rogue as well, though I can’t really review that one.

The assassins creed franchise is one of my favorite especially the games from old gen. Assassins creed 4 looks really good and crisp runs really well especially for this port. Assassins creed rogue runs pretty good too but it might look a tiny bit blurry especially coming from playing AC4 but imo doesn’t bother too much and u get used to it fast.

AC4 is on the cartridge but ROGUE has to be downloaded.

I have always loved the Assassins Creed franchise and this is no exception. I was skeptical that this game could port to the Switch but boy was I wrong. This game plays very seamlessly even thought there were a few instances of lag but they were few and far between and most folks won’t notice.

Having played it on an Xbox One and on the PC, I am a bit sensitive to latency. Be that as it may, this game looks great both on the small screen and on your TV. I got this under $17 and I say this is a steal especially for a physical game.

If you want to play something more mature on the Switch, you can’t go wrong.

I’m an amature gamer and this is the first Assasins Creed game I play, so might not be the most relivent review. That being said I really enjoyed this game. Evie and Jacob fry were great characters, I liked that you played as both of them and were not stuck as one character.

Great graphics. I enjoyed that it is in Industrial London. The history included in the story line makes it more interesting. I liked the kids that would bring you items, felt like I had my own personal minions.

Fighting was fun but a bit repetitive at times. When I got farther in the game my rooks started shooting policemen for no reason which did get on my nerves because then I had to join the fight at times when I was on my way to do something else.

All in all a great game which has convinced me to play the other AC games.

A bit repetative in terms of mission progress, but enjoyable enough for a complete play through. Played this after Black Flag, which definitely has the edge in terms of diversity, but for the price I paid it was a few weeks of great entertainment.

I had the 1st PS3 Assassins Creed 1 which I got really bored with. The later ganes are a much more involving experience.

I waited a couple of years to try AC Syndicate. I skipped Rogue and Unity due to the mixed reviews. Coming off of AC Black Flag, Syndicate is an improvement both in graphics and game play. I think the game play is one step smoother and the graphics two or maybe three steps better (I have no idea how to convey what a “step” is, though).

Ubisoft had added carriage racing to the game, which is pretty fun but came become a little bit old after you have performed several of the challenges. Not surprisingly, AC Syndicate game play has a lot in common with Watchdogs (the original).

Once I made the connection, I couldn’t break it. The missions are similar in the abstract with the time period and tools being the main difference. The story is a good continuation of the whole Assassins-good-guys versus Templar-bad-guys vying to control the world.

Ubisoft has retained the parallel present-past dual story lines, but thankfully! the present day story is much reduced. I’ve only had to watch a few cutaways and not been forced to act in the present day.

The Pre-Cursor story is still there and your characters are still trying to wrest pieces of Eden from the Templars’ grasp. There is an odd bit sort of tacked on where you play a different character in WW1 London, but I just tookit in stride rather than questioning it (you know.

kinda like watching The Walking Dead. if you question it too much the weak reasoning might detract from your enjoyment. ) Overall, is it a good game? It is Assassin’s Creed. It plays like Assassin’s Creed.

It feels like Assassin’s Creed. It has evolved a bit, but remains true to the franchise. I like Assassin’s Creed, so think this was a good game at 2017 prices. I don’t think I would have been happy with it had I paid $60 when it was first released.

I have been playing this for a month now, taking my time, and am not quite through the main story line. I have enjoyed the last few FarCry releases and this is no exception. You star as a guerilla fighter in a corrupt Carribean nation working to rally countrymen to the cause and topple the military and corrupt dictator, played by Giancarlo Esposito from Breaking Bad.

The stealth kill opportunities are numerous, fun weapons, funny dialogue, huge map, amazing graphics on the PS5. My one complaint, Ubisoft should have spent a few more weeks debugging this title before release.

I did not experience the technical glitches that are present here on any of the prior releases. Weird stuff, like when you parachute into a military area to start a mission, it wont let you boot up any of your weapons from the weapon wheel.

No bueno! Frantic jittery image playback at a few points. One time I was flying a plane on a mission, the screen went dark and then jumped to end game animation with the character in a chaise lounge on the beach.

Just weird. But I can forgive that, because the game is that good. When the game starts, choose the female Dani character. She is excellent.

Just like its predecessors before it, Far Cry has not disappointed so far. The games graphics are awesome, gameplay is fun and addicting, and controller enhancements add to the realism for the PS5. It has a much more believable storyline than Far Cry 5.

The Antagonist is a corrupt government leader (believable). Rogue government takeover of a small country has me addicted. The only downside is the game gets a little repetitive (like the old Far Cry games) when playing for more than a few hours at a time.

I find taking a few days breaks in between sessions helps keep the game entertaining and interesting. The only complaint I have with these games is the unrealistic headshots. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 magazines to take down a NPC.

Frustrating to say the least, but I suppose having bullets that light people on fire aren’t exactly realistic, either. It does take some getting used too. You need to carry weapons for the right job, and use the correct ammo against the correct bad guys.

That being said, the Bow doesn’t disappoint and remains my favorite FC weapon of choice. Love the game and will continue to support the Far Cry brand.

Already traded it in. At first the newness of the yearly far cry game, games i love may i add made me love the game. After about 20 hrs in the excitment wore out. Not much has changed and actually has got worse.

Enemies dont feel nearly as difficult you can literally run up on many even if they see you and stab them and quickly run to next then the next. Every once in a while theyll overwhelm you but not much.

Yes world is cool as usual the driving feels better. Graphics dont seem as polished as years past and the story didnt keep me interested. They throw so many diffrent dumb characters at you, you really dont care about any of them.

The companion animal seems cool until he just gets you into trouble more then he is worth and the dog cant even ride in the car with you. He just appears after you just took a 3 mile boat ride across the map and boom their is your companion.

Just stupid. New weapons make no sense disco gun really isnt fun to use. Jetpack is cool but newness doesnt last pretty limited on using it too. The final nail in the goffin and i boxes it up and traded it in was once i found a tank and put on special gloves that repaired the vehicle constantly as it took on damage i was literally invincible even before i was 25 30 % into the game.

Keep in my mind i screw around alot in far cry which is half the fun so 20hrs in i wasnt to far in yet. One last thing you dont feel scared of the enviroment your in like in almost all the far crys before it.

Animals attack sometimes but easily handled and not very many. Even sharks in water your not afraid of. You get little bite u turbln whack em they run then come get you again after a bit. not good not worth the money.

Maybe 19. 99 game very dissappointed.

this is a great game for fans of rainbow six siege! it can be a little repetitive after a while, but it’s still fun with online play. the player base is much smaller than siege, but ubisoft is still supporting it with updates and special events, adding new playable characters, etc.

i would highly recommend this game to siege fans, or fans of cooperative team gameplay.

They tried something different this tim3. Teamwork is paramount. You die a lot in the beginning until you start leveling up. Add each individual player you chose has their own level buildup.

I’ve always been a fan of Rainbow Six and when I saw the trailer of this one I had to preorder it. Well I got it last week and we all have been totally satisfied. In fact we haven’t stopped playing it.

Great action and battles make it a really great game.

This isn’t my first time finishing ACIII, the first was when it originally released in 2012. It’s my first time completing this remastered version as well as The Tyranny of King Washington, which I completed on Nintendo Switch.

Despite playing it on Nintendo Switch, (no thanks to the graphical limitations) this remaster looked very pretty and played pretty well if comparing it to other games on Nintendo Switch. There were certain points like cutscenes, ost and vo that helped engage me into the story.

I thought the vo and mo-cap acting was well done for a video game. That cinematic feel was really nice and helped keep me intrigued. Outside of the bugs (99% Synchronization bug with Assassin Recruit) and consistent force closing during play through of TTOKW, it made this experience much better than I remember it.

Thankfully, I was able to achieve 100% Synchronization for the completion of TTOKW DLC. All the remaster enhancements, changes and content really made it a much more enjoyable experience. I really appreciated the soundtrack for this game, it was AMAZING that includes the ost for TTOKW.

One track that really caught my attention was one with wind instruments , I think it’s Ratonhnhaké:ton’s theme. SPOILER ALERT: TTOKW story became even more interesting at the start of Episode 3. I wasn’t expecting to get that same single player story quality from the DLC.

Although, I do wish there was more closure for the relationship between Ratonhnhaké:ton and his mother towards the ending. For example, having him and his mother interact in some spiritual closeout animus conversation with her after the throne scene.

We got a lot of introductory cutscenes with her, I don’t think she ever even had a closeout scene (aside from seeing her when she is sitting on the throne). I really did think it was a great idea to have her play a bigger role in the DLC, it seemed like Connor was very close with her even after death.

It’s great that they captured some of that in the DLC. Overall it was fun to play, watch the cutscenes and have enjoyable gameplay with a lot to do.

This has to be the worst remake I have ever played. This being a game I almost played to completion in the original. I can say that they didn’t fix any of the small problems, like jump accuracy or double shooting, and with their treating of map textures exponentially leads to larger problems.

For instance phantom rocks that existed in the first game but were not coded out for their retextured counterparts making your horse, or player stick to certain part of the free roam areas during timed missions or simply avoiding a wolf attack.

I can say that the texturing of this 8 year old game should be better as well. But the part of the remake that really gets me right now is the assault of bunker hill level. The retexturing is causing my assassin to randomly climb up the ship or jump on it where there again was no viable handholds that probably existed in the original but not coded out, making him pop up in a stealth mission, thus making you have to restart in order to get fully synched (best outcome) or simply falling off randomly when a cannon shot happens or better yet an AI that seems to hear a pin drop when you do air assassination’s as another requirement, during of all things a cannon volley.

That being said it has a lot of value bringing the season pass I have yet to play and another coinciding title that again haven’t played. I just wish I wasn’t stuck for the past two hours trying to kill the same ten or so people because the level redesigns are hindering the game that much.

I wasn’t a big Assassin’s Creed fan until this gem of a game was released. The return of Desmond and the animus along with Desmond’s father and his colleagues. The introduction mission sets you up to learn the controls as you play as Haytham Kenway.

You then enter a theater. I won’t spoil it for those who haven’t played the game. You then come to America to find objects to gain power for the Templar. After a few missions as Kenway your a young Indian boy learning to hunt and you grow up doing various tasks till one day a tragedy happens.

Things change and you leave the tribe to learn how to become an Assassin. As Connor you do missions and train. And for those that do t know this is the first of the series where ships play an important role in the game.

A quick not this game also tells a stores about the American revolution. Now for game play it’s your typical modern Assassin’s Creed, Kenway is a bit sluggish and the controls act like they are but Connor they are fast like they should be.

Graphically they did an amazing job for a remaster the colors are bright graphics are clear, just amazing from being on the 360 then Xbox one X. Usually when they remaster a game from the previous generation is he graphics aren’t that good but this remaster sure came out looking good.

My score is 9/10 if you haven’t bought it I suggest you do.

The third entry in the Assassin’s Creed series is basically just a rehash of the previous two, but with the revolutionary war spin and some distractions baked into the gameplay. They added a sea battle mode where you command a late 18th century ship, complete with sails and cannons, and drive it around the eastern seaboard.

Unfortunately, I don’t think it was very successful. The game’s story itself is a bit dull, but if you’re looking to complete the trilogy, it might be worth checking out. The game also suffers from an overlong story.

Without giving too much away, you begin as one character and eventually switch to a different one. The buildup of the first is far too long and leaves you bored by the time you start the second. Overall, I don’t know if I’d recommend this game.

I picked it up out of a need for completion when it comes to the original Assassin’s Creed trilogy. As far as the switch remaster, it’s a bit lacking, but not a complete disaster.

This includes Assassin Creed III, Liberation and basically all of the DLC that originally came out for the games. I got these games as a bonus included with AC Origins Deluxe. Having only started playing AC with the Ezio collection, I missed a lot of the earlier AC games including these two, so I was happy to get these as a bonus included with Origins Deluxe.

I have played most of the AC games in the last few years though and if there is one thing that is a bit of a negative with playing the older games, is how much smoother the newer AC games play as compared to these.

These are remasters with better graphics but since I have never played the games when they originally came out, I can’t compare the graphics before to the remaster. The graphics are decent but they don’t quite match the latest AC games.

There are also numerous graphic glitches and things of that nature that older games are known for. In a lot of ways, these two games remind me of the Ezio collection that got me hooked onto the AC games.

With that being said, like the Ezio collection, the gameplay controls and environment interaction and movement feel awkward to me as compared to the much smoother Origins, Odyssey, etc. Fighting/stealth is definitely not as smooth, but I try to keep in mind that this game is much older than what I have been used to playing in recent months, so I am willing to be a little more forgiving in that respect.

The tutorial seems to be a bit of an afterthought for these two games, but at least there is a basic explanation of the game. The menus are a bit cumbersome, but not enough to be too annoying to utilize.

Maybe these games are not as big as the most recent AC games, there is still lots to see and do, especially since both games include all of its content. It is interesting to explore the varies areas around the cities.

There is a variety of different quests to do throughout and has the familiarity of what I am used to doing in AC games. Of course, there is some of the boring collectable stuff and some meaningless side quests that can make it a bit of a choir to complete.

I am not a bit multi-player fan, so that is not much of a factor for me. One small frustration is the occasional crash of the game on my PS4. I would expect a bit of a smoother port of these remasters without major hiccups.

Although I am not quite familiar with the original, I am glad they have made some game improvements (based on what I have read) that would have probably been extremely frustrating. Being a remaster, those that have played the original and liked it will most likely enjoy this one, but the game is still with some frustrations that should have been fixed with the update.

Overall, I like this and I am satisfied to get a chance to play these when I didn’t originally. They do show their age in gameplay and other issues though. 3. 5 stars.

Really fun adventure game and set in the old times. Really like running across rooftops in London. Has a very good story line and a bunch of fun missions and tasks. Alot of cool weapons and guns that you can use.

If you buy this game and like old killing and similar like hitman, It is a great game.

This AC Unity is the first damage case I received but then I let it go. Thought it will not happen again. I ordered Ac Syndicate after, I was so frustrated to get another broken case. The bottom lock is not working, same problem as the first one.

Having played through every previous entry into the Assassin’s Creed franchise, I could easily have felt jaded during this game but it shakes things up considerably, mostly for the better! Pro – Brilliant visuals (comes at a cost, first con) Pro – Intriguiging strong which flows at a good pace Pro – Combat system has a much needed upgrade, it is much harder to beat enemies now and they can even insta-kill you now if you are not careful.

(No more holding counter to win!) Pro – Vast level of customisation for the character Pro – So many more interior locations (at first glance, one main city hub feels like a downgrade but there is SO much to do that it feels more busy than any of the previous games) Con – Some long loading times due to the new/revamped engine, which occur every time you load a new area Con – There were a lot of microtransaction possibilities (which is don’t like in games like this, but it is very possible to play the game with them) Overall – Awesome, beautiful game with a great story marred ever so slightly by loading times.

The bugs that were present at launch have been ironed out already. (Special bonus when the game is discounted 😉 ).

Great digital edition to Xbox library compatible for series s/x new console and has improved graphics and resolution with upcoming update. This game started a new approach for the assassin’s creed franchise.

Each game has been getting better with graphics and optimization. With a few tweaks to the movement camera sensitivity in game it works much better for gameplay. Lots of free extra to download if you have xbox game pass ultimate a fun game great price.

I’ve played every Assassin’s Creed game and they have their fair share of amazing moments with what can be considered clumsy controls. If you look at how much your character can traverse in the environment mixed with AI chasing you or timed objectives it seems slightly forgivable to have some controls to be inaccurate.

I personally felt that Unity had less of these fumbling controls and more smooth animations with he parkour moments. Thats really what it all comes down to how much can you stay in control while dealing with objectives stealth or aggressive and still enjoy the experience.

Unity had a lot of hiccups on launch day, I originally played a few days after and ran into none of the atrocities that were roaming around gaming websites and blogs. I guess I was lucky to have waited.

There are a few large patches to download but they make the experience much better over all so I really advise you update your game as soon as its in your console of choice. I played on the ps4 and was very impressed by the level of detail in the environments.

Everything seemed very well crafted esthetically. There is a lack of a day/night cycle due to the extremes put on the hardware, so I assume the just chose the time of day and stuck with it to save on making the visuals as high as possible.

You can see the difference in the newer AC Syndicate. For better or worse it does have a day/night but it seems to be taxing on the overall visual quality in my opinion. The gameplay such as combat takes a bit of getting used to.

You never really feel like you’ve mastered it until you’ve put some hours into the game. It is a slower pace but it is realistic and brutal with finishers that are really cool. The story is decent enough, full of chase sequences and fun assassinations that span all of Paris.

One big draw back which most reviews have touched on is the lack of french voice acting and accents. English accents litter the game’s main characters and it just feels lazy overall. The acting delivery is on par with last iterations of AC and is very high quality.

The world itself has a lot of replay value if you enjoy the core gameplay of running around killing bad guys and collecting items. I found myself not really interested in revisiting the story missions as much.

The Coop is a huge feature which is the legs of this game. You can have friends or other players join in on a mission to assassinate a target and each player can utilize their unique skill sets to accomplish this in a fun fashion.

I enjoyed this version of AC the most. Yes it is missing the grand sea battles ofBlack Flag, and thankfully the long intro with AC3. I found the main character Arno to be less annoying than Ezio. The game feels a lot like the first AC regards to it being scaled back to give you a great presentation with the addition of coop.

I hope this review gives you a better idea of what you are jumping into with AC: Unity. Check other reviews, watch gameplay, rent the game or if you feel so inclined buy it.

Assassin’s Creed Unity has been a satisfying experience for me. I have got the platinum trophy of this game and I enjoyed most of the gameplay. What I love most is the extremely detailed 18th century Paris, from stunning re-creation of famous buildings and structures (both outside and indoor appearances and decorations) to its near real life residents.

I would spend hours just walking on the streets and looking at those buildings like a tourist. As for structure modeling, this game is more like an art piece than a video game. I took quite a few screenshots on my PS4, my favorites are some of the luxury indoor decorations of the palaces, the rooms are so immersive and highly detailed that I felt like I was actually there.

As for the rich amount of NPC populate, I saw all kinds of activities and it is definitely the most living world in the entire franchise. Since I do engineering related work in real life, I was surprised to find one of the earliest sanding machine.

I found it in a machine workshop, a guy was operating on the sandinging machine which is powered by his feet stepping on the pedal instead of electricity, with a workpiece in his hand. Just a normal folk doing his job.

There are many activities like this waiting for players to discover. The combat system is lacking. Counter-kill doesn’t exist anymore and the combat is a bit dull. Arno doesn’t have an arsenal of gadgets like Batman in Arkham series nor wraith abilities like Talion in Shadow of Mordor.

Since high level enemies are able to parry your first two strikes, players are put in a defensive position: waiting for enemies to strike, counter them then get a few clean hits. I would love to see a counter-kill mechanics similar with the very first Assassin’s Creed game, where counter-kill relies on strict timing.

The enemies are also much deadly because they can use firearms and flash grenade against you. The snipers are able to detect and attack players from 30 meters (estimated) away but player’s pistols and rifles have a maximum range of 25 meters (estimated).

In short, there is no way to counter-snipe them. And for many missions it is very difficult to stay undetected. Assassin’s Creed Unity has the weakest story line in the franchise. The creed has faded ever since Revelations and I think it reached all-time low in Black Flag and Unity.

Arno’s actions lack motives, he has his own agenda and blindly follows lead after lead. At the very end he forgets why he even joined the brotherhood in the first place. Again, this is my personal take.

On the other hand, Unity has a variety of side missions. I enjoyed the murder mysteries missions where you help a police officer solving crimes. You have to use your brain to analyze evidences instead of cutting down enemies.

Those missions are indeed carefully crafted along with Paris story missions and riddles. I highly recommend those who haven’t tried them to give it a shot. Coop missions now use p2p connection and for the most part is unplayable since other players’ PING can be very high.

Expect super lagging.

Tom Clancy’s The Division is a RPG Co-Op shooter hybrid. Upon release this game has had a myriad of problems, such as more than a few times I’ve found a mission objective become impossible to complete from issues such as; – completing objectives but the game doesn’t trigger the start of the next objective – not spawning the NPC’s required to progress, Other minor issues also exist with things such as audio clips not playing, being unable to move after an enemy knocking you out of the menu, and clipping through walls.

Whilst this game can be highly addictive, it is for all the wrong reasons. Playing the same 20+minute missions over and over for gear, following the same path in the Dark Zone killing named enemies for gear, or walking around the street grabbing crafting materials to craft gear.

Unfortunately, as of right now, in the base game that’s it. No PvP exclusive game mode, no side activities, no wave based game mode. Just running through the same stuff, shooting the same generic enemies, all the while hoping for a drop.

Yet even with that, most players will keep coming back to the grind, because they want that gear which is a completely random drop. Now even though I may sound like I hate the game, it’s not all bad.

The idea behind the game’s narrative is solid, and even the telling of the story is quite good, with part of the story being told through the missions, and another major part of the story coming from the collectibles you can find.

Yet even though the story was solid, it ends rather abruptly, leaving major parts unresolved, creating the likely scenario that it will be finished in DLC. I cannot say much more without getting into spoiler territory on that unfortunately.

Along with the story, the world is sold very well with the combination of lighting and particle effects. More than a few times I’ve been amazed by the look of an area. Whilst this game doesn’t have ultra amazing character/building mesh’s or textures, the lighting and effects more than makes up for it, yet with all the good it does, is not enough to overlook the game’s underlying problems.

With all I have said, I don’t wish to attack the game because I see how much potential it had, and I think it still has some, however, the base game as it is now only a few weeks after launch doesn’t have enough content to keep players interested until the DLC’s, relying more on the addictive grind for gear, rather than providing satisfying gameplay that players will return to.

Whether or not this changes in the future is something to be seen.

Don’t go in alone! Let’s start this off by saying I’ve put into the game 55 Hours or so, maxed out my character to a certain extent and really had a lot of fun playing this with all the players/friends whom of which have been in it for the loot all along.

Wait I meant to say the game as a whole. and that’s where a small problem with loot based games come in. The setting of the game and the environments are well made, realistic to the limits of boredom since it honestly some times feels like a running simulation with the vast distances you cross to get to another safe house, of which is supposed to alleviate the time spent running through usage of quick travel to safe houses.

The story isn’t anything to write home about, it’s your basic land in chaos and rebuild out of chaos and everything goes extremely smoothly no bumps in the road. Voice acting is top notch, giving you a genuine feel of how chaotic and stressful a setting like the game could be (post-pandemic situation) although your characters themselves are very much so the silent do don’t talk types which is a little annoying in my opinion.

Loot, Loot, LOOT, that is the premise of the game, to gain powerful, rare loot. There isn’t much of a formula change from any loot driven game of its kind (Destiny, borderlands, MMOs, etc. ) and The Division tries to buffer and add diversity into the loot pool with cosmetics which fall rather.

short and end up all looking the same with no real clear distinction between the pom pom beanie and the regular wool beanie in the game. Keeping along side the loot system is an excellent control system of a cover based third person shooter, the game punishes you playing recklessly in later parts and honestly seems too difficult, until you reach the level of the enemies and they melt like butter again.

Rinse and repeat the game is quite the repetitive scenarios played over and over again if it weren’t for the variety of environments that are introduced. Each new large scale mission and even some of the smaller side missions give you a new area to explore and play in, whether you’re searching for virus scanners in a trench zone or a 4 story mall, the game tries to give you variety in areas to keep things from getting dull and it does it rather well.

Another huge part of the game is the ability to customize the weapons, you take an assault rifle and you make it your own, big scopes, little scopes, 90% additional ammo clips, faster fire rate clips, hand grips, you name it and you make it yours.

Pros: Strong voice acting Gun customization Variety in Environments Solid controls and game play Well optimized (even in beta) Expansive, relatively accurate world Cons: No own character voicing Character Cosmetic customization not different enough from each article of clothing World feels too expansive at times, especially in the beginning when there are no fast travel points Overall honestly a decent game, sure its got its hiccups and crashes every now and then but it’s a blast to play with a group of friends or strangers with a mic and any one who’s entertained by the notion of a loot based shooter should give the game a shot even after it goes out of the spot light.

Bought for my 16 year old son to help with composing. Took over an hour to get it working. You need a good comprehension of a computer system to up load and run the software. Took two of us an hour. No walk through online and company video not great.

Reboot needed to get it working once loaded. Otherwise great.

I am very happy with the delivery which was on time. I bought as a present and I have no clue about MIDI keyboards so I can’t really tell how good it is. I just tested to see if it works and everything is fine.

Worth buying just for the synth software supplied. Takes a bit of learning to apply the sound patches but worth it in the end.

I’ve played this game on my XBox Series X on and off (7 hours total) for about a couple of weeks so far. I’ve gotten through enough of the game to know that I like the game. It’s kind of a cross between Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Zelda.

There are enough RPG elements to strengthen your character as you progress. The graphics are fantastic! A couple of downsides for me. To perform special moves, I have to remember the various button presses.

With other games I’m playing, it’s hard to remember the combinations if I stay away for a couple of days. This is minor. The second downside is the character’s stamina system. It decreases when the character climbs or glides.

There are these blue things (sorry, I forget what they’re called) you collect throughout your journey that you can consume when your stamina runs low, which happens quite fast while climbing a tall statue or mountain or gliding.

You can consume those things before your stamina completely depletes. If not, you fall, and depending on how high up you are from a flat surface below, you will get hurt or die. I know the character can build up its maximum stamina over time, but this is not something I really want to worry about.

Perhaps, I will get used to this when I put more time into the game. I would recommend this game if you like action RPG games. I think Ubisoft did a good job with this game.

This game was enjoyable. Like a mad scientist took a little DNA from several video games and mashed it all together. Graphics were enjoyable, played this on my Xbox Series X on an LG CX OLED TV, and the picture was crisp and clear, graphics were smooth.

The two background characters you hear throughout the game, Zeus and Prometheus, are what really made this game stand out above the rest though. Their banter and comments during the game made it far more enjoyable than the game would have been without them.

Gameplay itself was good, although I wish when you maxed out health and stamina, that bonuses from armor would STILL apply. I also wish they had better armor and weapons. Everything I found throughout the game was all boring stuff that didn’t give me as good of a benefit as the actual weapons I started with.

And I only used two pieces of armor the entire game, one that gave my arrows lightning bonus damage, and one that decreased stamina usage. So the lack of rewards was disappointing. Would have been nice when you finally get the better armor towards the end if it combined a few things.

Frustrating thing for me was the camera locking on enemies though, because in the middle of a huge battle, slamming the stick around as I turned my camera POV from one enemy to another, it was far too easy apparently to click the stick and have it lock on an enemy.

And all that did was make me not able to hit what I was TRYING to hit half the time. I looked for options to disable that ability to even have the camera lock like that on an enemy, but didn’t find it.

Even my son was yelling at the TV at times when that happened in some of the major vaults and fights. Other than that, though, a thoroughly enjoyable game. I wandered and got most of the vaults and chests and such before I got too far into the storyline, so by the time I started getting to boss fights I was already seriously tough so I didn’t have issues.

If you enjoyed Link or Fable and such, this is one worth grabbing.

This is just a copy of breath of the wild, with some original changes. Except its unimpressive in every way. The exploration is bad because every piece of gear you pick up is worthless, they just add different stats or colours.

You already get good enough gear early on. Almost every single thing in the game is locked behind a puzzle and the puzzles are generic, boring and feel like some thing from ps2. The story and combat are ok, but this just feels like they were told to make this game and hurried through it to get to the end.

The combat is just copied from assassins odyssey and changed slightly. It even has the horse glitch from origins and odyssey, where the rider moves strangely from time to time, showing that they just copied their own system.

It’s the first time ive ever seen a bug transfer to a different game! Typical Ubisoft.

Recommended* if you liked FC3 or FC4, or if you like beautiful-looking open world FPS titles with a strong story. *Not recommended* if you disliked (or got bored of) FC3 or FC4 – you’ll find this too much of the same thing.

Good points: + Beautiful rendition of the diverse habitats and wildlife (particularly flora!) of Montana + A strong and arguably timely storyline, with some great themes (incl. a much better narrative “gotcha” than Bioshock) + Classic FC chaos from the intersection of weaponry, enemies, wildlife and friendly NPCs + A truly fantastic soundtrack, including the bluegrass fundamentalist songs you never knew you liked Bad points: – Rather reminiscent of previous FC titles (although definitely the most refined) – While the main storyline missions are great, side missions can get a bit repetitive and grindy – Classic FC chaos from the intersection of weaponry, enemies, wildlife and friendly NPCs – Misses anything like FC3’s narrative arc for its player character For me, the storyline is what makes this title.

It has a number of strong contemporary resonances, and builds up nicely to a very fitting end. The detail is exceptional, with a surprisingly well thought-out cult mythology, and enemies with viewpoints that you can’t entirely disagree with.

I particularly liked a segment on conditioning that’s used to good effect in the story. The various characters – and their backstories – that you meet on the journey are pretty great too. For me, they straddled the comedy / tragedy pretty well, although your mileage may vary.

More generally, the Americana setting with its militia, gun nuts, preppers, brainwashing cults, family values, and apple pie really appealed to me. While it’s still a frequently absurd game (especially when the patented FC chaos arrives), it gets most things just right.

It’d be remiss not to mention its soundtrack. It’s absolutely fantastic – mixing solid original songs from Dan Romer, excellent “reimagined” ambient versions by Hammock, and with fabulous versions sung by a choir.

They pulled the stops out, and it really adds to the overall atmosphere of the game. Who knew that propaganda songs from an apocalyptic Christian cult could be so good?.

The Father and his disciples have found you wanted to join their ranks and help them on their mission to brainwash and drug the easily manipulated people of Hope County in Montana. You read that right, folks.

The Far Cry franchise has deviated from its primal and tribal roots and set up shop in a remote and Southern sounding County of Montana in the USA. The Father is a captivating villain begging you to join him in his madness, chaos, and Bliss infused world where he is the leader that will save you from eternal damnation so long as you atone physically for your sins, inhale the Bliss, and obey his commands no matter what they entail.

Battle alongside the rebels of Hope County as they hide out in bomb shelters, stockpile money and weapons, and try to save your fellow police comrades from the torture and mind manipulation of the God-fearing, fanatical folk of the doomsday cult Eden’s Gate.

Joseph and his siblings Faith (not really his sister most likely his sexual companion), Jacob the military man, and John (the Baptist) are the main antagonists for your character to battle. You play as a rookie cop caught up in a terrifying world where no one on the outside can help you.

The opening sequence of the game has a foreboding scene in which the Father sings Amazing Grace to you. Fellow gamers, I highly recommend adding this to your collection. Open world, tough outpost takedown missions, and all out war.

Bring it on, Ubisoft.

This game is DOPE! I was never a fan of 1st person shooters. For my birthday, my wife asked what I wanted and I figured I’d try something different. I was pleasantly surprised with the story line and game play.

It wasn’t too difficult to learn the controls. The story brings you in and keeps you hooked. There’s so much to do as far as gameplay is concerned. You can go straight through the story or complete side missions along the way.

For the price, I couldn’t have asked for a better game. I’m a huge fan of this game and am anxiously awaiting Far Cry 6 when it drops in October.

The gameplay is essentially the same as Black Flag but set in North America. Which is not a bad thing because I liked the gameplay of Black Flag a lot but there is way less grinding to upgrade your ship this time around.

I really enjoyed how the game showed the world through the eyes of the Templars. For the first time in the series I realized that maybe there is no good side or bad side but just two different groups of people trying to achieve the same goal in different ways but both can be a little extreme.

That is until Unity just takes the Templars back to being pure evil. But I loved how this game ties into the last two games in the franchise and then into Unity. I felt like the graphics were on par with AC3, maybe even a little downgraded than AC3 at times or maybe it’s just me.

All in all this was a solid Assassin’s Creed game I hope it’s not the last we see of Shay Cormac. Just finished Unity and he was no where to be seen. Don’t want to spoil anything but he should I have made an appearance seeing as how he was involved in setting the wheels in motion for the next game.

Its refreshing. jaw dropping tale that anyone in modern day can relate to. Travel North America As one of the most feared Assassin hunters. Shay , betrayed his greedy assassin mentor and friends over earthquakes that appears to only happen when he was sent on certain missons to procure what seems to be pieces of eden or ancient artifacts.

after a sorrowful but necessary event to hide the maps to the artifacts from his assassin brothers. shay was shot off the ledge and disappeared all together with the map into the freezing ocean. rescued by a Templar general “George Monro” shay was not forced to give the secrets to these places but often conversates on how the assassins will stop at nothing to procure these items that cause massive death after retrieval, does shay have the balls to stop his friends , will the Templars betray shay , are they using shay.

all these q’s are answered in a non corny way ; A young and Bright Haythem kenway makes his way back into the series before his darker self is revealed later on in AC3, teaching and convening with shay , we also see more of Benjamin Franklin and experience the constant threat of assassins hiding in the midst of crowds hunting you down.

soo awesomely annoying yet , so empowering. Hunting down Assassin captain and being boarded yourself by pirates. You can truly sympathize with the Templars at this current time ; can we say the same for Abstergo ??? BTW 11th century Templar costume , Amazing.

When I saw the first trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, i was thrilled. For once, you get to play as one of the bad guys. The idea for the game was great! But. The game was the biggest letdown you could imagine for a game.

Everything i didn’t like in Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag had returned. Sailing with your ship till you die of boredom, and hundreds of little islands with treasure chests you are supposed to loot if you want 100% completion.

At that point, the game doesn’t feel like a good way to spend your time and relax, it feels more like something you HAVE TO DO. And that is something I don’t think a good game is. I mean, maybe if you did like the sailing and naval warfare with other ships, maybe this could be your game.

They had improved the battle mechanics for that, although I didn’t find any differences, because I was so concentrated on hating every aspect of the seafaring. The story was. decent, at most. And it ended so badly I was about to hire a hitman to kill the guy who wrote the story.

(Not really, but just trying to make a point) At the time I completed the game, the completion was something between 60-70%. And I had been looting a lot of chests and doing those little side-quests that repeat themselves all the time.

So, my conclusion of this, was that the story holds only 60% of the game, and the rest is just free roaming and trying to find those damned chests, while losing your sanity. The game really felt like I was playing Black Flag all over again.

I mean, they didn’t even change the animations for the bar fight scenes!!!.

Graphics are no better than older games especially facial features. Gameplay hasn’t changed at all. Disappointed but happy i didn’t pay full price.

There is alot to do but about a third of the way through it gets repetitive. Many of the side missions lack variation. And about halfway through the story missions the cracks begin to show in mission design.

Also the game sports many bugs ranging from amusing to downright annoying. On the plus side, the setting provides a breath of fresh air. It has a vast open world with plenty of things to keep players occupied, and has beautiful scenery that can be explored through multiple land, sea, and air vehicles.

The open world allows players to choose which approach to take with certain missions. Will you go in guns blazing, leaving a trail of cartel members in your wake? Or will you scout out the area, taking enemies out slowly and quietly, without them even knowing you were there? In most cases, how you tackle an an objective is up to you.

The game is meant to be played with up to three friends online, but for those who prefer a solo experience, three AI companions will join the player. Though not perfect, the AI squadmates are far more competent than those seen in games like COD and Battlefield.

All in all, the game is pretty solid for those who are looking for an open world and responsive shooter experience.

The Division even the upcoming second The Division (should be modeled after this game) by NOT being online required in a open world setting. I mention this in a Wildlands review because Ubisoft doesn’t do that bad a job with Tom Clancy games, it is just when online required is involved.

Now to the Wildlands review: First thing I’ll say about the actual gameplay, is that I love it. I’ve always liked third person games, but tend to prefer first person aiming. Third person is great for running around, and being able to see where you are in relation to obstacles and hazards.

It can be difficult sometimes to determine this in first person games. First person aiming is better because it’s more like lining up a real sight picture, right down the sights. Wildlands does exactly this.

I really would’ve preferred to have the ability to jump, rather than climb only, but once you get used to that limitation, it’s not as noticeable. I found driving vehicles to be very fun, and each different vehicle feels, different.

Different acceleration, different speeds, different handling… different. Driving also changes if you’ve got a blown tire, or two, or three, or four. With updates, the helicopters have become fun to fly now too.

The original set up was odd and quirky to figure out. The updated handling is exactly what I’ve come to expect from years of playing games with helicopters in them. Much more intuitive and manageable.

And once you figure out how to avoid the SAM sites, it’s no problem. Mostly. You WILL get shot down from time to time. Motorcycles are great fun, but be aware that if you are going full speed and hit something, you will get thrown off the bike and you will die.

While the vehicles overall feel very real, you can drive a car off of a hundred foot cliff and land with no damage to yourself, and very little to the car. A minor gripe, really. There are fast travel points, but with as much fun as it is to navigate the landscape, I found myself rarely using them.

I may be in the minority with this, but for me, sometimes the journey is as fun as the destination. The missions have a variety of different goals. From stealth infiltration and kidnapping to outright assault and mayhem.

There are some missions that are repeated (interrogating enemies for intel, as an example) but I don’t feel like it’s any worse than any other typical game. I found all of the activities to be fun, fitting to the story and setting, and never once felt bored while doing them, even if it was repeatedly.

Part of the reason I think I never got bored, is that you can do missions in a ‘do what you want, when you want, how you want’ kind of way. Just because you are kidnapping an enemy Lieutenant for the second or third time, doesn’t mean you can’t do it in a different way.

Take a truck, stuff him in the trunk of a car, or evac in a helicopter. It’s up to you. That kind of flexibility is absolutely a blast. Planning the mission is just as big of a part as execution of the mission.

Recon the area and make your own plan on how you think you can best accomplish your goal. Or how you think you’ll enjoy it more. Snipe people from a distance, distract the enemies with a flare while you sneak in, find a back way in to the compound taking out lights and sticking to the shadows, or charge right in guns-a-blazing.

Disable the alarms and fire as few shots as necessary or let them call in back up to get a proper firefight going. If you aren’t having fun playing this, it’s your own fault, and you just aren’t trying.

The game is not short, but I definitely found myself wanting more, when it was over. Really more of a sign of how much I enjoyed the game rather than feeling like I wasn’t getting a full experience. While there isn’t a “New Game +” mode (starting over will reset your accomplishments, skills, and gear) you can replay any completed missions, at any time.

When I wanted to replay the game, I just replayed the missions one after the other, and since there is no ‘correct’ order to completing the different regions the first time through, you can do them in whatever order you please the second or third time as well.

The main reasons FarCry games are fun for me, are the large maps and sandbox type ‘go anywhere, do anything’ style of gameplay, along with the ability to approach missions in a manner of your choosing.

There is a goal, but how you get there, which direction you approach from, etc. are up to you. The main reasons that Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 was a decent TC shooters was the character and weapon customizing ability and fun gameplay.

I really don’t care much at all about online PvP gameplay. The Division and Rainbow Six: Siege did very little for me, plus story means more to me than online gaming does. With Wildlands not only do I get full online co-op campaign, but you can have multiple people join the game.

Unlike the FarCry online gameplay, there isn’t a limit to the distance between players. You can be on completely different sides of the map, fast travel independently of one another, and even complete different goals at the same time.

Just another way that you can assess the situation and attack the game how you please. Wildlands took everything I love about R6:V2 and FC games and combined them. If someone had asked me what I would want from a Ghost Recon game, this is it.

Aside from a few minor gripes, this game is about as perfect of a game as I could’ve expected it to be. With weekly challenges you get a little more content here and there, and extra rewards just for playing the game.

Even aside from rewards for weekly challenges, I foresee myself playing this game for a very long time to come. I hope that any future installments emulate and add to the gameplay and style of this spectacular title, and don’t take steps backward.

I have been a Fan of Tom Clancy style of games for a while. I knew going into this it would not be Rainbow six or Rainbow six vegas but, that is the type of feel I was expecting after the news of the cancelled rainbow six patriots, and they were concentrating efforts on Siege which was not good as advertised.

My pros for game:1. Open world interaction style of game where you chose pace of missions and how your team should go in and attack mission but some become vey generic and high risk for little reward.

2. Yes it is cool friends can squad up with you vs. NPC’s which can either mess up a sneak attack or force you to make a move you don’t want to do because you hit the wrong button lol! ( I Will get into this in a minute) 3.

Weapons and custom them to your own needs and likes galore! Cons: 1. The open world can send you into missions you are not ready for or mess up the storyline a bit if your team is not equipped or ready yet because those UNIDAD soldiers will pop out of nowhere and go all SWAT team GTA style on you quick when you are trying to plot a mission or a NPC on your squad will pop off at the wrong time and bingo you are in a fire fight.

2. Getting back to my title I was disappointed that they did not add the elements of Siege and Rainbow six Vegas of having your team of having the option to stack up on certain doors blast it open and use a under the door camera to peak in or remote camera to check hard to reach places while you engage from another door.

I tried on a couple of side missions but NPC wait until you are near dead to come in and fight while you look for info or hack into computers for intel. 3. The buttons get a little tricky to cycle through when you are giving commands on that wheel thing and for the options of throwing a lethal weapon and using different options on your gun gets interesting, 4.

As much as I like the custom mod guns, some of them you cannot mod which is stupid because why even give me that gun then lol! Fight a cartel boss and see what I am talking about. 5. The AI enemy will annoy of how fast they come out of nowhere to support or will be dumb as nails where they are right next to you and not see you.

I could go on but I think you get the picture lol! Game fly this, play at your friend house first or hey try it at RED box before you buy! Good luck everyone!.

Pagan Min is a nasty piece of work. He is the vain and arrogant despot that welcomes you to the fictional Himalayan nation of Kyrat with a depraved display of violence. Min is a horrific man, and you are meant to despise him–or at least, it would seem so until he ends his tirade by inviting you to “tear stuff up” while The Clash takes over the soundtrack, preparing you for a power fantasy just seconds after the game has purposefully turned your stomach.

Afterwards, Min covers your head with a sack and escorts you to his opulent residence. There, in sight of a bowl of monkey heads ready to be cracked open and engorged upon, He again demonstrates his ruthlessness by plunging a fork into the back of your local guide and forcing him to wail out the window for help.

Far Cry 4 is loaded with such tonal shifts, so many that you might suspect the game is trying to make a point with them. The writing takes rare turns into the self-aware; one character, for instance, calls out the hypocrisy of an American intruding on the affairs of a foreign state, pointing guns and splattering blood in the name of “doing the right thing.

” But if Far Cry 4 was meant to parody the violent themes it depicts, it does a poor job of it. You are Ajay Ghale, an American who has come to Kyrat to scatter your departed mother’s ashes per her wishes, though it isn’t long before you have taken up the cause of The Golden Path, the same separatist group your mother helped found.

Where matters of the rebellion are concerned, Far Cry 4 keeps things serious, often forcing you to choose between the wishes of the current Golden Path co-leaders, and locking yourself into one mission while foregoing its counterpart.

These leaders–Amita and Sabal–both have good intentions, seeking only the best for their impoverished nation, though Sabal’s insistence at one point that Amita is using her gender as a manipulation tactic makes it clear that he, and the game itself, don’t always represent meaningful progress.

I quit writing game reviews because the youth of our society is suffering hard from Fanboyism. Negative reviews are shunned and ridiculed, even if they’re spot-on accurate. “You don’t like what I like so I’m marking your review as unhelpful even though I own the product already and completely misunderstand the purpose of this system.

“Anyways, as this was is a product I was pretty stoked for, I felt compelled to dust off my opinions and do the whole “game review” thing again. This is essentially Far Cry 3-and-a-half. We meet a psycopathic antagonist right off the bat, and get tossed into a chaotic story in the midst of a tropical environment.

Within hours we’re climbing radio towers and liberating outposts, hunting wild animals to craft basic improvements, just as we did in the last game. It’s all very, very familiar. Now, I can’t in-good-conscience climb onto my soap box and say this is bad, as Far Cry 3 was – in my humble opinion – one of the greatest video games to grace the now-dying previous generation of consoles.

What I can say however is that this is a new console generation, and a new game, from a reputable developer, and I have to think that we should be getting more bang for our buck these days. Far Cry 4 is just more of what we loved in Far Cry 3.

There are more outposts to raid in whatever manner you see fit. There are more animals to hunt, there are a few new enemy types, a few new guns, and a few new vehicles. The grapling hook addition is nice, but it’s still only allowed in pre-determined locations, making path-finding still feel very scripted and guided.

The new “Karma” game-mechanic has some merit – where you’re given the chance to intervene in small, skurmish-based confrontations for a chance to earn some extra scratch, as well as tokens which can be used to call in backup when you find yourself in too much hot water.

However, these events seem to crop up a bit too frequently; sneaking in to an outpost and suddenly there’s gunfire going off behind me as a skirmish spawns just a few yards behind me. Even worse, the guards at the outpost are completely obvlivious to it – imagine the “wow” factor if a few wandered off to join the fight, completely changing the plan-of-attack on the outpost.

The map is allegedly huge, but FEELS very small. For example, when hunting, you travel to an area of the map that shows an image of the animal you need skins from. You expect that you’ll be sloughing through the woods for a few minutes at least, only to realize that the hunting “area” is only a few yards off of a road, and when you DO get there, you find that a karma event has spawned there, or at the least a group of rebels are standing around, shooting at everything that moves, and as a result, the game engine refuses to spawn the one thing you’re actually there for.

And speaking of animals, they’ve become something of a pain. I can’t take two steps in any direction without being blindsided by the quitest Rhinos I’ve ever seen, and every attempt to hunt will be interrupted by Eagles, swooping down to nick off a few healthpoints without any type of game mechanic to allow you to kill them.

Now, at this point it’s customary to see reviewers telling you what you should do – “Don’t buy this” or “rent it instead” – but I’m going to skip that step. Far Cry 3 was epic. Far Cry 4 is basically more of the same.

It’s ordering a box of the same chicken nuggets you always get and adventurously ordering two different sauces.

Great, true open-world games are few and far between at the moment. And whilst it is true that Far Cry 4 serves up more of the same when it cames to the storyline and gaming, it remains a delight to explore its expansive universe in whatever manner you wish.

There’s so much to do this could easily swallow up hundreds of hours of your life. Exploring, hunting, collecting, using whatever play style you favour means boredom is kept at bay. And whilst it doesn’t quite reach the giddy heights of GTA V or Fallout 4, its richly detailed universe (ably supported by fantastic flights of fancy into Shangrila) ensures that there is almost too much to do.

An exhilerating, if violent, delight!.

As of this review, I’m about 20% through the game. My early impression was to compare the gameplay to Styx and Splinter Cell, but as I got further I thought of two other games it fits better: Far Cry (3 & 4) and inFAMOUS.

As with inFAMOUS, you scale buildings, run across rooftops and liberate territories. You also earn skill points to level up your characters. Several of the game mechanics for character movement were very similar, such as climbing and jumping from high places.

Now add in Far Cry where you search for treasure chests, enter restricted areas, disable alarms, free captives, craft items, commandeer vehicles (aka carriages), and execute a multitude of side missions.

Also relative to Far Cry are the many quirks and bugs, such as water buckets moving on their own, characters missing the upper half of their body, and strange objects randomly floating across the screen.

Similarly, the enemy goons all look the same with only a handful of repetitive character designs. That said, there are many of the plusses too, such as the elaborate settings, beautiful landscapes and impressive world scale.

In the beginning, I made the mistake of tackling the story in a very guided manner. I ran through the tutorials and reached checkpoints as quickly as possible, passing by any obstacle in my way. Because of this, I didn’t get pulled into the settings or storyline.

After a while, I realized I needed to tackle the game less like Uncharted and treat it more like Skyrim. Basically, I slowed down — took my time, inspected buildings, listened to crowd dialogue, read wall posters, explored the historical characters and settings, checked character profiles and tackled more of the minute tasks such as searching for treasure chests and freeing children.

Slowing down my pacing gave me a deeper level of enjoyment; the game become more about exploration than a guided tour. At times, the controls felt jumpy. For instance, occasionally I performed an execution where the camera panned away from my character and I could barely see what was going on.

The need for combining keys for common actions messed me up in the beginning as well, and I more than once ended up jumping up a wall when I intended to leap at an enemy instead. But the longer I played the game, the better I got at the mechanics; and thus they were less of an issue.

Unlike Far Cry and inFAMOUS, you switch between two different characters. This helps to keep the story fresh, but it also means you are leveling up two different people. A few times I swore I had already gotten such-and-such an ability, only to realize it was on the other character.

Even though the leveling up isn’t shared between Evie and Jacob Frye, thankfully the items you purchase are (except for items like Jacob’s belt, which Evie doesn’t use). If you buy guns and brass knuckles, both can use them [assuming their level is high enough].

Good game, similar to the third Part, very good! Unfortunately, something difficult, otherwise nicely done. The gameplay itself is well thought out, but unfortunately sometimes it chops. The graph has, unfortunately, a few mistakes, but otherwise it is beautifully done and very acceptable.

The characters are well thought out but unfortunately a bit monotonous. Otherwise, this game is highly recommended. Do not rely on this conclusion, but to play the game itself and to then assess: My conclusion is :).

I was definitely skeptical about this game when one of my friends first made me play it but the game definitely turned out to be a lot of fun. I bought it for myself within a week and have been playing at least twice a week ever since.

My friends and I still play multi-player games together and go on campaigns in single-player. It’s a really great role-playing game and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

This was such a good game. I remember seeing my brother playing it and I wanted to try it myself. The controls are easy to understand and the plot is really nice. The character designs are so amazing.

Graphics aren’t as good as they are today, obviously, but back when we first got it we thought it had amazing graphics.

AC Brotherhood picks up exactly where the second installment left off. As a gamer who truly enjoyed AC 2, I do consider this third chapter as a natural advance in the narrative. After the final confrontation between Ezio and his templar nemesis, Rodrigo Borgia, whose life was mercifully spared by Ezio in the second installment, the templar and his son Cesare Borgia mount a full scale attack on Ezio`s estate in Tuscany, razing the assassin`s villa and compelling him to travel to Rome, the hub of templar activity, in order to settle the score once and for all.

Determined to visit justice upon Cesare, Ezio will have to carry out a number of missions throughout all 12 districts of Rome, which will bring him into contact with several characters from AC2 and new entries as well.

In this respect, a remarkable introduction to the third chapter is the presence of twelve Borgia towers overseeing the districts, each representing Cesare`s control of the area. These lofty barbicans are guarded by one captain, whom you are required to assassinate in order to burn the building to the ground, and finally wrest control of the area from the enemy.

These towers are very much a key element of the game because destructing them allows you to open up the area for business, and so renovate blacksmiths, tailors, banks, stables, which in turn will allow you to update your armour, weaponry, collect income, and so much more.

But the real innovation of these towers is the fact that as you liberate districts, you will be able to recruit assassins as more citizens will then turn against the oppressor and decide to join your cause.

In terms of gameplay, mechanics have not changed much from the previous chapter. The bulk of missions is pretty similar in nature to those from AC2, with a number of innovations nonetheless. As aforementioned, one of the major changes is the presence of an assassin`s guild.

As you liberate areas, more citizens will be available for recruit whom you can call upon at any time, especially when Ezio becomes embroiled into combat and the odds are stacked against him. As soon as you recruit citizens by saving them from Borgia soldiers, they will automatically join your guild and you will then have to train them up to the rank of assassin by sending them off to complete contracts throughout Europe.

The harder a mission , the faster they rank up. On the downside, however, your options are quite limited here. While you can call them upon to even the odds during a fight, you can neither control any of them nor follow them on any of their missions, and since combat is not exactly that hard, one might well argue that there was no reason to tip the scales in Ezio`s favour as it might well make the game a bit less challenging! The real innovation of the game, however, is the introduction of a multiplayer mode, which is both refreshing and inventive and quite addictive.

The basic idea is that you are given a target and you have to assassinate them, and yet Brotherhood has four multiplayer modes which allow you to work in groups, be a pursuer and a target at the same time and so much more.

What is more, while most of the action in single player takes place in Rome, in multiplayer you have a plethora of different locations at your disposal, including more familiar locations with AC2. In conclusion, Brotherhood is certainly a great game and a natural choice for fans of the series, and of AC2 in particular.

However, because this game really was designed as the natural continuation to AC2 my recommendation to those who are new to the series is to play AC2 first and then Brotherhood to make sure they make the most out of this awesome title.

The gameplays good and adds new features from the previous game AC2. You are still with Ezio and I like how the game continues the story with no gap holes. There are not many cons apart from the original faults from the previous 2 games such as awkward controls and running up or jumping off randomly from buildings.

I also ran into a few glitches around 4-5 during my 2-3 week playing of the game where I had to restart the game on my Xbox one. Great buy for me as I bought it very cheap and it was definitively worth the buy considering the amount you can do in the game and with the assassin brotherhood feature now as well.
