This spider trap is simple to use and also good looking; therefore, it will not stand out aesthetically where it is placed in the home. The spider trap is ready to use right out of the box – there is no placing adhesive or peeling away of paper strips to expose the adhesive.

The only warning with this, is do not stick your finger “inside” the trap as you pull it out of the box or your finger will stick to it. In the spring we get really big spiders in our finished basement and have never come up with a way to trap them until now.

They take approx. 3-7 days to become “effective” and, depending on your own infestation, they’re not particularly “pretty” once they do (UGH!) One of the best insect traps that was invented. I remember using these as far back as the 1980’s. I don’t understand why you can’t buy these in the stores anymore. As effective as these traps are, you’d think they would be flying off the shelves!! They really do the trick.

I like the simple concept that insects enter, get stuck in the glue and that’s that. No fogging, no fumes, no dangerous insecticides, no mess. I’m glad these traps are still available because there’s absolutely no downside to using these traps to getting the job done every time you need and use them.

This item arrived in a long cardboard box. Unfortunately the Fly Stik was not covered with a non-stick protector. So. the Fly Stik was stuck to the inside of the cardboard box. Had to tear the box apart, getting the “sticky goo” all over my fingers and then was not able to get all the cardboard off the Fly Stik.

Not sure if it will even catch flies. Of course, I couldn’t return the item because there was no indication that there was a “sticky” problem until I had torn the box open. Can’t returned it as unopened.

We LOVE these fly sticks. Talk about sticky!!! They REALLY attract the flies. When we clean stalls we put a wheel barrow full of horse manure away from the barn in the sun and tilt one of these up on a pitch fork and oh my goodness, you would not believe what you come back to 3-4 hours later.

These are amazing – they say fly sticks, but they catch wasps (red,black and striped), dirt dobbers, moths, flies and just about any other flying insect. Our house was plagued with all of these when we moved in and I started using fly sticks and have really thined their populations.

This case I sent to my son who is renovating a house. He says they are working well. They also look nicer around the house than the old style fly stips.

I was excited to get my Rescue Fruit Fly Trap because it’s summer and that means that the fruit flies are all over the place. I love that this trap because it’s made in the USA and it’s reusable. The trap comes with two packets of natural food-based liquid that is used to attract the fruit flies into the trap.

The trap is spill resistant and Rescue claims that the liquid will work for two weeks, however it does last longer than the two weeks. Once the trap is assembled, it’s ready to attract fruit flies and they will go to the liquid and get trapped in the funnel shaped trap without any weird stickie traps, or electric devices that are annoying to place around the house.

In the summer, it’s inevitable to get some fruit flies in the house, especially if you like to keep fresh fruit around, so this trap is a necessity. I don’t notice the trap at all once it’s set up and don’t worry about it until I notice that the bait needs to be changed.

I would strongly recommend the Rescue Reusable Fruit Fly Trap to anyone that doesn’t like fruit flies in their home! I don’t have any issues with annoying fruit flies now that I have this trap in my home.

I got this because a couple times every summer I end up with fruit flies in the house so figured I’d keep it on hand. Well the time came to try it out. It’s small and looks pleasant enough. Much nicer to look at than the contraption I built with the top of the 20oz bottle cut off and inverted inside the bottom with red wine vinegar poured in it.

Although this contraption I built worked great, it wasn’t really great to look at on the counter for a couple of days while it worked its magic. This little contraption works in a very similar way, basically giving them space to be lured in by the scent of the liquid but making the escape routes very narrow so they can’t find their way out.

The device came with 2 packets of liquid mix. You use them 1 at a time. They smell strongly of red wine vinegar so I imagine after using both of the packets it comes with, you could substitute rwv and keep using the device.

I set up the device and left it on the counter for about 2 days. I didn’t have any more fruit flies! Basically they go down in the trap and drown, so all you have to do is take the lid off and dump it down the sink.

Clean and easy way to get rid of those pesky fruit flies!.

After seeing the low stars and reading a few negative reviews I was hesitant, but desperate and decided to still give this product a try. I am beyond happy to say these little things did not let me down.

I took a picture of only one of them, but all 4 that I bought were filled up. These fruit flies had gotten so out of control while I was a way for a few weeks in my home I’m so happy this caught them basically all.

The liquid did last for about 2 weeks. I’m about to buy another pack because there’s still a handful of them left and hopefully after that I will never see another fruit clue for many years to come. Lol.

Just make sure to try different places to catch these things. I at first placed one on the windowsill and another in a different part of my kitchen. As soon as I noticed the one that was filling up quickly and the one on my windowsill wasn’t I switched it and placed it basically next to one another.

Then I placed another 2 next to each other in the dining room as it’s adjacent to my kitchen and they were in there as well. Either way you will not be disappointed with this product, just be careful not to tip it over as the liquid will pour out.

So we recently got a kitten from a friend and didn’t know that he was infested with fleas until we gave him a bath a couple weeks after getting him, we assumed he had one or two! Of course by that time my 2 senior dogs and house were infested! I’ve been giving my 2 girls the biopel plus for over a year so fleas weren’t a problem before hand.

We started the kitten, bohdi on it as soon as I made sure he was old enough but that and baths with both of innovets shampoos plus lots of continuous laundry just weren’t enough, especially since one of my girls is allergic to fleas! So I quickly went through my first bottle of this and am just about done with the 2nd and thankfully we are all now flea free!!.

This comb works well, as I comb my dog’s hair, I have a tweezer in my other hand that has been dipped in alcohol (the moisture helps to trap the fleas) and a small bowl of alcohol to put the fleas in afterwards.

With each stroke I check the comb and any fleas on the comb I use the tweezer to catch them or squish them against the comb. I leave some residue dog hair on the comb so that the fleas are trapped in the hair and gives me extra time to get them.

Then I put the fleas in the alcohol bowl to make sure they are dead. This comb works!!!!.

I bought this flea comb along with the medication recommended by my vet to use on my mini Rex rabbit. This comb was very helpful in removing fleas. Dip the comb in a small bowl of water with a little dish soap added to it.

Any fleas picked up by the comb can be killed immediately by dipping it in the soapy water. My rabbit is now free of fleas but he still loves for me to brush him with the comb. The comb is easy to hold and even looks like a big flea.

My favorite of all flea combs. The tines are placed perfect for fleas or just to comb out kittens and short hair cats and long hair booty comb-outs. I suggest this comb to all adopters and cat owners!

Works well at attracting flies, but has design flaw. The cap should be larger to help keep rain from getting in. Bag fills with water and makes it almost impossible to get cap pushed down, without it leaking all over the place.

Put the bag inside of a zip lock bag and two plastic bags. Somehow it still leaked and stunk up the whole area. The smell makes you nauseous. We decided to not use this product anymore. If it had a bigger cap that could act as a rain stopper, it might get a better review.

We had one bag where it worked like it should, all the others filled up from the rain making it so you can’t close the cap. I will say a skunk smells better than what we smelled when it leaked out.

I bought these to go in my son’s pig stall. Everyone else at the barn bought the dome fly traps. Seems like I’m the only one catching flies. The small bag only lasted 2 days in the stall before it was filled with dead flies and completely crawling with maggots.

I just bought 2 big ones and hung in the stall. Just beware, the smell is absolutely horrifying it is death warmed over. I have a stomach of steel but this bag definitely made me gag.

I have 3 pets: a domestic shorthair cat, a pomeranian, and a cur. All 3 recently got fleas for the first time so I ordered this comb, among other flea removing/preventing essentials. This comb worked for all 3 of my babies, collecting fleas and eggs.

No problem whatsoever with the change in texture of all 3 fur-types, this comb did it’s job. The comb is solid, very well made. It’s comfortable to hold, thanks to the rubberized grip. The comb itself is made of metal and has rounded tips so it glides comfortably against their skin vs scraping and hurting them.

It’s a great price and works like it should. Highly recommended!!.

My cat has thick hair, I use this comb to remove loose hair all over after deshedding her undercoat. She gets cranky when i use a slicker brush but likes it when i run the comb gently on top of her head, face, neck and under/in between her legs.

The thin metal bristles are spaced closely but allows you to comb through fur smoothly. This would be better if it’s double sided with a wider spaced metal bristles option. The handle has an easy grip feel, it’s comfortable on your fingers.

I’ve been using this on my cat for a few weeks now and so far she’s not fighting with it.

This comb seems to be a good quality, and it works great on our cats. We were able to verify they had no fleas. Though there’s a picture of a German Shepherd on the package, don’t fool yourself into thinking a flea comb will work on a dog with a thick double coat.

Our dog has a very thick coat, and deep down I knew no flea comb would work on him. I was right. I can’t get this more than a couple of millimeters through his fur before it’s stuck. I’m not taking off any stars, though, because Hartz can’t control the laws of physics.

I had been using the Starbar Captivator fly trap and it was working well. When it was finished I would push the top back down and tape over it with duct tape to seal it up and put it in a trash bag by itself to seal up the smell of death.

I thought I’d give this Rescue brand a try since it was a bit cheaper and it also had great reviews. I hang them from a fence, about 3 feet from the ground (wire hook through the hole in the plastic top).

It captured lots of flies just like the Starbar, but not any more than, and not any quicker. The Rescue has a stronger smell that was way more annoying than the Starbar. Then when I went to remove it and tape over the top with tape, I noticed one of the plastic seams at the top pleat was open! I carefully tried to tape over it to seal that spot up.

Then I noticed it was leaking from the bottom as well. The seam at the bottom was opening up! Before I knew it I had a total mess dripping out on the ground. I covered it with dirt to keep the smell down.

It’s like the plastic bag was just falling apart from a little handling. Maybe it can’t handle the Texas heat and sun. I’ve got two more of these Rescue traps, but I’m not taking the risk of it opening up on me again.

I handle these things very gently because I don’t want any liquid sloshing out. I’ll stick with the Captivator since it is a rigid plastic pail with no seams to come apart.

These things work. Easy to use. You need your own string or wire. Cut around the top where indicated, pop out the hanger/fly entrance and add water. At this point I would recommend hanging it up away from doors or places you hang out in a lot and filling to the water line after hanging because once that little packet in there dissolves, it will stink badly.

That being said, that is where the flies will be. Not flying in your door, or all over your poor dog snoozing or his kibble, or anything else. Even a few feet from your trash can and they will go in the trap instead.

But the smell is pretty horrific. I am willing to deal with that as long as I don’t have to be close to it for any length of time. So 5 stars for working as advertised and well. I would say the bad smell zone is about 5 feet around it give or take.

I trash them and replace about once a month but the brand does offer a reusable one with bait you can buy but I don’t really want to wash the fly morgue so I just glove up and quickly cut it and let it fall into a trash bag and tie it up immediately.

Then replace with a fresh one.

These things work like a charm. We hang ours on a twig of our ficus tree in the middle of the heat of the Arizona summer. We have a problem with flies near our garbage cans and then they come inside the garage and eventually into our home.

Within 2 days of hanging a new bag there can be up to 40 live flies trapped inside. These little bags have been a game changer. Instead of getting 20 flies a day in the kitchen, we get 2. I spray the house flies with Zevo, (which I also buy/order from Walmart.

) Zevo is another complete and total game changer. I do not care for the smell of Zevo but it is not offensive to everyone in our family, only me, so I use spray Microban (which I also order/buy from Walmart) to wipe up the Zevo oily residue and dead fly.

After a massive fruit fly invasion I tried all sorts of remedies. I decided to try Zevo and it worked miracles! The blue light makes a nice little night light and is mana to all insects. They cannot resist the light.

I was so impressed I purchased two more to place around the house. Not only did it capture my nasty fruit flies but I also mosiquitos and regular flies. This is a must in any house!.

I did catch one mouse with these, but that is a rarity. I think a bigger critter somehow moves faster and doesn’t get stuck. However, I buy these to catch insects I definitely do not want in my house.

I place them at the corners of my big garage door. I catch small lizards and scorpions and other. I mainly want to stop the scorpions. One suggestion for TomCat is to add some type of light poison to the glue, so that when lizards, etc are caught, they don’t have a grueling slow death of starvation.

These are incredibly sticky little traps. I think they’re great to have around the house for a variety of critters. My main reason for getting these was to help with insects. We have roaches and spiders and other insects that get into the house.

We have had issues with rats/mice outside and in the garage. So I put these in the garage and throughout my house to control insects. They work great to catch all the little creepy crawlers. I haven’t caught any of the rats/mice yet but still hopeful they will come in the garage at some point where they will be stopped by these traps.

Love the product but have found that most flying insects do not go to the “solid white” ones. The ones that have red imprints on them work great for attracting insects. Problem is you can not tell by the packaging which ones are solid white and which ones have imprinting on them.

It would be nice to know how to tell when purchasing. Is there something I am missing on the packaging to provide this information? Any help would be great appreciated and save us time and money.

I had carpenter ants. Tried for alnost 2 months to get rid of them. With this product, you can apply the gel directly to areas all around the outside of the house where you see ant activity. I just squeezed it directly onto a number of areas.

A tree base, around door frames, siding, outside vents to the crawlspace under the house, etc. Used 2 of tge 4 tubes. Within 3 days I saw their population go down significantly. By a week, it looks like they are gone! I have tried 2 other products first.

The ants didn’t care and actually hung out around the bait traps for weeks. That was another area I applied some of the gel. They have all disappeared. From what I’m seeing so far, I’d recommend.

Best ant bait I’ve EVER used. I used this product on carpenter ants several years ago. Took 5 weeks but got ride of them. This time just the tiny sugar ants but they were persistent. Coming up from crawl space into bathroom for water.

Exterminator treatment only lasted a week. Laid down a strip of Advion gel and they came an ate for a week and since then nothing. Not one ant. They evidently shared with their colony. Downside is that MANY come and eat and you must be patient and allow them to take over the eating area until entire colony has eaten.

could take a few weeks of seeing a LOT more ants than before, but tha’ts how it works. A quick kill would only kill that ant, not their friends. Be patient.

As a holistic person dealing with a flea crisis, I was relieved to find this effective product. I learned from another natural health friend who has 11 cats and had worked for a vet, that this product was safe for kittens and puppies and to use as a premise spray.

After many years of use, she (and the vet hospital) had seen little or no adverse reactions. And the pyrethrins did not cause the insect resistance that apparently occurs with other harsher chemical products.

I have found Ovitrol to be an effective and safe premise spray when used around my two elderly, health-compromised cats, two five-year-old dogs, and three generations of human family.

Ovitrol + has been the only product I have used on my past & present dogs. The spray repels fleas & ticks by application to their fur without entering the blood stream of my pets. We have never had either.

We also use Siphotrol yard spray. Our property is heavily wooded, but we know our pets are protected. Also works on black flies, and I’ve even found it useful (not as directed on the label), for those nasty Japanese beetles – keeps them from eating my rose bushes! I like the fact that it is safe to be used on young pups & kittens (follow the directions!) Highly recommend this product!.

My vet recommended this for a topical flea treatment for my dogs/cats. While it is not good for long term heavy infestation, it is great for those small pesky ones or the leftovers at the end of the flea season.

You can watch the fleas literally drop off your fur baby. Great buy.

I had a VERY BAD cockroach problem. This product appears to be working well. It is easy to use. After placing the gel I wiped the tip with a tissue and then replaced the cap with no mess. I had a cat that used to eat cockroaches so it would not have been suitable to use when she was alive.

I purchased a packet of home brewing bottle caps to place the gel in and placed them at intervals on the floor and bench in my kitchen and bathroom and placed one on the floor at each side of all of my doorways, including the front and back doors.

I have 3 cavity sliding doors (which are usually left open) and placed gel directly onto the surface. I was very surprised at how well the cockroaches were attracted to the bait and have found at least 12 dying or dead cockroaches in the house.

The amount of gel that has been eaten and replaced would indicate that other cockroaches have eaten the gel. It has been nice to go into the kitchen at night time and turn on the light and not see huge cockroaches scurrying away! Getting rid of them has been easy.

Now I’ve got to get rid of the mess they’ve been making.

Last year my yard was completely infested with flies, they were everywhere, they would get in my house and it was impossible to be outside and enjoy it. The flies were literally driving me crazy! I tried glue traps, sprays, homemade trap, even other store bought traps, they would catch a few but not nearly enough.

I just happened to come across the RESCUE FLY TRAP and figured what would it hurt to try them? They were pretty reasonably priced compared to other traps I had used. I have never been so happy to have just bought something.

The RESCUE FLY TRAPS are by far the best product for flies. Just hours of having the trap out there is already several flies, within a week its full or nearly full. We got so much relief with these RESCUE TRAPS around.

I will never use any other fly traps. Also, just beware the stuff that is used for bait stinks really bad, it shouldn’t be used inside or even to close to where you sit or spend alot of time outside.

It is very easy to set up and get put together. If you want to get rid of flies, use RESCUE FLY TRAP!!.

This product is AMAZING!! And entertaining – watching the flies get attracted to it and then enter the bottle, getting trapped. Directions say it will take a few hours to attract flies – in one photo, that’s about an inch thick with flies, that was after about 5 or 6 hours.

In the next photo, that was the next day. We removed the plastic shrink wrap so we could see what was going on. Kinda gross but the idea is to attract flies and it certainly did that! I recommend this product wholeheartedly.

LOved using this product last year. We were amazed at how well it worked. The smell was terrible but well worth the outcome. We have tried using the refills and also buying new traps this year. The strong smell is no longer present and the trap barely catches a fly.

Were the ingredients changed? Not sure what is wrong, but it is definitely not working as it should. Can no longer recommend this product and we bragged about it to everyone last summer.

I was on frontline for years but when I thought I saw a couple fleas on my dogs in September 2020, I decided to make a switch to Advantage II for my cats and Advantix II for my dogs— BIGGEST mistake of my life (seriously, like over any horrible exes).

I have $515. 97 in receipts I submitted to the company (which was as horrible as the experience, which I will get to) and spent an additional $70 in store (in which I cannot find the receipt) since September 2020 to December.

I followed every tip on the website and insert and my animals were still covered. I applied perfectly. I applied initially weekly, vacuum daily, steam cleaned, wash bedding constantly, etc. I don’t even have carpet but on the stairs and have treated the stairs and couches with Predcor.

I even bought those flea traps with the sticky bottoms. I am not including any of this in that total I spent– that was all on the flea medications themselves for the 6 animals. I have saved some, not all, of the vials so on 11/13 I called Elanco.

They denied my request for any type of refund. They questioned my exact dosage dates and frequency more than a doctor wants to know about your menstrual cycles but I took my best guesses, for all 6 animals although I did know what schedule they were on but didn’t have it in front of me.

Then they said that the product was probably not working because I bathed my dogs initially at the beginning 48 hours before application?? Their website TELLS you to bathe them before application (see 2nd screenshot posted)! I stopped bathing them after the 2nd application as it wasn’t working and the dogs were miserable and only tried 2 cats (and really only 1 successfully because we all know how that goes).

They then told me that I didn’t give the product long enough?? Their website states (see 3rd screenshot) and is the same for Advantage II “K9 Advantix® II kills fleas within 12 hours. New fleas that jump on the dog from the surroundings, such as grass, carpet and pet bedding, are killed within 2 hours with protection against further infestation for at least 4 weeks.

” I tried their products, $600 worth on 6 animals, as scheduled, no missed doses for 4 months. I can’t blame it on just one animal or one batch—it didn’t work on 6, or one batch! I am very upset. Not only have I wasted money on these but I have bought corresponding products, sprays for the beddings, flea traps, etc.

I FINALLY called Terminex and had to spend 12 hours clearing out under my beds, closets, getting everything off my floors, moving furniture etc. (time I will never get back) and getting my children and pets out of the house and went back to the brand that works: FRONTLINE! NO MORE FLEAS– what I should have done in the first place.

I am so upset not by the fact that the product didn’t work but by the way the company handled it, dodging any responsibility from blaming it on the baths they recommend to the length of time I gave it when they could have just refunded me and had someone that isn’t going to not only post this review every place I bought it (not just here) but every other place that allows a review to include social media.

In the past, I have always bought Avantix II for my dog, Karl. Someone has to talk to the biochemist and tell them to use the old product. There’s definitely a change in the product. It cost me over $200.

00 Canadian, without avail, and me as a consumer, couldn’t believe that the product was watered down in order to meet for the bottom line in accounting. I have used this product time and time again and I had no problems with the product.

This time, I used 8 vials and nothing worked on my dog. It was a total waste of money and time. And the only one that’s suffering is my dog. Take it off of the market. Never will I trust any of these products and my faith is quickly going down the path of distrust.

I don’t enjoy giving you a bad decision mark, but my back is against the wall.

Long story short, we live more in the country and lots of old cow fields around. We have outdoor cats and 4 indoor/outdoor dogs. The fleas have been bad and we’ve been treating the house and the dogs.

1 of my dogs digs so much from the irritation that in the summer her fur falls out, and we tried many things on her. We have been very fed up to be honest, but couldn’t seem to find anything that worked.

We decided to try this since all 4 dogs fit the pound range, instead of having to buy 2 different sizes. It was delivered last night and I put it on them about 7pm. I checked them at 730am this morning, and could not find 1 flea on any of them.

I don’t think I’ve ever been so satisfied with a product. We’ll see how long it lasts, but the dogs are not scratching and much happier!.

This Flea and Tick Scrub is amazing!!! I tried plenty of useless products to no avail and I was getting to my wit’s end trying to find a solution. Especially since the fleas were causing one of my German Shepard’s to develop a skin allergy.

I had no idea what else I could do to get rid of the fleas. Flea shampoo’s did not work, the Flea drops did not work,I even tried natural remedies and they only helped for a day or two, but nothing was working for either one of my dogs.

Then I saw this product and thought I might as well try it, but I wasn’t expecting any miracles. Lo, and behold I noticed a dramatic difference in the flea population after the first wash. Thank God this product WORKED!! Now the fleas are gone and my pets skin is hydrated, my one German Shepard’s skin problem do to the allergies he developed healed, and it even makes both of my dogs fur feel much softer.

I am so happy with this amazingly wonderful product! I will definitely continue to use this product, especially because as an added bonus for me both of my dogs smell great for days in comparison to all other pet shampoo’s I have tried.

I was skeptical due to some of the reviews, but I’m glad I purchased it anyway. I have a chipom with jack Russell. She’s a 5 month old, and we’re live in the oregon coast. Fleas are a big problem here, and sometimes impossible to get rid of.

When my puppy started itching, I wanted to get a flea treatment from bravecto, but she is too young. And I really didn’t want to give her something that could cause a reaction as severe as death. I used this the first night, and she stopped itching until the next day.

So I have her another bath, and really worked it into her coat. She didn’t itch for 3 days after that. I used it again day before yesterday, and she’s started itching again today. I like how the soap will suds up with a little water.

I basically use the same amount of this soap as I use for my hair (it reaches my bum). I’ve used this 3 times and it barely looks used. This is such a great alternative for puppies.

I love how well it cleans and it’s so gentle to the eyes. All the other tearless shampoos I have used over the past 40 yrs of professional dog grooming, have all made the pets blink when I scrubed around the eyes.

With this shampoo, there is no blinking or squinting of the eyes. It’s the gentlest shampoo I have ever found and it is awesome at cleaning. All of the dogs that I have used this on have smelled so fresh and their coats come out lovely as well.

I am a dog grooming shop owner. I rehilbiate raccoons, chipmunks & possums. I also get a lot of feral cats around from feeding the wild animals. All my domesticated pets(3 dogs & 1 cat & a blind guinea pig) are handicapped, I take the pets no one wants.

I just had a feral kitten follow me into the house, so now I have 2 cats. I keep them on this ALL YEAR LONG. I would NEVER let my cats out but for the ignorant humans that do, they are just asking for fleas, gardia worms, toxoplasmosis, ect.

Since the chipmunks sometimes sneak in the house, I don’t want to worry & all my pets have been fine. The new Kitten just had it’s 1st vet check & I put this on as soon as I came home. Can’t recommend it enough.

When I first adopted my cat, they told me to continue purchasing revolution plus. The vet office her adoption agency told me to use was charging me almost 60 dollars for a 1-month dose and $120 for the 3 month dose.

They were entirely too expensive and it wasn’t feasible for me to drive up to the vet office and keep buying the one month doses each time she needed her meds. Her vet office wasn’t local by any means and was a 30-40 minute drive.

It also wasn’t going to work b/c I’m a college student full time and go to school 3 and a half hours away. When I tried contacting her VCA Lilburn vet clinic to get pet meds approved, they told me they couldn’t do it.

Chewy pharmacy was slightly expensive too, and I haven’t found anything cheaper or easier than 1-800 pet meds.
