20 Best Curtains For Dining Room (2023 Updated)

Usually when I want to refresh a room with new window treatments I check out the local thrift store first. Lately the selection has been unusually slim so my next stop is the fabric store. Which is giving me sticker shock.

These curtains don’t just look great, they are also well made. These are very easy to hang, they just slip right on the curtain rod. They are neutral enough to go with my decor, which I change throughout the year.

The black at the bottom adds a little extra pop to make them stand out. The material is thick and seems high quality.

The curtains feel like they will attract a lot of dust and create a lot of static. I prefer thicker materials for my curtains. This lets in light when I want curtains to block out light. The colors are good but once again, the material needs to be improved.

It gets caught easily too.

I wasn’t really sure I’d like these curtains because of the top, but I have to say that I ended up loving them. There are 2 ways to attach them to the rod. you can either slide the rod thru the top pocket opening or thru the pocket opening on the back of the curtains.

I always like items that can be used in multiple ways. I also wasn’t sure the grey color would match the rest of my curtains but am very pleasantly surprised. As they hang, it’s very hard to tell that they’re actually grey because they’re almost whiteish in color.

Again, I think they’ll pick up whatever color you put them with so I actually like that you can’t tell from a distance. They match my other drapes perfectly because of this. They aren’t super sheet but aren’t dark enough to block out all the light.

They’re actually the perfect color and thickness and let in just the right amount of sun. I leave them covering my windows all the time now instead of opening all my curtains because now it’s not too bright or too dark.

I really love these and think that others will, too.

Beautifully made, lightweight, looks like linen. Light gray with white stitching throughout. See through, almost sheer, but not quite. Does not block out all the light. Easy to hang on a round rod. 2 panels included.

I really love these curtains, they are very well made, no strings, or pulls. They hang beautifully and add to my decor. (Just have to keep my kitties away). Really very pretty, a simple way to add to your decor.

This curtain works great for my double doors. It actually fit and matches the rest of my kitchen and living room. It hangs to the perfect length. Everytime Ive bought curtains For my door I’ve had to take them up.

Trim and hem them. So when I got it and didn’t have to I was so happy. It’s very well made and I didn’t think it would black out the light especially in the hot heat off July, but it does. I definitely recommend this brand and specifically the curtains.

The colors khaki with navy blue is good combination, especially for young men and boys room. The quality of the fabric is good and drapes nice. I wanted the lining to be sewn together all around, but it was all sides except the bottom hem.

And I wanted the lining to be a little thicker material. It was not exactly the thickness of fabric, that I wanted for in a bedroom, but for other rooms, it is good to have light go through enough and not sheer.

And when washing in gentle cycle, the contrasting colors did not go on the lighter color. The synthetic fabric made it not wrinkle as much with lesser ironing. It would be better if it had the option of a set of two/pairs and individual.

I would Recommend this Productt, Elrena Athena Rod Pocket Window Curtains. However, I had just missed the last Production of The Gold color. I was looking for Specific Decorations for my new home and I had to Resort to the Ivory and Red.

It has to be Steamed or ironed after opening the package. It is Nothing like the Actual picture. It is Thinner material and the Scarf is not as long as the picture shows, no matter how you hang it. It Appears A stiff Curtain, but it is Silky, so the Ivory is Lovely, but somewhat looks like a Fancy Sheet.

It had to Actually “Grow on me”, before I decided to leave it on window. Depends on what you are looking for.

I really love the look of this curtain. It is extremely elegant and was a great price for what you get! I one issue I had was that I needed to fluff it in the dryer since there were creases in the curtains from the packaging.

While that quick tumble in the dryer got those wrinkles out, it caused the edges to wrinkle up funny, so it looks like I’ll be ironing those out by hand in the near future! With that said, it is a beautiful curtain for a great value!.

Everything is in there. Packaging could have been way better. Considering the cigar box is scratched around it. Giving a scratched cigar box for a gift. Great. Original box had tape to protect it.

I ordered two 12-foot panels and just placed an order for two more 12-foot panels and 2 15-foot panels. I’m so excited to get them all hung up. They totally transform the space!.

I was having the a hardest time finding curtains for the windows in my living room because the ceiling is 20 feet high. I got several quotes from department stores and custom curtain makers but I was going to have to choose between the curtains and my daughter’s college tuition.

I found the curtains on Etsy and Irina sent me free material swatches. The curtains were ready quickly and are perfect! I ordered 3 pairs and they are all perfectly even. They look great and were so affordable and well made.

I finally found a cafe curtain in sage which seems difficult to find. Received, color OK, so I cut the tags out and washed them. There’s a defect running across the fabric on 3 panels, curtains are stiff as a board and very cheaply made.

They’re hanging for now but they look like junk. Don’t waste your money.

These curtains are very inexpensive and it shows in their poor quality. When I hung them I noticed that they were very uneven and looked terrible. I returned them to the store and reordered them in a longer length just to be sure they covered the window.

I took the first pair out to iron and noticed that there is a slit right in the middle of one panel. Then I noticed that these too are uneven. They are also extremely thin and see thru. I would not recommend them.

Great size and fits perfectly. I ordered these and another window valance and that ones to short. Like black ones but nit certain I would order curtains on here again.

This is my second set. I had the others in my room, they went with my skyline theme. Then I cut them for my dorm room. My new room has a long window, so ordered this set. They are good to block light, I put white sheers behind them, they are a good weight.

I like the metallic look to the stars. A fair price as well.

I purchased Z to go with hey curtain Ensemble that I already have in place. I wish I could take a picture to show how beautiful and what a difference these curtains make. I have a double rod so I have a couple shears on the inside and then a significant curtain panel that is thicker and energy efficient.

Then on the outside of both of those panels is where I use these. I use them on the outside portion of the huge picture window. It makes a incredible difference. The Ruffles are just so gorgeous. At first when I looked at this I was interested but thought it looked kind of bland and the and the picture.

I’m and put my own unique spin on it.

These are fabulous! well made and good weight. Not cheap or thin. I love them! I have them in my master bedroom,but they could easily be used in other rooms as well. I have pictures,but apparently are too big to attach to show.

These curtains are gorgeous-the fabric is soft and smooth. Color (ivory) is gorgeous. I bought two pair (and yes, you get a complete pair-2 panels-in each set), and all of the ruffles line up. Excellent quality, esp for the price.

My only “critique” is that I wish they came in a couple more lengths, and I’m guessing there might be others who would like to see more colors. Purchase with confidence. :).

I brought these White Bo Curtain, and I am glad I did. They are so beautiful and the material is absolutely beautiful! I can’t wait to hang these beauty up. I would recommend these curtain because of the beauty and the quailty.

I really loved the colors of the curtains it was beautiful! I wish there was 1 more panel for my french doors. I have 3 windows on my french doors. I liked how sheer the curtains were. I needed some curtains which blocked out too much light.

Can you please send me another panel??? The colors and design of the curtains were bright and cheerful to look at. I enjoyed looking at the flower design. Now I will look for a curtain rod to match the curtains.

The curtains matched my rust colored wide blinds and the length was slightly long. I however felt the curtains were alittle long for my french windows. I might have to hem these curtains to make them shorter.

I LOVE these curtains! I searched high and low for the right pop of color for an unusual, nontraditional space. These are perfect for my at home classroom/playroom. The colors are fun for children, yet classy to complete a mature space.

Just got my sheer “Clara” curtains from Lush Decor and I love them! The curtains are sheer white and edged with the most beautiful floral/paisley-esc designs in shades of turquoise, coral, saffron red, and turmeric yellow.

I bought the whitewash. I was worried they wouldn’t be uniformly colored. They are! They are also uniformly spaced, super thin bamboo strips and turned out much nicer than expected. I’m returning the valance but only because they didn’t fit my windows.

I will use the two tiered set as one panel on top of the other to cover/accomodate my weird skinny window size. I wish the valance had been 2 panels as well but since it was one long one, and I can’t get it to work in any way, I will return those.

drat. I would purchase a few of the other color in a different listing but they have doubled in price this week even though they are still on clearance. I will wait and see if they come down in price again.

I bought this a week ago and wasn’t sure what it would look like exactly Not disappointed at all I ordered the 40 x 84 bamboo for patio window I was so pleased I ordered the 40 x 63 for another window.

I thought the liner would be heavier as it’s described at an insulation liner but it’s perfect to block out the light that shines through the bamboo. Exactly what I was looking for!.

Perfect to block view but sufficient enough to see outside. Definitely considering getting more Bamboo window panels for the rest of the living room. Strong recommendation

This purchase was more about the excellent customer service I received when trying to buy this product. I had bout this item from one Big Lots store but they didn’t have enough so I went to another one and they only had one.

The employee in the store was so helpful in looking this up to see if it was available at another store and showed me how to reserve them so I could go pick them up. The curtain is beautiful and soft and exactly what I was looking for.

I didn’t think when I received they looked like photo. I hung up in dining room and they were absolutely PERFECT. I just wish big lots had better online purchasing of curtains. I had bought all my curtains from them but went on a scavenger hunt driving to 4 stores to get all the ones that I needed.

I just purchased a few pairs of the Eclipse Back Out curtains. I love the design and the color scheme but the description is completely wrong and misleading. There is no way that these should be labeled as BLACKOUT.

I would not even call them room darkenig. Maybe the right description should be light filtering.

FABULOUS. This is the 2nd set I’ve purchased (first were brown). The material is beautiful. The valences are thick and reversible. The tiers are nice and sheer and let the light through BUT give privacy.

I’m sure these will wash well AND last. Excellent buy.

Cute and soft! Was looking for a farmhouse themed valance for my kitchen after buying a house last year. I had been waiting for the perfect ones- and these were perfect! They tied into the decor so well!.

Love these curtains! I decided to add a few new farmhouse touches to my kitchen and these curtains really tied the new look of my kitchen together! You can?t go wrong with buffalo checks and the gray is a wonderful neutral color.

They compliment my stainless steel appliances. I also love that you get all three pieces in one set. The only downside is that they are wrinkly out of the packaging, but a steam tool can fix that.

I had this vision in my head of how I wanted to decorate my room, but I wasn’t sure where to find the perfect items. I looked at a few other stores and always left disappointed, so I decided to check out wayfair because I knew they would have exactly what I was looking for.

And they did not disappoint. I instantly found these curtains and in nearly the exact color I wanted. They are machine washable and east to take care of. A little staticky, but that’s not a major issue.

I love these drapes. I have 5 tall windows in my bedroom and double paned doors that lead out to the porch. I have purchased the above drapes for the windows. The curtains look like light peach which looks great in our bedroom.

Just recently I ordered two light darkening drapes for the doors to the porch but the peach was darker and did not match the other curtains in the bedroom so I returned them. I have always been more than pleased with Soft Surroundings.

I love the candles and other items offered for the home. Everything, clothes, household items, etc. are always beautiful. I love the clothes but I find that many of the blouses are longer than I prefer.

Absolutely gorgeous! I bought the Natural Linen color because I wanted a more rustic look, and they are perfect for my pale aqua bedroom! Yes, they are expensive, but they are dramatic, extremely well made and definitely a show-stopper when it comes to window coverings.

The rounded drapery rod showcases them beautifully, giving them a bit of an old-world French chateau look. Love that you can adjust the ballooning at the bottom by tying the tabs on top lower or higher – they lengthen the look of the window & make an elegant statement.

They are lined as well, so block light to your preference. I am extremely happy with the look, feel and quality of these panels and highly recommend them to anyone considering their purchase.

Pretty curtains. You need to wash first in cold water with Woollite, dry in dryer until just slightly damp, then hang them up and use your hands to smooth out the wrinkles. Works well. The rod pocket is too small for a 3″ wooden designer rod, but you can add a larger rod pocket by sewing a 6″ (hemmed) new rod pocket made out of lining over the existing rod pocket.

This worked just fine for me. Use cream thread and sew right over the existing seams. Take care not to catch the ruffles on other side.
