This is a great game. It has lots of theme, plays quickly, is complicated enough to not be boring. It was easy to learn from the included short instruction sheet which was well written. The full manual can be downloaded from their website.
The boosters bring in additional play mechanisms. The art is great. The game system combines deck building, with special dice that make it easier to determine the special ability that can be used. Some dice let you modify other dice etc.
The dice are played from cards, the dice can then project the power of the cards. Paper tokens are used to keep track of damage, shields and resources. Overall a fun very Star Warsy card/dice game that does not occupy a lot of table space.
This is a must have game. I have watched countless videos on YouTube about Star Wars Destiny and heard many wonderful things about the game from friends who have played it and they told me it was worth getting.
Well I purchased it and just recently played the game and let me tell you, this was well worth the purchase and I look forward to playing time after time of this game. It helps that I have a love Star Wars and then add all the gaming elements and it’s a superb game.
The rules were not too complicated for me, the gameplay I found crisp and exciting. I would highly recommend this game so go out and purchase it today.
I hesitated to buy this game since it is a collectible game but I have thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. I wish they had sold this game as an LCG instead of a CCG. You do need two copies of the 2-player starter set to play a complete game but it is still possible to just play with one.
There is no need to buy all the cards that have been published. You can try and proxy most of the cards you need since this game has been discontinued.

Positives: Graphics are an upgraded version of the last game, I’m not complaining it’s beautiful. The music in this game plays so well alongside what you’re doing in game it’s excellently done. The story is great, fun to play but you will check out on the second play through and skip the scenes.
The social side is a little easier, communities easy to find on PS4 so you can grab a raid team and play. Hopefully they’ll develop the guided raids and just give us a strike style fireteam system. Negatives: –Bugs! Honestly if you have a technicolor or Thompson router don’t get this yet, it doesn’t work properly for you, game is playable but you will be booted mid mission A LOT work around available but tiresome, it will be fixed soon enough though and after that it’s a 4* game.
— After Game, basically there’s about 10 hours of after game play missions wise, still able to PVP and PVE but eventually you’ll be seeing nothing, bungie have said they’re aware of this so hopefully they will expand the game for us all.
If both of those are fixes this is genuinely a 5* game I love it when I can play!.
Personally, I do not like Destiny 2. I loved Destiny Taken King. The senseless grind to get powerful gear is so annoying that I stopped playing this stupid game. In few hours I was able to finish the game and then you are left with repetitive grind which after playing for hours often give you gear that you don’t need because of the idiotic random drop.
If you want to play crucible then you pretty much want to be either Hunter or Titan. Warlocks get owned in crucible. Unfortunately, I like warlock so I played mostly Gambit after finishing the campaign which is the only part that I liked about Destiny2.
I hope that people from Bungie buy ESO and learn from it. ESO give you content and the interface is very intuitive. You can connect with other players so easily.
Its got bugs and the PVP kind of sucks. Leveling is difficult and the free world is limited. That being said I love the game and play it for hours on end. I think the game will get better with age as the developers listen to the community.
The game gives you weekly challenged and there is always something new to discover. Like I said if you love the original the sequel is more of the same but better done. You wind up running out of space to explore but with two expansion packs coming the game has a lot of play ability.
As far as being a good first person PVP shooter its OK, there will be better games coming. As far as being a good game its pretty good and if you loved the original Density you will love this game.

I’ve been playing Destiny since the beta. I used to get the expansion right away as I was an avid fan, but now I wait until their on sale, as I found that it was just getting much for not allot of what I was actually paying for at full price.
It’s a first person shooter, which is not a game type I generally go too. So you can still enjoy it even if it your normal game type. The story is good, but I find it choppy and sometimes hard to get the full story as some of its only told through written text that you need to find these hidden fragments.
So sometimes they can be missed until you just randomly find it. The one thing I would like to be changed is some of the events that you need to complete needs 6 gamers, so it’s hard to get that at the same time if you don’t have any gaming friends.
Though some of the smaller events have random match making so you can complete the task, I just wish they had that for the larger raids. #xbox #gaymer #videogames #mmos #destiny.
This game is an absolute masterpiece. I downloaded the demo and played it and even the demo is a massive selling point. I instantly wanted to buy the game and all the DLC, which I did and I tell you now, it does not disappoint.
The base game of destiny tells the story of the Traveller and your Guardian, trying to defend this orb in the sky from many unwanted forces; in short term. The Dark Below tells a story of a new guardian at the tower, Eris, who reveals a compelling information about a group of enemies, called the Hive who are redirecting an ancient demigod called Crota.
House of Wolves is an interesting story, maybe not my favourite, but very good by itself. Its about a rascal called Skolas who has escaped the Prison of the Elders. You are desired to stop him before he grows an army stronger than ever.
The Taken King makes this game for me. It continues on the story from the Dark Below. It also brings new armour, content, emotes, weapons and more. Oryx, Crotas father is looking for revenge against the Guardians for everything that happened in the Dark Below.
The fight against Oryx at the end is just absolutely sensational. One of my favourite game moments. The new Rise of Iron brings a few beloved guns from the base game, and vamps them up a little. It also includes content which mostly describes the story of the Iron Lords battle against the Fallen.
If you do all this, you gain the authority of being an Iron Lord. Overall, you wont be at fault for buying this game with its DLC. All those false reviews youve been reading on the internet, its just from a point of view where someone has too high expectations for a game which are unrealistic.
Worth all the money spent.
I am what most call a year one guardian. I hopped on the hype train and haven’t gotten off since. I was impressed with the starting story and over the years and multiple expansions I find Bungie keeps raising the bar for the most part.
The in game events give me some awesome things to look forward to, be it the weekly Trials, monthly return of Iron Banner, SRL in the winter, Festival of the Lost during Halloween or the “hopeful” return of Crimson doubles for Valentines day.
The last two expansions, for me, were amazing. Characters in the game that seemed to take more of a backseat where given time to shine. Cayde 6, Eris and thanks to a certain story mission in the Rise of Iron expansion.
my beloved Ghost, have quickly become some of my favorites in the game. I am one of those who blows through leveling my character and completing the story in two days, so I do feel the lag in content is sometimes too long.
But even so, I still am on everyday doing bounties and playing crucible or strikes. There is always a new perfect roll on a game weapon that I am going for. When Im not doing that, I am watching others play on Twitch.
lol The character customization is great. So many different armor and shader combos that allow you to really make your guardian “yours”. I could really go on forever about this game, the funny, very quotable lines, shaders, story, the BEAUTIFUL planets, raids, strikes, crucible, and the truly amazing community that has come together around a great game.
The price is a bit high but the experience you will have playing the game is more than worth it. Hours upon hours. or in my case and many others, years upon years, of game play. I cannot wait to see what comes next!.

As you may or may not know Destiny was released a year ago with much hype and praise, the game was made by Bungie and released by Activision companies that brought us Halo and many versions of Call of Duty.
The game itself is an online first person shooter and sees you and other players take on aliens gain loot take on more aliens get better loot and so on and so forth. At the original release the game was criticised for its rather lacking campaign/story and hugely repetitive mission structure, I had been expecting a space opera similar to the Halo campaigns and the multiplayer appeal of Borderlands but maybe I expected too much.
That said the gameplay and the soundtrack was excellent, the graphics also fine but like the game Rage it did not offer much interactivity. The Taken King Legendary Edition contains the original game the two expansions (The Dark Below & House of Wolves) as well as the next chapter of the Destiny saga The Taken King.
This version aims to improve the overall experience by reducing the amount of grinding that you had to (something that caused me to stop playing the game), change the levelling system back to the traditional method of gaining experience through missions/quests as opposed to mixing and matching your wardrobe to gain levels and provide more variety of opportunities to gain that experience by introducing more bounties, NPC quests etc.
Now unfortunately I have not completed the game mostly because I have not reached the max level cap which introduces further challenges and quests and I’m far too anti-social to form a fireteam and attempt the raids (multiplayer events that involve up to six players taking on some of the more challenging enemies and levels).
The gameplay mechanics themselves remain the same and is still very enjoyable and with the matchmaking system which can help you form smaller fireteams to attempt strike playlists (more challenging versions of the ‘story missions’) adding more ways to enjoy the game, the one wrinkle is the player vs.
player component of the Destiny experience the ‘Crucible’. The crucible tries to even things between new and existing players by negating levels however this does not affect the skills or item abilities you or the other players have gained, so newer players will struggle against those that have played regularly.
Now is the game worth buying? Well if you enjoy the online experience of games like Call of Duty and Borderlands than yes especially if you have not played the original than yes; you are getting a lot of content, great gameplay and fun multiplayer component (if you can build the right skills and equipment).
If your looking for a solo experience, great story and memorable characters than not really I would recommend Borderlands 2 it has similar gameplay and memorable characters as well decent humour (this along with the first Borderlands are now available for current generation consoles) or Dishonoured for its more engaging campaign and more varied gameplay.
Thank you for reading and I hope you found this useful!.
Destiny is a very entertaining game – it has the qualities of the Halo series (no surprise given the developer is Bungie) and has a wealth of cooperative and competitive missions to enjoy. You can form fireteams with friends or strangers and carry out challenging missions together.
It does quite a good job of balancing the difficulty when you have multiple players, and the “co-op revive” in this game is sensible, so even if your fireteam can’t or doesn’t revive you when you die in battle, you still come back, but you just need to wait longer.
That brings me on to another important topic though. While the graphics are beautiful, the load times (on PS3 at least) are enormous. You need to wait so long for maps to load that there is an in-game cut scene of space ships flying around that can’t be skipped for maybe 15-20 seconds each time you go to a new map.
Opening the game itself takes quite a while too. And that’s all after the installation process – even without the expansions the installation requires download and installation of more than one 5-10 GB patch before you can start playing.
So this is a game only for patient people (on PS3 at least). Speaking of expansions, so much of the game content is in the expansions that you will find it irritating quite quickly if you don’t buy a version that is new / sealed with codes.
Second hand copies, whatever they might say on the box (Vangard, Legendary, Taken King, Complete), are really just the base “Destiny” game without any expansions because once the codes are used, they’re used.
Also the PS3 version may have slow loading times and less good graphics (they’re good for a PS3 game), but it’s also the only version with free online play, and this game pretty much requires online play.
If you buy on PS4, Xbox 360 or Xbox One you need PS+ or Xbox Live Gold in order to play with others. So with the couple of caveats mentioned, this is a great game!.
To me, this game is a mixture of Halo, Diablo and Armored Core. No, you don’t use mechs, and yes, it takes place in the future, and you get to travel to planets and ride around on something akin to a speeder from Star Wars.
All of this is awesome. What sold me on this, a first person shooter with loot and cool skills, are the jet packs. Titans and Warlocks can boost in the air – this is what reminded me of Armored Core, although this game doesn’t have aim assist like Armored Core did, and for good reason.
It would be too easy. As far as the story goes, like Armored Core, a lot of it is told through a few cinematics and radio from your superiors. You get to meet them at the Tower, but they don’t have that much to say.
If you want to invest in the story of the world, however – it is there. You can read cards you collect through gameplay. And the most killer thing about this game is that it has an iOS or Android mobile app you can use to post to forums or read the cards you collect, change your gear around.
I feel like this is what has been missing from every loot based game or MMO I have every played. I require an app now, for any involved console game I play, and we’ll see if that happens. For right now, Destiny really delivers – cool looking worlds, mobile app companion, really fun repeatable gameplay and tons of options for game types.
And, oh yeah, jet packs!.

Being an RPG fan, I was excited to try this one out after doing extensive research on it. So here are my thoughts on it: PROS: – No monthly fee! – Excellent graphics – Less focused on level-grinding (more story-driven) – Ability to choose from various views, from overhead to first person, depending on whether you’re a Diablo or Everquest gamer – Many customizations available for you to personalize your character (a must for any really good RPG) – Zones outside of the towns are not shared with other players, meaning that you don’t end up fighting over spawns – You can choose to group with NPC mercenaries so you don’t spend endless hours looking for a group just so you can start playing CONS: – May be difficult to grasp the basics without someone in-game helping you (I didn’t find the manual informative and online help seemed to speak in Guild Wars jargon which you wouldn’t know to begin with.
) – Not as much opportunity to interact with other players with individually-generated zones and less need for groups – With a level cap at 20, you’re looking at more of a PvP experience, rather than Player vs Environment.
MY FINAL THOUGHTS: I was a bit disappointed as unfortunately, the two things that I love in MMORPGs were greatly reduced (PvE and player interaction). Having said that, I can see how this would be an excellent game for those who aren’t looking for those 2 elements.
With its beautiful graphics and no monthly fee, Guild Wars is still an excellent game.
I had 11 bucks left on my Newegg account from when I bought my ATI HD 4850 a few months ago. I started looking around the other day for something to buy after remembering that I had a few bucks on the account and came across this, and you can’t get it any cheaper anywhere else.
9. 99 w/ free shipping is a steal it’s 30 bucks anywhere else. Also if you’re looking for another awesome game and only have a few bucks, get Enemy Territory: Quake Wars I saw it around on newegg for 5.
99! Quake Wars has amazing graphics and gameplay, i’m a bit curious as to why it’s so cheap! Thought i’d point that out incase anyone was looking for a good deal.

Reviews From Real Customers
Armageddon picks up 50 years after the events of the previous game. Players step into the role of Darius Mason, grandson of Guerillas protagonist and a formidable warrior in his own right. The action actually starts 40 years after the previous game, with a prologue set during a terrorist assault on the Mars terraformer.
The bad guys win that day and the giant machine is taken out, reversing all of the work done to give Mars a more habitable atmosphere and sending the local population down to live in the caves below the surface.
Jump ahead 10 years to the present day of 2170; Darius, who still harbors some guilt for the unintended role he played in the terraformers destruction, will very soon be responsible once again for a sizable disaster as a race of Martians emerge from the planets depths to terrorize one and all.
The unfolding story gets increasingly ridiculous as it develops, up to and including a nonsensical conclusion, but where the story falls short the gameplay is there to save the day. Armageddon definitely benefits in the change, and in the comparison.
Squashing aliens is pretty much the sole focus of Darius adventure. Theres a lot of busywork as he fights to keep the people of Mars safe from an alien threat of his own (inadvertent) creation, but most of the time, the only thing standing between you and the next checkpoint is a small army of slavering creatures.
There are only a handful of alien types that youll encounter, but theres enough variation within those types not to mention some fun environments to stage your battles in to keep each encounter feeling fresh.
The ever-useful sledgehammer returns in Armageddon as a starting weapon, but youll quickly discover that the games armory offers a great many more options for picking apart your environmentor creatively offing the odd beastie.
The Magnet Gun is a standout; earned early, its useful throughout the game and it basically works by linking two points: a target and an anchor point. Once the two are set, the former is pulled toward the latter, with the rate of movement increasing as the distance is closed.
Or, to put it in more practical terms, the distant sniper alien is your target and the roof directly above it several hundred feet directly above it is your anchor point. If the alien doesnt burst into bits when it makes contact with the ceiling, it definitely will on its return trip to the surface.
Red Faction: Armageddon is good, goofy fun. The story is B-grade fodder, frequently laughable and occasionally downright confusing. The shift to a more Gears of War-style approach to the action though is a big improvement for the series, especially with the inventive array of destructive tools you have to work with.
There are occasional frustrations with widely spaced checkpoints and stone-stupid enemy A. I. , but none of the slip-ups are enough to keep Armageddon from being fun, beginning to end. Thats the real win here; instead of a filler-packed 20-25 hours you get a tightly paced 15, with the option of playing again with an entirely new approach should you want for more after the credits roll.
A sleeper hit that is fun to play even in 2015. This game came out in 2009 and was unique in that the environments is almost 100% destructible. (Save for the rocky terrain) See a 3 story warehouse over there? Why not take it down with your trusty sledgehammer? This open world game allows you to tackle main story missions, side quests, and plenty of challenge quests.
(Destruction, beat the clock, etc. ) It actually has a pretty fun multiplayer mode – where you can use all the games weapons against each other, as well as bringing down the house. We played it in LAN party – not sure how many players out in actual game servers.
Given the low price – it is definitely worth a try! Sick Fun!.
The reviews that came out for this game made it seem very disappointing and not worth your time and money. It’s not the greatest game in the world but, it is a good game with some great weapons and a good 6-8 hours of playtime.
Once you’ve beaten the game you get access to New Game + which let’s you keep all the upgrades and weapons you’ve unlocked. You also get access to “Cheats” (Unlimited ammo, weapon unlocks, etc). You “buy” these things by picking up Salvage, much like in Guerrilla.
This is the games’ currency. I think why a lot of the reviewers were hard on this game is that unlike the previous entry Red Faction: Guerrilla which is an open world game, Armageddon is a linear, story driven experience.
I happen to enjoy both approaches so that change was not a problem for me. The story is serviceable, nothing ground breaking. The shooting action is fine and enjoyable. What really made it great was the weapons.
My personal favorites early on are the Assault Rifle, Maul (Big a$$ hammer) and the Magnet Gun. The MG works by letting fire an Anchor point. Then you fire an Attractor which pulls anything that the Anchor is attached too towards it.
Great fun. Later on as the number and size of the enemies increases I switched to the Singularity Gun, Plasma Cannon and Rocket Launcher. Great fun, lots of destructible buildings and inventive ways to kill enemies, well worth your time.

Expansive world and involving gameplay. Bungie have again shown their mastery in the art. My only gripe with game such as this are that there are areas you can’t complete unless you buy an extension.
Some of the tasks you are given in the campaign are encouraging you to play against others on-line in what they call the ‘crucible’. For this you obviously need to subscribe to xbox live. This shouldn’t be part of a campaign and people should not feel pressured into spending more when they have already purchased an xbox and game.
If you can look past the outdated graphics and slightly ignore the unbalanced gameplay it’s truly a great fighter. I prefer this over some modern fighters and trust me im good at fighters online and off so i know a good game of this genre when i see it.
Its a shame i didn’t discover this game in my childhood i would have gone bonkers over this one. Must buy you will have a great time especially with friends.
Be warned when it says includes all destiny games. They must be downloaded and it takes about 12 hours on ps3 from when you first put the disk in to when you actually get to play the game and it’s not a background download.
Worth the trouble, but nobody seems to tell you this. Enjoy.

I am only a few hours into this, and I can say I am liking this MUCH better than the 1st. Difficulty is more balanced in the beginning of the game. Leveling up skills makes a big difference getting Aiden through the world & fighting, & making the parkour much smoother/tighter.
The story is more simplistic & focused, which I also like. I’m sure it’ll get even better once I level Aiden up more, & get the grappling hook & paraglider. But. I HATE the auto-save feature in this game.
It might make me rage quit and never go back. If I put this game aside and not finish it, it’ll be because of the horrible auto-saving in this game. For one, the auto-save icon is so small I can’t even tell when it’s saving, so I never know how much time I’ll have to re-play the game when I have to go somewhere & turn it off.
I lost over half an hour of progress due to this, and if that happens too many times, I’ll be putting this game aside and playing one of the many other great games coming out this month. With the current technology in today’s day & age, manually saving (even saving while shutting down) should be a mandatory thing in most large open world games.
At least let me make the Save Icon larger, so I can SEE it. Oh, and that leads to my other complaint. This almost seems like a port from a PC game, because the text is “too small to read,” even though I have it set to large.
The subtitles are okay, but when it explains attacks and such, some of the hints & tips are just TOO SMALL, and I cannot see how to do things, like how to execute certain lunge attacks and whatnot. So, I love most of this game (so far), but 2 of my complaints have to do with the save icon and text being way TOO SMALL, & it doesn’t auto-save enough (& I can’t see when it does).
Maybe when I can fast travel it won’t be a problem anymore, because then I can just fast travel to a safe house and sleep, in which sleeping forces the game to save. Hopefully that’s soon, because I want to like this game.
I’m prefacing this review with the fact I’ve only played through the tutorial. But, after talking several hours to get through the tutorial, and the fact the busted coop has prevented me playing more, I thought it would be important to review.
Game is probably actually great if it works, but it’s currently busted and the last patch that “fixed” the issue did not in fact “fix” the coop. My issue in particular – I either freeze up upon loading OR I get booted via disconnect from my friends game.
Repeatedly. I’m playing in Halo Series X Xbox, and every other game has no issue with online play so it’s definitely this game. I have a full squad of friends I want to play with, and I can’t. It’s a super bummer and who knows when it will be fixed.
Second, I feel like I can actually write a gameplay/story review because the tutorial is HOURS long for absolutely no reason. I’m thinking the devs believe the story is stronger than it is, but it is – not good.
The whole flashback stuff includes perhaps the most annoying character since Claptrap. I have sat through many bad stories in games, but this is just so bad and the characters stink. Gameplay is fun and if you like single player, you’ll have fun.
I’m not grading the game on gameplay, but in technical issues disallowing me to play with friends, along with a far too long tutorial and crappy characters.
I really wanted a 4. 5 review. Part 1 was just so good and it’s not easy to match it. 7 years they had to really give us a bang for our buck. While I love many aspects of the game, I find myself wishing certain things were like part 1 and it starts to feel lacking, or a chore when it should feel fun! The parkour is super fun, however because traversing is more important then health you tend to level up stamina.
Which if gud enough you will be ok. The more you play the easier the game gets. However it’s missing something that makes me want to keep playing. I find myself taking long breaks and if I am really into the game I don’t do this! It’s worth the money and is super fun but the things I loved are not in this game.
You were scared and careful at night, now long as you play on the rooftops you will be ok. Nothing scares you or gets your. It puckered up anymore. The night zombies though are overpowered and even when leveled up they can kill you quick! It’s supposed to feel rewarding leveling up and getting stronger.
It feels like leveling up just gives you permission to finally enter areas you couldn’t without getting killed by enemies way tougher then you. So I ended up skipping an entire area which ai never do.
People now think grinding and roaming are the game, I still say for me, not really. I always say ai just wanna play the game! Then people say grinding and looting is the game. Anyways if you loved dying light buy this game!.

What can i say. Your looking at 2 of the best FPS games ever made. Red Faction has great graphics. Great controls and a lengthy single player game. Your looking at about 20+ hours to complete. Has an OK multi player but, the meat of the game is the single player campaign.
As for Red Faction 2 it also has great graphics. Great controls. The single player campaign is kinda short about 7 to 8 hours. Don’t worry it has an awesome multiplayer experience. You’ll be playing that for ever after you finish the single player campaign.
Do yourself a favor and buy both. Their very affordable these days.
My friends and I along with my siblings spent countless summer hours playing this first-person shooter. There are many multiplayer modes that keeps the fun going. I would consider it Playstation’s Halo.
One plus that it has over Halo is that the action is extremely fast; You can expect the occasional one-second lifespan after respawning in some stages. The only downsides is that you cannot play split-screen and online.
Check it out!.
Geo Mod is awesome, plan and simple. The ability to significantly change the gameplay by breaking through walls instead of using the door is a lot of fun. So then tell me this, why didn’t this game use it more? There were far too many indestructible barriers.
Why walk through one room to get to another when you can just blast through the wall (and possibly kill the bad guy on the other side) with a well placed sticky mine? I found myself running and gunning through most of this game, and even though that was a lot of fun, I would have liked to be able to go apesh*t with the explosives and really level the playing field, literally.

It is said this game cost more than half a billion dollars to make. That is an incredibly massive investment for such a really short game. Honestly, I still can’t believe how short it is. It can’t be this short, can it? The maps for each of only 4 planets (yes, only 4) are medium to big but are barely used.
There are only a handful of core story missions for each planet and even these missions feel repetitive because they make you retrace over the same places you’ve already been. The core story makes it sound like you are embarking on a super big, long journey.
Unfortunately this is not the case. You power through the few core story missions and after a few short hours find you have actually beat the game. They have extra side objectives (grinding stuff) to help you build up your characters level, skills, etc.
and this serves as a temporary distraction to the fact that you’ve already beat the stupid game! It hits you like a bag of bricks once you realize there’s no more. That’s it. Now all you can do is grind in the same areas which already felt repetitive way before because you’ve already retraced your steps there.
It’s pretty much like a small sandbox, and you keep grinding within this small sandbox, repetitively doing very similar things. The fun ends way before you realizedit. It really leaves you in shock and awe as to how a game this expensive can be so unbelievably short.
Hmm, what to say about Destiny concisely? Hard to go wrong for under $40 dollars though a ton of value at this price. I’ll just give you my opinion of the pros and cons: Pros: Beautiful environment, this will show off your next gen console Great play mechanics, all the good shooter attributes from Halo Plenty of content at this price Cons: Thin story even after the 3 expansions.
Nobody wants to create an account and logon to bungie to read the cheesy grimoire cards Confusing missions and raids, not sure what to do many times and need to go to youtube to figure out the point of what the game wants you to do TOO MUCH PLATFORMING! I hate platformers where a slight misflick of the stick sends you to your death to start over.
This may must be a personal issue. If you like platformers you’ll be fine. Ridiculous update breaks without warning. I was about to win a crucible match (pvp) which is hard given my lack of skill and bungie kicks me out with seconds left and forces me to update.
No credit for the win or daily pvp marks. The game ultimately ends up a tedious gear grind like most MMORPGS. You’ll be constantly chasing gear while they continually move the carrot just out of reach.

The natural border between physics and gaming world never really blended in properly in past games. Somehow, when you destroy a structure or an object it always followed an “animation” , a preset pathway for that object to react when attacked or touched.
Somehow, you never received that “feeling”, that “accomplishment”, that “reward” where you know you destroyed a flippin 3 storey building and desire to see how each and indiividual matter of that building flies of to a bunch of C4 in your package.
Well. in Red Faction Guerrilla you can. The game is set at 4/5 as it’s story really never reaches the top mark. Also, the main gameplay mechansim kind of follows those “Player-Is-Free-To-Move” games to some great extent, its just that repetition is the main downside.
Other than this, visuals are fantastic and core level of destruction you can muster is great. The fun really hits in when you have arsenals of mass destruction at your disposals and just wish you had enough building and enemies to totally blow up.
Far as the level of detail that the building and structres get destroyed … its top notch ! Because the game is like GTA or maybe Assassin’s Creed, your free to roam around anywhere, and along the way there are side and main missions for you to enjoy.
Graphics is fairly good (my opinion), although some do say that there are technical and graphical glitches for weaker and older graphics cards, so do update your drivers for best possible experience.
Otherwise fairly good CPU , graphics card and ram will allow you to enjoy this game to its potential. The barrier set between physics and gaming truely sets in well and blends well too, player can get quite addicted to destroying the buildings for some time and then begin to play the core game it self.
Because of the innovative physics system and great graphics, the repetitive gameplay is buffered to high potentials leaving me to give this game a 4/5.
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift is a 2D fighting game developed by Arc System Works (best known for its Guilty Gear series). The game is an official sequel to BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. It features numerous changings in gameplay and at least five new characters: Tsubaki Yayoi, Hazama, -12, Makoto Nanaya and Valkenhayn R.
Hellsing (the later three released via DLC). One thing that hasn’t changed about BlazBlue is its excellent netcode, making it one of the most enjoyable fighting games to play online. The main advantage of this game is that each character is completely unique from every other character in terms of playstyle, movesets, and even mechanics.
Learning one will take some time, but the game is extremely satisfying when you start hitting your bread-and-butter combos consistently. Blazblue also contains excellent HD graphics, a decent story mode, and brilliant rock music.
All in all, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift provides a seamless fighting game experience by offering excellent Tutorial and Training Modes to help you learn your character before testing their skills in the game’s near-flawless online mode.
With a diverse and larger balanced character roster than the previous game, DLC and potential balance patches on the way from ARC System Works, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift is a solid offering for all people who like fighting games.
Further to my first review, I now own the full version. And I’m writing this fresh from spending an hour destroying one /very/ large bridge with nothing but a few detonation packs and a sledgehammer.
Something that was unashamedly fun, and probably won’t be beaten for sheer enjoyment value until the games allow the protagonist to shove the less fortunate down stairs. Red Faction Guerilla is the best in the series to date.
First person has been traded for third person – An unconvential move to make midway through a game series, but one that has worked. You start as a miner who ends up working for the Red Faction because he has no other option left to him, and then begin your fight to liberate Mars.
Something which can be done with a lot of explosives and a reckless disregard for others, or with a little bit of tact and help. Or a mixture of both. Civillian Morale has an impact in both profitability of missions as well as Guerilla recruiting, which the game takes care of for you, and can be acquired through doing missions to benefit civilians or destroying the oppressive EDF propaganda.
Control for each of the main sectors of Mars is represented by how active the Red Faction is, and the assets that EDF have in the area – Meaning that instead of a menial ‘defend this’ mission or a ‘defeat ten thousand enemies’ mission, one need only find an building the EDF likes, take up a position far enough away and have at it with a rocket launcher.
Destruction is unprecedented, the only downside that I’ve found so far is the inability to actually destroy the ‘ground’, which can be forgiven with the amount of buildings there are to be reduced to nothing.
The protagonist is hardy enough to have a building land on him without dying, most of the time, so getting up close and personal upon a building with a sledgehammer becomes that much more satisfying, but he is still vulnerable to bullets and large vehicles, so the game still has interesting difficulty.
The ability to tear down pretty much everything is this games main selling point, though, despite suitable music, a great plot, easy controls and an fun assortment of womans. While not wholly realistic, damaged buildings can and will fall apart on their own, causing more damage to themselves and those around them.
Cover wears down under explosive fire, and any game that allows you to tear down a barracks with nothing but a sledgehammer deserves some hefty respect. This game is a perfect example of everything that a modern game should be.
It’s well worth it’s price, it’s replayable, interesting, polished, well structured and has one hell of a wow-factor. But if that’s not enough for you, I’ll say this once again. I spent an hour destroying a bridge.
(IN hindsight, I could probably do it in about five minutes, but I’d need some of the equipment you only get in the latter stages of the game. ) That is to say, that I blew up the tarmac, drove vehicles through several of the girders and then detonated them, and then hacked away with a sledgehammer to sever as many sections as possible.
I didn’t feel like I’d spent an hour working at a stupid, optional in-game task. I felt like I had actually achieved something. And I haven’t been moved like that, by a game, for a very long time. And chances are, when I’ve destroyed everything on the map, and enjoyed the ending once or twice more? I’m going to start it up again, and head back to that one bridge.

5’10, 150lbs, 178cm. Read about some durability issues from other reviews on evo but I ride hard and haven’t experienced any issues like that. Candide hucks double backy’s on this ski regularly and i think that the durability issues are no more than some one offs.
See his instagram for proof. Haven’t gotten to ski deep pow yet but i have spent many days on groomers, crud, park, and powder< 6" and these skis have felt absolutely awesome. Super happy with their ability to carve groomers while still being a whopping 112 underfoot.
Lets get real, even living in the pacific northwest, we all ski groomers like 75%+ of the time so its very important to me to be able to carve groomers and lay my hips right into the snow. Edge hold is unreal and the radius is short enough to have lots of groomer fun even going slow.
This ski was new for 2020 but 2021 I believe is the same but blue. I ski’d the 2019’s (108 underfoot) for a couple days and I felt like the tails were grabby and wasn’t too happy with them but the new generation 2020’s mellowaed that out and, in my mind, perfected the ski.
Super easy to ski switch because of the shorter radius too. Mounted mine at -45mm from true center (3 or 4mm back from the candide line i think) and the tips seem to stay up great in deeper snow. I would highly recommend this ski to guys that are slowly ditching the terrain park and starting to bring freestyle all over the mountain.
Super lightweight. Im a small guy so it suits me well but i have a heavier friend who tried them and thought they were almost too light for him to charge hard on. Might recommend anyone over 170 lbs to bump up to the 180cm+ range for all mountain riding.
Overall very impressed and cant wait to push them even harder. A+++.
I haven’t had the chance to try these out yet as I bought them after my local hill closed. But I’m super stoked about them. I wanted to find a reasonable deal for park skis that would handle groomers and these were my first pick.
I couldn’t find them anywhere else except for Evo! They arrived on the predicted date; however, the delivery date was moved forward then moved back again which was a minor inconvenience. But my experience thus far has been great.
Wow. After all those hours spent researching, I’m glad to say that I have no regrets. I wasn’t sure if I was going to notice just how much lighter these would be than the average demo rentals I’ve tried in the past, but I was totally blown away.
I just took the 186s all over Breck (including the summit) during a week that dumped about 2 feet of dry powder, and they performed beautifully. They were playful, balanced, and *fast. * They can manage fine in moguls and groomers, but they’re super lightweight and are best suited for those who want to fly both on and off the ground, be maneuverable in the trees, and/or hop into the terrain park if you don’t care enough about having park skis.
They do seem to be sensitive to getting dinged up, but they’re an amazing blend of stability, speed, and style. [FYI, I’m an experienced in-resort Double D skier, but not backcountry, and I’m a beginner (by my standards) in the terrain park.
I’m 6′ tall, weigh 165 lbs. , and use Rossi Track 130 boots and Marker Griffin bindings at factory settings. ].

Reviews From Real Customers
I have been a snowboarder for 9 years and have always lived in the midwest suburbs. These were the first set of skis I have ever purchased. My first ride on them was my second time skiing, period and by the third run down the mountain, I was in love.
They felt amazing! at moderate speeds (10-15) they are super supple and turn very easily and at higher speeds (20-30) they hold their edge super well. I have never felt so confident going over patches of ice before, I just stuck my line and the skis held without waivering.
When I tucked in to zoom straight down the hill at around (30-40mph) they felt pretty stable but I could tell that at this speed some bumps and chunder might have made me feel a little less stable (this was expected from buying a ski with a true wood core and no metal dampening sheets in the core).
Overall, I appreciated the absence of metal sheets in the skis because of how light the skis were and flexible they were. I would totally recommend these skis to anyone wanting a high-quality set of skis that rides great over a multitude of surfaces.
This is a great all mountain ski. The build and quality are exactly what you’d expect from faction, even if it is one of their cheaper skis. The 96 waist is perfect for all conditions. They are rated as a medium turn radius but you can throw them around pretty quick with minimal effort.
I can’t say the bindings are as good. They are demo bindings so they are made to do large adjustments on the fly. The bindings sit on a track system so in total there are 4 pices mounted to each ski which makes these skis very heavy.
There is also a noticable amount of play between the binding and the mounting rail. This package of ski and binding is great for anyone staying on groomers but if you go off piste, get the unmounted version and buy a better pair of bindings.
Wow! I love these skis. I am self-taught skier and have been meaning to up-level my skiing to go from doing just greens and blues to try blacks and off-piste. These skis have really improved my skiing.
The skis are perfectly weighed for someone at my level. They provide great control and the rocker-camber-rocker ration is just perfect. I always used to rent skis but after skiing for a few years I decided to buy, and I am so glad I did.
I wasn’t aware of the Faction brand but after doing some research and watching their Faction Collective videos, especially of Candide Thovex I was super impressed with the brand. I am now itching to own everything Faction! I would highly recommend these skis to anyone who is an intermediate level skier looking to up-level themselves.
They look great as well and were priced very well.
Conclusion
The conclusion of which faction to join in Destiny 2 really depends on what you are looking for in the game. If you want to be a part of a team that is dedicated to taking down powerful enemies and working together to achieve goals, then you should definitely join the Guardians.
However, if you are looking for a more relaxed and social gaming experience, then you might want to consider joining the Drifters.
