I was recommended this product by my provider for hyperpigmentation on my body. I used it on a continuous basis for over a year and did not see much difference in my hyperpigmentation, but it did leave my skin feeling soft and smooth.

I have very sensitive skin and it did not cause irritation nor breakouts. I liked that it was fragrance free and absorbed quickly into the skin, leaving no residue nor stickiness. However, I discontinued use because I noticed that my skin tone was starting to look blotchy.

I did some research and learned that glycolic acid can have adverse affects in regards to skin tone on persons with darker complexions (I would consider myself to have light-medium tone with neutral undertone), therefore, instead of lightening and evening out the skin tone, it could actually do the opposite.

I don’t know if this was the cause, but my skin tone has not gotten any blotchier since I discontinued. Also, the packaging is not the best – it can be difficult to dispense the lotion (need some hulk hands to squeeze it out).

I would recommend this product to those with light complexions and strong palms.

I do not remember how I discovered this lotion, as I have been purchasing it for some time now, but my entire adult life, the skin on my hands would crack and bleed, and no lotions would prevent it. I apply this lotion every two or three days at night, and it rejuvenates my skin and has completely stopped the cracking and bleeding.

I also use it a couple of days after shaving my legs to exfoliate and prevent ingrown hairs. The price is well worth it. It is very thick, and you do have to put some effort into getting it out of the bottle towards the end, but I would imagine you could find a pump if needed.

It’s not a big deal for me, though.

I have been using Alpha Enhanced Renewal Cream with 12% AHA for over 10 years. I am 48 years old and consistently get compliments on my skin. I have almost no deep wrinkles (maybe one on my forehead), good tone, and very smooth skin, as well as almost never have blemishes.

I purchased this lotion after reading many of the reviews on this site and I was expecting a very good quality product. Positives. Nice looking elegant bottle with a pump. Area of Improvement. Similar to the Swiss Performing Extract lotion, this too has very very strong scent.

Smells like a cheap soap. I was planning to gift this to my mother. Unfortunately I myself can’t tolerate the smell. I didn’t try using the lotion as I could not go past the smell. It smells like a cheap soap.

The smell is THAT strong. It makes my nose water in a few mins, which is probably an allergic reaction to the smell. Unfortunately, I have to return this item. I wish Estee Lauder would Not put such heavy soap perfume in it’s skin care products as it is a known irritant.

It’s the perfect lotion for me. I probably been using it for 40 years. I love love love the smell. I’ve try others through the years but always this is my favorite. At night I put a small amount on my face around my nose.

At that point it is beautifully calming to me and usually causes me to take a deep calming breath while on my way to bed. I don’t care for the perfume/cologne as much as I like the lotion.

As stated above, the lotion is thick so it’s work. Rather use a huge 20oz squeeze bottle or a jar.

Eventually I will convert him to something cheaper lol. But until then, if you’re a fan of light weight quick absorbing moisturizer with a STRONG scent. Then maybe get it?.

Reviewing the Gold Bond ultimate lotion Diabetes dry skin relief. I had dry flaky skin and anything I used (other than Vaseline) didn’t last long and my skin remained super dry. I happen to see this product and tried it after I got of of the shower and absolutely loved it.

My skin felt moisturized for a long time (not 24 hours as advertised). It wasn’t watery like a lot of lotion. If I had to come up with disadvantages it would be that the tube is no where near full or even 3/4 full.

It’s a bit pricey for the small amount you get. Knowing it’s specifically for diabetics who suffer from dry skin, manufacturers had to know it would be used all over body. I can probably get 3-4 full body applications out of one container.

I don’t only use it on my hands so again I’d appreciate it being full Another con is it’s usually hard to find in store I guess due to its popularity so you might want to order it in advance as opposed to trying to find it in the store.

This body cream feel wonderful on your skin. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave you with a greasy feeling. The scent is pretty mild and dissipates fairly quickly so you are left with just a mild trace of scent on your body.

What l like most is the body oil combats the rough dry spots ashy hands, elbows, knees, and feet. Feet l would not use on my feet l like the Vaseline stick for my feet and place socks on. Butta Drop Whipped Oil body cream works and l do not have a greasy residue feeling on my skin and some into the skin.

The shine is present when applying but not too much no one wants to look greasy but honest it’s a silky smooth feeling on the skin. The body cream Is whipped too perfection. The texture is a nice blend.

I have very dry skin on my arms and legs. Not sure if due to dehydration, hard water or age. I can get so dry a few hours even after applying lotions. My skin then gets super itchy & flaky to a point of bleeding sometimes.

I’ve tried every lotion/oil from Target and some from Sephora and nothing was as skin quenching. I ordered this lotion & another from Sephora. Tested both with and without adding an oil. The other lotion was awful, but this was heaven! Using lotion by itself and with added oil, it helped keep my skin to hydrated and supple.

The consistency was medium thick, went on smooth, soaked in without needing to rub to hard and the smell was divine! No rash or allergic reactions. The packaging was good too. My only issues was though it soaked in well, I was still a little “slick” for mins after.

Not greasy, but a min layer of moisture. Regardless, it eventually completely soaked in and didn’t stain clothes. Other issue is the price. Super expensive for what I need daily. I normally shy away from celebrity brands, but this was a game changer for my dry skin.

And the quantity is enough to last a while, so it’s good value for a celebrity brand. Definitely recommend for dry skin!.

I absolutely love this product for my dry skin and hands. It’s thick, rich and amazingly moisturizing. The exfoliating factor is a big bonus for me. Beautiful packaging too! My only request is that you put this in a jar since it has the consistency of a luxurious body butter.

I always dispense as much as I can into such a container because it’s SO much easier to access and I don’t have to fight the pump with slick hands. Plus, I hate the idea of wasting ANY of this product when I can’t pump the rest out of the bottle.

Let me start by saying I love Hempz! I love their products! Shampoo, Conditioners, lotions and more. Love the brand. I like the feel of this lotion. It’s very hydrating and creamy. However I hate the scent so much.

It gives me the worst headache. Immediately sets off a migraine (yes I have been diagnosed and scents are a trigger). I’ve tried it several times and I have to wash it off. For lack of a better comparison and I do apologize as I’m no spring chicky, it smells like a grandma and even though I wouldn’t say it’s the most overpowering (7/10) it’s still to strong and not a pleasant scent.

I love the summer scents like Sweet Pineapple & Honey Melon or Exotic Green Tea & Asian Pear or Blueberry Lavender & Chamomile. Those are all really great, don’t give me a headache or smell like a granny.

Good ones to try if you are looking for an alternative in this brand.

I’ve been using neutrogena deep moisture fast absorbing comfort balm for a week now and I’m very pleased with the results. We have very hard water which dries out my skin after a shower; but this product calms and moisturises my skin extremely quickly and it stays moisturised until I shower again the next day.

The balm has a light scent that is pleasant. I couldn’t believe how fast it absorbs into my skin and it doesn’t have that thick skin clogging feeling after application like other moisturisers. Once absorbed, my skin just feels smooth and clean – not like it usually does when I moisturise.

It’s hard to explain, but for those who hate the feeling after applying moisturisers and the length of time it takes them to absorb- this product is for you. I honestly love this product and I’ll be switching to it from now on.
