20 Best Cheap Jeans For Guys (2023 Updated)

The jeans have a nice fit however the material is so-so. After 2 months or wearing in the office the material does appear to be durable but, it does stretch out a fair amount (especially in the waste).

Additionally, the belt loops are a little flimsy and also stretch out – the belt loops would be better if they were twice as wide or thick. I would recommend going with the Big and Tall as it gives extra space in the inseam and seat.

I am 6’4, 250lbs (athletic build) and the 40W/36L fit well (could have probably gone with the 38W as the waste did stretch. I would like to see the pants in additional colours (grey, or khaki).

Waist fits quite snug to size. After wearing a while, the pants stretch out significantly. Not realizing this, my spouse selected the next waist size larger in order to do up the pants. After wearing the pants a while, the pants are almost too large.

Looking back we should’ve tried the smaller size – but were not prepared for the risk if they did not stretch to fit. As well, the cut indicates tapered leg but this is not comparable to the same Jean in dark wash.

These tapered leg pants seem more straight cut and when they stretch out they seem baggy.

These are excellent quality, high end denim material, and have amazing stretch. They run on the small end however I will let you know that I am female and was buying these men’s jeans to cut and fray into shorts for myself— I wanted inexpensive.

I bought a waist 32 and ordinarily I would wear a 29 or 30 in women’s denim. The dark wash did not fate and did not shrink. Seriouslyay buy a pair to wear as regular blue jeans. I like $$$ good american and mother brand which run 200 dollars in Nordstrom!!! I did really well with the george brand and I’m not afraid to boast about my cheaply priced purchase!!! 100 % win for me.

I ordered these jeans online. A black and light wash. Size 29. I love that they are rigid and 100% cotton. However, when I tried them on, the fit was not the same. The black fit well while the light wash was bigger on the waist.

The length of the inseam of the black jeans was different too. The left leg was longer by an inch than the right leg. I love the material but I was disappointed by the size/labeling and inconsistent inseam.

I’m not one for dressing up so I wear these jeans every day, at home and at work and I have been doing so for nearly 30 years now. I read many reviews that said these jeans had changed in recent years and many were not happy with them but I don’t have any issue with them, in fact I think they have improved.

The cut does seem to have changed slightly, but to me the fit is still just as comfortable as it has always been. I read complaints about the side pockets on the right leg being smaller than before so not being as useful as they used to be, but the jeans I received in my recent orders have pockets that are actually a bit larger than they used to be.

I never used to be able to fit my cell phone (Samsung S20 5G with a hard shell Otterbox case) in either of the two pockets but now it fits in both perfectly. This small expansion of those pockets has made them even more useful for carrying tools like pliers, utility knives, screwdrivers, etc.

when I’m doing handy work around the house as well. They have also added an additional pocket on the left leg under the hammer loop as well. That pocket also fits my cell phone and other items perfectly.

The smaller, tighter fit of those pockets was my only complaint about these jeans before, but not anymore. The pockets are perfect now. The pocket on the left leg was something friends and I used to say would be an excellent addition and it’s great to see Wrangler took the feedback/suggestion and added it.

I was hesitant to order new jeans after reading the comments/reviews from others wondering if my long time favorite jeans would be a disappointment, but so glad I went ahead and got them anyway as they have turned out to be better than ever.

Very pleased with them and will be ordering more very soon as the older pairs I have have lasted well over 10 years but are finally needing to be replaced. If you like relaxed fit carpenter jeans, get these, they are fantastic.

Seems these are the jeans I always loved. This style of Wrangler jean has always been my go-to jean. For me – WAY better than Levi, Lee, or other jeans. Loved the fit, feel, deep pockets, quality fabric, hardware, etc.

Then, I saw changes, as did a lot of other people according to reviews. Comments were that the material was lighter weight, back pockets smaller, front pockets shallower, watch pocket smaller, crotches tighter, waist fit lower to comply with new style trends, etc.

This concerned me to the point I started checking out local inventory, trying them on. Yes, it did seem they had changed them – a lot probably having to do with they were being manufactured in a lot of different places.

It appeared that what you ended up with depended on what country they were made in, probably what factory. So for 5 years I was afraid to buy these jeans. Finally, I decided if I made sure I only ordered the 96501DS, maybe they might have gone back to the old reliable standard great jean they were before.

Well – good news folks! The jeans I received had all the attributes of the old jeans. I’m extremely happy that I have my old jeans back!.

While I have had great coverage wtih jackets and upper body wear, the jeans I prefer to use have been quite inadequate to keep my legs war. These Wrangler insulated denims seem to be a perfect balance.

The denim weight is heavy; these are not lightweight pants. The Dupont Thinsulate layer is finished with a fleece lining, allowing good mobility and bending while still keeping heat in and cold out. While I haven’t used them yet this season, they appear to be just what the doctor ordered to avoid having to see the doctor for pneumonia.

Very happy with this purchase and feel the price was quite fair for this product.

Compared to the Loose-Fit same branded jeans, the Relaxed-Fit has an entirely shorter inseam which affects anyone large boxer wearing guy. I am just not able to get these jeans high enough on my waist without a front sacrifice.

Factor in a larger behind and well these jeans immediately throw me back in the late 90s early 2000s with sagging rear ends. This time, unintentionally! This stretch fabric is very nice and feels luxurious.

The black jeans are just the perfect fit. The waist is comfortable and the inseam hits perfectly. Now that I have retired, I will wear the jeans to go out or even to do some chores around the house. The only issue I had with the jeans is that they were shipped to my house.

Button fly fits small . Normally wear 30L in skinny stretch. Was not paying attention to details but waist fit small. Really like dope jeans maybe more with less acid wash or paint marks

These jeans are very comfortable. Due to the Lycra they have plenty of “give” without any “bagginess. ” The straight legs look great without feeling too tight. There is extra “give” in the waist, so if you have a little extra in the midsection you probably won’t need to size up, but if you have heavy thighs these might not be the jeans for you.

The length is slightly longer than I expected, but the bottom cuffs of the jeans sit nicely on my shoes and I’m very happy with the length. These jeans are a fairly dark blue in color, and wearing them left a slight blue discoloration on the (tan) seat of of my car, so I recommend washing these before wearing.

They come out of the washer and dryer looking good, with minimal wrinkling that disappears promptly when you wear the jeans. I think these jeans would be a bargain at twice the price.

We’ve bought the relaxed fit Member’s Mark jeans for 20 years as work pants for my husband in his woodshop. While these stretch jeans are good for leisure, they are not as good for work. They fit too closely for lots of bending and squatting all day, and the material is not as substantial as the 100% cotton ones.

It looks like Sam’s may be discontinuing the relaxed fit jeans, which is a great disappointment to us, as it is one of the primary items that has kept us coming back year after year.

They’re not the odd tapered skinny jeans that have gotten popular in big mens size that can be very unflattering. These are a relaxed, straight, loose fit, without being baggy. They’re very flattering on big men.

Every single color of these jeans is an exceptional and comfy fit. My husband has large legs, needs “additional rise in the pants for comfort”, and has a bigger rear. These are the first jeans he has worn that he never wanted to take off.

These are my favorite jeans for work in my lawn and landscape maintenance business, so you know they take a lot of wear and tear. I have been buying these same jeans every year, for many years, and really like them.

Good fit, a bit loose, which I like, and good durability, at a reasonable price. I was a bit concerned with my recent order though when I looked at the product picture and it looked like they reverted to the narrow coin/watch pocket of a couple years ago, which I did not like at all because it was so small it was difficult to put anything in or take out.

I keep my riding mower key in there. But when I received the jeans I was happy to see they still had the larger coin/watch pocket. Thank you, Wrangler! Please always keep it that way, as I plan on buying more again next year.

Not quite what I expected from the Levi’s brand. Color is true, but fit is off. Granted, the cut selection is my fault alone. Shouldn’t dissuade others from purchasing.

I purchased two pair of the relaxed fit Architect jeans, which fit in the store; took them home, washed and ironed them, and wore a pair for a couple of days. After nearly losing my wallet twice I measured the back pockets and compared to an older pair of Levi’s relaxed fit same size.

The Architect jeans pockets are a full 1″ wider, so wide in fact that the pockets gape open at the top – see the photo from the ad! I used a sewing machine with the same goldish thread and closed the top with an angular line of thread, so that fixed that.

However, also be advised that the front pockets are made from the most flimsy fabric I ever found in a pair of jeans, which will no doubt wear through at some point with a loss of keys, money, etc. Big name jean companies can charge more because the quality of their product is superior, long lasting, and fits.

I will say that the Architect jeans are super comfortable to wear, but the down sides are reasons not to buy these again. Boskov’s was notified by email and should contact the manufacturer directly since I couldn’t get to them via email myself.

The pair of Levi’s I compared these Architect to are at least 10-years old, pockets are right-sized and not flimsy, less comfortable I agree, however totally reliable. You pay your nickel and take your chances.

I ordered 2 pairs of 30 x 30 black jeans. What arrived was one pair of 30 x 30 and one pair 36 x 30. My son said the tag was hard to read- so I can see how this mistake was made. I am going to see if another family member can wear them and if so re order.

good quality jeans for a good price. I usually wear Levis 511s. These are just as good in quality. The leg opening at the ankle is exactly what i wanted. The denim is a bit rough at first because it is raw denim.

” NOT TRUE. You do need a printer. I took my package to UPS and WAS CHARGED to mail my return when they printed it. I have my receipt. I am so done with this store. What good are Tall sizes if everything falls apart during first wearing.

Bought new jeans for my Hubby. He’s the kind of guy that wears his jeans through rips and stains. I am handy with a needle and thread so he gets away with wearing his jeans longer than most. There was one work day where he ripped his worn jeans so bad that he had to duct tape them back together to finish his shift.

I’m really satisfied with these jeans. Overall the fit is perfect since I’m a slim guy. It’s not too tight or too loose. The length is perfect, just enough material to give you that right stacked look, of course that depends on the size you select.

The material is not overly rigid and allows for easy movement. The color is spot on and very even throughout. What more can I say. OldNavy delivers!!!.

Nice jeans but they are loose fit and I prefer a tighter. I’m a size 8-10. I ordered a 10 in these and they fit ok, not sure an 8 would have been comfy but jeans do tend to give after a few wears so maybe the 8 would have been better and not as baggy.

Either way I don’t like the jeans enough to order the 8. They’re pretty average so my hunt for perfect mom jeans continue!!!! Light denim colour, gives the jeans a vintage look which I quite liked. Button fastening are not my favourite which these had.

This was my 3rd size attempt. I’m normally an 18 so had initially tried that plus a 20, but neither fit. After reading loads of reviews, I decided to size up again hoping they’d fit like an 18, but they were actually quite big.

Big to the point that the bunched a lot at the crotch and were very unflattering. The denim is fantastic, and so hard to find these days as all women’s jeans now seem to be jeggings, but the cut and sizing are just way off.

Way way way off. It’s honestly pretty ridiculous and super disappointing.

If these wouldn’t look good on me I would return them now. Pros: – very flattering, especially for hourglass or pear shaped people Cons: – sizing. Normally I size up for Divided items, I usually wear a 14 and it fits just fine.

After ordering a similar pair of black jeans in 14 which was too small I decided to order a 16 in these which fit like a 14 in the other colors. So for Divided items, size up once for colored jeans and twice for black ones.

I purchased these for my son. I would have gave this review a 5 star if they fit my 16yr old son whose 6ft slim guy, the size 34 didn’t fit at all. I received my package very fast. It took maybe a week if that.

I had to return all the jeans. I will reorder a size 36 once they are available.

As I’m retired – and disabled – I’m not big on walking around the house in a belt, jeans, boots, button-up shirt, etc. Yet, I’m not altogether wild about spending my life in sweat pants and tees either.

But these pants resolve that dilemma by allowing me the comfort of sweat pants, with the look of jeans and a lightweight belt. (Or none at all, should I choose so. ) The fit is near perfect. The color, likewise, They’re just heavy enough to be believable as jeans.

But lightweight enough you think you’re in sweat pants. I love them!.

The 2 pairs of Men’s Casual Joe® Stretch Waist Jeans with Drawstring that I purchased both had a strong gasoline odor when I first received them. That odor persisted even after several washings and wearings but eventually got fainter.

I reported the problem to customer service, but the problem was never resolved by the Haband customer service people to my satisfaction. I could have exchanged them, but I was reluctant to do so because I was afraid I would get other pairs in exchange that had the same strong odor.

After wearing the pants, I’ve come to like them as they are comfortable, but a faint odor of gasoline can still be detected. It’s my belief that the warehouse workers who packaged the pants to be shipped would have surely detected the strong gasoline odor, but they packaged and shipped the pants anyway.

After reading reviews I ordered three sizes of jeans. The size my husband usually wears were true to size and fit perfectly. I purchased the medium blue jeans with elastic on the sides. My husband has Parkinson’s and struggles with buttoning but the elastic allows him to pull them up easily.

Very happy with Haband. Very friendly and helpful when returning the ones that didn’t fit.

I’ve worn these pants for a lil while now and my biggest complaint would be that they’re high rise pants, meaning they don’t sit at the waist like most pants, they sit at or slightly below the belly button.

The reason this is a gripe for me is because the pants tend to slide down to my waist/above my hips even when my belt is synched tight which limits leg movement when walking and I normally have to pull the pants up in order to sling my leg over the bike.

They are skinny jeans even for a thin frame guy like myself they are pretty snug at the legs but manageable with the stretch material they used. They have a false selvedge strip at the ankles which is neat and the riding position is comfortable.

So my issues are more off the bike complaints than on. I really dig the accordion moto aesthetic and the overall design I wished they had some design on the back pockets like most jeans. These aren’t bad pants per say as more as they’re like a Mk1 design and I think Bull-it can improve upon them with minor tweaks.

If you like high rise pants that are skinny jeans then these are perfect, if you want more of a slim pant like Levi’s 511 these aren’t the ones.
