20 Best Fast Food Sweet Tea (2023 Updated)

I was optimistic and looking forward to a good new beverage. I do drink a lot. It is priced fair. I used before, Crystal Light, for quite a few years. I saw that the reviews for this were good. I did enjoy Aunt Berties, for maybe a month.

After the month, I was just trying to enjoy it. I finally surrendered to drinking mostly water only. It is a lot more refreshing and tastes better. I had a lot of quart bottles of Aunt Berties pre made.

I was trying to get through them, as not to be wasteful. Eventually, I found myself NOT liking even the smell of this. I dumped what I had.

We just opened a Rural King in our area about a year ago. We no longer buy tea from anywhere else. Its the only tea that everyone in my family will drink. My husband likes it more on the sweet side, me not soo much.

We have agreed on one cup per gallon and it satisfies everyone. Another reason we stick with this tea is because this is the only tea now that does not give my husband and I heartburn if we drink too many cups.

I also bought the lemonade mix but have yet to open it.

Best bottled sweetened tea! I love this tea. Both the Diet and regular Sweet Tea are really good. Has a nice tea flavor, without tasting artificial. The sweet doesn’t taste too sweet and the diet doesn’t taste like a typical “diet” or artificially sweetened drink, it actually tastes very much like the regular Sweet Tea.

And unlike so many places here int he south, that serve sugar water with tea, this has a nice sweet balance without feeling like I consumed more sugar than water/tea Absolutely my FAVORITE bottled Sweet Tea! Real Sugar, not High Fructose Corn Syrup! Absolutely my FAVORITE bottled sweet tea available.

Originally found this tea at Publix when I couldn’t find Milo’s locally. They didn’t have the single servings and only the liter bottles. I eventually started buying the 18+ ounce version at my local gas station every morning, but that quickly added up and wasn’t cheap This sweet tea has just the right amount of Tea Sugar.

I’ve tried others that simply tasted artificial or were too pungent, and this is absolutely PERFECT. My Favorite Sweet Tea!.

I can not begin to describe my obsession with tea. Normally, I like my tea hot and unsweetened, but this is my only exception due to the perfect amount of ‘sweetness’. Normally, any sweet tea that is not homemade is either far too sweet or oddly bitter, but hits the perfect spot.

Every time I need gas I go inside just to get one of these teas. Even if you are not big on drinking tea, I 10000% recommend trying any of the various Gold Peak beverages.

I would rate this product a 10! This is my absolute favorite Sweet tea. The flavor is smooth and does not leave a bitter aftertaste. I would improve this product by keeping it stocked the stores at all times.

It is a bit pricey anymore, but will purchase every time! I highly recommend this tea. compared to others this is by far the best!.

Great tea. Same great flavor as Family Size or Individual Size bags and A LOT more cost efficient. More convenient if making a gallon of tea and being a Southern girl, (from Texas!) I drink almost a gallon of tea each day!.

Plus takes up less cabinet space. I’ve never experienced an issue with bags tearing or having holes in them, compared to other paper bags. Lipton has more durable bags than other brands. In fact, these seem to be more sturdy than smaller bags since you are handling fewer bags.

The boldness of flavor depends on the length of time brewed and amount of water used. SO…. Other comments; I don’t understand people giving bad reviews because the strength- if you like it stronger, add less water or brew longer or better yet, both.

! Your personal preference on boldness should not warrant a bad review, Especially when there are different variables that can effect the final flavor. Lipton. Same great flavor, different size container.

I’ve been making iced tea the hard way my entire life until they came out with these some years ago. I’ve never bought any other teabags for iced tea since because it’s seriously a dream product for those of us that did the sun tea or boiled water and stored huge pitchers in the fridge.

These take out all of that work and make life so much easier if youre a daily iced tea drinker like me. I must say that if the water is cold cold then it will either take forever to steep or not at all.

They aren’t perfectly aligned with the name they were given lol. But cool to room temperature water will have you a pitcher of tea on a few minutes. It really is just a genius, make life easy type of product.

And it does taste the same as the Lipton bags you used before. It’s a winner.

I’ve used Lipton tea bags for many years. too many to count!. Lol I used a sauce pot, fill it with tap water, put in 4 family size tea bags,bring it to a boil, pour into pitcher add cold tap and add sugar to your liking.

ENJOY! WELL then Cold Brew Tea Bags were invented. Total game changer. Cold Brew you say. Yes, Cold Brew. Super Easy Peesy!! Just need a Pitcher of COLD water, add number of tea bags for your liking, Let set for I think 5 minutes.

I’m not sure I always leave it a little longer because I forget about it sometimes. Hehehe Add your sugar to your liking, stir really well. BAM your done! GETCHA A GLASS!! SO REFRESHING SO GOOD.

I drink a lot of water and a little flavor always helps. Unfortunately, every powder that I’ve added in the past had artificial sweeteners and things that made the water distasteful to me. Very glad to have found true lemon citrus products.

The grapefruit, lemon, lime and orange powders are all natural and taste great. A fantastic find that I share with all my friends. You should definitely give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Love the True Citrus Peach Tea. It is great on the go when you want some tea if a restaurant doesn’t offer tea. It’s much better than carbonated soft drinks and is natural to boot. And the great tasting natural peach flavor makes it much more enjoyable.

I always carry a few packets in my pocket when I travel. Great way to get some caffeine without artificial additives.

Like many of the others. does not taste like what you buy in bottles. Taste like lemonade. Gave it a 1 star mainly because Walmart packaging and shipping. Ordered 6 at one time. They did not package with proper insulation/bubble wrap.

Shipping (FedEx) threw it around as usual. in turn 2 of the 6 were busted open and green tea mix EVERYWHERE! Looked like I had a box of cocaine dilivered to my front door. And the other 4 were dented up real bad.

But not busted open.

Years ago I used to be able to buy this at grocery stores, but in recent years, I haven’t seen the product anywhere locally (I live in a major metropolitan area, so you’d think *someone* would have it—but no.

)In any case, this is the only flavor of sweet tea that really sits well with me. Peach and lemon just aren’t, um, my cup of tea. And I can’t do much sugar (my physiology hates it) so sugar-free is important.

Beware that this isn’t entirely carb-free—it’s about 1 gram of carbs for every regular sized serving, and of course, it’s dissolvable so there *is* some sugar here in one form or another. But it’s low enough that I can tolerate it well as long as I don’t drink too much of it at once.

And at this price? The price is what I love most here. Each jar will make gallons of tea. Many gallons if you make it a bit weak, which I also like. General win. If they managed to make a fully carb-free variety, I’d give them five stars.

I am very happy with the flavor of Lipton’s instant tea. no chance that it gets too strong or is too weak because you can measure how much powder and water for a perfect glass of tea every time. With working from home all the time, I wanted a tea with no calories or artificial sweeteners, so I did a blind taste test to find the best one.

This was the best hands-down! My grandparents always drank this brand and I thought it was because it was cheaper–nope! It tastes the best in my opinion! Turns out, you can learn a thing or two from the people who’ve lived the longest! I originally came out here to see how much caffeine is in every teaspoon (wish they would put this on their packaging–why is it a secret?).

While I was out here, I decided to write a review about how much I’m enjoying this product line staple.

I’ve been drinking Pure Leaf bottled iced teas for a while now with very little flavor selection in the stores, so I am happy to see some expansion into other flavors by this brand. #Mint is not an easy flavor of Pure Leaf to find locally, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a single serve bottled #tea of it in the refrigerated case in the #Target grocery section as opposed to the checkout lane mini fridges.

If I didn’t have a Target circle coupon for the larger sized Pure Leaf sweet tea, I wouldn’t have found it honestly. This is a delicious black tea flavored with real mint and sweetened with cane sugar not corn syrup.

And ya’ll, while the corn farmers are right when they say sugar is sugar nutritionally, it ain’t the same in taste! I grew up making my sweet tea with granulated cane sugar, so I KNOW IT DON’T TASTE SAME! And that’s why I like #pureleaf as a brand in general, they brew real tea and sweeten it with cane sugar.

The mint tea is a 4 star experience for me, because I believe they could’ve used more mint flavor and tea barely tasted different from their regular sweetened black tea which defeats the point of it being flavored.

Still delicious and I should say I like to brew my teas strong, so you may want to go try this mint tea yourself if like it subtle.

This lemonade and tea mix is fantastic. It’s something I order on a monthly basis. It’s not overly sweet because it leans more toward the tea side than the lemonade. The only issue I’ve discovered is that every now and then a bad-tasting case gets mixed in.

I’m not sure if it’s because it’s stored in the sun or what, but the scent and flavor are odd. I believe I ordered roughly 20 of these cases and have discovered the problem in three of them. It was the entire case twice, but just approximately half of the bottles time.

But I wouldn’t let it deter you from giving it a shot. Because I can’t find the cases in the shop, I’m hoping they keep this variation online.

I used to love pink lemonade as a kid — so sweet, fun, & classically summer! As I grew up, however, I all but stopped drinking it other than the very occassional summer barbecue because it was just too sugary.

I saw Swoon’s Pink Lemonade when grocery shopping at Target. At first I was skeptical that a pink lemonade without sugar could carry the same feelings of the pink lemonade I had as a kid, but what an amazing surprise! A delicious pink lemonade that I can now feel good about.

This drink smelt like coffee and fish. The taste was somehow worse. Have you ever had lemonade? Furthermore, it’s supposed to be pink. This stuff is brown. BROWN! I poured it down my sink after one sip and my kitchen still reeks.

I have been hunched over, dying, from stomach pain for half an hour now. I fear for when it has to come out.

I don’t really care for the taste of this. It’s a little hard to describe. I’d have to say it has an herbal flavor like green tea and you don’t notice it until you have a few sips. If you smell it you’ll also get an herbal scent.

It’s definitely not sweet, but not tart enough to taste sour. Somehow it also ends up leaving my mouth really dry too!.

extremely sweet in my opinion, I recommend drinking it with a little bit of water and lots of ice to reduce the sweetness. Definitely not for me. I personally give it a 5 out of 10 but my friends love the taste of it.

For me is extremely sweet, I had to drink with a bunch of ice for trying to reduce the sweetness, but doesn’t work. Definitely not for me. Have good taste, I mean the tea has a good taste but with too much sugar.

I love this tea because I am sentative to artificial sweeteners. This has just the right amount of sugar in it. It tastes almost like homemade sun tea. The price is great I buy it regularly. No improvements is needed it great as it is.

The packing is good. You you can’t have artificial sweetener this is the one to buy.

I was born/live in the South. We drink iced tea in the south. Yes, I like my tea strong and I am a tea snob. Back in the 70’s when I was about 6 years old we went to NY and my family I went to eat at an Italian restaurant, go figure, my Dad ordered us all ICED TEA for our meal.

Minutes later the poor waiter shows up with 5 little cups of steaming hot tea. I looked at the ground and shook my head, “Here we go. ” A couple minutes later he shows up with 5 huge glasses full of ice and dumps the hot tea into the glasses; tadah!.

I wouldn’t say making tea is an art, but it is not done like that. The purpose of me telling all of this is to educate people not from here about how WE drink our tea. Luzianne, Lipton, and Twinings K-Cups are made from the same tea leaves as you get if you made it yourself.

If it’s too strong add ice and pure cane sugar. If it’s too weak, start over. I went back to NY a few years ago and you can now get real iced tea there, if like tea flavored water. You may not like what I have to say, but it is the truth.

I purchased LUZIANNE sweet iced tea for my grandson and he says its the best. H e is an ice tea drinker and wants me to purchase alot more and to have some to send other family members who are ice tea drinkers.

I had been buying store brands and other brand names but my grandson wants only Luzianne from now on. The guy is 33 years old and has done his share of teas and now only wants Luzianne. I have other members in the immediate family I want to give to.

so will be ordering again very soon what with the holidays just about on us. Keurig is my choice of supplier and I am happy about this new product.

I love a FRESH glass of ice tea. but the problem is, when you make “sun tea” or the usual large pitcher, it’s great for the first glass, then it sits in the refrigerator, gets cloudy and bitter and you throw the rest away, clean out the pitcher and do it all again, wasting a whole lot of tea.

Omg. This is my FAVORITE sweet iced tea. The EXTRA sweet tea. To me, it’s way better than the original sweet, and tastes more true to real Southern sweet iced tea, I like that these bottles are rounded at the bottom (the Lipton Pure Leaf ones are square, so they don’t fit in cup holders as well ).

My only complaint is that I can NEVER find the EXTRA sweet Teas in any of my local stores. If any of them carry it, they always seem to be sold out. The only way I can find the extra sweet version is if I luck out and find a bottle of it in a gas station or convenience store.

But that’s how you know all us Southerners feel like it’s the closest, best tasting tea to true Southern sweet tea there is. It always stays sold out lol. Now, will I potentially get diabetes in the future? Yes.

Yes, I may. But I don’t get to drink these daily. Just when I’m lucky enough to find them and satisfy a craving I occasionally get for sweet tea.

I love this tea! The price is reasonable compared to other bottled teas. These are larger bottles than those available in 6-packs at the grocery stores – something to take into consideration when comparing prices.

The picture on this is a bit different, but I scanned the barcode of the tea and it brought me to this. Gold Peak Zero Sugar Sweet Tea is both refreshing and sweet while not having the added sugars that are unnecessary for a drink.

I brought it to a baseball game tonight and it was a perfect substitute for real sweet tea. I highly recommend it. As you can see in one if the pictures, there aren’t a ton of ingredients. I do wish there was a better sugar substitute than aspartame though.

Splenda may have been a better idea.

Only good Tea in individual packs that I know is available. I’ve searched far and wide. for a No Lemon tea this convienient. Love the flavor enough to tell friends. I buy 6-10 boxes at a time and keep several packs in my purse and work bag.

i used to drink mcdonald’s sweet tea everyday, but i am so glad i’ve discovered this instead!! i’m absolutely hooked. it’s a mild sweetness, but it’s definitely the most refreshing!

This tea mix is very good, it makes sweet tea, but not too sweet, just right. I use refrigerated water, so I don’t have to use ice, but works well either way.

Nice balance of peach and tea. Refreshing flavor. Tea flavor is not strong, which is good for me. I wanted to taste the peach. Not too sweet, but sweet enough for sweet tea. Much preferred over their strawberry (that one had that slight taste of wet rag that often comes with natural strawberry flavored things).

As a native Texas girl, I’m an avid sweet tea drinker 😆. I LOVE this brand, but the strawberry flavor is the best 🍓. It has a true tea taste to it, not just a bunch of sugar in a bottle like some other brands.

I really like this tea. I like to get it when I stop at Buc-ee’s, or maybe get the Arnold Palmer one. That one is good too. The peach isn’t too strong though, so if you like your peach strong, this isn’t your tea.

Flavorful and worthy enough that I used to take an extra travel bag to Texas to stock up on boxes of tea and take back to California. The tea bags are steeped in water that has been boiled for 5 to 10 minutes.

After steeping, the tea is poured into a tea pitcher and mixed with water or ice. Depending on taste desired, the bags can be steeped longer. This tea is best when used the day it is made and should be stored in the refrigerator to avoid an awkward taste that comes when left out on the counter.

As a side note, some make iced tea by placing water and tea bags outside in the hot sun all day. My opinion is that tea made this way tastes like old tea or tea left on the counter all day, not good.

Stick to the southern traditions and it will be great iced tea everytime.

Being from the south, iced tea is considered to be the house wine😂 I grew up drinking Luizanne tea. Most people always buy Luizanne tea bag’s, which you boil first, let it steep for a few minutes, then pour it in a pitcher.

I usually already have my sugar a bit of water in my tea pitcher, so when you pour in the tea. It will melt your sugar. Put in enough sugar to your taste. Stir well place in your refrigerator. Most southerners always have a pitcher of iced tea in their refrigerator, because you never know when company will drop buy.

I prefer the taste of Luizanne tea, however, there are numerous others to choose from.

I always have good sweet tea and it’s because I use Luzianne tea bags like my mom always did! There’s only 2 brands of sweet tea allowed in our house and this one is top of the list! 4 bags, boil, let sit till just warm enough to still melt the sugar, mix into a pitcher with 1 and a half cups sugar, let cool and/or add ice! This is the superior raspberry tea in the game right now. Large bottles so you get a larger volume for the same price as most of the competitors. Flavor is unmatched. It can also be found everywhere.

I was in the boonies of Missouri, and ate at a Mennonite Place that was awesome called the “Lead Mine Country Store” and Diner. I tried one of these Joe’s Peach Tea, and now I’m hooked, but seriously? We have to buy them by the case from the Supplier? Kind of inconvenient isn’t it? I bet if you sold them individually, you’d sell a lot of them! P.

S. If you eat there, the Reuben Sandwich and Hot German Potato Salad is a MUST! Please sell these individually at the Union, Missouri Walmart!!.

Maybe I got a bad batch but the tea wasn’t even a hint of sweet and I’m the type that doesn’t like really sweet tea. The peach flavor wasn’t there and as a previous review mentioned it almost tasted chemical instead of tea flavored.

Maybe it was just really strong and not smooth tasting tea. Did not like it! I love the watermelon brew tea in which I can no longer find but I also add my own “real sugar” to it as to flavor it lightly and this is so awful even compared to the brew teas Lipton has! Very disappointed.

This drink mix isn’t too sweet nor sour or high in caffeine but gives you a small kick or boost when your on the run as I have found out during the onslaught of the COVID 19 pandemic. I found the extra large size at smart and final which was a life saver with the other dried sports drinks, dried fruits water in all sorts and types with canned food.

I wasn’t at that time too worried about the toilet paper because I had small children in the house so we hit the wet wipes instead. if in a pinch as we all are this is a great product for on the go as it doesn’t take too long to make and with a little natural lemon added to it non can really tell the difference.

SO THRILLED to have found Milo’s No Calorie Famous Sweet Tea! It’s made with Sucralose (Splenda) so I can drink this during the day (up until my personal cut-off point for caffeine in the afternoons) and it’s perfectly sweet without being overly/sickeningly sweet.

Just wish I’d found this years ago. It’s tasty and I will be buying it as often as I run out of it. They could also change the name to Milo’s Famous Unsweet Tea With Sucralose, which is probably why I didn’t know it existed before – the name threw me since I can’t drink anything with sugar during the day, so I’ve always bypassed any titles of “sweet tea”.

I don’t usually drink a zero calorie tea, however this is the best I have ever had. It does not have a strong aftertaste nor is it bitter. It is a perfect alternative to regular sweet tea. As a southern girl who grew up with sweet tea I was surprised that I liked the zero calorie version as much as I did! I will definitely be purchasing again in the future.

Amazing. I lived in North Carolina for five years, amongst straight up, 100% pure southerners. They would make their tea homemade. As would local restaurants/diners. This tea taste like it was made by a true southerner.

I am a sweet tea lover. I’ve been in love with Sothern Style Sweet Tea for years. There is always homemade tea in my fridge. I kept seeing commercials and billboards even for this so I had to try it.

I regret it. It’s not sweet. It tastes “dirty” TO ME. If you like it, cool!! For me, it’s 100% a no buy again.

There is a strong aftertaste that is not pleasant. The tea tastes as if soured instead of sweet. Will not purchase again. Do not recommend. Those of you who like it do not know what a true good southern sweet tea is all about.

I love tea. It’s my go to drink of choice. I prefer my tea straight; not flavored or with additives. For this reason, I’m not a fan of lemon in tea. This product changed my mind. Still not my first pick, but the taste is decent.

I love this sweet tea. I makes,me think of summer day sipping tea on the porch. Lots of great memories with this refreshing sweet tea. Its sweat but not to sweet. I highly recommend try it.
