Best Complications For Apple Watch (2024 Updated)

Do you want a device where you can track your steps, calories, your heart rate and even notifications like text, calls, emails and even contact emergency services with a click of a button making it better for the individual that is in danger.

Then maybe the Apple Watch SE is for you. I originally received the Apple Watch SE for christmas of 2021 and have worn the watch pretty much everyday since. And I will say it is really helpful and convenient to use during my day.

Such as counting my steps and tracking my heart rate during the day and receiving my notifications without the need to pull out my phone to view those notifications. Some things to know before purchasing this product is that you will need an iphone to set up the watch.

Because you do need cellular data to use the watch during your day. And the battery life usually lasts a day at max and will have to charge the device every night pretty much. One specific reason I really like this product is how simple it is to access the contents of this watch.

All you have to do is press the button on the side of the watch and type in your passcode (if set) to access the menus of the watch. I would personally recommend this product to people who are exclusively apple users to purchase.

To track your fitness and your heart rate and pretty much anything your iphone can do but it makes it simpler to access that content because of it being on your wrist either then having to get your phone out of your pocket or bag.

One critique I do have for this watch is that you can only use this watch with an iphone 6 or above and need to have ios 15 or sooner. I don’t personally use or have ever used an android device but i do think it would be alot more better for the Apple Watch to work with an android phone because it would 1 bring more sales towards apple on there part and 2 it is a lot better quality material to use and can (depends on the site you purchase it on) can be cheaper then the latest “Samsung Galaxy Watch”.

In Conclusion i love this watch. And recommend you to buy it because. The Apple Watch SE is alot smaller than the main apple watch and is cheaper in price as well. And I will continue to wear it every day from now on and use the watch as well.

and will also continue to buy the newest ones as they come out and will continue to support Apple and their company and their various products.

The watch – Got this as a present for my aging mom, who lives with my sister. The main thought was giving her the ability to make a call if away from her iPhone, especially in an emergency, like while sis is at work or otherwise out of the house.

All of the other bells and whistles of a smartwatch were gravy. Beats having a monthly subscription for a monitoring service and it offers so many other functions. Turns out she loves it, not just for the phone call access, but how it is automatically synching her fitness data to her phone.

She is very active for late 80s and this helps her track all of her activity. This is stimulating her with lots of new learning as well, while still being easy to adopt and master. A good fit. Once she had it up and running we talked and she sounded as clear as on any phone and said she could hear me clearly, so that was as good or better than was anticipated.

She said it is quite comfortable. Having Siri on her wrist when she wants it is nice, too. FYI – It comes with the charging cable but not the associated wall wart – there is no way to charge it without having an Apple USB-C wall wart.

It was good her iPhone had the USB-C wall wart. Make sure you have one or be prepared to buy one. Best Buy performance – Best Buy would not match the big A “Prime Day” pricing, but we did get a Best Buy sale price, so still a good value.

The shipping took a couple of days longer than what Best Buy told us at the beginning and that seemed to be in part due to it taking longer for Best Buy to get it to the USPS. Once it actually shipped, it came quickly, only a couple of business days later than advertised.

Still happy with Best Buy overall.

I was looking for a watch to track my fitness activities and after looking at so many watches I went for the SE 44mm. The size is perfect for my wrist, looks and feels great. I went for the cellular one so I could take calls with out my phone, little did I know this was an additional chargeable services with ee.

The only annoying thing for me is when you link it to your phone and sync all the apps, notifications for every app start popping through. This drains the battery. I found that you had to manually turn off each apps notifications as and when they come through by swiping and hitting the three dots.

Like all apple products it is easy to use, works seamlessly with other apple products. For me the SE was the best option as some of the extras with the other options were pointless for what I wanted.

This is a great tool to motivate you with your fitness goals. Having the watch has pushed me and helped me do more. I was already very active and with the watch I feel I am far more motivated, with the ease of seeing your results and goals at a turn of your wrist.

One thing that really disappoints me is that apple have not provided an offline map, for people like me who like to be in the outdoors and sometimes not signal zones something like a offline map is essential.

You can purchase an app to do this however I thought this was weak of apple.

Replaced my Series 4 with the Series 7 and although the differences aren’t monumental, they do make the experience a different and better one. The larger, always on display is a feature I never knew I needed until I experienced it on the Series 7.

Surprisingly, being able to glance at the screen no matter where your wrist is positioned is arguably less distracting than having to raise your wrist or tap to wake. The screen size makes everything incredibly easy to read, and the full QWERTY swipe keyboard makes it a breeze to reply without dictation (especially useful when you are in public).

The screen is bright and clear and easy to see in all lighting conditions, whether indoors or out, full sun or a cloudy day. One of my favorite features that actually is useful in the updated Series 7 is the flashlight feature.

I use it frequently to move around in the dark to get ready in the morning easily while my partner sleeps. The screen is super bright, but also directional enough that the flashlight does not wake him.

The improved battery life and the fast charging makes it possible to track the majority of your day, including your sleep. Throwing this on the charger first thing when I wake up gives me a full charge for the day ahead in the time it takes for me to complete my morning routine.

Haptic feedback and the updated tones for alerts and other functions are very nice. Also, I just find it pretty geeky-cool that you can take a blood oxygen reading with this thing. All in all, I could have stuck with my Series 4 for a few more years with no problems…but now that I’ve experienced the Series 7, I know for sure I wouldn’t want to.

One thing to note, the green aluminum is very dark in color and almost appears as a space grey with a slight green tint. The clover Sport Band that came with the watch was not my favorite, and I replaced it immediately with the cargo khaki Nike Sport Loop.

Much better combo. Anyway, Apple nailed it again.

I waited quite a long time before breaking down and buying a smart watch. As I am an iPhone owner, the Apple Watch was the logical choice. However, it initially didn’t meet my needs. I am not sports or exercise enthusiast so most off what a smart watch provides didn’t interest me.

I am also an traditional analog watch fan and tend to stay away from modern style watches. What finally tipped the scale for me was the pandemic. I needed a way to stay informed about not only my health vitals but also email and messages without always being tied to my phone or pc.

The fact that I could listen and control my music and phone calls from my watch were extra bonuses. The new Series 7 Apple Watch seems to finally provide enough non-sports/exercise features to make sense to me.

The apps still need more evolution to really be beneficial on a wrist device but it is getting better. I am still learning how to effectively use the Apple Watch and I am sure time and updates will only make it better.

The Series 7 seems to have enough hardware features to take it further. However I am not a fan of buying a new device every year or two, so I am still worried that it might be too soon for the regular population that isn’t always in the gym or running on the track.

However I do feel more comfortable knowing that I have some basic health monitors on my wrist and a better communication system than being tethered to my phone 7×24. I can’t answer battery or lifetime issues yet because I have only owned it for just over a week.

I will say that my iPhone’s battery lasts longer than the watches but perhaps I can make settings changes to improve that. I still see a day’s battery so I can’t complain. My recommendation is that if you are looking for a smart watch, check out how many apps and features you will really use and if they are full featured enough yo justify the purchase and investment.

I got this for my father as a gift and wow, hands out the best version of the Apple Watch. This quickly became another alternative for when he’s not able to look at his phone when at work with features such as imessage and call feature available.

You can also transfer the call from the watch to the phone and vice versa, which is so convenient! The watch came with two belt sizes, which have enough space for small for wide wrists. They’re soft silicone and do not come undone, even when working in a busy restaurant.

The starter belts are great for people with sensitive skin as well. The screen is tough and durable, it doesn’t leave a fingerprint on the screen as intensely as prior versions, allowing you to have a clear screen.

Battery charges super fast, and can last over 8 hours without charge. It is frustrating that it only comes with the cable and not the box. Given that the charger box is $20, spending over $400 on a watch you would at least expect the charger box as well.

The health and fitness features were features that stood out to him, as that’s what peaked his interest in the first place. The heart monitor features have become an essential feature that has helped him learn more about his own health.

The fitness features such as step and walking tracker have motivated him to maintain those levels, as that was something he prioritized. Overall, this version of the Apple Watch is jam packed with new features that allow the watch to feel customizable and as convenient as the iPhone.

This is a great gift for that is easy for people who aren’t as technologically savvy, and is easy to learn, whether young or old.

I upgraded my 41mm to Ultra and there’s no looking back! It’s awesome, I won’t go into its features’ details since you can read/watch it all online, yes, it’s that good. Pairing with the iPhone was super easy and super fast, And if you’re familiar with Apple Watches, then you know they are very reliable (at least for me, my old Apple watches never failed on me).

For those worrying about the Ultra’s 49mm being too large on your small wrist, just don’t worry. If you’re used to small watches then of course at first you might think it’s too big. BUT, once you have the Ultra on for a couple of days, you’ll start to think your old Apple watches were too small.

It’s only a personal optical perspective. Make sure to order the band size that’s within your wrist size (well I guess you got no choice yet if you’re ordering the Ocean band), but the small Alpine Loop is perfect for my 15.

5 cm wrist, yes I’m a girl. It is comfortable (you can even get the 45mm bands to fit it depending on your mood or activity). You don’t have to be an extreme sports athlete or professional adventurer to get the Ultra, that would be only an excuse to convince yourself not to get it.

Unless one is a professional adventurer, who else goes to the extreme terrains every single day to perform sports and extreme tasks? Even if one is, what about the rest of the days of the year? As for me, I wear my watch every single day.

I’m an average user, normal active, who currently can use all the Ultra new features except for diving. But who knows, maybe I could take on a scuba course in a near future, and maybe one day I could dive next to a whale shark ;).

When Apple announced this watch I thought it was overkill, and maybe a bit strange looking. That was likely due to Apple’s insistence on showing extreme conditions that this supposedly could be used in.

But in person, I was sold. The top edge surrounding the glass is a nice look, so are the other elements like the speaker holes and ‘action’ button’s contrast. The screen feels bigger, because it is, and the titanium is a nice change of color and a durable, premium looking material.

It has a very much natural gunmetal vibe. It’s chunky and I love it. I hear the alpine bands can get dirty looking, so if considering one, go for this green color, it’s a nice muted forest/camo green that fits the metal color nicely.

I will say though, that if you have thin, or small wrists, this thing will likely overpower you in terms of proportions, falling to one side or another, so my recommendation remains that it’s great for those who will be choosing the L band size in general, and likely not anyone looking at that S size.

One last thing, unboxing this thing was very pleasant and outdoorsy-aspirational, this feels like the premium SUV of apple watches, and would pair nicely with a Rivian or Bronco. ;).

Apple is pushing the idea the Ultra is the ultimate watch for extreme sports. That’s pure marketing. Most of what the Ultra does the regular aluminum Apple Watch does too for hundreds less. What Ultra can do better is dive further – but doesn’t beat other brands that focus on diving.

It has a siren, which could be a lifesaver in a parking lot but I doubt it will do any good where more bears than humans roam. It has 2x better battery life, which is still 3x worse than a Garmin fenix 7.

It’s also not compatible with ANT sensors, something bikers, especially, rely on. I can’t say it’s worth $800 based on features but if you normally buy a premium stainless steel or titanium cased Apple Watch the Ultra is a fair price.

The case is bolder and the flat screen easier to read than the curved screen Apple Watches. If you are looking for Garmin type sports training data then stick with Garmin for now.

I’ve had my Apple Watch since May 2020. I had always wanted one, so I was excited to finally make the purchase. I have the gold watch and pink band combo. I love the color of the band, however darker dyed fabrics often leave staining on the silicon band.

I wish there was a way to avoid this. Unfortunately after all these years, I have not been able to get these stains out. I think that the battery on these watches could be better. I have to constantly keep mine on the charger while getting ready for my day so that my watch doesn’t died before the end of my work day.

I would upgrade as I’ve heard better things about the newer watches, however, I have always bought so many bands for a 40mm watch that they don’t make anymore as the newer watches have slightly larger faces.

Pros: I’m a big fan of having a smart watch and feel that the Apple Watch is the best solution / option for iPhone owners. I also feel that you really need a sapphire crystal screen. That means you have to choose one of the stainless steel options.

With that in mind, the series 5 is a great trade off for cost vs specs. You can still find new old stock and they have the bigger always on screen. Cons: Options for a good normal leather band are limited.

Apple don’t really offer one and buying one from a 3rd party are hit and miss. Otherwise I don’t really have any negatives.

The main reason I finally convinced myself to purchase this watch is “fall detection”. I’ve been having too many falls lately and live alone. I was going to buy one of those medical alert bracelets but there’s a monthly charge forever.

I figure after the 24-month interest free payments it’s mine whereas I’d still be paying on a medical alert bracelet that only has one function. There are just too many functions to itemize in this review.

The standard band that came with it accommodates a s/m or m/l wrist. I was disappointed the two extra band were in a one size fits all which are tight on me. I’m not buying Apple’s $50 bands (min. price) but found a company at 1/2 the price with an exceptional quality.

I bought a week ago and it’s exactly what I was expecting. I’m someone who checks reviews so I can manage my expectations. For me it’s far from being usable as smartwatch because battery last 1 day (if lucky and do not have too many notifications, interactions or workouts).

But. I must also say that I do not think a watch is for having long whatsapp conversations (telegram or whatever). It’s for a quick reply without taking your phone or for getting a quick notification.

I do not think is for playing games on it. don’t know. maybe I’m a weird user but, again, for me is just a notification and quick replies device and for some workouts (don’t go out 9h with GPS enabled because is not the whole point of this smartwatch).

In general is for casual sporty people that like technologies, that have iPhone. If you want a most sports watch. go for a suunto, polar or garmin. If you’re lazy and want “something easy that works and looks good”, then apple watch is what you’re looking for.

By the way, I installed watchos 7 beta 1 and the improvements, even when they are Apple style (not many changes) is worth to try (remember that if you want to roll back to previous version you need to bring it to Apple so.

be careful and ensure that you want to risk yourself).

Pros: Love the design and how easy it is to use. Also love the existing features. Cons: I’m surprised there is no sleep feature on the device, when other much cheaper products monitor this. Not the end of the world for me though! I was disappointed to find 2 surface scratches within the first week of owning it; and possibly the worst aspect is that my mobile provider (Virgin) doesn’t support Apple watches! So the cellular option was a waste of time – and my only reason for upgrading from a Fitbit.

I think all retailers should include a clear list of the mobile providers who don’t currently support Apple Watch.

Pros: Very helpful for both exercise and day-to-day activities, such as helping wake me up. Siri is surprisingly helpful on the Watch. Good value for money compared to other watches. The included strap is underrated.

Cons: The watch’s backplate is branded Nike, not just the band (which can be replaced). Not a drawback for me, but it might be for someone.

I loved my Apple Watch but I stopped wearing one specifically because I didn’t like how it looked and I preferred the style of traditional watch. So needless to say when I saw an ad for Golden Concept, I was instantly intrigued.

After seeing the price however, I bounced immediately thinking there was no way these were worth that kind of money. However, I got hit with a few more ads that were videos where I could see the quality much better than what was on the site and ultimately decided to see for myself what the quality was like.

To my amazement, I was blown away by every aspect of my purchase. I received my order in less than 3 days, and the box that it came in looked and felt nicer than my Rolex boxes. The presentation was seriously phenomenal and you could tell no expense was spared.

They even provide you with some spare screws and a spare rubber protector piece. The product itself feels very sturdy, and I actually think it looks better in person than what you see in the product photography on the website.

The rose gold and the black face has a nice vertical brushed satin finish. The screws are rose gold too which I find really make Golden Concept’s products appear more aesthetically pleasing than some of their competitors.

The rubber watch band feels very sturdy as well, and having worked out in this watch about a dozen times, I can say it’s surprisingly comfortable in the gym. All-in-all and despite my initial skepticism, I can say for certain that I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this product to anyone who’s looking to stylize their apple watch while still maintaining the comfort and versatility of the Apple sport rubber band.

I wanted one of these for a long time and honestly I thought it could be fake because it seemed to good to be true that this company could make such a fine piece for the Apple Watch. I just received my case and I am blown away by the craftsmanship and machining.

The quality is way beyond my expectation. An the fit for everything is flawless. I wanted a hublot classic fusion but wanted the functionality of my Apple Watch. This is the COMPLETE answer, 5 stars and nothing less.

I have purchased this iWatch casing and leather strap to “Elevate” my first iWatch experience as I don’t believe Apple does a good job in the offerings of their accessories. Golden Concept is widely known on most social media for a few years now and I have finally decided to move on it.

The craftsmanship is extraordinary and the design is unique but matching perfectly with the iWatch! The only small detail to “Fault” if any. is that the clasp/bucklet part, if you use your finger or thumb to move through the surface of the buckle, you can feel it is NOT 100% smooth stainless steel as would an original Swiss made high end watch.

It is a little bit sharp to my liking and I’d rather have a little smooth edges around those stainless steel areas. But I will still give it a 99% almost perfect score! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you want to have a different experience with your iWatch!.

I came to the Apple Watch from a Samsung Gear S3. While the Apple Watch does most things pretty admirably, offering fairly seamless transitions between screens and apps, it doesn’t do some of the things that the Gear S3 could do.

For instance, it took downloading a second app to be able to see the number of steps on the watch face instead of just the three ‘activity’ rings that don’t actually tell you as much as you might want to know — and it still doesn’t give a live update on steps, catching up and refreshing every few minutes to give an updated number.

Additionally, the battery life is significantly shorter, lasting about twenty four hours before it needs to be charged again. However, the display is large and clear, and the watch faces are extremely customizable, allowing you to really get the look and experience that you want out of them.

Additionally, the watch bands are as easy to switch as sliding them in and out of a groove, as compared to the more traditional watch bands that require you to buy a special tool to change them out — possibly a pro for some, a con for others, given that you’re essentially required to buy Apple-tech specific watch bands.

All in all, it does most of the things I need it to do, and it does them elegantly and with little fuss, but I still miss some of the features of the Galaxy. For something as expensive as the Apple Watch, you’d think this would be standard by now, but alas.

Still, I would recommend it to others, but am disappointed enough that it’s going to miss out on that fifth star — for now.

Having replaced my Galaxy Watch (2018) with this model, I can say that I’m extremely happy. I decided on this purchase primarily due to the ECG and blood pressure feature due to some ongoing health concerns.

Special thanks to Harvey Norman Launceston for enabling me to purchase this 10 days ahead of us official release when I just went in to see if it might suit my need and instead ended up walking out the door with it.

I was very concerned about battery life initially with the switch to Gear OS from Tizen but after 10 days use so far, am happy to report that I get 3 days use on average with a little left over to spare.

Not as good as the 5 days between charges on my earlier watch (when new), but pretty decent none the less considering that multiple ECG and blood pressure readings were taken throughout as well as constant heart rate monitoring.

The watch is a delight to use, integrates and functions faultlessly with my S22 Ultra and delivers clear, easily read and responded to notifications. Operation is smooth and buttery without a hint of lag or hesitation and the new style band is a nifty, secure, comfortable and easily set design.

The new watch band material (rather than that of my earlier watch) does not seem to react with my arm and leave a welt which is also a positive. The display is bright, easily read, has a great resolution and as is typical of Samsung devices in my experience; second to none.

One thing I do miss over my original watch though, is the rotating bezel. I’m afraid that the choice to move away from this is a design miss on Samsung’s part. The capacitive, digital alternative of running a finger around the periphery of the screen isn’t as remotely intuitive, functional, effective, refined or easy to use as you end up touching other elements of the screen in the process.

I’m not sure of the logic in removing what was a signature component of this series of watches, one that made usage a breeze and one that galaxy watch owners in this format of watch had come to love.

The new method on this watch is not nearly as precise and no use with gloves or wet hands. Sorry Samsung; but a significant design miss. That said, the watch is still a delight to use, as you can just swipe as you would on a phone to get to/from where you need to go.

Updating, app choices and integration are better overall than the Tizen watch was, though watch faces are a little sparse at present compared to Tizen. Overall, a fantastic piece of kit and I am extremely happy with my purchase.

The black version looks a little “cheap” to my eye for a wearable such as this and at this price point (particularly without the bezel), but that’s subjective and others will see it differently. I don’t use the running, etc features and so can’t comment on those.

But nice job Samsung (deletion of bezel excepted) If you are after a classy looking, fully functional smart watch and fitness tracker, aren’t an invested member of that fruit named company and need something to help keep track of your ticker, this watch may just be for you.

ECG reports are easily exported printed in A4, or even emailed to your doctor straight from your phone in a heart beat. ECG and Blood Pressure does require Samsung Health installed I believe (no issue if you’re a Samsung user) and the integration between the watch and phone is impressive, straight forward and completely intuitive.

Very happy with my purchase.

A little background. I’ve had smartwatches, many with LTE, since they first arrived years ago. The Galaxy Watch was my favorite go-to watch from the beginning, and I always upgraded as new models were released.

My annoyance flared when advertised capabilities were either missing or poorly implemented. In some cases, promised features never came to fruition, while other times they showed up but more than a year later.

Because of this, a few years ago I decided to move to a Fossil Watch with LTE. One of the biggest draws for me was Fossil’s integration with Google Assistant. As someone heavily invested in the Google ecosystem, this one specific feature was a game changer for me.

Even though I still like the Fossil, I decided to reverse course and give Samsung’s new Galaxy Watch 5 Pro a chance. At this writing, I am now using the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro Black LTE version. This is a top-notch flagship model that offers a ton of nice features, many in the health and fitness arena, and keeping in mind that my last Galaxy Watch was a model 3.

In my opinion, this watch is aesthetically much nicer looking than previous versions of the Galaxy watch; it has a premium look and feel about it. As expected, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is also noticeably more expensive than the standard version, and by a wide margin.

A big draw for me moving to the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is its 80-hour battery. While I haven’t had this watch very long, thus far the battery has been pretty good. I gave it a full charge last night ending at 10:30pm, then kept it on my wrist throughout the night in bedtime(?) mode.

I got out of bed around 6:30am and turned bedtime mode off. Overnight, the battery had dropped from 100% to 87%. Even though it wasn’t connected to my phone during that time period, it was connected to cellular.

I used the watch throughout the day, including four 2-mile walks (which the watch considers exercise periods). I used the timer a bunch and checked the weather a good number of times. And don’t forget Google Assistant.

At about 9pm that evening, remaining battery was 49%. Now, the watch face does support a good number of Complications, so I have to imagine that that impacts battery over time. There is something about the Watch 5 Pro’s watch band that I find very comfortable.

It doesn’t pinch my wrist or grab my arm hair. And the band’s design makes it very easy to make minor size adjustments, unlike more traditional bands. On the downside, the band’s clasp which sits in the center of my wrist, started losing color immediately.

There were scratch marks all over it, so much so that the underlying material was clearly visible. Fortunately, a black sharpie came to the rescue. I am pleased to say that the thickness of the watch turned out to be a non-issue.

It doesn’t feel heavy to me, although I’m guessing that the light-weight titanium material is why. So, kudos to Samsung on a good choice of materials. Setting up the watch couldn’t have been easier – it was completed in just 40 minutes.

This was followed by setting up the LTE portion. I was initially concerned that having my Fossil LTE already configured with my cellular provider would be a problem, but it only turned out to be a minor bump.

I did have to rerun the LTE portion three times to remove the Fossil, but it eventually was removed from my phone company’s database and replaced with the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. Easy-peasy! This recessed placement is pretty shrewd. With as many times as I’ve accidently scratched/banged my watch going through a doorway, being recessed should protect the watch face from, well, me. In the beginning of this review, I alluded to how important Google Assistant is to me.

I figured with Samsung and Google’s close relationship that Google Assistant integration was a given. Well, I couldn’t get G. A to work. Plus, one of my favorite features from the Galaxy Watch 3 was its SOS ability.

That too didn’t seem to work. I was very unhappy. Yet, someone at Google or Samsung must have heard my grumbling and decided to sprinkle pixie-dust on the watch while I slept. Because in trying them again the next morning, both worked perfectly.

Full disclosure on the SOS feature: to activate SOS to send out an alert message, it is necessary to press the home button super quick, like 3 or 4 times within a second. I admit part of the reason I couldn’t get it to activate earlier was because I was slow pressing the home button.

With all the smartwatches I’ve used over the years, this is my all-time favorite. The screen is bright and very readable, and the watch is easy to set up and thus far to maintain. It handshakes transparently with my Samsung Fold 3 smartphone, and the Wear app sitting on the phone is well thought out.

Hmm, I wonder if it supports the Audible app!.

I have been on the apple watch 1 since they came out so i figured I would just stay up to date keeping up with technology. I work in construction so I need a watch that is up for the task whatever it may be.

I looked down to check the time and the watch was separated at the mid section and hanging together by a wire (literally). I was just thinking i will have to get it replaced since I have not had it long enough to be out of warranty.

Nothing crazy happened and the glass is still in tact. I took it to a local screen replacement recommended by my apple care plus subscription. The guy ‘fixed’ it. The screen is no longer dangling from a wire but now the screen is just a bunch of random colors making no clear picture.

So I have been paying for a non working watch since probably this time last year and i have no idea who to talk to or where to get it fixed. I understand that apple has removed the ‘force touch’ functionality of the watch to make it.

32mm thinner but I think it just may have been the superglue that kept my apple watch 1 working for so many years. Matter of fact my apple watch 1 still working right now. I will pay off this watch and the next one i get will be the stainless steel model because I think it will be top of the line and I can’t afford to waste anymore time or money on anything.

By the way I purchased the blue aluminum apple watch 6. Or am in the process of purchasing as I am paying a small portion monthly as offered herein. Thanks hope this helps someone not to look flashy and purchase for dependability.

Good points: Screen size is small on 41, but very clear display so wasn’t an issue. Heart monitor and other health apps were excellent and the reason I purchased the Apple S7. Text ok despite small screen and calls ok.

Did seem to have issues with text to speech, so didn’t attempt to use function often. Bad points! Watch Strap not fit for purpose as after a few weeks of wear, fell off whilst walking from car into work.

Result screen was smashed in one corner. This also means watch face cannot have any shock absorbancy. Not at all something I would expect from such a high value item and at all acceptable for me as have to work hard for my money.

Thankfully after the nightmare my wife has been through, today money is back in my account. Would not recommend to buy due to these major issues. Apple, please address these and redesign your S7.

This Series 8 Apple Watch is very enjoyable to wear. I really like the fitness features and the ability to focus on my daily needs while serving patients. This watch has so many features that I have looked into for fun and see ones that I need to use.

I do not like the calendar date on the watch. It is something I use all day long and no matter the color of the face I choose or the position, the date is very hard to read. For anyone with eye sight issues, I think they will agree that the backlit date could as easily been a single larger date than putting 3 dates reducing the display.

Who cares that yesterday was the 14th and tomorrow is the 16th? Love the watch!!.

I didn’t expect perfect, and there are a few minor scratches on it as described, but for the price, that’s fine. The packaging was minimal, and entirely proportionate, reducing waste. The watch was supplied with two different lengths of strap to fit different sized wrists, and the strap is so easy to remove and replace, (so many options available so your watch can adapt to any occasion) great design as always.

There was a minor hiccup with the setup as the watch was still registered to the previous owner, but this was solved in minutes by the seller (who’s communications were swift and friendly) and once done, syncing with other Apple products was so ridiculously easy – of course it was.

During the set up process, I impetuously added a watch account with my phone provider, but that’s only really necessary when I’m making calls or playing music if the phone isn’t nearby, so I will probably cancel it as in the couple of weeks it’s been active, I haven’t needed it, so there’s a saving already! My big surprise is usability and display readability – even with a lot of apps on board, navigation is very simple, as again, you’d probably expect with an Apple product.

Apple Watch 6 looks smart and understated and is packed with features and functions, many of these related to monitoring activity and health, such as heart rate, ECG, blood oxygen levels, as well as the number of times you stand in a day, the number of steps you take and the number of minutes you exercise.

The one downside? It can be addictive.

I give this 4 1/2 out of 5 stars but since half stars are not allowed I’m rounding up to five. I love having an Apple Watch. It is extremely convenient, keeps me connected, and allows me to have features that I use, without having to carry around my big iphone.

It helps track my health data including sleep, heart rate, ECG and has a hand washing timer. I love pairing my AirPods with it and leaving my cell phone at home while I go exercise and listen to audiobooks or music.

Unfortunately the audiobook does not automatically sync with my iPhone. I have to remember to do it at night otherwise, if I listen to the book on my iPhone or on Alexa, my watch will not have the most updated place that I left off.

It’s why this watch loses a half star. It’s an inconvenience and it’s not always reliable. Sometimes I synch before I go to sleep and I wake up the next day and the synch still hasn’t been completed.

I can also use the GPS feature without having my phone with me. If I turn GPS on my iPhone, my watch will give me small vibration prompts when I’m about to get to a turn. I love the shiny stainless steel, it feels more like a jewelry style watch then just a piece of equipment.

I pay $10 monthly with auto pay on T-Mobile/Sprint or $15 a month without auto pay. The oximeter is helpful, especially if you’re diagnosed with Covid, which attacks the lungs. I was a little let down by the sleep tracker.

It just tracks your wake and sleep times. I guess I thought it would track my REM sleep and deep sleeps. My favorite new feature is the always on retina display. So you don’t have to flick your wrist or raise your arm in order to have the time appear as you do with my series 4.

Just keep it dimly on display until you flick your wrist and then it brightens up to the normal display level. However, if you use it as a sleep tracker the Apple Watch has a do not disturb feature so that the light will not turn on or stay on while you’re in sleep mode.

Do I think the series 6 was worth purchasing as an upgrade to my series 4? No. The additional features, which include the sleep tracker, the always on display, the handwashing timer, additional storage and the oximeter were not worth it.

This review is about an Apple Watch series 6 not about it being better or worse than my series 4, which is why it gets 4. 5 stars. If you do not own an Apple Watch, then I would recommend you purchase one.

They are super convenient and have lots of great features. If you’re looking to upgrade from a 4 to 6 I don’t think it’s worth the investment at this point in time. I would give the upgrades 2 stars.

An iPhone is a requirement to set up your watch. However, if you get the cellular version the watch can send and receive texts and calls without your phone nearby. When I take a call, I feel like Captain Kirk.

If you have trouble reading up close, the larger 44MM screen is helpful and worth the extra dollars. I watch band comes with the watch but the bands are easily removable. This leaves your wide open for a more sporty look or a more evening look.

I changed out the Milanese loop for a more formal looking band for these pics. The Milanese loop is nice, easily adjustable and comfortable to wear. I was afraid it would pull out my arm hairs but it doesn’t.

First of all, I am an Apple addict who owns only Apple products and thinks Apple can do no wrong to begin with, so yeah I also chose Apple Watch over other smart watches out there. Lol 🤓🙈 I love this watch, and I love all the new features it has to offer.

It has a brighter Retina display with an always-on option. The screen really is gorgeous. It has a crisp definition, and makes use of the whole screen. I bought the stainless steel 44mm with GPS + Cellular option.

Therefore, I can make phone calls, sms, FaceTime, etc even when I don’t bring my iPhone. This is great because I left my iPhone at home too often (old girl brain)! Lol ğŸ¤¦ğŸ ¼â€ â™€ï¸ When you’re on call using the Apple Watch you’ll be on speaker unless you’re using a Bluetooth headphones.

It has a great fitness tracker. It tracks the steps you take all day, making sure you stand up/drink water/etc and move frequently, and remind you to accomplish your workout goals everyday. It also has a fall detection, 911 alerts, you can shower/swim with it on, Blood Oxygen and ECG monitoring.

I’ve always wanted to get a smart watch but couldn’t decide if I wanted a Garmen, Apple Watch, Fitbit etc. I figured since I have an iPhone and I know apple products really well I’d go with an Apple Watch.

I’ve never owned an Apple Watch before and wasn’t sure if I’d even like it that’s why I bought this one. This Watch was one of the best things I ever bought for myself! This little thing is capable of so much and is a great starter Watch for those wanting to try one! This thing can do everything my phone can do.

This Watch connects to your iPhone via Bluetooth without draining any battery on your iPhone. This Watch will do anything a regular typical Watch can do (tell time, timer, stop watch, calculator) things like that! What I really love most about this Watch is how I can get phone calls and text messages from it.

For instance if I ever get a text message or phone call my watch will automatically vibrate my wrist and display the text or incoming call that way rather than my phone going off. Which is really handy and saves you the embarrassment if you’re in the office or in a movie.

You can also text from it and call from it and the other person wouldn’t even know the difference! I can also monitor my heart rate and fitness goals on this and use it to calculate how many steps or miles I’ve walked or how many calories I burn.

I’ve had this Watch for about 2 years now and have had no problems with it at all. As long as you take care of it it will sure take care of you! I personally think once you get the hang of how to use a smart watch you never want to go back to a regular watch because of how handy it is! Love this and highly recommend it to anyone!.

I’ve been an Apple devotee since the company came out with the iPhone back in 2007. I’ve had one of them ever since. I never could get into the whole iMac interface that my ex adored but I loved my iPhone and was very interested in getting an Apple Watch after awhile.

I was given a series 4 Apple Watch by my ex. It is the smaller size but has more screen space than the larger version of the series 3. or so they say. These things just keep getting better, faster, and smaller over the years.

I’m still pretty happy with my Apple Watch even though the company is now about to release a generation 8 version this fall. The one I have has cellular service so I can make/receive phone calls on it.

I also can send texts, set alarms, check my heart rate/rhythm, check the weather, track workouts, play music (via Amazon Echo, Apple AirPods, my car, etc. ), track sleep, etc. The thing I use it the most for is to read text messages that come in as I am driving, working, etc.

and don’t have immediate access to my phone. I can’t say that an Apple Watch is an absolute must-have or a practical purchase but I definitely recommend it if you want one and can afford it. I know 2 people who have had serious heart conditions (atrial fibrillation) picked up by this watch.

It also will call 911 if it detects a hard fall and you haven’t moved in like a minute. I’ve always been very happy with this product and will buy a new one when this one finally dies.

I don’t need the latest and greatest, or the EKG, or even the fall detection. What I really needed was a watch, that could work with my phone, fit my wrist, give me directions and work with my laptop.

It’s perfect. It works. If I can’t use my phone, I can still make calls through the watch. I bought this watch to replace a broken fitbit and I am so glad I did because it so perfectly pairs with my mac air, Iphone 13 and Ipad I own.

I was surprised by friends that say they don’t use many of the features on the watch because I am almost 40 (supposedly older people don’t understand tech stuff) and I use so many features on this watch.

I recommend you go online, download the instruction manual (over 300 pages) use the table of contents to skim what you don’t think you’ll need and read the parts you might use. In addition to all of the sport tracking features I love the little things, I can ping my phone (which I am always losing), I can silent my phone without taking it out of my purse, I can see who is calling me and send a short response without taking my phone out of my purse.

I can quickly make it waterproof before I wash dishes or give the kids a bath and if I want I can wear it when I swim laps. I have absolutely nothing to complain about! Definitely recommend it!!!.

I originally got second series and then I started driving for UPS and realized it would be a lot easier if I didn’t have to carry my phone on me but could still answer the phone through my watch. We’re not allowed to answer the phone while we’re driving but our managers call us constantly and let’s face it we’re driving cost silly so trying to call a supervisor back in the middle of delivering a package it’s just not going to work and we can’t we are earbuds while driving so having the Apple Watch literally saves me while I m working.

it’s also nice to not have to have my phone on me at the gym because it’s heavy and I have nowhere to put it it’s really annoying trying to carry a phone from machine to machine so having a watch along with my wireless headphones is great.

those are the main things I really use it for and of course to tell the time. I also like it to send text messages and track some of my workouts. I have a two-way walkie-talkie app downloaded and it’s a lot easier to use that than making phone calls and if you have a question you want to look up on the Internet you can just use the ask Siri and have it repeat it back to you through the watch.

I’ve tried fitbit but I didn’t really like it. Apple just makes sense because I have Apple tablets, an iMac, multiple iPhones and iPods so I already know the program but I love it it’s very convenient makes my life a lot easier….

I’ve found myself muttering I need to charge my phone, while staring directly at my watch’s dwindling battery – and that’s only a testament to the incredible capabilities of this little device. I haven’t owned even a conventional watch for a long time, so I don’t know what I was expecting.

Some sleep tracking, perhaps. Maybe checking on my blood pressure every now and again. Maybe a notification or two, if I wasn’t holding my phone? What I’ve gotten instead is a tiny little phone that I don’t have to remember to pick up and carry with me.

I can answer calls, set reminders with Siri, get notifications for upcoming meetings, control my music, use it as a delightful little flashlight on midnight journeys to the kitchen fridge. it’s a real joy.

The one downside has been the slightly awkward notification system. There isn’t yet an Apple watch version for all the iPhone apps I’m used to getting notifications for, so I’ve had to switch my reminders app from Due to apple’s own Reminders, and have also had to install Fantastical to get my calendar notifications.

The other thing – which I find mildly irritating – is that sometimes, the watch buzzes and makes the sound for a notification, but doesn’t actually show anything on the screen until 5-10 seconds later.

This has never happened to me with my phone – the sound, buzzing, and display on the screen all occur simultaneously – but on the watch I feel the buzz and ‘ping!’, then have to stare at my wrist like it’s an attention-seeking toddler for a few seconds to wait for the notification to show up to be placated.

Back to pros, however: Battery life is pretty good – better than I expected – but I must admit my expectations were low. I use the watch pretty heavily, and it easily handles a full day of poking and prodding.

From a 100% charge, i’ll typically be at around 30% by mid-morning the following day, and then into the single digits by mid-afternoon. So my cycle is to give it a bit of juice in the morning while I shower, then a bit of a charge at night while I prep dinner or do something else.

It sounds like a lot of work to keep charged, but I basically do it right alongside my phone – so it works pretty seamlessly, without additional mental overhead. In all – it’s become an essential iPhone accessory for me.

I don’t know why I waited this long to get one, but I’m glad I got this most advanced version as a result. It’s been only a week, but I definitely can’t see myself using an iPhone without an accompanying Apple watch anymore.

Oh, and a small aside: the standard sport band strap was awful for me. Snagged on my wrist hair both times I tried to wear it, and I took it off it immediately. Fortunately I’d read up on some reviews and had purchased the sport loop strap as well, and that’s been so comfortable that I genuinely don’t ever notice it.

I bought this to protect my Apple Watch. Asked a Best Buy tech if they would install it, they said “No”. So I did it myself at home. The glass screen constantly bubbled. After a week I got frustrated with constant bubbles and lifting.

So I bought a replacement glass screen protector. The same thing happened! So now I’ve spent $60 and am unhappy and frustrated. After two weeks with the annoying bubbles and lifting I went back in and talk to one of the techs.

After telling them my problems, they asked if they installed it for me. I told them that I asked them to but was told they couldn’t. So she said there’s nothing they could do since I did it myself. Total disappointment and frustration!.

I have used Zagg products for years and years. I have been very satisfied with their products, until I got this. I have broke my fair share of iPhone screen protectors, but haven’t ever scratched one.

I’ve never had problems with my screen bubbling, as I always take my time to install the screen protectors right the first time. This one- completely different story. I have not been able to keep either of them from bubbling.

And I say either because I had to replace it once already, and another replacement is in line; and I’ve only had it for 7 months. The screen protector constantly has bubbles in it, and it’s made of a cheap plastic which scratched almost instantly, and it just overall complete trash.

The only reason this got 2 stars is because of the bumper which has served its purpose. I just hate throwing money down the drain over and over and over for “free” replacements when shipping from Zagg is obscene.

I just spent $39 on this today, and applied it to my brand new Apple Watch 6. I really wish I trusted the other reviews (I mainly bought this because I trust Best Buy, and thought if other reviews were just picky).

Now I regret VERY MUCH, and really hope I trusted those reviews. Why this is a RIPOFF? 1) The quality is extremely low. The bubbles. Hard to push out, I pushed on my watch so hard, that now I am worried if the screen/sensor could have been compromised.

2) The edge does not stick. It is just a soft plastic hanging on the watch, it is not durable at all, and traps dirts/baterias. 3) The black edges make the watch screen smaller. Literally smaller, and the jeweiliness feeling of Apple Watch is just downgraded to like a gShock.

4) Finally, the price is REDICULOUS. What you get is a 1 buck case (cheap plastic), and a bad plastic screen protector (really bad plastic). Is it worth $40?! I hppe Best Buy put down this item, it is damaging the brand of Best Buy! 5) Final finally, can I still ask for a return?? I regret very much I got this and did not trust those reviews!.

This is my first Apple Watch, I had owned for almost a month. I like it a lot, I am obsessed with closing my circles every day. It’s a very easy to use watch. I do have one complaint though but it’s not Apple’s fault, it’s Nike’s fault.

I bought this watch mainly because I thought I could have my Nike Running App Guided Running Plans in the watch, but to my dismay no, that can not be possible. I do have access to the Guided Runs but that’s not what I wanted.

I thought that since the watch is a Nike Apple Watch it all would sync like a charm but no. I got hold of a Nike elite tech advisor and he told me that at the moment that was not possible, that I would have to start the guided plan on the phone app and the watch would record the time , pace, heart rate etc.

So my plan to leave the phone behind on my runs wasn’t going to work. I thought that it would work like my Garmin watch, on that watch I can save my running plans and just press start on watch and go, no phone required.

I almost returned the  watch just because of this, but at the end I keep it. It does have a lot of features that are fun and actually productive. All I have to keep in mind is even though is advertised as a “ running or working out “ watch, is not a dedicated running watch, I have owned several Garmin and Polar watches so I know what a running or multi sports watch can do.

I would keep running with my Garmin on one wrist and the  on the other, got to close those circles hehe. Bottom line, the  watch is a fun tiny extension of my iPhone with lots little things to do with it.

It is a smart watch no doubt about I just wish it was more hard core active. Because as it is there’s virtually no difference between the Nike model and the regular  model, none whatsoever.

Love the watch, I hold a Best Buy credit card and so far am happy with it. Best Buy does a good job with shipping and prices -for brand new items- As far as the Apple Watch, it is what it is, you buy them knowing there’s going to be a cooler one out in a year.

Honestly, I’m kinda disappointed Apple hasn’t implemented a circular design yet. But I am happy with this watch, it displays a lot of information at the glance of a wrist. But, like I said, there’s always a cooler one around the corner.

For example, next generation Apple Watches should have blood sugar sensors, and possibly a design rework. It’s a little bit different with a new phone coming out every year when compared to a new Apple Watch coming every year.

Because Apple adds, and very well withholds, new technology for future models. That being said, the blood oxygen, heart beat sensor, and new EKG capabilities all work great. Though, I am looking forward to being able to monitor blood sugar health with new generations, as I’m sure a lot of diabetics are probably excited for this technology to appear as well.

I’ve been hooked on Fitbit as a fitness tracker for the past 10 years, I have been an iPhone user for the past 12 years and casual MacBook user and really still struggled with the decision to move over to this Apple system.

I tried an older Apple watch years ago and it just didn’t do enough on the heath side to warrant the switch. When the 7 came out and a lot of the health / fitness features were improved i decided to give it a shot again since my Fitbit was smashed.

Ultimately I am glad I did. The configuration can be a little time consuming, getting everything to talk to one another but ultimately I’m happy with the switch. The fitness tracking is not as robust as the Fitbit but the majority of what a non hardcore fitness enthusiast needs is there.

The ONLY thing that really drives me nuts is no built in continuous heart rate capabilities. There are some third party apps but they are not great overall. Battery life is better than expected but i turned off the always on feature.

That gets me about 2 days worth of battery. One day with it on. I just make it habit of charging it when i get to work so i can wear it to sleep and get sleep stats.

After much research and consideration as to how best to be able to communicate with our “tween age” son when he is away from home (he carpools with others to/from athletic practices out of town 4-5 days a week), we opted for the Apple Watch SE and activated it using Family Share so that there was no need for him to have his own smart phone at this time.

Because of his age (and sometimes forgetfulness) we knew it would be best to have some sort of wearable that could stay on his body and not be left laying around somewhere. Also, having the watch set up with its own line via Family Share – I am able to control his contacts, but he is able to text/call the friends/family that I have allowed.

I like that there is a “school time” option that can be set with a specific schedule so it turns on/off throughout the day based on the times we have entered – so if he is running at PE and I have that time set correctly – he will have access to workouts so he can track his activity.

Should he have a need to reach myself or his father during “school time” he can disable it – BUT, it lets me know anytime “school time” has been disabled (what time and how long). I appreciate that I can use the Find My Phone option to see his location and can set it to send me a notification when he arrives/leaves certain places (ex swim practice after school).

I also like that I am able to set him up to use his watch to pay by using Apple Cash. This allows me to give him specific amounts of money that he can use wherever Apple Pay is accepted or that he can send through messages to specific contacts (a friend or friend’s parent) if they go somewhere that he needs to pay for food or something, BUT it does not allow him free access to my debit card or bank account (it also doesn’t leave me with giving him cash that he may lose).

His favorite part is the activity tracker. He likes being able to track his workouts and really likes that the pool workouts are even able to determine what strokes he is swimming. He and his best friend are both athletic and very competitive – this has been fun to watch, as her mom text me to let me know she was running in place while watching a movie one evening this week because he was “beating her” in activity for the day.

I really like that this watch is available, affordable and that Family Share allows us to limit where limits are needed (NO SOCIAL MEDIA).

As someone who has always been an avid Fitbit user,trying an Apple Watch was definitely out of my comfort zone. But after even just a week of using my Series 3 Apple Watch,I was amazed at how much more I liked it compared to my previous Fitbit Charge HR.

While there are many characteristics about the Series 3 Apple Watch that are incredible and worthy to be talked about,I will be focusing on a few of the major things that make me love mine: Appearance – All Apple Watches have a similar appearance when it comes to the screen – either a 40mm or 44mm sapphire screen which is extremely durable when it comes to scratches.

You can personalize your watch with the band. It comes with a black,white,or pink band,but you can order any color or style you can think of online. Apple also makes it very easy to switch the bands without any worry about breaking the watch or messing anything up.

Durability – A Series 3 Apple Watch will be with you during rain or shine,sweaty workouts,doing the dishes,walking to class,doing yard work,and everything else between. Since it is waterproof,the watch is easy to wash and even shower with,so you never have to worry about cleaning it up once it has become dirty.

There is even a button you can press to lock the watch when you are going to get it in water so that no water will come inside,and any that does will then be ejected when you release the button. Friendly Competition – Instead of beginning your fitness journey on your own,Apple allows you to sync and share your workouts with friends who also have Apple Watches.

All Apple Watches set a daily goal for each wearer to stand for at least 12 hours a day,exercise for 30 minutes a day,and burn a certain number of active calories which is decided individually based on goals and physical activity level.

When you reach all of these goals,it notifies you and your friends. It also notifies you and your friends when either one of you have completed a workout or received a certain award. This encourages friendly competition between you and your friends and allows you to keep each other accountable on your fitness goals.

Bought this watch as my first Apple Watch, and was really excited. Within a few weeks it started acting weird, and it then it just stopped working all together and wouldn’t reset or turn back on. Went to Verizon where I bought it.

They sent me to apple store. Apple store said they don’t repair watches so to call in for diagnostics. Did that, but they wouldn’t run diagnostics. So I had to send it in to get a repair quote (not sure why I have to pay to have a faulty product fixed).

I’ve never been so frustrated with a product.

I got the two-tone last week. I have the 5 series Apple Watch 44mm and it fits fine. They said on TV it’s made for the 6 series but I knew otherwise because all the 44mm watches are identical cases. Inside the box it’s actually states it’s made for 6,5,4 and SE Series in the size 44mm only.

I don’t know why they didn’t say that on TV. They could of sold more if they did. Besides that I been wearing this at work and everyone was walking up to me asking what kind of watch I had on. They couldn’t believe it was actually the Apple Watch inside a huge beautiful case.

I’m now anxiously waiting for the diamond version. If you have the Apple Watch in the 44mm you must own this accessory.

When I saw this item in ShopHQ I did not hesitate to order it. I thought to myself, “At last my Apple Watch will look like an Invicta. As soon as the box arrived I installed my Apple Watch. This is where the excitement ends.

First, it will not fit on my charging stand. I had the find the original charger that came with the watch. Second, the watch kept losing contact with my wrist. I needed to keep re-entering my password.

Third, the watch kept misreading my heart rate. I adjusted the ban twice to no avail. I return the item.

Unfortunately I am not able to do a full review of this particular watch. The chassis only fit a 44mm Apple Watch and I happen to have the 45mm watch. Hopefully Invicta will start producing this in the 45mm as well.

However it’s beautifully constructed, it has your typical Invicta style and elegance. I would definitely recommend this piece to dress up your Apple Watch.
