20 Best Floor Jacks For Trucks (2023 Updated)

I’m a poor, do-it-at-home-yourselfer and so needed a floor jack that wouldn’t put too big of a dent in my already thin wallet, but wouldn’t fall on me either the first time I put it under a load. Combine the reviews I read here & elsewhere as well, the F-767 looked like it would fit the bill, and you know what? It did.

I used it to change the brakes on my wife’s small SUV yesterday & it worked great. While I of course had jack stands under the car as well, “just in case” they weren’t needed as the jack never lost pressure.

Keep in mind that the F-767 is SMALL. Not much bigger than your old scissor jack, but it’s a whole heck of a lot better. So much in fact, that I’m gonna leave it in my wife’s SUV should she ever have a flat.

I can’t vouch how well it would hold up under constant use, but after using it once, it’s basically paid for itself in what it would have cost me to take her SUV in to replace the front pads & rotors.

So as far as I care, I’m already out ahead. You just can’t beat it for $50.

The low profile floor jack fit my purpose for use with a 1998 Chevrolet Corvette. With the vehicle having a low ground clearance and my standard jack would not work. The jack fit under the vehicle with no issue and lifted the vehicle with ease.

My son needed a low profile jack for working on low & lowered vehicles. So for his 21st birthday, I bought him this. It’s sturdy, gets the job done & no one could beat TSC’s price. Thank you TSC from a long-time customer!.

I’ve read the other reviews and can sympathize. But my jack and experiences were much better. I bought AutoZone’s Duralast 3 ton “garage” (floor) jack 7 – 10 years ago and used it occasionally (6 – 12 times per year) to lift medium-sized vehicles like our family van and commute car.

During that time, it required hydraulic fluid top-off twice when lift height per pump tapered. The second time I added fluid, while hurrying to fit a two hour project into 1/2 hour, I managed to open and add fluid to the wrong port.

This is humiliating to admit since the check-valve screw I removed to do this was clearly marked with a special red cap with the warning “Do Not Adjust”. This, predictably, shot the mechanisms that block the coordination of hydro flows until it could be opened and repaired.

I wasn’t able to find a manual or diagram online to work from, so called our local AutoZone to request one, and admitted my ignorant move to the store manager in the process. To my surprise, and on what I know to be one of their busiest times of the week there, I was told to bring it by to “swap it out for a new one”.

I reminded him that I had no receipt, had used it for several years, and had ruined it through pure impatience, stupidity, and 50 year old eyes w/out reading glasses, but he insisted that I come get a new one.

This jack had cost a shade over $100 years ago, but it supported my work sufficiently and I’m flat amazed that they backed this product to the extent they did. I haven’t always been thrilled w/ AutoZone (insufficient understanding of auto concepts among service reps at times), but the purchase of this house-brand floor jack has served me very well.

* One star deducted for having to add hydraulic fluid. If you get one, don’t worry. The correct top-off location is a no-brainer, I’m sorry to say *.

This is working great for my side by side maintenance, the extension allows me to get the RZR up without any blocks to where the suspension is fully extended and the tires are a few inches off the ground.

The handle storage is a little substandard by only having the single ring that you can see in the picture and no place for the other end but I am happy with the jack function and operation.

I had the opportunity to test this Sunex 6602LP Service jack. The jack came ready to go as the air was already bled out of the pump. All I had to do was assemble the handle and off I went! I used this service jack to lift a vehicle while performing a four wheel brake service.

The jack worked flawlessly. I only had to pump the jack handle twice and the saddle had already contacted the lift point on the bar. 3 more pumps and the tire was off the ground. I noticed the jack was very consistent throughout each use.

The rear casters made positioning the lift arm very easy even under conditions where I didn’t have a lot of leverage (on the ground setting the saddle up to the lift point, using one arm, ect). I appreciate the small detailed like the knurled top portion of the handle for good grip.

I liked the handle bumper (foam cover) on the lower half of the jack handle as extra insurance that the vehicle panels will not be marred in case of contact. The jack sat under the car and stayed positively in place.

I feel this is due to the wide stance of the front wheels and the long wheel base. Another reason the jack stays so well grounded is the structure. The jack is all metal (steel) and tips the scales at nearly 100 pounds.

Bend and lift! Above all, the jack worked well, was easy to use, and was assuring my stable during my application. This jack outperforms other jacks I have owned and used. I received this product for testing purposes on behalf of Sunex Tools.

I bought this jack to replace an aluminum one that was leaking down. Needless to say this jack is much heavier but it is sturdy. I kine how it has such a low profile and still lift to 24 inches. It was super easy to put together and the instructions for setup before first use was real easy to follow.

For the money I feel it is a great value. So far the only down side it that it doesn’t have a saddle pad and it’s heavy.

The old saying “You get what you pay for” defiantly applies to this floor jack. I got tired of lugging around my cheap 100 pound Harbor Freight made in China steel jack around the garage. I also did not trust it with my life or especially my teenage sons life.

I decided to “splurge” on a good quality, light weight aluminum floor jack like the professionals use. When this jack arrived and I took it out of the box I almost wanted to display it on the fireplace mantle in my Livingroom because it looked so good.

This Aluminum Jack looks like a piece of art work. It not only looks great but it functions great as well. About 6 pumps to full extension, very light weight, rolls around easily, and has a low profile to fit under my Corvette.

Needed a jack a little more robust than my 1. 75T Sunex Roadster for one of our cars. At almost 60#, it’s a bit hefty to carry around , but as light or lighter than any other 3T jack. I can’t imagine regularly lugging around a hybrid or steel one 20 or 40 pounds heavier.

Nice combination of lift and effort. Wider diameter hollow side handles would have been a nice touch for easier transport, but you can’t have everything.

I purchased the Sunex 3 Ton Aluminum floor jack between 3-4 yrs ago and it’s never let me down since (no pun intended). Weighing in at just over 60 lbs, it’s never twisted, rolled or shown any other signs of instability or fatigue while lifting even the heaviest of vehicles.

I’ve had to leave it partially under vehicles still supporting them in the rain for days and it has never rusted. The Rapid pump feature raises the arm in no time, controlling the lowering of cars is effortless and smooth everytime.

Bought this jack to replace an older AC Delco one I had been using sparingly. This Blackhawk jack oozes quality, and the lift height is perfect for my 99 Sebring which rides really low on the ground, giving me 0 clearance for maintenance.

Being able to lift my car high enough to get under comfortably has been a Godsend, and I don’t have any worries about the jack giving out halfway through a life. As always PLEASE USE JACK STANDS after raising your vehicle.

I haven’t had any issues with the jack giving out during lifting, but it is not meant to hold a weight continuously. Lift your vehicle as high as you safely can, and then jack stand it for your own well being.

Your livelihood is worth an extra minute of work!.

looks nice a sturdy, works and gets the job done, however after 3 months of very light use, it started leaking from the hydraulic pump seal, unable to fix it myself, need to return it. this should last many many years, not 3 months.

Seems to be just fine. I lifted a RAV4 with it, no problem. Haven’t actually tried it yet on a vehicle weighing 3.5 tons.

Perfect for me. I was looking for a heavy duty jack to get my bike in the air (800+lb cruiser) and even cleared my car for an oil change. It has a safety bar that keeps the jack from coming down on you.

I was considering the HF lifts, but this one checked more boxes for me and looks well made.

I am a female that owns a Kawasaki Ninja zx6r. I do all the work on my own truck and bike. This motorcycle jack works great for assisting me in being able to work on my bike without any assistance. There is nothing worse than wanting to start working on a project and having to stop to get someone bigger and stronger to help you.

This jack allows me to lift the bike up, and access everything I need to get access to. I can also easily maneuver the motorcycle down, which is just as important. This jack has allowed me to accomplish a bunch more projects and customization work that I never would have been to do without being able to maneuver around the motorcycle fully.

The manufacturing of the jack itself is really stable, and strong feeling. It feels like it is really well made and sturdy. I like that I can feel confident working on my motorcycle while it holds it up, I don’t feel like I have to worry about it releasing and my bike falling.

I bought this jack a few weeks ago as we were working with other standard jacks and jack stands to lift a 750 pound Quad to repair the transmission. the way we were tring to lift the quad was very unsteady and I felt unsafe.

I purchased this jack and it was like night and day and it made the lifting and working on the quad much safer and was very steady. We did use a strap as suggested that made it even better. If you work on your own equipment as we do this is a must have.

I have used other ATV/garden Tractor jacks and this one is much better and well made. Glad I found it!.

Purchased becasue it was US made and was willing to pay more to get a US made jack. The frame and wheels are excellent quality. That’s where the good news ends. Most jacks at half the price have dual pump pistons.

This unit only has one and it shows. No rapid raising of the jack. Each handle pump moves the lift plate about a quarter inch. It takes forever just to get the jack high enough to touch whatever it is you’re lifting.

To make things worse, the piston only works in the first 25% or so of the handle stroke. In other words, you’re pumping the handle in very short 3″ – 4″ strokes (see video). The handle roller doesn’t even touch the piston until that low.

You about have to lay on the ground to use the jack. There’s also no such thing as slowly lowering a raised load. Pretty much on or off so whatever you lifted is coming down fast. Called the company and they said all of this was “normal” for this jack.

So also contacted a local service center and they said the same thing. Sad to say that you should spend your money elsewhere if performance is what you want. The summary is that the jack is well built and would likely last forever, but the performance is so bad we never use it.

These jacks were built like tanks back in the day and lasted for years. I spent $400 to buy a quality jack like this instead of $130 at Harbor Freight. Although I basically use this for simple maintenance on my personal vehicle, the rear casters have failed me twice.

You can get the casters online for $40 each at the right website. I’ll probably just save my money and consider buying another jack instead of dumping more money into this jack replacing it with another “junk” caster.

Sometimes you just need a little Jack, this jack is rated at 1 to 2 tons and is nice and compact. The action is smooth much better than other small jacks I’ve used over the years. Sometimes you just need a small jack on smaller cars are for other projects what do you need a little extra lifting effort and would be good for lawn tractors.

The piston is 6 inches long fully extend it and you get another inch and a half by unscrewing the extension on the top which has a nice knurled finish for support. The base seems a little small for the length of the wall extend the base is 3 inches square with good solid steel.

The handle could be improved seems a bit sloppy and poorly made. When releasing the pressure for the jack to come down it’s a nice smooth motion and the valve to turn moves freely and smoothly in both directions.

Overall very nice little Jack.

This jack is very heavy and heavy duty. It lifts the object in a single or second pump. The lifting range is incredible. This easily fits under a Camry and a block isnt needed to lift a factory 4×4 F150.

Just park it somewhere that is out of the way when not in use. Also follow maintenance and purging instructions.

I bought this jack to replace an aging 1 1/4 ton floor jack I have. I needed it almost right away to pull a transmission. When lifting a light load, it works as advertised. 7. 5 pumps to full height.

When it has a load, like the rear end of the car I lifted, it takes more pumps to get it to the top of the range. Not bad though. About twice as many pumps. The rubber pad on the saddle isn’t very durable.

It split on the first lift. But the saddle is a standard size to be able to fit attachments such as the TCI transmission cradle.

I do automotive side work in my driveway at home. I was skeptical about buying this jack but took a chance. And boy am I glad I did. This jack came packaged looking like a quality product. Easy set up.

This jack lifted my 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis off the ground off of both right side tires with ease. Paired with a good set of jack stands this is an awesome floor jack. Glad I made the purchase. Will be buying another Sunex Floor jack again.

Compared to another entry level jack, this one wins. The handle can be assembled and inserted with no tools, the other one needed a wrench. It is much easier to pull around, and can lift twice as fast with its dual pistons.

The handle uses a square drive, whereas the other one used cogs that eventually misaligned, and needed a washer to remedy.

Very high quality aluminum jack. Superior to others at the same price. (1) it’s almost entirely aluminum. The only ferrous steel parts I could find were: hydraulic pump and lateral lift bar, the hoods of the small rear casters, rubber padded jack plate, hardware.

Other “Aluminum” jacks have more steel parts (like the lifting arms) and weight at least 10lbs more. (2) front casters seem to be high quality. They roll very smoothly with close tolerances. (3) overall fit and finish were very good.

No raw/sharp edges, nice paint, properly lubed and ready to use. I also bought a HF “Aluminum” 2-ton at the same time and side-by-side it was very clear the JEGS jack is a better made, higher quality tool.

I have three of these jacks mostly because I really like it. They are light but strong and raise the vehicle high. We did have one of the jacks break a pump piston and apparently that is not a part sold separately.

We are using that jack for parts or will make the broken part. I bought the third jack to replace the broken one because I like it so much. I wish we could buy that one bad part though.

Only used twice Corolla 2008, point of full extension dropped a little. Followed directions before first use, oil level full. Safety release from over extending? Returning for examination / repair. Over all great floor jack build well for long term use, easy to move.

Needed to work on a jeep WK rear suspension and was tired of putting blocks under my old jack. I would have liked the post that comes with it to be longer by 2 inches. Easy to make a new one and it’s vehicle specific not something everyone will have an issue with.

This Jack is a performance monster. 3 full cranks and my B8 S5 was in the air far high enough to slide Jack stands under. This Jack is a beast of a tool. It’s heavy as all out. No need to hit the gym.

Just lug this thing up and down your driveway a few times and you be ready for the shower. It also has a very long reach and a profile that enables it to get under any car. The extension pole is pretty long so if your garage is short on width you will need to work with it at an angle in order to have the space to jack.

Excellent build quality. This thing is heavy, solid, well constructed and can handle any job. If you have an epoxied floor I recommend switching the wheels to polyurethane. I found some 4″ steel wheels wrapped in poly with an 800lb capacity and they work well and holding up so far.

This is the best Jack. If it wasn’t for the weight and overly long pole, I would give it 5 stars.

Purchased this to replace a much smaller Craftsman jack I’ve had for years. Many of you might know that Audi and VW cars typically have two lift points – the pinch weld and a secondary one underneath usually using a giant rubber bumper (I’m sure other makes may have double lift points as well).

When having to do certain home garage maintenance and modifications the car needs to be up on all four Jack stands and anyone who‘s had to do this using just the pinch welds knows how difficult this can be be so I got this to reach further under the car to allow me to jack the car using the secondary lift points to free up the pinch welds for jack stands.

I won’t lie and say this jack is light – as many others have stated this thing is heavy duty and I’d bet most users won’t even be able to lift it off the ground by themselves. But the reach and speed it jacks up is well worth the weight trade off.

Look, I live in an apartment complex, I’m currently in college right? I live on the third floor, I weigh 150 lbs and bench 150. I can’t bring it back up the 3 flights of stairs back to my apartment. But I’ll be damned if this isn’t the best jack I’ve ever used in my whole life.

It has a permanent spot in my cars back seat (totally not due to me not being able to bring it back up) and I’ve used it countless times because of that. It’s lower than a harbor freight Daytona, and long enough to reach almost any point on any car.

The Unijack is a great combination of bottle jack & jack stand. It is strong, sturdy, versatile and well designed. It is compact enough to carry in your trunk. It lifts with the ease of a typical bottle jack and Secures your vehicle as it latches (similar to most jack stands) as you jack up your ride.

Ideal for most SUV and Trucks. Now, they Only draw back is with cars and Low SUVs with Pinch Weld jack points because the Unijack stands Too High to get under those areas and you must jack from Alternate spots or use another jack to get the vehicle high enough to use the Unijack.

Otherwise, a great overall Jack.

It doesn’t work the way I expected to. It almost feels like the hydraulic fluid is low. You have you pump alot of short pumps instead of less long pumps. If my husband hadn’t used it in desperation I would return.

Jack is compact and light weight but is not a quick pump so it takes a while for it to reach the lifting surface. Like the swivel handle and the carrying case.

I bought this jack after I had a flat and my standard truck jack would not fit under the jack points. It is really low profile at 3. 5″ but rises to 14″ and stores behind the seat. A little heavy at 40 pounds but it has a plastic case that makes handling and storing in your truck or garage easy.

The 360 degree rotation of the lifing handle is a nice feature. The aluminum racing jacks are lighter at 27 pounds but only lift 1-1/2 tons versus 2-1/2 tons for this jack and they cost a lot more. This jack is well built, easy to use, inexpensive and should serve you well in the truck or garage.

I thought this was the neatest thing until I had to put it to real world use. Bought this thing 3 weeks ago, July 2020. We then took of on our trip from Oklahoma to Yellowstone, long ways from home on our way back we discovered one of our 1 month old tires was getting low.

No big deal we will use our new super duty awesome safety jack. Put the jack under the travel trailer (not attached to the tow vehicle) (weighing only 4500lbs) and it jacked up the trailer will absolutely no problems.

Once the tire was replaced with the spare I proceeded to let the jack down, this is were the problem is the jack does not go down all the way. Now my trailer was suspended with the tires about an inch off the ground and no way to lower it off the jack.

Had to call out road side assistance to put another tiny winy bottle jack to get out our new Super duty piece of junk jack. I am still heated yes, reading other reviews I see that this is common. Stay away from this product as it simply does not work.

As many people know, it is difficult to lift a unibody SUV such as a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The only authorized jack point in the front is the pinch weld. It is impossible to use a floor jack, then place a jackstand at the same location.

This all-in-one jack solves the problem I had no problem lifting the front of my Jeep with the pair of jacks. Even though the front end is very heavy, the jacks were stable. I had a quickjack, but could not trust it and returned it.

These were hundreds of dollars cheaper. I’m glad I found them.

I bought two of the 3 Ton unijacks for my little Jeep Wrangler. They worked fine at first. Used them maybe four times and kept them in storage. Of course warranty ran out and they both just quit working.

Trouble shooting they both had fluid, Suggested maybe bleeding them of air but piston will not even go up to perform bleed function.

This was shipped to Nampa, Idaho. As it came, three staples were connected on only one side. The cardboard at the bottom was worn through at two edges and some red paint worn off of the bottom corner.

The black handle had no padding between the handle and the red jack, so it scrapped some red and black paint off. I am pleased with the construction of the jack and would order again. The above is minor but it would not take much to address the issues for you as a company.

Yes, after the first use the jack will be scratched. IT IS how it comes “pristine” out of the box that grabs attention. Hope this helps, Again, very pleased with product :).

I am really pleased with this 42” all-cast Jack from Hi-Lift. Made in USA in a family owned company, this is a very useful tool. Used correctly it can lift, winch and clamp. It also conveniently came in a red color very complementary to my granite crystal pearl JK with red accents.

I bought it with the Teraflex HD hinge reinforcement and their Alpha accessory tool to mount the tailgate hinge. The 42” size is perfect with this tailgate mount as the top of the jack does not extend past the JK soft top (I repositioned the Clevis).

I recommend a neoprene cover to protect the gearing as well as a jack handle isolator (mine cost $7). Definitely read the instructions and lubricate gearing before use. If it’s your first jack I recommend watching a video on YouTube demonstrating safe use as proper precautions must be followed.

Overall outstanding piece of hardware!.

The jack works well enough–about as well as my smaller bumper jack by another company. I was very disappointed with how wobbly the base was and by the fact that the base and handle are held in with cotter pins instead of bolts.

I replaced both of those as soon as I saw that. I also replaced the Grade 5 bolt in the “adjustable top clamp clevis” with a thicker Grade 8 bolt. I do like the multiple tapered holes in the base plate that will allow it to be mounted.

Overall, I think either I overpaid or Hi-Lift under delivered. I probably won’t buy another one from Hi-Lift.

The size and carrying case were very convenient. Other than that there was an extreme lack of quality control in the product. Missing shear pins and bolts that I had to provide before it was usable. After using it well within it’s ratings it began to leak large amounts of hydraulic fluid after every lift.

There is simply no good reason to ever own a jack of this caliber.

I liked that it was relatively easy to use once I figured out how to turn the lift or lift-release knob in the front. I didn’t like that it wasn’t listed anywhere in the manual or the instructions. I had to view a YT video online for a similar product.
