There are many different types of eyeshadow looks that can be flattering for blue eyes. A common look is to use a light eyeshadow on the lid and a darker shade in the crease to create depth and dimension.
Another popular look is to use a shimmery eyeshadow on the lid and a matte eyeshadow in the crease for a more dramatic effect. Smokey eyes are also a great option for blue eyes, and can be achieved by using a variety of dark eyeshadows to create a smouldering look.
Whatever eyeshadow look you choose, be sure to use a primer beforehand to help the eyeshadow stay in place and to intensify the colours.

Please bring back pink Chiffon 540 ever since you discontinue that I’ve tried all your other one and the closest I’ve gotten so far is Champaign but there’s nothing that compares to Pink Chiffon 540 and I do mean nothing!! I’ve wore pink Chiffon 540 the majority of my adult life of wearing makeup! I don’t exactly want to say how old I am or how long I’ve been wearing the same eyeshadow!! Lol Truthfully if you find something that works for you, wouldn’t you stick with what works?? Well I stuck with what worked for me and now its discontinued!! I’m begging and pleading, I’m hoping and praying, you bring back Pink Chiffon 540!! At least bring it back for another 10-20 years? By then I probably won’t care anymore!!.
Same as many others. I have been using Cover Girl for over 30 years. My first product was the original remarkable, washable, water proof mascara in the purple tube-not the one sold today-the one with the very large brush.
Best mascara ever. I have been wearing Swiss chocolate eye shadow for so long, I can’t even remember wearing any other color. The color matched my eye color perfectly- now I am lost-no other color is even close.
Please bring it back! I can’t recommend these products to anyone because the best products get discontinued.
I love CoverGirl eyeshadows, but I don’t use or need an entire eyeshadow palette. So, I am very happy that these single shadows exist. Easy to use formula and has a good amount of pigment without being too pigmented.
Love the shades Champagne and Tapestry Taupe. Highly recommend if you want something affordable but good quality and user friendly.
Almay Intense i-Color Everyday Neutrals, Blues is an expertly coordinated palette that makes your eyes look brighter, bolder and more beautiful. The Intense i-Color Everyday Neutrals is the neutral palette suitable for every day wear.
Perfectly enhances your eye color for every occasion, whether it is day or night. Eye-shaped palette allows for easy application. Crease-resistant for all-day wear.
Buildable coverage!! Definitely works better on a primed eyelid. Palette wasn’t quite my go to for everyday makeup, but works great for special ocassions. Smooth pigment, easy to apply and use. I love the cohesion of the shades, makes it super simple to apply and create a beautiful look.
Achieve the perfect custom look — this shadow collection is designed to complement your unique eye color! It includes 12 pigment-rich eyeshadows in matte, satin and shimmer finishes. Layer them or wear them solo for day-to-night versatility.
I haven’t used this exact palette, since you can’t just review products you have that aren’t on this site. I’ll give you insight. I have their palette that has like 180 colors in it. It was 15 dollars at Kohl’s.
Their site in general is super cheap. They ship fast always have deals. The product is amazing and the packaging isn’t bad. I’d forsure go to your local Kohl’s play with their line in general or order online.
These shadows are beautiful, but the palette is much smaller than what I expected. I thought it would be the size of the Nudes palette, but it’s much smaller. It’s slightly longer than your hand, which means the shadows inside are tiny.
Some shadows are not very pigmented and some a slightly more pigmented. For 11 bucks it’s worth a shot. They are pretty and it’s a great collection for green eyes.
I like the colors that come in this pallet and I love the formulation, as with all BH cosmetics, but it’s hard for me to make an entire look with this pallet. so I have to pull from other pallets and colors, which isn’t a problem, but it makes it not the most ideal to travel with.
The pans are also really thin so sometimes my brush will get into the other colors which can be kind of annoying. But the colors that are there are really great and the pigmentation is beautiful. I got the blue eyes fro myself and a blue eyes and brown eyes for my friends as gifts this last Christmas.
Wrap yourself in soft, cosy colour. These matte palettes are full of five silky, soft and blendable shades. Applies on smooth and each palette is perfectly colour coordinated to shade and highlight eyes.
An array of shades from neutrals and bolds to create any look you desire.
omg this product is so nostalgic. i had this since i was 13 and i used it for so much. the lighter colors id use for setting powder with concealer and works well. and rhe dark colors for eyebrows or smokey eyes.
the only problem is that it doesnt last long and isnt as pigmented which is why its a 3 star.
Pure Luminous Color! Quads of pure, luminous color meant to be played with to play up your best feature – those eyes. Enriched with skin conditioners for smooth, even application, and available in rich, buildable color pigments, now you can go from subtle to dramatic in the blink of an eye.
With COVERGIRL Eye Shadow quads, getting the latest look is as easy as 1,2,3,4!.
I’m always surprised this product doesn’t get much hype. I’ve got three of these quads currently in my collection, and I really enjoy them. Are they the MOST pigmented? No, but they are far better than most drugstore quad palettes, rivaling some higher end in my collection.
I’m admittedly a makeup hoarder, and I tend to have to rotate through my collection or things will get buried and go unused. These stay in rotation more than most. They are always a pleasure for easy, everyday looks.
My favorite is Notice Me Nudes, which has a beautifully bright satin cream, an absolutely stunning metallic taupe (my favorite!!) And a great matte taupe for the crease, with a dark brown for deepening the look.
The dark brown appears to have glitter in the pan but it doesn’t translate to the eye and goes on matte. The metallic taupe is great on the lid, applied with a flat shadow brush, and even more intense with a little setting spray on your brush.
Very little fallout, wears all day with eyelid primer, stays true to color with minimal fading, pretty color selections.
I usually favor natural brown shades. However, I love mixing in some pinks now and then for highlights under the brow or right over my lashes. This CG product is perfect for this. It might be a touch too subtle, depending on the effect you are going for.
But if you use a touch of primer (or the tiniest dab of foundation) on your lids, this will deliver a gorgeous touch of pink that will last throughout your day. There is something about these shade that make you look awake and refreshed.
Experiment and determine for yourself, but I do recommend it based on my own experience. Enjoy!.
As a young teen I was ecstatic about these eye shadow quads, I think I had every color quad that was on the shelf. Over time practicing with make up, I stay away from these eyes shadow quads because they are actually inconvenient unless you don’t really play with make up a lot.
Colors are nice but I find they don’t compliment each other and other colors from different pallets are needed to enhance the full effect that the quad portrays. Colors don’t really blend well and there is A LOT of fall out.
Don’t recommend to beauty guru’s. Pretty cheap if you’re looking for something to start out with if you’re not comfortable with make up.
I absolutely LOVE all of my loose eyeshadows. They are worth the price and last a very long time. You get more product with loose powder. And they aren’t messy when youre used to using them. They last all day, even after a long 12 hour shift.
It looks just as fresh at the end of the day and you never have to reapply. They feel creamy and blend so well. A new generation is discovering the loose powder because it just looks so much better than any pressed powder.
I HATE pressed eyeshadows. They just crack and fall wasted into the sink. Not to mention you only wear a few of the colors in a set. The loose eyeshadow lasts a very long time, so much longer than a pressed version.
This is BM’s best work and if you read the comments, most of the negative ones are just because they discontinue amazing colors. Some of mine are discontinued and you can never find anything close to it again.
Please never discontinue loose powders BM, it is the BEST version of makeup to ever be created.
My review is on the color Devotion a shimmering amethyst purple shade that is beautiful on my light/med olive complexion. The texture is great to worth with around the eye area. I learned I can dip my brush into water and then apply the shadow to make it darker.
Or apply it normally on dry brush for a light shade. The versatility of this eye shadow is what I love the most. Daytime to nighttime makeup in one and I’m so many gorgeous colors.
Okay, I haven’t worn it yet but holy moly it’s so sparkly, much too much for me. Many years ago I had a yellow shadow that I loved. It went perfectly with my coloring and my yellow gold jewelry (yes That matters to me).
Now that I have aging eyelids I started looking for another that would be flattering. I looked at Queen Phyllis and while it did look like it had a lot of sparkle it didn’t seem so intense so I bought it.
Holy cow it’s like wearing pure glitter! I played with it on my hand using other shadows as the base and the tiniest, and I mean the TINIEST of Queen Phyllis on top. I found that it will work for me using that method.
It wouldn’t be cost effective to return it because of the S&H both ways so I’ll keep it and stay on the hunt for a yellow shadow that doesn’t scream sparkles.
Maybelline’s longest-lasting shadow. Cream gel smoothes on for vibrant color that does not fade. Ink technology creates 24HR wear shadow for our most intense, long-lasting color saturation. Cream formula glides on without creasing and keeps color vibrant Ophthalmologist-tested.
Safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. For Best Results: With fingertips, sweep all over eye from inner corner and work outwards. For added drama, darken as desired. Made in USA.
I am in love with this product. I love the matte+poreless liquid foundation as well, and I got this in the same shade (classic ivory). I should note, it is a tiny bit lighter in color than the liquid (which for me was fine).
I would say it’s light/medium coverage, but buildable. I was looking for a powder foundation bc summer in my hometown is sweltering, and I have oily skin. This product is incredible! I absolutely love it.
I wish like anything that it was around when I was a teen. It’s very easy to use, so very beginner friendly, but also extremely effective. I use it with some concealer and it looks great. The applicator is great, although I do recommend going over it with a big brush just to make sure it’s all smoothed out.
And btw, it’s great for oil control. I know powder foundation may not be for everyone, but for me it’s a breeze to apply and feels light as air. Truly incredible product!.
I just read in another review that you discontinued the color Leather. Why would you do that? I have very fair skin and use the Leather on my brow bone. I love the quality and smooth application of the Tatto just like everyone else, so I have no idea why you would discontinue any color.
Also, as others have stated here, please add more matte colors. Eye-popping shiny, metallic colors may be in all the magazines, but it doesn’t work for a day time job. This is a great product and would love to see more matte nude colors, especially for my super fair skin.
Thank you for a wonderful eye makeup! I apply this with one of my own makeup brushes or a makeup sponge over eye shadow base, and it goes on like butter!.
My only regular makeup used to just be eyeliner. Sometimes if I’m feeling fancy I’ll put some BB cream on too. I prefer things that are easy to apply and will last on my oily/combination skin and this eyeshadow absolutely does that.
I can apply it with just my finger or a brush, and it’s easy to build and blend even for a complete novice like moi. And by the end of a full day it is gone a little bit from my crease (not something I’m overly concerned about given my hooded eyelids), but everywhere else it still looks as fresh as if I’d just put it on.
Extraordinary eye makeup color with a silky, sensual finish that lasts all day. Rich, velvety textures glide on effortlessly with superior smoothness. The velvet-tip applicator included in maybelline new york expert wear eyeshadow quads blends without tugging or pulling.

I absolutely love the Maybelline Expert Wear Eye Shadow Quads. Has a nice soft texture and goes on easily. I love that they include complimenting colors for eye lid, lash line, creases and a dark color for the outside of your eyes.
All colors blend in so well. For day wear, I sometimes omit the darkest shade and go with the three colors. I feel that my eyes always look nice. This eyeshadow is reasonably priced, as well.
I just received the Sunlit Bronze and Mocha Motion. Neither palette matches what is advertised, especially the Mocha Motion. In the pictures, there is a lovely lavender shade for the lid, but the lid shade here is a bland pinkish gray.
The liner is dark grey, crease color is grey, and the base is a very strong white color. There is nothing “Mocha” about this palette. As for the Sunlit Bronze, the base color is darker and shiny, and the lid and crease colors are darker, nowhere near as vibrant as the product photos on this website.
The colors of the products I received are not what I would wear, so I will be returning them. So disappointing.
A versatile cream eyeshadow stick that delivers high-pigment, metallic color with stay-put power Creamy, blendable formula won’t smear or crease and offers all day wear Easily applies as an eyeshadow or liner to create a range of looks that can be worn alone or under your favorite eye color Twist-up design with a built-in sharpener Proud to be 100% vegan and cruelty-free, worldwide.
I bought this in Midnight Sapphire and Copper Chic to add a bit of colour to my winter looks. Both sticks are nicely packaged (make great gifts) and the Copper Chic is really glamourous looking as the outside of the stick is finished in copper chrome – makes it look very expensive! Both colours are well pigmented and they share the same warm pinky/copper sparkle – the sparkles are very small, but enough to catch the light without looking like you’ve been making Christmas Cards! The Copper Chic is a warm mid-brown (the colour of milk chocolate) and could be used as a very subtle liner or as a shadow.
The Midnight Sapphire is a more obvious colour and works well on my fair skin as a liner and also as a shadow. The Sapphire is a warm blue with an almost lilac/mauve tone to it; this with the warm colour sparkle makes it very easy to wear – true blues can be quite harsh and aging, but this is a very pretty colour and would work equally well on a proper smokey eye or a lighter daytime look.
These shadow sticks live up to their name and do not budge easily, only creasing after a long day without any touch ups. An interesting point to note is that both colours can be ‘polished’ to a more glossy shine – apply the colour and then buff it gently with your finger tip.
This works really well on the centre of your eyelids to bring a more highlighted effect.
I have literally every color of these. As I get older (I’m 38 and I have been using elf products since they came out about 15 years ago) I find that cream/stick shadows work better on my oily lids, as long as they don’t crease…if you apply these correctly, they will not crease, migrate, or wear off.
The colors can be diffused with a brush for a soft wash, & they can be used boldly as well. I use them over an eye primer (the $3 elf eye primer is great for this because it’s sheer), but you MUST let them set! If you apply them and don’t let them set properly, they will smear, but if you let them set and dry down, they will not budge.
You don’t have to use primers or setting spray for these to stay either, but with my oily lids, I use both. They also make for a super quick cut crease, and they can be used as a base too. I’ve seen so many people use these and try to touch it before it’s dried down, and say they’re not good, but they hadn’t set yet.
I’ve also seen ppl try setting them with powder, which ruins the finish. Just try them by themselves, I swatched them on my hand and let them set to see if they’d move, and after they set, I couldn’t rub them off my hand, but it does come off easily with makeup remover so you don’t have to destroy your skin scrubbing hard to remove it.
I’ve used so many shadow sticks in both drug store and high end brands, and these are still my favorite for the color payoff, ease of use, and staying power. For $5, you can’t beat it, considering most of the higher end ones are $20+ for one stick, and the quality isn’t as good as these.
I have used these No Budge Shadow Sticks from e. l. f. for years (although they could’ve had a different name originally) but this review is for the current shades I own; the Mint Collection, Champagne, Rose Quartz, Cookies n’ Dreams.
I was prompted to write this after I kept almost buying the pink shade, Rose Quartz, and finally did but wish I hadn’t. Unfortunately the pink looks like a lovely, creamy, light pink but pigmented product online and in person it barely shows anything on my lighter skin tone.
I’ve tried primers, changing placement and about the only thing that kind of works is using it as a base for pink shadows. It doesn’t really brighten the colours like a stark white or deep black but if able to apply it evenly and get a shadow or pigment on before it “sets” it does add staying power and some pigment but the downside is it impairs blendability.
I tried taking a picture to show the lack of colour but I couldn’t get anything to appear. I hope I can write a separate review for other shades, at least for the green mint and blue from Cookies n Dreams because I have bought the Mint stick 4 times (2 are still sealed but I know it is going to disappear from online at some point and I love it! So because more of my experiences are positive than negative I am giving 3 stars which in my book is average.
Not great but not bad by any means- but there are some at each end of that spectrum.
It looks like rich, vibrant color that glides on in a single stroke, delivering a stunning multi-dimensional effect. Well, the formula starts as a gel and then is transformed by a special process into a stunning powder eyeshadow with pure color and power wear.
The unique process allows you to blend this incredibly innovative, weightless formula easily with your fingertips to light up your eyes. Even more to entice: It can used wet or dry, resists creasing, and comes in satin matte, shimmer and iridescent metallic finishes.
I have used this eyeshadow before. I like the pink and charcoal shades, so I reordered three more. Two of them were fine. However, the “cake” of one eyeshadow is completely detached from the bottom of its case.
Maybe I can glue down the cake of eyeshadow somehow. Otherwise, I would recommend this product.
I stumbled on these totally by accident before I had even really heard much about the brand, and the colors were so pretty and such a great price that I scooped up a haul of several shades since I didn’t know if I would see them again.
The shades deliver even pigment that’s easily blended and can be packed to achieve incredibly rich color. My favorite is the gold shade. It really lights up my green eyes. I use a lid primer and have used these both dry and wet, and they really rock.
The color stays true and there’s no fallout. The only negative at all with these is that the little compact is a little tricky to get open until you get the hang of it, which can be annoying. These are truly great, though, and for the price they are a steal.
I like to collect dark grey eye shadows and I wanted to give this make a try. I apply it with an eye shadow brush over primer. The texture is smooth and does not crumble. It goes on well over primer and stays on all day.
Other shadows I have used fade through out the day even with primer. Am not sure how long it stays on without primer as I have not tried that. It has a nice smooth finish to it which I really like. I like to wear it with a black liquid eye liner and black mascara.

I love this eye shadow. It is buttery so there is little fall out. It is deeply pigmented with good color saturation. However, the color on my lid is not as bright a purple as it appears in the compact.
It is more of a deep plumb rather than a violet. I do not blend my eyeshadow so i do not know how well this product blends with others. It comes without an applicator and after trying both a sponge applicator and a brush, I personally had better control with the brush.
This shadow is $4. 99 in Target. Beautiful quality and so cheap! It’s a lovely pigmented matte cool taupe shade that makes the whites of my eyes look extremely white and overall makes my green eyes come alive.
It has an almost creamy texture but yet it drys to a powder. Lasts all day over foundation and powder without any creasing. I use Cafe Au Lait on my lid and into the crease along with Paris Beach on the browbone.
It’s a classic look that works perfectly with my green eyes and NW20 skin. Definitely recommend. especially if your eyes are green and you have light cool skin.
I absolutely love this color! I was looking for Catrice Under Treasure, but found L’Oréal had a similar color. It’s just about the same color and looks good. Very happy with the purchase of the L’Oréal shimmer eye shadow!.

IšverstiShow in original languageI’ve been using Lancôme for 16-15 years. These are literally the most prestigious high quality eye shadow you will ever have. No fallout, pigment is prominent and it lasts for more than 12 hours.
That’s if you take care of your skin of course. If you don’t take care of your eyes with proper serums, primers and a good night sleep that’s on you not on this brand that’s been on the market a lot longer than those other popular brands for teenagers like Morphe.
My grandmother would use Lancôme so did my mom and now I am following that tradition. You can’t go wrong with high end brands like Clinique Estée Lauder and Lancôme. But Lancôme’s makeup line is absolutely more versatile for all generations than the other 2.
There is a reason why these palettes are so costly. I literally do not need to keeping adding on eyeshadow over and over again on my eyes like with other brands. It’s so highly pigmented all it takes is one stroke.
The purple one is divine and my absolute favorite. And it’s definitely not more “pink” than purple like another reviewer claimed.
IšverstiShow in original languageWhen Ulta has their Beauty Breaks, what better way to spend $50 quickly than just purchasing a palette? Well, Lancome has you covered. Both of these palettes are so beautiful.
I have both of them. I swatched the beige neutral one, and I was prepared to be bored. Oh no! The pigments build and they can become quite smoky on the eye. The purple one is so surprisingly beautiful.
The purples are actually purples, which is really hard to formulate. I love the pop of shimmers in each palette. The pigment lasts all day. I stopped buying Lancome makeup years ago, and then picked these up on a whim.
Lancome, once again, has reminded me that they know pigment, they know beautiful, cohesive palettes, and I for one want more of them. I feel beautiful while wearing both palettes, and I cannot help but reach for them daily.
The NYX eyeshadow is very concentrated a pigment and comes out very shimmery and high shine as in it won’t have chunky glitter or shimmer but if you were to wipe it you can see shimmer remaining. It blends well into the skin.
It has minimum fall out and staying power is decent on my oily lids like a three hour time without base. With base I would say it looks good five hours or so. I love the color and no complaints with pricing either.
it comes out lighter than what it is in the bottle. Since you also get this in a tube, it’s pretty tiring to get it out of the tube. We need a tiny brush or flip it upside to get some product on the finger or may be use what is left in the cap.
Overall these are very pigmented shiny affordable, offer so many colors. Though not easily available its worth the wait to order them from cherry culture. It’s a color that instantly brightens up the face and eyes !.
I’ve tried several of these from metallic to glitter based. Color payoff is exceptional, primer is necessary. Application can be messy considering the packaging. You have to pour it on something or shake it, using a finger to collect color.
NYX Ultra Pearl Mania pigments make it “hard not to sparkle with our ultra shimmering loose shadow powders that can be used on eyes, cheeks, even lips. These finely milled eyeshadows are high impact, long lasting, and a little addictive.
” NYX offers a total of thirty shades, this review will be featuring Charcoal, which NYX calls a “shimmering dark grey. ” NYX’ Ultra Pearl Mania pigments contain 5ml (. 06 oz) and sell for a super cheap $3.
I received this pigment in my December Ipsy Bag. NYX is a cruelty free brand. Their pigments are made in China. NYX products can be bought through the brand’s website, e-tailers like Cherry Culture, and at Target and Ulta.
I’ve previously expressed my disdain for NYX’ pigment packaging. These pigments come in little plsatic ars with a screw on cap. The product name and NYX logo grace the front of the jar. A silver label was previously affixed to the back of the jar, offering the shade name and number and an ingredient list.
The jar has a very narrow opening, which is annoying because you need the littlest brush to work with this pigment. Such a pain to use. Like all pigments, NYX’s Ultra Pearl Manias can be used for anything your little heart desires, but for the purpose of reviewing them, I’m considering them as an eyeshadow.
NYX Charcoal pigment is on the chunkier side, so it causes a moderate amount of fallout during application. The color payoff is decent, but it can be built up, for maximum payoff Charcoal should be foiled.
NYX Ultra Pearl Mania in Charcoal wears really poorly, it falls down throughout the day, leaving me with raccoon eyes. No only does the color migrate around my face, whats left on my eyes creases pretty significantly, even with primer.
NYX Charcoal is an interesting color. In the jar it looks like a greyed olive. Once applied it shows it’s true color a silvery grey with a somewhat duochromatic blue aspect to it. Charcoal is pretty shimmery, though the individual flecks of shimmer are small and subtle, giving it a pearlescent finish.
Charcoal is a great smokey eye shade. I’m not impressed with NYX’ Charcoal Ultra Pearl Mania pigment. I mean we all know how much I hate the packaging, but the product this stupid little jar contains is equally bad.
The pigment isn’t refined enough, so it suffers from problematic application. NYX’ Charcoal pigment seems to be able to adhere to skin or primer. The color is a nice, useful, dimensional grey. If you love the color of Charcoal Ultra Pearl Mania, but want a more reliable product I suggest spending and extra buck or two and taking a look at NYX’ extensive selection of pressed eyeshadows, there’s bound to be one that’s similar.
For the 1st time ever, L’Oreal Paris introduces an ultra intense eye shadow that lasts from day until dawn; a full 24 hours. This revolutionary formula fuses the ease of a powder with the velvety caress of a cream to create a unique hybrid that glides on effortlessly.
And with its unique technology, your eyes are enhanced with pure, magnified pigment. Waterproof, crease resistant, fade resistant.
m a little confounded whether these are restricted release or then again if they’ll become super durable. Yet, on the off chance that you review last year we saw comparable showcases around this season and the shades in that show turned out to be essential for the long-lasting assortment and since they didn’t name this assortment, I have an inclination that will be the situation with these shadings.
We should investigate Silver Sky. Initially I believed that L’Oreal Silver Sky Infallible Eyeshadow was a hoodwink for L’Oreal Primped and Precious Infallible Eyeshadow which dispatches with the L’Oreal Diamond Collection for Holiday 2012.
However, after looking into it further Silver Sky is extensively more shimmering and a more genuine silver where as Primped and Precious is more dark based. The surface of Infallible Eyeshadow is significantly more stuffed in this tone so you’re not kicking up a lot of thick sparkle or eyeshadow when you press a brush into it.
I discover finger application or utilizing a wipe tip implement to pack tone on is to a greater extent a wreck free approach to apply and it’ll limit drop out. A normal brush will in general add to drop out with these shadows.
I don’t actually embrace finger application because of microbes however applying with a wipe utensil and mixing out with your finger limits drop out and sparkle over-burden.
I have just about every single shade in the Loreal Infallible potted shadows. I’ve been using them for YEARS! And now companies are coming along and charging 4× as much, if not more for the exact same product.
Eternal Sunshine is a dupe for Mac or the Tarte Chrome Paints. These are gorgeous and I’ve had some of the same ones for years and they are still going strong. *Sorry for the crappy pic, and I have so many more but do not want to dig through my singles drawer.
But these shades are 333Golden Sage (green/gold), 759Burst into Bloom (sparkily orchid), and 800Bottomless Java (chocolate brown).
This is the first eye shade I have ever used that didn’t crease!! I have extremely oily skin, and primers seem to do nothing for me. NOTHING! I read a review of this and saw the sample colors on a girl’s hand for this shade, and went for it.
First of all, I love how you can apply a light shimmer by not putting much on, or you can go heavier and get super shimmery – that’s awesome (and was evident in the hand-color picture in the review I read).
This color doesn’t crease at all – miracle! If anything, it seems to dim or fade as the day goes on, but that is so much better than the crease. I plan on buying it in other colors so I have some variety, and ditching all other eye shadow I own (or giving to my sister).
I have been using this for a couple weeks and it’s performed the same every time!.

Photo-Ombré Eclat Eye Shadow No10 Quartz: This range is now impossible to find in stores, so when I found it on the Sisley website I was thrilled! Best shadow ever for applying and lasting throughout the day.
I’m sure the new range is just as good, but all the shades seem to have more glitter whereas the Phyto-Ombré range is matte with a very slight shimmer. I recommend these shadows!.

Chanel brought this back! I remember using their cream eyeshadow 20yrs ago & it was just as fabulous then as now! I bought the Scintillance (804). I have blonde hair, blue eyes & fair complexion w/pink undertones.
I apply from brow bone down, covering my entire eyelid… Although, you can apply w/the index fingertip, I prefer using the Chanel No. 20 Eye Contour/Blender Brush. It goes on smooth as silk & lasts all day.
The beauty of this color is it gives a very nice natural look but can also be used as a base eyeshadow color & built upon w/other colors to create various intensities based upon the look one is going for.
I prefer using it alone as I prefer just a quick & easy to apply eyeshadow for a very natural look. But, I also think it would be fun to use another cream shadow as a 2nd color on top of it on my lower lids.
It’s a win-win! You can’t go wrong… Unless you’re complexion is considered an Autumn (like my mom (fair, dark Auburn hair color & dark brown eyes) & she couldn’t use it) b/c it’s too pink for an Autumn complexion.
I love almost everything CHANEL, but this was a major disappointment. I purchased three colors. All of them are so sheer, it’s like I am not wearing anything. I do use a base, which greatly brings out the color in every brand, except this one.
It’s as though this formula is “base resistant”. I applied layer upon layer, first with the sponge applicator and then with a brush, and the color does not build whatsoever. The formula is extremely dry.
I can’t believe that in this modern era, one of the top beauty brands is still making eyeshadow that is dry like fine sand. I don’t have dry eyelids/dry skin whatsoever. I don’t even recall, in my 41 years of life, ever owning an eyeshadow that went on so dry! I honestly don’t get why CHANEL can’t produce some decent eyeshadows.
They need to lose all the crazy sparkles in everything too and introduce some variety to their customers.
I bought this just before Melbournes fifth lockdown. I had previously purchased Silver Pink in this range and enjoyed every bit of it. It was creamy and exactly what I hoped for. This time I bought the colour Pourpre Profond; a pretty bronze-brown-red shade.
But unlike the earlier Ombré Premier, this one is dry, patchy, flat and all-round an extremely disappointing Eye Shadow. Will not be buying this Ombre Premiere range again.

This eyeshadow palette builds and blends like a dream. At first, I was very skeptical, as I had never purchased a Multi Effect Quadra Eyeshadow before. As you can tell by the photos, these shades are perfect for a special occasion, holiday party or date night with the hubby.

TraduciMostra in lingua originaleMy main complaint about this pretty little compact is that the eyeshadows are dome-shaped, which means it makes a huge mess all over when using them. Secondary to that, they are very lightly pigmented.
The pink, beige, and highlight colors are almost invisible, even layered. They do nothing in the way of adding color to the base lid or working as a highlight on the brow. If you are a fan of the very subtle, these are great colors for you, but I can’t see it at all and it does not build.
The remaining purpley brown color is actually quite nice. Still subtle, but due to that, it makes a nice soft lower liner. I think it may just be the colors I chose, as some of the other color choices look more vibrant.

Purchased the glow gold 41 shade. Really beautiful true gold shade which will be great for summer. Love the formulation of these shadows, half powder half cream texture. Very easy to blend. Long lasting.
Sparkling Topaze works really well with my light brown eyes. Silky coral is another winner. Didn’t find French Blue to have the colour payoff as I would have liked. Overall great product.
The eyeshadow single is expensive, but the quality is exceptional. I’m not particularly eager to fuzz with multiple colors, but I enjoy wearing color. The formula goes smooth, there is a lovely seen but no glitter what so ever.
It looks good by itself, or you can build the intensity for a more dramatic look. I already bought two, and I would love to throw out all my other shadows and order one or two more of this formula. For reference, I am 47, so although I am in good shape, my eyes feel dry with specific brands.
I used to wear a lot of channel and TF eyeshadows. Chantecaille and Sisley seem to feel more comfortable and do not irritate my eyes.
I love makeup. Especially eye makeup. For years I wore a lot of eye makeup and always received compliments. Then suddenly I reached an age where it seemed like I was to be stuck with neutrals and matte shadows for the rest of my life.
I no longer had fun putting on makeup. I tried to step out of the my boring routine but each time I would try it just didn’t look good on me and I’d end up taking it off and putting on the matte neutrals again.
Then I found this shadow and I liked the way it looked. I may be 50 but I could wear shadow with a shimmer again. I used NARS eye base and only put the color on my lower lid. I used black liquid eyeliner close to the lash line and black mascara.
I love it and I’m so glad I didn’t give up my search.
