These REALLY helped to get things done throughout the day. Tired after work? Have a Rockstar. Energy low? Have a Rockstar. The flavor is decent: tastes like a regular energy drink. Also great after meals for those who get sleepy after eating.

It helped to finish projects and work faster. You won’t feel like youre on an energy drink, as the boost and comedown is gentle. These are great for those who dont find enough energy boost from coffee.

I’ve tried many drink mixes over the years, including many from GU, and for me, without a doubt, the Strawberry Hibiscus is like liquid addiction. Seriously. I have to watch that I don’t drink too much of this too quickly on rides because it tastes so darn good.

I also like that there’s no caffeine in it so I can add my own caffeine powder for when I want or need it. I do three Roctate scoops per large bottle to give me 275 liquid kCals per bottle which reduces the amount of solid food I need to consume on rides and allows me to just focus primarily on protein.

It was five hours since a rather light breakfast, I was hungry and heading out on a 90 minute ride. Normally a recipe for a bonk. I drank a bottle of Roctane and headed out. I had great energy for the ride.

I have a pretty sensitive stomach and Roctane has never bothered me. Bottom line, it really works and it tastes great. No nasty aftertaste.

I think this product tastes great – especially with ice on a hot day. It is rather light in flavor, not as sweet as some fruit flavored drinks can be and is generally easy to drink. Getting a whopping 250 calories is also just what you need sometimes.

I like to alternate between this with it’s taste and 250 calories and another brand that is sweeter, fewer in calories but contains a little protein which I find helps keep me from blasting my quads.

The only suggestions I have for GU on this product is to try and reduce the packaging size so it’s easier to stuff extras in your vest. There is kind of a lot of empty space in the envelope. I would also change up the packaging to something with a different texture and is not as glossy and slick.

With wet hands and under duress from racing I struggled to grip the package and tear it open. My fingers just kept slipping and I literally had to use my teeth to tear it open. I’ve never had any problems tearing open the other product that I use that from another manufacturer that is also sold in little self serve envelopes so I was surprised by it.

Until recently this drink was great. It wakes you up, keeps you up, and tasted great. Coke has begun adding artificial sweeteners to their beverages in order to lower the sugar content. This includes their non-diet energy drinks.

This energy drink contains the artificial sweetener Sucralose. Sucralose is chlorinated sugar. A dangerous chemical that changes when it heats up to your body temperature. It is known to destroy the good bacteria that live in your digestive system.

Besides the danger of drinking chlorinated sugar, it tastes terrible. It also leaves a powdery aftertaste in your mouth that lingers until you drink something that tastes good. It seems unreasonable to put artificial sweetener in a drink that already has plenty of sugar.

If someone was concerned about their sugar intake, they would not be drinking NOS in the first place. Avoid drinking NOS. You will be glad you did.

I don’t really drink energy drinks anymore I did mainly when I was a teenager and I’ve tried almost every energy drink that you could think of and the only one that is even worth drinking in my book is NOS.

I cannot stand any other energy drink, I think they’re all nasty but NOS is the best one to drink. I’ve sampled almost every energy drink and nothing has the same flavor or compares to the flavor of NOS.

NOS doesn’t have that nasty flavor all other energy drinks have. It is fruity and better tasting.

this is my saving grace. seriously I suffer from severe migraines weekly and prescription medication my doctor has limited my meds for them to 12 pills a month which doesn’t cut it at all even in a good month.

so ive done my share of trials and whatever. so ive found that if I drink a nos and an hour later took a few Tylenol. my migraine will decrease enough to survive. the only other thing that has shown any relief is smoking a bit of cbd hemp then drinking a nos.

no other brands of energy drinks have the same effect. the price is okay, a tad cheaper would be great but I’d probably pay $100 for it since it helps my migraines. (but nos company please don’t change $100!!).

I got the green apple and pink lemonade flavors. So far I have only opened the green apple one. I usually add more water into the sampler tumbler bottle with each scoop of powder so it’s closer to 20 oz of water vs the 10 to 16 it states for instructions.

Tastes wise I like it better that way. It does what it saids it does. I got into this brand when I first brought the hot ignite apple cider flavor as I was missing those nice hot apple cider powder packets that lots of places no longer sell so I found this as an alternative and loved it.

And it acts as my caffeine for the day which is an added bonus. I did buy it originally through Amazon, but now I might just for now on buy directly through the brand store. Ignite has become my morning and afternoon drink. No more energy pills or coffee. I actually started getting ignite due to having Myocarditis from a recent vaccine shot. It’s an inflammation to the heart.

It’s hard to decide what to rate this. I’m being completely honest and unbiased on this drink. I tried raze today and it tasted sweet almost like soda. That isnt bad but it isnt good. It was too sweet for me but I guess people like it like that.

I drank it 20 minutes before my work out and I’m a boxer, my work outs tend to be 3-4 hours long everyday. I started off with a 12 mile cardio workout and then all was good I almost forgot I drank the drink.

Then I got home and started to do my jump rope cardio. 2 minutes out of my 30 min of jump rope in and I felt like throwing up and my heart was pumping way to much. I didnt even finish the entire bottle , I had less than 1/4 left and this is maybe an hour after i drank it.

I felt better and finished the workout with no problem , intact i finished with no hard effort. That’s a good thing, then I went onto abs and chest and finished great. I ate after showering and immediately.

I knocked out. I was surprised I crashed. now you might be thinking well you did have a hard work out. well I work out like this everyday for the past who knows. I never knocked out after a work out.

I have been using SiS for more than 10 years. I have tried while racing professionally and continue to use for big days out in the back country. I’ve continued to use the product as it doesn’t give false “highs” when being used.

SiS works with the body so that you can have prolonged performance at the same intensity. The only other brand I’d use is Tailwind nutrition, but SiS is always the first choice.

I ordered both the Blackberry Citrus and Ginger Lemonade. I like that both have caffeine. I am a big water and unsweetened iced tea drinker but like adding a tablet to one of my drinks most days for a little flavor.

I am also a nurse in a intense physical rehab hospital. Its very physically exhausting some days. I find having a Nuun drink during my busy shifts helps with avoiding grabbing a soda when I need some energy and craving something with flavor.

I also like that it helps with hydration and helps provided important vitamins and minerals. I think the tablets help when I get a headache too. I do not like sweet drinks or drinks with a ton of flavor.

These are not sweet. And to dilute them, I just use extra water or toss a tablet in my large tumblers. I do no like artificial sweeteners or flavored things that many low-cal, 0 sugar or other products that claim to be health conscious contain.

These also do not have that weird after taste that sport drinks and other water enhancers can have. The Ginger Lemonade is my favorite flavor so far! But the black berry citrus is yummy too.

A convenient way to receive the essential electrolytes you need before and after a workout. Tablets come in a pill bottle of 10-12 servings and are easy to break in two when placing in a plastic disposable water bottle.

Some flavors will contain caffeine such as Mango/Orange (My favorite) and Cherry Limeade. The tablets fizz in your bottle as they dissolve which I believe has a minut form of carbonation. Flavors do not have a strong taste.

The flavors are good for those who like a touch of flavor in your water. Flavors I purchased were Mango Orange, Cherry Limeade, Strawberry Lemonade, and Grapefruit Orange. Recommend adding a break line to the tablets.

This was my first experience with Nuun. As such, I was not sure what to expect. I think Nuun has a great product idea and platform on which to sell their product. My issue with the Nuun product I received, is the taste/flavor.

The taste/flavor to me, tasted like watered down soda, which was not what I was expecting. While the tablets are used to flavor water, I was expecting the flavor to be well, more flavorful than it was.

This was my only issue with the Nuun product. I thought the product was well priced and fair. I also liked the flat-rate shipping fee, and I found the overall shipping experience, to be fast. I will finish the Nun I have, and I might order more at a later date, or I may not.

When I think of a canned energy drink from a workout company, I often think of a chalky textured drink. This threw me through a total loop. What made me give these a try were the new candy flavors. They taste exactly like the candies they are after.

I’m a long-time user of the original C4, so I was very curious to try out the new “Sparkling” version of my favorite pre-workout! My prime question centered around how the carbonation would affect my workout.

would the bubbles prove to be distracting in any way? I’ve always found C4 to be the pre that’s most agreeable with my stomach, never having any issues, and it would be a deal breaker for me if that didn’t stay true here.

I wanted to find out right off the bat, so I downed my Frozen Bombsicle in a minute or two while I was grabbing my shoes and phone, then got outside for an early-morning run. I felt the 200mg of caffeine clear some cobwebs right away, and after just a couple initial burps, I found that the C4 settled nicely into my stomach and did not affect my workout negatively at all.

After about 15-20 minutes, I even got the tingle in my ears from the beta alanine and I felt compelled to hit the ground and mix in some pushups and crunches intermittently with my run. That’s a great sign to me! I drank another can the next morning before going to the gym, and felt supported and encouraged throughout my entire workout.

So in terms of comparing this to the already great original C4, it gave me everything I was hoping for, with no adverse affects from the added carbonation. I’m guessing this is being presented to compete more directly with the “energy drink” market than the standard pre-workout market, though.

In those terms, I think with the right marketing it should do fairly well. Taste-wise, this was enjoyable and really did remind me a bomb popsicle, and also wasn’t too far removed from my preferred blue raspberry C4 flavor.

I love Tailwind’s product line! This is my second season using them for mountain biking. This fuel really provides consistent and solid energy over long endurance rides without any negative effects on my stomach or digestion.

I use it for any rides over an hour and have used it up to 6-8 hours in a day. I really like the recovery drink as well. The rice protein seems to digest quickly and effectively. On my travel rides, which typically include two rides a day at 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours each, I like the build back between rides that I get from the recovery drink.

The endurance fuel mixes well without being clumpy or too granular, and never clogs my bottles. The taste varieties are on point. For the record, I am a 53 year-old, 230 lb occasional endurance racer (True Grit 50, The Grizzly, and 25 Hours of Frog Hollow mostly), but I prefer travel rides to Utah doing mostly long days of blue, black, and double black tech lines on the mesas.

I will be doing the 25 Hours of Frog Hollow as a duo for my third time this year and will rely on a consistent stream of Tailwind Endurance, Tailwind Recovery, and some pickles, pasta, and PBJ to keep rolling.

I have been experimenting with several different brands of hydration products over the summer here in Florida. I have sampled many different products. I tried each product for 3 weeks, varying the amounts based on the mileage, and effort of the workout.

The trial period included temp runs, speedwork, and longer distances + 13 miles. We are 100% sold on the Tailwind line. We have been using Tailwind Endurance Fuel for 5 weeks now. I have been able to move away from gels, chews, and other solid foods and fuel my runs solely on the Tailwind Endurance Fuel without bonking.

I have done so well with no stomach or digestive issues, which in the past has been a problem for me. I am able to maintain the energy needed to complete long distance runs and have had ZERO side effects.

We have also been trying the TW Active Hydration line for shorter efforts, or a gym workout. TW is super portable and easy to mix. I carry it on my hydration belt and the quantity is based on mileage.

The TW company does a great job at breaking down how much you should mix based on a number of variables.

Most importantly, at this point, I think at this point I’ve given all the flavors a try and there are none my stomach can’t handle. Some more palatable than others, but none that I can’t drink on a long, hot effort in the mountains.

Lemon is my fave, and cola provides a great kick when you start flagging. The real deal-maker here for me though is their customer service. I did the tailwind challenge and it was a foregone conclusion for me that I’d spend the $140 on tailwind, and if it turned out that it didn’t work for me it’d be a real fight to get them to make good ones their offer (to cover my race entry fee if things didn’t pan out).

Fortunately things never came to that and I’m now convinced that if the product hadn’t worked for me, they’d have gone out of their way to make things right. From the initial postcard with a personalized message wishing me luck training to a very thoughtful email on race week wishing me good luck, these folks are exactly the sort of outfit I want to do business with.

They appear to be interested in happy customers as much as moving product and that is a company I will stick with for ever.

Super psyched on this Strawberry Hibiscus flavor. I like to use non-caffeinated roctane for daily training (reserving the caffeinated flavors for big efforts, races etc. , so I don’t build up a tolerance to caffeine, it affects me significantly, so I use it accordingly).

Before this flavor I used the Grape, which I like too. This Strawberry Hibiscus flavor is not as sweet and has a slight tangy / salty aspect, which I really like. Honestly not a big fan of Strawberry usually but with the Hibiscus, the flavor profile is perfect, tases like a good mexican Jamaica drink, I love this it’s for sure my Favorite Roctane Flavor!.

I used to use these sorts of drinks, but had stepped away for a number of years, relying directly on GU gels for alpine climbing sufferfests and adopting them for cycling training as well. I recently bought a bottle of Roctane to try as I’m cycling a lot more again and was really amazed and what a nice, even supply of energy it delivered.

I used to carry a couple of Gu’s for a 30-40mi ride and now I can just hydrate normally with Roctane (i carry one bottle of Roctane and one bottle of pure water) and get all that energy much easier and with better, more sustainable results for that kind of training.

I still love the Gu gels for certain applications, but the Roctane is a slam dunk for sustained urban training.

I have just recently discovered these preferring Monster Ultra or Bang Energy Drinks because they keep the calories low and the caffeine and taste high. But this Melon Mania is not half bad. The taste is reminiscent of Melons but it does have a slight underscore of a unpleasant chemicals.

I do like that it is very high, in fact covers your day for Vitamins B 6, 12 and 3 and has enhanced amino acids and electrolytes! Wake up everyone!✌🏻😘.

Amazing. Reign gives me good, clean energy unlike some other brands of energy drinks out there. One of my favorite brand of energy drinks, the Orange Dreamsicle is my favorite flavor of Reign (well with Reigbow Sherbet coming out it might be a close second now) but this was a heck of deal.

I have researched and tried many energy drinks and healthy alternatives to coffee and liquid iv energy wins by a large margin. The main reasons why liquid iv scores high is:1. Quality of ingredients.

I just can not find any other energy drink that packs such high-quality ingredients as ginger+guayusa and matcha in them! Most energy drinks just pack huge amounts of pure caffeine without the amazingL-theanine which is a key component of green teas and helps to keep energy and focus steady.

The closest competitors are Matcha Hussle has matcha and Runa has guayusa cans which I both love but even these canned drinks lose on a couple of points. 2. Convenience. Having a nice and light packet filled with fresh green team blend is hands-down more convenient and environmentally friendly than carrying around big cans.

Also, you have the freedom to dilute it with water or make a milkshake. With canned drinks, your options are more limited. Also, canned drinks must contain some preservatives and flavor additives which while harmless is still a kind of chemicals you probably do not want to consume on a regular basis.

3. Caffeine effectiveness. Okay, here It must be acknowledged that everyone reacts differently to the differ type and different amounts of caffeine. I get jittery when consuming regular medium size Starbucks coffee and also the effect does not seem very consistent and depends on a lot of factors which probably are true for most.

I generally find 100-150mg is about right for a single serving. Less than that and you may not feel anything. More than that you get headaches and crash. With liquid iv energy, I seemed to get just the right amount of caffeine which is felt like a smooth ramp of energy that stays on for a few hours typically 3-5 hours.

Also, liquid iv energy is surprisingly consistent!I do not know how to explain but 90% of the time it works spot on! Even with either healthy energy drinks like Runa, Matchabar or Uptime I get the desired energy lift.

I love Liquid IV. When we were at Costco last weekend, one of the samples being handed out, was Liquid IV. Which was awesome, because these bad boys are so expensive, i struggle with buying new flavors, because if i don’t like them , that’s a ton of money and I would rather not have to drink a bunch of something i don’t like, but sometimes i want a change, ya know? So, they had this flavor out, personally i don’t care for anything Matcha.

I like LiquidIV products and have been taking their hydration powder supplement for years — they’re effective and delicious. I wanted to find a healthier alternative to coffee consumption and decided to try this out.

I cannot go a day with Red Bull I think it’s the only energy drink that works and keep me going. I have to be energized to keep up with my 3 kids! I never get the gutters and it helps surprises my appetite.

Love red bull! Idk what I would do without lol! I like the sugar free kind because it is less calories and tastes the best and that is just my opinion! This is also the best energy drink for Leto diet which a lot of people are into right now.

So that is good too. Also it’s not crazy expensive it is more expensive than the others ones sometimes but you get what you pay for! I always have a stash of red bull at my house especially when I go to work as a CNA! Love this stuff so much I really don’t have anything bad to say about it! I worked in a gas station and we sold red bull the most out of all the other energy drinks they have available! I also love that they always have other flavors for the season I haven’t tried one that I don’t like.

Bang is too sweet and I know this is the longest review on the planet but I just can’t express my love for red bull. It is six am and I am just all ready for the day and ready to get started because I keep a red bull bin my night stand so I can drink a while red I’ll before I even get out of bed!.

I seriously don’t understand how people enjoy this 🤷🏻‍♀️ not to mention it’s citrus syrup like taste, the amount of sugar!! The type of sugars that could stop a heart!!! My boyfriend use to always have 1 in the morning.

Then he started buying the larger cans thinking it will help their energy longer. I complain every time to remind How it will damage his health. Uhhhh do you not know the effects of consuming this daily for long periods??? You actually lose more energy as it wears out, you’re always fatigue and grumpy when you’re not on it or haven’t had it for the day, you have higher chance to get diabetes (which he now has!) and your pee stinks! Yuck!! I’m not a fan of energy drinks.

This one is the worst. Red Bull CAN give you wings, used to go to heaven! 🤨.
