needed this because a med im on plus perimenopause. it does lubricate and soak in and i feel healthier down there but it causes white chunks which the directions say is normal dead skin cells so i assumed its a good thing once cleaned up and plan to see if that goes away in time.

Very effective! Long lasting, no smell, no nasty after effects ! Pros= Hypo-allergenic, gentle formula. Original caused irritation for me, this one does not. Water soluble. Easy cleanup. Long lasting; can be refreshed with a few drops of water. Cons= None. Some reviews stating it does not last long or it causes burning.

This is not true for Astroglide Extra Gentle. This is a hypoallergenic formula. The original formula had caused itching, burning and dry skin for me; this formula does not. All water soluble lube can dry up in the absence of moisture.

Simply add a few drops of water to make it slippery again. If you notice some itching on your parts and think you have dry skin, it might be your lube or ingredients in your toys. A solid start is to pickup a hypo- allergenic lube like this one.

I was hoping it would be more “gel”-like so application would be more precise, but that might make it more tacky if it were, which I wouldn’t like, so I guess this is really what I want.

Horrible product that leads to an intense burning sensation immediately after application. I even tried the Ultra-Sensitive version of this product thinking that perhaps that may be better, but surprisingly, it was WORSE! I’ve noticed many others on here complaining of the same burns.

I had to wash vigorously to get the product off. This is an incredibly dangerous product masquerading as “safe. ” However, I find that other water-based lubricants that are made chemical free, ph-balanced, with safe osmolality levels are a much better alternative (Durex Play being a welcome option — they have toxin free variants now).

I really love this brand, they happen to make a flavored version of this jelly for one of my favorite sex toy companies unbound. However their classic lube is fantastic and unflavored unscented. I love that I can use this with all barrier methods like condoms and dental dams.

I also love that I can usually find this at my local grocery store. Definitely appreciate the accessibility when it comes to sexual wellness products. My only gripe is the name “good clean love” I’m not into the idea that sex is generally dirty.

Every one of the Good Clean Love products has a STRONG HORRIBLE SCENT that I could not tolerate. It smells nothing like cake batter as previously mentioned-more like a weird, cloying almost herbal or medicinal scent.

It smells like it would cause irritation or infection. I never found out because once I looked at the looong list of chemical ingredients the products contain I never used any of the sampler products I ordered.

The name of the product is very misleading. There is nothing clean or good about using all of those chemicals in such a sensitive area.

I am sensitive to many different lubes and this one has never caused me any problems. I have to apply less often. It has staying power though so I can still feel a little slippery in the morning. It doesn’t bother me but it is a potential downside for some.

I find Replens Long-Lasting Vaginal Moisturizer soothing for my vaginal atrophy. However, until they redesign their applicator, giving it a comfort tip, rounded like a tampon, for a smooth insertion, I will not be buying it again.

Also, I hope one day this formula will contain hylauronic acid, to better hold in moisture. I recommend the product, but give a big “thumbs down” to the applicator. Don’t want the prefilled tubes, because they only go so far into the body.

The product is wasted, because you cannot possibly squeeze out all that is inside the tube.

I got this product a while back and I used it infrequently. When I use it as directed, I do notice the difference. Yes. It can be messy, but what isn’t going to leak out when placed inside a hollow tube? What goes in must come out.

I use it at night before bed time. Perhaps using less than indicated may be helpful if you are leaking out too much of it. The product does what it advertises if used regularly. I wear a thin pad during the day so I don’t feel wet.

I find it gets better over time somehow. Don’t lose heart. If you are having terrible pain with intercourse or feel the irritating dryness, this will definitely help.

Been using this product for over a year now & been happy with it. However, the new prefilled Replens is horrible. Following the instructions on the box to a T to use the applicator, but the cream doesn’t even come out.

Please bring back the old version as the new prefilled is useless. Waste of money, effort & disappointing.

This stuff is amazing. There is no smell to the product, it’s not sticky, it doesn’t leave a weird flaky residue and the biggest thing is that there is no sweetness. Many personal lubricants use glycerine because it is a great humectant, but glycerine is naturally sweet and ends up making everything down there taste like cheap lip gloss for a couple days.

My husband is soo happy with this one it is completely undetectable. I also suspect the sweetness is why so many lubricants give people yeast infections. My only con is that it is such a pain to dispense the very small quantity you need for use.
