Effectiveness is mostly tentative at this point since testing will take some time. Despite the package statement to the effect of ” a little extra won’t hurt”- I find that hard to believe since star brite caused swelling in the graduated syringe seal that I used to measure it out for small containers of gas-oil mixture for my 2 cycles.

This could be problematic since the syringe seal is made of a similar material as their diaphragm’s flexures. This brings me to a more serious issue- the dosage small for protection- yet no mixing table is provided.

How much per gallpn/ 5 Gallons/ 1 liter/ 500ml. OK- the math is pretty easy to make up a usage table but I unfortunately believe it is outside the skillset of too many Americans.

Years ago a out board mechanic that cleaned the carburator on my Merc said to use this stuff with every fill up, and it would take care of the problems caused by ethenol fuel in infrequently used engines.

Have used it since and haven’t had any issues. I guess it works good. Well worth the price.

2004 Harley Touring with 42k miles. Ive never used a cleaner before on this bike. It made a huge difference in the first ten miles! Smoother throttle response, engine sounds like its not chocking for gas now when I full throttle it.

I just stopped and I ride 60 miles after adding half a bottle to a five gallon tank. Every mile feels better than the last! I also cleaned my air filter for the first time in tens of thousands of miles so that has something to do with the dramatic improvement but I know for a fact that this product is at least 50% if the reason for the positive change.

I noticed a difference quickly and even the acceleration has improved as time went on and thats just with 1 dose. I had issues with dirt in the carbs and the bike would not tick over without stooling then it would be difficult to start.

Now its like a new bike with no issues what so ever. for me it is worth every penny. Im buying another to give it a further cleaning. If you have dirty carbs try this before you spend money getting your carbs cleaned by a mechanic.

Have been using this product for about 3 weeks and so far l can’t really give my opinion on this item. I will say that I have put this product in a lot of my gasoline equipment so in time l am sure l will have a better option of this product.

This is THE real deal. Chevron invented one of the best intake valve/injector cleaners on the market and uses it in their gasoline. It’s expensive because it isn’t snake oil, just a concentrated version of the stuff in their gasoline.

Recommended use is one bottle, full tank of fuel, every 1,000 miles, whether you use their gas (or other Top Tier Rated fuels like Texaco, Mobil, Union 76, Sinclair etc. ) or under-fortified off-brands.

Some other companies now have formulas as good as Techron, but you have to research their website and reviews since they sell cheaper versions that don’t do much cleaning at all next to their more expensive formulas.

Best Stabilizer and carburetor cleaner without having an ultrasonic machine. It also is a great water emulsifier.

Added the recommended quantity to the existing (E5 grade) petrol in my motor cycle which is stored in a garage overwinter and was had become hesitant to start and ran a bit lumpy. I never use the new E10 petrol which is harmful/corrosive to the tank, seals and fuel injection system.

The Star Tron additive immediately remedied the start up problem and the engine is now running perfectly. I use this product for peace of mind in other bikes and classic cars and the lawnmower and petrol run garden machinery.

My wood chipper runs a 23. 5 hp kohler commandpro. The engine is about 2 years old and has run about 120 hours, just barely broken in for a kohler. The engine had not been started in about a year and I needed to use my machine.

There was no stabilizer or other additive in the 10% ethanol year old gas in the machine’s tank. I tried for an hour to get it to start but had no luck. I found this STAR TRON stuff online and got some from walmart.

I added a couple of ounces to the 5 gallons in the tank, took the fuel line loose from the engine, and turned the key to run the fuel pump. This pumped year old gas from the tank up to the engine. I reconnected the fuel line and hit the key to start.

After 20 seconds, the engine STARTED. I had to feather the choke to off over a period of 5 minuets but now the engine runs as well as ever. Amazing product! It saved me a few hours and a lot of hassle removing and cleaning out the carb.

Great Product especially for small engines. Stabilizes fuel for up to 2 plus years! Cleans and mitigates bad effects of ethanol on small engines. Recommended to us when we bought a chainsaw and had difficulty getting it started and running properly! Worked perfectly! Have since use in lawnmowers, trimmers, lawn tractors, snowblower, and boat motors! Great Results!! Terrific product a little goes a long way! Just restarted the old boat motor and chainsaw after long two plus season storage all worked and started right up!.

Well -I can only say it seems to work. I have a 2004 chevy silverado 1500 with a 5. 3 v8. I poured the whole bottle in at fill up and made a trip about one hundred and fifty miles and that included a trip over the mountain and back almost five thousand feet about seven miles to the top.

I think that the octane additive made the engine run a little smoother. I also think that since i was not pulling my trailer I was not really getting the benefit of the extra boost i was expecting. I think I would see a much bigger benefit if i had a load on the truck but the truck did run good with the additive.

I also think that i did get slightly better fuel mileage than with out the additive. Also i was just running regular gas with ethanol. That is all I can say about it at this time and I would like to try it again when I take a trip with my 27 ft RV and I think i would see more benefit.

Another thing is I do not know what the difference would be with hi test gas with more octane. Possibly running hi test and then adding the octane booster would make a big difference especially under load.

I was also concerned if this would damage the catalytic converter on the truck and they say it will not. I hope this helps someone decide if its for them.

After disassembling my Onan generators carb twice and finding a yellowish gel plugging up the bowl and jets, and the problem was starting to recur a third time, and reading about the ethanol phase separation on your web site, I transfer pumped all the gas in my 32 gallon tank to 5 gallon cans and refilled the tank with fresh gasoline, changing out the water separator fuel filter, and adding a double strength mix of the K 100.

(4- 8 oz. bottles) I decided not to pull the carb again but did manage to get the generator started , and it was still surging and running badly after 15 minutes. I shut it off and left it over night with the new K 100 treated gas in the carb, and came out next day and started it, only to find after a couple of bucks and kicks, it ran super smoothly, like a kitten.

I filled my old car with the old gas and added K 100 to the tank and haven’t had a problem. I’m sold. Thank you.

Started using K100 in the ethanol battle with 2 cycle engines. It is better than stabil and seafoam. It’s all I use for additive now. Best example: Old mini-mac chainsaw. Would only start with starting spray fluid after months of sitting.

Now starts on 2nd or 3rd pull after sitting in the shed for months. I use in grass trimmers; leaf blowers; riding and push mowers; power saws; snow blower, snowmobile, chipper machine; power washer; motorcycle; jet ski; three outboard motors; generator and vehicles.

Yup, it works.

I’ve tried other makes of fuel cleaners/ additives and they haven’t worked, a few weeks ago I was at my local garage when a Liqui Moly rep turned up. I explained my ongoing problem with my motorbike he said that he would guarantee this will work.

I tried it and it work instantly, great product. I’ve bought a second lot for myself and friends, BRILL.

Currently on the first tank of gas with Liqui on a bike that has been standing for quite a while and has been “popping” a lot when first started. After 30 miles already seems bit smoother but only time will tell.

I’ve used Liqui Molly in a past with good results.

I didn’t winterize my John Deere D130. So, sitting over the winter with 3/4 of a tank of gas. Then in the spring topped off the tank and wouldn’t start. Drained the battery 3 times cranking. (yes, stupid) I bought this product.

The gas tank size for the tractor is 2. 5 gallons. I emptied half a bottle into the full tank. 2 days passed. I jump started the tractor. It cranked a little bit but I could smell that something was happening.

Fumes!! It kicked over and ran great. Again all of this work is because of my stupidity. I will winterize in the future and use this product to condition all of my gas purchases for my equipment.

This product is fantastic I use it my Harley as well as all my other vehicles. Added security for your fuel systems and engine cleaning safely. Do your own checking but this product is exceptional

The day before Hurricane Sandy hit in Oct. 2012 we bought a portable generator so that we could keep our sump pumps and a few other things running if the power went out. After the storm was over I knew leaving unused ethanol gas sitting in the generator wouldn’t be a good idea, but trying to siphon it out was a real pain in the butt.

I bought some Star Brite and added it to the gas in the generator tank, dragged the generator around the driveway a couple of times so the gas and the Star Brite would slosh around and mix together a bit, then let the generator run for awhile to get the mixture through the carb before flipping the gas petcock off and letting the fuel line run dry.

After that I put the generator away in the garage and never used it again. Last week my brother-in-law asked if he could buy it from us since we don’t need it (we had a whole house standby generator installed not long after buying the portable).

I told him it had been sitting with the same gas in the tank for nearly two years and I wasn’t sure what kind of shape it was going to be in. But lo and behold, it started right up and ran just fine – it has to be because of the Star Brite!.

A better design is needed, either a quick pull tab opener or another way to open with out getting it on your hands/fingers. Also if you got a tank fill that’s in a well (2016 Goldwing here) you are guaranteed to spill this down the side of your bike, not a happy camper here.

Maybe a smaller neck that you can cap with your finger (I use finger cots to keep it from getting on me) then you can cover it prior to putting it in your tank.

I tour extensively throughout North America on a Harley-Davidson CVO Ultra Classic. The 110 cu. in. engine has been modified to improve its performance, primarily to increase mid range torque, essential for the fully loaded / two up riding that’s my norm.

My route preference is always far off the beaten path, as far from the interstates as possible. Quite often, I wont find the premium gas that my bike needs or the octane of the purchased fuel is questionable.

AMSOIL Motorcycle Octane Boost solves the problem. Simple, pour one into tank, motor is happy again, we ride on!. I don’t leave home without it, beats all the others out there!.

Changed the fluids on two holes (Crank & Tranny) on my 2016 Harley Softail Deluxe. Used Amsoil fluids for both. This was the first fluid change I personally did since the factory warranty at 1,000 miles.

Factory had used some other synthetic fluid which was an improvement from non-synthetic. But what an incredible difference after doing my own and switching to Amsoil. My moto seriously runs much cooler and the tranny feels great when shifting.

I fell in love my bike all over again. Plan on continuing to use and will soon try out the Amsoil primary fluid.

Great product. Purchased for my Yamaha FZS 600 Fazer (1999). It had been running very roughly (low revs, inconsistent tickover, low speed running, hesitation etc). Did all the usual stuff – new plugs, checked plug caps,coils etc (all within spec) even purchased new TPS (ouch!) but the problem remained.

It was during a conversation with a mechanic that I found out that regular unleaded petrol had up to 10% Ethanol in it. Apparently it goes off after a month and leaves a residue particularly in the pilot jets (hence the poor low speed running).

The bike was due to go into the garage for a carb cleaning session (about 2 hours labour ~100). Read about Profi fuel so decided to give it a try. Took a third of the can (90mls) to the garage and filled up with Shell Vmax.

Pleasantly surprised – running really well after 20 miles; by 50 miles the engine is as sweet as a nut! Perfect low speed running, no hesitation and constant tickover. In summary – if you are experiencing poor running give this product a try first, rather than last – you could save a great deal of cash on unnecessary parts and labour costs.

Also good to treat petrol if laying your bike up for the winter.

I was told about this product by a friend a few years ago. He put some in his motorcycle fuel tank every spring after the winter lay-up to clean the fuel system. Id got a bike that hadnt run in two years and when I first started it, it coughed and spluttered.

I put some of this in the tank and gave the bike a run. It ran rough for a few miles but then started to improve. After 20 miles it was running fine and even idled nicely.
