20 Best Cutting Board For Chicken (2023 Updated)

I’m glad I replaced my current one with this board! I will be honest from the pictures it looked thinker than the one I had, also it didn’t have a hole in it to hang! Also, I read one review that lower my expectation a little! When I opened it and start using it, I immediately loved it! First, it looks great! I love the size! It’s a little wider than my last one! Second, it is very stable on my marvel table.

Last, it is high quality and it’s only going to add class to your kitchen.

This is a nice cutting board and grips the counter top well. The plastic cutting surface is odd on my knives, as I am used to cutting a wood board. Also, as others have commented, the juice wells are not too deep, but this makes it a bit easier to clean.

I would not put a plastic cutting board into the dishwasher as a rule, though OXO indicates this is possible. Hand cleaning does the job.

I had previously had a bamboo board and liked it for its durability, resistance to knife cuts, easy cleanablity and attractiveness. Nevertheless, it was smallish and I often ran out of real estate while working on large cuts of meat.

No longer. This thing has all of the above properties and adds size enough to accommodate the largest chunks of meat I can use. Its drip channels and collection sink for juices have a useful capacity, and board sauces are simple with this setup.

If there is any downcheck, it’s the size. This is a BIG and HEAVY piece of gear: it’s sometimes awkward to clean in any but the largest sinks, so you can end up with soapy water all over your counter.

Juggling it can be a little dicey when it’s wet. And finding a place for it to hibernate between uses is tricky because of the generous footprint–the obvious counterpoint to the utility its size provides.

All things considered, and adding its utility as a serving and presentation piece at table, it’s worth its price. (If nothing else, it’s pretty enough to leave out on the countertop. ) If Camp Chef were to offer something about 20% smaller, it would still be quite useful but a bit more wieldy.

If you can accommodate to its size and weight, you’ll find it a very useful and enjoyable cooking tool.

Very high quality, I love that it has a large workspace. Perfect for keeping rib mess off the counters. Also has a large enough area to chop up all ingredients for salsa, the outer edge has the integrated channel, to keep liquids from running off.

It sits perfectly on top of my pellet hopper om my woodwind, so I do not need to roll out a separate table. I would leave it on my counters all the time because it looks so nice, but I have limited counter space so it goes in the cupboard.

I really do love this board. Unfortunately it came after I smoked my brisket. (Long story) It sits out on the counter and is used for everything from simple sandwich making to cutting vegetables for a meal.

Can’t wait to use it for slicing a newly smoked meat!.

Very disappointed with the durability of this cutting board. The very first roast I sliced on this cutting board left deep scratches and score marks to the point the surface is no longer smooth. Also the board is not made of wood but apparently a cheap plastic composite.

It looks nice, and fits well in the holder on the side table but that is it.

I bought this about 2 weeks ago to go with my Weber collection of products, I was excited to get this cutting board and decided to use it to cut some pork loins and found afterword the surface was all knifed up.

I’m not sure at this point if I should even continue to use it as I do not want that composite in my food. I will try to return for an exchange but I hope another board wont do the same thing. as I said I only used this one once.

Excellent quality product. Exactly as described. A slight redesign would make it perfect! Firstly a slightly deeper edge trough to catch juices. Secondly a hand grip/indent to ease lifting tray when in use.

They dont scratch, they dont stain, they dont move around on the counter. I adore these. I cook a lot, so I use cutting boards a lot. And Ive been through so many different brands over the years. Ive had these for almost a year now, and they look the same as when I bought them.

I do not put them in the dishwasher, but thats no hardship. They clean up so very easily.

Very disappointed! Purchased this cutting board for my son as a Christmas Gift as he recently received the Pit Boss Smoker for his birthday. I received the board and it’s a plain board with NO Pit Boss logo embossed logo as the description indicates! I could have just purchased a plain cutting board for half the price! The logo was the main reason I purchased this board and very very disappointed!.

Pit Boss products are the top of line for outdoor cooking. This cutting board is magnetic on the bottom and fits right side tray of the Pit Boss 1100 Series Grill perfectly. The magnet is very strong does not slip.

The wood is top quality too. I treat the board with 100% mineral oil purchased at Walmart in the pharmacy section of the store.

Great cutting board! Has a very strong magnet which I didn’t expect. Your knife won’t move around if you set it down on the board. Can even take your cutting board out to your grill and put it on the side shelf.

This thing is big! Large enough to carve a turkey or slice a rib roast but still just small enough to clean pretty easily in a home kitchen sink. Ive run it through the dishwasher twice and it is still nice and flat, hasnt bowed at all.

I have a very small kitchen. I needed a cutting board to fit over my double sink. I use the space for cutting, setting bowls etc. To give me a little extra room. Absolutely perfect.

This pack of three cutting boards represent both quality and value. The boards have non slip feet, although you can flip them over to use the other side. The three colors make it easy if you want to keep seafood, meat and vege prep separate.

The cutting surface is gentle on blades, but provides a firm surface that doesn’t flex during use. Each board has a cutout handle for easy handling. They can be put through the dishwasher although Henckels recommends handwashing.

The only feature you won’t find here is a juice channel. They could be used for serving though I prefer my wooden and marble boards for that. Exactly what I wanted in a prep set however!.

It’s a great value for a set of 3 quality cutting boards. They have rubberized feet on the bottom of one side so these are not really reversible use cutting boards and are great for cutting vegetables, fish and small cuts of meat, if you really have to use a butchers knife to get through bone I recommend a solid wood block as these cutting boards might have some rebound on a heavy chop.

Very easy to clean and since the surface is not porous you won’t have to worry about lingering odors. The surface is white and I have not cut any staining foods on the cutting board yet so I do not know how they will clean up when cutting staining foods on them.

Finally, since these are made of high quality plastic material, I do not suggest testing any hot pots or pans on the boards as they could melt.

I was in the market for new cutting boards since the ones I had were starting to look beat up. I knew I needed more than one and I was happy to find this particular set. I liked how they were each color coded on the edge.

That way I can use each one for different things. Green for veggies, red for meat and yellow for fruit. The cutting boards are of good quality material and the weight is nice. The slim profile of the boards save space in my tiny kitchen.

The material is safe for my knives. I don’t have to worry about my knives getting damaged. I recommend these cutting boards!.

This was recommended by America’s Test Kitchen. It is luxurious to have space to cut. However, despite this being the recommended size, it is really too much in my rental house’s kitchen. My sink is a pretty standard sized builder grade sink and this is so big washing it requires using the sprayer which is a little messy.

It is dishwasher safe but it is way too big for mine, which appears normal sized. My biggest issue is that I actually do not have a cabinet big enough to to comfortably store this when not in use. For reference my house is about 1800 square feet with a fairly average suburban kitchen.

Love the design of this. Its very practical being able to use both sides and having a drip trough around one side. Very easy to clean either by hand or in the dishwasher. Especially pleased that the feet grip to the kitchen surface and dont slip.

I like the knife friendly surface. I believe my old board was dulling my knives with every slice. The groove around the edge helps prevents fluids from spilling onto my counter top. A proper sized board; you don’t feel like you are running out of room when you are cutting or chopping average sized items.

Easy to clean, and as yet, it hasn’t retained any stains. For the price, you can’t beat it! I only gave it four stars because you never know what the future holds with any given product; but right now it really deserves five stars.

I’m very pleased with this Winco cutting board in the 15″ x 20″ size — quality is very good and it’s a generous work surface without being too large to store. The yellow color allows me to sort my various cutting boards for different purposes.

The quality is good. The boards are not what was pictured. Disappointed that I was sent red boards not blue boards as pictured. I wanted blue boards Need to fix the ordering options correctly.

At. 75 lbs. i wouldn’t ever consider taking this backpacking. But for car camping, it works perfect. Fits inside the cooler nicely and has some nifty little features like the drip moat on one side (goes all around the edges on one side of the board) and the little rubgerized feet on both sides (8 total feet, 1 in each corner on each side).

However, the only bad thing related to car camping is you could probably still go bigger a bit easily since this only measures 7. 25″ x 10. 75″ (useable cutting board surface only 9 5/8″). I’ve only used mine a handful of times and already you can feel the cut marks on the board, but the alternative is a cutting board that dulls your knife, so.

Great little cutting board though, no real complaints and would definitely take on my next car camping trip just because it is a little smaller but would still have enough room for my purposes and the little drip moat nicely prevents messes.

The size of the cutting board was nice and compact, It was easy to pack with the rest of my gear. I used it when camping for food prep. It provided a nice clean surface. Worked well for cutting fruits and veggies.

The only time I found it small was when I tried cutting a large 16 oz steak. I wouldn’t want to pack a larger cutting board though. I don’t always eat that well when camping. It felt sturdy yet lightweight.

This cutting board is fantastic. It’s lightweight but I’m certain that it’s indestructible. I’ve never done it before, but I’m pretty confident that even falling into a fire for a short period of time would not warp it- it is very solid plastic.

I have always used Epicurean cutting boards and they are fine. I wanted to see what all the hoopla was about Bamboo – and I am very glad I did. The quality of this board is excellent but I especially like the way it cleans up – very easy with no “splotches” or grease marks.

And my knives – and they are really good knives – just don’t seem to mark the board.

B-a-n-a-n-a-s! This bright yellow cutting board is cheerful it’s easy to forget it was purchased with a reason – to color code for specific foods. It’s sturdy and fits in our dishwasher, with a handy hook to hang it to thoroughly dry in the dish room.

These are very nice cutting boards. They hold up to use as well as any solid plastic cutting board. I particularly like the hook in the corner. When paired with the hanging rack for use on metroshelving, the boards conveniently hang without touching each other.

First of all, this cutting board is made of good quality material. The issues I find are the following: When cutting juicy vegetables such as tomatoes, onions, and avocados will leave the cutting board slightly wet and must be dried before starting another project.

The other issue I found was that this cutting board can leave a stain on the surface if it is not immediately washed off. Fruits such as blueberries, cran-berries and blackberries will leave a stain on the cutting board.

So I would advise the user to take steps to prevent any stain if you want the cutting board to remain stain-free. Otherwise, this cutting board is essentially a great product that will endure for a long time.

This is a high quality board for use in Commercial food service. I ordered the 18″ X 24″ X 1/2″board. For my needs at home, I customized the board’s size and shape to fit my kitchen sink and added a tray/strainer.

Mounting the boards over the sink gave me added work-space in an already space-challenged kitchen. The 3 trays came with my wooden cutting board, (also pictured). I customized both boards to fit my domestic sink and cut an opening in the plastic board to accomodate the tray.

The trays were solid, so I drilled one of them for a strainer. This kind of commercial board adapts easily to this kind of modification as it can be worked with simple traditional tools. in my case, a hand saw, drill and sander.

I plan to store these boards via an aluminum “U” channel mounted to the side of the upper cabinets on either sides of my sink for “easy-access” when needed and “out-of -the-way” when not. I’m VERY pleased with the end result! If you are handy, this should be a simple customization, but the Board sold as is, is a great buy.

Cracked within 6 month of purchase , we only used it a couple times a week. It is much more expensive than a similar other board which is fine for years. It is a product defect. I was trying to discuss with store staff, they said wood is not under warranty, no warranty does not mean it is normal breaking in 6 months, and the company is doing nothing to it.

Great size cutting board for the smaller kitchen in my condo. Hefty weight so it won’t slide across the countertop like some thinner plastic boards tend to do. Great value if you’re able to find a deal on it!.

The cutting surface is nice – it doesn’t excessively dull my knives. The channel helps control liquid runoff. I bought the board from Cutlery and More on clearance for roughly the same price. Must be kept very dry – the board has warped on me but is easy enough to correct.

However, it is starting to split after approximately five months of heavy use. I have no doubts that the board would not be splitting if it had stayed drier. It’s size could be larger, but I knew that going into it.
