20 Best Formula For Vomiting Baby (2023 Updated)

My new born has been exclusively on formula due to my wife’s milk not coming in(didnt for my first born either). On regular similac, similac sensitive, and enfamil gentilease, she had the worst gas pains, crazy colicky behavior, and screaming green poopy experiences.

Since changing to this product we noticed an incredible difference right away, but wasn’t perfect. Slowly though over the course of 10 days on the new formula she has gotten better and better. Poopy is mustard color, gas is a lot less and not noticeably painful.

She has gotten less and less colicky as the days have gone on. We also switched to premie nipples which helped slow the flow and eliminate the choking/crying fits while eating(possible reflux not sure) and tired her out better.

Bottom line is this stuff is magic and I wouldn’t recommend anything else. It smells a little different then reg formula, but she took to it without a problem. Good luck and congrats to all the new parents out there.

Our son was fed formula while in the NICU along with my breastmilk. I realized he was having a hard time passing gas and would cry something heartbreaking when he would drink the formula. Our household is a non-dairy one so I figured it was also a factor.

We switched to 2 do offered options that were dosed to be more tummy sensitive and better for milk intolerance. Once he started having eczema like patches and his pediatrician confirmed my suspicions, she suggested this and alimentum.

I did research and found Nutramigen to be a better choice for him. We started feeding him Nutramigen to supplement at 2 months and since then he had less stomach issues, less spitup, and the like and it has been all he’s on since I officially stopped breastfeeding.

It’s difficult finding formula now but I try to stock up with as many as I can get one time so that we don’t run out because there isn’t any other formula quite like it as I’m opposed to the soy based ones.

Alimentum is I guess my very last choice if I really cannot find any but I’m going it won’t come to that any time soon.

We r a week or more strong on nutramigen powder and I thank God everyday for helping us find this solution my son is a different baby, never seen him smile and babble so much, noore pain, regulated bowels with consistency, no more gas, no more pain, thank you enfamil! My baby was diagnosed with severe acid reflux at 2 months old. The hospital recommended this formula along with 2 medications 2ice a day. The formula combined with the medication helped him tremendously! At 4 and a half months we steadily started to reduce his medications and now he’s 6 months having only this formula and doing very good.

It’s a bit thicker than normal milk and he seems to enjoy the taste from the start. If your baby has trouble with spitting or suspect acid reflux, definitely worth to try this.

My baby has went through at least 6 formulas to get him to the right one. We went through Good start gentle, soothe, soy etc. Now we have settled on Enfamil AR. It has helped him tremendously compared to the other brands he has went through.

The others made him so sick they hurt his little tummy. This one doesn’t hurt his tummy, because it is thick, it does help him to keep must formula down. Unfortunately we didn’t find the perfect one, but this is the closest we will be getting to it.

So he got worse and was transferred to Oahu Hawaii hospital because rather have neonatal icu which we don’t have on maui. And they give enfamil there they immediately gave him neuro pro yellow can and the breast milk on top of that and he changed over the next week gained all his weight back was content and happy.

I love this formula so much. I love that it’s non gmo and has prebiotics! I and purchased a organic formula I wanted to love but when I tried to give to him it gave him a horrible Rash and gas and he was sooo upset and uncomfortable.

I switched back to enfamil and again he over night changed into a happy baby. No Rash, hardly any spit up no gas and seems to be flourishing. I freaking love enfamil! So glad I found this through hospital on Oahu Hawaii.

This formula has been a game changer for us. It’s not an exaggeration when I say that I have spent hours upon hours researching formulas and reading reviews. I told myself when I finally found the right formula that I would write a review in hopes of helping someone else.

My son was diagnosed with acid reflux at three weeks old, and put on Pepcid along with levsin as needed. His pediatrician put him on Similac Alimentum, not only was it outrageously expensive, it made him projectile vomit.

I then tried Gerber Goodstart soothepro due to the hydrolyzed milk protein and pre and probiotics in the formula. It was awful, he developed a rash, and horribly painful and awful smelling bowel movements, all signs of gut issues.

I decided that we would try soy, I was desperate for him to feel better. He did somewhat better with soy but still spit up, and stopped gaining weight, I worried he wasn’t getting the nutrients he needed so I went back to cow’s milk, Similac total comfort.

It was awful, hurt his stomach, bad gas, constantly spitting up, terrible rash. I was about to go back to soy and I decided I’d give cow’s milk formula one more try and try Enfamil AR. I’m so thankful I did.

He rarely spits up, no more rashes, his gut is finally straightened out. He’s a totally different baby. I know every baby is different and what works for some, won’t work for others, but if you’re back and forth on which added rice formula to use, Enfamil AR has the least amount of ingredients of all the ones on the market.

When it comes to formula less is more. We are so thankful for this formula!.

My son struggled for the first 6 weeks of his life. He lived in fetal position and cried constantly. He developed severe reflux that was causing him to choke. We tried 6 different formulas until he developed a full body rash with alimentum.

He was then diagnosed with cows milk allergy. Once he started on this formula within 2 days he was a brand new baby. He is now off all medication and a healthy happy baby. It smells way better than nutrimagen and alimentum and I like being able to mix an ounce at a time.

We just started introducing our 4 month old to formula. We had an opportunity to try this, and thought it would be a good fit as he is used to breast milk and this claims to be very similar. I was pleased with the ingredients, and like that there is no corn syrup, palm oil, and other unfavorable ingredients that many other formulas contain.

My son drank this immediately and never refused it, which tells me that it is indeed similar to breast milk. It agrees with him and has not made him gassy or uncomfortable, and he does not spit up any more than he did prior to starting this formula.

I was unsure if I would continue with the ready-to-feed formula, or switch to the powder since it is a slightly better value. This liquid ready-to-feed formula is SO convenient! No mixing, easy to travel with, and ready when you need it.

One thing I will note-although you do not have to heat this, my baby sometimes refuses it if it is not warmed. I attribute this to the fact that he is used to breastfeeding, but I am not sure if the taste of the formula is better when warmed or not.

He is continuing to gain weight appropriately as we combination feed and takes the breast milk and formula with equal enthusiasm, which I was originally worried about. I researched lots of organic and European formulas, as I had some minor anxiety about beginning to wean my son from breast milk.

This has been a surprisingly great choice and I am so happy with it. I will say, as this is a newer offering from Similac, I have had trouble finding it in certain stores, and so ordering online has been the most convenient.

I would DEFINITELY recommend this formula, especially in the ready-to-feed option. Parenthood is hard-anything to make our lives easier is well worth it!.

Though we are primarily breast feeding our newborn, this formula has been a win for us as needed. Though nearly everything my newborn drinks is breastmilk, we got this formula for those just in case times to through a few in the diaper bag, trunk, and pantry and to have on hand.

We intended to solely breastfeed our first time at least a year old but after baby had surgery and the stress mixed with getting sick led me to go from making extra breastmilk one day to nearly nothing the next.

So this time around, we just feel better having some formula on hand. Its already come in handy a day we had to be out and about for most the day and away from a fridge or anyway to properly store breastmilk.

We were able to just though a few more containers of formula in the diaper bag and we were set all day!What I like about this formula is:- Super convenient! Shell drink it up no problem. – They are designed to be able to put a nipple right in the bottom lessdishes!- Though its not as gentle as breastmilk, this formula still seems to be quite gentle on her system – her GI tolerates it pretty close to breastmilk a bit more distress but shes also still a newbornhas colic.

No cons weve found yet. Ill update if we find any. Oh! Other than I think just probably the nature of shipping this heavy of a item but the boxone of the Similac boxes were a bit opened upon arrive to our door.

The product wasnt damaged at all. I would recommend this Similac 360 ready-to-go formula to any parent. Its gentle enough for our breastfeed newborn. Its convenient and comforting to have around. It seems well-designeda well-made formula.

I got this new version of 360 Total Care Sensitive in powdered form and this liquid, ready to feed form. I understand this isnt part of the recall but I personally feel better with the ready to feed version over the powdered.

Backstory: I decided to wait on feeding my baby the powdered ones just to be on the safe side, until enough time has passed to ensure there are no other recalls. There was another recall from when I ordered the powdered version to when it arrived at my doorstep, so thats why Ive just decided to give it a couple weeks before we dig into those cans.

Also, I only say this because my baby drank 5 big cans of the recalled batch another line, not this one, so now I am trying to be extra safe and proceeding with caution. Back to this ready to feed liquid version:I was actually quite excited to try this.

Our little one is very picky and grew up with ready to feed because he would always reject powdered formula. He is now much better with powdered formula but he still seems to enjoy this liquid form better.

It hasnt even been a week since we got this but weve already gone through 6-7 bottles! This doesnt smell awful like some of the other line, but the smell is the least of my worries as long as baby approves.

We try to save these for when we go out / in the car / outdoors because this is much more convenient when baby is ready for his bottle. We dont have the nipple attachments as you have to purchase that separately but we usually bring some empty baby bottles to pour this in, and that works great for us.

Our baby has always done well with Similac ready to feed, he actually loves it, and this was no different. The batch I got is good for another 10 months. Were happy with this product and will continue to purchase this.

My son was having terrible reflux, gas pains, belly discomfort, congestion etc with anything dairy, even nutramigen. We first tried a different soy formula which caused severe constipation (think pellets), decided to try this one and has been phenomenal for him!! No reflux, gas pains, congestion has cleared up etc.

He also poops great with this. I still give him one ounce of pear juice a day as I found that makes it even better to move his stools. He has been the healthiest and happiest with this.

Absolutely ridiculous!! There has to be a discontinue of this formula because we can’t seem to find it anywhere. I’ve gone as far as looking for it at out of state locations and not one store seems to have it.

This is a serious issue for those who have toddlers that have severe milk/soy allergies. We’re down to our last 2 cans, which one I opened ystrd. This is my second child with a severe milk/soy allergy and I’ve never experienced this before.

Enfamil please stop telling customers that you can help find milk or to call the store ahead of time and just be honest and tell valuable and loyal customers if this product has been discontinued or when to expect a restock of this item we have toddlers who rely on this formula as well as sleep deprived parents when their child is so dependent on this formula and want take no for an answer when we have to limit milk intake to make it stretch! In praying by the time that these 2 cans run out that my toddler will just have no interest in it or that it will be restocked.

Which I seriously doubt!.

I have been buying this for my son since he was a baby. He born with severe milk allergy and egzema. This was the only formula for him that helped. But now it’s out of stock everywhere. Enfamil says they changing the labels.

Is that really why? Even enfamil doesn’t have it. I’m sure this was selling a lot. Great formula taste better than others. No spit ups or gas for Infant or Toddler. My son is toddler already. Who ever taught or made this formula.

Thank you so much making my son grow more and more each day. His belly got full. I’m glad he isn’t baby so we don’t have to search for new hypoallergenic formula out there. So sad for other babies with milk allergy.

Our poor little one for weeks was feeling uncomfortable; extremely gassy, gas pains, endless crying…we initially thought it was a lactose intolerance especially when he broke out into a rash on his face.

So we started down the formula line. Started with gentlease, then sensitive, to soy to finally Nutramingen. Our lil’ guy has a sensitivity to cow and soy milk! He’s been on it for about a week now and his face has cleared up, no longer in pain nor fussy.

He’s completely a new baby now; and happy. I’m glad that we were able to figure it out and got him on the right track now.

This is a very expensive product, but it is also worth it. My daughter seems to have had problems digesting, pooping and breathing (of all things, I had to administer CPR on her a couple times) on my breastmilk and on all the other formulas I’ve tried, so her doctor prescribed this to her.

I think this product smells like cat food but my daughter seems to love it. I heard from other parents they had a hard time switching to this formula because of the taste. Honestly I just think my princess is just an aggressive eater because I’m pretty sure this formula really does tastes as bad as it smells.

BUT. a little after I switched to this formula the symptoms I seemed to be concerned about went away. She also goes through this formula much slower than the other ones I’ve tried. I do have to order mine via the pharmacy because it is very difficult to find.

(Then I take it up to the front and use my WIC stamps because my medical will not reimburse me for this product). Any Kroger stores will let you order, and then take it from the pharmacy and let you pay for it up front.

Most places will ask you to pay for it at the pharmacy and you can’t use WIC stamps at the pharmacy. To caveat that – I go to the same pharmacy and every time they seem to be very confused about ordering this product for me.

If I have a prescription, order it. It’s that simple. Be prepared for people to have a hard time understanding this is considered a medical food and you cannot waltz into the formula aisle to pick it up willy nilly.

They always tell me to check the baby aisle first. It’s seriously easier to order online but if you are getting reimbursed for it via medical or WIC, they will not pay for the formulas you order online.

I would not use this formula for your infant without a doctor’s recommendation and perscription.

I started looking for formula when medical issues ended my breastfeeding journey so much sooner than I had planned. I knew I wanted organic, clean and free from syrups and icky additives so many mainstream formulas around me seem to have.

And I found this one! I love the peace of mind the quality gives me. It includes DHA and even pre and probiotics that my sweet boy would have gotten from me otherwise. I think it makes a big difference in helping formula not be so hard on his tummy.

The scoop is 1 scoop to 1 ounce of water, which I love! It’s so much easier than the 1 to 2 ratio most of our formulas here have for some reason. Our little boy also seems to love it! No trouble with rejecting bottles or seeming to react to taste or anything.

Just some mild constipation when we switched that cleared up quickly. Now he is growing like a weed, right on track, and very happy. Almost no spit up, and normal gas that doesn’t seem to cause him any issues.

All in all, a happy baby! And shipping was fast and hassle free! Ordering in bulk meant that I don’t have to worry about the supplement shortage here in the US. So that makes for a happy Mom! I’ve already been recommending this formula to other moms looking for the best brand for their little ones!! Truly a great formula!.

I breastfeed my daughter, but I also have to supplement a couple times a day with formula. My daughter has a very sensitive digestive system and there just aren’t any options over here in the US that aren’t filled with corn syrup and other low quality ingredients.

Thankfully I was able to find a company that can send it to the US! This stuff has been easy for her to digest and she has not been fussy at all. I am so happy that we were able to find something that works for her.

This is a great value option among Hipp version. Clearly labeled fluoride content which is better than all US brands. It is also 2nd best in terms of digestibility as I have experienced on my little one.

The best one is bobbie’s organic for my baby, however Bobbie’s increased its price, making Hipp UK the best option now after 6 months.

We are placing a second order today. We purchased before our daughter was born to be sure we would be in formula. We are repurchasing while we are working with a lactation counselor in getting our milk supply up.

Tried all sorts of EU formula… lebenswert, kendamil, HIIP… Baby seemed to like it. The only thing we didn’t like was the packaging. I wish it came in a can or something but we just reused the kendamil can.

I did like that it came in two separate bags though so we didn’t have to use all of it so quickly! Helpful especially because we are only using about one bottle of formula a day.

I read a lot of reviews about different formulas before deciding on this one. My 4 month old is breastfed but we wanted to include some formula for those times when we didn’t have pumped milk thawed and ready to go.

She also didn’t stool frequently, so we wanted to see if formula once per day would help with that. I couldn’t be happier with all intended results. Formula mixes easy, no foaming at all! She loved it from the first taste and drank the whole bottle.

After a week of 1-2 supplementary feedings per day, 60-90 ml per feed, we also got her to be regular. I’m waiting for my 2nd can to arrive this week. Yes, it’s expensive plus shipping but we cut expenses elsewhere to make it work because it’s important.

We absolutely love this formula! We have had no tummy issues, and an overall very happy baby on this formula! I breast-fed my first two babies and noticed that this formula gave the same consistency in her **** that my breast fed little ones had.

Our baby has a very sensitive stomach. We tried all of the formulas available in the US for sensitive stomachs and she would still get nausea and rashes. We eventually tried importing this (stage 1) formula and the difference was night and day.

We switched to stage 2 at six months and it worked just as well. Even from the US, when we order this by the case, we always have the it within a week. I can’t recommend the Hole Goat milk formula enough for babies with sensitive stomachs.
