20 Best Exhaust For Rzr 1000 (2023 Updated)

I was Super excited to buy the full carbon exhaust, as it just looks amazing. Super fast shipping and sure enough it looks as great as the pics. Id have to agree with some of the other comments. Me personally i noticed ZERO difference in sound.

some other comments say they notice it a little bit. some say it sounds amazing. I have a 2013 gsxr 600. Maybe im just tone death but i took the bike for a ride pre and post installation and i 100% cant tell the difference in sound.

Great product, easy install. At least for me it just was a $500+ cosmetic item. I do wish it was louder, or deeper, or anything other then stock sounding. But still happy. Because the sound is exactly the same it may not be worth it as a California rider, Basically risking tickets just to have a carbon *look” exhaust with no added benefits.

Either way im happy with the purchase 4/5.

Ok So i have the same exact exhaust for my FZ09 except its the full version which sounds and looks great. When I bought this I was expecting it to take my bike up in volume quite a bit and don’t get me wrong it does have a deeper slightly more loud tone to it.

However if you are looking to make your exhaust truly loud I adivse against this. This exhaust is almost purely for looks. I will almost certainly do a cat delete and turn this into a full exhaust so I can taunt cops with my friends on saturday.

Anyways its a great looking exhaust but its slip on version simply isnt loud.

I previously had the M4 GP Shorty Slip-on with Cat Delete and it was just too loud for my taste. It sounded really nice and deep, but it was also very loud. My guesstimate would be that it was around 115-120 decibels which was clearly too loud for me.

I purchased this slip-on to replace my previous slip-on and it was a great choice. Without the R77 baffle/silencer, my guestimate on sound levels is around 100 decibels. It’s extremely quiet during idle or low rpms, but has a deep throaty sound still.

When you speed up and ride aggressively, she sounds sporty and has a great racing tone to it. Performance has significantly increased as well. I just want to remind you that I have the cat delete. Just do it! LOL.

I bought these and it took 20 minutes start to finish to put them on my 2014 zx14r. My kids helped with the wrenching it was that easy! The look is top notch and the sound gives me chills Every time I hit the starter.

Performance is right on the money and saves me 5lbs over stock. You will not be disappointed with this slip on. The only negative I have is oddly sort of a positive as well. They ship this spray foamed in the box.

It makes a massive mess getting it open and out. Took me longer unpacking and cleaning it up then installinG it. But at the same time there wasnt a blemish on them there was no way they were getting damaged.

Just open them outside or in the garage not in your living room lol.

I purchased the R77 slip-ons with stainless/carbon end caps from Revzilla for my 2013 ZX14R. The quality is first rate, and they fit perfectly. These slip-ons come with quiet inserts so you can choose the sound level you prefer.

I listened to the pipes with inserts in and out. I chose to have inserts in, as I am so over loud pipes. Even with the insert in or out, these pipes sound deep and throaty and is milder than most. With the inserts in, it is just quieter with all of the great Yoshimura tone.

I love Yoshimura quality, and these look and sound great on my ZX14R. I highly recommend these, even over the Akrapovic pipes, which cost significantly more.

My first aftermarket exhaust. I’m a new motorcycle owner so everything I do is the first time. Even I had no issues installing this bad boy. Very straight forward, no brackets or weird adapters, fits right onto the frame.

As for the sound. Holy $h!t. WAY louder than I expected. Beautiful low throaty sound with plenty of pops and growl. I listened to a sample on YouTube before I bought. Does NOT do it justice. Makes the stock exhaust sound like an absolute joke.

And thats not to mention the styling. Way better than that ugly stock muffler. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Love my exhaust. Sounds beautiful just the right amount of growl where you expect it to be and fairly quiet where it should be so that it doesn’t annoy on long drives. Removal of stock exhaust was not too difficult.

Had to improvise on how to get the truck high enough off the ground to clear the elbow over the axle and out the side of the truck. installation was fairly simple. I’m no professional but i was able to do it myself in my driveway with the help of a friend.

i wish the parts would have been labeled more clearly. A simple numeric sticker would help a lot. Getting the exhaust to sit and stay in the perfect spot was the time consuming aspect of it. Back and fort between the clamps to tighten down, in sequence, so the exhaust tips wouldn’t swing up and rest against the fender.

That was frustrating.

I do not get the helicopter sound when mother shifts from 8 cyl to 4 cyl, 2015 5. 3 Silverado, if I had a lift I may have installed this myself but it is heavy without help! Was to be a straight up bolt on went to a shop and they had to cut some pipe off to fit.

Gas mileage has gone up on the low end upper end had remained the same. averaging 15. 8-20. 5 in city use. I also have a air raid intake tube installed with factory air box and k&n filter.

I had the MBRP XP split side dual exit unit on my 2009 Silverado & absolutely loved it! Got many compliments! So now had to purchase the same one for my 2015 Silverado…

Great mufflers, I have been using these exact mufflers on so many application for over 10 years with excellent success! From muscle cars to European sports cars what I love about the “ultra flow” Dynomax mufflers is that they only produce the raw engine and exhaust sound, nothing else so it’s perfect for me.

I usually don’t take the time to write reviews but I feel i had to say that Dynomax ultra flow is the only performance mufflers i like. Although i had to return these twice (not summits fault they gave me perfect customer service) The mufflers end cap were so badly welded and i was mad to receive such a badly made product while i probably installed over 120 of them over the years on my own cars! Dynomax better step up their quality control, somebody have been slacking in the welding shop and letting these defects pass through to be sold to the customer is a real shame.

Wastes my time and summit’s time. Other then that after 2 times i got real good mufflers put on and they were fantastic as always.

Straight pipes on my turbo foxbody sounded like a nascar race car. Installed these and it significantly quieted down my exhaust. It’s a straight through design perfect for turbo cars. Definitely recommend these mufflers.

I needed a shorty exhaust for my JK due to other modifications. Tone is surprisingly deep and throaty. Mine is post-turbo so your results may vary. No drone at any speed. Very sharp edges on the tubing from being cut.

I had to grind these down prior to installation. Clamps are better quality than any other I have experienced.

Tried to buy is exhaust for a year now. it’s finally in stock. I had the turbo dynomax since I’ve on my jeep. This is definitely a better upgrade, the cat back is nice for clearance on off road.

Have only driven about 100 miles but I can tell the difference on acceleration. The “current MPG” meter shows I’m getting better gas mileage as well. The sound is exactly what I wanted too; mildly louder inside and aggressively louder outside.

Would certainly recommend Magnaflow!.

Excellent quality, best warranty, fits perfectly, sounds great. Nice chrome tips that fill the bumper cutouts completely and extend under the bed. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

The sound is perfect. Its not to loud while cruising but it defcommand attention when you bury your foot. Exactly what I wanted. Haven’t had the chance to check horsepower yet and I’m if I’ll get better fuel mileage.

The four inch tips look great coming out of the bumper on my 2012 Ram.

I would like to start off by saying that this is my 3rd muffler i’ve put on my truck trying to get the sound I wanted. Started off with some glasspacks and they were too loud and more choppy sounding.

So I decided on these after a recommendation from a friend and they are perfect. Amazing low tone at idle and lower rpm, and when you open it up they come to life with a really nice sound. Still quiet enough that you can carry out a conversation though.

Sound amazing. By the way, this is on a 87 k5 blazer 350 chevy 2 1/2 inch true duals no cats. Also they look better in real life than the picture. They dont actually have those wierd lines running vertically, the body is just smooth with 4 rivets holding it in place.

The previous owner removed the cat convertor and welded a pipe in there nicely and the oem muffler was rusting out. So i bought this turbo raptor muffter and cut the old muffler out. Using the stock pipe and tail pipe and it fit and worked great.

Now with out the cat convertor and with this better muffler it sounds awesome for a 4 banger honestly. And the off the line performance as well as passing power were wayyy bettet. Im gettin around 2-3 mpg diff.

I can pull my boat easier. The only thing i did was put a chrome resonator tip on the tail pipe so it wasnt raspy. I have a k&n drop in filter and always use mobile one synthetic oil with lucas oil stabizer and k&n oil filter.

And the truck runs great. Its a 1996 Ford Ranger Splash single cab with 2. 3L 4cyl motor and 5-speed transmission and has over 200k miles and still runs like new.

I replaced some screaming loud glasspacks on my sb 350 and i love the difference. Its got a nice throaty sound at idle and open it lets ya know its flowing but does not sound harsh. Not a bad drone while driving but its only been on a short time, a little wearing in could change that.

The construction seems pretty strong. but its lighter in weight than the glasspack so i dont know if that matters. All in all this muffler doesnt take up much space and should fit multiple types of applications, let alone fit in a tight budget.

I really like it so far, again, sounds great and is a great price.

POST INSTALL PERFORMANCE: The Corsa Sport Axle-Back Exhaust with Polished Tips is delivering exactly the noise I wanted out of my ’08 Mustang Shelby Cobra GT500. I am now getting plenty of “bark” to match the bite and no longer hear the supercharger working when I push the throttle; it is all “low-end growl”.

As an added bonus, I am now getting the audio of the V8 “burble” when I lift off the accelerator without depressing the clutch. POST INSTALL LOOK: The polished tips of the exhaust look amazing. They really “pop” in the Tennessee summer sun! INSTALL: I am not a “gear head”.

However, I decided to tackle the install on my own and I am glad I did! The factory system that was on the car was a slight challenge to get off, as some of the nuts were a bit stubborn. However, the new exhaust went on very smoothly.

The directions were straightforward, but detailed enough to help me do it right the first time. Looking at the details from the videos we took of the process, we filmed the “before” exhaust sound at 8:34 AM; filmed the “unboxing” at 8:42 AM, and then filmed the “after” exhaust sound after install at 10:41; so it took me about 2 hours.

My “helpers” were my 9 year old son and my 10 year old nephew who complained about the heat outside more than helped with the install, so it was largely a “1 man” job. To give them their just due, they were essential on the ego stroke after completion when they commented how great the car sounded! ADDITIONAL BACKGROUND: I have wanted a Shelby Cobra since high school.

I finally found the ideal one for me in January 2022 and jumped on it. When I started taking it out, I was surprised at how much I could hear the Supercharger whine instead of the V8 growl. I wanted more growl; I watched some videos from American Muscle and picked the Corsa Sport Axle-Back Exhaust with Polished Tips.

The exhaust sounds real good. No droning when cruising but gets LOUD when you floor it! Great exhaust sound worth it kinda. The con for this exhaust the quality of it was not worth the price. You would think paying so much for an exhaust it would come flawless.

Not this one. The mid pipe came bent (had to unbent and force it to fit into the mufflers. The active exhaust part that you connect to the mufflers came bent as well. Disappointed. I’ve had other cheaper exhausts that have came flawless.

Otherwise it would’ve have gotten a 5 star.

Had a friend who works on bikes put it on for me, but after reviewing videos I think I could have done it myself! Sounds GREAT, stock pipe was very weak sounding, this has a nice throaty rumble that won?t wake the neighbors when starting it, but probably will anyone above your garage.

Best part is that you don?t have to ?tune? your air intake with these slip-ons, that can get pricey. If you want to go louder, just remove the baffles inside (plenty of videos on that, or any wrenched can do it for you).

I would recommend you keep the baffles in unless you?re looking for really loud (don?t think my passenger would approve).

MY BIKE AS BEEN UNLEASHED! This Yoshimura R77 Slip-on has completely changed my level of enjoyment while riding. The first thing you notice as soon as you start the bike is a perfect almost Ducati V-twin like low pitch growl, the bike is ready to attack.

The second you hit the throttle it sounds aggressive and mean, ready to take on any road you can ride. I must also say I feel it has increased the power, maybe it’s just me, but it seems that the bike has much more mid and high-end torque, it really feels alive now.

Installation was pretty easy, but one thing to keep in mind is that if you want to remove the baffle, and for the best sound you absolutely need to. you will need a “security screw bit” but that was the only thing that was slightly bothersome.

As I’ve been riding, I have noticed more people seem to notice me, and fewer people tend to cut me off, I tend to think it’s because they can finally hear me! There’s nothing more to say, Revzilla was amazing with their support as always.

Why are you still reading this review? Throw in the 500 dollars for your bike, take out the baffle, put on the exhaust. AND HIT THE THROTTLE LIKE THERES NO TOMORROW! I agree with what I saw in another review.

There is one mod that your bike deserves more than any other, and this is it!.

The unit I received was a signature series exhaust which is stamped EPA noise compliant. It has baffle installed with a “tamper proof” torx T25 screw. To remove, you will need a T25 tamper proof bit with hollow middle.

I’m not sure if once the baffle removed it’s as loud as the “race” series but I’m ok with the appearance and sound (did not want too loud anyways). Beautiful piece though in full carbon.

First off, the packaging was superb, formed foam and separation insured no damage. Nice, detailed Instructions were included. I had never installed a car/truck exhaust but I was able to do it myself in about 3 to 4 hours, taking my time.

Hardest part I ran into was removing the old exhaust just using my jack stands – I had to finally just cut the exhaust pipe where it went over the rear axle. Fitment and part quality is great. The sound is lower and deeper.

It is kind of loud in boost, but cruising is just a much improved sound. Very happy!.

I wanted something with a different sound and factory was just way too quiet. Definitely has a great tone without being raspy. Also, it’s noticeable especially cold starts but not too loud to me. Neighbors have no issues either.

Minimal drone and 4cyl mode with AMF has only a little drone. Haven’t really seen any mpg increase, but could be due to driving a bit more aggressively just to enjoy it. Install was simple. I replaced factory on the ground, but did have to cut in order to remove.

Did not come with front replacement bracket and local stores didn’t have replacement. Even though the bolt was rusty, by using some PB Blaster, was able to free that up and reuse it. Install was easy after.

Total time was about 1. 5 hours. Definitely recommend this exhaust!.

The install took me about 2 and a half hours by myself on the floor. Originally I installed it with the factory resonator still in place. On start up and low idle it sounded great, a nice deep rumble with a little more turbo noise.

Higher rpms there was no hiding the fact it’s still a v6. It wasn’t very loud though so I was happy with that but I thought it just sounded ok at best. Then I decided to delete the resonator. The sound level is a little higher but it sounds so much deeper and the turbo noise sounds like it’s a diesel.

Higher rpm it’s still pretty v6ish but I think the good outweighs the bad. Cruising speeds it’s very quiet little to no drone at all. With the stock resonator I give it a 3/5 without it I give it a 4/5.

Great system for the 2019-2020 Silverado with a 6. 2. I also have the CAI Cold Air Intake installed. Had the Borla Touring and was not happy. Returned it and purchased this system, so glad I did! Almost sounds like a late model vette, but a bit louder.

Cold start is also on the loud side, then it simmers down just a bit. Great tone and sound. Quiet while cruising, but you hear it every time you hit that gass. It’s not as wild as the Borla Atack. Probably closer to the S-type, however the Corsa has the built in flex pipe like the factory GM system, Borla does not.

Packaging was awesome have bought several exhaust systems over the years never packaged as nice and as secure as this one. They were bought shipped and delivered in three days. The install was fairly straight forward did have to cut the old exhaust at the mid pipe and muffler meet could not get bolt loose.

You have to take tire and shield down cause the last hanger other than that it went really well I did buy the resonator delete kit as well the tip look amazing on the black truck. The sound is unreal absolutely floored.

Startup is unbelievably loins then dies down pretty quite. Driving go through gears hard and it’s loud sound like a mustang get up to about 50 and then it dies cannot year what’s so ever out the windows down and you can hear very vaguely then gearing down nice crackle sound.

Extremely loud when you won’t it to be and quite when you won’t it. Best exhaust you could ever buy well worth the money.

Can’t be more happy with this exhaust system. High quality and fits like a glove. Even though I have a lift it was straight forward to install. It will take a second set of hands to make it a safe install especially on the removable.

The stock exhaust is in one large assembly on the right side and it is heavy. Going in was easy if you follow the directions. I used some liquid interior cleaner (Chemical Guys)to make it easier to install rubber hanger mounts.

Keep in mind once it heats up the tips will stick out further than when cold. Sounds amazing according to the wife. Neighbors not so much ??. Did a lot of research and majority of Challenger owner were extremely happy with the sound and quality and I was as well.
