I love this chair! I bought it to replace one I had that was very heavy to carry and the side table didn’t fold down when in open position. This chair is so light, yet very sturdy and supports my plus size body.

It’s wide enough that it’s comfortable and the back doesn’t hit under my arm pits like my other chair did. I’m short and it sits at just the right height for me. The table folds easily and is sturdy when used.

The chair also folds easily and is no problem to carry. I also love that it came with a carrier strap and removable storage pockets! My husband thought it was expensive but I think it’s worth every penny!.

The chair is fairly sturdy and comfortable. Very light and easy to carry especially with the attachable carrying strap. The storage bag with compartments is another feature I really like – something I didn’t know I even needed.

The flip up table on the side is another feature that can be appreciated. The only downside is that it is a bit difficult to open and close. Outside of that I would highly recommend this chair – Worth the cost.

This is a great set chair. It’s larger, sturdier and more comfortable than most camping / beach chairs on the market and the back and seat won’t sag over time like other camping chairs do. I’ve also used it all weather conditions with no problems.

This updated version of this particular model has two umbrella loops (1 on the back panel and 1 on the chair leg) to hold an umbrella securely, a clever addition. The only issue is the plastic end caps for the chair legs will crack on sharp gravel surfaces or other sharp rocky terrain, then the broken / cracked plastic end caps will then push up into the chair leg cavity at different rates under thick heavy muddy conditions.

As a result the chair will become uneven during indoor use. Other than that, it’s a great comfortable chair like I said above. 5 Stars. Omar.

Bought the Expander chair after seeing a couple of videos. Delivery was prompt and chair arrived well packaged. Didn’t take long to figure out how to construct and deconstruct but the real test is getting your bum on the seat.

It’s very comfy, so much so that my partner got me to order one for her as soon as we got home! The Expander’s small footprint is a winner as we have limited storage in our campervan. So, if you’re looking for comfy camp chairs that are well built, are easy to use and fold up into a very small package and are well priced then I suggest you buy an Expander or two.

During our last camping trip I had to fit four bulky chairs, leaving out some other things I wanted to take. The front runner expander chairs are the perfect low profile chairs for our set up. Super small and light weight.

I plan on using them today for the Veterans Day parade in our town. Get some.

So far so great. I do not believe that there is a perfect chair for every situation. Different activities require different chairs. So over the past year I’ve been on a chair buying frenzy, purchasing based on usage activity.

The target activity/activities this time was events, ie: – kids sports – tail gating – outdoor concerts – picnics – etc The requirements for this, in priority order, were: – PORTABILITY – WEIGHT – SHORT TERM COMFORT (max 1-2 hours) – TRANSPORTING – EASE OF USE – QUALITY/DURABILITY I ultimately went with cliq because it was superior in all the above categories.

– PORTABILITY I needed to be able to carry these to and from each event, sometimes far walks. Most chairs are easily carried, but add the wife and daughters chair and carrying 3 chairs is suddenly difficult! Not only do the Cliqs fold up to the size of an umbrella, but they have multiple sized chair bags available to make it even easier to carry more than 1.

Huge points there! – WEIGHT Similar to the above. Carrying 3 chairs can get heavy, the Cliqs are SUPER light. Like 3 of their chairs weigh less than my high back camping chair. – SHORT TERM COMFORT (max 1-2 hours) The events are typically 1-2 hours so they definitely need to be pretty comfortable.

Some chairs I tested hurt after 5mins, NOT Cliq, they are actually very comfy. The canvas cradles you when you sit. There are no tight spots or pressure points in the canvas when your sit in it. The flex in the design provides some great comfort compared to typical rigid style folding/collapsing chairs.

– TRANSPORTING These chairs would likely be living in the trunk of the suv or car. 3 chairs can take up a lot of space, so the size is also important. Like I mentioned early, these chairs fold up super small and have a bag so they are as about as compact as you can get.

Another HUGE win here. – EASE OF USE sometimes this is scarified when the chair size is important. One chair I returned to different company collapsed VERY small but it required that you basically put it together bar by bar like tent poles through holes and then attaching the canvas.

It was so not practical, it took 5 mins to set up each time. Cliq, has it figured out. This chair sets up in about 7 seconds. And it breaks down in 3 seconds. You can do it so fast it looks like I fluid motion! – QUALITY/DURABILITY I’m roughly 6′ and 210lbs and I am use my things hard.

The chair is definitely small in size but it is strong. Super quality, does not feel cheap or “tin-y”. It has no problem holding me in resting position or when I’m putting more stress on it when moving.

Cliq is a great buy for anyone looking for a extremely portable, comfortable, easy quality chair.

First, I want to acknowledge Cliq’s legit customer service team. Someone had left a smoldering fire unattended at my campsite and the wind carried an ember onto my chair, burning a whole straight through.

Despite the fact that this wasn’t covered under warranty, Cliq decided to send me a replacement canopy. Turns out they ran out, so I received a completely new chair. I was stoked. Use: I am a mountain bike coach and often help build trails.

This chair stays in my trunk, and is the easiest chair to open I’ve owned. There is no assembly, just open and close. After a couple of hours in the sun, I snap this chair out and rest for a moment. This chair goes with us to races where we camp and takes minimal space in my small car.

There are more comfortable chairs out there, but those chairs are nowhere near as portable and easy to use. Even then, this chair is a 4/5 on the comfort scale. I wouldn’t use it as a chair to use with a table as the seat position is slightly reclined; so it’s made to be a lounging chair, around a campsite, at a picnic on the grass.

It’s got some heft in terms of weight, but absolutely durable. I own two chairs, not including the third with the burnt canopy, and would choose this considering it’s size and ease of use.

Bought the two chair set with the free carry case, very responsive & quick order & delivery, well packaged, the chairs have very sturdy, high quality, sky blue & red nice colors, not cheap looking, looks very durable for the long haul, and even the 2 chair carry bag is high quality.

Price a bit high for my taste but in same price range as competitor products in the same quality & function, would not call 3. 65 lbs. each ultra-light but light enough to carry on hikes & such, extending each post was a little tricky at first but should be easier after a little use & more familiarity with the set up.

Overall, did a lot of research & the Cliq chairs are one of the most compact & light portable chairs to stash in the vehicle, even on a bike, take hiking, or to events. The posts are very solid and everything folds out & assembles fairly easy & quickly once you understand how to extend each post, plus you are not piecing it all together like the ultra-light competition.

Comfortable but low back although any higher & you will not have the compact convenience they are designed for. I think they are perfect for any purpose when you need a super compact & lightweight chair to take with you anywhere.

It’s to big! Not in capacity or weight, those are ok. The distance from the front of the seat (where your knees hit) the the front of the backrest, is way to long. Plus it’s angled backwards (for comfort) but no way a normal sized ( under 7 ft tall) person can sit in it and lean back.

The seat height and width are great! But you can’t use the backrest. Im 6 1 and it’s like I’m a 6 year old kid in a adult chair.

Since this chair is made for a larger person, you’d think opening and folding this would be easy, but it’s rather cumbersome. My father in law, who I got this for, needs help everytime, and when I’ve helped him open and close this, I almost always pinch my finger as it gets stuck in the metal.

He gets really frustrated and is going back to his old large chair that practically opens with one hand.

This is a nice chair. Feels heavy duty, like it’ll last awhile. The cooler pocket and the small table with cup holder is a nice addition. It’s a little bulky to haul out for your kid’s tball game, but would be perfect for camping or if you were spending all day at the ball fields.

I have a bad knee. Before I resort to the cane with the built in chair I thought I would just buy a portable tripod chair to take on day outings. The only improvement I would suggest for this chair would be some way to strap it to a backpack… either a strap or a hook.

I’ll improvise. Either way, will be able to stop and rest the knee at a moment’s notice.

Let me say up front that I have not purchased this stool — yet. I bought one, probably from LLBean, a few years back and have been looking to replace the one that mysteriously disappeared. If it is the same quality, and I’m sure it is, I highly recommend this product.

It is light, compact and easy to carry. I weigh a little over the 275 lbs. capacity, but never felt it wasn’t secure enough to take my weight. I live in New York City and would take it with me when I didn’t want to stand on the subway for my lengthy commute.

I have an issue finding an outdoor chair sometimes that I feel safe and that doesn’t sink into the ground either when I sit on it. I weigh 275 and I felt safe in this chair. It’s rated up to 300 pounds.

It’s comfortable and was easy to get in and out of. The frame is sturdy. I love the small table area on the side with the cup holder. This also worked great taking it to a craft show I do so I could keep some of my crafting supplies on the small table on the side.

It can be used both indoors and outdoors. Fold open and closed easily. I definitely would recommend especially for larger folks who have issues with other outdoor chairs.

It can be used at home our outdoors and is so well made. I absolutely love it and highly recommend you pick up one or a couple of these chairs.

I was super excited about this chair and was somewhat disappointed to be honest. The chair is very heavy duty and supports me well, im 360lb. The chair is honestly not that comfortable. The back for the chair doesn’t go up the back far enough, I’m 6’1″.

The chair digs into the back of my thighs when sitting. The overall sitting position in the chair feels off. Overall for me, this is not my favorite chair.

I recently purchased this chair for flag football/cheer/soccer practices. I’ve used it twice now and it is seriously a comfortable chair. I previously owned the cheaper camping chairs from Walmart which have lasted YEARS, but they aren’t comfortable.

I am really loving this one. I am excited to use the umbrella holder as well. The only drawback I have is folding it up to fit inside the bag. Because it has a cooler bag, you have to finagle closing the chair and bag in a specific way so that it all fits inside the carrying sleeve.

I’m sure the more I use it the easier it will become. I definitely plan to purchase a second chair for my husband.

This is a beautiful chair, very light weight, folds easily. Nice enough to put indoors for extra seating. Easy to get in and out of. How does it fit or how and why will it fit? I have reached the point of asking how wide the seat is because some of us are now wider and most chairs are not.

The seat is 19” wide and the space between the arms is 19”. The space between the vertical metal poles that holds up the arms is 20”. This is wider than most folding lawn chairs and even wider than many chairs that state a 500 pound weight limit.

My friend who is a tiny 4’-10” 85 lbs. is very happy in this chair. Me, I’m 5’3” and a very chubby, hour glass shape. The design of the chair does not pinch and is stable and comfortable. The back position does not adjust forward enough use to sit at a table and use a laptop.

Lafuma also makes an XL version of this chair with a seat width of 21”. It would be nice to have to option of ordering the XL chair.

I love the lumbar support this chair gives. I have had one that I bought 18 years ago. It still works though every time I took it to a potluck, pre pandemic, someone was always sitting in it. The quality is outstanding.

I have back problems and this is the most supportive chair I’ve come across. It is very light to carry and folds almost flat. I looked for many years to get another one so was so elated when I saw REI was carrying them I bought two for myself and one for my friend.

Bought it a few weeks ago and am very impressed. Yes, they are expensive compared to others, but you really do get what you pay for. The build quality is excellent, they fold really well, they are light and, above all, really comfortable.

The padding also keeps you that little bit warmer when the evening chill appears.

Bought last Fall. Used once!! Nicely made. Easy to get in and out of. Showing my age-LOL. Hope to get a lot of use out of these this Summer and Fall!

These chairs are very sturdy and well made. Although aluminum, they are somewhat heavy but not to the point of being a problem. I expect them to last.

I bought this chair a little over a month ago and have used it multiple times on weekend camping trips. It is SO comfortable. It folds up nicely in the case provided and is very light. The footrest is stable and conveniently detached when not needed.

I purchased this chair for my husband. He has only used it once, but is very pleased with the comfort. This chair, due to being lightweight, will take the place of an anti-gravity chair he currently uses on day trips to the beach.

Since he has only used the chair once, durability is unknown.

We tried these at a family reunion from someone who had brought them to sit in for our annual get together. We absolutely loved these chairs. The comfort and set-up was very easy. We actually were able to sit for long periods of time during the rain and snuggle up without out blankets hitting the ground.

We also were able to be comfortable while the kids roasted marshmallows when we took our own camping. The best part about these chairs is the simplicity of use. They are easy to set-up and put away. The foot rest can get in your away, but you will adjust quickly to be able to put these away without wrestling that part of the chair.

The other part is the price. The comfort definitely is something you have to pay for, but they are still a great product. They are also compact which allows for you to be able to put multiple in the trunk of the car in order to go to places.

There is also the light weight feature to allow more than just the man of the family to carry them.

I purchase this to serve as both picnic chair and general use chair at home. Been using it for more than 3 weeks and I cant be happier. The chair is sturdy and the fabric is thick. Remember I use this daily as my relaxing chair at home too and its super comfy.

I use thei chair every weekend at the beach too. The only downside for me is the size. I cycle to the park and beacj every weekend so trust me when I say this chair is quite bulky when folded. I know there are smaller chairs available but I know this is the perfect size for me.

Bought it more than 2 years ago at Chai Chee. Height is just nice for me , a 173cm tall guy. Sturdy frame that didn’t break down until recently, when the 2 of the plastic joints broke, but still somehow usable ,alas a little wonky if I lean too much to the left or right.

Only issues is that the waterproof coating started melting after a few months during hot weather, which is annoying to clean up. And the canvas-like fabric is little too rough for my butt and arms. Would suggest sitting on it while wearing jeans or put a pillow on it.

This is an excellent product that is a must buy in these pandemic times. Always keep it in your car, stop wherever you see a beautiful spot, take these out and relax. They’re fairly comfortable despite being so compact when folded.

And very sturdy too, takes 120 kg person with ease. When folded, the carry straps make it so easy to be carried around on shoulders. Definitely recommended.

I received this chair a couple of weeks ago and wasted no time using it. It’s been just as comfortable on the back patio as on a sandy beach, and while a bit on the heavy side the shoulder strap on the included bag makes it easier to get it where you’re going.

The biggest issue I usually have with this type of folding chair is that the front edge tends to dig into the back of my legs and cut off circulation. That has not been the case with this chair so far – the front edge provides support without digging in, I think in part because of its width.

This chair is wide enough that my legs don’t get pinched on the sides either, I am comfortably settled in the center of the seat with lots of room on either side. It’s very sturdy with very little flex.

I’m 6′ and 285 lbs, and this chair holds me up really well. The pockets on the right side are plenty roomy for a drink, phone, and snacks. Only time will tell if this 5-star review holds up, but I recommend this chair to all my big brethren.

Purchased this as a gift for my husband. He is not a large man, but has rheumatoid arthritis which makes standing from a low seated position more difficult. The 19″ high seat (vs. the average 17″ chair) and the solid arm rests make standing up a breeze.

The best folding chair ever, if you’re at a campsite or at home. The metal arms are the best feature or maybe it’s worst. You’re not going to pack this chair very far. Years ago, Cabela’s had a great chair but the back was made of a mesh, it was very nice but left your back exposed to cold wind.

I haven’t taken this one winter camping yet, but I appreciate all the work and extra padding they have put into it. Super solid and very comfortable. Easily justifies the cost. 5 stars.

Love these chairs! Better than I had expected! The “T” is embroidered which is what I was looking for.

Gave these as a gift and the recipients just loved them. They use them at tail gates, parties, at home and sports events.Pros: Nice look as well.

I bought a pair of these April 2021, because the size looked crazy comfortable for campfires and stargazing. And large enough for the dog to curl up in it! And the cup holder is a nice touch. At the end of their second summer of camping, they’ve bleached from the sun, the frame is rusting, and the edging around the fabric is fraying and rotting off.

This after a couple of summers being regularly used in usual east-coast Canada weather, and stored indoors off-season. The rust is causing the folding mechanism to catch, keeping it from sliding smoothly.

These are now backyard chairs, as they’re hard as heck to fold down and a little bit more of the fabric crumbles everytime it gets rolled up. Expected better quality for a chair meant to be used outdoors in the elements.

Overall, it’s a comfy chair for occasional car camping!.

I bought one of these chairs last year because I loved the look, and had to got back and grab one for my husband as well because he would constantly try to steal mine! We find them very comfortable, and love chilling in them with a drink at the end of a long day.

They are set on our deck. We try to protect them from the rain as much as possible, but even when they get soaked they air dry pretty quickly, which is amazing. However, as other have mentioned before: don’t take them to the beach! We had an issue closing only one of them, but what a nightmare it was.

Also they are huge, and heavy to carry around, so we probably won’t take them camping if we have a bit of a walk from the car to the campground. I am also VERY DISAPPOINTED that the color I loved so much has faded a lot over just one summer!!! It’s an outdoor chair for Pete’s sake.

It’s supposed to be used outside, in the sun. Whoever chose the fabric when designing that chair should know better :(.

Im a guy whos got some issues with lawn chairs, i dont quite fit in them, or i end up breaking it when i sit in it. So i was pleasently surprised at finding these oversized chairs. Got this chair because its rated for 400lbs.

Used it twice this summer and found it to be very comfortable and you can sleep in it. But the plastic hinges are already bending. Im not sure if its going to stay together and not break over its life span.

If im careful, i could make this chair last but seeing parts flexing and bending out of shape after using it once is a concern for me. I will update this review if i ever see more issues over the summer.
