I would recommend this combo kit to anyone! These tools are powerful, light and very durable. This combo kit may be a little more expensive then their competitors but it is 100% worth the extra money.
Love my new dewalt 5 tool combo kit, even bought an impact wrench to go with it. Can’t wait to use them all, only concern I thought this was made in America? Why does all the tools say Made in Mexico and the batteries says Korea?.
I’m a DIY kind of guy who has an appreciation for good tools. Dewalt 20v tools are value priced and deliver professional results, I would recommend them to everyone.
The M18 1/2″ Cordless Hammer Drill/Driver features a metal gear case allowing for maximum durability while use in heavy duty applications such as drilling into concrete. The Hackzall M18 One-Handed Recip Saw’s lightweight design provides superior control and versatility while working.
The M18 1/4″ Hex Impact Driver provides faster application speed thanks to the impact mechanism that delivers force directly to the fastener. While using all these tools, the M18 Work Light can help illuminate your work space.
All these tools can be powered by the two M18 XC High Capacity RED LITHIUM Batteries and 1-Hour Charger.
I bought this set on CyberMonday I am not a professional, I simply bought this set to do projects around the house. So far I have been able to use the Hammer Drill, HackZall and light. I haven’t had the opportunity to use the Impact driver so I can’t review it’s performance but I can say that it is light in weight and feels good in the hand.
The Hammer Drill has 3 modes that you can switch between (hammer, drive and drill). It is a bit heavy on the wrist after a while but overall it’s a great drill and feels balanced. The flash light seems bright and sturdy, just wish it had a focus feature to spread out the light and cover more territory.
The HackZall is awesome! I put a 9inch Milwaukee blade on it and used it to dismantle about 4 wooden pallets. I cut the nail heads right off with no problems. The only time I saw it struggle a bit was when I hit a pallet with about 5 nails in 1 wood panel.
It slowed down a bit but was still able to work it’s way through and do the job. I like that it’s light enough to use it with one hand. The carry bag that it comes with is okay, nothing fancy, simply a zip up bag to carry your tools.
Doesn’t seem super heavy duty but isn’t cheap either. Overall this is a great set and should do the job for the average home owner or hobbyist that wants quality tools to last a long time.
I purchase tools (among other things) for our aerospace machine shop. Been buying Milwaukee cordless and corded tools for the last ten years, replacing DeWobble junk purchased before my stint. Still using a NiCd cordless tool kit at home, purchased in 2002.
It’s been joined by a lithium based kit, that I love. I purchased this kit basically just for the extra batteries and charger, to be used on my electric bike. It also rounded out the few tools I was missing.
Unfortunately, I failed to notice the batteries were only 3Ah, which is not enough for an eBike. CPO took the set back without a hitch. I hated to see them go back, but the expense was a little too extravagant for tools I wouldn’t use much, and batteries too short lived for the purpose I bought them.
Hope to make it up to CPO Milwaukee in the near future. Awesome company to deal with!.
You can’t go wrong with Milwaukee tools. I use them practically every day. My current set (seven years old) still functions very well but batteries just didn’t hold a charge as well as they used to. I figured I’d purchase this set an get new batteries.
This set is a GREAT value with the the four items and larger batteries and now i have the flashlight. Haven’t had a chance to test out the reciprocating saw. Different design from my old one.
M18 18 V Cordless 1. 5 Ah Li-ion Compact 2-Tool Combo Kit (Power Drill/Driver, Hex Impact Driver) by Milwaukee. With this superior combo set of power tools, you’ll be able to tackle with a DIY or professional project of any complexity easily and effortlessly.
Including all power tools you might need in one package, this kit will come you in handy whether you are just starting your 1st tool collection or want to expand your current tool box. Enjoy the convenience and flexibility of this multi-functional combo set ensuring the latest in performance and the ultimate in value.
I purchased this combo kit because I needed a 2nd drill and I wanted an Impact Driver. I already have the Milwaukee 2601-20 drill/driver and 2x18v batteries and absolutely love it. So when I saw the price reduction it was a no brainer.
Unfortunately that’s where the excitement ended. The drill in this combo according to Homedepot. ca is stated as being the same 2601-20 drill/driver that I currently have, but it’s not whats included in the kit and HD really should update the information.
What the kit does include is the much more inferior 2606-20 drill/driver. The quality difference between the 2606 and 2601 is significant, they don’t even look the same nor do they do not feel or operate the same.
The problems I encountered; changing the transmission from 1 to 2 is very difficult, there were times when the switch would not switch completely and would be stuck between 1 and 2. Operating the drill feels very rough when you release the trigger you can see and sparks inside the drill, while there are always a few sparks with a brushed drill, the amount of sparks for this drill is in my opinion unacceptable, I have neither of these issues with the 2601.
In addition to the sparks the drill makes a very strange sound as the electronic brake attempt to halt the motor, again not smooth. Lastly and what really did it for me was the amount of heat the drill generates, I just don’t believe this is something a quality drill should be doing and will likely lead to early failure.
As impressed as I am with my 2601-20 drill, I was equally disappointed in the 2606 drill that comes in this combo. At first I thought that I may have a defective drill, but I tried 2 combo sets and both had the same issues, if you look at some of the reviews you will see I’m not the first to report these issues.
I retuned the set and purchased a Bosch combo, which I am very happy with.
Here it is. I don’t do many reviews but this one is a must. First thing first I do own most of Milwaukee line and use them Hard for work daily. the impact is grate, all 4 of them are running strong and I will never change to anything else.
The drills on the other hand are having few issues. 2 drills seam to have the same issues. Chuck get sticky and one of the 3 prong became of set. One drill I had to discard completely. I’ve been slowly upgrading to brushless ones, which is more money and it seams to hold so far.
Other then that Milwaukee is great tool and there is a potential to become better.
I purchased this kit on sale from a box store’s online division two months ago. My initial thoughts were that these were well built tools that should perform well for years to come. In the short time I’ve owned them, the batteries are holding a charge about as well as the 20 volt 1.
5 ah batteries that my previous ones did. They were part of a drill driver kit that was 9 years old. I’m also experiencing problems with the impact chuck not releasing the bit after some continuous use.
You need to reverse the driver and allow the impact to rattle the chuck loose while engaged on a fastener. It may seem a bit nit picky, but the stitching one of the contractor bag handles is also fraying.
This drill/driver kit has never seen extreme weather or temperatures. Based on the performance of this new tool, I won’t be spending any more money on Milwaukee cordless products.
Fastest application speed. Most drilling power. Compact design. Milwaukee brushless motor: optimized for efficiency, this motor delivers more run-time and longer life. Product details Brushless Motor · Lithium-ion · Case Included · Soft Case · With Multiple Batteries The 1/2′′ Compact Brushless drill/driver (2801-20) and 1/4′′ Hex Compact Brushless impact driver (2850-20) feature the M18 cordless systems patented technologies and electronics, innovative motor design, and superior ergonomics, providing the most efficient blend of power, weight and performance in the industry.
At 6. 5′′ in length and 500 in-lbs of torque, the compact 1/2′′ drill/driver is the best combination of size and power in its class, while the compact 1/4′′ hex impact driver has the fastest application speed in its class and delivers 1,600 in.
-lbs. of torque. Compact design ideal for overhead or tight spaces. Brushless motor and battery create longer run time. Compatible with the M18 system, featuring more than 175 tools. Fastest application speed and most drilling power.
I bought this set at a hardware store. And went to use it and the impact did not work. Tried multiple battery’s of my other Milwaukee tools and still nothing it was a day old. Took it back they gave me.
A new set. The impact was put to the test helping a local 4H group build some animal pens for their barn. The Milwaukee was the only one there and most every one had ryobi and there was even a harbor freight impact there.
I went through 7 battery’s to every ones 1-2 battery’s all equivalent six battery’s. We were building panels on an assembly line so pretty equal use. I even own ryobi stuff for around my home it was a gift.
I have my Milwaukee stuff at home. I am very disappointed in the performance of these tools. The drill also makes a noise when you let off the button and it is in the clutch. The drill gets really hot when you use it.
I have bought two of these they twist my wrist and then they shut off. They can’t drill a 4 inch hole in 1/2” sheet rock. Well; eventually after eight or 10 minutes of it shutting off and jerking my wrist.
It is a miserable tool to use and a disappointment for any contractor especially plumber who tries to run a drill bit in it. The only thing I could use this drill for, is hanging pictures. I can’t think of another use for it.
It’s this brushless crap. The brain in the drill has no idea how much power to give the motor. Then the moment the drill feels a load it shuts down. I sent the first one for repair, the second one I just threw at the salesman.
Literally. Why is the minimum one star, this drill deserves lower. I was complaining at the supply house when the guy next to me said he replaced his every year. That’s a lot of sales congrats Milwaukee I should buy stock.
I have many Milwaukee tools in 12 and 18 volt sizes. They have always been reliable. However, it is odd that it was the keyless chuck that failed on my 28 volt Milwaukee drill and has failed on my M18 drill.
For some reason these chucks bind once they are tightened around a drill bit. The chuck will release just a bit and then lock up. It takes a large slip groove plier to get the chuck free and the drill bit out.
I still recommend the drill, but a person may want to consider the price of a better keyless chuck along with your purchase. Then I suppose one would have to compare prices with the competition, as maybe other brands have good quality chucks.
All the Tools You Need The DeWalt 4-tool combo kit is great for a wide variety of DIY projects. The 1/2 drill/driver features a 2-speed transmission 1/2 ratcheting chuck and an ergonomic handle. Make accurate cuts with the reciprocating saw and its keyless blade clamp which allows for quick blade changes.
The circular saw with 6-1/2 carbide blade can cut 2 x 4 boards at a 45° angle in a single pass. A powerful 5 250 RPM motor delivers power and speed to make the most demanding cuts with ease.
There were those online who were running to the big box home improvement store to buy a $199 set of lower powered beginner tool. Once they start using the set and even getting experience in the tools, they will want more power and will want to upgrade.
Start with this set by paying a little more upfront and you will not have to upgrade. The saw is great for cutting the 2x4s and 1 thick 4’x8′ sheets. The reciprocating saw gives good performance in demolition.
The Dewalt drill is better and more powerful than the lower powered drill of the home improvement store green colored drill. Used daily by contractors, these tools provide the buyer their money’s worth.
I have used this Combo Kit for about a month, after work and on weekends. Great combination of a 3/8″ Drill, Reciprocal Saw, Circular Saw, and Flashlight. I’ve used all extensively, except the flashlight.
All are very sturdy, reliable, and all have performed better than I had imagined while I’m updating a rental property that I picked up. I haven’t even taken a corded tool to the rental yet. These tools have done everything that I have started out to do.
The canvas carry case is nice too. Heavy duty. Whether it’s spade drilling through double thick flooring or cutting through layered walls, including underlying plaster and lathe boards, this trio of DeWalt 20 Volt battery tools do the job without hesitation.
The reciprocal saw uses the same blades as any corded one. None of these DeWalt 20V battery powered tools bog down much more than any corded tool. Very good price and the combination of the 3 tools with 2 batteries, can’t be beat! Also, besides this seller’s great price, they ship very quickly.
I bought this lit this year and it is great ! The circular saw works very well, takes a little getting used to but practice makes perfect! The reciprocating saw works well also! The kit came with two batteries and a charger and the battery life is good.
The half inch drill rounds out the assortment nicely as well as the light!.
The Milwaukee M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Combo Kit (6-Tool) has all the tools you need to tackle a wide range of drilling, driving, cutting and grinding applications. Powered by REDLITHIUM for greater torque and longer run time, this set is durably made to withstand the toughest jobsite wear and tear for years of reliable use.
hello so I will start by saying my Mother is one of the first ticketed journeyman carpenter in the world. my father is a award winning carpenter and wrote some of the courses they teach at colleges. I am 40 years old and have been in the trades my hole life.
I wanted some good cordless tools. after some research I thought Milwaukie M18 where good tools. I purchased a kit. none of the batteries worked in my first kit. I got a second kit and they are so finicky you have to try three four times to get the battery to charge and not say its defective , every time you want to charge it.
if you can get it to even connect right. I feel that this company has 0 quality control. it is ridding off a name it some how got as a good tool company. these tools and batteries are junk. I have lost money and Milwaukee will not even call me back.
home depo went above and beyond to replace the kit and help me and make me feel like they cared. Milwaukee well wont even call me back. so I sure do not feel like a valued customer. I will be returning all my tools and never risk buying another Milwaukee product as long as I live.
this kit has served me well for the past 2 years. i just had my trusty SAWZALL die on me today. the batteries that come with it are bogus. but for the price. ??? not bad. the little pin that holds the blade in the sawzall has decided it wont return to its closed position.
we all know a sawzall gets into some wack places. but the plastic on metal feature is a little lame. maybe FUEL is that much better? hard to replace with the more expensive one when another option from the same company failed after not so long of intended use.
I got the whole tool kit as something to take on the road with me. I had used the drill but it’s small sizing makes it hard to get any good pressure on it with out covering the air vents in it. This is a problem on all tools that they try to minimize the size as a point of sale.
The warranty with the tools is great as I had to get the drill looked at. I’ve used all the tools that came in my kit as well as the extra impact that I bought. They work great for small jobs but for bigger I still prefer my corded tools.
Lithium-Ion Cordless Combo Kit Delivers the Power to Make the Most of Demanding Maintenance Work The DeWalt DCK620D2 kit is a collection of 6 powerful cordless tools that you can use to get your woodworking, plumbing and maintenance applications done at home.
With the 3-LED light ring, you can comfortably work in an illuminated environment without worrying about shadows. Powered by 20V lithium-ion batteries, the tools can perform a wide range of cutting, fastening and drilling applications.
I bought this kit 32 days ago. Seems like an oddly specific number, but there is a point. The circular saw is worthless for anything more than a few cuts. I was using the saw again yesterday as I only needed to make about a two foot cut into a piece of siding.
(Previous experience had already taught me this saw could not handle prolonged work. ) About halfway through my cut, the saw stopped dead. Not only did the saw stop, but now the battery does not work at all.
When I put it on the charger, the charger indicates that it is fully charged, but the battery does not work at all. When I push the battery test button, the three bars light up for a lil-second and then immediately die out.
So, I took the pack back to Lowe’s to see if I could exchange it, but I am beyond their 30 day in store return policy. I thought maybe I had a faulty saw, but after reading the reviews here, the circular saw seems to commonly be a piece of junk.
I mainly use the cordless drill, which works wonderfully. I guess the short operating time of the saw is good enough for small project which only require a few small cuts, but don’t expect to be able to do much cutting of large pieces of siding or plywood.
I am considering just taking advantage of Dewalt’s 90 day satisfaction guarantee and returning the kit, as I really only need the drill. I am very surprised the saw is so inferior as I have used Dewalt products for nearly 20 years and they are some of the best tools you can buy.
I’m a cancer patient and have struggled with money to fund my tool collection. When I reviewed all combo kits and physically operated all the many different manufacturers, I kept coming back to Dewalt.
The batteries, tools and expanding selection was a easy choice. The tools are strong, reliable and lightweight which makes it easy for me to get projects done. Since selecting Dewalt over other brands, I have added many more Dewalt tools to my collection.
All have worked flawlessly and handled every task I’ve tackled. Dewalt should be proud of the tools they create. Their reliable and I’m proud to recommend them to everyone I know.
I work construction building houses I’ve had this set for almost three years it works great the saw cuts great and the blade stops quickly when you release the trigger the impact and drill drive screws, bolts and drill holes easily with plenty power the reciprocating saw also works nicely and blade can be removed quickly over all a great cordless kit to have for the professional or the at home do it your selfer I dont have much negative to saw except you definitely want to upgrade to the bigger 4 a.
h. batteries and also the kit comes with only 1 large canvas type material bag for the entire kit. You can fit the whole kit in said bag but it will be quite full and the tools will be piled on top of each other which seems like a bad way to store or transport power tools.
other than that with the upgraded batteries it’s a great buy.
The Porter-Cable Pcck619L8 20V Max 8-Tool Combo Kit provides the tools needed to get the job done. The Drill features a high-performance motor and a two-speed gear box that delivers the power needed to complete tasks easily.
The Impact driver offers 1450 in/lbs of torque, and 0-2,800 Rpm, 0-3,100 Bpm. The 6-1/2″ Circular Saw has a high-performance motor that delivers 4000 RPM’s for aggressive cutting, and a beveling shoe that pivots up to 50 degrees.
The Reciprocating Saw delivers 1″ stroke length and 0-3,000 SPM with a compact design allows tool to reach tight spaces and a tool free blade release. The Jig Saw features 3 orbital settings and a variable speed trigger (0-2,500 Spm).
The Oscillating Multi-Tool also offers a variable speed dial (8K-18K Opm) along with a LED work light for better visibility. The Cutoff Tool operates on a high-performance motor that produces 8,500 rpm and has a 3-position side handle for easy of use.
And finally, the Flashlight has a pivoting head with 4 LED bulbs that delivers 120 Lumens.
The above statement I do not make lightly. For over twenty years I worked as a carpenter until retiring from the field over 5 years ago. I have used many cordless tools throughout those many years and they continually got better, lighter, and more powerful.
The last professional set I owned was a multi-piece 36-volt Rigid set, along with a 24-volt Milwaukee set. The PORTER-CABLE PCCK619L8 20V Max 8-Tool Combo Kit comes with: 1. ½”-Inch Drill/Driver; 2. 6-1/2” Inch Circular Saw, 3.
Reciprocating Saw (Aka Saw-Z-All) 4. Jig Saw 5. LED Flashlight 6. ¼”-Inch Impact Driver; 7. Oscillating Multi-Tool 8. Grinder. 9. 2 Batteries and Charger 10. 2 Storage Bags So far, I used the first five listed.
All are as good or better than a similar variation of that tool. Unlike other ½”-inch Heavy-Duty Driver-Drills, this one doesn’t feel too awkward—either too big, too top-heavy, or too bottom-heavy because of its massive battery for simpler jobs.
It’s well-balanced and compact enough to perform minor home repairs like driving-in screws or other little stuff. All three saws (6-1/2” Inch Circular Saw, Reciprocating Saw and Jig Saw) are very capable and well-balanced.
I’ve never understood why all cordless circular saws come with a left-sided blade while its corded 8-inch big brother commonly comes right-sided but that’s a complaint for all cordless circular saws! The Reciprocating Saw felt as capable as my previous 36-volt version; and the Jig-Saw felt like a noisy little beast.
The flashlight is insanely bright but small and convenient—and in Florida it’s guaranteed we will lose power at some point. I haven’t had a need to use the multi-tool but plan to make use of the grinder soon, as I will be stripping the paint off an aluminum-frame bike to repaint it.
Having used the other pieces, I’m confident it is up to the job. The PORTER-CABLE PCCK619L8 20V Max 8-Tool Combo Kit I received is the best cordless set I’ve owned. Period.
The DCK592L2 20 V MAX* premium 5-tool combo kit includes a hammerdrill with a 3-speed transmission, reciprocating saw with keyless blade clamp, lightweight circular saw with 6-1/2 In. carbide blade, impact driver with visibility, and a 20 V MAX* LED work light.
This is a solid kit, the circular saw and reciprocating saw can’t be expected to replace your corded tools but this is an excellent value. I know people will complain about the bag but it’s the same quality as and bag that comes with any kit from any of the other big tool brands.
These tools aren’t Dewalt’s top of the line products for sure but they’re all solidly constructed and preform well. The 3ah batteries are sufficient power for the drills and light but can be a little short on runtime if you’re running the saws constantly.
Again the 6-1/2 circular saw can’t be expected to replace your corded saw for framing, Dewalt makes 60v saws for that. So if you have an understanding of what you’re getting and where these tools fit in to your kit expect a good bang for your buck.
These are my day to day tools and handle pretty much everything I need them to do.
I bought this a couple months ago on sale. It seemed like a good value, but I was a little concerned as some of the reviews complained that these were all brushed models. Having used them non-stop now for the past couple months, I have no complaints, I am now invested in DeWalts 20 volt system.
All of the tools have plenty of power, and my concern with battery usage in the Brushed tools, proved to be not an issue. I still felt that the battery life was better than my other teal colored tools.
The Saws have plenty of power, I did not notice any loss of performance going from corded to 20 Volt, but lot of gain in convenience and portability. I find myself using my circ. saw and Recip saw more now that I am free of my cords.
The Hammer drill and Impact driver are great, solid, strong. No complaints. Only draw back is the flash light, I feel it is a little wimpy as far as output, but I didn’t buy the kit for the flashlight.
Best purchase I ever made! I love how everything is cordless. No more tripping over cords again! The description on this site isn’t clear, but the only tools that are brushless are the Oscillating Tool and the Angle Grinder.
The only knock I have against this kit is, the Reciprocating Saw doesn’t come with any blades, and the Angle Grinder only comes with a metal grinder disc (no cut-off). Also, it would’ve been nice if the Grinder had variable speed, but it doesn’t.
** Some things to keep in mind: I ordered it online, and when it arrived, I was initially shocked to see that the box said “5-Tool Combo Kit”, but on closer inspection, there’s a sticker that says, “Includes Angle Grinder & Oscillating Tool” which makes 7.
Aside from all that, I have no regrets about purchasing this kit when it was on sale. Example: I bought this a month ago and am so happy that I did.
The Drill/Driver is designed to be compact and lightweight for tight spaces. The Impact Dr iver has a 2-speed transmission with up to 1500 rpms for a range of fastening and drilling applications. The Circular Saw has a high strength steel shoe for long-term cut accuracy and durability.
1-5/8-in. depth of cut at 45 degrees and 2-1/4-in. at 90 de grees. The work light comes with a convenient hook for hands-free use in dimly lit work spaces. LED output up to 110 lumens.
I really have not used the kit yet except for the drill. And it compared to my older 18 volt drill for the most part. It seems smaller and lighter than the older drill with the same power. I am interested to see how the saw works.
I was not satisfied with the 18 volt saw even when it was new it seemed to lack the cutting power I expected. I am hoping this saw will be noticibly better.
I purchase this kit about a month ago, to upgrade my older Dewalt hand tools. I used all tools on a couple of projects and must say Dewalt keeps building better products. Thanks Brian
The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 2Tool Combo Kit includes a 12in. Hammer Drill Driver a 14in. Hex Impact Driver two REDLITHIUM batteries a multivoltage charger and a drill side handle. The 12in.
For a drill that’s heavier than pretty much any other 12V drill currently on the market the performance is middling. But its performance is ok. I want light weight and good ergonomics in 12V and this tool with its heft and top heavy design doesn’t cut it.
The light is dim, poorly positioned and goes out too quickly for detailed work. The clutch is perhaps the worst part of drill. I’m totally fine with an electronic clutch. The problen with this clutch is that drill speed is tied to the clutch setting.
The lower the clutch setting, the longer the ramp up and the lower the top speed. I don’t want the clutch to influence drill speed. That’s what the variable speed trigger is for. With the clutch set, it’s impossible to pulse the drill which is what I do to set delicate screws.
For larger bits and hole saws I prefer to drill with the clutch set so a bind won’t wrench my wrist. Overall I find nothing good about this drill other than it being part of the M12 system of tools.
I’m a major fan of Milwaukee tools having used them all during my career as an electrician. I started buying them for my home use in 1978 and still have those first drills and Sawzall. Now that things are moving to battery, I started buying those tools as well since many of my M-12 and M-18 batteries are still providing good service.
I bought this hammer drill as a replacement for my corded version and am incredibly happy with its features including the option of using it as a regular drill and really appreciate the variable clutch for driving screws.
I get great run time out of this brushless model and believe me there is a difference between brushed and brushless! The hammer drill setting works well for drilling in concrete anchors and Tapcons. It has incredible power for only a 12-volt battery.
Solid construction makes me think I will be using this for many more years.
This isn’t your average hammer drill. It’s got the settings of most hammer drills, hell it even has the function of most hammer drills. Fact of the matter is…This is not your grandfathers hammer drill.
No ma’am. Wether you’re looking for speed or accuracy to get the job done. This tool drills it home that it is clearly worth it’s value. Never mind the fact that if the battery is dead, the drill itself can be used as a hammer! Talk about versatility! I plan on buying one for my niece for her 6th birthday party, my grandmother for her 97th.
I might buy a few and donate ‘em to the next “toys for tots”. Sorry your parents aren’t around anymore kiddo; but guess what!? You got yourself a Milwaukee hammer drill. You can build yourself a home now!.
Efficiently complete your tasks with these Kobalt cordless tools. They are suitable for both professional contractors and DIYers, and their compact design will allow you to work in tight spaces while reducing fatigue.
The tool kit includes a cordless drill driver, an LED work light and an impact driver. The hammer drill driver’s brushless motor delivers up to 1200 in-lb of torque. As for the impact driver, it will provide an impressive 2400 in-lb of power.
And last but not least, the powerful LED light will help you see better in the dark thanks to its 700 lumens output. Also included are a 2. 0 Ah battery, a 4. 0 Ah ultimate output battery, a charger, 2 belt clips, a double-sided bit (PH2 and SL6), a PH2 bit, an auxiliary handle and a hard case.
Good value for strong power tools. The xtr line has more strength than the standard ones. It was quite torque-y when using a hole saw only 1-1/2. The included handle for the drill is helpful for that.
It has a safety feature where if it gets stuck and jolts, spinning the tool, it auto shuts off. Had that happen a couple times at first. Once you get used to it, you know how to hold it steady, so its not an issue where the tool shuts off ok you a lot.
Love this line, the quality, the style and appearance, durability the power. Only issue that I’ve had and I’ve seen other users have with the xtr line in the 4ah battery one of the wire that attach cell to board has a tendency to burn and than break.
The xtr impact is an amazing tool , very powerful with an assist mode to get you started or for lighter duty screw driving. I can confidently say that this tool is right up there with milwaukees impact.
I would also say that although very close and I own the kobalt xtr I still believe that milwaukees impact still beats out kobalt xtr impact in high-end power on actual work applications.
Very powerful and long lasting. Much more impressive than I’d expected. 1st use of the impact wrench popped off rusted, stuck bolts on my truck with ease! In fact – a warning. The torque on this tool is such that it will shear off cheap “Impact Quality” adapters.
Make sure your sockets and adapters are true impact quality or you’ll be fishing the fragments out of the chuck.
The Milwaukee M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion cordless nine-tool kit has the tools you need to tackle a wide range of drilling, driving, grinding and cutting applications. Featuring patented technologies and electronics, an innovative motor design and superior ergonomics, these tools give you the power, weight and performance to tackle whatever job you throw their way.
Powered by REDLITHIUM for greater torque and longer run time, this durable set is made to withstand the toughest jobsite wear and tear for years of reliable use.
I have to say that I waited a long time before I made that purchase. I shop around, waited for Black Friday and finally decided to buy last November. The package was delivered very fast and I was super happy when I received it.
I got exactly what I was expecting. Milwaukee is a litlle bit more expensive than the other brand but there are best you can buy and it’s most likely my last set of tools, so I treated myself well with this excellent 9 tools combo kit.
The Milwaukee M18 Cordless Lithium-Ion 3-Tool Combo Kit includes the M18 Compact Drill/Driver (2606-20) and M18 1/4 in. Hex Impact Driver (2656-20) and M18 Sawzall (2621-20). The M18 cordless system’s patented technologies and electronics, innovative motor design and superior ergonomics provide users with the most efficient blend of power, weight and performance in its class.
The compact drill/driver and impact driver are powered by Milwaukee REDLITHIUM CP1. 5 lithium-ion batteries, delivering more torque, more power and longer run-time than the competition. M18 SAWZALL Reciprocating Saw delivers exceptional durability, speed and run time.
The all-metal gearing and REDLINK Intelligence provide ultimate performance and protection against job site conditions. The M18 SAWZALL Reciprocating Saw provides up to 30% faster cutting and 50% more run time in key applications versus leading competitors.
The slim front-end design provides improved ergonomics, offering maximum comfort and control.
The impact wrench is a sturdy and compact tool and has made light work of the bolts, nuts and even large lags I’ve used it for. And while it can be used for changing a car tire, the nuts should be torqued by hand.
The grinder has a nice feel to it and the convenience of cordless has again been appreciated. However, I haven’t had opportunity to put it through any extended use as of this review. I would rate the two tools higher but as a kit I give it a lower rating because it comes with two XC5.
0 batteries. There is nothing specifically wrong with the XC 5. 0 battery and they’ll work well for most consumers. However, both tools perform better on HO batteries(which I already own). I use the HO 6.
0 on the grinder and an HO 3. 0 on the impact wrench. One of each would have been a better pairing with the tools in this kit. Overall these are quality tools.
The 2892-22CT M18 2-Tool Combo Kit includes the 1/2 in. Compact Brushless Drill Driver (2801-20) and the 1/4 in. Hex Compact Brushless Impact Driver (2850-20). The M18 Cordless System’s patented technologies and electronics, innovative motor design and superior ergonomics provide the most efficient blend of power, weight and performance in the industry.
The M18 1/4 in. Hex Compact Brushless Impact Driver has the fastest application speed its class and delivers 1,600 in. /lbs. of torque. Our M18 Oscillating Multi-Tool cuts up to 50% faster and delivers up to 2X more cuts per charge than the competitors.
The Milwaukee M18 Multi-Tool has best-in-class speed and performance and offers you the versatility to complete problematic jobsite applications. The Milwaukee M18 5 in. Random Orbit Sander delivers corded power with 12,000 Max OPM output.
The orbital sander features a 7,000-12,000 variable speed dial delivering users with more control over the output of the tool to match the orbit speed for the application.
Instantly upgrade your tool kit, adding two powerful and compact cordless tools, with this Milwaukee M18 Lithium-Ion 2-Tool Combo Kit. It includes an M18 1/2″ hammer drill/driver to help you drive screws and drill holes faster, as well as an M18 hex 1/4″ impact driver for high-torque fastening.
Both tools in this cordless tool combo kit are powered with M18 REDLITHIUM compact battery packs, which are recharged sequentially in the included multi-voyage charger. The awesome M18 Redlithium battery technology provides double the run-time, 20% more power and half the required recharges.
With a peak torque of 500 in-lbs on the hammer drill/driver and 1,500 in-lbs on the hex impact driver, they each give you the power you need to complete the toughest jobs, in a lightweight and compact package.
These tools in the Milwaukee M18 lithium-ion 2-tool combo kit both feature a frameless Milwaukee motor in a robust and innovative four-pole design.
I am on my second attempt at this kit. In the first kit one the 2. 0 and one of the 1. 5 Amphr batteries would not charge, flashed red/green right from the start. The store exchanged for another yesterday, last night put one battery in to charge and this morning still not fully charged.
Put the second battery in the charger and flashed red/green right from the start. Two lemons in a row! This is my first attempt at Milwaukee tools, not a good first impression. Also, only one drill comes with a belt clip.
Seems very good at first glance. Bought it yesterday. Milwaukee tools seem to have a good reputation. The only thing I would say so far is that the online ad says that Bits/Blades are included in the kit.
Not so. Only the Drill and Driver, 2 batteries, charger and bag are included. Not complaining, just pointing this out.
This is a well-built tool at a good price. I haven’t used the impact driver much, but the drill/driver had lots of torque to drive screws into framing, and the included batteries lasted reasonably. The tool is compact and lightweight, compared to my older Ridgid driver, and was less fatiguing to use and more maneuverable in awkward spaces.
Upgrade batteries are available with longer run times, but I found the included ones charged faster than I could discharge them. I like the feature that shows how much battery life remains.
Lightweight and compact design reduces users fatigue (8. 25″ long and 3. 5 lbs). Drill/driver features ergonomic handle design, LED light and bit storage. Drill driver is lightweight (3. 5 lbs. ) with a compact design (8-1/4 in.
length), which reduces user fatigue. Drill driver’s ergonomic mid-handle design is well-balanced for added comfort. Drill driver has an integrated LED light, which provides illumination to work area and a bit storage for convenience.
5-1/2 in. circular saw delivers 3,700 RPM for a variety of cutting applications. 6 in. reciprocating saw features tool free depth adjustment and bevels at 45 and 90 degrees for specialty cuts. Compact reciprocating saw features 0 – 3,000 Spm, 7/8 in.
stroke length, tool-free blade change and a pivoting shoe. LED work light brightens work area. 18T Circular Saw Blade, 6 in. Wood Cutting Reciprocating Saw Blade, Kit Bag.
DCD771 has a high speed transmission that delivers two speeds 0-450 and 1500 rpm for a range of fastening and drilling applications. DCF885 offers 1-handed loading for its 14-in hex chuck that accepts 1-in bit tips.
DCS381 with keyless blade clamp allows for quick blade change without touching blade or reciprocating shaft. DCS393 with 6-12-in carbide blade can cut 2-ft x 4-ft at a 45-degree angle in a single pass.
DCG412 has an 8000 rpm motor that provides high power for cutting and grinding applications. DCS355 has a quick-change accessory system that allows blades and attachments to be changed quickly without wrenches.
DCV517 has a gore HEPA wetdry filter which traps 99. 97 of dust at 0. 3 microns. DCR006 runs off 12V20V MAX battery packs and has Bluetooth 4. 0. DCE100B blower has max air flow of 100CFM and DCL040 is a bright flashlight to illuminate your work area with LED output of 110 lumens.
Purchased in September of 2020 – have been using on house, outdoor commercial projects and at cabin. LED light is bright – accidently left it on with a 2 amp hr battery overnight – approx. 14 hrs and it was still shining.
Circular saw has plenty of power, good rpms, and MUCH quieter older 18v saw. The vacuum is powerful and the extendable hose is nice for under vehicle seats and smaller areas. It also has an easy to reach on/off switch.
The recip saw is strong and easy blade change along with good variable speed trigger. The oscillating tool is versatile – didn’t think I would use it much, but has come in handy for many projects. The grinder has quick start-up power and does not bog down on heavy jobs.
The side handle can be installed on either side for small clearance jobs. The quick change blade and blade guard are easy and stay put. The blower has high RPMs for both garage and outdoor use. The impact driver has excellent power and finishes smoothly along with the LED lighted head.
The speaker is loud and crisp and provide easy listening in the house or on the job. The drill is a great tool because of the 2 speeds 1 for power 2 for speed applications. Overall – great tool kit and should last a lifetime.
Wife got this set for me for Xmas since I was complaining about needing 18v batteries. All I can say is wow! All tools are much smaller and lighter than my OLD 18v stuff. Lots of stuff here I thought I would never use I use weekly or even daily! Little vacuum is so convenient to keep in the car! Little blower is awesome for garage floor and driveway also outstanding for camping!! Grinder works good but chews these 2ah batteries.
I haven’t used the Bluetooth speaker as I also have a radio. The rest of the stuff is very comparable to my 18v tools just lighter and smaller. Dewalt should give you atleast one 4ah or bigger battery though.
Great value on Black Friday!! Oh and the big bags are AWESOME huge upgrade from the old bulky plastic boxes!.
I started working for Lowe’s back in 2001, just weeks before the 911 attacks. I’ve never saw a family company like Lowe’s come together before. Lowes donated more supplies, tools and products that I’d ever witnessed before.
Out of all the tools Lowe’s carries, Dewalt, by far, is the BEST! They last much longer, much more durable, reliable and just better than all other tool brands, all around. We rarely ever get any Dewalt tools returned.
When we do, it’s only because the wives bought the wrong tool and the husband’s have to exchange them, lol. Dewalt is the tool brand you should invest in!!!!.
The 2697-22 M18 2-Tool Combo Kit includes the 1/2″ Hammer Drill Driver (2602-20) and the 1/4 Inch Hex Compact Impact Driver (2650-20). The M18 Cordless System’s patented technologies and electronics, innovative motor design, and superior ergonomics provide the most efficient blend of power, weight and performance in the industry.
Powered by lithium-ion, the M18 cordless system delivers more torque, more power, and longer run-time than the competition. Features of the hammer drill/driver include 4-pole frameless motor, variable-speed trigger, all-metal gear case for maximum durability, and built-in LED (light emitting diode) light.
Length of drill/driver is 8-1/2″”. Features of the impact driver include 4-pole frameless motor with rare-earth magnets, proprietary impact mechanism for maximum application speed, variable-speed trigger, built-in LED light, and quick change chuck.
Length of impact driver is 5-3/4″. Combo kit also includes (2) M18 red lithium XC extended capacity batteries, (1) M18 & M12 multi-voltage charger, contractor bag. Number of Tools: 2 Tools, Volt: 18V, RPM: Drill: 550-1700 rpm; Impact: 2200 rpm, Torque: Drill: 525 in/lb; Impact: 1400 in/lb.
I have been a Milwaukee fan and user since 1976. I was introduced to Milwaukee when I took a job as a sheet metal mechanic/ductwork installer, using a Sawzall. It was the only Milwaukee tool in my company’s aresenal.
Everything else was cheap B&D or worse power tools. The Milwaukee Sawzall took a licking and kept on kicking, the most dependable tool I used. I’ve owned Milwaukee since, along with a blue tool here and there.
I bought this set to replace a Ryobi set that has NiCad batteries and the drill was not a hammer drill. Just a cheap set I keep around the house. We’ve had snow and sleet in recent weeks and I watched the snow plow knock my mailbox from its perch.
Charged up the Ryobi batteries and went out the next day to fix it. The impact driver would not even remove a decking screw that had been in the post for 20+ years. So I put away the cheap stuff and got out my new Milwaukee impact driver, lithium ion batteries, that promptly broke the screw off neatly below the face of the post.
Now that’s power. Milwaukee made the job a breeze. In short order I was done and back inside by the fire. This Hammer Drill/Impact Driver with the free 3rd. battery offer was a deal I couldn’t pass up.
I have to be honest, I thought I made a huge mistake when I errantly purchased the 2697 kit. I didn’t realize I was buying the kit with brushes??? I considered returning the kit before I received it, however, I decided to keep it and I do not regret it at all! I do not use this kit but once or twice a month, therefore, this kit works just fine for my needs.
The drill is really nice but, I love the impact driver! The impact driver is amazing when using screws on wood. The difference between the M18 and the M18 Fuel is the Fuel id much heavier and it has about 400 lbs of more torque.
If I used it for a living I would definitely purchased the Fuel but, this kit is Milwaukee and that means quality regardless of the model!!! I recommend this kit model!!!.
Purchased this set as a “reconditioned” tool kit. I am not sure what the CPO reconditioning process is, but the tools were received in poor visual condition and had quite a bit of accumulated grit and dirt on them.
Apparently they were never cleaned as part of the reconditioning process. My own tools would not get this dirty in my shop after a year of hard use. These tools looked like they had seen a lot of jobsite abuse.
The battery charger was stained with paint drips. I have purchased recon tools from other suppliers and they looked like new. The only difference was that the tools purchased from others did not come in the original packing.
Other than that, they showed almost new. The only positive from this transaction was that it appeared that the battery packs and tool bag appear to be new. The tools work well and I am a Milwaukee convert after using just about every other brand of cordless tools.
Ye, I would recommend the tools from a performance standpoint, but I would not recommend purchasing reconditioned tools from CPO.
With the DEWALT 20V MAX 5-Tool Cordless Combo Kit (3 Ah) (DCK590L2) the user has the ability to tackle a variety of projects with efficiency and quality, whether working at home or on the job site. The 20V MAX Lithium Ion Hammerdrill features a motor that provides 535 unites out of max power.
The 20V MAX Lithium Ion Reciprocating Saw allows for flush cutting and versatile positions while working. The 20V MAX Lithium Ion 1/4″ Impact Driver has the capability to fit into tighter areas for greater access.
The 20V MAX Lithium Ion LED Work Light features a 120 Degrees rotating head with an integral hook allows for multiple placements.
This is a great deal for five tools everyone should have around the house. The 20V Lithium-Ion batteries are powerful, efficient, have a longer life and smaller size than previous battery types out there.
DeWalt’s cordless system means that the same battery charger and range of battery packs can be used to power all sorts of other tools as well, which means expanding your set of tools in the future will be seamless and integrated.
Pluses of the models included in this set are: LED light on the hammer drill and impact driver; ergonomic and easy-to-handle design for radial saw and reciprocating saw; and flashlight with adjustable head – the flashlight can be set on the floor or hung from a loop integrated into the top of the unit.
I would have wanted LED lights on both the radial saw and reciprocating saw; and spirit levels on the body of the hammer drill; but otherwise the site is quite complete and packed with nice added functions.
Circular saw: Ripped 4×8 plywood without a problem, after sawing many 2×4’s. Lightweight and easy to use. Hammer drill: used to drill into concrete, 10 times and had power to spare. Settings are intuitive and easy to use.
Impact driver: lightweight, easy to use, a lot of torque for a small drill. Light: very bright beam! best light in the house. Reciprocating saw: have not used yet, but expect the same performance as other tools.
Carrying bag: very heavy cloth and strong zipper, built to last, exterior pockets.
I bought this last week because i was looking for a small circular saw to knock down 4 X 8 sheets to a more manageable size for projects. The cost of the saw and batteries and chargers was prohibitive so even though I didn’t need an additional drill and driver, I found a sale at Home Depot (Canada) and bought the last combo they had.
Since then I used it for the entire project of building a flip top rolling tool cabinet. I have also used the drill and reciprocating saw. Great combo for the price. Lightweight and solid.
