20 Best Blow Dryer With Comb For Black Hair (2023 Updated)

Just bought it and tried it out and absolutely freaking love it!! I debated between this and the conair infinity pro, but got this as the brush does not move and I figured it was less for me to screw up if I got my hair tangled!!! Lol.

The Revlon hot air brush was perfect. I have medium thick fine hair that has natural waviness bordering on frizzy curls. This straightened it out beautifully and I didn’t need two appliances to get the result.

I used a hair serum to help with the drying and it is just wonderful and easy!! Highly recommend.

I love this Revlon One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer. I am not good at styling my own hair at all. This hair dryer allows me to style my shoulder length hair similar to how my hairdresser styles my hair.

I love how my hair looks after using this hair dryer. I used to use a regular hair dryer and a round brush. My hair would get frizzy with no volume. With this hair dryer my hair does not get frizzy and there is volume.

The hair dryer is big and a little bulky, but it is well worth it. Sure beats trying to use a regular hair dryer in one hand and a brush in the other hand. The hair dryer does run a little hot, so I found you have to hold it a certain way or use it with one hand which can be tiring.

My hair drying time is about the same as with the prior way I dried my hair, but with this hair dryer I get much better results. This hair dryer is great for people like me who are not good at styling hair.

This is the first product that I purchased that has actually helped me to style my hair so it looks good. I get many compliments after using this hair dryer. I’ve had the hair dryer for a couple of months now and I still love it.

I admit that I am a hairproduct junkie. I am an over 60 yo woman with very thick, coarse, shoulder length color treated hair which has a slight wave, tends to frizziness. I am pretty adapt with the blow dryer and various brushes (okay, I have 8 different brushes that I use depending on the weather, style I want that day, etc) My battle that I have not been able to fix is getting a good smooth blowout in Chicago summer high humidity.

I am anxious to try it this summer, but I think this will be a great success–I am very impressed with this item so far. WARNING, there is a bit of a learning curve, be patient! And also, my blowdryers tend to always be about 1800 watts, I thought that this might not be powerful enough at 1100–it gets the hair REALLY HOT and might not be the best choice for someone with thin hair.

It DOES have a cool setting that might work. The results I get from this are the very best I have ever achieved on my own. I am very pleased and suggest if you are hesitating, to give this a try. Also, using my BB&B 20% gives the very best price you will find anywhere.

I love how this dryer dries my hair, however, if you are left handed the button placement is terrible. Your hand will turn down the heat while you are holding the hair dryer. There is no rubber stopper on both sides, so when you set it down as a lefty it slides since you are setting it down opposite of where the stopper is.

Superb if you are a righty. Otherwise a different dryer would be better for you!.

I have 3B/3C curls and this dryer brush worked SO well (and quickly) on natural hair! I had bought this and the barrel brush version, both from revlon. This one won’t get your hair as straight as the barrel brush version, but I don’t see it as a negative because (1) paddle brushes aren’t meant to blow hair out bone straight and (2) it’s much quicker.

The barrel brush version requires perfectly detangled hair to get through even the smallest sections, so I preferred the paddle brush version anyway. So long as your hair is at least slightly detangled, it quickly brushes through and blows out your hair.

You can also use large sections with ease! I did half my head in 5 mins or less when my hair was down to my chest. The only reason I didn’t keep this product is that I buzzed my hair off about a week after purchase.

Otherwise, would’ve kept forever!.

I think my blow dryer I’ve been using just went obsolete in my world. I’ve been fighting curly, unruly frizzy hair my whole life. Been using a professional blow dryer with a specific round brush, and painstakingly drying my hair with the little attachment and a round brush for decades.

Gave up on that and started ruining my hair with a flat iron. Still never could achieve that shine I’ve always dreamed of. UNTIL now. I feel like this thing has been the best kept secret to women everywhere.

Works fast, doesn’t yank or break my hair, ALOT less breakage noticed in the sink than anything else I’ve ever used. Fast, and works wonders. The highest setting is truly hot, I only had to use medium setting and it works beautifully.

It is slightly heavier than I would prefer, but easy to use for me. A bit loud, but for this hair I could care less. It’s shiny, bouncy, and manageable, without a drop of serum or any leave in conditioner, just used a thermal heat protectant spray and voila.

I’m sold. As long as this unit lasts, I will be raving about it. Thank you for making my life easier and helping to keep my hair healthy longer. My favorite thing about it? I can let go of the section of hair I’m drying and use the end tip to roll the dryer, and it doesn’t burn my fingers at alll.

So far so good. Have used this dryer about 3 times since I’ve purchased (maybe one or two more times), and I’m not disappointed. It’s great ergonomically. The heat released options are perfect. The attachment units, specifically the comb, are sturdy – unlike other brands I’ve purchased that had weak teeth that broke quickly – and the entire unit itself is compact and easy to store.

Additionally, the box it came in is great for repurposing as a storage box (if needed).

It functions very well. The reviews that others have given about the quality of the dryer is accurate. I have curly hair so the diffuser is what I use the most. This dryer does dry the hair faster and my hair has more volume afterwards.

Also by the dryer being Handle-less it makes it easier to maneuver the dryer. I definitely would recommend this product.

I have used the Revlon equivalent of this brush dryer for a couple of years. I can count on one hand how many times I’ve used my regular blow dryer in that time frame. I can almost emulate a salon blow out (I say almost because the man who does my blow outs is freakin awesome).

Now, there are some things you have to realize going in. You should let your hair either air dry at least 50% or more or use a regular blow dryer first. It will take much longer to style your hair if you start with a soaking wet head.

My routine is to wash my hair at night and let it air dry a while. Spray hair with a heat protectant. Than I use this volumizer to get body, volume, and shiny hair. Usually, I brush and go the next morning.

Worse case is I need a bit of a touch up. Again, I spray heat protectant. Run this baby through my hair a few times. It only takes 2 or 3 minutes max. And I’m out the door. Yes, it is loud. Yes, it takes a bit of getting used to.

But my hair is so much healthier since I’m not using nearly the amount of heat I used to with a blow dryer and a flat iron to reduce frizz. I get my hair colored a vibrant red every 6 to 8 weeks so damage and fade out are always things I need to be aware of.

My color stays fresh for a much longer period of time. I will never go back to my regular blow dryer and brush routine. This has made life so much easier. And my hair has never been healthier and never looked better.

When strangers compliment you on your gorgeous hair, well, that is a bonus!.

I’ve never tried a product like this before, so I was really excited when I was gifted this. I was actually gifted the larger (normal) size and ended up exchanging for the smaller size. I have shoulder length hair and the larger was a little too difficult to use.

Here’s what I’ve learned: Slow and steady will give you really nice results. It works very quickly. I also loved how much volume it gave me-I have really flat hair so that’s always a plus for me. As others noted, it’s quite loud on the “cool” and “high” settings.

I am actually fine on the “low” setting – not too loud, not too much heat, and it still gives the results I want, but I have fine straight hair, so that may not working for everyone.

This is the best product for natural hair. I am 3c/4a in texture and this made my hair super smooth and straight. All I had to do was lightly follow it up with my flatiron. Also the brush isn’t too hot or uncomfortable and I used it on the highest heat setting.

I did use 100% argan oil as a heat protectant and got awesome results. I sectioned my hair into 6 sections and was able to quickly go through it without my arms getting tired. My crown or the thickest part of my hair got super smooth too.

When I was done my hair felt like I had been to a Dominican salon. I definitely recommend this. I may have to replace the brush head after multiple uses but this to me was worth everything I paid for it.

I bought this for domestic use, cringed a fair bit at the price but was determined to have a top of the line hairdryer after so many dud supermarket ones have ruined my hair. Excuse the pun. but I am literally blown away by this dryer.

It leaves my short hair style glossy and sleek, no frizzy in sight. A powerful motor with great speed settings. The only let down for me is the difference in heat between the 2 heat settings, high heat is way too hot and burns my scalp in half a second but the next level down isn’t hot enough to dry and set your style.

It would be great if there was a heat setting in between volcano and sunny summer day. Plus the colour isn’t the same as depicted. Definately not Jade, more like a forest green colour. Much darker than depicted.

I purchased this blow out brush in October 2021. I loved it! I literally had perfect hair in 5 minutes flat and had quit using a straightener. However; come December 2021, the blow dryer stopped blowing warm air completely, and was completely worthless at this point.

I actually contacted Almost Famous who wanted a picture of the engraved logo on the handle on the product. Well mine was obviously a printed logo because it was barely visible at this point. I didn’t bother with filing a claim at this point because this product is apparently a fake.

I have THICK hair and a lot of it. Usually takes 30 minutes or more to blow dry and style, hair dryer plus flat iron or curling iron. Got this a few days ago, finally tried it and O. M. G. it’s amazing.

15 minutes my hair was dry, so so soft and no frizz. Usually the hair dryer brushes get tangled in my hair or the bristles are too hard. This glides through with soft bristles. My hair looks like I just left the salon.

That has never happened at home. It’s my new favorite thing.

I’ve just received this blowout brush. The brush end is significantly larger than it appears in the photos. My hair is almost shoulder length and it’s thin and fine. This dries hair very quickly and makes hair very slick and straight.

I’ll practice with it more, but I think the diameter of the brush is just too large for my puny hair, and that makes it very difficult to hold it in a position that might be able to give my hair volume from the roots.

I think this would work great with longer and/or thicker hair.

I bought this being a bit dubious as nothing works with my ‘candy floss’ over bleached and thin hair from years of colouring and then the menopause making it thin I watched an influencer on Instagram using this for the first time of which she then linked the product and her hair looked fab but she had thicker hair than me I took a chance on buying it and today I have used it for the first time.

I just towel dried my hair which is mid length and sprayed some heat spray on it before using the brush and after only approx 15 mins my hair was dry and smooth and not looking like a candy floss on a stick !! I went straight through to show my daughter and she was amazed as she is used to me complaining about my hair every time I have used a hair dryer on it ! I held it to the roots for 3 seconds or so first on each part and then pulled it up a bit for height then turned the brush towards the ends so it would curl it under.

And my fringe also worked a treat as I am growing it out which is a pain but it styled it to the side and it looks really nice Highly recommend this product to anyone.

I ordered this a week ago and was so disappointed when it arrived only because it was huge im only a small petite person and tiny hands one which is in a splint due to an accident. I cant barely hold this, let alone do my hair I thought it was a lot smaller then it actually was which is why I purchased it.

The box was also very damaged which wasn’t a good sign either. So I never got chance to try it. Also ive only medium length hair much to big. I would recommend it but to people that have really long hair and large hands.

I bought this after seeing the rave reviews as I have very frizzy curly hair. After using it for the first few times I was amazed! It completely smoothed out my hair and made it straight and silky, however I then started noticing my hair had loads of short layers, especially at the back.

This brush had gotten so hot that it had completely burnt off the top layer of my hair! Now my hair is completely frazzled after only using this a handful of times- I am having to spend loads of money on olaplex treatments to get my hair back to a decent state.

Because the breakage is so bad I have even contemplated cutting it short which is so annoying as I have spent the past few years growing it out long!!! It completely ruined my hair. :(.

I had my previous FHI Platform for 12 years. I was comfortable with it and not looking forward to a new dryer. However, this dryer is lightweight and the drying time is fast ( I have textured curly hair).

I give it four stars for ease of use. The one downside is the buttons being in the way of where I usually hold the dryer. I have used it on myself and my daughter and in both ways I often hit the buttons and it changed the settings.

I am on the fence about the change of button placement.

The ON/Off controls on this FHI Platform 2000 Ceramic Hair dryer are placed in a position that is very awkward to reach if you are doing your own hair. I have to contort my fingers in an uncomfortable way in order to reach them.

I don’t know why in the world anyone would design a hair dryer with the controls in this location on the handle. Maybe, if you are a stylist doing someone else’s hair, this would not be a problem. Everything else seems fine and I am hoping when I get used to it, it will not be so uncomfortable.

I am enjoying my product it is excellent for the styling of my hair. I had just recently used a product on my hair that caused me to lose about 2 of my hair. That is why I purchased this item to help with the growth process.

I have been using this item for a few weeks now and my hair is? about half way back to the length of the rest of my hair. It keeps my hair manageable. I love the way that I can zip through the task of grooming my hair with ease now.

My daughter and I both have very thick, long hair and she is currently transitioning from a relaxer. More often than not, we air dry our hair which means the next day our hair will still be damp because of the thickness.

I was a little concerned that the comb attachments wouldn’t work with our hair but I needn’t have worried. The comb attachments worked perfectly and helped to smooth out the hair and new growth leaving no need for flat irons.

After detangling and sectioning her bra strap length, thick, transitioning hair into 4 sections, the whole process was quick (no more than 15 minutes). The setting I used was medium. This dryer is lightweight and gets the job much easier and faster and is far less awkward than holding a traditional blowdryer in one hand and a comb in the other.

I’d recommend it to anyone.

This is the newer version of the Andis gold blow dryer. I prefer this type of dryer because they are easier, and more comfortable to hold. The positives are it is stronger, and is not as quick to overheat.

It is more streamlined, and is slightly more compact, sleeker, and a little lighter in weight. There is a better air vent system. The negative is that the combs easily pop off. It is annoying. They are going to have to create combs that lock into place.

By the time my hair was fully dry, my frustration level was high. Overall, I will have to figure out the comb thing, but I am happy I am still able to find this line of Andis’ dryers.

I loved the design and performance when it worked. The control button suddenly stuck at the point and couldn’t be controlled. I contacted customer service, and the response was pretty good. BUT, the replacement process is extremely slow.

I bought this hairdryer in late August, and it is broken in September. I sent the product for replacement but haven’t received the product until now. The customer service only keeps repeating to say it will be shipping soon.

This replacement process is longer than the time I used the product. I do not recommend any products from this company. You won’t get a replacement ever and ever.

great Hair Drier! for the price of this hair drier you cant go wrong. its 2000w and does the work of a professional drier at the price of a drugstore one. it has reduced my dry time in half compared to my older drier that was 1275w for hair that is chest length with only having to use it on the middle heat setting.

The only con I would have to give about this product is that after about 90 days of use, and swapping the concentrator and diffuser, the diffuser got a little loose and pops off a little easily when in use some times.

other then that, this thing is amazing, and i love this thing!.

I love the elegant gold accent on the black dryer. I also like the easy to use and unique control for heat levels and blower strength. The dual slider allows me to control two different settings in one place because it has heat levels on one side and blower strength levels on the other side.

I like that the controls make it easy to fully customize the exact levels I want. I can further customize with the two included attachments. I was torn between giving the blower 5 or 4 stars because the blower is not as strong as my old hair dryer, but since it does work well anyways, I decided to give it 5 stars.

Conair has never been my favorite product line to be honest. I know the electric line “blows”. Nothing gets hot enough. If there kids around my plants and listen. Your kid breaks it and you buy it with a small conair gratas.

It’s my salon. The prices for my Hoyas are expensive so I hope it was worth it.

I’ve had this hair dryer for about 6 years, and considering it gets used just about everyday, I’m impressed that it’s still going. It was a steal at $45 considering how long it’s lasted! It styles my hair nicely and doesn’t create too much frizz.

It actually helps smooth your hair and dries it pretty quickly. The heat settings are easy to adjust and the two speeds are nice to have. I would absolutely recommend this dryer. I’ve also taken it over seas a few times, and while it definitely doesn’t work exactly the same with an adapter, it DOES work, and it’s so nice to have my own dryer over there.

This hairdryer I’ve had forever and is still going longer than my professional dryer I got while in hairstylist school. It has 3 heat settings. Cool, warm and hot. It even has a “cold” blast setting to lock that frizz out of your hair.

It comes with 2 attachments for diffusing and one for more direct stream of air. It’s a great dryer.

I have the settings on high heat but when I raise the hair dryer to my hair, the air blows cool. Not sure if this is some weird feature I don’t know about but nothing I’ve read about this hair dryer states it blows cool air.

I love this hair dryer!!! My hair is never frizzy look like I walked out of the salon every time I use it!! I love how I don’t have to hold down the blue button for cold air, I can turn my heat setting off completely! Or if I want some heat I can change it to low, or high heat!! I love how you don’t smell plastic burning like other dryers! It seems pretty quiet as well! It comes with a styling brush a defuser, concentrator nozzle , a bag to store everything in! This definitely won my heart over!.

Mehr nicht. Dies sind dann nun leider die Nachteile bei Onlinekäufen, man kann das Produkt vorher nicht “anfassen” um sich Eindrücke zu verschaffen. Das ewige zurückschicken ist da auch keine Lösung.
