This product has a fatal flaw – the receptacle blades are too close together. This means that you can only use one of the two outlets, because another two/three prong plug will not have enough room to fit next to the other outlet.

It’s crazy that this product was made, and then is sold in the US, with such an obvious flaw. Look at the photograph of the product and you can see how close together the receptacles are. After trying to plug in two two-prong outlets that were not bulky and seeing that you could not place two outlets side-by-side, I returned it.

Lots of nice touches in this extension cord. Full 10’ when 6’ is not enough. Fast USB charging ports with space saving flat plug. All fittings snug. Only 16AWG wire but attractive outer sheathing. No spec on package as to level of surge protection.

I bought a few of these and am finding them very handy around the house. Spare outlets and a couple solid USB ports, along with a very long cable. I prefer plastic cords to the weave (because of cleaning) but minor squabble.

They are compact and look nice.

This is like the best of all worlds. The regular surge protector was too clunky and the cord was never long enough. This has just enough outlets, the cord blends in nicely w decor and the USBs are the icing on the cake.

When you have things plugged in already, sometimes there’s not room for another thing to plug in. But to simply slip something into the USB spot? Not a problem.

I only have one plug close by my nightstand and it’s behind the bed so my charger cord wouldn’t reach. With this I have a way to charge both devices within easy reach. It was just what needed. Just a safety reminder to all: NEVER leave your chargers for any device plugged in.

Unplug them when you’re done! I know from personal experience that chargers can get hot and cause a house fire. Not something you want to experience, trust me! With this extension in plain site I unplug my charger first thing every morning.

I have two devices that I keep charged all the time, a set of Sony headphones and my iPhone. I used one brick plug for years to swap these USB devices. With this extension, I now have two USBs and a standard plug which makes this so much easier.

Worst invention on the market. Not even a one shot wonder. Does not even clamp securely. When attempting to sharpen, chain starts to cut into surrounding plastic of device. At least it is only a ten dollar sub standard device.

Best advise is to throw it away and use a hand file. Even that will work better than this gizmo does. If it sounds too good to be true, then that is usually the case.

A good idea but it’s junk. The lock didn’t work so the housing wouldn’t stay shut. The grinding stone wioudn’t stay in its very inadequate holder. And as advertized, you’ll most likely have to drill another hole if the saw bar just to get the bar to fit into the housing.

Just buy a real sharpener. This item should get zero stars!.

bought these to power my wife’s heated vest and jackets, these units you have to turn on and watch the lights and then plug in vest and jackets into them. My wife use’s her jacket and vests all day to keep her warm.

these batteries power them all day on medium a full 10 hours before the batteries are fully discharged, it’s awesome and they are small enough she can carry a spare.

Thick cord, great child safety, reassuring red lights and solidly constructed. I am using this to supply power to all the devices in a media cart/ amplifier in my office and it is fulfilling its duties with aplomb.

Even when the lights are down, I can easily find the breaker switch to kill the power to all the devices connected due to the lighted switch. The usb’s are great for charging phones or tablets or even game controllers.

The thick cord makes me feel comfortable with its ability to draw all the amperage needed for when I turn the volume up! I am also secure in knowing my stuff will not fry in the event of a power surge due to meteorological events.

Bought for shop area, easy to hang, having multiple plugs helps greatly with various projects and tools and love having the USB ports. Check cord length, this one I believe is 4 feet so it was a stretch to reach our outlet.

Item looks to be fine BUT the shipper put the PRODUCT DESCRIPTION ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PACKAGE ENVELOPE ! What were ya’ll thinking putting the item description on a packing slip sticker on OUTSIDE of package.

This so amazing, love it, no more bulky green/bright orange cords running all over the place, it is convenient to bring right to your work place. Just received, and have already used mutliple times. This year when going on holidays to visit, i will pack in car, as we always run out of outlets in the kitchen or the buffet table.

Great for tablets, etc, and outside on the patio. great power source. camping, RV’s, or jst carrying around, A real keeper.

This should be customer top rated. I bought one a couple of years ago in grey and it works great. I mostly use it in my sewing room where I plug in my iron, extra light, sewing machine and so on. Everything is on and off with one switch as I leave the room.

When my son wanted to do some work in my back yard he took it out for the blower and other tools. It’s great!! There are so many ways to put it to use! It’s a great product.

This item is a must. The 25′ cord lets you plug into an outlet that may be behind something and useless. I only have 2 outlets in this room. One is behind a dresser – can’t use it. So everything was plugged into (safely) the other outlet.

Now I plugged this into the hidden outlet and removed 1/2 from the other outlet and feel so much safer now. Would be great to use outdoors when you are multi tasking in your yard. For safety unplug everything when done and bring this unit back inside.

Arrived timely vua UPS, i watched a you tube video to gelp assemble the desk, the motorized hex rod will br challenging to a new person assembling. We slightly wiggledbthe desk leg to fit the hex rod perfect.

I love my one motor desk and i purchased add on monitor shelf for ergonomic body positioning. programmable heights is awesome, not a simple toggle switch. Makes working tolerable and the price is comparable to lesser vendors like Ikea.

Great! Does exactly what it should do. Nice to have some more easily accessible USB outlets for charging all those USB powered devices.

I needed an extension cord that was attractive and functional. The variety to choose from, along with the length, was perfect for my needs. It does take some getting used to, as the plugs are on different sides, and not all in a row like typical strips; however, this becomes an advantage since large plugs won’t block the other outlet extensions.

I bought this electrical extension cord to use at the kitchen table, for powering a laptop after the meal is done. Multiple outlet strips do not stay in place, but with the cord passed through slats in a chair, this one does.

It has just enough outlets for two people to work, and even has two USB ports, which let you charge a device with only a cable. I recommend this product.

My two year old iMac 27 just got its mainboard burned due to the power surge while it was plugged into this product. This was proved by Apple authorized repair store. The cost to get it repaired would be at least $650( 99 / hour for the labor plus part).

Basically this is just a regular outlet with a higher price tag. I contacted BH, was told they are not responsible for this since It was purchased two years ago with my iMac. And as far as Belkin company, you have to fill out claim forms and send it back on your own cost, then wait a long time and tons of phone calls till they say we tested our product, it is good.

Love this surge protector. I use it next to my work desk at home. It not only has the extra outlets, but the USB charging ports are perfect to charge my phone and headphone as well. I don’t have to worry about if my electronics are charged during work hours.

I didn’t realize how useful this was going to be until I got it. I plugged it in next to my recliner and now I can easily charge my phone, daughters tablet, and my light board allay once. I attached it to my little side table using command strips and the cords are all in one place now.

I was excited to receive the Philips USB Power Strip to use in my bedroom. My husband and I were using the bulky blocks to charge our phones at night. The outlet is behind our bed. That is rough to do.

This slim power strip means that all we needed was charger cords and we can keep it closer to us and plug both phones into this one small strip. It is so much more convenient for us.

The orb itself is heavy and sits well on my nightstand. It will not fall off. It has a thick heavy duty cord that’s sure to last. The USB plug charges my phones quickly. It’s much better than conventional phone chargers.

Well made and perfect for our use – hiding our charging cables from our plastic chewing furball gremlins. For some reason they leave braided cables alone, so we were able to stash it in a storage basket and plug our cables in on top.

The flat plug style is also really nice.

This surge protector orb is definitely different than other surge protectors I’ve had. I’ve never owned an orb-shaped surge protector. It was bigger than I expected. The cord seems very durable. It’s like a very strong jump rope.

I like that it has two USB chargers. It would look cute on your desk. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because it probably takes up a bit more space than your standard rectangular surge protector.

You could just push those against the wall.

Neat extension cable – what’s good about this is that the USB plug and socket are nice and snug, no wobbly loose connections here.

The braided extension was used in my classroom to attach the smartboard, Lenovo monitor and drive. The other two ports were used to charge my iphone and an ipad for the classroom. The extension did not take up space and fit in a corner by my desk.

The six-foot extension was good for the outlet and minimum four feet from my desk.

I no longer worry when my kids plug in their laptop and flop down on the couch. The flat plug defends the electrical socket from the buffeting from the couch back, the rugged cord stands up to the kids’ bending and throwing, and the cord is long enough to bring the power within reach of their favorite couch cushion.

I honestly don`t really see myself using this product a whole lot. I don`t have a desktop at home and really bring my laptop with me all over the house. I don`t really have a need for an extension cord like this.

This extension cord is the newest addition to my home office. It`s allowed me to organize the jumble of wires I use to charge my devices, and instead charge my laptop, iPad, and cell phone, all from this one nifty extension cord.

Although the two included USB ports are a bit slower than I was anticipating, the braided cord seems durable, and resistant to damage.

This cord saved my life! I have so much technology on my computer desk, and having a small dog at home that likes to chew cables. this is not ideal. I installed the extension cord on the corner of my desk and it makes it easy for me to charge my devices and keep the cords untangled.

Current apartment requires a power socket to just lie around in the room (there are no wall sockets for my vinyl player). And what a perfect thing to just lie around. Also, whenever this horrible war ends, and I will be able to travel to my home country, I’ll buy a truck of those.

Love how it looks and how it’s built. But these USB outlets are ancient. Not enough power to charge anything even remotely fast. Please reengineer these with USB Type C 10 or 15W and you have a perfect product.

But for the price this old tech is close to unbearable. Unfortunately I have to keep them because they look so good. ;).

I bought it as a present and my whole family loves it! It’s so aesthetic and has a great quality! Definitely worth the money! I’m also loving the magnetic feature cause it’s so useful. I will definitely buy one more for myself cause they look so cool.

I saw this at the Shinola store in Denver. It is a stunning looking piece, especially the blue one. But it is outrageously priced for what amounts to a fancy extension cord. From asking the store personnel to reading the specs on the Shinola website, there is “nothing” to indicate that this provides any surge protection for expensive computers and high teach gear.

There is no way I would power up my gear without surge protection. Too bad, because this would look great in my home office.

Solid build quality. Yeah it’s expensive, but its a statement piece. Basically all your friends are going to be jealous and that’s kinda of the point. I love the look and feel of it plus the two USB ports are well appreciated in today’s modern age.

The added benefit is it keeps all of your TV, PS4, Amazon Firestick cords, etc. from looking straight jank. This is a quality product at a steep price point but it’s worth it. I’ll be purchasing from Shinola again for sure.

OK – i’m a native Detroiter in California, but even that bias can’t describe the number of inquiries i get about the surge protector, which unlike my Belkins or other plastic surge protectors, is a work of art and visibly pulled into the middle of the room with intent.

I have other surge protectors from a place in socal that offers a similar vintage feeling to them, and you can pick and choose a LOT of colors, but they don’t come anywhere near to the build quality of these guys.

My ONE complaint is they don’t carry a USB-C version. The port just looks outdated already.

Good building construction, feel and beautiful design. I would personally prefer a plug with a small/slimmer profile so I could use it behind furniture. This plug is only useable in a well exposed wall socket.

More colors would always be welcome too. Would definitely recommend the buy to anyone.
