20 Best Deodorant For Menopause Odor (2023 Updated)

I keep popping in to see if Cremo has released an antiperspirant deodorant yet for their Palo Santo line. In the meantime – THIS STUFF IS AMAZING. I absolutely love it. Other brands overplay the citrus note and I feel like I’ve got oranges in my pits.

But this stuff nails it. The citrus note is present, but mild and subdued. The distillers spice comes through and the mix is this perfect, sweet/spice combo that is very manly, but fresh all the same.

I originally bought it as a fall/winter scent but frankly you can wear it all year. It will keep you fresh through heavy work outs as well. All-in-all a home run for Cremo. Great great stuff.

When I saw that my local Target had recently started carrying Cremo deodorant I was excited! I was already using many products from the Cremo lineup for my beard (bread softner cream, beard oil and wax), body wash, shampoo, and even the soild colonge so i figured that the deodorant would fall right in line with the all the other awesome products! I purchased both the sage & citrus and silver water and birch.

As I arrived back home I quickly made a B-line to the bathroom like a kid rushing to the Christmas tree on xmas morning. So I removed both caps to take in the scents (sage and citrus is my favorite)! They both smelled great but unfortunately that’s where the enjoyment stopped.

When I went to use the sage and citrus deodorant the next day after showering I was spinning the dial on the bottom to get the stick to rise up but quickly realized it was going no where. It appeared that the mechanism was faulty inside the stick.

I thought ok no big deal these things happen from time to time weather in the shipping process or an error at the plant where it was manufactured (Hey were human and sometimes errors are made and im ok with that).

Ok so no biggie ill just use the silver water & birch and ill return the sage and citrus later. Well that didnt go so well either. As it turns out the silver water and birch had the SAME EXACT PROBLEM! So now I’m thinking what is going on because ive had nothing but rave reviews of Cremo’s perchant for high quality products.

So after returning both of them and making sure they both work I tried the sage and citrus first. My first impression was OUCH! The stick was not soft and pliable but more harsh and the stick was very hard and felt like it was pulling my armpit hairs out with every stroke.

It was the same for the silver water and birch. In closing the scents were amazing and both seemed to do an adequate job keeping my “pits” dry and fresh but the quality of the stick mechanism and the harsh hard stick were a big disappointment.

I can let the broken mechanism go as things go wrong from time to time but until they do something to soften up the stick ill continue using my old brand of deodorant.

Sometimes I try the deodorant/anti-antiperspirant first, before I buy the equivalent scent in the body wash. Someday, I’ll have a matching set of all of them. Some users in the distant past had complaints of product being dried out, but I have not experienced those issues.

With any Anti-Antiperspirant, some flaking may occur when you remove the cap. I simply remove the cap over the waste basket in the bathroom, but this product is no drier than the standard off the shelf brands from the other commercial suppliers.

The performance of this Anti-Antiperspirant is on par with commercial brands, with the addition of great scents.

This deodorant is the best! I have tried several other all natural and aluminum free deodorants. They don’t really work and I always sweat and smell musty after applying and wearing for a while. They also leave this weird dry but waxing film that causes irritation from friction.

With this secret deodorant I don’t sweat, and if I do you can’t smell me! I actually really, really, really like the scent and when I first got this I kept asking myself what the smell was so I could purchase it to wear.

I looked into rose and geranium oil to wear as a rollerball perfume I liked this scent so much. It is very “earthy”, like something you would smell at an all natural store or something they’d use in aromatherapy.

It doesn’t smell like rose at all. It’s a warm, dry, and kind of spicy scent. A little exotic, and a tad Smokey, but feminine. I’m so glad I finally found a deodorant I can wear with confidence, knowing that it’ll keep me dry and fresh and also keep me safe and healthy by omitting aluminum from its ingredients.

The only complaint I have is that it’s not clear. It is a deodorant that leaves a white cast on clothing or cakes up in the pit if you use to much. It is also a little hard to apply until it warms up.

Then it has a slight powdery and coconut oil type texture. Hope this helped!.

Different strokes for different fokes. I found this product (Secret – Aluminum Free Rose + Geranium Deodorant) to be one of the best deodorants for me, my family and friends. We all have nothing but great things to say about this deodorant.

We like the smell, it last long & we don’t apply multiply layers on all day for it to work. Some of us have sensitive skin & make sure it’s applied on lightly & it still works great all day long. We all were looking for a more Natural & Healthier deodorant that was Aluminum Free, that smells good, and last all day long.

and We All Found It in this deodorant. Again, different strokes for different fokes.

I’m really surprised by some of the negative reviews on here. As someone who has been using natural deodorants over ten years ago before it became trendy, this is one of the best ones on the market. I even gave it a couple weeks to make sure it wouldn’t disappoint me in some minor way.

I never would’ve thought Secret would make the best natural deodorant yet here we are. It works better for me than traditional antiperspirants which is something I thought I would never say about a natural deodorant.

Seriously, I don’t know how they did it. It’s everything I’ve been looking for in a natural deodorant. It goes on dry, which I love, and doesn’t leave any residue, something I’ve struggled with other brands.

I don’t know what else to say besides it really works and actually stops me from sweating. I don’t know how since it’s not an antiperspirant but it does. For being the best out there, it’s pretty affordable, too.

I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I recently had the opportunity to try out this product and was asked to give my honest opinion based upon my experience using it. And my experience with this Secret 24 hour protection antiperspirant was indeed a positive one.

Allow me to explain my positive experience. Upon receiving this product initially and looking over the package for the very first time, I noticed right away that this was a Secret brand antiperspirant and that directly on the packaging was a bold statement in my own personal opinion.

This was the ’24 hours’ listed right there on the front of the product itself that could easily be noticed. Now, I have had many positive experiences with the Secret brand myself, but seeing this 24 hour claim of protection time when using this particular Secret product.

I gotta say, I was slightly skeptical as I’ve never known any antiperspirant/deodorant to provide protection for that long of a time window. Nonetheless, I was eager to see if these claims would be proven after using this stuff myself.

I typically take my showers at night, and on the afternoon I received this Secret antiperspirant in the lovely ‘Clean Lavender’s scent it was no different. I went to take my shower after getting my little ones all tucked in and boy it sure was a long, hot , chaotic day indeed.

I was looking forward to this shower let me tell ya! This would be the very first time trying this product. after getting out of the shower and before getting my top on, I opened this deodorant up , unsealed it and applied accordingly a fairly normal amount to my underarm area specifically.

The very first thing that caught my attention, and in a good way, was the absolutely divine scent of Lavender that this product came in. In the past I’ve always thought that the lavender scented products I had used were just too strong for me and so I typically would pass on anything in a lavender scent for a long time.

However, on this particular antiperspirant, the scent specifically is ‘Clean Lavender’. Now I am not for certain what is included in this scent along with to he lavender scent to give it an exceptionally lovely scent that is the opposite of what I’d always experienced in the past with lavender scented products.

this Lavender was very CLEAN smelling is all that I could honestly think of when attempting to describe this difference. Just as it says directly on the front of the product itself, the scent is indeed a lovely ‘CLEAN Lavender’ scent and I instantly was a fan of this specific lavender scent! So, now after my shower I would then get into my bed and read about a half hour and go on to sleep.

And on this night in particular, I was silently curious about what my results after this approx. 8 hour period of time wearing the product once I would awaken the following morning. Another check for this Secret antiperspirant, I could still easily smell the lovely and clean Lavender scent under my arms upon waking up and getting out of bed and changing into some sweatpants and an old Tshirt.

because today would be the real test of this products strength as I had multiple cleaning tasks planned for later that morning and into the afternoon. Fast forward to the end of this particular day when I would be jumping into the shower yet again as I did the night before when first using the deodorant.

As I was removing my clothing to prepare to get into the shower, much to my pleasant surprise I indeed was still able to notice a light scent of the lovely clean Lavender that was coming from my underarm area!! Now, I suppose we were basically at this 24 hour window now.

so I guess I can say that I found this 24 hour protection claim to be honest. While speaking of honest, I am going to be honest and mention that, I did actually reapply the deodorant as I typically would in between one of the two cleaning tasks that were normally on my schedule everyday.

I wasn’t even thinking that I had told myself to not do this in order to be able to notice the effectiveness of the ’24 hour protection’ statement. oops. But, let me just say that, I did not reapply the product because I smelled unfresh there under my arms.

It was because I noticed some light wetness in this area while finishing up the task I was working on and I instantly did what I would any other day and apply a bit more deodorant more as a preventative measure.

So maybe I can’t honestly speak for the 24 hour protection statement totally truthfully. That being said, I don’t do 24 hours up n moving around as , like the most of you, I sleep approx 8 hours per night give or take.

So the fact that I couldn’t notice ANY foul odor in the underarm area of my body after having worn this product all day while chasing two young children about the house pulling them off furniture and whatever else they decided to pretend was their very own Mt.

Everest right inside their home. and knocking out two pretty intense cleaning tasks, among the many many many other duties I am constantly involved in on a regular day, I have to say that my experience with the Clean Lavender scented Secret antiperspirant/deodorant was definitely a positive one indeed and this is for sure a product I would purchase and use again as a result of this experience with it.

If you’re looking for a natural scented antiperspirant product that works hard doing all the things an antiperspirant and deodorant should do. keep you fresh thru out your long , crazy days of your life, then I would recommend you check out this Secret antiperspirant for yourself.

I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I really enjoy using the Secret pH Balanced Powder Fresh 24HR Solid Deodorant. It is an antiperspirant and deodorant with a powder fresh scent that is also pH Balanced.

This deodorant applies smoothly and has a nice consistency that doesn’t feel sticky or wet in your armpit. The powder fresh scent can be strong and you can still smell it at least eight hours later. I love the scent but I could see this being a problem for anyone who isn’t a fan of powder fresh type scents because it is a bit overpowering especially if you are wearing a tank top or spaghetti strap shirt.

This deodorant keeps my armpits dry and any odor at bay even when I’m working outside in the hot and humid Florida sun for eight hours. I was really impressed by how effective it was as an antiperspirant and as a deodorant.

This product lasts and continues to be effective until I shower the next day. The one downside to this deodorant is that it is very hard to wash off. It takes a lot of scrubbing and a lot of effort to fully wash this product out of my armpits.

When you get your underarms wet while wearing it it feels like you have a layer of wax between your armpit and whatever you are using to try and wash it off. It can become really frustrating. This is still an amazing deodorant that is extremely effective.

The issue of removing the deodorant is the only reason this isn’t a five star deodorant for me. It definitely deserves four stars though and I would still recommend it to anyone looking for an effective antiperspirant/deodorant that smells incredible and keeps you dry no matter how hot you get!.

I was able to test for free, the secret clean lavender scent through shopper army in exchange for a personal review.

Upon smelling the product, I had mixed emotions. First I was thinking it would smell like lavender but, I smelt a floral scent and not so much lavender as I would have thought. I was afraid that the scent would relax me because lavender is known for its calming effect.

Upon utilizing I found the scent yo stay throughout the day which is unusual for any scent for my body chemistry. I was amazed with that. I did notice that my armpits did get moisture around 3 hours after applying.

I did not reapply to make sure the stink would still be covered from my body. I was happily suprised that after moisture occurred even after 4 hrs I still did not have body odor and could smell the clean lavender scent.

Another added benefit i noticed was he bugs stayed away from me. The only thing i had done differently was using the clean lavender scent secret deodorant/antiperspirant. I always get bitten by mosquitoes and was out late into the evening in humid temperatures and had not one mosquito bothering me.

Upon conclusion I would reccomend this product. Jim do not know if the scent being mixed as clean lavender changed the fragrance of the lavender itself or not. I did however, get a whiff of baby powder every once in awhile so that leads me to believe that the lavender scent was not as strong as I would have hoped for.

I believe secret clean lavender would be suitable for any one whom likes scented products and wants to smell lovely. Your daughter may even fall in love with it as well so watch out because you may not find it on your stand when you go to get it.

This is my holy grail deodorant. I’ve tried many different ones. With aluminum, without aluminum, natural, etc. This is the only one that lasts all day and hasn’t quit on me after long term use. It’s a roll on that goes on very smooth but doesn’t leave you wet or sticky.

I wouldn’t normally go for a floral scent and that’s what this is: a warm floral woody musk. Bergamot, vanilla, jasmine, and amber to name a few. But it’s soft and not overpowering. Almost a fresh scent.

It’s not cheap for a deodorant at all, but price doesn’t matter to me if a product works, and it also seems to a long time. About 4-6 months. I’ve been using it for years and i really hope it’s never discontinued.

I purchased the Degree Ultra Clear Black + White Pure Clean Antiperspirant and Deodorant Dry Spray a few days ago. I’ve always used Dove spray deodorant and lately it hasn’t been working, I was getting pit stains on my shirts and it wasn’t holding up to the heavy sweating I seem to be doing lately.

So I decided to try Degree. I had high hopes, but have been disappointed so far. It says that it doesn’t leave white marks on clothing…yeah it does. After I spray there are little balls of deodorant in my arm pits that fall down my shirt and get on my floor and clothes.

I thought at first I was doing something wrong so I followed directions to a T and it’s still not working. The ONLY good thing I can say is that it holds up after hours of sweating. I’m still very disappointed.

I’m extremely sensitive to smells so I can’t really use anything that smells flowery and definitely not lavender, since I’m allergic and I will get immediate migraines. Finding a good deodorant that won’t leave stains, doesn’t smells like flowers, doesn’t leave white balls, and holds up to sweating seems to be impossible.

This is my first time trying Degree Antiperspirant Dry Spray Pure Clean Deodorant and I really was pleasantly surprised! I was a bit hesitant about spray deodorant but the dispenser sprays just the right amount, almost like a mist versus spraying large amounts that make your underarms very wet.

This was not the case at all, the product sprays a light mist and this allows you to apply as much or as little as you want. I really like this product as I have a little bit of OCD and apply deodorant at least a few times a day.

This spray allows me to spray just a light mist for “touch ups” throughout the day! It really works great and I’ve noticed when using this deodorant I don’t re-apply as much during the day which is amazing! I absolutely love the scent as well, it’s very light and fresh.

Also, I was concerned that it would take a while for the spray deodorant to dry but it actually dries extremely quick! Wonderful product.

It’s by far the best natural deodorant I have tried (and I’ve tried several). It isn’t too wet or sticky going on and doesn’t mess up my clothes, and the unscented really does have a completely neutral scent.

It’s non-irritating to my skin, which tends toward sensitive. It works well to keep the odor away when I’m in the office doing normal work-related things, but I will say that it doesn’t necessarily hold up if I sweat too much (sometimes I resort to chemical deodorants in the peak times of summer).

I have to say that this new Degree Motion Sense Anti perspiration Deodorant, is the best deodorant I’ve ever tried. I’ve been really trying to find a good Aluminum free deodorant for what seems like forever but I haven’t found a keeper yet.

It has these clever microcapsules that sit on the surface of the skin. As you move, the friction causes the capsules to burst, releasing fresh fragrance. Which makes it especially great for anyone who works out or play sports or just likes to smell amazing 24/7.

There’s an array of scents to choose from, I chose Sexy Intrigue which is an amazing scents of of jasmine, red rose, Tahitian vanilla and spicy amber. One of my good friends actually asked me was I wearing a new fragrance because she loved it, and it was my deodorant! This is definitely the first time I’ve been pleased with a deodorant all around, the scent, the price point, plus the fact that it works 24/7.

I usually use aluminum free deodorants during the colder months when I tend to sweat less. They don’t hold up during the warmer months because they don’t actually stop underarm sweat but do block odor.

I hate to feel sweat under my arms, it’s so uncomfortable! So in the warmer months I always run to degree, I really like the sexy intrigue scent it never fails! I only use a little and I’m good all day.

(PS you literally need some arm strength to scrub it off in the bath).

I love love love this deodorant! It has a scent that pairs well with different perfumes or body products. I never have found it to clash with any other scents I have on. I have never found this to stain my clothes or leave any white residue, which is sometimes hard to find! I often face stress sweat this does the job at keeping me dry.

I have also tried the spray version in the same scent but prefer the stick. Highly recommend!.

I really love this Degree dry protection shower clean invisible solid. I have the travel size which I love because you can easily fit it in your purse for a touch up. I never need one because the quality is great but it’s always nice to have just in case.

It’s an antiperspirant and deodorant which is the only kind I buy no matter what brand. This deodorant keeps my armpits dry and makes them smell good. The smell is a nice clean smell and I enjoy it. This deodorant can last 24 hours and longer.

If you haven’t tried degree I recommend you do I don’t think you’d be disappointed.

Well Degree has alotta option of anti perspirants and deodorants. I choose Dry protection shower clean invisible solid hoping it’s not gonna make a white marks on my clothes. Unfortunately for me it doesn’t work that way.

Not this option. My clothes has alotta stains after every apply. Nice scent and a reasonable price but that’s all. Overall not what I expected.

I’ve used this for years. I work warehouse jobs and the job I had prior to my new one was very physically demanding. If you weren’t sweating you weren’t working! This deodorant was the preferred brand for me and a few other girls I worked with because it kept us dry, no wet armpits or armpit stains in our shirts.

It didnt wear off and stayed on throughout the day. I use the fresh scent. The only bad thing is that it dulls my razors because even after I scrub in the shower it still leaves residue, but it’s worth it to not have to reapply deodorant mid day because its worn off.

The scents aren’t overpowering and it’s a good price as well.

I’ve been using this deodorant for the past like month and a half almost 2 months and I loved it so much I came to leave it a good review. I assumed it was gonna have really good reviews and was super surprised by all the negative ones.

This is why you shouldn’t let negative reviews stop you from trying something. Just because it doesn’t work for others doesn’t mean it’s not gonna work for you. Everyone’s body is different. I personally really really love this deodorant.

I’ve tried several different aluminum free deodorants over the last 2 years and this is definitely in my top 2. The smell is nice. It smells like natural lavender, not the synthetic lavender smell you normally smell in products.

But I like that. It goes on smooth. At first it’ll be a little wet but after like 3 min it dries down completely so I don’t mind that. I only have to apply it once in the am and i still smell fresh by the end of the day, I don’t have to reapply.

People mentioning that they smell worse with this must be people who may have recently made the switch to natural deodorant, which is normal. Your armpit go thru a detox stage when making the switch.

After like 2 months I noticed I no longer smelled because my armpits had adjusted to it. But just a little trick for those berly starting or even anyone in general who wants to make sure they don’t smell, apply a little bit of glycolic acid toner (I use the ordinary one) on a cotton pad and apply it to your armpits, let it dry, and then apply your deodorant.

Glycolic acid kills the bacteria that causes the smell. Do this on hot days and I swear you won’t ever smell like BO again. And no I’m not getting paid for the review, I purchased this deodorant myself.

FINALLY a lavender deodorant that actually smells good. I have tried a lot of different natural deodorants over these past few years and I tend to have to use unscented ones due to the fact that the scented ones are often super overpowering or I smell like a spicy herb garden.

I had tried a few Toms of Maine deodorants before but I don’t like citrus scents or anything too musky or overpowering so I wasn’t a huge fan of the other smells. I got this one as an extra sample with an order from a wellness shop and I am SO glad I did.

I LOVE it! FINALLY a lavender deodorant that doesn’t itch, or burn, or soak through my t-shirt the second I apply it, or leave a big wet rash under my arm. But most of all, finally a soft, light, slightly sweet lavender scent that doesn’t feel like I am projecting my deodorant smell across the room.

It’s so pleasant, I find myself getting a soft gentle smell of it every so often throughout my day. Please keep this scent in your line-up, I will be using this one for a long time.

I have used Tom’s of Maine toothpaste and deodorant pretty much my whole life – I love their products! I was super excited about plastic free deodorant! However, the natural strength unfortunately doesn’t last very long at all for me – I find that I have to re-apply a couple times throughout the day which is super frustrating.

With the long-lasting lavender deodorant, I’m good for the day after just one application in the morning. I would love love love if there was the long-lasting version in the plastic free packaging! As it is, I think I have to go back to the long-lasting one.

(I’ve also tried a few other brands that use plastic-free packaging and I just haven’t like them – Tom’s is the best!). At any rate, for someone less stinky this would work fine I’m sure! It’s a great smell and a good product overall.

However, the appeal of the pH balancing property made me interested to try it anyway. Upon first application, I was very surprised at how smoothly it went on. It wasn’t like many other solid stick deodorants where you have to sort of push harder to get it to spread.

It almost went on like a roll-on. I also noticed that there was no white residue at all, and it went on clear. The scent was lovely as well. Unfortunately, within the first few hours, although I could still smell the powder scent fairly strongly, I could also smell odor coming through behind it.

I understand at times needing to reapply any deodorant after a workout or when sweating, but this was after applying after a shower and not doing anything strenuous. I ended up having to reapply at least once throughout the day while wearing this.

This pattern continued over the several days I used this product. I ended up having to switch to another variety of Secret. Overall, I liked the application, the scent, and the fact that it didn’t leave white reside despite being a solid stick.

However, I can’t recommend it based on its intended purpose as a deodorant. Having odor come through within a few hours of applying, and having to reapply, defeats the purpose for me. Everyone’s body is balanced differently, and I’m sure this could work for someone who isn’t sweating a lot, but it did not work for me.

It really works for 24 hours. I took it with me to reapply after a sweaty workout session but didn’t have to reapply at all, and I had a very noticeable reduction of wetness in my underarm area as well as no underarm body smell for the whole time I was wearing it other than the scent it gives which is light and flowery.

I actually found myself catching whiffs of it throughout the day and thinking how good it smelled. I also love the packaging. It is slim and much easier to hold and control than a lot of other deodorants.

I also noticed that you really don’t see this product going on, and it really is invisible and didn’t wear off on my clothing or show up by discoloration to my clothes when I wash them. It doesn’t create white chunks under my armpits after extended wear at all and never makes my armpits sticky or gooey.

It stays on my skin but doesn’t leave a filmy greasy feeling mess and washes off easily in the shower with soap and a body pouf. I had no skin reactions to the product at all and have used it religiously over the past few weeks.

I also only had to apply it once daily as opposed to every few hours with other deodorants I’ve used in the past. I look forward to using and trying out the other scents that Secret makes in this deodorant.

I feel like I’ve found a real winner with this one!.
