20 Best Dice On Mario Party (2023 Updated)

This was one of my most favorite Nintendo Ds games ever played! I used to play this game religiously on my 2ds xl when I was younger. It was very fun to play and the challenges were an interesting detail.

It was kind of challenging when I was younger, but now it’s pretty easy because I’ve grown to play a lot more games over time. I would recommend this to gamers who are interested in nostalgia.

This game is very good! It has Mario and his best friends. Such as, yoshi, peach, donkey kong, daisy, wario, yellow yoshi, blue yoshi, light blue yoshi toad, yellow toad, blue toad, green toad,loops, goomba, blue goomba (the one from level 2) , pirahna’s plant, toadsworth, waluigi, bowser, bowser jr.

, baby mario, baby donkey kong, mini mario, metal mario, dry bones, thwomp, wiggler, wiggler (angry), and last but not least, lu -cario from the pokemon series. It is fun! Ok bye.

This is actually one of my favorite Mario Parties believe it or not. It was a fun game, had fun boards and you can play multiplayer. I used to be able to connect to my friends ds or 3ds and we could play the game together up to 4 players.

It was super fun having all of us connected and all of us having our own handheld system.

It is NOT a 4 count. You only get 2 boxes and 2 toppers NOT 4 boxes as the description leads you to believe. Other than that, good size, good quality.

These were perfect for my Mario themed party. They were easy to assemble and were great quality.

I bought this game quite a while ago and since then have only played it a handful of times. I have only tried Party mode for the game so I have not done an in-depth playthrough of the game but in my opinion it’s the weakest game in the Mario Party Franchise that I’ve played.

The gameplay isn’t necessarily bad and it does offer a unique take on the way Mario Party is played. However Party mode has you work as a team and loses the competitive aspect of the game which has made the series so much fun for me and my friends.

Overall not a bad game, worth a try if you’re a die-hard Mario fan or want to play a cooperative game with younger kids. Not great for competitive gamers or if you’re looking to play a game with your friends that is competitive, Mario Party 8 is a much better game for the latter.

This Game is very fun to play. You can play alone vs the compute or play with a second player as a partner or against him or her or play with 4 players total and just have a blast, requirements for the game play is simply a Wii remote and nun chuck per player.

Depending on the game you are playing you may or may not need the nun chuck. The game being sold says for sale and use only in Singapore, Malaysia, UAE and Saudi Arabia however it worked perfectly with my USA NTSC Wii console located in Los Angeles CA.

My Wii is not modified at all and hasn’t been updated in years as Nintendo removed firmware support for the system years ago. I received the game on 12/18/2017 just in time for some Christmas eve fun though I have a ps4 and a switch a modified N64 with HDMI support a GameCube with HDMI adapter support a NES classic, SNES Classic and a PS2 with component cable.

This game is so much fun!! It feels so nostalgic playing this again on the Wii, and the more people you play with the more fun!! The disc was in great shape with no smudges or scratches. I definitely recommend Mario Party 9 to anyone and everyone!.

Emphasis on joy-con focused. Look at the cover! You will need a single joy-con for every player and be prepared to use it because the wrist strap is recommended and for myriad good reasons. You are encouraged to move a decent bit and thriving in the variety of game modes and mini games is going to stimulate and demand mastering a bunch of the potential the little joy-con offers.

If you want technical button input mini games Super Mario Party doesn’t offer much. Consider the similarly named Mario Party Superstars which supports all controller types and offers zero motion mini games to my recollection.

Something else to consider is that since joy-cons are easier to travel with than fuller controllers. You can easily equip four players if you game while traveling and if you’re getting the digital version (2.

8GB v1. 1. 0) it may always be on your Switch for easy access. This game wholeheartedly satisfies utilizing a single joy-con per player in a Mario Party game verse. Several game modes to master, online gameplay has been smooth and un-irritating, tons and tons of motion action in a surprising evolution to Mario Party that isn’t too far detached from its roots.

This might be my favorite Mario Party game. Nintendo finally returned Mario Party to its classic form. The main mode involved traversing a multi-route board, collecting coins to trade in for a star, and collecting stars to win the game.

No more shared carts. Everyone can go their own path. Although they redid how the points system works (for example, 10 coins buys a star, not 20 coins), it all seems to work out in the end. If you enjoyed a group aspect of the 2 previous 2 Mario games, and you would like a more routes in your boards, partner party might be the game mode for you.

The player is paired up with a partner, they share dice rolls and they can roam the board freely. Besides the 2 main modes of Mario Party and Partner Party, if you like the minigames but don’t like the boards, there are plenty of other options.

River Survival has a team of 4 traversing down a rapids river, racing to meet the finish line before time runs out, extending their time with 4-player co-op minigames. Sound stage is a series of fun rhythm based motion games.

Challenge Road challenges players not only to win the minigames, but also to reach certain goals, sometimes even asking for perfection. Speaking of minigames, Super Mario Party manages to balance motion control minigames and button pressing minigames perfectly, something the previous few Mario Party games struggled to do.

I didn’t get to play in Toad’s Rec Room because I don’t know someone else locally with a Switch and Super Mario Party, but from what I’ve seen, it looks like mad fun. Super Mario Party starts the player out with 16 characters, then has the player unlock another 4 characters, for a grand total of 20 characters.

The most stand out character would have to be Bowser because this is first game in which Bowser is a playable character (not counting Mario Party 10 because he was still an enemy character). In this Mario Party game, players choose their character right after the home screen, unlike previous Mario Party games, in which character selection happened after mode selection.

New to this version of Mario Party is that all the characters comes with special dice, which can either give you coins instead of spaces or gives a different balances of spaces moved. Now character selection is not just merely choosing a favorite character, but it now involves choosing based off their dice.

Furthermore, the board game modes can give the player the option to call other characters as allies. When the player calls upon these allies, they get their dice, giving them more dice options. This gives the game a layer of complexity without overdoing it on dice, like Mario Party 4 did.

Of course, Super Mario Party’s biggest weakness is the small amount of game boards. Both Mario Party and Partner Party have only 4 game boards. In all honesty, though the past few Mario Party games have suffered from this, and only the Nintendo 64 and GameCube Mario Party games escape it.

Besides this glaring weakness, I can easily declare Super Mario Party my favorite Mario Party.

This game came out YEARS ago. Did that surprise you parents and grandparents? I can totally see little Dalton asking for Mario Party Superstars for a gift and being disappointed because all his friends got it and you just bought him this game, Super Mario Party.

I don’t know what the marketing team was thinking making the game titles so similar however, I think both are a must have. This game is more towards the play style that anyone can play and Mario Party Superstars is more button mash heavy and pretty much a remake of 1, 2 and 3 on the N64.

This game has a unique multiplayer mode that I think is more diverse for new players and veterens and Nintendo just recently added online for almost every gameplay option! Pick this one up too.

Very good return to form for Mario Party finally!!! I’ve been with the series since the start, and this game I feel is what the series has been needing for quite some time. A great celebration of the series as a whole (though the focus is more on the N64 titles, which I’m okay with), I think it really delivers what Top 100 failed to do: Give us a good proper Mario Party that celebrates the series.

My personal opinions, there are some mini-games I do wish this game chose over the ones it did, but it has a solid line-up overall I feel. They did great with the boards, and even the ones I was meh about in their original incarnations, what they did to rebalance and fix those boards, they did an excellent job here.

The people who worked on this I feel really gets the series. I do think 5 boards is a bit small (iirc, the first Mario Party had 8), so I hope to see more boards in DLC, but what they have are a lot of fun.

The remastered music is great too. I love what they did with the boards, even giving nice remixes for the last 5 turns. I enjoy you can choose to listen to the original board tracks too once you beat a board.

I also really love that they took their time to remaster every song from every mini-game chosen, unlike the Top 100. I’ll even go as far to say that some of the few things I did enjoy in Super Mario Party, they brought back into this game, while leaving the stuff I found myself not liking, out.

The pacing is SO much faster like the older titles, and you’re not having to wait out so many unnecessary animations just to make the game longer. 10 turns should not take an hour! I also really like that they rebalanced the items system so it’s not completely broken like in Super.

It feels much more balanced and it’s nice to see stars at 20 coins again, and Golden Pipes not being super busted. While there’s still a couple of games in this series I do prefer, I definitely think this is a top Mario Party and the best this series has had to offer for a long time.

If you’re a fan of the series, I highly recommend picking it up, I really do think there’s something in here for every fan, both old and new.

If you’ve been waiting for a Mario Party game in the vein of the classics without all the gimmicks (e. g. , no moving around the board on a shared vehicle, no “allies”, no grid-based boards, etc. ), Mario Party Superstars is for you.

While it only has five boards, which are all from Mario Party 1, 2, and 3, they are some of the most fun and memorable boards (Peach’s Birthday Cake and Horror Land are standouts). It has countless minigames from Mario Party 1 through 10, and you will not find yourself repeating the same minigame two or three times in one game like in Super Mario Party.

This game is also built from the ground up for online multiplayer, and making rooms, inviting friends, and saved games in case of disconnects are huge advances from Super Mario Party. However, if your Internet is poor or your WiFi signal is spotty, you may want to utilize a wired LAN connection to your Switch (USB-to-LAN adapter required for older Switch models).

The game could use more extras and customizations (e. g. , more boards, more music choices within the boards, costumes, more characters), but overall, it is a return to form for Mario Party. Let’s hope Nintendo keeps up the great work in future iterations.

I love classic Mario Party. I think it’s some of the most fun you can have in a party game, so I am extremely glad to see the series go back to its classic roots. Mario Party has not been good since NDCube picked it up, with them trying out new things that nobody really asked for, and it fails as a result.

But with Superstars, the classic Mario Party that everybody loves is back. They played this game pretty safe, with pretty much no new ideas or innovation, but that’s actually alright for this game. I would much prefer a culmination of the best things about the series than a new and bad idea once again.

Plus, I highly recommend this game over Super Mario Party for the Switch as well. Mario Party Superstars has more boards, minigames, and much more options than Super does. Online play is better in Superstars as well.

So in my opinion, this is the obvious choice for the Switch if you’re looking into some chaotic fun to play with friends and family.

Mario Party has always been a popular yet criticized series for Nintendo systems. Mario Party 4 is definitely a phenomenal game and perhaps the best Mario Party game. The local multiplayer and mini games featured here are astonishing.

Even playing single player the game is challenging, competitive and a genuine blast. Any GameCube enthusiast should have this game in their collection. You won’t be disappointed.

I am obsessed with ALL the Mario Party games as they are so fun to play with other people. I had never played this one before so I was eager to try it. It’s super fun and I’m happy I bought it. Wow! What a game. What a pacesetter to the beginning of revolutionary Mario Party for GameCube Nintendo History! (Nintendo GameCube was simply the greatest console they’ve ever made to date – hands down, it’ll be hard to beat as far as I can tell – it’s so good they keep bringing back pieces and parts of its legacy and remaking its games because it was so awesome, and people still love it but don’t know the history behind this legendary console, regardless.

) Fun! Multiplayer! Enthralling! A great first step in the FOUR GAME MARIO PARTY SERIES! This is the only Nintendo Console to date to have FOUR MARIO PARTY GAMES MADE FOR IT!!! WHY? BECAUSE THE Nintendo GameCube IS A LEGEND!!! Anyways, graphics are very rounded and soft as you’d expect in GameCube’s first attempts at legendary games and game series, but this is definitely a piece you’d want in your collection.

Get them while they’re hot, and lower priced than released, but before they spike up to demand and rareness! This will be the it game to own for vintage collectors and casual gamers alike.

My grandson loves this game. We play together with his Nana. So much fun. The mini games are challenging and not to difficult. We love all the different boards and ways to play. The disc, booklet and case are in excellent condition.

These games are amazing! I am very happy that you can be any character of your choice while playing as one. I do not have a Wii U but if I did and had NSMBU or NSLU I would still get NSMBU Deluxe! I have been a fan of Mario games since I played Super Mario Bros 3, and this game continues to make me feel a rush of joy and excitement after beating a level.

I know that this is a great game for anyone! If you are not the best at platformers or need a relaxing time this game is here. It has puzzles that are not too hard but not punishing that make you feel rewarded when solving them.

This game is also a masterpiece crafted by Nintendo. The level design is amazing and can now be loved by people like me that do not have a Wii U. Overall this is a top-notch game that will always be special to me for a long time to come.

If I had to say the thing that I like the best about this game it would be New Super Luigi U. I Love how the game is fast-paced and different from the rest of the series. The 100 timer and short levels are very fun.

And everything about New Super Mario Bros U is also AMAZING!.

You would think Mario Party 7 would be like all the other Mairo Party games, but i was so surprised with this!! The story plot is a cute, and fun twist on an old classic concept! I bought this game for my younger cousin and i was a little nervous cause I bought the used version, but the game was in perfect condition, not even a scratch, and then we inspected the Mic, and that was perfect as well! I was so happy!! My cousin loved the game it was so much fun and the Mic added a new element that now we probably won’t go back to Mario Party 6! For anyone who is a new or old fan of the Party game series and has never played 7, I would absolutely recommend it!.

This game was my childhood. We were to poor to buy the games so we would walk to Albertsons. (the everything generic grocery store) Inside they had a tiny, barely bigger than a janitors closet, movie&video game rental bodega.

It wasn’t a blockbuster that would’ve still been too expensive. And my brother and I would rent 2 video games for a $1 each for a week. (: Mario party was always automatically one of the two, then tried a new one each time.

It’s fun no matter if you play single player or with your best friends. I always enjoy coming back from college on break and spending a night playing Mario Party. The basic objective of the game is to collect the most stars.

You hit a dice and go around a board setup with adventure at every turn. After each player hits the dice once a mini game is played. The winner of the mini game wins 10 coins in most situations. This process is repeated for a specified amount of turns with surprises at every corner.

-Pros- This game is the ultimate party game. This game is best utilized when you play with family and friends. There is a variety of turns to choose from, so you are basically in control of how long you play.

There are hours and hours of fun and different maps to pick from. The mini game mode is fun single player addition where you play through all the mini games. -Cons- Too much time in front of a tv 😛 Lasting Impression: If your looking for a blast from the past, Mario Party is your best friend.

I have begun my crusade against the rambunctious heathens that run rampant at my home. Within a couple bouts of mario party 5 i shall smite the unworthy and claim my rightful place on the throne of nostalgia.

I have been looking for this game EVERYWHERE! First I tried Gamestop, and they had one in stock, but when I went to play it. NOTHING. I looked around everywhere starting to lose confidence that I would never be able to play this game.

Then for my birthday my boyfriend bought me Mario Party 5 from DK Oldies. The case was in MINT condition, and it even came with a manual!! I started to worry if it was going to work or not. My boyfriend said that they had a amazing return policy in case it didn’t.

There was nothing to lose. Needless to say, I put my disc in, turned the gamecube on, and I was in instant disbelief. IT WORKS!! The graphics are amazing, I love the vibrant colors and it is a blast to play.

This was a game I had and played a lot with my family when I was younger. I recently bought it so I could play with my younger siblings. They loved it and had tons of fun, just like I did when I was their age.

I absolutely love all the Mario party games. Brings back such found childhood memories and they’re actually the few games I can body my children in!! This mom does NOT take it easy on the kiddos lol!!! Among this a few of the other family favorites of ours are, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, all the just dances, and anything Mario related! If you haven’t tried this game out but at one point contemplated purchasing, I am telling you BUY THE GAME.

Whether it’s for you and your kids to have some more fun together or just for yourself and your inner child to enjoy a good game it doesn’t matter just go for it already!!. This game is a multi-player game not entirely sure how many players max but i know you can play with 4 thats what we do.

I have been playing Mario Party games since the days of the Gamecube. I own just about every game that has came out under the Mario Party line. I would say the last game (Mario Party 9) was pretty lack luster, and Mario Party 10 puts the nail in the coffin.

Do not get me wrong. This game features a lot of well thought out mini games, and they can be very fun and challenging. However the game as a whole does not feel like you have much control over how you win.

The game often throws in “luck based” features, that can make the game seem extremely unfair at times. The game board that you play on is also very simplified and instead of racing around the board to gain more stars you move as a group.

Overall the mini games are great as always, and your friends will have fun playing them. However the luck based factor of this game really leaves you not wanting to pick up this game again. I really hope Nintendo fixes these problems in their next installment.

Mario Party has always been one of the best games around, an easy way to have fun. As a party game obviously playing with others is the best part of it, but it manages to be fun even against the computer.

The 10th version doesn’t have the charm of some of the earlier ones, but it still provides a good deal of enjoyment. If you own one of the older ones though, this one doesn’t necessarily offer that much difference to make it worth a full price purchase.

But for people who are big fans of the series, it lives up to those expectations. Donkey Kong is back, which is nice. For those who don’t know, you go around a board against 3 other players, with various minigames along the way.

While its fun I’d still rather play one of the first couple versions in the series. The new mode is Bowser Party, where a 5th player can control Bowser trying to defeat all four of the other players.

Its nothing earth shattering, but a nice little extra mode to have.

Just like all the Mario party games this was a fun one. The only thing was I’m used to playing on a big screen with friends. With this one you all had to link up and play on your own devices. Still worth playing though.

This was by far one of the biggest hits when I bought it for my super amazingly good at gaming daughter. She is some sort of whiz kid from what I’m told because she’s beat Zelda windwaker before the age of 3 aswell as Mario 3D world she had beat both the games about 5 times each and just kept restarting them.

When I brought this game home? She was so excited!!! Finally a game with her buddies that is new! She was literally getting so excited just trying to figure out which character she wanted to be as she’s obsessed with all of them and knows their special abilities.

This game has provided HOURS of family time and so many laughs I swear it shoulda been recorded people would see how fun and funny it is to play and spend time with family 3.

Instead of getting properties you need to get votes. Fundraisers, voting, campaign head quarters and other components of this game makes it really fun, I also like the fact that the kids start getting a little taste of politics in a fun way, is good for them, is always good to learn new things even if is politics, and how my kids learn is because they started asking their dad and me about it while we were playing, no better way to learn than while having fun.

Overall is an amazing addition to our collection of board games, I see this game giving us more fun nights as a family and also when the kids have friends over.

When my roommate heard of this new version of Mario Party where everybody takes their turn at the same time, she was hooked. The trailers looked awesome, the gameplay looked fun, but the reviews were mixed.

And I saw why. The most unique mode, Toad Scramble has you playing as the character Toad, running around checkerboard-like worlds obtaining other Mario series characters as playable allies. These allies can be lost or stolen by the other players.

You also earn coins around the worlds by moving your character around, popping balloons and winning minigames. Every 10 coins obtained is exchanged for one star each, at the end of the game mode. The player with the most stars wins.

This game lacks the quantity of mini games that the Mario Party series is known for. There is only one that utilizes the microphone, and 3 that require the touchscreen display. The remaining 15 minigames use the control pad and buttons, not including the “boss battles”.

I don’t know why Nintendo thought to make “boss battles” even more simple than a mini games. The only boss battle to have a different game is Bowser, with three different simple scenarios to defeat him.

The youngest of Nintendo fans could land in 1st place, even if the other NPC players were chosen to act on “Hard” difficulty. Most of the other game board types are unlockable with “Party Points”, similar to experience points in any RPG.

When you rank 1st place in the standard game of “Toad Scramble”, you earn 200 party points. If you were able to earn enough stars equivalent to a high score, you get the :Star Rush” bonus of additional 100 or 200 party points.

The top “Party Level” where everything is unlocked is 12, where you need a total of 6800 party points to reach. Alone, it may take you 20 hours minimally if you become skilled at most of the minigames.

Yep, three recharges of your 3DS system and you’ll nab everything this game has to offer. I still miss the old Mario Party games that play like Parcheesi mixed with UNO. Yeah, it was long and monotonous, but it’s what started it all like Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros.

Pokemon had the right idea to barely change a thing throughout its series.

Came quicker than suspected, cartridge in great condition for second hand product. My son won’t put the game down likes it more than mario island.

Mario Party DS is better. Getting all the allies gives an unfair advantage to the player with the most, minigames only occur if a player picks up a 10 coin balloon, toad scramble is garbage, balloon bash is boring and coinathalon is linear/basic.

Minigames are decent but Mario Party DS minigames are better.

These themed napkins look good and are a nice touch to complete a whole Super Mario party BUT they get your hands dirty! The black ink rubs off onto your hands, defeating the purpose of a napkin. What a waste!.

I dont like printed napkins because they have so much color and my kids are allergic. I dont let them use it on the face usually. These napkins, on the other hand, were so cute. Kids loved them. They had one set of characters on the outside, another on the inside and printed little obstacles on the back.

LOVE. They were so interesting and well designed.

My favorite game was Crosswords. Then I got a Nintendo 3DS and was delighted to find Crosswords PLUS. It is similar to the older version, but has a few quirks, like in the beginning, you can only play one game a day, until 4 days pass, and then you can play any game.

There is a new feature called Word of the Day. From it, you “make your own crossword” by filling in the blanks. Kinda fun! This is a great game to keep your brain working, and even though the games are timed, you can save and come back later.

Great game. Get it. you won’t be sorry!!.
