The attachments all fit tight and are easy to change. The charging cable is a little difficult to connect to the trimmer and there is no way to know if you are inserting it correctly, but once you get it connected it works fine.

It may loosen up a little after repeated use. I love the rechargeable feature as batteries go out unexpectedly and cost more now. I wish the cable would tell you when the unit is fully charged. I have only used it once, but it seems very nice and removes nose hairs without pulling.

I just recieved the Remington Virtually Indestructible Nose, Ear & Brow Trimmer, and I was immediately impressed with the build quality. Having used a similar trimmer from another company for the last several years, I was impressed with the feel of the Remington in your hand, it’s solid.

I like the fact that this unit is waterproof and can be used in the shower if i chose to do so. The trimmer attachment is nice but I doubt I’ll ever use it. I shave my head and other than a few unruly hairs around the top of my ears I don’t see that I would have need for it, but that could change.

The power switch placement is built into the battery compartment lid instead of on the side of the unit. This was a problem with my previous devices as it would sometimes turn on easily when putting it away.

The Remington will not have that issue. My only issue with this type of switch is its easy to turn it to far and the lid actually open. This could be a a bad thing if you’re using it in the shower. My old unit would last about 6 to 8 uses before the AA battery was shot, and a good thick nose hair would often seize the motor.

I’m betting I would go through a battery a month with my old unit. The Remington however, seems to have a healthy motor cutting through nose hair like a weed wacker on steroids. Battery life remains to be seen, as I’ve only used it twice.

Over all, I’m quite impressed. Is it perfect? Darn near it. I’m giving it 4 stars for the battery compartment/switch issue I identified, other than that it’s a great unit.

I found that this trimmer works very well and I’m very pleased with the product. It’s a very good value and operates better than another trimmer I purchased a few years back (and which cost more!) I’ve used it to trim ear and nose hair and to trim my eyebrows and it worked very, very well.

The very first thing that I noticed about the Virtually Indestructible Nose, Ear & Brow Trimmer from Remington is washout System that’s connected to the blades. It’s designed to make cleaning the blades easy.

I appreciated that feature because I HATE CLEANING THE BLADES!! It’s pretty precise when it comes to cutting. It’s easy to use and does the job well. I do have a few issues with it. Without reading the instructions it took me a little while to figure out how to turn it on.

I’m used to trimmers having on/off buttons. This does not. You have to turn the bottom of the trimmer in order for it to power on. You also do this to put the battery in. My biggest issue with this is the noise level.

It’s pretty loud. Especially when you connect the nose hair attachment. If the noise isn’t a problem for you, then I would recommend this product.

Nothing to dislike about this product, priced right, does what its supposed to do. Its mostly all plastic but one has to understand the low price. The best part about this is it works on a standard battery.

Its ridiculous that some of these devices now require you to charge the device up before using. I much rather have a battery that gets replaced once or twice a year on a device that is not used frequently.

It is quite noisy but, it doesnt what it is supposed to do quite well. I suspect the noise is due to the fact that its very powerful.

It arrived damaged. Seems rather cheaply made. Tried to fix the damage ourselves and only made it worse. I advise spending a little extra $ on a better made product. Walmart refunded my $ no hassle and I am putting it towards a little more expensive and higher quality item.

The brand name is trusted but I guess you do get what you paid for.

This trimmer is somewhat loud compared to other personal trimmers I’ve used. Since this is a Wahl product I expected a little more quality not only in the design but also in the performance. The ear/nose trimmer head doesn’t do the job that I expected it to do, but I do like that it has a few different heads for different trimming needs.

I’ve been using the older version of this product (NT3160/10) for a few years and absolutely love it. It cuts close to the skin without pulling hair. This newer version has ended up pulling hair and left me with a sore nose.

The guard also prevents hair from actually getting cut, I have to run it over the area multiple times. With the previous model, the large eyebrow attachment gave me perfect result. With this version, I have to use the smaller attachment and even then it doesn’t do much unless I spend a few minutes rubbing the trimmer head on my eyebrows.

Don’t understand why Philips felt the need to ‘fix’ something that wasn’t broken. Please consider bringing the older version back. Also not sure why you’d want two trimmers in opposite directions.

Bought few months ago and very pleased. Great design making it easy to hold when shaving different areas of the body. Shaver is quieter then expected and the quality of shave is very impressive. Not used in shower as a wet shaver but that is purely because I’ve never been one to shave in shower.

Like the easy clean too so overall a great product whether new to shaving or need a solid shaver as a replacement.

Like some other reviewers I had an older Philips model which I was very happy with. However, the eyebrow trimmer guards both broke so I had to buy a new model. At first I was very disappointed with the performance on eyebrows but then I realised that I was using it wrong! With my old model you ran the guards flat along the eyebrow but on the new model you run them on edge.

If you do this they will work just as well as the old model.

I used to have a really mediocre nose trimmer. It felt and knew it wouldn’t last long and broke within a few uses. But right out of the box, this Panasonic nose trimmer felt so much more amazing in the hand and pretty good quality.

After my first use, I have to say I could tell this thing will last me a while. I really like the vacuuming feature! I really recommend this trimmer if you’re upgrading from a really lower end nose trimmer.

I have owned this trimmer for just about a year and am still pleased with it. The only thing I wish could be improved is the speed of the trim. My cheap, discarded, $10 nose hair trimmer cut much quicker, but would often nick the inside of my nares.

I have not once been nicked by this trimmer. I’m not sure this thing even trims your nose hair, I think it simply rearranges it. It certainly makes a lot of noise when it’s in your nostrils, and after a few seconds you might smell something that resembles smoke.

When you pull it out, you’re likely not going to see any fewer hairs. Also, it’s a battery killer. You’re likely if you get two or three uses out of it before you need to replace its AA. It comes with a cute little fabric case, though, so that’s something I guess.

I am more than pleased with the job it does. Better that what I expected. It trims it close and evenly. The only con I have is the manual that came with it. One of the worse I’ve seen. No instructions on how to break it apart to use or anything else.

Fortunately I have a engineer friend who figured it out. A person could easily damage the trimmer trying to figure it out. Also no clear instructions on charging the battery. When is it fully charged? Does the red light go off or turn to green or what? The owner manual could really be improved on.

But once you figure it out it does an outstanding job and I would recommend it.

Buyer beware. Most of the products I’ve bought from Alpha and Pete and Pedro have been spectacular. Unfortunately I just can’t get behind this one. It just doesn’t cut. Maybe I got a defect(?) who knows, but my Wahl trimmer eliminates all of my unwanted hair and this one just doesn’t measure up.

This Remington trimmer is very inexpensive and for a good reason. It’s very flimsy and does not have much power even with good brand new batteries. I purchased this online last year and had to return it 2 times because the first one simply didn’t work at all, then the second one worked for 2 uses then stopped working.

After that I gave up and just bought a different brand. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. There are several better brands that are just as affordable.

As soon as I took this product out of the box I could tell it was high quality. I have owned several other nose hair trimmers and grooming combos over the years. They usually last about 3-6 months before they start to malfunction or just stop working.

I bought this as a rechargeable nose hair trimmer because I’m tired of spending money on batteries. It does a very fine job on nose and ear hair. The accessories were thought to be a bonus but 2 of the 4 attachments are pointless for me.

The eyebrow trimmer doesn’t work on thick diameter hair. The guides are way too narrow to accommodate them. Trash! The foil razor. same issue. thick diameter whiskers won’t fit. But you’ll also find that the blades don’t move fast enough efficiently cut, unless you have the time to sit around.

It would be like mowing the lawn with scissors. I tried it on the sideburns too. Hairs have less diameter there. It works, but it struggled to do it efficiently. The blades just don’t move fast enough.

BUT IT DOES DO A GREAT JOB ON NOSE AND EAR HAIR without having to buy batteries. That alone makes the price point well worth it.

I gotta say I’ve used quite a few of these type of trimmers, usually battery powered and it seems within a few months they just quit working ( even with fresh batteries). I decided to try the USB charger type.

I can’t rave enough about this item. 1). It’s simple to use. 2) it’s small 3. ) It holds a charge for days. so far. 4. ) And above all it really packs a punch, it is very strong. I’m sure this won’t last me forever but I would purchase another one when needed in the future.

Great motor, great battery life, but doesn’t cut nose hair. Contacted Phillips, who offered me 10% buying something better. Haven’t bought anything Phillips for years, won’t do so ever again. Going back to Braun.

Norelco NT3600/42 Nose Trimmer 3000 Nose, Ears and Brows trimmer is very inexpensive. Build quality seems adequate. Plastic body has some texture for better grip. Item is not too loud to operate. It is easy to sanitize the trimmer.

Nose hair can be cut by either regular Trimming Head or by using included Rotary Trimmer. Switching between heads is easy, via a simple twist on/off mechanism. The trimming head cuts nose/ear hair with ease.

It has never pinched me. Great design. The rotary trimmer works well too. To trim the eyebrows, simply slide one of the two attachments over the trimming head. For the price, this is a great trimmer.

Remember the scene where Dan Akroyd “shaved his nose hairs” in the movie The Great Outdoors? Yes this man is at that age. I have no hair on my head, as it fell off there to my chest and back. Oh and my nose and ears.

I’m glad to recommend this to fellow cavemen. You can use this to trim your eyebrows as needed. Obviously not for beards. Yet this one is great at what it does. Reliable, easy to use, and it really does get rid of unwanted hairs growing from strange places.

I just bought my second Wahl Nose Hair Trimmer. I use it on my nose, my ears, eyebrows, sideburns, and any place where I need it. My first one lasted for about a decade, but considering the cost, it was a huge bargain.

The on/off switch finally failed or I would still be using it! I took it apart after it failed, and found the motor still spun, the cutters were still OK, there was no corrosion, the insides were as good as new, but the switch just wore out.

My regular shaver is also a Wahl, and I have found their products to be really good. It is wonderful to be able to cut down those errant and obnoxious hairs, and then while it’s still running, just rinse the cutting tip under the faucet with the cutting end pointed down to keep water from getting into the trimmer and to the motor.

I then turn it off and dry the end with a towel, put on the little protector tip, and dump it back in the bathroom drawer. The replaceable battery lasts for months because it doesn’t take too long to do the trimming.

At such a low price, this thing is a bargain, and it does a great job with no fuss. I like it, and recommend it to you with no reservations. So, it is inexpensive to buy and operate, reliable, and effective.

JUNK. Just a piece of JUNK. Just barely works at all. I have a pair of regular size Wahl hair clippers, and that works great. I thought that this would be another good quality Wahl product, but it is not.

This trimmer works well. It is sharp so that it cuts hair and does not pull it. I like the two settings, one always on the other activated when depressed. Good value, so far, I would by it again and recommend it to a friend.

Had the same brand for 10 years which still worked but the connections for the battery corroded over the years of getting wet. Decided stick to the same brand and type, this is updated since my last one.

It’s very quiet and when cutting at first I thought it wasn’t working. But it was and well, can’t feel anything, maybe with fresh blades vs the old clunker! Easy to remove the top to clean it. I expect this will last a while like the last one.

Really, for the price, it’s a great buy. Small and easy to grab and do maintenance on the schnoz with.

Handy little device if you’re looking for short, quick trims, such as 5 minutes or less. Mainly because the hand may get tired of holding the device upwards for longer. Even though the grip is comfortable and small, it feels on the bulky side.

The blades must be really sharp as the performance on nose hair and eyebrows was excellent (there was some fear of pulling initially but it worked fine). Worry not if you’re a bit unsure of how to use it such as the suggested direction of trimming – it’s all in the instructions.

Cleaning is very easy too – a quick rinse of the blade tip under the tap and done (we haven’t tried to submerge the whole device, for example, in shower). The trimmer is portable and battery operated, and has a smart design – as expected of Philips.

I would only suggest the manufacturer to consider a more eco friendly packaging and that’s all. Happy with our trimmer, hope it lasts a good while!.

when i saw this newer version i was eager to get to use it. unfortunately it didn’t live up to my expectations. I even had to return my original purchase, thinking it was faulty! To my disappointment, the exchanged product arrived and I experienced the same.

It is useless cutting and trimming and although the new design is a positive, the rest doesn’t come close to its predecessors. i shall be sticking to its older version from now! Extremely disappointed.

I actually like this trimmer for the most part. I like the blade design better than my old rotary trimmer (from another manufacturer) because it offers more flexibility. For example, this Remington trimmer not only works great on nose hair and eyebrows, but it does a fabulous job of trimming the hair that grows on the outer edges of my ears (I call them “eards”).

It’s more like a miniature electric razor and I really like that. This trimmer also seems to be built really well and is super easy to clean. So you’re probably wondering why I gave it a 3-star rating.

The reason for the lower rating has to do with how you turn this trimmer’s power on. Instead of a power button that you push or slide, you turn this trimmer on/off by twisting the bottom of it. For most people, that wouldn’t be a problem.

But for someone like me, who has arthritis in both hands and wrists, the simple twisting action is at times difficult and painful. So even though the trimmer works pretty darn well, I had to dock my own personal rating of it because of this one design issue.

This should be a great trimmer in every way for most people. I just wish it was easier to turn on and off.

The size is perfect, not too wide which makes it easy to hold. It’s not loud when in use. It trims the nose hairs quickly. The eyebrow comb is nice to have. As far as using it as detail trimmer it too is easy to handle and it works well.

It is battery operated therefore no cord to have to worry about. It’s easy to clean. While the blades are under running water you need to press on the water drop symbol on the handle to separate the blades to get a better clean.

This particular model can be used while in the shower but I personally preferred not to. The only thing that I found I didn’t like was after inserting the battery you must be careful not to turn the base too much otherwise it doesn’t lock and it remains open.

It must be turned SLOWLY 1/4 inch clockwise for it to lock. I would recommend this product to family and friends.

Was looking for a Ladies Nosehair Trimmer, but I guess this works well enough. It really should come with a carrying case so you can keep things together and take on the go. and a little brush for cleaning the shavings from the heads would be nice.

Wish the the radial nosehair trimmer had a smaller narrower end, because this one is rather large for my nostrils. I need to reach the hairs that show up inside a ways but are visible up close. Ucky.

If you’re reading this I want you to know I’ve had my Trimmer for 3 yrs! Great product! Why would I put this in the bad rating category? So you would read it! If your trimmer stops working – make sure your battery is still good – then turn on the trimmer, take your fingers and wiggle the head.

It turns back on. My does this all the time. Hair may impede the vibration of the head. But I have never had issues with my trimmer! NE3250.

The NE3250 works ok for me. The round metal attachment only works on fine hair, didnt work well on my nose or ear hair. The purple or blue trimmer attachment worked ok for coarser nose and ear hair, but wont work on thick hair like sideburns.

I found the eyebrow comb to be somewhat useless. Using one AA battery, this trimmer is a bit underpowered but it gets the job done. The attachment heads do clog up sometimes and need to be rinsed with the trimmer turned off.

I would recommend this if you need a trimmer for short term or travel, but use something better for average day to day.

Another great value. I bought this for my BF who had another brand of trimmers. He likes it. It is different style from what he had but works just fine.

I’m not totally new to nasal hair clippers, but my experience hasn’t been great. The last one I had, about 2 years ago, essentially ripped the hairs out and was more painful than my fingers-based approach.

This one, however, is a revelation. This seems to be one of the essential grooming accessories that you need as you get past a certain age. I say that I am not losing my hair, but it is just ingrown and coming out of my nose and ears instead.

The Philips Nose, ear & eyebrow trimmer does an excellent job in keeping my nose and ear hair at bay. The trimmer is compact and neat; the blade tips smooth and angled as to make trimming smooth and without nicks.

The carry pouch is good for keeping everything together.

At first I was a bit apprehensive due to the size and thinking would it be powerful but after using this for a while it’s fantastic. Although there was battery available I still full charged it before using.

The device fits well in the hand and makes movement easy particularly when doing the beard and side burns. I found this better to use than a shaver due to the technology it has which prevents the pulling of skin and cuts.

The way the design is for this product it makes it so much easier to reach the hair inside my nose and ears I was a bit nervous at first to do the eyebrows but after a bit of practice I now use this to tidy up any strays.

The size makes it easy for carry around especially when away from home. Highly recommend this.

PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY PN THIS OVER-PRICED, USELESS PIECE OF JUNK. Bought as an ear-hair trimmer, this item just doesn’t work. I don’t mean that it is bad at cutting ear-hair because it’s not bad, it’s completely useless, it doesn’t work at all.

Not a single hair cut. It’s the bad that, after buying this item, I would never buy another Phillips branded product again. Its simply awful.

PRO: Good price and overall value. Works great. It’s my first trimmer so I have nothing to compare it to. Nice and light. I didn’t know at the time I purchased it that this particular model version didn’t come with a case.

If you get one, make sure the model you get includes a case. There are many with the same model number but some come with a case and some don’t. CON: There’s no place for me to store the attachments after taking them out of the packaging material.

And I don’t want to keep putting it back into the plastic packaging and box it came in time and time again. I should of known. Lower price = no case = inconvenience for storing.

I got a Elle Painless Eyebrow Hair Trimmer for trimming my eyebrows and I used it. It was the first time I’ve ever used a eyebrow painless trimmer and I have to say that I was very pleased with the results! It was painless which I liked.

I felt no pain what so ever while using either. I also use it to shape my eyebrows too which it does a good job! It’s compact and portable which makes it easy to take with you while traveling. It also has a built in light for complete control.

I love the sleek and beautiful design! It’s lightweight and a good size. I’ve never used an eyebrow trimmer before and I was a little intimidated by it. I finally went for it and I was pleasantly surprised that it was not as scary as I thought it would be.

When I first turned it on it sounded very powerful but it didn’t hurt at all. I do need to practice using it because my eyebrows didn’t come out quite how I imagined and I did have to back track a few times but it did trim them.

There is nothing negative that I can say about this trimmer! For the price, I really wasn’t expecting too much, but was I ever amazed at how well it works!!! I have a multi trimmer and it does well on edging my mustache or goatee, but the nose hair trimmer just buzzed and cut absolutely NOTHING.

But I took this trimmer and immediately it trimmed my nose hairs and I’m way more than pleased! I really can’t say enough good things about it. Lightweight, easy to hold but most of all it does what it is designed to do.

The Philips Precision Trimmer comes in a nice small box- fitting for a small device, since I was genuinely worried that it may come in a some sort of large and bulky and completely unnecessary packaging.

The device itself resembles a nice pen, therefore, not big, and very comfortable to hold in one’s hand. It is powered by a single AAA battery and comes with a cleaning brush and a precision attachment.

The instructions on the box are given in a super simple picture format, therefore I had no questions on how to use the product. Once turned on, the trimmer emits a gentle (at least to me) buzzing noise- as you would expect- without giving me any fear that it will cause me any discomfort.

I am a female with a tendency to have somewhat prominent hairs above the top lip, therefore, I was really excited to try out the trimmer. It glided through my face with ease and actually removed more ‘fuzz’ than I knew I had.

Also, I have a medium sized mole/bump on my face too and I did not feel like that got in the way at all. The only minuscule issue I had was the eyebrow trimming/shaping. I have added the attachment but don’t believe I have achieved much of the precision I was hoping for, since I was just too worried to go anywhere too close and make any mistakes.

I use this product mainly to keep my eyebrows in shape between threading visits, and so far so good. I have quite thick long eyebrow hair, and by using the shorter attachment, they keep them at a perfect length.

I dont have much facial hair therefore it has actually saved me money in the long run as I dont have it professionally done now as it gives me the same results.
