These metal barrel permanent markers used to be great. They have recently changed manufacturing to China, and the new batches are HORRIBLE! Dry out quickly, nib seems too soft and deforms quickly. I have an older marker that has been on my desk for YEARS that was Made in Mexico, and it’s still like new.

We buy hundreds of these per year for construction use, but now feel like we will need to find something else. I really don’t see how contractors will continue to use this inferior product.

I love these marker’s! They work great on oily, damp, and hold up great on the dirtiest industrial sheet metal and raw metal surfaces. The cost comparison to other brands is high, but considering I’d throw away other brands at almost a 5 to 1 comparison, these stand above the competition.

I have washed them in my work pants on accident many times, the top kept out the water and there was no leaking of ink onto clothing. No clip is only reason this is not a five star rating.

These have been so useful to have on hand. We recently moved and are doing alot of decorating and, wall hangings, and just many different “projects”. These are so great because they write on anything!!! Metal, Plastic, Glass, Painted walls, Stainless steel, wood, I mean literally anything!!! They are great for marking measurements, like when you are trying to hang pictures.

You don’t destroy the wall with permanent marker or strain your eyes trying to see a pencil mark. These are very dark and thick writing, but can actually be wiped away if needed! Another great thing is that you don’t have to carry a pencil sharpener around with you because you just unroll the string like wrap to expose more of the marker! My husband loves these for cutting wood for building at home, and for his various labor needs at work.

I made a bit of a guess when buying this as not very clear what to use it for- it’s labelled a ‘water mark’ pen, but as it was with the embossing powders I presumed it was for that. Luckily I was right and this double ended (large and small nibbed) pen has made embossing small details, my handwriting, or anything I can’t stamp really easy.

It’s slow drying so gives you plenty of time to get your powder on. I’ve heard people complain that other pens dry out quickly, this one seems good quality so I hope it will last but we shall see.

Very impressed with this pen. We didn’t want to use a stamp as it wasn’t personal enough for us so we decided to try the pen. The double end means we can change our writing and still have our personal touch.

Easy to use and we were surprised by how long it stays wet enough to add the embossing powder, meaning we were able to write/draw everything we wanted before adding the powder.

I originally bought both the VersaMark stamp pad and marker but although the invoice listed both only the pad was included. Customer service was great in resolving this and I now have both. That being said I love both but find the marker especially good for thin delicate enhancements or writing sentiments which I later emboss.

The pen works well and the accompanying eraser end is very handy for a person like me who can often mess up how they are holding a ruler. Doesn’t show up on darker colours though, which is unavoidable but a bit frustrating.

Would have been nice if sold as a pair with a white marker.

Really useful for marking fabric. The eraser end works well and pen can also be removed with water. Fine tip for accurate marking. Mark is not very strong so might be difficult to see on patterned fabric.

Bought this to mark out fabric for embroidery designs. The line is very fine so you can get good details. The colour is very visible but also erases really well! Would definitely recommend

Used for a dot-map wall mural with amazing results! Good coverage and color fidelity. Unbelievably consistent flow from every single marker. Excellent color. These are truly the best paint markers I’ve ever used.

This was my first time trying the acrylic markers. I have not explored all the possiblities for their use yet, but was pleasantly surprised that when used on canvas they are opaque rather than thin and translucent.

i honestly love these microns so much, its my second set! it works great on its own and on top of a light gouache. they really have a professional look to them, even in the scratchiest doodle compared to my nice sarasa pens.

they do not dry out and this variety is a great set of widths. the tips on the 0. 05 and 0. 1 are a little delicate though, so be careful when drawing otherwise they will bend. i will say too, they can feel a little dry when you use them after a while, but once you get a little bit of scribble going on, the ink flows normally.

the price for these are so great too if you use a coupon and come super fast! love these microns + love buying them at michael’s as well.

Sakura Pigma Micron size 05 – 0. 45mm – Earth colors set. Love the colors. Love the archival qualities of the ink: permanent, non-acid. Don’t love the stepped cylinder construction near the tip. I hold my pens close to the tip & I grip these Sakura Pigma Micron pens right AT the step from the smallest cylinder above the metal tip to the medium cylinder inside the area the cap covers.

Even so, due to an unfortunate flooding incident (AC drain plugged & water dripped into plastic basket holding some notebooks & all pages were lost, EXCEPT those I’d written with Sakura Pigma Micron pens) I am switching from my previous fave & comfy to hold but NOT permanent Staedtler Triplus Fineliners to Sakura Pigma Microns for my general-purpose pens.

I bought this set because I wanted to try 3 of the colors, and figured at that point I might as well get the whole set rather than buying them individually. Having tried them, I’m not 100% convinced.

I will say that I LOVE the lighter Fresh Green color. I wish I could get that in a smaller size, like an 01, to match my other Microns. The darker Hunter Green is ok, and is a nice addition to my green options.

I am actually kind of disappointed in the “Burgundy” color, though. It’s really more of a brick or a reddish dark brown, than the dark wine red I was seeking. The Micron line really doesn’t have the sort of red I want, since the regular red is more orange than I want.

Unfortunately, this Burgundy won’t really fill that spot either, though it will provide a greater range in the browns, especially in combination with the regular brown and the Sepia that is included.

The pens themselves are all of good quality, however, and I’ll be glad to have them as I am working on some of the more organic patterns in my Zentangle inspired art.

I bought this set after first trying out a few open stock Ballsign pens; that’s how much I love them! I’m used to the 06 tipped Classic Gelly Rolls, and I thought that the 0. 4 mm Ballsign would be too thin or scratchy, but I was pleasantly surprise.

They are richly pigmented, waterproof, and the knock mechanism is sturdy and satisfying. All the pens started right away and I’ve experienced no problems on the papers I’ve used. The unusual shape of the pen adds to its appeal, in my opinion; the pen is easy to hold, and all the colours in this set are very inky, without laying down a feathered line: the lines are contained and crisp, and the ink is vibrant.

I don’t do arts and crafts and bought these pens solely to use during regular writing. These colours are readable, even for extensive notes, except for one: the yellow, which I find too pale. My favourites of this set are the Aqua Blue, the Blue and the Black.

The orange is lovely too. I’m not crazy about the pink, much preferring the Ballsign Rose Pink. But out of all the Ballsign colours available in 0. 4 mm, my favourites are, hands down, the Rose Pink, the Blue Black and the Brown Black (which I bought as open stock from JetPens); can’t get enough of them!.

I’m liking these a lot, but not as “in love” as I’d been when they first arrived. I’d been researching gel pens for so long, I think I was just relieved to have finally purchased Something – just to have made the choice at last! In terms of price, color range, brightness & all around utility, I think I made the correct choice, & I’ll stick by it – after all, this was the first set of gel pens (non-glitter) I’ve bought, so I’d expect a bit of room for improvement in choice-making on my part, but I can’t think of anything I’d do differently.

When it comes to bang for buck, these just do it for me – but I know I’ll be adding colors to the set as I go. It’s got a good starting range in the set, bright & sharp enough, but one set is never enough! The points are fine enough to suit me, though when laying down a large area of color, they do tend to leave stroke or scratch marks.

That is probably the result of my heavy hand, though the pens do seem to have a drier ink than either the Gelly Rolls or the Decorese – both also Sakura products. The shape of the pen is really a plus for me.

I’m a calligrapher, and anything I can do to “rest” my hand while writing is a plus; these give it. And the don’t smear, like larger-pointed, juicier-ink pens. A good, all-around gel pen, I’d say, for writing & coloring.

The. 5 pen is somewhat challenging to get a smooth line with. The colors are fun. The shape of the barrel at the end, where it gets wider, is a little strange. You don’t know where to put your fingertips.

also, the pens are too light in weight to be serious for long writing or note taking.

We love having the dot markers available for all of the children to use. Even our 12-18 month olds love to dab them on paper and see the different colors appear as if by “magic”. This particular product lasts as long as the more expensive one and the colors are just as bright.

For paint (pens) that writes on just about anything – IMO Edding are the best by a BIG margin. The paint stays put too. For example writing your house number on a plastic refuse bin which sits out in all weathers – the paint stays for years.

The paint is consistent in colour too.

Love this pen. I do calligraphy/signwriting, mainly on plastic laminate and it is the best one for this. It’s permanent but taken off non porous surfaces like plastic with white spirit. It has a fine nib (but comes in other sizes) which suits my work.

It is very dark and black, being a paint rather than an ink. It doesn’t leave tiny unfilled areas (where it shrinks back) on plastic like others I have used.

Simple fix for small areas and resealed for future use. Couple of shakes and ready for application. No half empty tins left around to eventually be thrown out. Good selection of colours.

A friend had told me about identi-pen after I complained about smearing when I put varnish on an item I had painted and signed with another brand “permanent” marker. This really does work on anything – glass, slick labels, whatever.

I had bought a couple on another web site; they were a little pricey compared to the other brand, but then I found them on dickblick at an amazing priced. Hurray! Ordered enough so I always have one handy when I need it; even carry one in my purse!.

I use the marker on the Strathmore Blank Cards and Envelopes. The ink holds up well, and the dual tip is a nice feature depending on the thickness of the line you require. I’ve been using this marker for over 10 years, and haven’t run into a problem yet!.

I absolutely love this pen! I use it to edge the top edge of my resin coasters and it looks great! I have a gold one too. The pen glides well and provides good coverage. Really pleased with the price too as I previously used one that cost 20 and the nib started fraying after a few uses!.

As a balloon twister, Ive tried lots of different markers, cheap and expensive and the only ones which truly worked well for embellishing balloons is the edding 750 marker. 1 Dries very quickly- great for line work, doesn’t go wet if a balloon deflates or pops so no splatters on clothes.

2 Very opaque- covers any colour balloon without changing colour itself. 3 Over-paintable- can draw one colour over another and it covers beautifully. Its the perfect marker for balloon artwork Only down side is that I have to shake it a lot before use but it wont stop me reordering as its such a great product and gives amazing results.

I bought this to put festive drawings on my windows. This pen was quite chunky so hard to draw on fine details but it went on well and came off again easily weeks later. I was happy enough with it that I bought a couple of the finer ones for a friend and their kids.

This is a great product perfect for festive cheer. Just activate the nib and off you go.

Students use these to decorate our building for holidays and other special events. They are the easiest to apply, they apply consistently (few drips and few hassles), they clean up well, and they are priced well.

Colors are true, unlike some of the other brands! Shipping was fast and the order was well packed to handle the stress of package handling.

I bought the white Crafty Dab Window Writer to decorate store front windows of a business and they worked great! It was so quick and easy to dab and has a nice texture. I bought 10 not knowing how far each marker would go and was surprised with how much paint was in each tube.

pleasantly surprised. wish I had ordered more colors. but was great. Easy to use, nice colors. so far the dogs haven’t licked them off and the birds and bats aren’t flying into the patio door. During the day the birds weren’t too bad.

BUT. at night the Bats had my dogs going “batty”. Sorry about that.

The first pen I can recall buying that feels and works as desired. One of, if not the only, pens that doesn’t feel that it’ll quit on me 1/4 of the way through. The price point isn’t for most though, that I understand.

The selling points for me were: 1. Reputation. For the product reputation and price charged, it should not fail prematurely or give me issue unexpectedly. 2. Reliability based on reputation. 3. It came with a stylus that should be long-lasting.

Since I can’t justify carrying a normal pen or stylus, much less both at once, this hit both in the shape and size I needed for pocket carry without being uncomfortable. 4. Replacement parts. For the price I’m paying, I expect parts to be available.

They are! (unlike too many products on the market). It comes with a medium point by default so I bought a fine point and am happier with it. Medium is good, though less so for smaller and cramped writing like small notepads.

I love this pen, I’ll always keep it in my bag or my pocket! Its rainbow color really makes it special, it puts me in a good mood when I see it! As for the engraving, it’s perfect, subtle but brings a lot of character to the pen.

This is my favorite pen. EVER. I don’t even use disposable pens any more. It looks polished and amazing, it writes in any position, and it accepts refills. No BS, just all amazing pen. It is so compact, I carry one in my wallet for situations where I might need a pen.

Not that expensive, either. You can easily find them for under $20, which–for what it is, is a great value.

I wanted to use this on glass and food storage plastic containers. it doesn’t work on all surfaces, especially when the glass was cold – the moisture repelled the wax pen, even when moisture was wiped off.

it worked OK on some surfaces when i pressed harder. i recommend ordering qty-1 to try it, before you buy a whole pack.

I had to buy these pencils for my microbiology class to write my name on Petri dishes. They work great, easy to use, and easy to write with. Washes of easily. Works on glass, metal, and plastic. I love sharpie products.
