Very very pleased with this bike, my 9 year old son loves it and the way OutdoorToys. com packaged and sent the bike was really great too. Minimal assembly required, took my oldest son less than half hour to fit it up.

Delivered in 2 days instead of 4, right for my days off. Thank you, Walmart. I took this little scooter on trails with my dog. Scooter carries all things including water, and myself 70% of time (except for steep up-hills).

ERasily fits in trunk of car. Rides on gravel, rocks, asphalt. My Razor A6 seems to not handle off-road. Scooter is very light. I can handle it in one hand and the dog in the other hand. I am 5’5″ and scooter height is fine.

It might be too short for taller people.

This scooter is exactly what we had been searching for. Our property is not ideal for your average scooter, with lots of grass and gravel. Our, then, 7 year old had a very hard time getting his small scooter to go like he wanted it to.

This scooter was brought by Santa for Christmas a year ago and has been used just about every day since. He takes it for overnights at grandparents so he can ride there too. All the other kids love it and several have asked their parent to get them one.

The big wheels go great over any terrain they have come across. It is built extremely well. It has been thrown down, rained on, beat around, and even run over and there is only one small spot where the pain has chipped on it and it was actually delivered to us like that.

This was, by far, one of the best things Santa could have ever brought. If anything were to happen to this one, I would absolutely get another one without a second thought. Good job Razor on this scooter!!.

Bought this for a 9-year-old, who absolutely loves it. He can ride all over our dirt roads and even (somewhat) through the grass. He really likes the soft ride and that the platform has a grippy surface that prevents slipping when going over bumps.

The only thing he said would make it better is a kickstand. The scooter is quite a bit bigger and sturdier than the typical Razors. Several friends are now asking for these scooters after seeing ours.

Note that the tires felt full upon arrival, but we tested the pressure and they were actually very low. (Thanks to another reviewer for mentioning the tire pressure should be checked. ).

we just bought this for our 10 year who outgrew his big wheel. he’s on the smaller side and this seems like it will grow with him for the next few years at least. when it arrived, wasn’t the easiest thing to assemble but not Ikea level craziness! as soon as he started to ride it he loved it but i QUICKLY realized that the brakes were not great at all.

first, they were badly misaligned, i followed the directions in the instructions precisely but they still would not align well. one of the brake pads/levers refused to release from the rim. i adjusted again, did everything i could, watched the Madd Gear YouTube videos, finally took it over to the local bike shop to have them check it out and the prognosis as i expected: they said the brakes were just cheap and no matter what they would never close properly – BIG SAFETY CONCERN!!!!! – they also said that the plastic lever was bending so much (as my little boy gripped to engage the brakes) that there was a tremendous loss of power transfer from the grip to the brake and hence causing it not to close.

all said and done, $40 to have new, better brakes and levers put on it. if it wasn’t for the HUGE safety issue of the brakes not working properly i would give it 5 stars. disappointing. Madd Gear, i really want to give it a really good review but safety is too important to skimp on brakes for this!!.

A great alternative for a traditional bike for youth with limited balance,strength and coordination abilities. We bought this for our granddaughter who is 7 with a range of mobility abilities. She is terrified of a regular bike even with training wheels.

The very first day she rode this she was extremely extatic and wants to ride it every day. She even learn to do a 180 and gave it a special name. She wanted a different flag so we got her one that says Pirate Princess and she absolutely loves it.

It has restored her confidence and she is able to ride with her little brother who is 6 and is riding a 20 inch bike. This was the best thing we have ever purchased for her.

Three years ago my son suffered sudden paralysis in his left arm from a rare virus that mostly only affects children. He has come a long way and has regained most of his strength back in his arm; however he still has some deficits in strength and mobility.

I purchased this for my daughter who has been diagnosed with epilepsy & low muscle tone. This (toy) is absolutely perfect for her! It’s lots of fun and she loves driving it around, all the while, she’s getting some OT/PT work on her arms which really helps with her fine motor skills.

Likely the best Ninjago bike so far with working suspension and great figures. BUILD: It went together quickly, with some satisfying shaping and colors. PLAY: The bike is super playable, especially since the suspension on the back wheel works satisfyingly.

The minifigs included are great, including Nya as the only set of the wave with her. Unfortunately (and this is something I’ve heard other people struggling with as well) the machetes fall out of Nya’s lightsaber hilt very easily and sit quite loosely, so care must be taken when handling them.

DISPLAY: The color scheme looks very cohesive in my opinion, and sits nicely next to the other NINJAGO Island sets. The biggest drawback is that it is difficult to get the bike to stay upright, as no kickstand or anything was included to help it stay vertical.

The sail really makes this bike shine and make it one of the best NINJAGO bikes to date.

The oversized bike trend is pretty prominent in Ninjago, and it is a bit repetitive. This one however, is a pretty good one. The design is unique for the setting and it is cool that the sail can detach from the bike and be it’s own flyer.

The bike even looks good, and arguably better, without the flyer on it. The flyer itself is a simple build, but it is good and the paper sail is cool. The minifigures are pretty good. Nya is a cool exclusive, and while the other figures aren’t exclusive, it is the cheapest set they both appear in.

The value is is pretty good. It is a good size for the price, and the sail doesn’t detract from it. Despite all of that, there is one issue with the set that does hurt it: It has a weak balance. There isn’t a kickstand on the set, and it makes it a bit of a challenge to make it stand up, so it falls over easily.

Although it is possible to get it to stand, it is annoying when it falls. Overall, It’s a good set, but it the balancing issue is rather annoying to deal with.

Hello. I am a fairly experienced LEGO builder and a HUGE Ninjago fan. I bought this set, and it was actually better than I expected. The paper sail is cool, and Nya is exclusive. The tires are cool too.

I really like the fact that the sail can actually detach from the bike and become its own flier! I personally like the bike better with the sail on, but it’s cool without it too! The only issue is BALANCE.

It has no kickstand, but it’s not impossible to balance. It gets easier as you go. It is kind of hard to get it at first, but in the end, it becomes almost natural. I definitely would recommend this to a friend, because of its fine quality and cheap price.

Good investment.

I purchased two bikes, one for each of my kids. My husband and I went to put them together tonight and the bolt on the pink bike was totally stripped and immovable. We tried everything to try and remove the bolt to get the rear tire on.

Eventually, the bolt itself broke in half, rendering the axle useless. I don’t know what we’re going to do – we have two kids, one bike, and Easter is on Sunday. That said, even if the second bike had gone together without issue, I was disappointed to see how much of this bike is made out of plastic.

The entire seat, including the support, is made out of black plastic and relies upon a threaded piece of plastic to keep the seat up. If the quality of the metal on this thing is any indication, I don’t expect the seat assembly to last very long.

Our item was purchased 11/04/2021. It arrived 11/09/2021. I removed the bike from the package today. I laid out the parts for assembly. I took the two supplied Allen wrenches to loosen and remove the cap screw from the from axle assembly.

I immediately stripped the cap. Lead is not, I repeat not what should be used for the screw cap. My suggestion is to not completely tighten the screw cap down to the axle assembly. This way, your company may not have so many returns.

Manufacture the screw cap from a more sturdier metal. Do not tighten completely so that front axle assembly may be completed. As for “would I recommend the product?” I cannot answer this question because of the assembly difficulties.

If I had been able to assemble the bike, I would have been able to recommend it after the gift recipient has used it.

We received the balance bike as a gift for my son’s second Christmas. He absolutely loves it. His arms are still a little too short for it lengthwise but he sits in front of the seat. He can become very impatient if something takes too long to put together but there were simple drawings of what to take apart and what to put together so in total, it took less than 10 minutes.

The colors of the bike are very appealing and can’t wait to take it outside with him to test out the glow lights. In a complicated world, thanks so much for making a simple, functional toy.

I would recommend this for age 5. My 6 year old LOVES to drive this! PROS: well built, comes fully assembled, drives great on pavement, handles well and good tires, easy to charge CONS: little sluggish in grass and drains battery quicker, won’t go uphill on grass, hard to turn around since it doesnt have reverse feature and its heavy, was really hoping this would drive better off road and on hills.

All in all it’s fun and kids love it!.

The seatpost is a shock absorbing seatpost. I had to order a new one so I can make it go lower because with the shock on it you can’t. I am 5 ft 8 and I’ve been riding a bike since I was like three. Yes it’s a big bike and that’s what I needed for what I do going camping.

I lost my left leg in December 2019. In 2020 I was thinking about getting a electric wheelchair and I thought why would I want to do that when I can get a bike that is electric. Much easier to get on with one leg LOL.

Well I decided I’d buy more batteries so I have three batteries. I rode to the lake which is 30 miles up to Lakeside Beach State Park with the wagon and a load. There are not many giant Hills it’s not made for giant Hills Towing but it did.

Mine is 1000 w the second generation. I have taken it camping two years in a row. The last year I went to Lakeside Beach they kick you out after 2 weeks so I went to Hamlin Beach New York. And I did it all without pedaling 36 miles home.

The only thing I have had to do was change the brake pads. It has hydraulic brake fluid in it and I got oil on the brake pad very bad mistake so I had to buy more brake pads and clean the rotor but that’s the only problem I have had.

I thought it would be dead by now nobody put a bike through what I did and I would not recommend it but it’s an amazing bike with nearly 1,300 miles and still going strong. And my warranty ran out and they do have warranties now and you can extend them.

They still will sell me Parts even though the warranty is out so you have to email them and they will get back to you the next day. It’s hard to get parts I had to order brake pads from Australia but they have them back in now.

I think I bent the front rotor a little which is really nothing compared to all the stuff I went through it you couldn’t believe it I rode through the woods Hills and it’s not pedaling because I only have one leg.

The people who say it’s no good cuz they don’t know how to put it together they don’t know bikes do they? I’ve been working on bikes since I was like 5 years old. If I can drag the bike from my house or to the garage with one leg and flip it over and put it together I guess you were wrong to say it’s a big deal.

You don’t even need directions I never use directions LOL. All you had to do was put the front wheel on and handlebars what is so hard about that? Or maybe you can get one already assembled for 2,000 I don’t know I doubt it.

One thing I would like to change is the handlebars because long trips it’s not so good. I would highly recommend this bike and the people that don’t know how to put it together what’s that got to do with the bike? Mine’s 1,000 Watts the new ones are 750.

I got the UL listed Hammer. I was going to get the other Hammer with the larger motor but it was out of stock. I ordered the bike on Friday, it was shipped Monday and I had it Wednesday so 5 stars for that.

I wish Ecotric had a better size chart instead of having the info buried in the FAQ section. After ordering I saw a vid by a guy who’s pretty tall and I think he said that you need to be at least 6′.

I am 5′ 8 1/2″ or so I thought. I measured myself for the first time in decades and I shrank an inch but old people do this. I can ride the bike fine but i have to be on tiptoes if I’m in the seat at a stop sign.

I am getting used to it but some day it might catch up with me. If you are smaller than me do not get this bike. I’ve ridden it about 100 miles now with my longest trip being 19 miles and I still had 2 bars of battery capacity left.

I was mostly on level 4 or 5 and the bike will do 26 mph if you assist which is an easy peddle on flat ground. It will hold that speed without pedaling if it’s really flat. If you try to go faster then you’re pedaling really fast which becomes counter productive.

I have to climb two really steep hills right up to the house so I’m still experimenting with how much range I have. The bike weighs 69 pounds which is lighter than some but you do not want to be going up any hill without assist.

The gorilla in the room would be the comparison with the non UL Hammer with the 1000 watt motor. My bike is pretty fast with good power and will do most hills under power alone. Both bikes use the same battery so one could surmise that my bike would have more reserve capacity due to the 750 watt motor.

It’s a nice comfy ride and a good value for the bucks.

The bike was bought for a 7th birthday, he is 127cm tall. It is a good fit for him, maybe a little big/ heavy for shifting the bike around doing freestyle tricks. We took the bike to a BMX dirt track and the bike was ok for size, maybe a little big.

His older brother 9 and about 140cm looked a good fit on it in terms of he could move the bike around a bit better. The bike was shipped from Germany, it arrived in Ireland 36 hours after being ordered, impressive!, no import taxes.

The assembly of the bike was very simple and anybody who can use a wrench (10, 15, 17) and an Allen key (5,6) can do it. I was a little wary of assembling the bike myself but it was very straight forward, I am not a tradesman and do practically zero handyman work.

One tip I would give is to put the brake cable into the brake lever before bolting on the handlebars. I didn’t do this and spent a bit of time messing around with the brake cable trying to adjust the brakes and get them set up properly, something I could have avoided I think.

Still I know a bit more about haw to adjust brakes now. There’s plenty of useful assembly videos on YouTube. Especially check out fitting pedals. The bike is not light and feels solid like the frame is designed to be used for freestyle BMX.

Time will tell how the bike stands up to use. From first impressions it seems a good starter BMX, the price is very good considering its generally hard to get properly spec’d starter BMX’s for less than €350-€400.

Let me start by saying usually Adventure Force brand at Walmart makes good quality toys for less, which is why I bought this for my son. Unfortunately, he had it in two pieces by the time we got home.

The back part broke off before I could even scan it. I took it as a loss because we’d already purchased it. For the price, I think it could’ve been made a lot better!.

Awesome little motorbikes. We used these on a birthday cake and they have been played with constantly since. A very happy Mr 6 even though we didn’t end up with his wished for ‘yellow motorbike’ and the random selection.

Quite good quality for the price point too.

My 7 year old loves this bike. He calls it his BMX bike. Although it isnt a BMX bike, it makes him happy so I go with it. The bike is solid and came in a large unmarked box which made it easy to surprise him.

For the price of the bike I am impressed by the quality. Assembly was simple and took about 30 minutes. The seats and handlebars are easily adjustable as my son gets taller which is nice. Additionally there are grips on the handlebars that my son says are uncomfortable to grab so I purchased some cheap replacements.

The bike has a kickstand which is great to protect the frame from my son dropping it on the ground and has one a hand brake on the left and pedal brakes. My son is used to the pedal brakes so Im not concerned about him falling.

The tires seem well made and the frame is sturdy. My son said the seat is a little uncomfortable so I purchased a cushy addition for him. All in all a great bang for the buck!.

My daughter has been wanting a new bike and although this is technically a boys bike, she loves the color red and she said her brother can have it when he’s old enough to ride it. It’s a good bike. It was easy to put together.

It’s sturdy, and she can ride through the grass in the yard with this one, which she couldn’t do with her old bike. So the tires are good. She also loves the brake on the handle. I know most bikes have that now but her old one didn’t.

It also has pedal brakes which will be good when my son starts to ride it.

Great entry+ trail, unpaved road, off road grass/gravel, or paved trail bike. Go with the sizing per Cannondale website and then look on YouTube to adjust seat height, seat forward aft position. I went with Large at first and it was slightly too small.

Exchanged for XL frame and REI made it really easy and good exchange! Glad I bought at REI. Once I got XL home adjusted brake lever and shifter lever position, seat height, and seat a little backward.

Now I don’t have numb hands or pelvic area and legs feel even work on quads and hamstrings. Get the correct size and fiddle around with adjustments. it makes a good positive difference. I like the Cannondale trail 6.

Nice bike so far. Decent gearing for riding on flat road/trail and good gearing for off road or up trail or up hills.

I bought this bike 3 months ago and it’s a awesome bike for the price! I ride this bike hard and it holds up good. Upgraded to tubeless tires and rims and some Chester pedals with ergon grips and this bike is amazing.

The fork is great you just have to tune it a bit to get the most of it. But when you do, your going to feel like 100mm of travel is perfect. I find myself ride this bike more then my 130mm travel bike.

Also the 2x drivetrain is great. At first glance I thought that I was going to have a hard time with it but I was wrong. I had no chain drop and the gear ratio is great for the climbing I do. And yes 1x Drivetrain would be better but you really don’t need it you can use a old inertube as a chain stay protector.

This bike is perfect. Yes you are limited to fork options. But there is still a lot of good forks in the market like a suntor 120mm air fork. But if your in a budget like I am. The 100mm fork is perfect.

Also I just love hardtails. .

I bought these for my 8th grade/13 year old son to wear under football pads. He said they’re the most comfortable underwear & wants to replace all his with this style and brand. Boy better get a JOB (LOL)! The price is right for sportswear.

If you’ve got a kid who’s a decent rider and live somewhere with hills, then you really need a bike with a *few* speeds, but also don’t want to overwhelm them with too much shifting. For me the IDEAL solution is a kids bike with an internally geared hub, however there are surprisingly few choices on the market.

There’s the Early Rider Belter 24, but c’mon, what 7 year old belongs on a $1000 aluminum bike? (Answer: none!) There’s also the Priority Start, which to be fair looks like a pretty darn great bike too with its slick belt drive, however at a comparable price point this Meerkat comes with a 5- instead of 3-speed hub and the hydraulic disc brakes are real icing on the cake! This makes it really, for all intents and purposes, as great a bike as exists for a kid and frankly as good if not better than most adult bikes that cost twice as much! I did decide to swap out the rear sprocket for a 20t (comes with 19t) to lower the gearing a tad for even more climbing torque, but that’s minor tweak specifically for our hilly terrain.

Whatever the case, the quality is there, the versatility is there, and the value is spectacular. I stand by my decision that for a young rider, this is as good as it gets!.

Hello, we started with an Owl 3 speed for my son who runs in the 90% for height. He was able to ride it for two years and then hand it down to his sister who is 2 years younger. She is 40% for height.

She rode for 1. 5 years. The owl fit both kids well and required minimal maintenance. We really appreciated the kid sized brakes and shifter. We plan to return it for the reride program. My son moved up to a specialized riprock with mid fat MTN tires.

One opportunity to improve the owl would be to offer a more aggressive trail or MTN tire as an option. Replacing a pair of tires on a new bike adds a fair bit of cost, inconvenience, and waste. I wanted a light bike for my daughter.

She is plenty strong, but I just felt she would benefit. Unfortunately, the two bikes we liked that were under 20 lbs were long leadtime. The Meerkat was the runner up, and won because it was readily available.

The tires on the Meerkat are much better than the owl. The overall construction and brakes are awesome. The one disappointment is the shifter. Shifting from 2 to 1 is a really long travel. My daughter’s thumb is not long enough to do it without moving her hand too.

Shifting is a bit tricky and frustrating when climbing a hill. Regardless, she has fun and we are looking forward to many more miles on a Cleary.

I Purchased a Meerkat 26. While assembling I found that the spokes slightly hit the disc brake casing, and while the video on the support page explained how to set the disc brakes that didn’t help. I called and left a message on a voicemail and was called back in about 30 minutes.

I was told 2 things. 1. These bikes are brought in from a producer and Cleary does not check them before going out so they can have defects sometimes. I get it; they get the box, they ship the box. But odd stance from the woman representing the company.

2. That the bikes are meant to be assembled by bike professionals despite what the website say. She said she was a bike shop owner who would never recommend buying direct and that I should pay a local bike shop to perform all the necessary adjustments, a direct consumer couldn’t possibly do that and buying direct was not recommended.

Her thought was that the wheel was not ‘true’ an needed to be trued but that Cleary would not cover that cost because its part of the bike assembly that always has to be done on a new bike and that I need special tools to do it.

Hence why nobody should build the bike themselves.

Frame and geometry The Marin San Quentin offers modern aggressive geometry. The relatively steep seat angle really helps with climbs, while the slack head angle helps you descend with confidence. The first thing I noticed when I got mine was how much the frame sparkled in the sun.

I am 11 years old, 150cm tall (pretty short) and around 38kg (very light) so I got the small frame size. I think the reach is the right size for me but bigger people might feel cramped. One thing I think Marin should change in terms of geometry is the low stack which puts more of your weight over the front and can give you the feeling of going over the bars.

You can make this better though by putting all the spacers underneath the stem. I also think Marin should change the chainstay length over the different sizes to make every size feel equally as playful and the same.

The frame is about as compliant as most other aluminum hardtails but the tires kind of help with smoothing everything out. I like how it has a tapered headtube and a threaded bottom bracket. There is room for a large water bottle in the front triangle but there are no other bolts to store anything else.

The frame also has mounts for a chain guide and a bashguard. It is good that it has chainstay protection, but in the first week of riding the chain had already made a hole in it. Cable routing is okay but not amazing.

Components For the price, you get pretty good specs: Fork Instead of smoothly going through its travel, the Rockshox Recon fork kind of steps through it. Out of the five clicks of rebound the slowest two are pretty much unusable because of how ridiculously slow they are although 130mm of travel is the perfect amount, not too much but not too little.

But apart from that, the fork is good for the price. Shifter and derailleur The Shimano Deore shifter feels good and the derailleur shifts smoothly. Brakes The 2 piston hydraulic brakes feel good for me but someone heavier will probably need more power.

Dropper post The dropper post has had no problems so far and works pretty well, although the cable for it is far too long. Tires A big thing that I think I will need to upgrade are the tires. The tires are wire bead so you can’t run them tubeless, they are very heavy, they have good braking traction but are a bit unpredictable when cornering, the carcass is pretty flexible which smoothes out the bumps but it makes the tire want to roll a lot.

Rotors On bicycles online it says that the front rotor is 180mm and the rear is 160mm but on my bike it came with 180mm front and rear. I’m not sure if it was just my bike that came with a bigger rear rotor, but bigger rotors have more stopping power.

The cranks and bottom bracket are not listed on bicycles online’s website but they are both samox. Every other component works really well and hasn’t had any problems. Conclusion Most of the problems with this bike are so small that I almost forgot some of them.

The only real complaint is the tires and the stack height. Once you’re on the trails with this bike you just forget about all the little things and ride. The Marin San Quentin feels like a hardtail should feel.

It teaches you valuable skills like line choice and jumping. I recommend this bike for anyone who wants an aggressive hardtail at a reasonable price and who wants to push their bike hard.

Im really chuffed with the new bike. Glad I went with this Marin from bicycles online as it was a big call for me to spend this much. Coming from a beginner XC hardtail this bike feels insane and leaps and bounds better.

I honestly love this bike so much. I was in between sizes so went with the smaller size of the two which was choosing the large for me and that’s definitely the right choice if you want to be playful and poppy instead of big planted feel.

In terms of building the bike it was pretty easy, I’m really happy that the bike was packaged with reusable/recyclable materials: it pretty much came with 25 velcro frame straps for all the packless riding situations.

I did however change the brakes straight away as I had some better ones and wasn’t too keen on the beginner Shimano brakes this bike came with, although they do seem far better than any tektro brakes.

The bike coming with the lil torque wrench and other tools was really nice and the plastic pedals it came with are actually so good I might run them on my BMX bike (put my own pedals on this bike straight away).

It didn’t come with a shock pump though so you’ll need to get one to set up your sag and all that goodness. Overall I have 2 minor downsides: firstly the dropper cable came way too long, I had to cut about 250mm off to make it look neat.

Secondly, the rear brake cable came out of the frame on the left side when it would have been better to come out the right side with the dropper so you can run them together. When I changed my brakes I fixed this, but it could be quite annoying to anyone who enjoys a tidy cockpit.

Both of these things are easy easy fixes tho, and Shimano brakes are real easy to bleed if you swap the brake hose to the other outlet from the frame. So overall bike is fully sick 10/10 would recommend, and getting it from bicycles online is definitely worth it for the better experience (and crazy fast shipping-my bike got to me in QLD the day after dispatch).
