This Soap is now HIDEOUSLY DISGUSTING !! The “OLD formula” had a gentle, light, pleasant scent that was not overpowering and allowed for a comfortable, relaxing bathing experience. Suitable for the entire family, the old formula left you feeling happy, clean and refreshed.

The “NEW formula” designated by a gold shamrock on the packaging is so horrible you’ll be sorry the second you unbox the soap. The new fragrance is like something from a teenage deodorant commercial gone wrong.

The acrid, pungent, overpowering scent of cheap cologne infests your nostrils, and every pore on your skin that this soap touches. Its so disgustingly strong that you can taste the cologne in the air.

You won’t even know if you’re clean or still dirty when you step out of the shower and all you can smell is that foul fragrance clinging to you tighter than an alien face-hugger for hours on end. Shame on Colgate-Palmolive for dumping decades long loyal customers in the name of corporate greed.

I agree mostly with all ten of the reviews listed here. It IS different! Not only in the scent, which is huge in itself. Refreshing and invigorating is now flowery and perfumy and just plain displeasing.

But that’s not all. It IS a different formula too. I counted. There are 9 ingredients in the old formula that aren’t listed for the new. 8 in the new that weren’t in the old. There are 6 ingredients in common.

Noteworthy: in the old formula there were 3 ingredients listed between glycerin and sodium chloride. The glycerin is in the same spot in the new formula but the sodium chloride is now directly after the glycerin.

Salt is drying. I contend it no longer qualifies for the “moisture blast” claim, which is why I tried it some 8 years ago. I stayed with it cause it worked, rinsed very well, and smelled great! But I’m done.

I have 10 unopened bars headed to the landfill. Anyone notice the product details? LIES! Just blatant falsehoods all prettied up. Lipstick from a corporate pig. I could argue with nearly every line but this pretty much sums it up: “Our recyclable carton might have a new design, but it’s still the same great bar soap you love to smell.

” NO! IT’S NOT. IT’S A DIFFERENT BAR SOAP. AND IT STINKS! Ps. The old cartoon was already recyclable.

I’ve used the Moisture Blast and orig green Irish Spring for approx 30 years and it was wonderful for my dry skin! I loved it, it smelled great, lathered nice, left a nice clean scent. Now that it has been reformulated, it smells too strong, like cologne, instead of a nice clean scent, it doesn’t lather the same, and the worst part is that it is irritating to my skin, it actually gave me a rash.

I’m so upset that you changed this, and now I have to find a new product to use. I don’t know why you would change this. You should stick with what works. If you go back to the old formula, I’ll be happy to purchase again, but until then I have to sadly find something else.

These soaps are my favorite! The beauty of these products is that there is a really lovely balance between the quality of the soaps and the value I feel I have gotten when I buy them. The soaps last really well, and not only smell delicious, but feel delicious against your skin.

This review is for Dial glycerin soap whose link led to men’s odor armor soap. I am NOT reviewing the men’s soap! I absolutely love this soap. It lasts a long time, doesn’t dry your skin, provides doesn’t protection and helps keep your skin healthy.

I also prefer the fragrance to that of traditional Dial soap which can be harsh to those of us with fragrance allergies. I am able to buy them bundled on sale which saves money two ways and buy more when the next sale hits before I run out.

I highly recommend the cranberry version.

As odd as it seems, I love Dial for Men. The scent is wonderful. It’s easy to use. Product packaging catches the eye. It helps keep my boyfriend clean after two long work shifts each day. I usually buy the soap bars from the dollar store.

I use these, my boyfriend and our six year old son.

My husband definitely like this soap he used same brand over and over for ages. He always telling me how soft and hydrate is he’s skin. Smells good too. He can wash he’s face too and he’s face is always soft and smooth.

It’s usually comes in three different colors or say fragrance to choose. Always smells fresh and controlling body odor specially my husband work all day landscaping. I didn’t see dryness or break outs on his face and his body skin feels smooth and soft always.

I discovered this soap about a year ago and have used it since. The scent is very positive but in no way overwhelming. a fresh outdoors kind of scent. It helps moisterize my skin and reduces the dry skin itch during the low humidity of the winter.

I also use it for shaving my head and face because it works very well. I don’t waste my money on bodywash which was introduced by the soap companies to sell more soap and make more $$. This is a good product for men!.

First off I have to say my husband was very excited surprised he received a VoxBox from Influenster. He’s already a fan of Dove so I figured it would be perfect for him. Here is what he said about each: Extra Fresh Body Face Wash: ✅ for someone who is used to the bar of soap he actually liked this a lot.

He said all you need is a drop it goes a long way. The smell is great and he liked that you can get a body and face wash all in one. So far so good. no breakouts or irritation. Extra Fresh Antiperspirant: ❎ it was decent, had a great smell but he didn’t feel like it lasted him as long as the brand he currently wears.

He works outdoors and right now it’s summer, hot and sticky so he didn’t feel like this would be something he’d purchase again. But again, like everything else. great smell! Extra Fresh Fortifying Shampoo + Conditioner: ✅❎ He was mixed on this because normally he just uses shampoo because he has really short hair.

He couldn’t really say much about the all in one other than the smell being great and his hair feeling super clean. Extra Fresh Body Face Bar: ✅✅✅ His favorite, like the original he said it nourished his skin but unlike the sensitive bars we usually get this one made him feel manly HeHe (it did smell really good) All in all he said he would definitely purchase most of these products again when he runs out, just the antiperspirant wasn’t too great in his book.

Everything did smell really good I am extremely jealous that he got such an awesome VoxBox !!!.

Pros: It definitely moisturizes my skin better than the bar soap I currently use. It lathers well and makes for a quick, clean wash. The smell is great and long-lasting, and I prefer this natural scent to the already good original body wash.

Cons: I haven’t used triple milled soaps before, and the smoothness takes getting used to. One of those plastic soap grippers would do well here. My only real gripe is the price. It costs close to double of what I usually pay for bar soap.

It’s definitely better than what I’ve use currently, but a smaller $ difference would make me switch more easily.

Literally the best soap I’ve ever used hands down. Citrus eucalyptus is my fav but that sandlewood reminds me of the smell of the resort I went to for my honeymoon. Very pleasant and relaxing as you exhale the aroma.

Wonderful job guys and don’t even get me started on the deodorant it’s my new favorite and I will not be using anything else but this. All I need now is for you guys to make a lotion or body cream for men.

No bar of soap can compete with the green. That would be “the luck of the Irish Spring. ” Their leprechaun advertisements can be annoying, the soap bar has been around for who knows long, but this is very effective.

When I really go to town at the gym, or go running on the swampiest hottest of days, this is what I’ll be using. For the price it’s hard to beat. Not only does it get rid of odors, it can prevent future ones.

It’s the strongest scented soap, and my goodness does this one lather up. Trying to think of a soap bar that comes close, and it’s at its own level. You can get maximum amounts with little effort, which is a plus after a ridiculous workout.

Also this doesn’t leave a lot of soap residue. My only complaint is minor. It can interfere with designer colognes. Yet considering it’s strong performance, that should not come as a surprise. It’ll last hours, and it’s available everywhere.

What a top notch product, and quite often it is for sale. You can get it in a variety of sizes, but whatever you pick, this is a consistent winner in the soap wars.

I had loved this soap and used it exclusively since the first time my parents got it when I was a boy in 1972. Recently bought it in bulk – as I usually do – and was immediately SHOCKED to find they have completely ruined the formula.

No more nice masculine Irish scent. Nope, now it leaves me smelling as if I had walked into Bath & Body Works and been assaulted with a full-on spray attack by the sample-seller of every frigging possible woman’s perfume scent the store sells.

Just having the bar sitting on the counter has even turned my whole bathroom into a potpourri den! UGH!!!! Only because I am a cheapsake do I not throw out my entire remaining supply. However, I have already shopped for and settled for an alternative, which will be my go-to soap henceforth: Old Spice Swagger – which I have sampled yesterday and found to leave me once again smelling like the MAN that I am.

So instead of making a new bar with this new gross smell to flop on its own. You take away an established nice smell and switch it for the new gross smell. In turn killing the new smell and killing the moisture blast.

If you change the packages. Nobody would care. If If you change the color. Nobody would care. If you changed the shape of the bar. Nobody would care! But no, you change the one reason the mass majority of people buy it.

The smell. I personally have been using this for. 15 years give or take. And after my father and one of my friends smelled it they also started buying it. But this new smell is just gross!!! And I will not buy it again unless the original sent is brought back.

I ordered this soap because another one was out of stock. I’m not sure why it’s called Icy Blast, which to me implies a minty smell. But to me, this soap has a very subtle scent of sandalwood. My mom loved Sandalwood incense and burned it all the time when I was young, so this is the only scent I thought it could be.

The scent doesn’t linger on the skin, although I wish it would. it’s a nice earthy, clean scent. I am a female and prefer woodsy/earthy smells over perfumy/sweet smells. It lathers nicely and doesn’t dry out my skin.

We received this product from TopBox Circle to try and review for free. First off I wanted to discuss the scent of the bar “swagger”. I (female) absolutely love the smell, it’s a sweet scent with an earthy wood tone to it.

It’s a hard scent to describe but it’s a very clean smell that would be perfect for the summer season! I will say if you’re looking for the traditional Old Spice “manly” strong scent, this product isn’t for you.

This soap bar smells nothing short of amazing! I can’t believe how long the smell lasts on your skin. The bar lathers up so nicely and it feels like it just melts onto your skin, leaving your skin feeling soft and moisturized.

This is the best bar soap for my money. I’ve used body washes in the past from many different brands, but I always found myself preferring bar soap instead. After that, I tried quite a few brands again.

This is my favorite for a few reasons: 1. It’s a moisturizer as well. As a child I had some skin rash problems and had to use the original white Dove bar soap. That is actually what originally led me to trying this one.

It certainly doesn’t make my skin baby smooth and soft (I wouldn’t want it to anyway), but it does help prevent cracking on my hands, knuckles, knees and elbows. 2. It smells good. My girlfriend loves it and says it smells “manly”.

Ok that’s all fine and good, but the real selling point is that the scent isn’t overpowering or cologne like. And, as mentioned before, it doesn’t smell like a pre-pubescent boy trying to get his first date.

3. It’s barely more than a dollar per bar. For something that cheap you would expect it to basically disintegrate after two showers. Not so with this soap. It lasts a full week usually, and very often more.

You can reasonably expect to get 7-10 showers per bar AT LEAST. So, less than $10 buy you some great smelling soap that will also help your skin stay healthy and it will last you almost three months.

It’s gone from 16 simpler ingredients to 22 and it doesn’t moisturize any where near as well as it used to. Why the major formula change from what it’s been for years without honestly disclosing it on the bottles? Companies advertise “new formula!” all the time.

This was my favorite body wash- zero dry skin quality clean scents. Now my skin is dry again and I would have never known why had I not had an older bottle on hand to check.

So sad that the scent changed on these bars. We compared a bar from the last pack to one from the new pack and it is like 2 different products with the new bar smelling like a cheap green apple/chemical smell.

It’s cloyingly sweet and overwhelmingly strong. We are likely going to donate the remaining bars to a shelter and look for something that smells better. This used to have a very pleasant masculine type of fresh scent.

The soap is great as expected but I find it hard to give this scent 5 stars due to product inconsistencies. My first bar was given to me as a gift and was a medium brown color and the scent was very oak forward with a hint of ‘spice’ to round out the scent and give it a clean and fresh quality; It was amazing! The next bars I ordered were very different; so different I thought they got mixed up and mislabeled/packaged.

Quality Control on this bar as far as scent and color consistency isn’t there. There’s no way of telling which one you will get. I’ll still order because the scent(s) are still good. just wish it was more consistent.

I’d review your product but I can’t! I ordered it October 1st and it is now 20 days later and I still have not received it!! I only live 3-4 hours from your place in Toledo Ohio and so far USPS has shipped it from you to Indiana, back to Columbus Ohio, back to Dayton Ohio.

It’s taken 2 bars of soap over 20 days to make it only half way here!!! WTH?!? I ordered something from China the same day and it’s HERE already!?! That’s 6,000 miles away and had to go through customs and it got here before your soap coming from Hebron KY which is only 175 miles! The last time I ordered from you USPS shipped it from Hebron to Indiana then up to Wisconsin, back down to Columbus then over to Dayton, up to Detroit and finally to Toledo?!? UGH! Look, the soap is great other than being a little soft and the grit etc is perfect.

But for god’s sake for what people pay for a bar ship it with UPS or Fed Ex. It may be a little more than USPS but your customer’s will be happier when they get their product sooner, use it quicker and order more often! And before we say “it’s just a fluke” I first heard of you through a coworker who buys it for her husband.

This is a household favorite and very hard to keep in stock at home as everyone loves the scent of the Cedar Citrus because it is simple, light, smooth, and it makes our hands and body skin feel soft.

It is true to the scent, I don’t recommend eating it for the taste, but you can close your eyes in the shower, and it smells like the Citrus you enjoy. My skin around my nails do not peel and it makes my feet soft, which is a constant struggle.

Finally a moisturising, deodorant soap for men that note overpowering and not feminine either. Works great for sensitive skin and hard water/heavily chlorinated Coty water too. Nice rich lather and a smaller bar that fits easily into a washcloth or hand.

Doesn’t seem to get soft on the shower either or dries out. My partner was using the “gold” soap and thought it was fine until he used this. He even uses it on his face to shave now instead of shaving cream as I bought him some disposable razors from Sams Club that he says are the ULTIMATE razors he’s ever used that gives him a close, nick free shave! He’s really happy now with Thai combination amd thinks I’m spoiling him.

It’s new so I tried it as they were out of Irish Spring. It costs more than Irish Spring with fewer bars of soap and the bar is smaller. The reason is (they say) that the bar contains moisturizing cream which means nothing to me but it might to some others.

The soap smells good and does a good job but its cost due to its amenities would probably keep me from purchasing it again.

Dove makes a great product here, just like almost every thing they make. Dr. suggested that I use Dove Men + Care products on my body. That act solved numerous problems with my 77 year old skin. I haven’t had a rash, or any other skin problem since that day.

I do have a lot of other problems. Sometimes I think that it’s the same product that, my soon to be ex-wife uses, in a different box. But that is ok with me. It could be less expensive, but we are talking nickel’s not dollars.

However one day I had ran out of soap I immediately jumped in my truck and drove down to my favorite Target only to learned I no longer could by my Citrus Bar body soap so, I was forced to switch to a lady bar of soap! (I think I cried) I tried other brands of “man soap” but quickly learned I was just wasting my money on their other so called “man soaps” I never felt nor smelt the same as I did when I used EveryManJack.

So I felt betrayed, not clean, and never smelt citrusy any more! I used to reminisce of the smell of citrus and the exfoliating qualities of my EveryManJack body soap as I wash my body with a bar of lady soap.

This was a fluke. I had purchased the Sandalwood deodorant and found it too mushy. I contacted customer support and they suggested the Volcanic Clay deodorant. When I got that, I was surprised to see they also gave me a Citrus 2-in-1 Body Bar.

From the first time I used, I knew this was different than any other men’s product I have used. There are there things I like about this product. 1) the product goes on right. What I mean by this, is that it’s not too soapy, and not to thin.

It’s just right. The concentration of the formula means I don’t have to use a lot. It is soapy enough to feel like it’s cleaning my skin, and rinses off easily. 2) One bar has lasted me 3 months 🙂 3) I like the smell.

It’s not a perfumy smell, or like other men’s products that have artificial smells. It’s very natural smelling and reminds me of living by the beach. I have become a big fan of Every Man Jack even though I don’t get the name.

First of all the customer service is unmatched! They have an incredible team that’s easy to get a hold of through text and email and the responses are prompt. The sandalwood line is amazing. The scent is perfect, the best sandalwood fragrance I’ve come across to date.

This is a very good product. Was looking for something with lime. This is nice. Maybe a bit much more spice than I was looking for. But overall a nice scent.

I use this on Sundays as my special fragrance. I like the scent very much. It’s so subtle that nobody ever says anything about it so there’s no danger of it giving anyone a headache. It stays on all day though.

have been using Royall Lyme for many decades now since it was originally bottled in Bermuda. Very refreshing scent especially in summer time. No longer use anything else. Have accustomed to the American produced since the original Bermuda sold to a U.

S. company. Not as strong as the original. I would not call it a cologne but more of a body splash/aftershave.

I have used the previous soap bar for quite some time. Recently I realized that Target was fazing it out. Then I was able to buy this. I compared the two bars: the old one was 5 ounces, small and compact, while this one is larger yet only 4 ounces.

The new one has a weaker scent as well. I guess it’s a hard sell to tell people you’re selling a lesser product for the same price so no information before putting this on the shelves. Ultimately I’ll still buy it for a while to see if it’s as good as the old soap … but I suspect it will last a shorter amount of time since it seems less compact.

I like how it doesn’t have a strong scent. The scent says it all “Clean Comfort. ” That’s how it smells. It is very soothing for the skin and doesn’t leave the skin dry. I buy this all the time when available.

I have used dove invisible solid powder scent for over 15 years. It was the only deodorant I could wear and feel confident all day. Recently I noticed a night and day change in your product. If its a new formula, it truly is terrible.

I use to be able to wear your product all day without reapplying, now I can’t make it past noon without having to reapply and even then I am very self conscious throughout the day. I truly am sad that this product doesn’t work effectively anymore.

Dislike. Do not recommend using g any products with Aluminum-based compounds on your skin. They block the sweat glands, keeping perspiration from reaching the skin’s surface. After reading thus 2003 study published in EuropeNJournal of Cancer Prevention suggesting a potential link between antiperspirant use and breast cancer, there is a realization women developed cancer 15 years earlier than women who did not use it.

Cancer risk.

Changed the formula for the Invisible Solid Powder Fresh. Will you stop changing things Dove? I cannot use the new formula. It breaks me out and it is not invisible anymore. You changed the Dove Moisturizing Body Wash and I used the new body wash one time and was dry and itchy.

I had to find another body moisturizer to help my dry skin. Now I will have to find a new deoderant. ** Everything doesn’t have to be vegan, plant based, gluten free, etc. What next? You will change your famous bar soap to be plant based? Dove was a reliable product but I am not so sure anymore.

My husband loves this soap and it smells really nice. Unfourtently this seller only sent two bars, when it states it’s a four pack. Since it stated it was a four pack I ordered two of them, expecting eight bars! I contacted the seller and have yet to hear back.

This is absoulty ridiculous. There is no way I’d pay six dollars for one bar of soap! Let alone twelve dollars for two. Very frusting. Hopefullly the second party seller will make this right and send the other six bars.

Not to mention I paid for shipping through them, and didn’t get what was stated in the description.

I’m about to throw my remaining bars away. This soap is just too drying and irritating when compared to something like Dove which is sort of the gold standard for soaps in terms of skin moisturization.

It’s fine on your body but unusable on your privates. You really need heavy moisturization afterwards. This isn’t exactly the same scent as the deodorant either but is somewhat similar. Wouldn’t buy again unless they changed the formula to include moisturization.

I somewhat surprise this product ever came to market to replace an earlier version of the soap. What’s best about it is its five ounces and a hard soap. It has a slimy feeling the first several uses and you must be careful to rinse it off as best as possible.

The scent is okay, but not great and it and the color green don’t distinguish it from the competition. If you get the soap in your private parts, you will feel it. It may be best as a hand soap, than a shower or bath soap.

Didn’t care for the green color. Doesn’t distinguish it form its competitors. How about red. It’s Old Spice’s color and easier to find in the shower when you drop the bar of soap. In summary, keep the bar size and its hardness, but work on everything else.

If you did that I’d try it again.

Old spice has always made quality products and this is no exception. I like the fragrance of these bars. The Soap bars are quite large and they last a long time. Some bars of soap disappear quite quickly.

These are well made, smell nice, look good. I would recommend.
