20 Best Eyeliners For Sensitive Eyes (2023 Updated)

Color Purchased: Smokey Quartz Espresso – I have long dark brown / black hair and bold dark eyebrows. But typical black eyeliners look too bold and intense in my opinion. The color is perfect – it practically black but has a warm undertone, none of that blueblack color.

It’s closer to black than dark brown. Application: a stiff felt tip – so easy to apply for me! I do a more subtle wing and follow the curve of my eyelid. It is so easy to control. I used to use Lancôme’s Art Liner but it was so hard to control for me, and it took so much longer to do.

This stuff felt tip literally only takes me a minute. Wear / Longevity: This is the first liner I’ve had that doesn’t flake off or bleed by the end of the day. I have some oily / sweaty eyelids that even my mascara rubs off on my upper lid while blinking.

But this eyeliner? It stays put. Even after crying or washing my face, if I don’t rub it correctly it’ll still be on! The only thing is sometimes at the end of the day I’ll see it’s slightly faded from me mindlessly rubbing it.

But I’ve never had the issue of me mindlessly rubbing my eyes, only to check the mirror hours later and see I’ve completely wiped off a whole wing like I’ve had with other eyeliners haha! But not with this one.

Most of the time, it’s just as bold all day long.

I compared the performance of the MECCA Max Wink Ink and Stila Stay All Day liquid eyeliners. Wink Ink initially applied remarkably well, but I believe it became more difficult to apply the longer the product had been opened, and struggled to create intense colour and smooth lines, especially when wearing BB Cream underneath.

In classic liquid liner fashion, Wink Ink transferred to my upper eyelids throughout the day. As the name suggests, liner transfer has not happened while using Stay All Day. I am also able to create smooth, intense, and symmetrical lines with greater ease than when using Wink Ink.

This may be due to the design of the thicker felt tip (which is still able to create thin lines) on Stay All Day. Removal of the two liners is similar and unremarkable: both come of with your favourite cleanser.

You will get better results from Stay All Day than you will from Wink Ink. I believe the gain in results far exceeds the 1. 5x cost.

I purchased this eyeliner on the weekend as an upgrade from a cheaper brand. I went in to store and asked what liquid liner they would recommend and was told this hands down. I wore it today for the first time, and went to take my dog for a walk and she decided to escape and run across a busy road into oncoming traffic and because I love that stupid dog, I also did.

I was running and sweating and managed to catch her and spent an hour afterwards crying and swearing I would give her up to the RSPCA. Through all of this, the eyeliner stayed put. Whilst I hope you do not experience this, if you do and you are wearing this eyeliner, it would survive.

I also use hydrating eyedrops for dry eyes and it survives these too, staying perfectly in tact. Break with your boyfriend? This eyeliner will take it. Get hammered and jump into a swimming pool? This eyeliner will survive.

Chase your dog into oncoming traffic and cry for an hour? Again, this eyeliner will stay perfectly in tact. Buy this eyeliner and you will not regret it.

I have so many black eyeliner pencils, I forgot I bought this one. I don’t think I used it except playing around in lockdown Flash forward to a few weeks ago, my disorganized self rediscovered it in my cache of makeup and wore it out to a memorial.

It it didn’t budge through tears and a very long day. I have dry eye and allergies which causes my eyes to tear up often at inopportune times like when I’m trying to look cute. So I gave it a whirl out to dinner and just a whole day at home, same perfect wear.

I loved it so much I picked up two more when I had a coupon to my neighborhood drugstore. I’m sold. It twists up, which usually is not a style of eyeliner I like, but I like this one. One end has a smudger that flips over to a sharpener.

The smudger is great of you want to get any spots missed by lashes or to smoke out. Definitely do it right after you put it on. Removal one definitely needs something oil based, I use a balm. And it takes a lot.

If you want an eyeliner you can snooze in and wake up looking hot, this is it. I am definitely curious about the other colors.

Winged eyes are my every day look, and I’ve gone through so many different brands and types of eyeliners. I’ve purchased both cheap and expensive, as well as pencils, gels, and liquids. I’ve used different sized applicators ranging from tiny, wispy brushes to super thick felt tips, and dealt with terrible pigmentation and durability issues.

I can honestly say that Revlon’s Colorstay Liquid Liner is the best of all categories when trying to create the most perfect wing! I typically don’t apply liquid liner on my water line so I would only recommend using on the lid.

I can apply this early in the morning, spend an entire day at work, and my liner lasts until I take it off at night. It loses very slight pigmentation, but not enough to need complete reapplication before heading back out for the night! One of the few downsides to the durability is that, if you make any mistakes when applying, you’ll need makeup remover to correct.

My skin type is normal/dry, and I’ve had minor irritation on the outer corner of my eye while the product is drying (I typically have that problem with most makeup, though. ) The formula is fairly wet to begin with, so I may not recommend to beginners, and a little goes a long way.

I’ve consistently repurchased this product and will continue to do so!.

I was looking for a blue/teal retractable eyeliner and this one is almost perfect!! It lasts all day and doesn’t smudge unless i rub really hard. It def makes brown eyes pop! The reason it looses a star however is it doesn’t go on as well, on the waterline.

But if that’s not an issue for you, than this is perfect! I sometimes wear it right on the tightline, do winged liner, and you can even do graphic liner. For mostly whatever, this is perfect! I am going to keep buying for sure!.

This lip liner is very impressive! It’s creamy, glides across the lips easily, and is still a sturdy formula so it doesn’t feel like it’s going to break. I like the automatic aspect to it, making it easy to reapply on the go.

Natural is the perfect warm neutral shade that isn’t too light or dark for my skin tone (naturally NC15 but I’m always self tanned to NC30). I think it would work great for fair skin tones up to medium or medium tan.

Highly recommend and would definitely fry other shades in the range. It claims to be waterproof which I’m not sure about but it’s long lasting. I like to pair Natural with NYX’s XXL liquid lip in Turn On for a browny warm nude look.

Also I’d try this before spending money on high end pencils. I think it’s way better than MAC and is almost as good at CT.

I’ll be honest. I wish that NYX had made all of their newer epic liner pencils in this format. These retractable eye liner pencils are just so convenient and make application so easy that I want them in more colors.

Not to mention they’re incredibly affordable, the pigmentation is no joke and they apply like a dream. With all of this praise, what’s the caveat? Just that if worn along the lower lashes and one has oily, watery or under eye skin which tends to heavily fold/crease when laughing/smiling then these will smudge.

To be fair, no one said they were smudge-proof sooo. that was on me.

I tried this several years ago when I was inexperienced with liquid eyeliner and thought it was great. Fast forward to today after using tartes liquid liner and kat von d – nice sharp point on brush), I bought this thinking it would be great but was quickly disappointed.

I’m someone who has a hard time with liquid liner so I was thinking the thicker less stiff brush would be easier to streamline the process but it is not! Because it’s so thick it ends up looking messy, it is nearly impossible to get a clean line (it bleeds with little splotches), second – you cannot get a precise point if you like wing liner, it will be thicker because the brush is probably three times the size as most liquid eyeliners, three – it is difficult to get a nice black line directly next to your lash line.

Ended up trying several times using this product and it always looks like a kid did my eyeliner and I have very good hand eye coordination, just need the right tools. Don’t fall for the hype. The only benefit this might have is someone who likes a very thick cat liner look similar to what kat von d showcases.

If you like precision, sleekness, and a clean look that you can also make dramatic but keep classy, stick with the thin point and dense liquid eyeliner brush that is offered by many other brand for 20 dollars instead of 30.

I recommend tarte. Though it can be annoying at times and takes some patience using a thin brush, the outcome is always worth it for precise look.

I’ve used this produce for years. The best with my color was a navy, sometimes called blueberry (I think), but it seems that the darker blues come and go. On me, black is too harsh and it would be nice if smoke were a tad lighter yet I am happy that you have that option.

It seems that there is less in your product than previously. Is this possible? Perhaps I am wrong but either way, I agree that it dries out more easily than before and therefore runs out more quickly and is sometimes harder to apply because of the dryness.

Please do not stop providing the smoke as an option as your eyeliner seems to be the one I’ve found that is best for my color since the deeper blues are no longer options. Thanks for reading and considering my comments.

Pros: The liquid liner formula itself is fantastic–it is super pigmented and lasts all day. Cons: The applicator has a fat tip, so it takes some effort to get a precise, thin line. However, my BIGGEST issue was that it dried out in just a little over a month’s time! I’ve never had a tube of liquid liner from high end or low end brands dry out that quickly before.

Perhaps I got an old bottle, but I don’t think I’ll ever purchase one again to find out. I never pump and only had it open when actively applying it, which takes me less than a minute a couple times a week.

This was the first bad product I’ve ever gotten from Lancome, and I’ve been wearing their makeup for decades now.

I don’t use many Clinique products- only a mascara before this, so I didn’t really have any expectations. But, I obsessively collect eyeliners and this was recommended for sensitive eyes and for use in the waterline.

Clinique says it has the intensity of a liquid liner in a richly pigmented automatic pencil format. I would say that this is somewhat true. It has a silky formula that easily glides on and stays all day/ until you remove with makeup remover.

It never needs sharpening, but it’s important to note that the pencil does not retract. I learned the hard way. You can smoke it out with the smudge tip on the other side, which works pretty well. You have about one minute for the formula to set and before it becomes transfer proof.

I have this in “clove”, which is a pretty brown. I recommend this, especially for sensitive or allergic eyes.

Loves: – this is a nice, true black liner. A lot of liners lean gray or are just so sheer that it ultimately looks grey. – easy to use even if it is a felt tip (i love a brush tip personally!) – long lasting on days I don’t sweat or my eyes aren’t teary dislike: – MOST days are sweaty and teary days for me.

It is not cry proof. Never worn it on days I sweat. “Teary” doesn’t mean crying for me, I just have watery eyes. Any and all makeup irritates them a little but this was more because I laid down on my left side when watching youtube videos 😭 – The top doesn’t like to stay on, especially since I sit it upside down when not using it.

– the felt tip was quite dry when I first bought it. It took about 3 times of me trying for it to look good. This is NICE but makeup is getting so expensive you’re better off either splurging on that high end you’ve been wanting for months OR getting a drugstore that’s cheaper but comparable in quality (wet n wild breakup proof, elf intense ink, LA Colors Eye Marker) picture is of me after laying down on my left side for like 3 hours with it on.

Other side is still not the best but it’s on there which is better than most liners I’ve tried.

I bought this eyeliner on the basis of the brand name, dint ever thought to check the review. And I tried it before going to office and when I went to get fresh and up in the office I saw myself with panda eyes in the mirror (don’t laugh), yes the whole eyeliner was spreaded on my eyes and I already have dark circles and my eyes were looking as if they were bruised.

Eyeliner was whole spreaded across my eyes. I was so embarrassed. I don’t have oily skin nor did I wash my face but just fidgety with clearing my eyes off the whole dark and thick layered eye liner was spreaded.

I tried to return it but it was costing me more hence couldn’t even return it, such bad luck and dint expected to pay for return with Look Fantastic. But now it’s just lying in the makeup kit untouched and unused.

Really very disappointed with such a high and good brand name with such pathetic product. Never ever buy it.

I have been using a few deluxe samples of this Maybelline Master Precise All Day Liquid Eyeliner and here’s what I think about it,… For a drugstore liquid liner, it’s pretty great. The formula is very pigmented and it glides onto your eyelid smoothly.

Even though I’m personally partial to brush tips and this product has a felt one, I love how precise and flexible it is. And when I say precise, I mean it gives me one of the thinnest lines ever! It’s perfect if you have hooded eyelids and want to make sure your graphic liner isn’t taking over your entire look.

It doesn’t fade throughout the day, but I will say that it’s not waterproof and so any eye watering whatsoever will make it smudge. I won’t be permanently switching from my favorite liquid liner to this Maybelline one, but considering the much lower price point of this liner, I would gladly think about grabbing this instead in a pinch!.

I was beyond thrilled to have been selected to try this out! I know these eyeliners aren’t cheap, so I never splurge on things like this unless I see reviews etc. From the time I opened the product this was a mess.

I received Electric Empire, which has glitter of some sort in it. I also have hooded eyes, so having a colorful eyeliner vs fighting with eye shadow had me SO excited. as soon as I opened the product, the entire tip of the product snapped right off.

No way to sharpen, either, so I attempted what I could with what was barely left on the pencil. This was so easy to glide on first attempt, however without the point on the liner itself I can’t speak for creating fine lines etc with this pencil.

I was able to get enough product to halfway complete one eye. The color is a beautiful, mermaid teal/green/blue color with golden glitter. In different lighting it actually seems to color shift, and the pigment did pay off for sure.

The glitter, however, caused MAJOR fallout and glitter creasing due to my hooded eyes. Dry skin rubbing did not remove the product or smudge it, but the second my hand started to sweat, it smeared. In less than an hour.

For $23 USD a pencil, I was expecting quite a bit more out of this, like a sharpener built in, but its not. Yes, it was very easy to apply, but as I said, this formula is so creamy to spread/blend that it practically destroyed itself when I tried to swatch it.

It did have smooth application as claimed, vibrant color payoff as claimed, and cruelty free, but when it comes to lasting all day, smudge/waterproof, I don’t believe it’ll hold up on its own. Once again, the glitter fallout, that I still haven’t figured out how glitter is falling out of a cream pencil, is insane.

All over my face, hands, anything that came close to the pencil now has golden glitter. I truly don’t know on this product, especially for the price point. So excited to defeated right on camera for everyone to see.

I’d try to snag a travel size or a cheaper version before committing to the claims made for this product. It is very pretty, though!.

Absolutely love this eyeliner by Urban Decay and I always have one or two colors in my makeup bag! My go to color is the classic black (Perversion) and it really helps to make your eyes pop and makes your mascara look even bolder.

This pencil is super smooth and it glides on and blends effortlessly. The pigment is super vibrant and doesn’t dry out or crack after applying like some other pencil eyeliners out there. I usually used this eyeliner primarily on my waterline but switched to their Waterline Pencil for everyday use—however I still like to use this one when I want an even bolder look since it’s a bit thicker line.

If I want to use colored eyeliner, this is the brand I reach for and Goldmine is one of my faves. My only complaint with this eyeliner is that the cap somehow falls off quite often no matter how hard I press the cap down and the actual eyeliner falls out into my makeup bag.

I started having to put it in a separate baggy within my makeup bag to keep this from happening. Also, if you decide to purchase this eyeliner, do yourself a huge favor and make sure you also purchase their Grindhouse Eyeliner Pencil Sharpener, because you will not find another sharpener that will work and you’ll end up wasting a TON of product.

With Urban Decay’s sharpener, it’s super easy and you’re not wasting anything. Overall, I highly recommend this eyeliner. It’s high quality and it’s not too expensive. My favorite colors are the black and white version, along with Goldmine Try it out! :).

I highly recommend this product if you want to tight line and out product in you water line. This brand on eyeliners we’re designed to be worn on swimmers so it doesn’t smear or budge!! It’s a waterline wearers dream.

The color Ivy which is a burgundy purple which is prefect for brown eyes it just makes them stand out more than wearing a black eyeliner. These have a pencil sharpener attached to the bottom. One thing I can say is that it’s hard to get them perfectly sharpened but I’ve learned they don’t need to be too sharp because of how creamy they glide on.

The formula is for lovers of creamy, buildable, pigmented formulas. It’s like gel formula but a little thicker in a pencil easy to use form for people on the go. I highly recommend this product! I can’t wait to buy other colors, like Ebony which is a pretty shade of purple for brown eyes.

Did I mention I have brown eyes? Lol I’m interested in trying their lip pencils in the aqua formula as well!! I’m addicted to lip pencils! I bet they stay on forever. I like products that you don’t have to reapply and that don’t budge! I want something I do once and leave the house and finish my night and when I look in the mirror at night to wash my face the products still look perfect and this product is one of those products.

I’m sure the formula is great. But I wasn’t able to test is out until I completely destroyed the top plastic part with a regular sharpener like most phot reviewers here. I found that there is a built in sharpener at the bottom but it was already too late.

I already ripped through the plastic with my girl power. So then I can’t even apply the eyeliner without irritating my eye. They say with this new design, you ca create a winged tip every time by being able to sharpen it.

Well, I only tight line and don’t do winged tips. I find that with the new formula, it becomes dull too quickly. So that means I’d have to sharpen it more frequently. At least bring back the old style so customers have a choice between the two.

With your brand, I’m sure you’ll still make money even if you split your customer base.

ive been using this pencil since early high school (im 33) now. and i always ALWAYS come back to it. it truly is waterproof. (that being said it doesnt blend as well as other pencils but i usually use it to tightline my waterline).

i know its considered pricey for an eyeliner pencil but chanel is even more expensive and i think this works much better! plus you really can use it down to the nub! (which i have! it doesn’t glide on as easily when you’ve had it for a while but what product does?! and besides that color and staying power are still there) i like pairing this with nyx eyeliner in a dark brown color and smudge that out to get a “slept-in” look.

I wasn’t expecting great things as I’ve tried a lot of smudgy kohl liners that promise to set and last, and either never do, or involve a pot-based liner that will last but isn’t quick or convenient to apply.

But some CT products continue to surprise and impress me, much as I wish I could stay irritated at their very “young and perfect” models and marketing campaign that’s diverse in ethnicity but not by age at all! This lasted me all day through a morning puppy training class in the freezing cold (no streaky eyeliner here thank you!), cleaning the house, and a social dance class.

I’ll agree with everyone here – Barbarella brown is a very intense brown but that is exactly what I wanted. I wear foundation shades in Chantecaille (Shea) and Charlotte Tilbury 9W, and I can easily see a lovely rich smokey line that isn’t harsh.

I’m beginning to see why a lot of makeup artists suggest using rich brown liners after a certain age or to soften a smokey eye look for the day. I bought the black liner too, but will save that for evenings out.

I used to go to without thought black eyeliner…. This range is faultless best beginners eye liner stays on lash line…. Can make it as dramatic as you choose but this grey is my new black so much more interesting, less harsh but just as dark….

Think Charlotte Tilbury is fabulous beyond words to describe…. I was so overdue a rehash of my standard make up and brushes which I’ve stuck to same rules and limited colours for 20 years and this is in my 40s allowing me to feel better about creating distractions from my ever multiplying imperfections with the confidence a new look, colour or application technique can give you, I have countless wind up “no sharpener needed “ as since discovering rock and kohl and eye shadow pencils, I’d rather keep a few sharpeners handy and use these fixed in 30 seconds range eye make up….

no faults or improvements… recommend you try if your still using pen tip or wind up…. This is a new generation of pencil that didn’t exist when I was discovering make up!.

For me, eyeliner is a necessity to my makeup regime. I’ve always worn it in various colors over the years. Never been a fan of liquid liner, so I like the pencils as you can control the intensity and smudginess much better yourself.

They are softer. I like Charlotte’s Bedroom Black which is great, but very dramatic. But I love the Charcoal Grey, which, while quite dark on my fair skin hazel/green eyes, is less intense than black.

An easy hand and a good smudge brush make for a softer but still Smokey look. It’s very cool.

I’ve been wanting to try a shade of purple like this for a while. It seemed very pretty when swatched on my wrist, but it was a let down in real life. I had planned on wearing this on my waterline, but just couldn’t get it to glom on.

I thought that I’d try it on my upper lash line, but that was also a no-go. The color wasn’t vibrant enough, and I couldn’t really tell that it was plum. The description for this is “dark smoky plum” and it was very heavy on the smoky shade.

I also didn’t think that the retractable feature of this liner did much for me. The line wasn’t thin enough. I know this has a built-in sharpener, but I’ve always found those stubby sharpeners to be clumsy to use.

I usually like SC eyeliners.

I struggle with eyeliner application and choose a tight lining on the waterline approach and it looks best on me. which narrows the playing field with eyeliners. You have to find a waterproof gel that doesn’t transfer to your lower lash and end up all over the place in an hour.

The Sephora associate who helped me because they were out of the UD 24/7 told me about this hidden gem. She said she had always overlooked the Sephora brand, but has found so many good comparable items to prestige brands within the line.

Usually when I ask for help I get directed to prestige, and I was impressed with the helpful employee so I purchased it. She was right. this eyeliner is a gem! And for the price, you can’t beat it. I will be buying a couple of more colors to add my arsenal.

I’ve been looking for an eyeliner that stays on all day for awhile now. I’ve been using a Clinique eyeliner & it’s just ok. Decided to purchase this eyeliner because it said it was waterproof. I only line the top & bottom of my waterlines.

The top part goes on smoothly and stays on ok, but will eventually come off towards the corners. The bottom waterline always comes out too fat & clumpy so I have to fix it. After a few hours my bottom waterline will look like a raccoons eyes! I mainly sit at a desk for work so I’m not sweating or in an environment where my make up should be melting off.

This is worse than the Clinique liner. Guess you get what you pay for. Pretty disappointed with this product & will not purchase again. Still searching.

I’m a eyeliner junkie and like to try new ones all the time. My most loved one is the Maybelline Gigi Hadid gel pencil and that was limited edition and I stocked up a few when it went on sale and I’m on my last one and that made me go on a hunt to find the blackest most budge proof liner.

I read really good reviews about Inglot gel liner and they might crack and dry up in a few months but I have a solution for this, I have a Bobbi brown corrector case cleaned up and I get some in it and when I run out I will refill that way the actual product is not exposed to air as often and stays smooth longer.

I have to stay this is a wonderful liner almost HG status, I hear people rave about Maybelline and Loreal gel eyeliners and they do nothing for me, I always end up with Panda eyes and they aren’t as smooth.

I picked this up when Myer was having 20% off Inglot and it’s worth every penny. I find it doesn’t come off easily at the end of the night if you like to tight line with it and a heavy duty oil makeup remover is a must.

It’s extremely smooth and true dark black not sure if I have seen a darker black than this. I want to try MAC blacktrack next but I feel like it might not be as black as this one. I will come back and update this review if I try it.

I wear winged eyeliner pretty much every day and have since I was 15. I mean at least 5 days a week. I turned to this eyeliner because Nyx discontinued their Vinyl liner for reasons I can not comprehend as it was the perfect liner.

All the reviews say it’s the blackest eyeliner which is why I was drawn to it. I used an angled liner brush to apply it. Firstly, it is not east to apply. I’m saying this as a daily eyeliner wearer. It took me a good 10 mins to put on.

It dries down quick and then doesn’t budge. I powered through because it was very dark and I thought that it not moving boded well for staying power. However I wore it for one day at work – I sit at a desk btw, nothing strenuous – and by 5pm it had smudged all over my lids.

It had melted off just from the heat and oil of my skin from a normal day sitting at a desk in a cool office. What a waste. What’s annoying is I can’t return it so now I’m stuck with an eyeliner I really truly hate.

Would not recommend this for anyone who’s planning on wearing it for anything longer or more intense than a sit down dinner. It’s not worth the hype.

I wear winged liner pretty much every single day, and this gel liner is one of my go-to’s. There are some tricks to be aware of – if you’ve got hooded eyes you will want to prep your lid with primer and set it with powder before using this product, but the finish is perfect.

It’s matte, very black and has just the right amount of slip to make using the product a dream. I pair this with the MAC 210 for fine work, or a 209 if I’m looking to create a thicker cat eye. One of my holy grail products.

About 3 months ago I gave away thousands and thousands of dollars of makeup and skincare and started buying all Chanel products and it’s been the BEST decision that I’ve ever made in my beauty products.

This eyeliner is my most recent purchase and it’s amazing! It glides on so smoothly and stays put all day and does not run or smudge. I first bought Noir Intense and it’s as black as black can be! Very black! I returned it and bought Ébéne which is a beautiful black but not as bold as the first one I bought.

I can’t say enough about how amazing Chanel makeup and skincare products are. It’s so beautiful and good for your skin and lasts. I highly recommend Chanel. I’m 48 and I’ve tried about all high end brands and nothing compares to Chanel.

Try many eyeliners from drugstore and some branded eyeliner. From gel to pencil and liquid. This one is the only one I’m going back too. I have sensitive eyes and this comfortable for all day long. Glide smooth on tight eyelashes line and easy to create those winging lines on hooded eyes.

The price is higher than others but you always got what you paid for. tips: twist the pencil enough for one eye line at a time so it won’t dry. If it’s dry or you want to get that corner wing on one strike, use paper towel and draw a line on it 1st.

It will help the pencil smooth glide and sharp.

These eyeliners are simply the best. They apply on so smoothly and the colors are perfect. My favorite is Espresso and I’ve been using it for years. Recently I started to branch out and try other colors.

I’ve purchased other brands every now and then, but really, there’s no point. They’re either cheaper and the quality not as good, or more expensive and the quality is the same as Chanel. So no thank you, I’ll just stay with my perfect Chanel eyeliners.

I absolutely love this eyeliner, so much that I purchased 3 colours of it, the Jet Black, Deep Burgundy, and Rich Brown. What I like about this eyeliner is the richness of colour that it has, it glides on so smoothly and gives my eyes a pop of gorgeous colour.

I’ve tried many eyeliners but unfortunately, many of them are dry. The only downfall with this eyeliner is that it fades off during the day, maybe it’s because I have oiler eyelids, so reapplication during the day is a must, for me at least.

Otherwise, it’s a great product! :).

I was so excited when I applied this liner. It was the perfect subtle plum color, which is hard to find (especially in a matte non-shimmery finish). It applied easily. It was sharp enough to get a nice fine line, and then fill in for more intensity.

The sponge tip smudged the top line for a blended look. It felt like it was a good quality sponge that would last the life of the pencil (unlike some I’ve had that fell off). To me this performed as well as any high end department store pencil that I’ve used in the past before developing allergic reactions and before switching to clean cosmetics.

Because of it’s performance, beautiful color, and good value for the price, I am giving this five stars. Unfortunately I had an allergic reaction a couple hours after applying this. However, over the past year I seem to have developed a reaction to every pencil I’ve tried.

I used to be able to use any eye product, but now I struggle to find anything I can use close to my eyes. This is not specific to this formulation so I don’t see it as a reflection on this liner. Most users would probably very much enjoy this product.

I loved this, colour is great, glides on and love wee smudger on the end. BUT! not in the slightest bit smudge proof or waterproof. Even with setting powder on my eyelids it was coming off. Within an hour it’s pretty much completely gone.

I’ve been using this liner for years. I loved everything about it. Something has changed! it’s hard to apply, not smooth, it’s like wax. Very little product , liner breaks off easily. I bought the package with two thinking I was getting a good deal, the second liner didn’t work, wouldn’t advance the liner, I finally got it to work right, used it twice and then it was empty! I don’t know what cover girl did to my favorite eye liner but I won’t buy it again! My daughter told me the same thing about the way the liner is so different.

we had the same complaints and prior to that conversation we didn’t talk about the liner. But she had the same feelings as I did. if this eye liner would work like it used to, I’d recommend it. But not now.

I have been using the Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner pencil for years. It glides on easily, stays on all day, and doesn’t run. I love not having to sharpen this pencil. I would have given five stars, but I do not care for the smudging tool.

It falls off when used and doesn’t blend well. However, I love the blending tool of CoverGirl’s Perfect Blend pencil. With both of these products, I get the look I want. If CoverGirl people are reading this, they could actually come up with one perfect eyeliner by combining the Perfect Point with the Perfect Blend smudging tool.

I bought this eyeliner as a two pack and paid around $10. In my opinion, it’s very hard to use. In order to keep the tip from crumbling off, it needs to be so low to the pencil that the plastic starts to scrape the eyelid as I’m finishing.

Not sure if my pencils were old or the actual makeup inside the tube was hollow…it just crumbles way too easily (and a crumbling soft black material is awful when it lands on your clothes or carpet and you can barely see it to pick it up!!) and both pencils have the same problem.

I’ve used many types of pencils and have never had this experience. I’ll use them up because I’m a cheapskate but I use far too many shameful words as I’m putting this stuff on!.

I only used this once and found it okay but wasn’t overly impressed with precision. I took it on holiday last week involving a short plane flight, car journey but somewhere cooler than London has been.

For the price, it’s no better than a cheaper Boots or Avon equivalent, in fact it’s not as good. The top came off in my makeup bag and made a horrible mess and I think I had put it back on properly. I tidied it up and tried to use it but it obviously does not react well to warm temperatures and half of the product was lost before I started.

It’s easy to apply obviously, though no precision at all as it’s too soft. It is definitely not ‘micro-precision Eyeliner’ unless maybe you can keep it in a refrigerator. Would not buy this again.

I am makeup “challenged”. I have never been good at all of the tricks and I have a very natural look. I love this eyeliner – for me it works. I have hooded eyes and I am in my 50’s. I love the fine line because it allows my eyes to look more open.

It glides on and stays on. The main reason I love it is because the plum color is softer than black and a bit more soft than brown but still pops and looks like eyeliner. Every other micro eyeliner I have ever tried breaks when applying and this one does it less than any other I have tried.

It is creamy and doesn’t make too much friction when applying I think that’s why it doesn’t break as much. Ordering another today!!!!.

I love this eyeliner. It is so milky and smooth, like gel or liquid, but you keep the same look as pencil. You can have a little or a lot. It’s like you just opened a new Urban Decay stick every day, except with added precision.

It hasn’t dried out in almost 3 months of use, which I can’t say about other pencils, which start to get chalky after a while. My favorite eyeliner. Those in the reviews complaining that the pencil doesn’t retract — adapt and move on.

You don’t need the tip of the eyeliner to be an inch to apply it. Just twist a little bit and only use what you need!.

Let me preface this by saying that I have been using this to draw the wing or flick of my eyeliner ONLY, and always draw that first, going backward from the outside in. I use the regular sized liquid liner to trace my lash line and fill in/connect to the wing.

This was fantastic for around 10 uses for the wing alone. However, I have the same issue that I had with the regular size eyeliner where it runs out way too fast. I have other liquid liners that I used daily for well over a month before it showed signs of running out.

I store all of these horizontally, always securely apply the cap immediately. However, inevitably, the tip starts to fray when I use exclusively with Glam Attack liquid shimmer eyeshadows, and the eyeliner liquid starts to fade/leave uneven coverage or is running dry after a couple of weeks.

I would expect this if I was fully lining my eyes, but I am literally drawing a modest wing, before shifting to the other liner pen. I want to love these, PLEASE increase the lifespan of your liquid liners! I literally buy every item you release and am a huge fan, but always end up having to go back to another brand of liquid liner that lasts longer, from a product quantity perspective.

For the price point, I do expect the same amount of use that I get from other popular brands. When newer and applied, the liner does have staying power, smooth glide and great coverage.

Saw ad for this on IG and was skeptical but gave it a try. Packaging is really nice. The pigment is very bold and stays that way throughout the day. The line holds and stays put, hardly ever smears, doesn’t flake off or run.

The only issue I have is that I could not tell in the ad I saw that it was felt tip. I have never been that fond of felt too liners. The ad makes this thing look the the lines are SUPER crisp and flexible but that’s not the case (in my opinion).

I found the felt tip didn’t give anywhere near as sharp a line as the micro-fine brush tip liner I typically use and didn’t have much flexibility. But it’s still a pretty impressive liner.

I have used many liquid eyeliners, and this one really disappointed me. I read rave reviews about it and expected better. I don’t know if I got a defective product or what, but nothing even comes out of the tip of the eyeliner.

It’s just dry. I reached out to Haus and they told me to store it upside-down. I did. Still nothing coming out of the tip lol. You have to press super hard to get anything out, which doesn’t let you draw on the liner precisely.

The one good thing is that it lasts really long! But that doesn’t really matter if it applies horribly. I will never buy this again and tbh would save your money as this wasn’t even as good for me as drugstore options I’ve tried.

I received this product from Sephora Collection in exchange for my honest review. I have always tossed back and fourth with wearing eyeliner when i apply makeup. I have big eyes and love to highlight that feature of my face when wearing mascara, but I love the way my eyes look even more now that I’ve been using this eyeliner.

The tiramisu shade compliments my brown eyes so well and gives me a subtle, smudged eye look when I blend out the eyeliner on my eyes. I also love that this product is waterproof; you never know when you’re going to cry, right?! This product was also really easy for me to take off when removing makeup – I know that waterproof items are a little bit more of a hassle sometimes, which shows that the product really works, but this product was so easy to take off and was not harmful in any way to my eye area when removing the product.

since its such a sensitive area of my face. I love the price too – this will last me awhile and I will definitely be re-purchasing. I’m also really interested in experimenting with some of the other fun shades that would compliment my eyes well.

These eyeliners are surprisingly good! I’ve been looking for eyeliners that don’t smudge on me, and I’ve tried MUF/ Charlotte Tilbury. etc, they just didn’t work for me. I saw these in the store, and I thought since they are only half of price of the high end brands, I might as well as give they a try.

I bought 4 different brownish colours, and I’m amazed! They don’t smudge on me, go on easily without dragging my eyelids. Apply beautiful and easy to blend, if you are doing a smokey eyelook. Once it is set, it is set.

It stays on whole day on my upper eyelids, and fades out gradually with smudging on my waterlines. Love that there are so many choices of colours without hurting your wallet too much. These are really great eyeliners, and I am surely coming back for more colours if I want to expand my eyeliner collection.

I got these as a cheap replacement to my Holy Grail Clinique Quickliner Intense in Chocolate. These got good reviews and I don’t like to spend a lot on eyeliner. I have somewhat oily lids and need a pencil that will apply easily and stay put for the day, but I also prefer a tightline that is thin and blends well into the lashes, versus something more obvious.

These pencils are very good, but not the easiest to work with. My chief complaint is that the formula is just too soft. It glides on easily, but almost too easily. Because of this, it’s a bit harder to be precise and apply a thin line.

It does blend out easily and seems to last really well, but it’s not as good as my HG, unfortunately. I’ll definitely use this up, but I’m going to look elsewhere.

I’ve bought this eyeliner pen a couple times now. I’ve mastered doing my own wing liner so I never really used the stencil but I did try it out for fun, and it didn’t go well haha. The product itself though is nice, glides in well and I like brush tips as they often don’t get dull.

When they do you can push the bristles back into place. The pen itself doesn’t dry up too easily on me and lasts me a good while. I can get pretty oily eyelids on some days and while the product doesn’t last 12 hours, it stays on well enough that it doesn’t look like a mess.

It doesn’t come off very easily if you cry a little bit without rubbing your eyes too which I like since I cry a lot:) also it doesn’t budge very easily either, when it does it sort of crumbles. If you don’t like crumbly eyeliner maybe you won’t like this.

The colour is also jet black too which is great. Overall, I would say it’s worth a try. Pretty decent for a drugstore eyeliner but if you can do your wing without aid the stencil is a bit useless.

I was so excited about the stencil, hoping that I could finally master a beautiful cat-eye. It turns out that it was not much help for me though, I just could not get the lines even on both eyes. When I discarded the stencil, I did so much better.

The liner itself was really thin making it easy to use but on the other hand, it was so unforgiving with any mistakes (good for confident make up artists). The colour of the liner was the blackest of black! I have sensitive eyes and I was happy to notice that it did not irritate the tender skin around my eyes.

It was easily removable with makeup remover, no excessive rubbing was needed. The packaging is cool and stylish!.

This liner is just a dream come true – easy to apply, super waterproof and that wing attachment really takes it a mile further in awesomeness. \nI have always been a fan of liquid liners with thin brushes for the kind of precision they can provide but while using it, I always manage to get too much liquid on my lashes and make a mess.

Felt tip liners are less messy but also less precise and not as smooth. \nThis one has none of those cons. The brush is so beautiful, you can make thin to thick lines however you like with less than half the effort.

The color is a beautiful dark black that isn’t too harsh. The ink is quite thin in consistency but has such a beautiful flow that creates a smooth flawless line and dries up quickly. I had my doubts about the wing attachment but that works as well – it really makes creating a winged look super easy and much less confusing.

This bold wings were totally out of my comfort zone but once tried, I realized how awesome it looks – dramatic but definitely not over the top. \nDefinitely the kind of eyeliner that makes me want to let go off all others (except kohl for smokey eyes) and add to repurchase list.

I couldn’t love the texture and color of this more. I am in love. The color is vibrant and the smudging is sexy and smoky. So why 2 stars? I used the “built in sharpener” and it destroyed the pencil.

Maybe this needs to go in the freezer before sharpening, but the pencil is so soft (which is why it is so gorgeous), that it can not be sharpened with the junky sharpener included. So save yourself the heartbreak.

I have no idea how to sharpen it-and Shishedo’s “How To” YouTubes are less than worthless. Buy this is you love smudgy liner, do not buy it if you want a thick precise line.

The quality of the pencil is great. It is long-lasting, glides on smoothly and looks intense. However, I felt that the green was really quite dark, even in bright light and natural sunlight it looks more like a very dark pine green that is little different from anthracite grey, so not as vibrantly green as shown in photos here.

For reference, my skin tone and eye colour are very similar to the model’s who wears this as an eyeliner in one of the photos. I bought this pencil because of what I thought the colour would be so am a bit disappointed.

However, I’d recommend this for the quality and would be open to trying it in other shades.

When the Tea House came in stock I could not buy it fast enough! It is my absolute go to-favorite, favorite brown color. ~ I have been using these since they came out. I have use the Plum Blossom, Birodo Green … which I love and layer with the Plum Blossom sometimes, and Kabuki White, Sumi Sky and Gunjo Blue.

I love the texture and the blend ability. ~ The critiques of not being able to get it back to a point with the “sharpener” are true, but I work with it to get the look I want, and use the smudge tip just fine.

Honestly, I will cry if they discontinue Tea House. It really is the perfect brown color for my blue eyes.
