For starters, I am a skin care addict. I also love pricey makeup but skin care always trumps my makeup purchases. If your skincare isn’t up to par, neither is your makeup in my opinion. I literally have a bathroom shelf, bathroom tub, shower and caddy, a bathroom cabinet and a closet packed with skin care.

I know, we only have one face but through trial and error I have come across a regimen that has kept my face glowing and clear at 49. And also I can’t resist trying out new products that have the skin care ingredients I know that my skin craves.

With that being said, there are VERY, VERY few empties laying around and with this product there have been four empties, and I’m waiting on my fifth tube to be shipped while squeezing out the very last remnants in the old one! This moisturizer quite plainly, just does what it’s supposed to.

I have oily, mature skin (with few wrinkles. ) Thank God for genetics and a great skin care regimen and this moisturizer is my last step before sunscreen. It has niacinamide and peptides and has never one time, ever broke me out.

I know what not to use to keep my skin clear and this is one of my top five products. No frills, just a honestly great moisturizer that doesn’t leave your face greasy or feeling heavy with product and sinks in beautifully without any product build up.

I’m not particularly wowed by this product, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. I do think this moisturizer lives up to its claims – matte finish, good for oily/combo skin types. My skin used to run on the oily side until I really got into skincare.

Now my skin is more normal, though still acne prone. I’ve been using this moisturizer daily, AM PM. it does the job, but I don’t mind a more hydrated look, hell, even feeling more hydrated would be nice too – something I’m not really getting with this moisturizer.

If you like a more matte moisturizer, then this one is for you. Texture reminds me of a gel-cream, so not the sticky jelly texture like some gel moisturizers. The design of the cap also isnt the best.

one of the two attachments broke after only 2 uses. they’re too wide set apart from each other compared to other squeeze tubes that I use. Many of my products already contain the same actives – ceramides, niacinamide, etc.

That, plus not being super impressed by the hydration, I would pass on this product.

Even though this was my first time purchasing from the Online Drug Store, I have been using this face cream for about a year now. I mix it with a tiny bit of grape seed oil in the palm of my hand before applying.

(Any oil will do except olive oil cuz it’s pungent. ) I tried essential oils but they were more smelly than oily. I will be exploring the Online Drug Store as I run out of other items. Very satisfied with their service.

I started using this product when it was introduced. I’d had a dry, patchy spot on my checkbone periodically, which my liquid moisturizer didn’t seem to touch. Three days with this product and it was gone—completely and forever (so long as I use this product).

I’ve used Clinique since I was 40, and consequently I had reasonably good skin, but the Smart Clinical MD Multi-Dimensional Age Transformer Revolumizer did exactly what it said: it transformed my aging face.

Plumped and revitalized it. I’ve never encountered anything like it. If I had to use only one Clinique product, this would be the one. Problem: recently, Clinique has been repackaging its products, and I ordered what I thought was this product in a new packaging, a tube.

I’d tossed my container and did not see it among the products listed as night creams. I thought it had been taken off the market. My dry patch is back for the first time in years. After going through some pricey concoctions (one with retinol, which I don’t need to use nightly!), I sat down just now and went through all the night products listed on site.

I’m hoping this is the right one, the one in the dark purple container. Please don’t stop producing this. Promote it better, for it is a miracle worker!.

Bought this product for my mother based on the thick and rich texture that she prefers. Decided to try it myself too. Resculpting (white cream) goes smoother and easier on the skin than the Revolumizing (purple one).

I enjoyed both creams quite a bit but find that Revolumizing cream would end much faster as it takes quite a bit to spread it out on skin. Skin feels very nice, firm and deeply hydrated afterwards. Doesn’t feel heavy on the skin at all, which is Very surprising considering how rich both creams are (can be because of my extremely dry skin).

Rating 4 stars because the packaging is not very comfortable to use and also the Revolumizing cream smells really bad. Overall, I’d recommend to try. Very interesting product.

I am currently using a full size Resculpt cream received as free sample. I like this as a nightly moisturizing cream and apply this with the Revolumize (whenever I have 5ml sizes). Just a small amount is enough for the whole face and neck.

I wake up to softer skin. I’m nearing 44 and proud I do not look my age (but younger). My skin issue since pandemic started are pimples and so the Clinique products I concentrate on buying are for acne and brightening.

This is the only product targeted on lines/wrinkles I have ‘coz I believe early prevention is better. So, I use this before any sagging starts to show. I’m still reading on other Clinique anti-aging products to try but this I definitely would keep in my regimen.

I didn’t read the reviews thoroughly to notice, and the description does not mention, that there was a strong scent. So I was very surprised. The first night I tried it the smell was so strong I could still smell it for at least 10 minutes after.

I do not have sensitive skin and was nervous the smell would cause some irritation. I woke up and my skin was so soft and no adverse reactions, so I gave it another try. I used a little less product and didn’t smell anything the second time.

I’ve used it for about a week now and I don’t even smell it when I put it on. I’m not sure if I’ve become used to the smell or whether adjusting the amount of product used is what’s eliminating it but I definitely know my skin is so soft and it works well with my other nighttime skin care routine.

Maybe just don’t put it around your eyes.

This Adv. Peptides & Flora Collagen Moisturizer is a great product. For me, when using I have diminished wrinkles, good moisture in skin. My husband loves this stuff and uses it nightly. As I have found with many DermaE nighttime or heavy moisturizing products, when applied they feel like they sit atop my skin like a mask.

But when I wake up the moisturizer feels absorbed into my skin and my skin looks smooth, clear, fresh, and healthy. Now that I’ve discovered the DermaE brand, I stopped using all the dept. store brands and there is such a difference in my skin.

I sure hope this company never self-destructs and changes formulas and ingredients just to save a nickel. If they could only realize their best interest is to leave the formulas as-is. they work. don’t fix what is not broken.

I’ve tried a lot of face creams to help with the harsh winter temps and lack of humidity. My skin dries and flakes over the winter and most creams are so heavy they cause me to break out. This cream, however, is perfect as a night cream in the winter (I won’t use it during the summer as it would be too heavy).

A little goes a long way so not much product is needed. I into use it as night and I find it moisturizes my face without a greasy or heavy product feeling. I have combination skin and this cream works wonderfully.

I haven’t had any dry patches or flaky skin since using it and no breakouts. I would definitely recommend it. So happy I finally found a winter face cream after so many years.

I’ve had good skin conditions in general since I was young but blackheads of my nose has always been bothering. On top of that, open pores on my cheeks are getting more noticeable lately after I became 34.

I wanted to try this product and see if it improves these skin issues. It’s been just 2 weeks since I started using it but I can already see the deference. My face got brighter, pores on my cheeks are getting smaller, and blackheads on my nose are less noticeable.

I still need to continue using it to see the improvement more. Sadly, the pump parts got broken yesterday and I went to a Kiehls store today to see if I can buy a replacement for the pump or something because it’s been just 2 weeks since I opened it and you are supposed to close the bottle tightly as soon as you finish using it.

The staff was very helpful and exchanged it with a new one. What a great customer service! I really like all Kiehls products I’ve purchased before and am very happy with the company’s policy too!.

I wasn’t expecting to be so excited about this product. I continue to be thrilled. I have had a solid twice-daily face regimen for ages (read decades) which has included a serum. Cleanser. Toner. Serum.

Moisturizer. I bought this serum to get a bump up in Vitamin C and because I like trying new things and I love Kiehl’s. Ok. 2 pumps of this serum after toner is enough for my full face and neck but this serum is addictive so I usually add another little half pump.

It is absorbed immediately into my skin and leaves my face feeling silky, hydrated, and moisturized. It is amazing. Don’t forget to add your moisturizer because your skin will look and feel like you already have.

Oh and that’s the other thing, this is not a barrier, so when you apply your face oil or moisturizer they will absorb into your skin just as you would expect.

I use Kiehl’s a small amount on target areas and am consistently amazed. I pair it with a low concentration retinol oil. They combine smoothly and deliver excellent results. Make sure to use sunscreen or stay out of sun with this stuff.

I forgot once and you immediately feel tingle and sensitivity. You may feel the warmth and minimal burning sensation when first using it. Apply strategically especially if after a good cleanse or any mild exfoliating.

Be gentle and use sparingly. It really takes only a small amount. Don’t be crazy with this stuff it’s potent and worth the purchase. I don’t use it everyday and once you put in your skin care routine you won’t either.

Magic voila.

I’m happy with my purchase. I have always liked using bevel products. Now that I keep my beard, I no longer use the shave kit. However, I’m happy to continue using the skin moisturizer. I now use the skin toner.

The bomb dot com, and leaves my face so smooth and moisturized. However it works better after the face wash. As a Blackman this is the best skin care regimen I’ve ever had. Definitely a recommendation to all.

I love Bevel products, once I discovered them I switched to pretty much all their products. My face dries pretty easily so their moisturizing face gel is great. I use it along with the serum everyday.

I strongly suggest Bevel products if you’re a man of c.

This is the second product I’ve tried from Vichy through the Stellar Product Testing Panel (the first was a facial sunscreen), and I’m again pleasantly surprised at how great their skincare line is. To set the scene: I’m in my mid 30’s, with combination skin, large pores and blackheads, and I live in Arizona.

That’s an important detail, because I have a very small amount of time during the year to enjoy products as they are meant to be used, before things start melting off of my face without my control. I’ve been using this moisturizer about 5 times a week for the last couple of weeks, and have alternated between using it as part of my bedtime regiment and using as a replacement for my primer before I put makeup on.

I was pleasantly surprised that the moisturizer does not immediately make my face super greasy. The consistency of it is almost a mix between a lotion and a serum – and you don’t need a lot at all. one pump will do ya.

That’s a great thing, because the size of this bottle is really decent (also love that it’s a glass bottle with a solid pump – packaging is excellent). With every day use, it would last well into 8 or 9 months.

I have not used it twice in one day, mostly because I know my skin would start to build up a little more. I’m hoping that once daily use will be enough for my skin to get used to it and not over produce oils.

I have noticed a little bit more clarity in my skin without makeup on, and I trust that it’s helping with acne. However it is not a miracle product by showing significant results in just a couple of weeks.

I am also using this product during the wintertime, when I need moisturizer the most; I will likely stop using it when the weather starts warming up again. Overall, great smell, great packaging, great size, great consistency, great feel on the skin.

Can’t give it 5 stars unless it’s an irrefutable must-have in my medicine cabinet, and I just haven’t used it that long to determine if it’s making the cut yet!.

This eye cream is a bit different that many others in that it has a mild somewhat earthy coffee scent. Kahlua might be the closest thing I can liken it to. It’s not unpleasant and I didn’t notice it once the cream was rubbed into the under eye area.

It is noticeable if you just sniff the cream in the jar. The cream is also brown in the jar. That doesn’t really make any difference, just something atypical of most eye creams that are usually white in the jar.

It comes in a jar with a paper sort of thing in between the lid and the cap. If you open it right after it has been shipped be careful when taking the paper cover. There will be a lot of the cream on the cap and if you drop it, that will probably be $15 worth of this stuff on the floor or stuck to the sink.

This cream is thick enough that it might be better packaged in a pump form. Like most any eye cream, it takes just a tiny bit to coat the skin under your eyes. This cream feels a bit more oily than some initially and remains that way for a little while before it sinks in which is within 20 minutes or so.

I found I needed less of this cream than others to cover the desired area under each eye. There was still plenty left on my fingers so I could have used even less of it. Once it soaks in, the area under the eyes feels incredibly soft.

Super silky smooth. Typically I use an eye cream before going to bed and that was the case with this one as well. The softness and the texture of the skin under the eyes remains super silky smooth and soft throughout the night and into the next day until it is washed off.

It feels like it tightens the skin as well as softening and smoothing it. When it comes to eye creams you’ve got endless choices and it can be hard to make sense of what to buy, what is worth it and what isn’t.

They all seem to work to a degree. I think this one works better than most. If you are going to spend $65 on an eye cream, this is an excellent choice and easily among the best I’ve used.

I am mid-sixty with very dry skin and have used this product now for about a month. I was skeptical it would do anything since I have yet to find only one other undereye product that actually did what it claimed.

The texture of my undereye area is smoother and more refreshed. Wrinkles are less obvious as well. There is a commitment to using an undereye cream in order to give it time to prove itself, and this eye cream delivers.

Maybe it is just because my undereye area tends to the dry side, I could see a difference right away. The dark circles are less pronounced, but I think it is because the overall area is not as hallowed out as the product draws moisture to it.

I will admit when I opened the jar, I thought it was rancid because it does have a rather unpleasant smell. The latte color did it no favors when combined with the pungent odor. I wondered if it was tinted to give a foundation effect once applied.

I decided to try anyway. I am glad I did. Once this cream absorbs there is no residual color or smell. After about a week, the odor dissipates from opening and closing the jar. The one thing the company could address would be this odor.

All in all, I would highly recommend this product. I believe the ingredients are solid. The wonderful way my undereye looks outweighs the smell. I will definitely purchase this product again.

I rely on Dr. Dennis Gross peel towelettes, having used the clinical strength, and now using the version for sensitive skin and finding it thoroughly effective and without reaction. so thought it worth trying the highly rated Stress Repair Face Cream.

It contains the best superfoods, adaptogens, and B3 in a rich, non-irritating cream that I apply nightly, as a last stem in my evening skin care regimen. My face is smooth as silk the next morning, and my skin stays well hydrated which I know for a fact because I also believe in using my Dermaflash device weekly to remove top layer dead skin cells and peach fuzz, and at one time the surface of my skin must have been dehydrated/rough even if not showing it, and the vibrating razor would leave cuts over my entire face.

No longer, the Dermaflash device glides over my face smoothly. As to the claim of “anti-aging” I don’t care for that term and know that only an invasive procedure as I chose to have offers the best rejuvenation, but the maintenance of my skin following a lift is critical, and this product provides all that I look for.

I’m in my mid 30s with sensitive combination skin. I like how lightweight this serum is, smells nice and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft. however it also seems to leave a bit of an oily residue that sits on my skin.

I use a small amount, it does go a long way, 1 little pump, sometimes 2 yet the greasy residue lasts a long time if it is a no makeup day. After a few days of consistent use my skin starts getting irritated then itchy, so I think there’s something in the ingredients my skin doesn’t like.

It does the job but not ideal for me.

This is a great product. You can use it alone, which I often did. Or, as a makeup primer before you lay on your foundation. It really allowed your makeup to appear very smooth. My only hang up was it appeared to cause skin tags.

I tested it and each time I used it skin tags would show up. This could just be how my skin reacted to the ingredients, but felt it was worth noting. I love all other aspects of the product, but sadly I won’t be purchasing it gain.

Love the way this product works. A perfect world is great for anyone just starting to notice signs of aging or just fresh out of high school. This product and the others within its line act as a protective bubble around your skin, guarding it from free radicals and environmental stressors which is great.

I’ve seen the product work. A lady who mentored me that worked for Origins for years told me they was the first product she started using when she was in her 20s and she was well in her 40s at that time and I’d of never guessed her being that old.

She used the line religiously. The price is pretty good for a moisturizer that actually will show long term effects but the problem I’ve come is that it’s filled with essential oils. It smells amazing and I love the white tea but I just wish Origins would do better with what kinds of essential oils they put in their products.

Any kind of citrus oil can cause problems down the line as well as sensitivity. You may not notice it right away but it could show up later in life. I loved Origins but now that skincare is changing and companies are making products more clean that also give results I’ve started to veer away from Origins.

If your skin is not sensitive and oils don’t bother you this could be a great product to try. Most the time you can go to the counters at Dillard’s or even Sephora and get a sample to try before you buy.

✨Overview✨ I do not hold an extremely high regard for this product compared to many other people for a few reasons. The first reason is that Cerave doesn’t have the best ethical practices and has unnecessarily increased the price of this product, where it isn’t within drugstore prices anymore for a product that is honestly quite drugstore.

It is also relying on hyaluronic acid as a marketing tactic, in which hyaluronic acid honestly isn’t anything special and is overhyped. I believe that adding niacinamide would make this product better, for example.

Finally, I don’t like that this product contains dimethicone, a silicone. Considering all these contentions, I still have quite a bit of product left over, and I use it occasionally and will alternate it with other moisturizing products.

I also personally prefer using it on my body. ✨Full PM Routine✨ I use this product during my PM routine. Here is my PM routine: I will first lightly cleanse if needed, then immediately use a moisturizing essence such as the Cosrx “Full Fit Propolis Synergy Toner” and Marine Hylauronics from The Ordinary.

After these steps, I will apply “Buffet” + Copper Peptides, wait about 10-15 minutes, buffer with a small amount of the Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence, then apply my retinoid, prescription tretinoin in 0.

025%. After applying tretinoin, I will wait another 10-15 minutes, then apply my moisturizer. I will either use a mixture of the Cerave Daily Moisturizing Lotion with The Ordinary’s 100% Niacinamide Powder, or a mixture of the Cosrx Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream with The Ordinary’s 100% Niacinamide Powder.

After that step, I will apply either an emollient or occlusive to lock everything in – and this depends on how I feel. Sometimes I will skip this step. For things I will apply at this step, I’ve been using the Laniege Water Sleeping Mask on and off for years, and I still do love the product.

I will either apply this product, or Sierra’s Bees Madre Madness Balm (I purchase this from iHerb. com). This PM routine has kept my skin in extremely good shape and it has worked for me.

Gave my confidence back and I feel like it saved my life. I’ve never had skin problems, so imagine at 41 how I freaked out as I woke up one morning and out of nowhere my face, legs, buttocks, arms, back, breast and stomach were all inflamed and itching uncontrollably.

For days I used calamine lotion and other topicals to stop the itching and flare ups. Washed everything and cleaned the entire room. About 4 days later I finally stopped itching and now everywhere the flare ups were, there were now dark black patches.

Days later they started developing on my face and dark circles underneath my eyes. My entire forehead and both cheeks were tight and shiny like leather. The feel was completely different from the other spots all over my body.

After 3 days, I said that’s enough I have to do something about this that’s different. Had him to stop by Walmart and went in and analyzed the products. Googled as I was in the store and settled on Cerave Moisturizing Cream and Cerave healing ointment.

Went to the hotel room a shower and applied the ointment to my face and Moisturizing Cream on my body. Telecaster again that night and the next morning you wouldn’t believe the difference it made. Plus it lasted for hours.

I continued this regimen and 30 hours later the leather on my face was no longer there it was only a small amount of chaff. My body was also healing and the dry patches weren’t nearly as dry. I continued for 3 more days and my face was now completely normal, so I switched to using the moisturizing cream with just a dab of ointment on my face for a couple more days then resulted to just Moisturizing Cream for my face and body.

2 weeks later, I’ve still seen nothing but improvements and my skin clearing up. The old skin where all the dark spots were and chaffed spots are now almost completely peeled and replaced with new skin.

Healthy, radiant and bright like before. I will continue using Cerave and researching their other products and see what’s the best way to maintain even after I’m completely in the clear from this. Cerave has given me the confidence I needed back and I am a lifetime supporter!.

To preface, I’m a 19yo female with normal skin that leans more dry in the winter and oily in the summer. I am acne prone and have recently finished six months of an acne medication. I have used this before and during my treatment, and will continue to use it as long as it’s made! When I’m doing my skincare, I typically alternate between using a salicylic acid toner, a retinol, a niacinamide serum, and a hyaluronic acid serum (depending on what my skin needs).

If I’m using my toner, I apply the toner to clean, dry skin and then apply this moisturizer on top. If I’m using my retinol or either serum, I mix them into this moisturizer and apply it as one concoction onto damp skin.

When I’m moisturizing my body, I apply it while my body is still wet coming out of the shower. I also use this moisturizer as a prep for my makeup! Overall, I absolutely love this moisturizer! It is basic in a good way! It has a gentle, non-scented formula that I can use on my face and body.

It looks great under makeup and always keeps my skin hydrated. This moisturizer sinks in perfectly without leaving behind a greasy, oily, or sticky residue. My skin can also breath through this moisturizer, which I’ve never found in a moisturizer that simultaneously checks my other boxes! Another great feat, it’s drugstore pricing in simple/functional packaging.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone looking for a classic moisturizer!.

I recently have started my journey into the world of skincare. I’ve been having a wonderful time trying out all kinds of cleansers, moisturizers, masks, etc. Today I tried out a sample of the CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion With Sunscreen that I had received complements of their website.

This product was a heavier face cream, and you can definitely smell the sunscreen in it. The scent did not bother my sensitive skin though. I have combination/oily skin and this moisturizer made my skin kind of shiny, and a little bit oily.

It absorbed quickly and evenly into my skin and wasn’t sticky or tacky feeling in any way. It left my skin feeling very soft and smooth, and very very hydrated. I’m kind of left feeling torn on this product because while it did do a great job at hydrating my skin and making it soft, it also almost left it with a layer of oil on top of it.

What it is, is a micro-fine zinc oxide sunscreen for UVA/UVB protection. This moisturizer with SPF is a hydrating facial lotion that spreads easily, is absorbed quickly, and leaves a non-greasy finish.

All-day hydration with broad spectrum sun protection. 3 essential ceramides to help restore skin’s natural barrier. Developed with dermatologists, this hydrating face lotion- featuring 3 essential ceramides moisturizes throughout the day and provides broad spectrum protection with SPF 30.

Hyaluronic Acid helps retain skin’s natural moisture. Non-comedogenic, won’t clog pores. MVE Delivery Technology: Controlled release for all-day hydration. For $9 on Amazon I don’t really think that I would purchase this product.

I’m not really sure if I would recommend this product for oily skin, but for dry or normal skin, I definitely would.

I am a big fan of Cerave products and have been using their cleansers and the daily moisturising lotion for a while. Most of Cerave’s products can be used on the face or body, but they made two moisturisers specifically for the face, one for AM with SPF and one for PM.

This is the PM one. It comes in a 52ml tube. The main difference between this PM face formula and the generic daily moisturising lotion is that it has the addition of niacinamde as the 4th ingredient in the ingredients list.

It also contains 3 types of ceramides and sodium hyaluronate like the normal moisturising lotion. Texture-wise, I find it a bit lighter and absorbs quicker. On the days where my skin felt a bit irritated, this was soothing and comfortable.

Even though it is light, my skin still feels hydrated overnight and there is no dryness in the morning. For reference, I have combination skin that’s currently a bit dehydrated. There is nothing wrong with this product and it is safe for everyone, including those with sensitive or irritated skin.

I just feel that besides the niacinamide, it’s not a huge improvement over the normal moisturising lotion, but the price is $22/52ml tube and that’s a huge jump from the moisturising lotion which is $15/236ml.

If you already have niacinamide in your other products or use a niacinamide serum and you’re ok with the texture of the daily moisturising lotion, you don’t need this.

This moisturiser caused a prickly reaction to my face, that was very uncomfortable. My skin is very sensitive and reactive. I was pretty sure this moisturiser was going to be fabulous because of (1) the cica being the star ingredient and (2) all the good reviews I read online.

Sadly, this was not the case for me. I applied the cream (it is a bit more effort to rub it in than I was expecting) and then my cheeks, chin and even my forehead started to feel a prickling sensation.

It became so uncomfortable I had to remove the product using cold water from the tap. It was a relief to remove it from my face. I returned the product the following day.

I already reviewed this product but here it goes again!. When I first ordered this product last year, I was immediately impressed by the formula and the way it helped my skin in numerous ways. However, I am pretty sure that it has been reformulated since I’ve re-ordered recently.

I was so excited to receive it again on sale since it is quite pricey for me but I am not as impressed this time around. The formula originally felt more foam like and now it’s more creamy. Also doesn’t seem to be working as well for my skin.

Odd. May or may not be purchase.

This is absolutely fantastic for super dry skin. I was devastated when Kiehl’s discontinued the Ultra Facial Deep Balm and ended up trying at least two subpar replacements. After more research, I settled on this cream.

I have extremely (EXTREMELY) dry, sensitive skin. I also have rosacea. For a point of reference, Cerave products make my skin burn. This moisturizer is amazing – it is incredibly hydrating without being greasy and it does wonders for my redness and sensitivity.

If you are not very dry, this will probably not be the right product for you. Now I’m just waiting for Kiehl’s to discontinue this one too since I love it so much. *eye roll* BUT. I do love it more than the Ultra Facial Deep Balm.

Color me shocked!.

I have very pale skin and I have always struggled with large visible pours, regardless of skin care treatments. I also have always had to deal with acne, oily skin and intermittent patchy dryness. Recently, I moved from Texas to Chicago and the environmental change wrinkled my face and aged me a good 5-10 years in just a year’s time.

I am 36 and after about 1 week of use my skin looks radiant, toned, and virtually poreless and wrinkle free. I love this stuff!.

All of my skincare regimen is from Kiehl’s, but this one is my absolute favorite. It is meant to tighten pores and lift, and although I don’t have pore problems, it really does lift, while imparting a delightful moisturization to my skin.

As an added bonus, the fragrance is wonderful and I look forward to applying this every day. I know I am fortunate to be blessed with good skin, but Kiehl’s helps, and I think it really contributes to comments about my age looking as though I’m fifteen years younger than I am!.

I purchased this product at a retail store in Austin and was so excited about it. It smelled WONDERFUL and I figured with the cost, it must work right?! WRONG! I’ve used it so many different ways. I’ve tried twice a day like the packaging said and it made my skin so oily and with giant ugly clogged pores with texturized skin.

THEN I figured, maybe my skin doesn’t like that much attention, so I tried it only at night for a while, STILL no difference. Now my pores are larger than ever and I’m trying to figure out how to get them back to their originally large (but smaller than they are now) pores.

I do my daily routine of cleanse tone and moisturize with a weekly mask so it’s not that my skin is unclean that’s for sure. Plus, i have oily skin and the reps told me this was designed for people with oily skin.

They mention some 30 day guarantee, but you are supposed to wait 45 days before you see results supposedly?! Unfortunately I’m not impressed with their representatives OR their products.

Goes on very smooth. And then it started to burn and itch. It says to rinse with water if it irritates you, so I did. One hour later still burning and itching. I have never had a reaction to any face product.

I had also purchased the Maderma scar gel. The gel also bother me (my back). I thought at first it was just a sensitive area where the scar is but now I realize it’s their products in general. My doctor told me to get it.

On to next product. Yikes.

My skin doctor put me on to this product years ago. I used it under my makeup everyday. My skin is in great condition and I look years (I mean years) younger than my sister, who is two years older than me.

I used to have scaly patches around my nose but this stuff got rid of it and it has never come back. It is light and goes on like any other moisturizer.

disclaimer: please use any retinol at night to avoid interference with sun exposure and sensitivity to the skin. this retinol will irritate your skin, leave dry patches, and so forth. i have not been using it long but it is because my skin cannot tolerate it and i do not have sensitive skin.

i will also say you should not use this every single day considering it is a resurfacing serum. despite its name, it doesnt do much resurfacing. it just causes dry patches. this is not something i recommend as it will irritate you especially if you attempt to use it more than twice or three times a week.

if that’s the case, it wont be effective for anyone using this for anti-aging. you’ll need to use retinol everyday for faster results. nonethless, here are the issues ewg. org puts on their website for this product: “contamination concerns, irritation (skin, eyes, or lungs), occupational hazards, persistence and bioaccumulation, use restrictions”.

Use with caution!.

Little to no scent, it does sting a little after applying but after checking multiple sources and many reviews, this is normal with retinol products. I have very sensitive skin so I imagine those with normal skin will not have any stinging.

I dislike that CeraVe doesn’t disclose the amount of retinol percentage and instead gives a non-answer, but the tiny amount of retinol it has is indeed effective. I have REALLY uneven skin, lots of bumps from old blemishes that made hiding everything with makeup difficult.

I bought this a little over three weeks ago and used it in tandem with Melano CC to lighten blemishes and it’s amazing how much has changed, my skin is nearly flat! I never thought any product could make my blemishes go away completely but I think it’s possible if I use resurfacing products for a while.

For the first two weeks, I applied once daily before bumping it up to twice daily with the rest of my routine. Be prepared for a LOT of flaking at first if you had bad issues like me. After using up this bottle, I intend to change to a resurfacing product with a higher percentage of retinol!.

I have sensitive and combination skin, parts are extremely dry and other parts are extremely oily. Many products break me out so I was hesitant to try this. After my first use I immediately noticed dry, flaky patches that begin to burn.

I almost decided to stop it but thankfully I went online and did some research. After reading about retinol I learned that it’s completely normal to have dry, red patches and some tingling or burning for the first week or 2.

My skin was purging and becoming used to the product. I added in a non comedogenic moisturizer to help with the dryness. It has been a few weeks now of me using 2-3 times weekly and it no longer causes flakiness or burning.

The red, post acne spots on my chin are already disappearing and my face is looking much healthier. I will be recommending this product to everyone who suffers from post acne spots and scarring.

This moisturizer seemed to be great when I was first using it but then I started noticing a couple of weeks in that it didn’t seem to absorb fully. I only rinse my face with water in the morning and it felt like I was rinsing off the moisturizer.

It felt like it just sat on my face. I have very dry, sensitive, eczema, acne prone skin. It didn’t cause any irritation really, or breakouts. Sometimes it would burn a little around my nose and mouth, but that tends to happen with most moisturizers I’ve used.

I’ve tried so many other moisturizers and most are not moisturizing enough, or their greasy, they don’t absorb, they burn, they make my face feel tight after applying, or they break me out. I switched to using Olay’s Active Hydrating Cream and funny enough that moisturizer has fragrance and isn’t the fanciest with all these ceramides, peptides, and actives, but kid you not, I haven’t found a moisturizer that has moisturized my face exactly the way I like, like that one does.

Sometimes we have to just use what works best for our skin and ignore what these skincare people say on YouTube or Tiktok. So far that Olay moisturizer has been amazing for my face. Also it doesn’t cause ANY irritation at all.

I’m bummed that my face didn’t agree with this CeraVe Renewing Night Cream, but oh well. So weird how our skin can react negatively to a product that is supposed to be amazing for our skin. I hope you like this product if you try it!.

I’ve been using CeraVe products pretty consistently for over a year now. I use their hydrating face wash, daily facial moisturizer and their moisturizing crème in the evenings. I suffer from VERY DRY skin and struggle with cracking near me eyes, earlobes and corners of my mouth.

I was searching for something heavier that would soak in overnight. I still wash nightly, apply my serum and now finish with generously dotting this in my face. I find that I need more than I would expect led based on their recommendations for applying.

I allow my serum to settle in and add this after a few minutes. I’ve found I wake up with my skin feeling smooth and looking more hydrated. With the harsh winter winds I do add a few drops of facial order if I’m feeling extra dry.

I don’t feel sticky or goopy in the morning and just apply my light moisturizer and carry on. I’d say if you struggle with dry skin it’s worth a shot. I think I’ll get about a month-two out of the container at the rate I’m going.

I do wish they sold this in a larger container but overall I’ve been very happy!.

I know it’s a tough buy for such a smalllllllll amount of product, but believe me when I say a little goes a long way. And I found out I use more than the friend who recommended it to me uses. This product has still lasted me months and I had to repurchase before it ran out.

I suffer from incredibly dry skin and have been building up a super hydrating skincare routine, but needed something more for my skin and was recommended this. Let me tell you, when I ordered for in store pick up and I saw the size of this jar I just about turned around and returned it, but I gave it a try and I’m so glad I did.

I use it every night after giving my skincare about ten minutes to soak in and I wake up with such nice skin. My tiny little jar sits right by my bed and has for about 4 months now. It is pricy for the amount, its understandably frustrating that it is so small and still comes almost half full, but that sucker lasts and does me wonders.

If you’re willing to give it a try, I say do it. It was the best decision I made for my skin, especially through the dry northern winters!.

When I received this product I was in the market for a new Vitamin C serum, so I was excited to try this out since I use other La Roche-Posay products and enjoy them all. First I’ll start with what I liked about this, which is, it does exactly what it claims to do.

I’ve been using this product a little over a week now and I have seen some good results. I have very sensitive skin that can go haywire if you just stare at it funny in the mirror, but so far I have had no issues with using this serum every morning, no dry patches or irritation or break outs.

It has lightened up a few dark spots I have on my forehead, while it doesn’t make them go completely away, they are definitely less noticeable now. This serum leaves my skin soft and touchable and it certainly has given it a nice glow every morning.

I’ve noticed the wrinkles on my forehead (seeing a theme with this 5head of mine?) are less pronounced as well. There is no overpowering scent to this product which is a nice change from my last one.

Price wise its pretty on par with other Vitamin C serums I’ve used in the past. Now some of the complaints I have for this product. I think the biggest one I have and what others have as well is the packaging, most notably the application.

Instead of a pump, which would do wonders with this product, there is a dropper. The serum itself is on the thicker side and will cling to the outside of the dropper making a bit of a mess when you go to put it back in the bottle.

So please, give us a pump! Next I saw some other reviews complaining about the serum not absorbing and pilling if you put anything on top of it. I wasn’t having this problem because it was my last serum before my moisturizer and I always give it a good 10 minutes to dry before I apply.

I decided to switch it up a bit and will agree that it is hard to apply anything else (serum wise) on top of this serum without it getting sticky and starting to pill, so definitely make sure this is the last product you put on before your moisturizer.

And finally not really a complaint but the product will stain so be careful, you can even see my topper is stained orange in the picture below. I would recommend this if you have sensitive skin and other Vitamin C products have been too harsh or have irritated you, just don’t forget your sunscreen!.

Today I am testing the super potent Vitamin C serum by La Roche-Posay, generously provided in this free sample. I applied this serum to my freshly cleansed face, straight out of the shower, so all my pores were cleansed, open, and ready to absorb this product! With a concentrated 10% formula, I could really feel the actives in this as I smoothed it onto my skin.

A word of caution – it may seem obvious to some, but I was not expecting this product to be quite as pigmented as it was. The serum is a deep, saturated amber color, so be careful to avoid any stainable items or surfaces while applying this product.

You also don’t want to apply too much, either, as this contains salicylic acid as well. With ascorbic acid and salicylic acid, there’s a lot of acid in this product. I did have some slight irritation from shaving on my chin, and this serum did make it sting quite a bit.

Needless to say, I would avoid using this serum on any skin that is even remotely agitated or sensitive, or prepare to feel the burn! I try not to use salicylic acid products on my skin, and I also didn’t care for the saturated color of the serum itself, so I am subtracting a star for those reasons.

However, I did notice this product giving my skin a natural glow, and I appreciate the company’s focus and dedication to the efficacy of their actives. You can really feel the potency of each key ingredient as it penetrates and invigorates your skin.

Vitamin C as a serum has a variety of uses, most commonly for anti-aging and hydration. I enjoyed the glow this product left behind, but I’m not so sure I would use this on a daily basis. This might be a fun treatment to do perhaps once a week to awaken your freshest, brand-newest skin.

I’ve been using a different vitamine C serum for a while now, but wanted to try La Roche-Posay one because I generally like their products. This vitamine C serum got me very surprised by the quality.

1. I’ll start with the packaging, because this is a disaster. all other products i ever used from La Roche-Posay has a very good and thought through packaging, but this feels like they didnt really think that through.

Firstly, there’s no stopper when you take the pipette out, so everything runs over it and drips. And there’s more product actually around the pipette then inside, which forces you to touch it, adding bacteria.

When you put the pipette back you have to very careful, otherwise serum will run over the edges of the bottle. Secondly, vitamine C oxidizes, and has to be kept in a dark glass container, with minimized amount of air going in (again, a stopper is needed).

2. The product is quite sticky and the skin doesn’t absorb it fully (at least my skin doesnt). I feel it on my skin the whole day. It also crumbles a bit when i put make up, which is veeery annoying.

If i put the serum before going to bed, then when i cleanse in the morning i see orange stains on my cotton pad, so it doesn’t adsorb fully. 3. The smell is nice, but unnecessary. I always prefer unscented cosmetics.

First time i used it, i could feel the smell quite long, which gave me a headache. Overall, i will definetely not buy another one. Was even thinking to give this one away, but its quite pricey so i’m forced to finish it.

I;m very surprised, because all other products i used felt very well on my skin.

I am 58 years old with moderately aging skin—average smoothness with a few deep, deep lines above my lips, the side of my forehead, and the dreaded 11’s. I have tried the expensive brands to a point.
