20 Best Floor Lamp For Nursery (2023 Updated)

I ordered this lamp along with one another from Brightech (the Eden), with the intention to just keep the one that fit my space best. The style and quality are both really impressive. But I want to first thank Brightech for the customer service.

Due to issues with my delivery address, my packages were continually lost in shipping. I felt terrible asking for replacement orders again and again, and didn’t expect to be met with so much understanding.

The reps I worked with were quick to reply and incredibly accommodating. Before my lamps even arrived, I could tell this is a mission-minded company with values that I want to support. The lamps did make it to me yesterday! Honestly, I can’t bring myself to send the extra one back—it’s too good.

Really impressed by every single element of the product design and user experience for the lamps. Packaging was smart, instructions were clear, assembly was seamless, manufacturing was perfect, and the finished effect is as elegant as any other comparable, premium lamp out there.

Looks just as pictured online! Not sure when I’ll come across a better product, so I’m saving the extra lamp for a rainy day. 🙂 Grateful for this company and good people out there working to make beautiful design more accessible! Job well done!.

I purchased the gold floor lamp for a client. The Lamp was great but the lamp shade was not appropriate for a clients home. The shade comes rolled up and has to be placed on the Fitter. Once fitted, the clips showed through the shade material and the seam of the shade is too large.

The shade looked light something you might get at IKEA. The light was to hang over a couch and would not look good if looking at it from underneath. We were very happy with the light and the quickness of delivery, but I had to purchase a new shade.

However, the new shade did not hang perfectly on the light since the Euro Fitter was slightly different. The lamp and the marble base were packaged great. not sure why they couldn’t also include a pre-shaped lampshade.

This is a nice lamp and relatively easy to assemble. The problem is the shade. It does not look good. The small hook system to lock the shade into place makes it so that the shade looks uneven. The velcro seal on the back does not help much either.

It looks half open. The frame and foot of the lamp are really nice. You may want to consider getting a new shade.

We like this floor lamp in our living room. It emits just the right amount of light. It comes with light warm light bulbs which is a plus. The install was pretty straightforward. One issue with this lamp is the cylinder is not well centered on the wooden piece.

I find myself fixing it on multiple occasions.

This lamp looks exactly as the pictures represent it. Pretty to put together with the instructions, though a second pair of hands are really helpful when trying to align the lampshade correctly. It gives off a nice warm light, perfect for the evening.

When you open it, have a clean and somewhat large area ready to lay out the canvas pieces on.

The lamp looks nice from across the room, and the light is warm and soft, but the quality of the materials was far lower than I expected based on my Sky Floor Lamps from Brightech. The wood was chipped in some places when I opened the box, and the stickers that label each piece for assembly leave a terrible sticky goop (and trying to remove the goop removed the wood stain).

After trying this with one sticker I left the rest on, but seeing “A1”, “C2”, “C3” etc. on the legs of the lamp really makes it look low quality. Why would the labels not be more easily and cleanly removable?.

I bought the Eden lamp recently. As another reviewer mentioned, the quality of the parts is not great. The wood was chipped in places. They advertise the product as Smart Home compatible but you need a smart plug (which is fine but they should make that clear) and that doesn’t mean that the product is built for use with Google Home, Alexa, etc.

Otherwise the lamp looks good in a corner but don’t expect too much.

We are really pleased with the lamp – both style and construction are beyond our expectations. The shade was also better constructed than expected – it went together nicely and looks not at all like a flat-pack shade once assembled.

The light quality of the supplied 3-way bulb was quite nice; unfortunately the bulb malfunctioned after only about a week of using the lamp. We have used it for about a week with a replacement halogen bulb single output bulb with no issues – hopefully it was just a QC issue with the bulb supplied by the manufacturer and we’ll have no further electrical problems.

Barring that, it is 5/5 for us.

The design of the lamp is beautiful and the quality of construction lives up to Brightech’s name as well. I am very happy with this lamp and definitely will be looking into more of their products in the near future.

Nice-looking style at a very affordable price. The wire that hangs from the lamp shade to the plug ruins an otherwise perfect lamp for me. When I purchased it online, I thought that the cord would be better concealed, for instance on the back of one of the tripod lamp’s legs.

Unfortunately, the cord stands out, which is unsightly. I’d have preferred to know this before ordering it. I think this product could be upgraded if it came with some clips on one of the three legs to hold the cord in place.

I ended up using short lengths of tape so ensure that the cord isn’t apparent.

The ratings for this lamp were great and I decided to buy this lamp for our living room. I was a little hesitant to buy from a brand I had never heard of, but I’m so happy I did. The shipping was a little delayed (not the fault of Brightech) and I connected with customer service to see if they could assist.

They were so kind and helpful and I was extremely satisfied with their support. The lamp turned out to be great as well – we have had it for 6 months and love it. Great quality for a very reasonable price.

I am now looking into buying another Brightech lamp for our home office.

Before you purchase one of the lamps with a lampshade, just know that it seals with either a magnet or Velcro. The seam therefore looks very cheap and you’ll need to hide it in the back — so if your lamp is going to be fully visible, I wouldn’t recommend.

I’m purchasing a replacement shade. There was also a missing piece, which I’m hoping Brightech will send to me.

We managed to assemble it easily. We were a bit upset to find the switch for the light arrived broken but, we used a switch from another lamp we had and it worked perfectly. Amazing how Brightech included a bulb with the product.

It radiates a warm but, substantial type of glow so our entire bedroom is lit up by its light. We are definitely going to get another.

Elated with what we bought!We have included a lot of different colours in our living room so we were looking for something that would blend in with the existing dcor. The natural colour of the shade is ideal as it suits our existing dcor.

In addition,the firm base ensures the lamp won’t easily fall over. It is brilliantly manufactured. We are really enjoying this lamp.

I love it! It’s exactly what I wanted. Shines light on both my chairs. Switch us great , low so reachable from sitting position and you can have one lamp or the other or both turned on. Lamp looks micros sturdy and stands straight and is not super tall just right.

Arms are flexible so it makes it very versatile! Great buy would definitely recommend it !.

You never know how lamps are going to be a hit or bust until you actually get them home and this particular lamp works perfectly. It throws a tremendous amount of light so it illuminates the family room more than sufficiently and the lighting is adjustable from a single bulb to a dual.

The design is lovely and the goose necks are great. This was a great buy and it was on sale! Pros: Good Size, Sturdy, Artistic Design, Area of Illumination, Easy Assembly.

We’d intended to add some overhead lighting for a reading space in our den. Sally at Lamps Plus recommended this lamp as a far less expensive and much more efficient answer — so glad she did! It’s unobtrusive and attractive, and easy to direct the light as needed.

Lampshade is a great color but slightly frayed along part of the top edge but it can sit in the corner and not be seen. The lamp is substantial in size and fills up the space better than the lamp it replaced.

Impeccable lamp ! I had built it and switched it on in no time at all. It suits the limited space and I can simply swing the arm to direct the glow of light where I need it. An extremely sturdy lamp, although its height might cause it to tipple over.

It adds something special to my living room and I have not experienced it tippling over to date. I am very content with my purchase.

We bought this lamp after seeing it at our son’s place. They have 2 little boys that like to be active so I figured mamma did research to see if it would be a good fit for their place. I like that the lamps are metal and not plastic.

The stand is good solid construction too. I like that you can use each lamp independently to determine the amount of light needed. I would recommend this lamp.

Excellent lamp, versatile, adjustable lights. It is easy to adjust to light my desk, reading chair, and second computer desk. Decent weight, stable on carpet. Included light bulbs was a great bonus.

The lamp is well made and very easy to assemble. I wish it were a bit taller but I did know the height at the time of purchase. I love that the lights work independently of each other. With the included LED bulbs no more getting so hot you could barely turn the light switch off.

Wish the lights swiveled a bit more. Shipping took longer than expected in todays 2 day shipping world. The lamp did not ship for a full business week. Overall I love the look, goes great with my decor.

The light dispersal is very very focused. Would be great over a very small, focused area, but to help light up a room I have to tilt the head straight back. It looks kinda silly. Maybe one day it can just be a solo spotlight.

Our shelf floor lamp came well packaged with easy to follow instructions. It took us about 15 minutes to assemble and the cord is hidden nicely by the brackets supplied. It comes with a LED bulb, but I chose to swap it for a warmer incandescent instead.

Be aware the shade is definitely white so if your other lampshades are off white or cream, they won’t coordinate. I do love the fact that the light is fully shaded because it softens it and reduces glare.

Although the shelves are small they’re very handy for tissues and other things I need to keep by the couch and it’s easy to turn the light on with the pull chain. The only con is that the fixture itself is light and can be easily tipped over so you have to be careful and it will need a solid surface to sit on for stability.

I would not put it on a rug or carpet that had a deep pad underneath for example. All in all I’m pleased with it and would recommend to others. It’s also a good value for the price.

This is actually quite nice. It’s only mdf, but it looks better than just a cheap light. Super easy to build. Just need a Phillips screwdriver and less than 30 minutes. If recommend this if you’re on a budget but want something that looks better than a flew market find.

This is one of my favorite affordable floor lamps. Bought two. Why? Because it’s got more quality than it costs. Not cheaply made. Gives off plenty of light at highest setting, and also adjusts to a nice soft cream-yellow shade.

It’s heavy enough on the bottom to remain stable. Soft tough controls are nice. It’s alot better than most floor lamps in the under $50 price range. Bends nicely over the back of any chair without looking clunky or being an eye sore: just a minimal modern sleek design that works.

I recommend this product because of Taotronics history of providing affordable quality products. I prefer “form” over “function” and this lamp has ***. it’s a purchase I made twice. Makes a good gift that will be used by the recipient: you always need another floor lamp in the bedroom, living room, computer room, etc.

I wouldn’t hesitate giving this to a mechanic to use looking into an engine ***. ya know?.

Absolutely wonderful lamp. Not too bright, not too dim. It’s adjustable to change throughout the day, and I can flex it any which way I like. I’m an artist, and being able to move my light and control it is a HUGE asset to me because it affects my art so much! This is a great lamp, and an affordable one.

(( Also it seems to be great quality. The base is SO heavy, it’s not going anywhere and so sturdy! )).

Bought this as a gift for our grandson and was so fun putting it together with him ( he is 16) and hard to buy for. He loves this lamp, it was very easy to put together and exactly what he wanted. He did replace the light bulb that was included, with a LED bulb that shifts colors and it looks really cool in his room.

Grams scored big this time😊.

I love it. I would buy it again and I did buy a second one for the other side of my bed. There are things that could be better but nothing that stopped me from buying a second one. The price here for this product was better than anywhere else I looked.

But still seems over priced for what it is. It is exactly as described. Bottom shelf is thicker wood, heavier than the middle shelf for stability. Mine sits on carpet. if I tap it hard there is movement at the top, but I am not at all worried about it falling over.

The shelf with the USB port is made from plastic. Also the outlet I have mine plugged into, the top one is controlled by the light switch and the bottom has constant power. So now if I plug this in at the top in order to turn the light off at the switch the USB port and outlet won’t work.

The wire goes from the wall into the box under the USB port then up to the light. There is a screw to get into the box. It seems like an electrician or someone with basic knowledge can rewrite it to have two cords so light could be plugged into one controlled by switch and the USB port could be plugged in where it could get constant power.

Have not tried that yet but will later. Ordered on a Tuesday, estimated delivery email came that Saturday, Monday emailed it was in the way with tracking number. Arrived on Wednesday. It only took 7-8 days.

That was a week faster than the end of the original estimated delivery window, but at this point I think we’re all spoiled by shipping speeds of other companies. Looking forward to the arrival of my second lamps.

Something I never thought I’d say cause I hate lamps. I prefer overhead lighting. But this looks more like a shelf.

First, I have to say how happy I am with the packaging, It might sound strange, but so many products come poorly wrapped. This lamp was carefully wrapped with no wasted space. The lamp itself was easy to assemble, but I also am pretty experienced so the diagrams were clear.

I wanted a diffused soft light, so that works really nicely. I used this in bed at night,so the light is just right for reading, using my Kindle or phone. I purchased two more and one was wobbly but I just tightened it.

We picked the cherry wood which looks very nice.

This lamp is pretty interesting when assembled. The lamp shade is made of plastic and needs to be assembled. it was fiddly and took a while but once finished it is a distinct look. The description says the shade is made of wood, but be aware it’s plastic and you need to put it together one piece at a time.

The legs are made from 3 short pieces and need to be screwed together, but once assembled it looks good. The legs aren’t too substantial but I figure that’s what you get for the price! Overall it’s an interesting looking piece and I am happy with it.

very nice item. i ordered this for my spare room where i have a futon, tables and a tv. this lamp uses a 60 watt bulb and is very bright when lit. the shade is plastic and was rolled up. assembly was easy, came with slats for the plastic where it bubbles up when finished.

it looks great and not cheap when complete. all screw holes line up perfectly and there a adjustable rubber feet if u need to adjust for an uneven floor. i didnt touch mine. the wood is great quality and looks just like the picture when assembled.

it came with the light bulb, extra screws, and extra plastic slats in case. i enjoy beading in my spare time and there is enough light for me to bead. for me this purchase was great. delivery took 2 days.

it doesnt get better than that.

This was an exciting DIY project. I can admire it as I made it myself. The process of building was not complicated but rather time consuming. I spent most time on the construction of the lamp shade as it has alot of detail.

The instructions are minimal which makes the process longer. The screws need to be screwed in tightly especially on the legs so as to ensure the legs are firm and steady. Although the hanging cord detracted a bit from the overall look, I loved the fact that the switch was a foot switch.

The finished product was awesome and elegant.

Love my Brightech Orion LED Arc lights. I have two in the living room which I purchased well over a year ago. I tried to order another set for my recreation room. The lights were not in stock and the price has gone up about 30%.

Houzz was the only place I could find these lights in the same oil rubbed bronze color. I received them today. Great diffused LED lighting which I expect to last a very long time. Five adjustable arms & light heads arch over couch or chair.

Highly recommend for almost any decor.

Arrived quickly and when we assembled it, it looked more stylish and upscale and I expected. It was a really great surprise. Fantastic quality, love that nickel color of it and how stable and sturdy it is.

I love the graceful arc of the lamp that has allowed me to turn off the harsh fluorescent lighting in my office. I looked for a long time to find the lamp that would cast enough light on my workspace to allow me to make that switch.

Everyone who stops by my office comments on the beautiful lamp and the gentler office atmosphere. I’m thrilled.

It is excellent that we did not have to put in a lot of effort to make it. We managed to build it and without reference even to the directions. The velcro seam on the shade is an issue if the entire perimeter of the lamp can be seen from all directions.

You need to ensure the lamp is placed somewhere that does not expose the seam. Besides the shade lacking in quality , it is a srong lamp due to its substantial base and it has a lovely wooden appearance.

What arobust lamp and in its entirety ,its appearance is fabulous.

This has a fashionable look to it. From its timeous delivery to the manner in which the lamp was delivered ,I have no complaints. It is exceptionally easy to build. I do feel the outer fabric and plastic inner of the shade is not ideal but it is still appealing to look at.

If the shade is a real issue , you can alter the design a bit by choosing an alternate shade. I am so happy with my purchase that I cannot stop admiring it and it still pleases me after having it for some time.
