Best Dill Sauce For Salmon (2024 Updated)

Whomever packed this was not very bright being 2 GLASS bottles placed in plastic bag to ship with no bubble wrap. Received with 1 bottle shattered in a million pieces with liquid oozing from the pkg.

Huge MESS of broken glass mixed in with lemon dill sauce. Not pleased at all! Tried uploading photo but it wouldnt let me.

I had this for the first time at a friend’s place on baked Salmon. It was terrific and gave the salmon an amazing flavor. It’s also great on shrimp and chicken.

My husband loves this sauce on his baked salmon. We have been using this brand for several years.

This fish sauce is clear and has nice golden tone under light. It has a mile and savory anchovy odor, but not offensive. The taste is strong, a clean umami flavor like naturally formed MSG with a tad of sweetness.

Love that there’s flying fish sauce at Walmart! This is one of the key ingredients used by a lot of Asian recipes. It’s perfectly package which I totally appreciate!

I use this in potato salad, tuna salad, and any thing calling for a hint of mustard. The dill pickle is a new idea for me, I was using just the dill mustard, and would have to add pickle if needed in recipe.

This takes that step out all together. This is a plus for any recipe calling this or add too spice things up a bit. I’m making a chicken salad, will use this tomorrow ~ I let it stand in the fridge for at least 12 ~ 24 hours to meld all the flavors ~ I can’t wait, so yummy ~ ///=^} ~.

This is a birthday gift for my friend who loves pickles. It’s something different so hopefully she likes it. We’ll find out in a week if she likes it. Product came quickly. Only other thing was that some of the mustard had come out from under the lid.

I washed it off and cleaned under the lid without taking the lid off.

This is the best mustard That I buy regularly although the price at Schaller and Weber is 1$ higher than at a local grocery a block away. However, they are often out of this filled mustard which is perfect for cold cuts and fish.

This is a great mustard – creamy, not too hot, and filled with the taste of capers and dill. MAkes a plain ham sandwhich an extraordinary culinary event – really! Hard to find in most grocery stores now (don’t know why) although other flavors by this manufacturer are still carried.

I tried many sources and Walmart had it in stock and at great pricing for a pack of twelve. I highly recommend this product and was so happy to find it on Walmart’s website.

Creamy delicious yellow mustard with lots of hot jalapeño kick! I use it on everything and love it. I go through a lot! I will keep buying this as long as it’s available. I adore mustard and this is the best jalapeño mustard out there.

I even use it as salad dressing! Great with sausages too!.

We bought the Heinz hot relish for the first time last month. My husband is a big spice fiend and I was until I became pregnant! This relish has a good spicy heat to it and surprised me by how hot it was.

I was expecting a little zing but they did not disappoint with the heat level. My spice tolerance has drastically decreased while pregnant however I was able to enjoy a little of this before I found it too spicy.

It would likely pack too much of a punch for kids and those with sensitive stomachs or prone to heartburn. The flavor is fantastic and the texture is near, if not absolutely, identical to the regular Heinz relish.

The spicy relish has some red flecks in it but otherwise looks very similar to regular Heinz relish. Great product and delicious!.

I’m apparently, unbeknownst to me, a bit of a dill relish snob. Historically I’ve always gone for the smaller glass jars of Mt. Olive or Vlasic dill relish. I’ve never gotten any complaints. Walmart wouldn’t deliver either of my preferred dills so I reluctantly ordered this life-time supply (they only ship pairs of bottles) of dill.

It IS Heinz after all. How bad could it be? Then again dill relish “ain’t” tomato ketchup (catsup). The dill arrived just in time for me to add it to a luncheon sandwich. As is often the case with me I was HORRIBLY disappointed.

I could not discern ANY noticeable difference between the Heinz and my previously preferred brands. Boy, do I feel like. me. I feel a raft of dill relish related food offering headed my way in the IMMEDIATE future.

I appreciate mustard much more now than I used to as a kid. Back then it was just another thing you just had to add to a burger, along with mustard and relish, but now that I’m older I can really appreciate its “spiciness” and enjoy it much better with meats and in sandwiches in general than using the tried and true method of using ketchup as a condiment for everything.

It’s still not my favourite condiment, but it really does work really well with food. Great product, lasts long, and you only need a little to get the full flavour you need.

Great flavor with the right amount of sweetness. This relish adds the right amount of tangy sweetness. Not only is the flavor great but add just the right amount of texture to any chicken or tuna salad all for a reasonable price.

Great for hot dogs and I like to put this in my tuna salads or in chicken salad for a more savory flavor. I like it cold and when I use it. Love the dill flavor! Good crunch as well which for pickle products is a must have for me! Good brand to use compared to other brands in the grocery store!.

I use this for my potato salad. Only this brand. It really enhances the taste of the salad. Easy to open packaging. Easy to find at any store. Somewhat healthy and not too sweet. I will always buy this for potato salad.

This has amazing flavor and is great when used as an additional item to your marinade recipe. This item has become a staple piece in my home used for many things such as burgers, potato salads, marinades.

Does anyone remember those “adult-style” Lunchables from back in the day that only came with crackers and cheese and it also had an Andes mint? Well they used to have a little package of mustard that you would crack and then squeeze out the middle.

Sounds weird, I know, but this mustard tastes just like that! Its really delicious. Its a pretty mild mustard. It’s perfect to replace mayo with in a sandwich. I hope they never stop selling it. It’s so good!.

I love this stuff! Discovered it when a friend brought it on a camping trip and bought my own bottle the day we got home. It’s especially good on beer brats but I’ll also put it on hotdogs, sandwiches, and use as a dipping sauce.

Not a connoisseur of fish sauce, but it seems similar to the few others I’ve had except maybe more salty and less umami. Will do the job in kimchi, where most of it is going to be used. __PACKAGING CAUTION: Don’t cut the hinge on the black plastic cap trying to get a knife under the heavy-duty black plastic capsule.

And once you get rid of that, you’re done, the cap doesn’t unscrew and there’s no inner security seal, you just shake out a few drops at a time. Actually handier.

This smells so hideous that I literally attempted to wipe off my food. I can still recall the smell – it smells like three-day-old fish that wasn’t properly refrigerated. If you want to keep your appetite, avoid this.

I’d give it -5 stars if I could.

While I can’t breathe in the direct aroma of this fish sauce, many of my Thai inspired dishes would not taste right without it. It adds an authentic flavor to coconut chicken soup and some curry dishes.

Be careful!! Add a little and add more to taste.

I love this fish sauce, it tastes the best of all the fish sauces I’ve tried. I hate the smell of bad fish sauce it’s so fishy! It’s really expensive about 3x the price of other fish sauces but it’s really amazing and worth the price so that you don’t stink up your whole house.

I use this brand primarily for making all of my dipping sauces.

I’m not pregnant anymore, so this review is legitimate. I Love eating these whole! I could munch on pickles for hours. gross, I know. They are small enough that one of them minced up is the perfect amount for egg salad or tuna sandwiches.
