Best Crumbl Cookie Flavors Ranked (2024 Updated)

I just discovered Catalina Crunch’s products, and I was fortunate to get a few boxes of the old version of these cookies. After finishing those, I’ve now tried the “improved recipe,” and I don’t find it an improvement.

These are about 90% as good as the old ones, but the old version’s cookie had a better crunch and the cream filling had a better flavor. These new ones break a bit more easily. The old ones were impervious to milk, but so are the new ones, so.

why?? Why mess with excellence? Honestly, I wish I hadn’t tried the old version, because if I’d only had these I’d think they were great, but since I can compare, I’m kind of disappointed in these. They are good, certainly.

Just not as good as they used to be.

I bought these at my local WalMart. They are DISGUSTING! Why mess with the delicious original cookie? They were perfect the way they were. These are not hip, cool, or modern. Manufacturers lose sight of the fact that people buy things for the taste that evoke memories…a little treat in the lunchbox, a couple of cookies while chatting with friends about boys, school, etc.

These are so gross! I will no longer buy the brand, nor do I recommend them. I will be buying Pepperidge Farm cookies instead. Hopefully Ferraro will bring back the original cookies. Too bad!.

The new recipe is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. These cookies taste NOTHING like the regular Famous Amos cookies, which seem to now be just about impossible to find. These “new, improved” cookies have a totally different texture and taste; they crumble like sawdust.

HORRIBLE. I even emailed the company and said I wanted my money back; they sent me a $5-off coupon but it’s useless if I can’t find the REGULAR Famous Amos cookies!.

I’ve had these cookies before and they’re very good. I understand though, that Famous Amos has come out with different cookies than this original one, and you can no longer find this original one in the yellow bag.

A friend of mine has been searching everywhere for them, and I found and bought them for her at Sam’s Club. It’s the original cookies at a great price, and she & her husband were thrilled to finally be able to get these again, as they do not like the new flavors and prefer the original ones!!.

I typically don’t enjoy the flavor of a protein cookie but I gave these a try because they were on sale and the reviews were good. Let me tell you, they are amazing! I will buy again at full price! They have that crunchy cookie thing going on and while they do taste a bit “protein cookie” they’re actually pretty darn close to real chips ahoy.

Wish they’d get some more flavors!.

Wrong description of size! It’s 15 oz NOT 24 oz. Other than that, it’s a great cookie. Perfect size, fresh and crunchy. My kids love them too. Target- please properly mark the size. I’m assuming the company made the bags smaller but I thought I was getting 24 oz and the box is only 15 oz.

Love these! They are tasty and fulfill my cookie craving while supplementing my daily nutrition. I struggle a lot with cravings and binge eating, and these have been great for curbing that. They fill me up quickly and I don’t even eat a full serving most of the time.

They are really hard and very crunchy, but would be delicious dipped in almond or oat milk to soften them up a bit. The flavor is great, not too sweet but still enough like a cookie to get rid of cravings.

Very happy with this product and I hope they add more flavors to the line.

These are so delicious. They’re larger than what you might think and typical of shortbread, they can be on the drier side. The slight orange flavor is perfect and dipped in coffee or milk, they are heaven.

I cannot buy these often because I love them too much! I can’t stay away!.

Every hispanic has had these in their household, lol! These are so delicious though, they have the slightest bit of orange flavor to them so they are not super sweet. they are sprinkled with sugar on top.

Really good with coffee and milk. classic staple for me.

These cookies are sooo good!!! I got them for quarantine they are nice!! they are so soft to bite can feel such great flavor almost like orangey, it comes with 8 packs each pack has 4 cookies. enough for a little snack!!!.

So I picked these up because I wanted something I could eat on my drive to work that would hold me until lunch time. I got the Chocolate Chip Cookies, Peanut Butter Cookies, and the Snickerdoodle cookies.

My favorite was immediately the Snickerdoodles. I can’t describe why that is, it just matched what I wanted the most. So I bought another 12 pack of the Snickerdoodle, and they were noticeably different.

They had so much more of the cinnamon and sugar coating. Loved it. They also weren’t as soft, I didn’t enjoy that. I ended up buying a third box. This one was just trash. The texture was wrong. They weren’t firm, but they weren’t soft, and the way they looked on the inside just didn’t look right to me.

I had a similar issue with the chocolate chip ones. The first box smelled very strongly of chemicals, almost like gasoline, but the second one was fine. It was just weird, you don’t know what quality you will get when you order these.

This cookie is bland and barely has any pumpkin in it anymore. There’s a much more artificial taste, and the texture/appearance looks more processed than ever. Lenny & Larry’s Complete Cookies (especially pumpkin and birthday cake) used to be my favorite, but for the past few years they’ve changed all of their recipes.

The pumpkin is barely edible anymore. The chocolate chip is inedible. The snickerdoodle is the only decent one left, only because of the cinnamon sugar coating. Since formula change after questions of protein content and if they were truly vegan things started going downhill.

And then it seemed to happen again when they started playing around and offering different varieties of cookies. Buy only if you’re really not a picky person.

I feel like everyone who has first started their fitness journey runs into these cookies. They have great advertisement because they are at every gym. I personally don’t think they are that tasty and a big chalky.

I also think a big misconception that a lot of people have who are getting into fitness is that it’s “healthy” or will help you “lose weight” when in reality it has a lot of calories. It’s misleading.

Yes it has a good amount of protein but you can get that somewhere else for far less calories. If you’re bulking and want some quick cals and you don’t mind the taste then this is perfect for you. It’s just not my cup of tea.

I found these at Costco. These are the best little cookies if you like coconut. These cookies have a light, crunchy, delicious taste of shredded coconut but not to the point that you tire of the taste quickly.

There are a lot of crumbs in the bag of cookies though. The package recommends that you save them to top on your ice cream, but I like to eat with milk. These cookies are my new best friendğŸ˜.

I know I ordered these cookies. I mindlessly ordered Coconut cookies. I hope you can imagine my surprise when 4 ounces of these thin cookies showed up on my order and I actually looked at the cost. ALMOST TWELVE DOLLARS!!!.

I love that you offer the larger 16oz size. It makes me feel less guilty about all of that plastic waste when the bags are large and actually full of product. Buying the 4 oz bags always made me feel so guilty, that I hardly ever bought them.

And I couldn’t find the large size at Target or Amazon. Really glad I purchased here. I love them! Delicious and extra crunchy with plant based protein, what more could I ask for?.

These are REALLY good cookies! They satisfy the crunch factor as well as a little bit of chocolate. A great choice for those who are paying attention to calories, fat and protein. A little pricey, but I make them last by eating just a couple at a time.

I definitely recommend giving them a try!.

These are great! I must admit I’m lukewarm to the original Oreo sandwich as I’ve always preferred the “vanilla” cookie flavor. Tried these the other day and was wowed! The cookie blends the perfect balance of sweetness, crispness, and textures to provide a satisfying snack.

I had a previous favorite vanilla snack cookie that has now been replaced by the Oreo “Golden. ” These cookies usually are slightly more expensive than the cookie they replaced, but for a few extra pennies the step up in quality is really worth it.

I usually like to be positive when I write reviews but this time the best I can be is positively honest. After calculating in the cost of shipping this product they are not much less than the cost of running out to my local store and purchasing several containers of regular Oreos.

Nabisco should also consider renaming this product “broken cookies” or just “pieces” and remove the term “crumbs” from the name because the pieces are large chunks of cookie that still have to be broken up if you wanting to garnish anything with them.

They are Oreo, they taste great, and are fresh, I just don’t see a value added to my kitchen by reordering this item. I am sorry but that is my assessment.

I love the size of these cookies. They are so cute! This is my first time buying this size, but I’m sure I will again. It’s a different size compared to the regular ones, but I like it. They are certainly not healthy, but they are a tasty snack.

They are the perfect size to add onto a hot fudge sundae as a dessert. I believe it tastes better on the ice cream because the frosting is a bit sweet to me alone. However, that’s just my opinion. I would recommend Oreos to anyone for a dessert!.

Yummy! Prior to pregnancy I never craved sweet things but once I got pregnant that quickly changed. Here I am 3 months postpartum and still craving sweets daily! The problem is I also want to get rid of the baby weight.

I spotted the cake batter cookies at a friends house and mentioned they looked good later on to my husband. While grocery shopping last night I found them for $2. I read the bag and was skeptical because I do typically prefer a soft cookie.

One bite and wow! These are SO good. I love dipping them in my coffee. I plan on keeping a bag on my desk at work for a little pick me up through the day 🙂 I also liked that a serving is five cookies!.

Wow. That is the world that came out of my mind when I saw these. I remember munching on Dunkaroos when I was little kid. So when we saw these in store and grabbed a box. It was like my childhood all over again! Now, eating them was a whole other story.

They look exactly the same as when we were little. However, they contain so much sugar it was almost unbearable. Basically you’re just eating a tiny cookie with a heaping mountain of frosting on it. I now remember why I liked them so much when I was a kid.

I probably won’t buy these again because they are way to sugary for me now but they were great when I was little and I’m sure any child now will love to eat them. Definitely more for the younger kids now.

I did appreciate that they only came in a 6 count. So now I’m not stuck with a million containers of straight sugar. Overall, a fun product and I’m glad to see them back. Kids are going to love them.

I was so happy to see these in the store. I used to love them when I was younger but they’re not the same. The cookies are way thinner than they used to be and the cookie crumbles when you try to scoop up the frosting.

The cookie taste like cardboard by itself but the frosting still taste good. A little too sweet for me now but I buy them for my son. He loves them.

First, it tastes exactly how I remembered. That was fun and at 39 years old, that was a treat. Definitely too sweet to be getting on a regular basis. I probably won’t buy them again. They’re overpriced for what they are.

My Prince has food allergic to eggs, nuts, and shellfish. He loved Chips Ahoy Chewy Cookies. I also have a Neice who has food allergies that include milk. However, when I learned it contained soy, I stopped buying them.

It displeases me to see my son watch his siblings, family, friends, and classmates eat dessert staples while he cannot. I used to type Non-GMO, nut-free, and egg-free treats in the search field and came up empty.

Also, it’s confusing to shop for something simple for your child when most brands advertise one thing and include the very thing you don’t want in their ingredients disguised with scientific synonyms you can’t pronounce.

And to my dismay, nothing in transparent plain English appeared. Today, I typed ‘vegan cookies’ to see what, if anything, would show. To my surprise, Enjoy Life and others appeared. I was happy to see egg-free, nut-free, shellfish-free, soy-free, and others.

I was relieved and took a chance and ordered a box because it was a soft, chewy cookie. My son tried one and two, then ten. (Smiling. ) I put the rest in a ziplock bag and placed them in the fridge to stay fresh.

I’m happy to convey this brand is and will continue to have my business.

I absolutely adore these cookies! Their so so so so good! I’m amazed every time I take a bite because how can this be so good when it’s gluten and dairy free?! They’ve completely ruined me for all other gluten free/dairy free sweets.

If I could I’d eat these and these only. As someone with a severe lactose intolerance, gluten intolerance, and egg intolerance these cookies are an absolute god send. I’ve never once gotten sick from eating them.

I cried the first time I ate them because I thought I’d never be able to eat a yummy and soft baked good again because of my intolerances. I’m so glad I found them. My only complaints are that their pretty expensive.

Which sucks because money is tight. I wish they were cheaper. And that their never in stock at my local Walmart. I always have to order them online to be delivered and wait for them to arrive. I’m constantly recommending this to my friends who have gluten and dairy intolerances.

These cookies, if made properly, are delicious. They are the right amount of gooey on the inside and crispy crunchy on the outside. I prefer to just make cookies and not do anything different. Once cooled put them in a baggie or sealed somewhere and they will continue to be delicious.

I made these for a friend who got out of the hospital. I had to keep a few for myself. They were sooo good! They stayed soft and chewy for as long as they lasted. They were super easy to make and I recommend putting on rubber gloves and smushing the mix and butter with your hands.

The cinnamon/sugar topping was perfect. I would absolutely make these again. And I’d keep them all for myself!.

I bought these at the store as a markdown item. I noprmally don’t buy box cookie mixes. The. 99 cent price spoke to my bargain side and I bought 6 boxes. I thought, “ok for that price give them a try”.

I baked these for Christmas and they were a Huge hit. These cookies were wonderful to eat and easy to make. They have a very nice flavor and bake up soft and crunchy as they cool. If you like soft cookies just stick them in the miocrowave for 10 seconds.

Bought these while on vacation. Great taste and texture, even after they’ve completely cooled. However, as someone who bakes regularly and has my own GF chocolate chip cookie recipe. These seem to have a funny flavor in the background.

Almost chemical like. Not sure what would be causing that. I would still buy these in the future when I’m not able to make my own from scratch.

I bought these because the cookie mix I usually get was out of stock AND I thought I might need gluten free foods. As I always do, I added more chocolate chips, but other than that, I followed the directions.

The cookies tasted fine, but they are VERY hard, and I was afraid that they would break my teeth! They also left an after taste that was very distasteful. The are amazing! So simple to make and only a few needed ingredients (water, butter, and an egg!). They only take 15 mins to make in the oven and taste so good. As you can see, the dough makes a perfect size cookie! I pay $3.

I have made recipes with Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough for over five decades for my family including chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake bars. Why would you change a legend? If people want to eat raw cookie dough then sell this new recipe to them but please bring back the original recipe for your loyal customers who have kept you in business from the very first Pillsbury Dough Boy commercial.

The Pillsbury Dough Boy would fall flat on his adorable tummy on this one and lose his hat. Another American icon hits the dust. Whoever made this decision must be from a younger generation and doesn’t have a clue about the longevity of decades and decades of Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie lovers history.

Someone needs to tell them that if it isn’t broke then don’t try to fix it. Nestle here I come!.

We buy these at Walmart because of their low prices. We also specifically buy this brand because it doesn’t contain nuts, which one of our kids is allergic to. They taste absolutely delicious and are easy to make! I love to make these cookies for my students around Christmas time and they gobble them up! My 4th grader made these cookies and sold them at school during book exchange week and he had a waiting line for them! Bottom line: our family loves these cookies and won’t buy anything else! I just wish they came in the big tubs all year round instead of just at thanksgiving and Christmas.

No eggs, heated flour recipe change makes for a bland artifical taste and appearance. The cookies top is like a puffed cake or muffin top in the oven, then sink a bit but still look like fake cookies.

You don’t get the same texture and mouth feel, there’s some odd slight crispness but not the crunchy, chewy mouth feel of a real cook. The taste doesn’t have that sparkle, it tastes artifical. You eat one bite and it’s so underwhelming, unpleasant and disappointing.

But on the other hand, throwing out the entire batch of ywo dozen cookies in the trash cuz I can’t eat another bite saved me a lot of calories. Leaving a bad taste in my mouth, this definitely deters me from buying pillsbury again and even eating cookies at all.

If you have tastebuds that function, I cannot recommend these cookies. Now, I’m going to go brush my teeth to get this out of my mouth. I might need a mint.

FAvorite Day makes a very delicious butter cookie! Great with noon tea at garden parties “OR” just snacking with milk! My children love the size of the cookies because they are allowed to have MORE of them! With super large cookies they are limited to no more than two.

These little darlings allow them to indulge 4-5 for a mid-day snack! SUGGEST: Crush the cookies up and use for a CRUST for lemon bars, cream pies, sprinkle on ice cream, puddings, and cakes. or some of your FAVORITE desserts.

ADD finely chopped “toasted” nuts (pecans. walnuts or macadamia) to the crushed Favorite Day Butter Cookies, top off your favorite ICE CREAM SUNDAES! Yummy Goodness :-D.

I purchase these because it’s rare to find cookies without high fructose corn syrup and natural flavor (which is anything but). I don’t know how anyone could say they don’t taste the butter in these cookies.

These petite cookies are a little bite of heaven! I love shortbread and these are outstanding. Buttery, crumbly and you can taste the little bits of salt – so yummy! The packaging is nice. I just wish there were more cookies per bag.

Yes! Nestle cookies and creamy vanilla ice cream. It’s the perfect combination. We love to treat ourselves to one of these every now and again. I like the fact that the cookie is so soft and almost has a homemade taste to it.

Ice cream cookie sandwiches are amazing. But, Nestle is an extremely unethical company and I would recommend everyone with morals stop using their products as much as possible. They believe that child and slave labor is necessary for the chocolate industry while smaller companies are committed to not using such horrors.

Nestle also bottles up water from Flint, Michigan (yes the place with the water shortage that’s been going on for YEARS) and ship it elsewhere, saying that water isn’t a right, it’s a privilege (that can and will be taken away).

You can look this up with a simple google search.

I don’t get these very often because of how many calories they are but they are pretty tasty. Just not worth the calories for me on a regular basis. I prefer to just get the regular vanilla drumsticks.
