This would have gotten a 5 star if it did not come as used. The bag the screws came in was cut open as well as the pads that goes underneath the clamps and the other plastic coverings were open. It also came in the color white.
There is nothing on this page that I saw that say it comes in different colors. I wanted the black one as shown. I have an immediate need for this since I’m working from home. I do not want to go through the hassle of sending it back, so I’m going to keep the white one.
The assembly is really easy. Love that it holds both the keyboard and mouse. The glide on it is very smooth/ good quality. This will definitely help with the pain in my wrist from typing on top of my desk.
The world is moving towards a more ergonomic working environment for great reasons! This keyboard and mouse tray is adjustable and features a gel wrist pad that will allow you to work in a comfortable, healthy position.

First, the positive – the tray was pretty much everything I expected – fairly easy to assemble and mount under my desk; the toughest part was making sure the morning nt was installed squarely, but having the right tools to do the job really helped.
My advice would be to make sure you have a T-square handy to help in the alignment. In use, the platform is fairly stable when in use, and pretty versatile in terms of how it can be placed for use. Personally, I like having it up on the edge of the desk, slightly inclined while using it.
My Logitech Orin 810 keyboard fits with plenty of space , although not quite enough to place my mousepad/mouse alongside. This probably works to its advantage, as the platform has a little bit of lateral instability that might make the user experience a little less satisfactory anyway.
With the keyboard centered on the platform, however, it makes for a pleasant user experience for me. I would suggest to Mount It! That a wider mounting plate for the platform might improve that stability somewhat.
Now, the negative – Other than the slight lateral instability (which doesn’t affect use much while using a keyboard that is centered on the platform), I really have nothing bad to say about the sliding platform.
My negative remarks really say more about the delivery experience. As you can see in the photos, the unit arrived in its original box, which was partially crushed, with a gaping hole on the side. Luckily, because of the way that the product was packed and where the damage was incurred, the parts in the box were not damaged, nor was the parts bag inside lost (it was small enough that it could have been).
They did a bang up job taped my it up, but holy cow – in any other spot on the box, I could have wound up with a damaged product. I’m sorry to have to give this product 3 stars – were it for the product alone, it could easily garner 4-4 1/2 stars on the merits of the product.
but, if Mount It! Want to continue relying seller my their product, they need to be aware of the risks involved.
The metal parts of this keyboard tray and the shelf are well made. The slide is also made well (design is like a rack sslide and uses ball bearings). The pieces I had trouble with were the threaded holes for the bolts that mounts to the slide.
The holes were easily cross threaded and I had to drill 2 out and put nuts on the backs. The other problem was the use of threaded screws for pivoting up and down. This leaves a lot of play in the tray even when the knob is tight.
I drilled those holes out to 1/4” and put a 1/4 shaft in their place. Much better. I have no issues with how far it is below the desk. It cleared my knees easily.
Was working great for the first few weeks, then it stopped holding the tray’s vertical position, no matter how tightly I turned the knob. I’ve tried adjusting the other screws in the mount lever arms, but that’s only served to make it more difficult to raise the tray and does nothing to keep the tray from lowering immediately after it’s raised.
Incredibly disappointed, especially compared to the other Mount-It products I’ve tried.
Mount this tray to your desk to enjoy a comfortable typing and mousing experience. The tray’s integrated wrist rest helps keep your hands at the ideal typing position, while the built-in mouse pad lets you navigate your PC easily.
Made of plastic for durability and a light weight. Measures 20-1/2 inch wide to accommodate your keyboard and mouse. A 7 inch x 9-1/4 inch mouse pad is built in, so you can easily navigate your computer with ease.
Tray slides on a track, so you can pull out your keyboard and mouse when you need it and tuck it securely away when you don’t. Capable of rotating 90 to suit your workspace. Tilts up to 15 for a comfortable typing experience.
Integrated wrist rest helps you maintain a proper typing position. Comes with mounting hardware.
It is exactly what I expected. I was not going to use the mouse pad anyway, but if I did, there is an issue that if you need to swing it under the key pad to make room to push the key pad under the desk, it unscrews itself.
No biggy for me as I did not use it but others may have an issue with it. So far it is sturdy and very well made. To avoid future issues I sprayed the slide area with a little silicon spray; not required, just a little precaution so I do not push to hard and loosen the screws which go into flake board, not the best at holding screws.
I also appreciate the email notification when it became available. I ordered it the same day of the notification and it was shipped in the promised time period. 5 stars.
The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because there are no written instructions at all. its completely diagrams. However im pretty food at putting things like this together. if only took 30 mins.
i cant wait to use it. i purchased a small L shaped desk and this tray was a great addition to help for my correct posture in a small space.
It is as it is described. The only negative is the mouse pad; if you turn it to position or to put the keyboard under the desk, the mouse pad that is attached starts unscrewing. Doesn’t bother me as I probably would not use it.
I bought it because it fits the smaller space under my unconventional desk arrangement set up at home due to Covid.

This is my 3rd one of these trays. I’ve had to leave them behind at workplaces when changing jobs. Now I’m working at home and can keep my tray. I am one of those people who tilts my keyboard tray at a different angle than my mouse.
This tray allows for that, having a separate mousing platform. I’m also short and can now sit with my feet on the floor and not have to crank my hands to reach the keyboard. It’s the best of both worlds.
Started a new at home position and purchased a new desk for home use. The height of the desk was not comfortable for keyboard position to chair height and I needed to get a keyboard tray for comfort and focus.
I looked at some trays for less money yet wanted to make sure the tray was fully adjustable and sturdy. This 3M one fit the bill, the heavy duty metal slide with ample bolting, the adjustable keypad, adjustable both in angle and height with separate mouse pad adjustments for angle and height also.
The adjustment levers take a couple times using to fully grasp how to adjust, yet once you figure it out it is quite genius and works well for me.
this is an awesome tray for a keyboard, it adjusts up and down and tilts, and the mouse pad adjusts SEPARATE from the keyboard which is a game changer for me. I use a trackball mouse and love having it at the perfect height now.
this was a great purchase and well worth the extra cost from low end keyboards. it was a little tricky to install as the track is heavy so it’s hard to hold it in place and decide where to put it. but otherwise it was a snap to install once we figured out where the track should be.

The keyboard drawer description, the specifications and the installation instructions are totally inadequate and inaccurate. I am a licensed architect and I certainly know how to read plans, but the installation diagram leaves it to the imagination of the purchaser to put the bloody thing together.
It’s basically a paper template with arrows pointing up. But to where we may ask? It shows places to drill holes too, but you have to fumble around with the template to fold and bend the arrows up on the front of your desk.
If they had printed the words”install at front” it would have saved a lot of energy. The problem, you see, is the fact that the template is made to look like it should sit at the back of the drawer, which is shown as a black rectangle without corners on the diagram.
I called my colleague over (also an architect) and he noted that this was “the pits” and the worst instructions he had ever seen in his life. Lastly, the dimensions listed in the specifications don’t include the fixed section of the slides projecting another two inches behind the drawer back.
Since the thing was two inches longer than described it hit the crossbar on the underside of my desk rendering the drawer un-usable. I put it back in the box and am returning it to the store. Disgusted!.
This is my third purchase of one of these keyboard drawers. I’ve had one installed at each computer station in my office. My staff and I find them to be the most comfortable fit of all the various drawers we’ve tried.
Other brands have broken after a few month’s use and some have jammed, but we’ve not had any problems with this brand. In my area, this drawer is no longer carried in the store, so I have ordered them online.
Delivery was fast and easy, however, so it hasn’t been an inconvenience. While some might think $65. 00 is a high price for a keyboard drawer, I can attest that there are other brands and models out there that are far more expensive.
For durability, ease of installation, and being ergonomically practical, I’d definitely purchase this product again in the future if necessary.
The arm unit is sturdy and moves to nearly every position you could possibly need. The mouse tray seems a bit flexible. If you have heavy handed people using it, it could be a problem. The keyboard base is sturdy and seems to be holding up well.
This is a great product if you are needing to use it occasionally and then it can be tucked away. If you are planning on using it everyday, all day, you may have issues with the mouse tray. It seems flexible but ours has not broken and still slides in and out easily.
We purchased the first one and it works so well for us that we purchased a second to make more improvements to our work stations.
Arm is being used with a laptop. Arm is stable and works much better than previous non-Ergotron arm. This arm is much smaller than the Ergotron arm I use with a keyboard for a desktop computer. The advantage is that the arm takes less space without sacrificing stability.
I am pleased with the price-performance ratio of the product.
With its available extension and under $250 price tag, this product is hard to beat. After searching online for months, I finally found this item. It was not only the best price with the best features, it was avaiilable with free shipping to the store in my area.
Although you will find it for just under $200 on sites like Amazon, the shipping will make it cost more than Walmart. With the added luxury of a generous 90 day return policy, what do you have to lose? It is astonishing to me that you are not ordering this product right now.

I needed to add to my wall desk a means to handle the keyboard to my dual screen Dell desk top computer. I thought it should be easy to install so I started on the project, but it was much more difficult than a retired accountant could easily handle.
But being from Brooklyn I understood adversity and finally got it installed. I wish there more directions on how to do it and suggestions on how to get the holes drilled in the right places. Yes its in, but its off by about a quarter of an inch.
The problem was the placing of full sheet of directions with hole punches indicated and then working cramped under a desk and drilling upside down. I wish there had been two railings to install to which one could then attach the drawer.
I have no easy solution except to tell myself to have it all installed as the desk was being assembled and not after it had been up for about two years.
I am not sure if I can say that this drawer is over or under-engineered. The design allows mousepad to collapse, which makes the mousepad to be flexible, and at lower and back position from the keyboard making sure that you have to lean and hunch over to reach the mouse.
If this was just one piece wide enough to accommodate for the mouse on the same level next to the keyboard, it would have been perfect, instead I get a keyboard drawer with flexible mousepad that is literally at the different level than the keyboard.
I would not recommend it to anyone who had to do any kind of serious work on their computer that requires use of the mouse (CAD design for example).
I’m happier with it than without it. It does help you stay ergonomically correct throughout the day. The directions to install could be clearer. You have to deduce too much and depend on experience to get through it.
But if you have that, it’s not too bad. For the money it should be easier to adjust the height but once you have the right height it’s good. The mouse pad takes a little getting used to because it’s a little too forward towards the monitor, It should be closer to the body or the chair.

Just what I needed. The top matches my desk perfectly, its as if the tray came with the desk itself. Incredibly easy to install, just make sure you have a drill, of course. My only complaint is that it has no locking mechanism and that is doesn’t pull out all the way.
However, it never claimed to do either of these things so it is not worth reducing stars over, and its an easy adjustment to buy some cheap slides and replace the slides that come with this one. It extends out about 8 inches from its original position.
The slide itself is about 14 inches and the total height is about 3. 75 inches. Its very good for the price! Super stable and helps the ergonomics of my desk setup, which is always a good thing. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a keyboard tray!.
Lorell Cherry Laminate Keyboard Tray – 25. 6″ Width x 15. 1″ Depth – Cherry Keyboard tray can be easily attached to desks in the Lorell Essential Series and most other desks. Tray slides under the desk and out so you can type comfortably in your work area.
Tray features a durable, melamine laminate surface.
I bought this tray because I needed a second keyboard I wanted kept out of the way when not using it. It has an adjustable height, so it can accommodate various keyboard heights. Minimum height appears to be about 2”, from bottom of desk to bottom of tray which is not obtrusive.
It is frustrating to install unless you have more than a couple of inches or more clearance on both sides of the tray. It’s wide which was awkward to install on one side next to some drawers. Other than that, it works well and feels stable.
What might help on installation is to have a longer drill screwdriver bit than I did.
While working from home I decided I would like a keyboard tray to make my work situation more ergonomic. I ordered it online on Friday. It was delivered on Saturday! I was expecting it on a Monday, since it said 2 business day delivery.
We had it installed before I started work on Monday. It fits my regular sized keyboard, mouse pad and mouse. The slides are very smooth and quiet. I am very happy with this purchase.
Symple Stuff Metal housing supports CRT or LCD monitors up to 21” or 80 lbs. Raises monitor 3-1/2” off desktop. High-impact plastic keyboard tray with cutouts for holding small supplies. Nonskid rubber feet won’t mar surfaces.
I love this keyboard drawer. It solved quite a problem I had when I moved to small apartment. I have a laptop and wanted to use my old IBM keyboard from 1992. But it’s a big (wide) and heavy keyboard which is :(19″W x 8.
25″Dx1. 5″H). This keyboard drawer even has room to spare holding it! I got a connector to my laptop to recognize the old keyboard but then I needed a keyboard drawer to hold it and hold my laptop which would fit on my stand.
It’s been fabulous. The quality is great. The drawer slides out very nicely and back in. It’s sturdy and opens in the back for the keyboard cord to exit and come around to plug into the USB port of the laptop.
I looked around a long time for this and I’m so glad I found it. It is very sturdy (top is metal, drawer is plastic with metal slides) and the price was great.
I had problems with the cats trying to sleep on the keyboard. This has solved my problem. The keyboard tray slides in and out very smoothly and there is plenty of room for my mouse and mouse pad Along with the monitor on top.

I bought this keyboard tray to replace an old VersaDesk tray on my rickety old desk from Walm***. My husband has Parkinson’s and falls a lot and when he fell on the VersaDesk tray, that was the end of it.
I wanted a replacement that would slide completely under my desk when not in use. This Uplift tray was the ticket. Eas;y to install on my non-Uplift desk and the sliding mechanism is longer than the VersaDesk so the tray is completely protected now.
I like that the tray is so thin and it’s great that the wrist pad is built in and fixed to the tray – keeps things from sliding off the tray, which was a problem with my old VersaDesk. Great tray and the price was very reasonable for the quality you get.
It’s all as described so no complaints there. It’s not as smooth and solid as I would have hoped given the quality of the desk/hardware itself. Overall I regret the purchase of the keyboard tray – primarily because for me it takes up too much space.
If I remove the spacer, which would help, it would force it to be too far forward sticking out from under the front of the desk. Sitting down using tray, the desk it like chest high and monitor even further (despite adjusting arm position).
It’s fine, but wouldn’t buy again. Wish it could’ve have been a bit more. sexy and sleek I guess, less obtrusive (despite being the “ultra thin”). Friction for sliding back and forth is a bummer too, feels a bit raw.
Some smooth bearing wheels or something might have been nice. Will probably end up leaving it pushed to the side and continue with Keyboard on desktop. Expensive Bummer. I’m wishing I spent some time exploring alternatives, most tend to come it at 1/3rd the price anyway.
Just consider your spacing and sit/stand position overall and try to imagine this thing in your lap as you do.
SUMMARY: A keyboard tray that can fit almost any keyboard with room to spare. I installed this tray with a 21″ track spacer under a 24″ depth desk with the Quick Adjust setup. It’s a great setup with some minor gripes that are not deal breakers, but worth noting.
PROS + Ample room + Easy to adjust and move mousepad or grips + Works well and stays stable while using. + Great customization options. CONS – When you tilt at a positive angle, it’s likely your mouse or trackpad will slip off the tray, or slide forward.
– It’s huge. I wish there were a more compact version of this tray (the Switch isn’t quite it) for smaller keyboard and mouse combos. On the 24″ depth desk, this tray is more noticeable. – I wish it came in a bamboo treatment.
The tray positions your keyboard and mouse lower and closer to your body, allowing you to adopt and maintain a neutral working posture. Moving and adjusting the under desk keyboard tray is a breeze. Simply turn the knob to adjust the tilt angle (negative, neutral or positive position).
Re-tighten the knob to lock the position. Ensure the bottom of your desk has adequate space for the track.
I purchased this keyboard tray about six months ago, and it was easy to install. Unfortunately, it will not stay in place! I have to attempt to tighten the main knob continuously, but it will not remain in place.
The movement is extremely frustrating and makes it unusable.
Like it – don’t love it. I wish it came out past my desk so that I could lift it up higher. It doesn’t allow for lifting as high as the desk, or higher than the desk. The way that it is mounted requires that you cannot pull it out far enough to raise it higher than the bottom of the top of the desk.
If you rest the weight of your arms on your keyboard it will tend to lower under the weight.
The world is moving towards a more ergonomic working environment for all of the right reasons! This keyboard and mouse tray features a gel wrist pad and can be raised or lowered to suit your needs. Easy tilt and swivel function allow you to work in a more comfortable, healthy position.
Doing so will help prevent workplace injuries that can occur from repetitive strain actions. Adjusting this keyboard tray is a breeze, so you can get back to working on the important stuff.
Fairly easy to install, although the instructions could have been a little more detailed. Works great to adjust my keyboard to the right height for my desk. Also moves side to side, and slides underneath the desk our of the way.
MI-7263 monitor stand elevates the monitor to help prevent neck and eye strain for the user. Elevating the monitor creates a greater ergonomic position for the user and creates more work space. The elevated monitor allows for underneath storage that can be used for multiple devices such as printers, gaming consoles, and other peripherals.
I’m using this as a transparent cover for my keyboard, so my cat can’t walk on it and randomly press keys. It really works quite well for this. I can see the keys to make sure I’m pressing the correct ones, and there’s just enough clearance that my fingers can move freely over the keyboard.
Best of all, the kitty can walk on the monitor stand, to get from one side of my desk to the other, without pressing the keys and causing havoc on my computer.
I bought this keyboard tray two weeks ago for more desk space. But from day one the keyboard tray will not stay in place while typing. I have to hold it with tape on the side to keep it from sliding back while I am keying in customers info.
And when done typing I have to pull off one end of the tape in order to get up from my desk.
Free up desk space with MI-7136 and store your keyboard and mouse below your desk. The keyboard drawer offers ample keyboard and mouse space and stows away when not in use. The dedicated mouse platform can be installed on either the right or left side of the keyboard platform.
Slides out easily with smooth steel ball-bearing glide tracks. The 3 different height levels help you position it ergonomically. Sliding clamp securely locks your keyboard in place.

Overall the desk tray suits my needs really well!! It swivels easily, is the perfect size, look great, and fits my hands nicely. A few critiques though about the set up process and once installed. Set up: 1) I found the way the trackspacer directions interacted with the regular desk set up to be confusing — particularly the naming of the screws and which screws came with which set.
2) I bought the trackspacer because I have a standing desk and needed it to get over the bar in the middle. This may have seemed obvious to others but by having the trackspacer, this also substantially lowered the tray.
So now the trey comes out maybe 6” below the desk. This is an awkward height to have the desk vis-a-vis the keyboard. If i didn’t have a standing desk that was adjustable, I’d have to adjust my chair and that’d cause it’s own issues.
This should be made clearer. 3) the final touches of installation — putting the heads on the protruding screws — weren’t smooth processes. a lot of the protector knobs (apologies for not knowing the right terminology) have since fallen off, and the space is just very tight.
Once installed – my trey wobbles. not dramatically but if i put my hands on either side of the tray and press or pull the trey jiggles. It seems like the arm isn’t as securely attached as it should be.
All my screws are tightly in place — I ended up using a drill in part because i couldn’t tighten them enough by hand. This means it isn’t as stable as i’d like. For context, I’m not someone with any technical background.
I don’t do engineering/installation projects around the home. But I’m also pretty good at following directions and figuring out how things go together, and I found the process much less intuitive than I thought.
Clearer instruction videos would be helpful or something to show the process from beginning to end. With all that said, it is a very comfortable trey (if lower than I want bc of the trackspacer). I’m also not sure what the cubby part is supposed to be used for.
First things first. The bamboo is really nice. My main issue with the system is how much space it takes under the table. Forget about trying to fit your knees under the desk, unless you really open up your legs to straddle the giant arm that connects to the table.
I find myself having to sit far from the tray and desk just so I can sit normally but then my shoulders and arms are floating up in the air, making my neck and back hurt, which was the reason I wanted to get an ergonomic tray system in the first place.
They should really be clear with pictures and specs on the website on how much it protrudes. Coupled with the price, it was really disappointing. I love my Uplift desk. I wish this tray system would be as thought out as the desk.
Also, before I forget, the wrist pad is really high, but I also realize my keyboard has a low profile, so that one is on me.
Don’t buy this if you are thinking you want something that matches your bamboo Uplift desk. It’s an entirely different finish and looks more yellow than my desk. I’m regretting my decision and wish I’d just gotten the black one (or a different keyboard tray altogether for the reasons below).
This was a pain to install. They say pilot holes are optional, but good luck getting any of the screws in without them. Also don’t drill all the pilot holes at the same time like it recommends. You will regret it when your screws don’t go in straight.
The tray will not push anywhere close to all the way in with the shorter track, and if you have an Uplift desk the only way to use the longer track is to buy the optional track spacer, which mounts the keyboard tray lower.
I didn’t want my desktop to have to be that high, so that was a dealbreaker. What this really needs is a 16” track, so the track goes to the crossbar. You can swivel the tray out of the way, which is great, but if you position the tray fairly high (as I do) it bumps into the crossbar and won’t go all the way under without adjusting it.
Also, when you mount it, don’t make the same mistake I did and mount it central to where you sit — think about where the keyboard sits on the tray. Overall, it’s worth it because of my carpal tunnel, but I wish it was designed to go better with the desk.

The drawer is great and has pretty good installation instructions. Only problem is if you are installing it yourself, it is not easy to place the brackets correctly. Would be very helpful if a template were included so you could pre-drill the holes properly before you try to screw in the brackets.
Working upside down alone trying to hold the drawer in place to figure out where the brackets need to be installed is very hard to do. Mine came out a bit twisted – it works, but is not totally aligned or straight.
This isn’t a huge problem for me as I really wanted to use it to safely store my laptop when I am not using it instead of actually as a keyboard drawer. But if you wanted to use is as an actual keyboard drawer, having it straight aligned to the edge of your desk would be much more important – and would be far easier to do if there were a template.
That’s why I give it 4 instead of 5 stars. Probably would be easier if you have a second pair of hands to help hold it in place as you crawl under the desk positioning it where you want it.
I have owned this Hon black steel desk with 4 drawers for over 30 years. It never had a center drawer. Well with a laptop on top center, a 19″ monitor to my left and a full sized desktop to my right there is no room for a keyboard.
I saw this underdesk drawer at Walmart Online. It looked perfect for what I wanted. In other words. pretty, functional and cheap! The only thing that bugged me was the extremely poor instructions. Well one has to take their time and figure how to assemble it.
Mainly the nuts attach to the outside of the drawer slides. In my case, the whole drawer assembly would not fit under my desk. It was so tight that there was no room for the underdesk L mounting brackets and the exposed bolts on the left and right side of the slides.
So I drilled holes on each side of my desk and directly bolted the slides. I used the underdesk L brackets as a template for marking the holes. Otherwise I would have to return the drawer back to Walmart.
It came out better than I had expected. It looks custom built. Also I didn’t know that one can go to their local Walmart and order online there. KOOL! My friendly associate walk me through the whole process.
Don’t let the price fool you. The drawer looks good not like cheap scrap plastic. I’m very happy!.
This is my third. The first was cream colored and purchased a few years ago. It became discolored and the plastic cracked at the front, and it didn’t open all that smoothly, but it worked. I replaced it with a black one about 18 months ago.
That one worked fine at first but began to bind and about two weeks ago one of the side rail’s bearings mis-aligned and that rail would not retract more than a few inches. I installed the tray #3 two days ago.
It works great and is retracts very smoothly. On both trays #2 and #3 I installed a 5″ strip of 3/4″ wood on the top and bottom of the front of the tray, bolted with the tray between the two strips of wood, to reinforce the front.
I did that to tray #2 and #3, to ensure that the tray would not crack. I put a piece of “non skid” drawer liner beneath the keyboard so the keyboard doesn’t slide within the tray. I’m happy.

I bought the 7137 before this one and it took me two hours to put it together. When I got to putting the keyboard tray onto the rollers, the screw holes didn’t like up and I had to send it back. I ordered this one and it took me 5 minutes to put in four screws and I was done! Very sturdy tray and just the right height.
Keyboard and mouse fit comfortably. Only reason I didn’t give it a five is because the rollers are plastic and don’t move as smoothly as the metal ones. But it’s perfect for what I need.
This keyboard tray is exactly what I needed to avoid drilling holes in my desk. The 3-step instructions are on the box. It took me about 15 minutes to mount it on my desk (had to find the right screwdriver).
The tray height is perfect if you are concerned about ergonomics. It is sturdy, durable and holds a standard keyboard and mouse with plenty of room to spare. Nice that shipping was free and fast delivery.
