Comfort bikes for seniors are designed to provide a comfortable, relaxed riding experience. They typically have a wide seat and upright riding position, and include features such as a step-through frame and adjustable handlebars to make getting on and off the bike easy.
Many comfort bikes also come with suspension to smooth out bumps in the road, and some even have electric assist motors to help with hill climbing.

This is our second Mobo bike that we have bought within a month. My son and I are both autistic, so these bikes are awesome and they exist at a price point that makes them accessible to a lot of people who need them.
However, quality control seems to be a huge issue. With both bikes that we have bought, we received damaged wheels This isn’t a huge deal, because Mobo will send replacement parts for free, which is awesome.
But it is very disappointing to get something damaged out of the box. Especially if you kid has been looking forward to riding it. Or if you purchased it for a special event, and now it won’t work until your part arrives.
They need to spend some time figuring out their quality issues. Overall, this is a super cool, fun to ride bike. That needs to exist on the market for people like us.
Why did I give it five stars? I am a 100% Disabled Vietnam Veteran with a broken lower back, neck, and foot issues, as well as a blown-out shoulder. These issues make exercise such as walking, running, swimming, or riding a traditional bike extremely difficult and painful.
By taking pressure off of my lower back, the Mobi recumbent trike lets me exercise in a way no other activity allows me to. With a price point that is $1,500. 00 plus higher than the Mobi, other recumbent bikes may offer sturdier construction, rear-wheel drive, or additional options such as lower gears for climbing steeper inclines.
For the price, the Mobi Shift is an affordable, fully functional, recumbent trike. With my medical issues and the pain associated with exercise, my weight had blossomed to two hundred and forty pounds.
The Mobi handled that weight easily, and it allows me to get the exercise I need to improve my health and along with a change in my eating habits, I will continue to lower my weight. Though some people have complained about cosmetic issues they must look at the price point explained above.
For a savings of $1,500 to $3,000. 00, a $10. 00 can or jar of touch-up paint is a minor expense.
AM I HAVING FUN OR WHAT?! If this little buggy falls completely to bits today I would still have gotten my whole money’s worth!! I’m pretty sure I’m directly responsible for a large portion of new sales in my area because I’m out and about on it every chance I get and LOTS of folks want to know where I got it every time.
It is beyond comfy on your entire human frame, (I did mod it up with a crazy kitchen chair cushion since the sturdy seat needs a bit of, well, cushioning. ) I can peddle around, using my natural core strength (hips and legs, braced against seat back) all reclined and nearly effortless, it just doesn’t get much better than that! I added all kinds of cool junk (phone and cup holder, bell, lights, bike lock, etc.
) and have plans for a trailer to haul small beings and greater loads than my strapped-on backpack. I load it in the truck easily (small oldish woman) and yet it’s plenty weighty feeling. It’s zippy and works on the side of the sidewalk as well as on the sidewalk.
Yesterday I maneuvered through a crowded festival taking up no more space than a mother and stroller, then I bought a big fat lobster roll and a frozen mochaccino, and ate it with my feet kicked up on the front wheel, watching mortals walk and stand.
Choosing the right bike can be tough. Road bikes are great for speed and fitness, but they can’t handle even the smallest patch of gravel. Cruiser bikes are fun and casual, but they aren’t designed for long and strenuous rides.
Mountain bikes can handle gnarly trails but aren’t fast enough to take to work. Sounds like you need a hybrid, the perfect combination of road bike speed, cruiser comfort and mountain bike versatility.
The 700c Women’s Schwinn GTX 2 has all of that and more, a true multi-sport hybrid that can handle all of your biking needs. Ride it around the neighborhood with the kids, take it to the store or commute to work with it in the mornings – The GTX 2 is up for anything.
It features Shimano 21-speed trigger shifters and a Shimano rear derailleur for easy, precise gear changes, a Schwinn suspension fork to smooth out the ride, and strong and light alloy rims for added stability.
The front and rear mechanical disc brakes provide extra stopping power and the Schwinn multi-use tires are perfect for on-road riding or off-road adventures. So what are you waiting for Enjoy the ride on a Schwinn!.
I recently purchased this bike, and while I really like it now, I have had some issues with the assembly and the bike itself. I thought that the bike would be good to go at pickup, but it was given to me with very low pressure in the inner tubes.
Also, in one of the gears, the chain consistently fell off onto the next gear while riding. Turns out the gears just needed a very minor adjustment and now everything works great. Good customer service.
After everything was addressed/fixed and I got to ride it properly, I noticed that the spot on the frame that a bottle cage would attach to is A) hard to reach while riding and B) would not fit many taller bottles.
All I’ve been able to use are typical 17 oz disposable water bottles. I will look into getting a different bottle cage that could maybe be attached to the top tube of the frame. Also, the seat it comes with is rather uncomfortable, and I would imagine it would be a bit narrow for many women.
It has decent padding, but since this is a women’s bike, I would expect it to come with a wider seat for a woman’s frame. This was an easy switch to a different seat, so no big deal. With the gears now shifting smoothly and the seat swapped out, this is a great bike.
I have ridden on road, dirt, and gravel and it handles everything well and is easy to ride. I am happy with my purchase.

Love my new road bike. Excellent price for quality provided. Bike is designed to go fast with aggressive ram handlebars for quality paved roads and paved bike trails. 4. 5 stars instead of 5 stars due to the lack of specification description for the product.
I will do my best to describe. Warning: This is a one size fits all bike frame size ~56 cm with 700 tires. This size is slightly too large for my 5’8″ 30″ inseam frame. I will still ride it. Secondly, highly recommend professional assembly, good learning experience assembling and calibrating/adjusting.
Make certain all nuts, screws, spokes and bolts are tight! Lastly, make sure you have an air pump that can meet the tires 80-100 psi requirement. PROS: carbon fork with aluminum frame, Microhift R8 STI shifters, Shimano Claris front and back derailleurs, 16 speeds (understand trimming), ProMax dual pivot brake calipers (not plastic), 700 wheels, nice color, 700x28cm tires fisher stem, pedals, seat & kickstand.
Everything you need is in the box. I only had to purchase a water bottle cage and water bottle!! CONS: Tires are made by Chao Yang tire company, pedals are plastic, not all components are Shimano, no idea who made the crank set/sprockets.
Try to beat this price with a brand name bike!! Easy upgrades for the tires and thinking about upgrading the pedals and brake pads. Right now this weekend warrior wouldn’t be able to notice any better components.

Seems like a decent bike and not hard to put together, but it is green, not yellow. The title clearly says yellow (my son is on the autism spectrum and loves yellow; thus this purchase), but if you click on the specs it says green.
Some of the pics also look much greener than yellow (those pics are more accurate than the main pic in my opinion). So, a bit disappointed, but don’t want to go through the trouble of a return.

I bought the Schwinn Meridian adult tricycle, single speed, 26 inch wheels in burgundy. The bike, itself, is absolutely beautiful. So you can imagine my disappointment while unpacking the bike from a perfectly shipped box, and upon unwrapping the fenders found them dented and scratched.
This had to have happened at the factory. This bike was packed very nicley. The shipping box was in perfect condition. So, the damage HAD to have happened before the fenders were wrapped!! Whoever wrapped them should be ashamed of themselves for doing such shady work.
I have returned the bike and am ordering another one. All the while hoping the next one will not be damaged. No one should pay almost $400 for anything and expect it to be damaged. Hopefully, in a few weeks, I can do another review and make it 5 stars.

This recumbent exercise bike is really nice! I put it together alone (64 year old female) which took me a long time to complete, but it wasn’t difficult, just slow going. I currently have it located in the basement because I don’t have room for it in our living space, but it is so quiet it could be located in a bedroom, living room, etc.
, without bothering anyone. It is quite sturdy (heavy), so I think it will be very durable. My only disappointment is that I find the seat hard. I’m using a pillow on it right now, but intend to look for a better solution.
All parts arrived intact. I assembled it using a wonderful YouTube video i found for assembling the 1000XL version. The instruction manual it came with was personally confusing, but all in all it took me only 1 hour and 30 minutes.
All of the wiring was good and the bike works great after 4 days of use. The seat is comfortable and the app capability that the bluetooth version came with is really helpful!! Will try to update after having it for a few weeks.

This cruiser maintains a low center of gravity, thus making it especially stable and safe for the whole family. The comfortable recumbent seating position means minimal pressure on your back, wrists, elbows or hands.
Perfect for riding at the beach, achieving a brisk work out and for leisure rides. What a great way to stay fit while having fun!.
This was the best bike I had ever purchased and easy to ride, control and who cares it didn’t have any gears. You really got a workout. I really enjoyed my Mobo Pro for a long time. 8years, until I could not get off the seat, because of knee issues.
The seat height is only 12. 5″ off the ground and I was having a hard time getting in and off the bike. I’d purchase another bike if the seat was higher by at least 4-8″. Which would make it easier for seniors w/ knee issues to use.
In 2020 I was told that Mobo was looking into make a seat higher. I don’t know if it was done, I wish it was. I did recommend this to a friend and she purchased one.
My daughter that has special needs absolutely loves her Triton Pro!! So much so that she doesn’t want anyone else riding it. Lol. It has given her more independence and freedom than she’s ever had. She could never go for bike rides with us on a regular bike and she’s gotten to big to pull in a trailer.
I do wish it had a couple of gears and was a little heavier in the front but otherwise absolutely wonderful!! Thank you!!.
Bike came with one small fender with 2 dents. Large fender is pushed in at middle of fender. Bike went together fairly simple. Had to spray a little oil on wheel axels and tap it with rubber mallet. Tires came flat which is ok.
Less weight. Bought for my wife but when she tried it she didn’t like it. Learning curve pushing the pedals up and around. I didn’t mind it but it was bought for her and she does not want it. Going back.

I bought this bike because my 20 year old mountain bike was getting too uncomfortable for me due to back issues. The build quality seems to be very good, and the paint is a nice deep blue that doesn’t come out in the online pictures.
The frame geometry coupled with the adjustable stem and high-rise handlebars puts me in an upright riding position, so my back isn’t bent so far now. The larger 700c38 wheels and front shock provide a smoother and more comfortable ride.
The front shock is a little stiffer than what I’m used to, but it does a decent job of absorbing sharp impacts. It should serve its intended purpose fine for the type of riding I do, which is mostly for exercise and riding around the neighborhood with my family.
The gel seat is wider than a MTB saddle, and provides quite a bit more support, so I can even ride without wearing my padded biking shorts. While the seat is mounted on a post with a shock built in, I find that it doesn’t provide a lot of shock absorption as the shock is in-line with the seat post, but the forces from me “bouncing” when going over bumps is at an angle to it, so the seat doesn’t really compress the shock.
If I lean back, I can feel it move more, but that’s not how I ride. I may look at an aftermarket solution for this in the future. The gearing on this bike is a 21-speed (3×7) with a very large low cog, which is quite a bit different from my previous 24-speed (3×8).
I like the fact that the front chain rings have a guard that should keep pants legs from getting caught by the chain and largest ring. While it shares some of the same gearing as my previous bike, the larger wheels (700c38 vs 26×2.
5) result in the same gear ratio requiring more effort, so it’s taking some time to find a new chain ring/sprocket combo that’s comfortable for me, but that’s not a knock on the bike. Just some info for prospective buyers.
The shifting is very quiet, and I like the trigger-style index shifters as opposed to the grip shifters. The front derailleur wasn’t aligned properly when it was installed, so I am having to adjust it so it shifts properly and doesn’t interfere with the chain.
Again, this isn’t a knock on the bike itself, just FYI. The rear has some trouble getting to the smallest cog, but I’m not sure why yet. I’m guessing that it is a matter of getting it adjusted properly and not an issue with the equipment.
The brakes work very well. The levers are plastic instead of aluminum like on my old bike, but since I’m not going to be bombing any backcountry trails any more, this shouldn’t be a problem. They do seem to be very sturdy without any flex.
The tires are a Chinese brand that have a unidirectional road oriented tread, which is perfectly fine for the type of riding I am doing. It should be fine on groomed trails, but I wouldn’t do any kind of off-roading with them as they do not have a very open pattern.
The pedals are plastic platform type pedals with a flat surface, not grip screws or edges. I have not had any problem with keeping my feet on them. My old bike’s pedals have grip screws, and while I can see why you would want them, I found them to be a little too effective.
This made it difficult to make small adjustments to where my feet are set. I will probably remove the screws since my wife is using them now. Overall, I am very pleased with this bike. The only “cons” I can think of are the limited benefits of the seat post shock and the stiffer front shock, but those are very minor things that should not deter anyone from purchasing this bike.
I bought this bike about a month ago and have ridden it about 10 times at varying distances. So far, so good. Smooth ride and the padded seat (with little shocks) help absorb some of the bumps on my routes.
The gear shifters are smooth and easy to manipulate. The one thing to be aware of has nothing to do with the quality of the bike but rather the quality of the build. First, within a couple rides, I found the rear deflector was shifting – when I touched it – and I mean a light touch, it fell off.
Upon further inspection, it was already broken with a piece missing. Clearly someone tried to force it on the post and it broke, so they just plopped it on there hoping no one would notice. The handlebars were very loose and would wiggle no matter how much I tightened the bolts.
It was maddening. I decided to take off the handlebars and see what was up with the bolts, maybe put a washer in there – then I found a little plate on the underside of the handlebars that was barely finger tight.
Once I tightened that panel and reinstalled the handlebars, the wiggle disappeared. All I’m saying is to make sure you thoroughly inspect the bike before you ride off on it.
Was so excited with this Hybrid Bike with it’s aluminum frame and comfort seat with Shimano gears. What a disappointment. First ride things started going wrong so took to a local bike shop to get it a tune up (after 2 rides) they tell me the gears are shot and they can not get any in.
They adjusted the rear smaller gear to partially work but couldn’t do anything with the large pedal sprocket gears. Seat will not stay in place regardless of how much it is tightened and no rotation adjustment for a front to back tilt on the seat so men, better hope your prostates are up for some real pressure! Very dissatisfied!!.

Reviews From Real Customers
Bought a L (6ft2) and its a great fit. I am on the way to achieving over 100km easily on a single charge using mostly level 1, and very seldom level 2/3 on steeper gradients. An average cyclist will easily keep the momentum just over 25kph on the flat sections, which means using less battery and getting far more than the advertised 75km range.
It doesn’t feel like 13. 5kg of bike and rolls really well (almost as good as my Ridley Kanzo Fast Gravel). The motor is there to assist , and I find it especially useful on the stop/starts of gravel and bridleway riding.
Sweet spot seems to be 18-23kph. Motor shuts down over 25kph and there is minimal drag when not engaged. This is not a big bulky Bosch style motor , its a gentle assist when you pedal at level 1 helping you go further with less fatigue.
Use level 2/3 for short/sharp gradients if needed. Aim to keep your ride average just over 25kph and this will give you more of a workout than any standard gravel bike. in case you are worried what your mates will say about going for an e-bike.
Great build quality and lots of mount points for luggage etc. Only change I made was better, more padded bar tape and Panaracer Gravelking SK+Tubeless setup (38″).
I looooove this bike. It’s fast. It’s fun. It doesn’t look like a giant chunky e-bike. I can keep up with my husband who is a much more serious cyclist. Unfortunately it got the dreaded pink flashing light after the third charge and would no longer turn on.
Unlucky for me since I was out on a trail in the middle of a national park when it happened. After doing everything I could via researching online, I came to the conclusion that I would have to take it in.
I got the runaround from my local REI (Lynnwood, WA), who shrugged their shoulders and suggested I call Cannondale. Cannondale confirmed the dealer (REI) had to do a firmware update to keep the battery from overcharging itself and bricking (pink flashing light).
I checked with a different REI an hour away (Bellingham, WA) and had a couple of lengthy phone calls with their techs. They were kind enough to go down the rabbit hole. They spoke to REI corporate, spoke to the battery manufacturer, ordered the cable and firmware update dongle they needed, and got my bike fixed in a couple of weeks.
I’ve got it back and it’s working great. I recommend this bike, but I don’t recommend taking delivery without getting the firmware update FIRST. Keep calling until someone is willing to help you out.
The Bayside from Kent Bicycles is a hot rod cruiser that looks fast standing still. Lean and mean is the name of the game with a flat black cantilevered steel frame, sweet black rims and fenders and swept back handlebars.
The seven-speed drivetrain with easy twist shifter and Shimano rear derailleur. The front and rear alloy sidepull handbrakes keep this wildcat under control. Comfy springer style saddle for longer adventures and the seat height is quickly adjusted with no tools courtesy of the quick release seatpost clamp.
When you’ve got the need for speed and a yearning to look cool while doing it, the Bayside is the ticket.

101-00036: With a new ergonomic frame, 750W geared hub motor & 48V battery built with enhanced hilling climbing capabilities, the RadRover 6 plus step-thru fat tire electric bike is built to handle any trail, any terrain, anytime.
It’s a big sucker and I live on the second floor of an apt with only a stairway to my place. That said, it’s an awesome bike. It does take some getting used to as it’s big and fast and the pedal assist is very strong.
I upgraded to the brighter headlight, after my first night ride, as my immediate area has iffy streetlights. I had an endorphin rush on the first ride, such guilty fun. Ironically, it makes me want to ride my basic 29er mtn bike more, as the latter seems small now.
These bikes seem to appeal to folks without a long association with bicycling so if that describes you, be super safe and wear a helmet, eye protection, very sturdy and protective shoes and bright clothing.
Also, review your car driver hand signals for left and right turns although most drivers may not know them, especially the one for right turn (left arm raised, hand held high). Carefully read the manual especially when it comes to the battery charging protocol, the order of how to hook the battery to the charger.
My favorite thing about the bike is how forgiving it is to new riders. Make an effort to use the rear derailleur correctly. one my first test ride I rode up a steep hill in a way too high of gear, with the use of the totally awesome twist throttle.
I now see that if you ride this as a bike using the appropriate gear for the incline and situation, using as little pedal assist that you need, and using the throttle to bale you out when you miscalculate or your legs aren’t up to the task (or you just want to get a free ride) that this is a safe and very fun bike.
My first ride I was like Marlon Brandon in the “Wild One”. I was in a CAL Ranch store the other day and they had a comparable bike for $5300. Final thoughts: this is a huge bike and it’s a heavy one as well.
It has momentum when it gets going and the brakes are ok but I had to stop going down a steep hill and it took some effort. This bike is not a toy, nor really a bicycle. I have ridden motorcycles for decades and this seems like one to me.
It is really fun, just get comfortable and competent on it before venturing into the real world.
Please reconsider charging me $232. 19 for parts required for the first assembly of two Rad Rover 6 ST bikes, Order 678834. I had no issues assembling the two bikes except there were two connections that would not fit together – the headlight connector (red) on one bike and the display connector (green) on the other bike.
I notified Rad Power product support and based on their recommendation brought both bikes to Bike Barn Cycling and Fitness. I think it is unethical for Rad Power to make a unilateral decision “these parts and the labor to install them will not be covered under the Rad warranty since they were damaged by not properly aligning the connectors during assembly.
” This does not pass the common sense test. There was an issue with the connectors that you sent me. Rad Power sent faulty connectors. It cannot be an assembly problem, you line up the arrows and push them together.
How can it be an assembly problem? I would have chosen to have a bike shop put together the bikes , I am sure Rad Power would not charge the bike shop for faulty connectors. I did not damage these connectors.
I followed the directions explicitly and they did not fit together. To make matters worse, I purchased both bikes in January 2022 (Order 678834) and now Rad Power is offering $300 off each bike in celebration of the 15th anniversary.
Companies like Amazon offer price protection. So I feel like I overpaid Rad Power by $600 and Rad Power charged me $232. 19 for faulty connectors. I would like Rad Power to reconsider charging me for the parts and I would like price protection.
Well I am about a hundred miles from my house, just returning early from a three month fishing excursion, which took me thru Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, then back to Utah. I had a wonderful time.
Caught bitchen fish every where. Used my Rad 6 almost every day. What I did was get one of your rear tire racks, bought some PVC pipe and caps attached them to the rack for rod holders and straped my fishing gear bag to the rack and I was set to go.
I operated the bike in many different conditions and it performed unbelievable awsom ln all of them. I was showing a fellow camper all the perks with the Rad 6, cause he was unhappy with the E-Bike’s he had purchased for him and his wife.
After showing him the bike, letting him ride it and telling him about the extreemly outstanding customer service, you should be hearing from him soon. What caused me to end my trip early was, I was at the top of Boulder Mountain Utah when I went down a dirt road looking for this remote lake and ran into a dead end with no place to turn my 2022 Tacoma and travel trailer around.
It took me over three hours to get out of there. Unfortunatly at one point I got confused and turned the stearing wheel of my truck the wrong way, Jacked Knifed the trailer and crushed the entire passenger side of the bed of the truck.
So that was yesterday and I decided to call it a trip, head home and contact my AAA agent and get it fixed. Then I will go a head and finish the trip.

A great all around bike that can handle city commuting, fitness training, or longer excursions. Designed for comfort over the long haul, the Barron comes with a suspension front fork and a wide cushy saddle.
Conquer the hills with Shimano Megarange Altus 21-speed gearing controlled with handlebar-mounted Revo shifters. Equipped with powerful hand-operated linear pull brakes, quick-release wheels with alloy double-wall rims and 700 x 32c tires.
Your dream bike if. Your route takes you anywhere from downtown to the coastline. You love seamless gear changes, lots of speed options, and hitting the perfect cadence. Most importantly, you want a comfortable, versatile bike for workout sprints or speeding at sunset.
It’s all in the details. Barron sports Shimano Tourney front and 7S rear derailleurs to give you a wide range of gearing with smaller intervals of effort input. This allows you to get the exact pedaling feeling you’re seeking with smoother transitions in between.
Easily switch gears with at-your-fingertips Revoshift twist shifters. No matter the terrain, Barron’s comfort suspension fork absorbs the shock of bumps for optimal comfort, control, and safety on the road.
Barron’s wide 38C tires will smooth out the rest. The cherry on top. This comfort hybrid bike’s sleek frame, ergonomic bike seat, cushy grips, and riser handlebars make it perfect for the comfort-conscious (and stylish) cyclist.
Let’s start with the Pros: The Bubble Gum color is great! The frame is relatively lightweight. It pedals nice. The bike arrived in good shape with all the parts. Cons: The seat could be more comfortable, but it is ok.
Will probably upgrade to memory foam at some point. The front wheel is not quick release. There is one design flaw explained by my very experienced bike mechanic. The front cogs are set too far to the right of the front derailleur.
The issue this causes is you cannot shift onto the large front cog if the chain is on the smaller cogs in the rear. You have to shift to a larger cog in the rear before you can move onto the large cog in the front.
It’s an inconvenience, but not a fatal flaw. At this price point, perfection would be a lot to ask for. Overall I am happy with the purchase.
The bicycle is a dream to ride. Light weight, comfortable and the shift gear are easy and transitioned well. In my old bicycle I was only able to ride for 3 miles and this one so far I managed to ride for 8 miles.
Assembly was a breeze with. YouTube video I found. It took me 1 hour to put together. I bought a brown seat, but it wasn’t necessary as the seat it comes with looks just as wide and comfortable. I am 5’2” and bought the Extra small size 14 and if fits my body like a glove when riding.
A great investment and highly recommend. I got the bubble gum color online the color looks brighter, but in person is more of a subtle pink. I will mainly use it on paved trail to work out.
The worst return policy. Please read the fine print before purchase. The bike is very rudimentary. Seat is too high for me even for the Small size (I am 5’3″) and can’t be adjusted unless you cut it with a sharp saw or something.
hence the return request, and realized – return shipping cost is at least $55, the package needs to be in “resale” condition which makes sense but any packaging that’s not in original shape or crushed it not returned.
Basically the bike is NOT returnable after you unpacked, removed all packaging and started to assemble the bike. If you are reading this and already placed the order, please don’t remove any packaging – review the size and height of the bike and see if it fits before proceeding.
I had thought the bike looks great and reasonably priced. Lots of great online reviews as well. But now I think you can get the same bike for half the price in a store with decent return policy.
They say that every journey begins with a single step but when that journey is related to exercise that first step can sure be a doozy. It can be life-changing however and theres no better machine to take the plunge with than with the 2022 Specialized Roll 3.
0 Comfort Bike. With its lightweight alloy frame eight speeds of go fast gearing stable and wide 650b tires and powerful hydraulic disc brakes the Roll does everything in its power to encourage and motivate you to keep fit and get around in comfortable efficient style.
I am a 50-year old overweight male. I made this purchase because I aspire to lose weight and be healthy for the long-term. I am very glad I made the investment. The Roll 3. 0 has an amazingly smooth and comfortable ride.
Shifts are very smooth. I have yet to experience any discomfort outside of the exertion I intended when I got on the bike. The Roll 3. 0 is everything it is advertised to be.
Mikes Bikes has always been my go to place for my bicycle needs. Great service and value. As for the Specialized Roll Elite this is the bike I have been searching for for a lifetime. I am 60 years old.
I am not a competitive rider, I am out for the scenery and the ride. My ride may be an old country backroad or a trip to the farmers market. This is the bike, 9 speeds rather than 21, firm hydraulic disc brakes, upright seating position on a comfortable seat and large tires for a very smooth ride.
This is a great bike for a casual ride on the weekend. The seating position is upright, so you are not bent over and resting on the handlebars as you would be on a typical mountain bike. That makes for a much more comfortable ride without sore wrists or sore back.
In fact, the seat is probably the best thing about the bike. You do not get a sore backside from this ride. It is a 7 speed which is plenty for most, but is not ideal for long hills. I am definitely happy with my purchase.
Relaxed riding position, carbon frame, wireless shifting, power meter – with this endurance bike, ride far and fast on any road. Within this price bracket, the Endurace CF SL 8 Disc eTap offers incredible speed and comfort.
Your next bike shouldnt limit you it should open up a world of new possibilities. Enter the 2022 Diamondback Haanjo 3 Road Bike a bike that can handle any kind of road paved or not that calls your name.
The Haanjo 3 is equipped with a butted and formed aluminum frame that delivers a great balance of comfort and durability. The Endurance Geometry is also designed to place you in a more comfortable position thats perfect for both long rides and rough roads.
The Shimano Sora 29-speed drivetrain provides ample gearing for those long hauls and a Gravel Disc alloy fork keeps the steering pinpoint precise without adding extra weight to the mix. Where can you ride the Haanjo 3 Wherever you want.
I have had my Haanjo 5 for 3 weeks now, so it’s time for a review. First some background on my perspective: I have been a road bike rider for 30+ years and own several road bikes. This is my first gravel bike My experience with Backcountry: I was comfortable sizing the bike myself based on the geometry chart.
I ordered online. I received an email soon afterward from Backcountry. I was a bit disappointed that it would take 6 days to build up and check out the bike and ship it. The bike was very well packaged and was in the largest bike box I have seen.
The frame was zip tied to a heavy cardboard “frame” and the wheels were separated from the frame with a thick cardboard divider. Everything was wrapped in cardboard. The bike arrived in perfect condition.
As far as setup, I just needed to install the seatpost and attach the handlebars. Out of the box the brakes and shifting were well adjusted and did not require any touch up. When the bike arrived, the rear tire was flat.
I pumped it up and it went soft within a couple of hours. I tried shaking the tire around to get the sealant to fill in and did a short ride. Still went soft. I contacted Backcountry and they sent me some sealant and a valve remover tool.
After adding an additional 2oz of sealant and shaking the wheel every which way, I finally got it to seal and it’s been fine since. The Bike: First off, the bike in a size XL weighed 21lbs, 10oz without pedals or accessories.
I thought that was decent at this price point. The Shimano GRX group is awesome. Shifting is very crisp and reliable. This is my first experience with hydraulic disc brakes so I can’t compare to others, but to me they work well; good modulation and not grabby.
The bike has a long wheelbase so it feels very stable even when you are sliding around a bit on gravel. The bike inspires confidence when cornering. A couple of nits: the bottle cages are mounted very low on the frame.
Maybe that is normal for gravel bikes but I found it to be a long reach. The Shimano brake levers can be quite slippery. If your fingers are wet/sweaty this could be an issue. The Riddler tires worked fine for me under road and gravel conditions, but they are quite noisy on the road.
You do lose a bit of speed on the road compared to a full road bike, but it’s not a huge difference. Normally, I find the saddles that come with a bike to be throwaways. I decided to give the Silverado saddle a try since the shape is quite similar to the saddle I use now.
The saddle has dense foam and feels a bit hard at first. After a couple of 25 mile rides I like the saddle and plan to keep it. The swept back handlebar works well and adds comfort. Overall, I think this is a good value for $2k.
It has a decent frame and fork and a very good components spec.
This bike was my first “real bike” and there are some features I love. The handlebars and really comfortable, it’s pretty light for a bike if it’s size, love the look of it, and it really can get up to some high speeds.
However, purchasing it online and trying to assemble it myself was a little past my pay grade. I had to take it to a bike mechanic. After being ridden for a while the brakes are still squeaky and a bit slow but I assume that will improve over time with the disc brakes.
My biggest gripe with the bike is the gearshift. It often gets stuck in a gear so I essentially have to ride it constantly in a low gear as if it was a single speed to avoid ending up stuck in a high gear on a climb.
Don’t regret buying it and I really do like the bike, but it definitely isn’t perfect.
I purchased this bike a month ago after researching gravel bikes. I is a quality bike, carbon fiber fork and quality components for the reasonable price point. This was one of the models I’d read reviews on and was considering.
As I checked out the stock at the Moosejaw store I saw this one, in my size sitting on the rack. The bike expert and I talked through the bike’s quality components and then I took it out for a test. The bike performed well and has since done great on my gravel road (no joke).
Smooth shifting and braking. Quite light to move around and get on/off my car rack and home rack. I plan to enjoy it for years to come!.
The Electra Loft 7D is the perfect bike for cruising around in style, from the park to the brewery and everywhere in between. The classic looking frame design is something you’d expect to see zipping along the canals of Amsterdam.

Based on our research and review, the best comfort bike for seniors is the Schwinn Discover Hybrid Bike. It’s a great choice for those looking for a bike that is comfortable to ride, but also has features that make it easy to get on and off of.
Additionally, the Schwinn Discover has a suspension system that makes it ideal for those who want a smooth ride.
