The ear buds are great. They are comfortable to sleep with, provide great sound, and cause no problems. The only drawback is the delicacy of the wires. They are very thin and and break easily. This is the third one I have purchased.
They seem to last about six months. If it weren’t for the fragility, I would have given this five stars.
These little earbuds have solved my problem of no sleep due to my husband snoring. I have always slept with music earbuds but I could still hear my husband snoring clearer then the music and it was so frustrating.
The two layers to these truly turns his loud snoring into just a murmer next to me. Most of the night I cant even hear him at all. I have horrible sleep patterns so I check for his snoring a lot. I never had to do that before, He was always there in my ear snoring very loud.
These things work and they work well. It takes a few attempts to get them positioned right but once you have it they work amazing!!!!.
I’m a retired sound technician and I’ve been listening to music whilst operating my lawn mower for years. These little ear buds are the best solution I’ve tried. I use them under shooters muffs. They slip right into your ear canal just like silicone ear plugs.
This provides extra noise reduction over what the muffs achieve. The most amazing thing is how good the sound quality is. I was skeptical of the small 5mm drivers but they deliver amazing full range sound quality.

I bout for myself to help sleep next to a snorer. They didnt block outside noise well enough even with volume high. I found them uncomfortable to sleep in. The stick out rubber pushed in on my ears when I laid on them.
SOLUTION: Inside the rubber the speakers are tiny. I was able to pull off that out rubber and put the speakers inside of regular ear plugs. Yay a comfy, block most sound fit. I sleep right through the snoring.
I love these headphones. I must have small ears because most headphones hurt after a while. Im glad I found these because my favorite way to go to sleep is listening to a great audiobook. I have the headband type of earphones & not have been as happy with them (headband slips during the night plus it is extra warm & makes my head sweat.
yuck!) These headphones are small & extra soft. There are no hard parts that make them uncomfortable. I love them!.
I commute to work on a motorcycle and ride in the canyons. These headphones fit so nicely with a helmet on. I feel like an F1 driver. They are so small but have good sound. They double as an earplug so it blocks out the wind as I listen to music going 80/90mph on the freeway.

The gold-plated 3. 5mm 0. 12 TRS connector provides compatibility with most mobile devices. A zippered carrying case provides tangle-free storage.
This is my third set of SE215 earbuds. The first two sets were damaged from my own mistakes: A car ran over the first set, and my young kitten mutilated the second ones. I use them exclusively on my motorcycle both to protect my remaining hearing (worked in a metal shop in my youth) and to listen to music on my many long rides.
The fact that I keep buying them speaks for itself. The sound is better than any less expensive earbud, including the direct competitors to the SE215, which either could not pull nearly enough volume or could not fit as well under my full-face helmet.
They are tough enough to withstand heavy use. I appreciate the smaller size rubber and foam ear buds, but feel that for the price there should be several more sets included, even if it was a “email us your size and type and get several extra pairs” thing.
That said, I’m going to keep kittens away from this third set of SE215s, but if something happens to them I’m going to kick myself for not being careful and get another set.
I never thought I’d get so much out of an In ears headphone! I’m a mixing and mastering engineer! due to the circumstances that the COVID has brought. new ways of being able to keep up with the pace of work have emerged.
being limited to working in a studio, many have built their mixing and mastering rooms. and have to use headphones as the use of midrange or close range monitors is compromised by space or the amount of noise due to housing or flats.
using headphones has been my salvation. i confess i never thought about how balanced the se 215 are. i had not allowed myself to rely on my ears, but i did not even think about it. it was not until i gave myself the opportunity to trust and choose to finish my work, to use and rely on the se 215.
the result was unexpected. so much so that i have my case with several models of different brands and they are a must for me, to buy among my monitors and above all in my headphones, especially the shure 215.
I’d been using cheap ear buds as in-ears for years for acoustic and electric guitar work on my church’s worship team. But as more layers were added and sound system settings changed, everything began to sound like mud.
So it was time enter the world of in-ears. These filled the need and fit the budget, and I’m happy with them so far. The sound quality is much better, the other instruments are more distinct, and I’ve been able to turned the volume way down.
The build quality also appears to be pretty good, and the cord is more than long enough. The noise cancelling foam also works well. In fact, the one drawback is I now need to remove them when talking to other folks on stage during practice – otherwise I can’t hear them.
All in all, definitely a step way up and a good value.

Reviews From Real Customers
Simply speaking, these are the best sounding earbuds I’ve ever owned. I’ve had Bose, Beats, even a pair of Klipsch earbuds and these Raycons are easily the equal of those premium earbuds and at only about a third of the price.
I’ve also compared them to my daughter’s Apple AirPod Pros and both she and I agree that the Raycons have deeper, punchier bass and a richer sound. I can’t really speak to their quality for phone calls as I primarily use them for listening to music on my iPhone, but the few calls I have had were clear and the person on the other end said I was coming through nice and clear.
I’ve only ever run the batteries down on them once in over a year of having them, and I tell you that only happened after more than 8 hours. They’re only supposed to last for 6 hours but I guess that depends on volume and other variables.
I just ordered another pair of Everydays because a few days ago I went to the gym to work out (I’m VERY serious about exercise) and realized I’d left my Raycons at home. I was so depressed I almost couldn’t work out.
So if I have two sets and keep one in the car at all times I won’t have to worry about that again. Based solely on the quality of the earbuds I bought, I just spent $150 on a set of Raycon The Work earphones.
They sound remarkable and blow away Bose earphones I’ve tried that cost over twice as much. But this is a review for the earbuds so I won’t go into that here. Buy them. The quality you get is fantastic, and the quality for the PRICE is nothing short of amazing.

When these came up over 50% off, I figured it was worth trying them out. I’m happy to have them given the cost, but I warn any further buyers, do not buy these if you expect long usage or quality battery management.
At the very least, what they’re used for – sound – is very solid and appreciated. The music I’ll play sounds very good, almost immersive, and I personally prefer how there are push-buttons to pause, skip, etc.
, vs. buds which use touch instead. Those become cumbersome to manage in winter when using earmuffs or under a beanie. However, in the months that I’ve used them, they’ve never once been at 100% battery life.
It only starts at 90% for some reason if they’re not used immediately after charging. What’s worse, if I try to use them on a second day, they don’t last long enough to do basic errands away from the house.
A “50% charge” only lasted 20 minutes the last time I used them. At most, I’d say they get an hour of usage, and the case doesn’t seem to replenish them too well. They seem to need constant recharging.
I have to assume this is a known problem for them to have their price slashed. These won’t ever be my primary in-ear buds, but in a pinch in the winter time, I could see using them, if I charge them daily or right before I go out.
If that suits your needs, and they’re on sale, maybe they’re worth an inexpensive purchase.
I was a bit reluctant to try these out because of the AirPod-like look with the stems, but they ended up thoroughly impressing me. The case is a bit bulky, but the earbuds sit tight when inside and the case itself charges over USB-C, which is always appreciated, especially when a lot of other buds at this price still charge over Micro USB.
As for the Life Note themselves, the earbuds are super comfortable once you find the best eartips out of the EIGHT(!) included sizes. They don’t stick out very much, with the stems being the only part that really clue people into the fact that you’re wearing earbuds.
The button controls are easy to learn and very responsive, and you can use either earbud independently, although it’s not as seamless as pairs from Apple or Samsung because of the system having to reconnect to the left or right earbud whenever one is put back into the case.
Battery life and sound quality are phenomenal for the price. You’re getting 7 hours of battery life on the earbuds, 33 more in the charging case (From personal use, this is definitely the case. ), and sound that’ll rattle your skull without making your music seem muddy or distorted.
Seriously, it’s crazy how good Anker got these to sound at the price. Vocals and instruments come through crystal clear with a nice depth to them, sound staging and positioning are pretty good considering that these are an in-ear design, and that BassUP tech these are advertised to have is no joke.
Listening to some R&B, rap, and EDM, lows come in powerfully without overpowering the rest of the music, making for a true wireless listening experience that can’t really be beat for the price, out of all of the similarly-priced earbuds I’ve tried.
These are great for bassheads and first-timers looking for a cheap, great-sounding pair of TWS earbuds.
So I am an ear bud snob some would say lol I have many MANY pair ranging from high end expensive ones to very inexpensive ones. I listen to music, podcast, audio books, news and while I’m streaming movies or series and I always like to do so with ear pods in.
one so I don’t disrupt others and two just because I want to hear what ever I’m listening to really well. I have apple and android devices so I use them different ear pods for different things and devices.
I decided to give these sound core life p2’s a try. I’m really satisfied with them so far (been using them now about two weeks and only using them so that I could really give them a fair test) they may not look like a whole lot but they pack a big punch! The case for them isn’t heavy but has a decent weight to them which makes them not feel cheap.
The ear pod themselves are nice and sleek and come with the different size ear pieces (I use the smallest ones) they stay in my ear really well so no issues there, they have amazing battery life and the sound is great! They are right up there with some of my higher end ones.
My only complaint probably would be (and this is a minor one that doesn’t make or break my decision on using them or reaching for them) is that when you first put them in your ear there is no sound like nothing telling you your connected, which I have gotten use to with a lot of my other ones, you get a sound when they start to die but only then.
I also like the fact I can choose to only use one at a time because sometimes that’s exactly what I need to do so over all I’m excited about these and will continue to reach for them.
Small, light, and comfortable, Echo Buds are designed to feel great and sound even better, no matter what you’re listening to. Active noise cancellation limits background noise while Passthrough Mode lets you hear what’s going on around you.
Enjoy up to 5 hours of music playback on a single charge and get hands-free access to Alexa—no tapping required.
The Amazon Echo Buds gen 2 headphones are a decent entry into an already saturated wireless earbud market. These look like your average in-ear buds. Black, nondescript, except for a very light Amazon “A to Z” logo on the earbud that you have to really look to see.
For me, the fit is just OK. There are a number of fit options, including four different sizes of ear canal tips, as well as what they call “wingtips” which fit over the earbud and attempt to keep the earbud from falling out.
I tried three different sizes of the tips and used the ear tip fitment test in the Alexa app to get the top fitment rating of excellent, I was able to get excellent on one ear and good on the other – but overall they seemed pretty stable in my ear and I have not had one come out unexpectedly.
I did have to sometimes push them in after a while to get the best sound quality. The sound quality is good – good enough for casual listening. In this price range and with bluetooth audio in general, you aren’t buying for audiophile quality.
When the eartips are sealed in your ear canal, they deliver the best sound, and as I would walk, talk, chew, etc. the earbud would slightly move around and not seal in the ear canal as well and I would notice a loss of fidelity, typically in the bass region.
Noise cancelling on these is good, but if you’re not used to noise cancelling or the noise cancelling level that these headphones use, you may find it a bit uncomfortable at first. When I first put on the headphones and activated noise cancelling, I was met with an uncomfortable pressure-like sensation.
It largely went away after turning up the music, but it is still something that takes getting used to. My primary set of buds also has noise cancelling, but apparently the amount, style, or configuration of this noise cancelling is different and gave me that pressure like feeling.
Usually after a bit it will go away – so don’t give up immediately! I did try these on my recent flight and they did a good job at blocking out most airplane noise in the cabin. Another thing to note, noise cancelling will eat through the battery faster than without it on – so that does subtract from the listening time.
We are an Alexa household, which is what made these buds attractive. The headphones are really responsive to the “Alexa” wake word, and what is cool is that if I am in an area of our home with Alexa coverage (which is basically everywhere), I will hear the headphones make the response tone, as well as the Echo device that covers that area, but the Alexa platform is smart enough to take commands from the headphones and ignore the command that came through the Echo device.
With that being said, it takes a bit of getting used to – if I’m in my office with the buds on and say “Turn on the lights” – nothing happens. Without the buds, the office Echo show is associated with that room and turns on the office lights – so the buds are not room/group aware and you will need to get specific with your Alexa voice commands to control your smart home.
These do require the Alexa app to set up, and as such the Alexa app wants a ton of privileges on your device like access to your location, use the mic, etc. For someone who just wants a set of decent buds, I can see where this would raise a brow – “Why do I need to give location and mic privileges to an app just to use these headphones?” but such is life in the smart connected device world.
If this is a show stopper issue for you, you may want to look at buds without a voice assistant built in. Setup was fairly straightforward – open the Alexa app, add a device, open your buds, and in a few seconds they show up on screen and you click the name to pair.
You are then walked through some basic instructions and the ear tip fitment test. Overall, the setup experience is good and easy enough for even the most tech un-savvy to follow along with. One downside I found of the reliance on the Echo app is that some features like getting battery status and changing noise cancelling modes on the earbuds via the phone is done via the Alexa app.
Unfortunately, when I was on the plane and did not buy the in-flight wi-fi I was not able to interact with the earbuds via the app because the app refused to function without connection to the Alexa services via the Internet.
You can still activate and de-activate noise cancelling via pressing the side of the earbuds, but this is kind of a miss. An update to the app to allow interaction with the buds when not connected would be a welcome addition.
Charging the buds is done by placing them back in their case. The case is nice and small, so it fits well in your pocket. It does charge via USB-C, so if you haven’t made the switch to USB-C, this will be another cable you’re carrying around.
There’s also a wireless charging case version available for a slightly higher price, so if you’re a Qi charging person, that may be for you as well. Overall, these buds get the job done. If you’re not in the Alexa ecosystem already, I’d probably look at other options – but if you are an Alexa user – this is a great way to take Alexa on the go as well as get good sound from noise cancelling buds.
INITIAL SET-UP Set-up of the Echo Buds is accomplished with your Amazon Alexa app available via the Apple Store or the Google Play Store. Folks that already have another Alexa device in their household will have no trouble setting up the Echo Buds with their Amazon account.
Set-up is very similar to other Amazon devices, and I had no issues linking and setting up the Buds with either my iPad or my Android smartphone. The included directions are simple and covered all aspects of initial configuration.
USE The Echo Buds have performed flawlessly since initial set-up. These Echo Buds had one thing going for them, that I haven’t experienced in some time. That is a product without the immediate need for a firmware update prior to use.
Wow, that alone is particularly impressive. Amazon claims battery life of up to 5 hours of music listening and 4 hours of phone calls. But, those times vary depending upon volume levels, active noise cancellation, etc.
The Echo Buds include 3 different sized tips (Small, Medium, and Large) to help fit nearly anyone’s ear. A unique feature to the Buds’ app is a custom test to ensure you have selected the correct tip size for your ear, thereby ensuring you get the best possible sound and noise cancellation properties from the device.
The sound test works extremely well. In addition to the ear tips, Amazon includes a product in the box they refer to as: Wing Tips. The wing tips are a silicone sleeve just like the ear tips, but go around the actual Echo Bud itself making for a “grippier” surface in your ear.
This helps to prevent the Bud from falling out during exercise or if sweaty. Though, it feels quite odd at first, the Wing Tips really do work well and make the Buds much more secure during workouts.
Well done! The main attraction to the Echo Buds, as opposed to other products on the market, is the inclusion of the Amazon Alexa assistant that is built into their functionality. Microphones built into the Buds not only work for answering phone calls, but with the Alexa app running on your phone, allow you to speak to your digital assistant anytime you say her name.
I find this much handier than my other home-based Echo products. It’s much more intuitive to add stuff to your shopping list, ask Alexa to play music, make a call, etc. If Alexa is not your choice of virtual assistants, Amazon wisely allows your Buds to be able to access either Siri or the Google Assistant, should you so choose.
Audio quality is very good with these new 2nd generation Echo Buds. While I don’t find the audio quality as good as I do with my Jabra ear buds, the Echo Buds still have very good audio quality. Whether I’ve used them for music, movies, or phone calls, I have not found a situation where the Buds don’t produce clear and intelligible audio.
The Echo Buds are manufactured with 3 microphones built into each ear bud and they do a great job of picking up audio for calls, but also at detecting the Alexa wake word. In quiet environments, you don’t have to speak much above a whisper to active Alexa.
I must also give a shout out to Amazon’s implementation of their Active Noise Cancellation. The ANC works extremely well, better than most ear buds, some at even much higher price tags. The Echo Buds can nearly eliminate the noise from the fan on my nightstand in a completely quiet bedroom.
This is something that most all my other ear buds or actual headphones struggle with. The Echo Buds handle the cancellation superbly. NEGATIVES I haven’t found a lot to dislike about the Echo Buds, but there are some areas where I think they could be improved upon, some I’m sure would be as easy as a firmware update.
First – Noise Floor. While the Echo Buds do a very good job at audio reproduction, there is quite a bit of noise during quiet passages in movies and music. While not a deal breaker by any means, I do notice that ever so slight hint of hiss in quiet environments.
Something not present in my Jabra’s. To be fair to Amazon, this is nearly inaudible in most environments, but when it is quiet time, you can hear it. However, I think it could be remedied with a simple firmware update.
Second – Bass Response. While not totally lacking in this department, it isn’t the most bass heavy of ear buds. You do get some bass response from the 5. 7mm drivers, but it won’t leave your jaw dropping.
Again, this isn’t a deal breaker and should I not have ear buds from different manufacturers, I would probably not have given it a second thought. However, similar products from other manufacturers do give a fuller, more dynamic response.
Lastly – Privacy. If you are concerned about your privacy and what Amazon hears and retains, this may not the product for you. Amazon states they do not sell your private information and supposedly does not record any information until you say the magic Alexa word.
Amazon allows you to mute the microphones in the Alexa app should you want total privacy and the app also allows you to view, hear, and delete any recordings. CONCLUSIONS At the end of the day, these are a very good set of ear buds at an attractive price.
The audio quality is very good whether it be for music, movies, or phone calls. The Echo Buds are light weight, and the inclusion of different sized tips ensure they are comfortable and appealing to a wide range of people.
In addition to the audio quality, the addition of the Amazon digital assistant is just an added win for the users already invested in the Amazon ecosystem. As much as I like the audio quality and performance of the Echo Buds, there are rivals out there that have better audio and call quality.
While some are much more expensive, some are similarly priced. Like I mentioned earlier, should you not have the option to hear them back-to-back with a competitors’ product, the difference is minimal enough that you would be hard pressed to notice.
I give the Echo Buds a solid 4 stars. Anyone that is looking for a good set of ear buds at a reasonable price and already invested in the Amazon ecosystem, these would be a no-brainer. Though other products do a better job at being a true ear bud, none I’ve found offer the convenience of the Echo Buds with Alexa built-in.
To start with, prior to using the Echo Buds I had never used Alexa, for anything. To use these buds, I needed to install Alexa on my Galaxy Fold 3 – which only took a minute from the Google Play Store.
The instructions included with these buds tell you to open the buds charging case and wait until you see a blue light – which puts the buds into pairing mode. Once done, the instructions tell you to go to the Alexa app to finish the installation.
Over the years, I have probably used 20 to 30 different earbuds from a variety of vendors. Most have included instructions and are usable immediately without much of a learning curve. And most have an accompanying music app specifically for their buds.
The Alexa app is different in that it is a comprehensive tool used for likely hundreds of different functions, not just the Echo Buds. As such, I wasn’t entirely sure what my next step of the installation process should be.
Sure, I figured it out, but I didn’t think it was intuitive enough for a first-time user. These buds follow some common conventions regarding the touch controls, like Pause, and the Skip Forward and Backward functions.
The default touch control settings for both left and right earbuds are as follows: Single Tap – Pause or play Double Tap – Skip forward a song (or answer/hangup call) Triple Tap – Go backward one song Press and hold – Turn ANC On or Off You can individually customize the left and right buds by assigning actions under Touch Controls in the Alexa app: Play/Pause Next Track Siri or Google Assistant Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) Passthrough Answer/End Call With the 2nd Gen version of the Echo Buds, you can further customize them for the following: Access Google Assistant and Siri Volume up/volume down.
Mute microphones. The buds themselves surprised me. I prefer eat-tips with built-in ear-wings to keep the earbuds securely in place. While there are additional ear-tips included in this package that have ear-wings, those installed on the buds when initially received do not.
I found them very comfortable, and they stayed firmly in place. Nice! The sound quality of these buds was about average for this price range. The equalizer settings I found in Alexa helped to improve the sound quality somewhat.
A nice feature that Alexa has is the ability to quiet the music when you ask Alexa to perform some action. For example, I was listening to music when I asked Alexa “what day is today”. The music went to the background, helping me to hear Alexa clearly.
I also had Alexa raise and lower the volume by voice command, which was nice. Still, I didn’t like having to ask Alexa to change the volume or having to go to my phone for that purpose. It was only afterwards that I learned I could customize the earbud touch controls to add Volume Down to my left earbud and Volume Up on my right.
As noted above, Alexa is a powerful tool that covers a wide range of functions well beyond just these earbuds. Do note that Alexa, by default, is always in a listening mode when you use these buds, although there is a setting that lets you turn that feature off.
One big reason I was interested in these buds was the ANC. I regularly use my buds in noisy locations. ANC, for me, is a necessity. I tested out ANC by toggling between Passthrough and ANC modes while moving between noisy places and very noisy places.
Unfortunately, I found very little difference between the two. For example, I chatted with my wife while using the buds. I turned ANC on and off, and I couldn’t hear any difference. I turned the TV up loud and still couldn’t hear any difference.
I stood next to a noisy floor cleaning robot and, yep, no difference. In Alexa, there is a Passthrough slide-bar that lets you determine how much ambient noise you want passed through. With that at its highest setting, the difference between Passthrough and ANC was barely noticeable, and at its highest Passthrough level there was a noticeable background hissing sound.
I should disclose that I have some buds with exceptionally good ANC, so it is easy for me to distinguish between good ANC and not so good ANC. And it seems that other buds I’ve tried in this same price range do a better job.
For me, sound quality and ANC are the two most important basic functions of any earbuds. The sound quality of the 2nd Gen Echo Buds is more than adequate but nothing special, while its ANC implementation is underwhelming.
I would rate the Echo Buds, 4 stars; ANC, 2 stars; Alexa, 5 stars. Since Alexa isn’t specific to just these buds, I am giving them a 3-star rating.

Your audio is always within reach with the Ink’d+ Wireless In-Ear Headphones from Skullcandy. The neckband design of the Ink’d+ lets you wear your headphones throughout the day. When you’re ready to listen to music, a podcast, or your favorite audio book, simply insert the earbuds that are tethered to each side of the band.
They’re a convenient audio solution for those always on the move, or who need to continuously remove their earbuds throughout the day. Control buttons and a microphone are integrated into the neckband, allowing you to use the Ink’d+ for more than just entertainment.
When paired with a compatible smartphone, you can take hands-free calls or use the voice assistant button to deliver voice commands and questions to your nearby device. The controls also provide the ability to change tracks and adjust the volume.
On a single charge, the Ink’d+ headphones can run for up to 8 hours, but if you’re in a rush, a quick 10-minute charge provides up to 2 hours of playback.
This is the second skulcandy model I’ve purchased. The previous (similar style) stopped working at 18 months. Fortunately the warranty was 2 years despite what Best Buy website indicated. Still waiting for satisfaction on that.
The current model however, seems to suffer a similar condition. The covers on the end of the main body just fall off. On the last set it was the battery cover on this version the silicone cover over the buttons just fell off.
It was under thirty days so I was able to exchange per Best Buy policy otherwise it would have been another warranty situation. On that subject Skulcandy wants you to ship the warrantable product via a traceable shipping method.
Please note here that the cost of doing that is 50% of the cost of a new headphone. Not a good policy. This will be the last Skulcandy product I purchase. It needs to last more than a year. P. S. Best Buy was selling this model for 59.
99 the next day I found it on Skulcandy website for 49. 99 so I used the price match guarantee to bring the price down and two weeks later Best Buy had them on for 39. 99 so I used the price match once more.
So Best Buy prices aren’t always the “ best buy “!.
I really Love Skullcandy products in general, but I really hate these earbuds. They get lost in my sweaters and scrubs and they end up pulling my hair or fall off my shoulders. The sound quality is subpar compared to all of my other Skullcandy earbuds.
The volume does not work accurately and seems incredibly low and compared to the volume of whatever I’m listening to coming from my phone. Often times I actually prefer not to use the headphones and put my phone on speaker.
I am grateful that I had another set of earbuds from Skullcandy 10 years ago otherwise I never would have purchased another set again. His friend has been my go to but I’m so bummed out with these earbuds.
I even called customer support which are normally wonderful to see about getting a refund or replacing these but they’re unable to do it because I don’t have the box. I never keep my Skullcandy boxes because I know that I’m gonna love their products.
My number one most favorite pair of skullcandy earbuds are the Set In Ears. But I had to test these out as an alternative just incase the sets were no longer available. And these meet that standard. They are very close to being like the sets.
The bass is a bit low and not as clear as it is on the set but for me its noise isolated and great when it comes to loud sound. Ive been seeing people say they dont like the eartips on them though. Personally I haven’t had any issue with them because I didn’t use the stock tips that came with the inkd but my solution for anyone with that issue is to use the large sized eartips that come with the sets if you have any.
Ive been using those tips and wore them for hours and never had any discomfort, itching or sweating. Also one of earbuds (right) actually came apart but the wiring was still attached with the sound still working.
Of course I popped it back on but despite this construction flaw, I still like them and have to give skullcandy their credit. I would still recommend the set in ears to anybody who really likes loudness or cares about sound quality.
Overall these things are great and i WILL be buying another pair.

Purchased last month for noise cancellation and better comfort than my wrap-around regular earbuds, which press uncomfortably on ear canal when wearing more than a short time and lacked noise cancelation.
The Bose QC Earbuds design effectively stay in with soft, flexible wings that comfortably hold in the ear. Bose gives you three wing sizes to find the best fit. This design is made for those that want a comfortable earbud that stays in.
Additionally, they are more comfortable than my traditional, wrap around earbuds because the earbuds have an open umbrella shape and rest on the ear canal instead of narrower and resting inside the ear canal.
That makes them much more comfortable than traditional wrap around ones for anything longer than short periods. The Bose QC Earbuds have very well-designed features as well. You can select four listening styles that match your listening and environment, like Music, Walking, and Quiet as well as selecting how much noise canceling you want with each.
Quiet, of course, gives maximum NC, but others can be personalized to your preferences. The Aware setting is particularly impressive and amazing by allowing awareness, as the name says, of your surroundings, yet increasing the NC whenever intrusive noises arise and increase to moderate those, giving you a more stable volume in dynamic sound environments.
I tested these settings on a jet flight days ago. Engine noise dramatically reduced with the Quiet mode. The Aware mode moderated the engine and other background noise as passengers boarded, yet allowed the flight attendant to be heard clearly giving the safety instructions.
Amazing that Bose design can allow voices to come through while still cutting background sound. Of course, the sound lives up to Bose high standards along with the case and the way the buds fit as the buds drop securely in place for storage and charging.
In summary, Bose designed one of the best, if not the best, earbuds for versatile, intuitive noise canceling, comfort, and great sound. Beyond that, those who want earbuds that stay in place as well will be hard pressed to find better earbuds.
I got this as a present on Christmas. I am somewhat of an audiophile – and in terms of overall sound quality, I have no complaints. The controllable EQ on the Bose Music app is a very nice touch. But I have a few questions: 1.
Why the design of the earbud? I truly believe it was a missed opportunity that these eartips just kinda sit on top of the ear instead of going inside. The natural noise isolation of any in-canal earbuds are superior and superb, as from experience, some of my deep in-ear EIMs I own are better at blocking out sound than every noise cancelling product I own, which says a lot.
It doesn’t block 100% of sound, but it would be nearly so if Bose’s QuietComfort technology was combined with the passive noise isolation of in-canal earbuds. Like… just why? You kinda ruined the entire point of the earbuds.
Because they only sit on the ear, they don’t block out a lot more of the sound without the noise cancellation (which in my experience is pretty good but nowhere near perfect) than it could potentially have.
I guess it may be from people who dislike earbuds going deep in their ear, but whatever, I guess. Also, it’s been a few weeks since having these but I’m still not perfect at putting them in my ear. It’s a learning experience in itself, just to wear the earbuds correctly, which although I don’t mind personally, I would assume many people would.
2. Is it intentional that there is a constant hissing sound when the noise cancellation level is below ~7? It makes sense that the “aware mode” (aka level 0 cancellation) picks up environmental sound, and has a slight hissing noise, but that’s just unreasonable when the noise cancellation is on at all.
The feature of external mics picking up environmental sounds and sending it back into our ears should be completely shut off if the noise cancelling is on at all, otherwise I do not have a choice between just having passive non-noise cancellation and aware mode… unless it isn’t intended and there is a severe flaw with the earbuds themselves? Ultimately, they are quite convenient and I guess it’s sometimes nice to have a break from having earbuds deep into my ear canal, as they are pretty comfortable to wear (although it took quite long to learn how to wear them comfortably), and considering their price, I would assume it’s better to pay a bit more for the new Sony WF-1000XM4s.
But since I didn’t pay for them, and they work as intended to the basic level, I won’t complain. I do use them almost everyday since I got them, which must say something. And again, they do sound nice.
People have been saying that the bass was muddy but honestly it sounds great, and is definitely a satisfactory product for bassheads.
So I’ve owned Bose Soundsport and Bose noise-cancelling headphones for several years now and have absolutely loved them. So when I wanted to update to wireless earbuds, I figured I’d go with Bose again because of their outstanding quality and reliability.
Sadly, my confidence in Bose has been severely shaken after purchasing these Quiet Comfort earbuds. Now, when they work they are pretty solid. I thought the sound was great, the noise cancelling worked well and the fit was fairly comfortable.
Unfortunately, less than a week after purchasing them the left earbud went dead while I was on vacation and wouldn’t charge. I tried all of the trouble shooting tips, but nothing would work. So I finished my vacation with one earbud (which was a pain) and decided I would would just exchange them when I got home.
After doing just that the new pair worked very well for a period of time. Of course wouldn’t you know it, but here I am on vacation again and now the right one this time won’t charge and the earbuds won’t work at all.
Of course none of the recommended troubleshooting techniques work (shocker) and I’m again stuck with dead earbuds while I’m out of town. I suppose when I get home I’ll see if I can return or maybe exchange them, but either way these earbuds have been nothing but a hassle since I bought them and I really don’t know if I can ever trust Bose enough to buy one of their products again.
Based on some of the reviews on here other people have experienced this issue and perhaps Bose should look into why it’s happening this often.

I had used my headphones for a while and really enjoyed their overall performance. Then while outside for lunch at work I dropped one of my earbuds, thinking I had thrown it away at the end of my shift while clearing my scrub pockets (I typically just put the loose one in my pocket after lunch until I realize I need to put it back in the case), I never even thought to look outside for it when I realized I had cleared my pockets and THEN realized it was missing- a coworker and I combed through the garbage with no luck (I work in a hospital so there was contact precaution PPE in the garbage, too, which is why we didn’t dumpster dive for too long.
) Bummed, I was just going to rock with the one bud until I lost it, too. Then yesterday, ONE MONTH LATER I am sitting outside at lunch and notice my bud sitting on the ground. My first thought was that I had dropped my remaining bud and was honestly annoyed with myself for being so reckless, then when opening my case, realized that it was my long lost earbud.
WHOA. After snapping it into place for a few moments, I wiped off the dust and popped it in my ear. It worked just as well as the day I lost it. Safe to say I am not concerned about sweat damaging my earbuds anymore because I live on the Continental Divide and it has rained a dozen times since then, with large swings in temperatures – well into the hundreds and down to the 40s at night, just recently.
I couldn’t be more happy to be reunited with my wandering earbud and grateful that these economic BT headphones are also extremely badass.
I’m leaving a review because I was scrolling through QVC and noticed these only had 2 stars. I find that ridiculous! I mostly bought this set for the earbuds. While the portable speaker is nice to have, the earbuds are certainly the star of the show.
They sound great and the buttons on them allow you to leave your phone in your pocket most of the time. They’re also pretty stylish and available in a few different colors. I’m a sucker for bass because I listen to rap, metal and other, heavier genres, and I must say that the bass setting on these is more than satisfactory, especially considering the price.
They seem to me to be right on par with big brand names such as Apple and Samsung and they even have more features. Press either side 2 quick times to pause. Press left or right side 3 quick times to go back a song or skip ahead and 1 time to turn the volume down or up.
Press and hold the left side to change the current mode from Bass to Voice or what have you. Press and hold the right side to toggle awareness mode, which is perfect for me because it allows me to still hear if anything comes through the walkie I carry at work.
I wanted to listen to music and podcasts while my hands were busy scrubbing without an annoying, swinging wire attaching me to my phone and I am not disappointed. Also, I get a slight kick out of the fact that the female voice they put in to inform you of mode changes, battery or connection status sounds kind of Midwestern.
I’m from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan so that makes me smile. Raycon, you have a new fan! I left a review because I actually wanted to. Keep doing what you do. ♥️.
I was skeptical to order any Truewireless headsets due to the flood of products on the market but I honed in on this Razer Hammerhead(2nd Gen) and it was awesome. I first paired this to a PC and noticed that it shows up as 2 decives in the sound mixer.
One is a hands-free device which includes usage of the mic. The other is a Stereo device which is used for simple playback. The quality between those 2 devices is huge. Hands-free drops quality down to a telephone signal where it is all tinny but switch over to Stereo and it really hits the bass, mids, and highs with ease.
The sound quality is great, battery lasts long enough for me to not keep track. I just use them for 3-4 hours then put them in the case to charge for a break, then I get another 3-4 hours. The razer app on IOS has additional features like quick connecting where you can select a pre-paired device to force it to pair.
I like being able to switch between phone and PC with the app. You can also adjust the LED chroma on both ear pieces, turn on noise cancellation which I can say works perfectly. It removed the loud HVAC noise that pumps through the office all day.
All-in-all this was well worth the money. Batteries hold a charge and the quality is awesome. These are perfect for gaming, meetings, and phone calls. No cons from me.
I originally started with the 1st generation Hammerheads, and loved them. Eventually Best Buy had a sale on these and sprung for an upgrade. Totally worth it!! I’ve read reviews stating they were having issues with the buds randomly shutting off.
I’ve yet to experience that one about a month into ownership. I have not installed the app and really don’t see the need for it. They pair just fine to, and work with all my devices (save my Dell XPS but the BT on that thing is finicky with EVERYTHING in the audio dept, thus a separate acquisition of a USB BT dongle).
Fantastic for BT calls. So far no one can tell the difference between me using these or my handset (definitely superior to my Subaru’s BT reception, lol). That’s a big plus in my book. The ANC isn’t amazing, but it does seem to work overall.
Don’t expect perfection, but outside noise bleeding in is minimal at best with loud outside sounds. Overall sound quality and volume with every device I’ve paired them too (Dell XPS, Samsung S20+, HP Probook) is fantastic.
All in all, 0 regrets and I’m super happy with these!!.
I’ve used multiple earphones trying to find a set that would work well for music, podcasts, and (most importantly) gaming, and this is the only set I’ve found so far that handles all three perfectly.
The build construction is top notch with both the buds and the case, although some small issues I have with the case is that the top opens up a bit too easily, the hinge doesn’t feel all that sturdy, and the buds themselves are a little hard to get out of the case (although my ham hands probably don’t help matters much there either).
The buds themselves are just about perfect – the controls are sharp and intuitive, and the ANC and “Ambient” modes are pretty great. I’ve seen other sets with slightly more focused ANC, but the Ambient mode is probably the slickest implementation I’ve seen.
Conversations from people around me are amplified quite nicely, to the point that I can hear folks slightly better with the earbuds in than I can with them taken out (maybe not a good sign of my hearing these days).
The Ambient mode suffers a bit outdoors, where it gets easily overwhelmed with wind sounds, but the controls make it easy to switch between modes, plus you can control the modes via the companion phone app if you prefer.
The low latency on these is excellent – Razer did some kind of hocus pocus to make these things super responsive to game audio, and the latency is *really* hard to detect (60ms response time is nearly impossible to discern from instantaneous, at least to me).
So far it seems to work with every system I’ve tried it on, and that is miles ahead of almost any other competing product I’ve used. The audio quality is very rich, and the bass levels are particularly appreciated.
These are THX certified and sound fantastic, although I am admittedly not a super picky audiophile. For the vast majority of users I’d say these will be more than enough to satisfy, and for gamers especially I’d say these are well worth the money.
Featuring two mics on each earbud, a Belkin-engineered noise-reduction algorithm, and three EQ presets, these earbuds will enhance the sounds you want to hear while cutting out those you don’t. Get real all-day listening with a lasting battery life and additional hours of power in the USB-C charging case – for a truly impressive total playtime.
SoundForm Play earbuds are your perfect daily audio companions.
I was pretty excited about the use wireless earbuds I love a nice family canceling wireless earbuds and I wasn’t you know overly expecting them to be top to your quality but I was just pressing them to be a decent quality and so my expectations for the sound were met head on which is not bad it’s good.
The design of the wireless earbuds are nice and compact so I do like that I do like the quartz not overly long and that he can toss both those things into your bag and take them to places with you like work which is what my intentions were with these.
I also marked they were a family iPhone what is a huge class because I don’t want to have to slap your phone sound for my wireless earbuds are for other wireless earbuds and get a call so I said I can takeoff these headphones and I can use my Siri and other functions that I need to watch these wireless earbuds.
However, I fear that’s where the pros stop. These headphones come with three different size replacement earbuds small medium and large neither one fit securely enough in my ear to keep the wireless air buds secured in my ear.
I think the biggest flaw for these wireless earbuds is that the main part of the earbud may be too heavy unless you have like large ears or things and just sit and sit inside your ear without moving and you don’t have normal size ears of these you will be fine with keeping them in all day for as long as you have them in your ear you cannot walk, you cannot move, you cannot slightly adjust in a lease that if you don’t have those large deep set ears.
Because of that sort of basically when does the wireless air buds completely useless. Because you will spend more time fighting with your wireless air buds to say in your ear that you will actually listening to or doing whatever you need to do with them.
Another huge Khan is that the touch aspect of the ear buds call extremely sensitive important to note wireless AirPods in your ear music will be stopping and starting he will be doing the Bluetooth on everything that’s how sensitive I think I’m terribly too honey and they’re way too sensitive to the touch.
Great audio quality, especially for outdoor activities. I tend to have plenty of noise surrounding me on my day to day. Whether it’s mowing my lawn, at work or listening while out jogging, having a good set of earbuds that truly are wireless & have the ability to block out any unnecessary or unwanted noise has been fantastic! The battery life of these Soundform RISE earbuds has outlasted my expectations & the bluetooth connectivity is easy to configure.
Only upsetting aspect is that they aren’t compatible with my console. The multiple silicone ear inserts have allowed my roommate & I to share this pair of True Wireless earbuds without worrying, although I think I’m going to have to buy him a pair.
The navy blue is his favorite. I like the magnetic box that these earbuds come in. Water resistance keeps my sweat from ruining them & allow me to go for a walk/run without fear of the rain that pours without warning down here in FL.
Simple to control, clean & store. I can take em’ with me everywhere. Truly impressive battery life lasts for hours until needing a charge, they continued to impress with superior audio quality & even better noise cancellation.
I would recommend Rise True Wireless earbuds from Soundform to anyone from gamers, athletes & musicians to anyone who enjoys quality hands free listening & communication. The two microphones in each earbud makes hands free calling a much more enjoyable experience.
My coworkers no longer ask me if I’m in a wind tunnel.

Once the ear tips that come with the X3 Pros are replaced (I buy ear tips from Comply) , they are the best sounding earbuds I have ever owned. The hooks ensure that the earbuds stay on my ears during my workouts.
I make drink 2 cups of coffee every day. About 3 weeks in, and I’ve used this little frother at least once every day. Five stars so far. First impressions: it’s made from high-quality materials and that is reflected in the heft.
It’s not too heavy to be unwieldy, but has a comfortable weight that speaks to quality. Very easy to use. It cleans up easily even when the milk sits overnight. A damp cloth is all it takes. The single-button controls took a whole day to memorize.
If you get more sleep than I do, you’ll probably learn it sooner. Helpful Tips: I’ve found a mix of whole milk and coffee creamer makes the ideal (for my taste) foam. When I use straight coffee creamer, perfectly respectable bubbles form.
However, add a splash of whole milk and the mystery of chemistry makes magic. Different brands of coffee creamer make different kinds of bubbles. In closing (3 weeks in): I cannot imagine my coffee routine without this super silent appliance.
It is so quiet that I can literally be holding a sleeping baby right next to it, and the baby doesn’t even stir.

I looked everywhere for this older version of the PlantronicsBackBeat Fit. The new ones (after 2018, I think) are of real inferior quality to these older ones. In the older model the soundquality is excellent, there is no white noise/buzzing, and the menu-voice is crystal clear.
I am so disappointed that Plantronics obviously didn’t keep up their high standards. This older model, on the other hand, is excellent, and my previous pair lasted from February 2016 to February 2021; that’s five years.
They went with me to Indonesia and Mongolia and I exercised almost daily with them. And the only thing that actually broke on them was the plastic cover over the buttons. So I haven’t thrown away my old pair, in case they never make something as good as this again.
In the meantime, I’m thrilled to have found this brand new, older model. About the headphones: I don’t like seperated earbuds, which is why I prefer this type connected by cable. I also feel like they sit much better.
I have NO clue why anyone would buy for example AirPods. I do power yoga, which means my head is often upside down, and these stay put 100% of the time. They’re so comfortable too. Absolutely love them 🙂 Cons: Some with small heads (like me, size 54-56 cm) may feel like the cable is a bit long, but it’s a one size, so.
The older design was brilliant, I used them every day for about 3 years before my bag killed the headset. The second set lasted another 2 years before one of the earphones stopped working. I love this headset for running or listening music when working so I purchased my 3rd set.
Sadly by this point the company had changed to Poly & the design or manufacturing also sees to have completely changed & the quality along with it, the first new set I purchased didn’t work at all & had to be exchanged (Poly were great with the return and exchange).
My issues with the new design are: – The sound controls have switched sides from left to right. This seems really strange & isn’t in line with the BackBeat Pro headset I also have. – The push controls are not responsive.
Trying to turn the headset off can be tedious at times. – The little grip for indicating where the controls are is gone. – And my biggest issue which means I don’t even use the headset is that if I move any faster than a walking pace the right earpiece pops off.
This makes the headset useless for running. In the end my older headset started working again & that is what I still use. Its still going strong with daily use after 4 years. It would be brilliant to bring back that design & manufacturer.
Great high and mid range. Easy to wear except soft insert comes out of my ear easily. Controls a bit clunky. Im OK w 5 he battery life (if so – havent used that long yet). Charging not always clear. Cant use phone with road noise (but see below).
On the plus, its WP, compact, almost unnoticeable to me, simple pause and on off. Wish still made new. Made to allow u to hear your surroundings versus noise cancelling – perfect for safe biking!.

I needed to buy a large quantity of essentially disposable earbuds to send to people for a project, and these were the right price point. BUT, when I had to open them and repackage them all in kits, it was way more time consuming than expected because it was very difficult to open them.
I had to use box cutters to slice the heavy plastic and then rip it apart. Even scissors weren’t that helpful. There was no snap open or perforation. It’s the most un-user-friendly package I’ve ever seen.
It’s like they don’t actually want you to get them out. But 4 stars for the price point and including a total of 3 different sizes of silicone tips.
These headphones were bought just as a backup for my higher end IEMs. For the price, you can’t go wrong. You should know that these aren’t going to blow you away, but if you want decent sound on a budget, these will work.
Nothing really spectacular, these need to be placed in your ear a certain way or they’ll pop out, regardless of the size of the ear piece you use. They can sound a bit tinny at times with low bass. You can try to tweak the sound of you have an EQ available.
I am an audio engineer / nerd. I know what good sound, sounds like. These are my favorite earbuds on the market. Ive head more expensive ones but the sound isolation and quality of sound are unbeatable.
If only i could find this version but wireless my life would be perfect, thats my next plan. But in terms of wired earbuds, you cant beat these. It comes with 3 different earbud sizes. The Large are a perfect fit for me.
Many people find that sleeping with earbuds in can help them to stay on their side throughout the night and avoid tossing and turning. This can lead to a more restful and comfortable sleep. If you are considering using earbuds for sleeping, it is important to choose a pair that is comfortable and will not fall out easily.
You may also want to consider using a sleep mask to help block out any unwanted light and noise.
