I found the other low ratings and descriptions of the product to be in line with my own experience. I’d like to add that I taste zero seasoning in these “seasoned” “ground beef” discs. I tried cooking these pucks at least three different ways and they tasted no bueno time after time.

I even tried putting my own seasonings and sauces onto these coasters, yet they always seemed to REPEL anything I added! What the heck? Also, why do these become oblong shaped after cooking? Not a big deal compared to the lack of taste, but still weird.

don’t waste your money or time. No clue what these things are made from. there’s No Way it’s n beef. Indistinguishable. very odd tasteless super greasy nightmare. someone needs to investigate these burgers for falsifying ingredients.

I bought these for moms 78th Birthday party. There was a lot of no shows, so I had at least half the box left over and thawed. When I got home I decided to fry it up then freeze it cooked. I kinda crumbled it up and let me tell you I’ve never ever seen hamburger like this.

I was literally so grossed out I end up throwing it all away and vowed to never buy them again. I’d prefer to pay the extra for a better quality. I love most products I get from Sam’s club but this is not one of them.

I was astounded how much it ACTUALLY tasted like real meat. It almost tasted like a regular burger more than regular burgers do – and all plant based! “Impossible” is right! I was skeptical but I am a convert – my kids and I get these almost every week now and feel good about not only NOT eating red meat, but also eating something much healthier for our bodies, animals and the planet.

If you’re like me and are on the fence about whether or not to give this product a try, I’d definitely recommend trying IMPOSSIBLE BURGER PATTIES MADE FROM PLANTS over any other brand. You won’t be disappointed.

If you grill them, they are even better! I am going to try these on family members who would never swear off meat and see if they can even tell the difference.

Don’t season with anything salty, even a bit. These already have a bunch of salt in them. The flavor can’t be changed unlike with fresh ground beef, and you will never be able to turn it into any other flavor than what it is, which shouldn’t be the case with just meat and salt.

It implies the age of the meat, which is known to deteriorate the flavor, however these take it a step far. I was hoping I’d get something like an A&W frozen patties, which tasted amazing with a bit of seasoning salt.

These make me want to vomit.

Biggest issue: too much gristle. I get some hard, unchewable bits in every other bite, and thats too much. They say to cook them up from frozen. But when I do, the burger is too dry even though I cook it medium.

Better if thawed, but that takes time and makes this a lot less convenient. Flavor is kind of bland. Its less flavor and lower quality than i get from other warehouse club brands, and not what I’d expect from Angus.

So horrible I hardly know where to start! We normally buy the freshly ground 90% lean ground beef, but decided to try these for our family’s annual 4th of July gathering to save a little time and work.

What a mistake! Texture is absolutely awful. My guess is the use of some sort of binder not clearly listed in the ingredients. Taste was very bland as well. Never again!.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis is the only plant-based burger I’ve tried (and I’ve tried at least a dozen brands) that is NOT MUSHY! It’s also juicy and has that satisfying mouth-full chewiness that real burgers have, which is close to a miracle for a vegetarian or vegan burger.

I also like that it’s not composed of soy protein isolates and other genetically engineered rubbish, it’s mostly pea protein and other vegetable ingredients such as beets, which contribute to the juiciness.

It’s also not full of grains. I think the juiciness comes from the beet components. Really the closest thing to a real burger you can get. I’ve also read good things about kelp-based burgers but they’re so expensive plus they’re not sold locally, so I would love it if Wild Fork started to carry those as well.

They are also very filling but not heavy on the gut. They appear to be made mostly of pea protein, a little rice protein and potato starch among other oils and fruit extracts. Most veggie burgers or vegan products in general just taste like they’re healthy.

These burgers, however, are actually appealing. My kids even like them and I can barely get them to like anything.

The scent upon initially cooking smells a bit like animal food, but if you are not vegan… just cook a little bacon first and then plop the patties right in the fat.

Delicious. No shame. Also amazing with asparagus. Weirdest thing to get accustomed to is that they will never look “fully” cooked. Your burger when you bite into it will be pink. Always something to warn those who have an aversion to “undercooked” meat.

We love Porter Road ground beef. This burger size is perfect. The size is perfect for us- the flavor is so rich that we feel full without always making the big mouth burger size. And this size is good for kids burgers as well.

These burgers are better than a real beef hamburger and somehow manage to have the best “cookout” taste I’ve ever had. They are also really filling, and one burger on its own with no bun keeps me full for hours.

I recently tried Plant based Chik’n Burger by Alpha Foods. I have tried some of their products previously and was excited to try this one since the others were so good. I have to thank socialnature for the opportunity to try this for free with the voucher they sent to me.

Now this has a lot of positive attributes to it, don’t get me wrong and I will probably end up buying this again because my kids loved it so much. It meatless, obviously, shaped as a chicken patty and breaded which is great.

It has a lot of plant based protein which keeps us all going with a healthier substitute for actual chicken burgers and is sold at Sprouts Farmers Market right down the street from me. It was easy to find and the prices were good, possibly less than anywhere else I have purchased their products before.

As I said, my kids loved everything about it and didn’t know it was plant based until after they finished their burgers. I wanted an honest reaction and I got one. BUT I didn’t like it as much as they did.

To me, the breading was soggy and the texture was too soft. Not mushy but not firm, either. Maybe I was having an off day, which, quite frankly wouldn’t surprise me. I did go get another bag today to see if maybe I did have an off day because my family, including my husband, love, Plant based Chik’n Burgers by Alpha Foods.

I don’t think I will give a positive or negative on the results until I eat them again this week. It wouldn’t be a fair judgement until I try them again and know for sure. My family sure recommends this, though.

I love doing these reviews at the end of trying the new stuff I do because of you and couldn’t appreciate it any more than I already do.

Let me start by saying I do eat meat, but it’s hard and more expensive to find the meat I eat (has to be prepared a certain way) and I am trying to cut down on my meat consumption for ethical reasons as well.

So I only eat 1-2 small portions of home-cooked meat in a week at most, and eat vegetarian otherwise. For this reason, I’m very skeptical of fake meat products, as it seems ridiculous to try and mimic meat, when veggies are perfectly tasty themselves with their own unique flavors.

I therefore didn’t have very high expectations for the Chick’n Burgers, and expected them to taste bland and not much like chicken, But they honestly surprised me. They tasted just like a fried chicken patty burger you’d get at a restaurant! Like maybe I could taste the difference if I compared a real chicken burger side by side, but it’s super close.

I’m guessing it’s because processed chicken has a pretty mild flavor that’s easier to replication, but it’s still astounding. It would even satisfy meat-eaters. I air-fried it to get it perfectly crunchy, and served it much like the picture – on a bun with lettuce, tomato, capers, mustard, and a touch of mayo.

I see myself buying them again for special meals instead of getting takeout – same experience at a fraction of the cost and better for the environment!.

I recently tried the Plant based Chik’n burger from Alpha Foods and I enjoyed it. I am not a frequent eater of tofu or soybean based products, so I didn’t know what to expect, so I used some leftover pizza place’s marinara, a couple slices of mozzarella cheese and some spinach to make a vegetarian chick’n Parmesan sandwich on a whole wheat bun.

I cooked 2 of the 3 patties and shared one of them with my dad who is a purely meat eater. He actually enjoyed it! The breading on the patty was quite similar in taste and smell to a popular brand of chicken nuggets I have had, which was a delightful surprise.

The added wheat to the soy in the chick’n made the burger taste better and gave it a better texture than if it was just tofu in breading. I would get this product again for a plant based alternative.

I am looking forward to trying the chik’n nuggets with my coupon, since I usually buy more nuggets than patties in frozen foods. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to try plant based foods, but are not sure they would enjoy tofu.

I would definitely let the picky eater kids I have babysat over the years try this, because the garlic powder gives it just enough spice, yet mild enough for discriminating palates.

Concerned that the meat patties did not arrive frozen! They were still cold so they should be okay. I’m not the first to have this same issue. Office Depot needs to contact the distributor and fix this issue.

Food needs to be properly frozen. The quality in the first 2 is not great! There appears to be fat gristle and chewy stuff. If that continues, I will bring them back to the store.

I’m of Jamaican parentage. These are the only frozen patties we buy. Nothing will compare to a fresh, hot patty but these are the closest! My husband who is white American loves them too. Target, please stock these in more stores! It’s getting hard to find them nearby.

These burgers are wonderful for us that live in apartments! If you have a smokeless grilll they are even better! On the negative side I wish they would stop packaging 2 in each package? Being single having to separate them and repacking the unused burger is a problem that should be fixed! Otherwise these are juicy, well formed and a great meal! There’s very little shrinkage , if , any at all and can be cooked frozen or thawed! Included with every order is a booklet which shows how to cook them , frying, broiling or on the grill.

How long to cook and optimal inside temperature for best results!.

These burgers are every bit as good as their ribeye steaks! My only complaint would be that there’s a limit on how many can be purchased, at one time, AND the package is more difficult to open than other vacuum sealed burgers.

I have tried MANY vacuum sealed burgers and these have surpassed them all!.

I grew up on great hamburgers in the 50’s and 60’s out in Southern California. These patties match that flavor and texture. I season them and throw them on my panini grill and they’re done in 5 minutes! Put a little Cole slaw and dill pickle slices on a sesame seed bun with the patty and it’s 1961 again!.

When we purchased them we actually purchased more than one package in order to feed all of us, thereby giving me more of a base of tastes to review with.

The first thing we discovered was that they cooked a LOT faster than the directions on the box. Thank goodness there was so much else going on the grill (cannot cookout without the corn on the cob, fruit, veggies, you know the drill) so there was only a slight scorching on the first side.

They easily cooked in half the time and were thoroughly done. I was also slightly weary about trying them personally, though since I do not like burgers. Doesn’t matter the meat I just can’t get behind a burger.

I was worried these would turn me off the same way. I am very happy to report that I enjoyed them as much as I would any sausage or brat. The bacon and cheese were well balanced with the entire flavor.

Though I must say, they were much better without condiments (or even the bun truthfully) as that detracted and masked the flavors. We have since purchased and prepared them again since trying them the first time, remembering to shorten the cook time so as not to burn them!.

These are a staple in our freezer. When I took the unopened package out this evening it didn’t look/seem right. I counted/recounted the patties. Only 15. This was a brand new, unopened package. What’s up with that? At 1/3lb per patty I was shorted one pound of meat.

Took these frozen patties to camp. My sister made small sliders and I wanted the easy way to slap these on the grill. Sprinkled some salt and black pepper and these came out juicy and great! Everyone was a little sketchy on these frozen patties but it was perfect for rustic camping!.

We have been using these for golf tournaments at our local country club for the last 5 years. People continue to compliment these burgers, saying they remember how good they from years past. I pair them with the Tailgate Hawaiian buns and use seasoning salt with pepper jack cheese available at Sam’s.

Bubba burgers in the beef kingdom are alot like the homeless in humans. Frowned at and shunned. I dont enjoy Bubba burgers, they are kinda tough and chewy and ate less like burgers and more like cardboard.

They are a running joke in our family. I guarantee you will NEVER have a juicy Bubba burger. I’m not ever sure it’s real ground beef. Maybe some soy byproduct with maybe 2% actual beef. I’m not a fan.

Freezer to the grill! These are great burgers. We don’t season with anything. Just put the frozen patties on a hot grill and be on the lookout for juices. Once the juices are visible across the top of the whole side, then flip it! If you have a thermometer monitor the temperature and cook to your desired doneness.

I’m all about making my own hamburger patties like my mom did but, my husband. Who is all about Quick, Easy, Fast, brought some Bubba Burgers home, his Tongue was hanging out and he Swore he would die from starvation if he did not eat that second.

After I thought about it a second👿 lolol I tossed them on the grill, and guess what!! They were Great! they had good flavor and everyone loved them, especially my husband! He ate 4, he lived🤣🤣 i will buy them again, I recommend this product.

7-2-19 got some amazing great thick round 1 in a stiff plastic bag to open one bag all 15, 5 star would pay more for. 7-14-19 got some, terrible. Not the same product visibly different not round and thick but ragged edges pushed thinner, in individual 5 packs inside box, cheese doesnt melt if you do get it on even a spatula it reminds me of tacky plastic half melted, taste like i imagine dog rawhides taste, its like instead of hamburger and bacon they put in animal hide, cardboard and yellow plastic waste and ground it up.

Not even worth the fuel it takes to cook it; be it electric, propane, wood pellets, charcoal, or even a bonfire, even if they gave them to you. If you bought any do yourself a favor same as I am going to for the first time in my life I am going to call and return these from the 100% satisfaction guarantee they can have these back i dont care what they do with them but I want my money back.

I’ll go buy hamburger at elsewere and make own patties at least i will know it is real meat and decent mix unlike the new verison of this which is an over priced dog food that requires defrosting and cooking.

Only thing these will do is make you want to go on a hunger strike. Got ruined because either 1. sams got greedy, found cheaper supplier wanted to pocket the difference because hey they sold x units before at $15.

I bought these for the first time after returning a box of what was supposed to be waygu burgers and were gross. The only thing I added to these cheddar burgers was a little garlic powder and it was delicious.

I purchased MM Cheddar & Bacon Angus Beef Patties thinking it would make a quick & easy meal. Plus, with all the good reviews telling how juicy and delicious they are. The preparation is not as easy as thought.

The box says you can grill them on the grill, broil them in the oven, or cook it on stovetop in frying pan. I tried two ways not getting results I thought I would get. First, I broiled it. Hated this way most.

The next way was stovetop in my Cast Iron Frying Pan. The results was better, but to me it lacked flavor. maybe not enough bacon. The Cheddar is real and taste good. The box also says it is best to prepare Patties frozen for best quality and flavor.

I followed that instruction. Overall, the product isn’t that well for me to recommend, but does taste okay. The cooking isn’t as easy as box says. I do not plan on buying these again.

Absolutely disgusting. I bought 2 boxes worth and I wish I could return bc they are so bad. I’ve tried it with seasoning, sauce, cheese, and plain and no matter what the absolute disgusting “flavor” continues.

I bought these in a pinch for a big party. I would never buy a frozen hamburger but I took someone’s recommendation. I have to say they were very good and they didn’t shrink when we barbecued them they covered the whole roll they were tasty and I would definitely buy again.

I purchased 2 boxes of Bubba Burgers and when I opened them I saw that there is a very loose sealed plastic bag sround them inside the box. Both boxes had serious Freezer Burn on every patty. I will purchase these again because of the packaging.

The order arrived completely frozen. The flavor was good. My pet peeve about burgers is finding hard, chewy objects in the meat. I expect that from fast food but not Allen Bros. One chunk looked like a piece of skin.

An excellent blend of meats. Great flavor and just the right amount of fat to support the flavor. First time I have used Allen Bros as a meat source. I have used three others, but my attention is now with them.

Really did not like this, the gravy they used in this was my least favorite kind and the beef patties just didnt do it for me. That said, I think the vegetables had a good texture and tasted great and the potatoes didn’t taste fake.

Due to the thickness of the patties, this meal did take a good amount of time in the microwave, so I probably wouldn’t buy it again.

I haven’t had a hungry-man dinner in quite some time. But I can attest that I did enjoy the beef patty dinner. At the time I was eating it we didn’t have a microwave, so in the oven it went. It did take that much time to heat up and dinner was ready.

I have to say these are my absolute favorite vegan burgers I’ve tried! I also love their “perfect burger”. I found a coupon online that takes $2 off, and I also got these when they were on sale at Kroger, so it made it around $1-2 for 2 burgers which is a steal.

Cooks up nicely. This tastes and smells like a burger to me. Out of all the vegan frozen convenience junk food, this is the main one that I crave and want to buy again. Very satisfying in my opinion.

The absolute best veggie burger of all time. Delicious, tastes a lot like meat but isn’t as unhealthy or heavy feeling as beyond or impossible burgers. Difficult to find – try New Leaf Grocery or large health food store.

But please note that some of the other doctor Praeger’s burgers like “dr praegers perfect burger” is not good.

I like that it isn’t Soy based due to women with estrogen / cancer issues. I like it is pea based! I fast biblically once a year and refrain from meat during that time, also wheat, dairy. I’ve tried other meat crumbles and vegan burgers but this All American is really GOOD AND FEELS LIKE A BURGER AS WELL.
