Some of the most popular baits for freshwater fishing in Florida include live or artificial minnows, crayfish, worms, and lures that imitate these natural prey items. Many anglers also find success using flies, particularly in streams and rivers where fish are feeding on insects.

She used the zoom ultra vibe speed worm in black sapphire. Just casted it out and a steady retrieve, bingo bingo, bongo, fish on. The water had about 2’ clarity and water temp was 52 F. This is a great way to worm fish vs.
letting it fall to bottom. Keeps the young person interested. Our next time out we are going to throw the Gambler burner worm so we can compare it to the zoom worm.

Reviews From Real Customers
This lure mimics the appearance and movement of herring (sprat) baitfish when fished from the shoreline and has proven deadly for snook, tarpon, crevalle jack, blue runner, bar jack, horseye jack, cero mackerel and ladyfish.
Just select the size of the crystal minnow based on your targeted inshore gamefish and vary your retrieve accordingly.
I must admit while I’m Shopping for lures its very personal and i take my time. Sometimes it make take me an hour to pick one. However I noticed that I’m attracted to unique color schemes. So when laid my eyes on this 3D Crystal Yo-Zuri Minnow.
I thought to myself if i like so would a Bass. So i purchased it very costly i mite add So my plan was to go out try different lures. I tossed my favorite the all black Bomber Then as we call it the School Bus Bomber lure.
I always have myself on a Cast count. 15 casts each lure So after my counts are complete with each I’m 30 casts in bynthe way. I decided to try the Crystal Minnow, I kid you not on the second cast Bam! SUCCESS.
An ever second or third cast their after successful strikes. Bass all nigh Thanks to my new found friend. The Crystal Minnow 3D by Yo-Zuri.
With high water and short striking peacocks on the surface in Brazil a few months ago the chart back Crystal Minnow came thru with two 13s and a 14. Six weeks later in Colombia, the first day a 19 grabbed the same lure.
In the next few days another 19 and a 20 joined the party with a well over 20 throwing it on the jump until a beast broke the 50# braid headed for the sticks. Next trips there will be plenty of backups on hand.
Great action and easy to fish, durable and casts well. The factory hooks and split rings are fine but I usually upgrade anyway, a larger belly hook doesn’t hurt the action.
The jointed rapalas hard-to-ignore action can make the difference between a day of fishing and a day of catching. The extra action imparted by its jointed body makes it the perfect attention-getting bait for big bass and pike.
This timeless lure is favored by anglers from the southeast to the far reaches of Canada. Running depth: 4′ to 6′ or 1. 2 to 1. 8 meters.
Great lure that I have used for many years. The color on this really is very brilliant in the sun. Lots of fish are attracted to it. It’s also tough and lasts a long time since it is built so well. The original silver with black back also is an excellent version.
This lure is beautiful. I use the J-9 size in Perch color for largemouth in Wisconsin. I got my first one last summer, and it’s caught so many fish that it’s scratched all over, it’s begun to steer funny, and the tail section is slipped on the wire that holds it together.
Rather than tune it up, I bought two more, and I’m having it mounted along with my best catch–a 5-1/2#, 21-incher. The action must be good–even little perch and bluegill chase it around and hook up, despite the fact it’s half their size.
I’ve caught some very nice bass on it in 2-7 feet of water or so (personal experience) over sand beds on the edge of thick weeds. I’m going to sound old-fashioned, but I love that it’s wooden, and I prefer the older ones with the painted eyes.
Just feels cool using something that’s been around and still works this well. it’s like using your Dad’s (or Grandpa’s) hammer. There are newer, flashier hammers. but we’re not talking F1 Racing–it’s hammering nails (or fish, in this case).
Balsa rapalas are timeless. It floats well, and isn’t too heavy (like a lot of plastic-bodied baits), so you can cast it over submerged weeds, without having it hook into weeds when it first hits the water on a high cast.
Early on, I got excited and bought some smaller J-5 jointed rapalas, thinking that would help me “find the bite” on slower days. They are lighter–so they don’t cast as far, or as well in the wind–and because they have less balsa, they don’t seem to “float” as well.
Really, they float fine, but I find them harder to see, and I think the tail holds the head back in the water a bit. Not a big deal, but to me, the J-9 just works, fits and feels better for the fishing described below.
I’m sure other people have had similar experiences with a spoon that worked great in one size, but seemed off in another, etc. I much prefer the J9 to the J5; I’ve not tried the J11 yet, and while I’m certain it could work well, I’m afraid it might be a bit big for bass, and I’d rather catch small and big fish, than nothing while waiting for Moby.
I’m no expert, but I’ve caught 2/3 of my bass over the last two summers on this lure. Cast it out, spot it, twitch it a few times, wait a few seconds, and start the retrieve. When the fishing’s good, you’ll get most of your hits at the initial “ripple” spot where it landed–sometimes almost instantly–and it’s just awesome to see bass smack it.
If not, don’t worry, a medium retrieve presents no challenge for a fun bass, and you’re back in business. I love this lure.
If you’re not fishing classic creature-type soft baits like the 6″ Zoom Lizard, then you’re missing out on some great action. Bass love juicy lizards any time of year, but they absolutely hate them during the spring when the 4-legged beasts are notorious for raiding their nests! Ultra-realistic, super-soft, and salt impregnated, with a high-action tail and appendages that will have bass charging in to make contact.
Great for Texas or Carolina rigging. Made in USA. Classic size for all-around use Realistic look Super-soft body Salt-impregnated High-action tail Year after year, Zoom Baits remain the hottest soft plastics in bass fishing.
Zoom soft baits are legendary for their uncanny fish-producing ability, and rare is the tournament angler who will leave the dock without a good supply in the boat. Wholly realistic, super-soft to the touch, and salt-impregnated, Zoom soft baits have the look, the action, and the flavor needed to make fish bite down hard, and fight to hang on.
Watched an episode on YouTube of Richard Gene fishing with the Zoom Black lizard with chartreuse tail. He caught two huge bass (9lbs +) among the many he landed that day. Of course I had to try them.
I was never much of a believer in lizards till now. They are great in certain situations. I like fishing them on a shakey head jig, and of course Carolina rigged when the water temp gets up. Just a little disappointed I didn’t try them sooner.
The Zoom Baby Brush Hog has been my “go to” bait for years. I rig it Texas style with a red bullet weight and red bead between the hook and the weight. I always use red 3/0 Gamakatsu EWG hooks. The red weight, red bead, and red hook are used to create a bleeding creature bait appearance.
The bead is used as a noise maker similar to a Carolina rig, except there is only one knot (at the hook) in the whole rig. Having only one knot means there is less chance of a knot failure. The only thing left to decide is which color of Baby Brush Hog to use.
I have had plenty of success with the Watermelon Red and Watermelon Green. Unfortunately, these are relatively popular colors and they might not be effective at locations where there is a lot of fishing pressure.
The latest colors that are “killin’ it” are the Alabama Craw and California 420. One negative that I have found with the Baby Brush Hog is that I have not had much success fishing the lure in the winter.
During the winter, bass are less likely to chase the Baby Brush Hog.
Features: The Heddon Super Spook is a larger, stouter rattling version of the Zara Spook. Measures 5 inches and weighs 7/8 ounce. Loud rattles for more attraction. Rigged with three size 4 Xcalibur treble hooks.
Available in 12 colors. The Heddon Super Spook is a 5 inch, 7/8 ounce topwater walking lure that combines tough construction with good looks to produce an unstoppable topwater lure. Based on the classic Zara Spook, this bait improves on the classic topwater walker by having a larger profile and loud rattles that help draw attention by imitating the sound profile of a dying baitfish.
Additionally, this bait is rigged with three stout size 4 Xcalibur Treble Hooks that easily convert every strike into a catch and are strong enough to pull in large, aggressive species such as redfish and striper.
Grab one in any of the 12 fish-enticing colors and let the blow-ups begin!.
If topwater is happening, the Spook owns it. For like, the last 50 years. The Super Spook Jr remains the most versatile size and black works everywhere in the country, all-year long. Especially with Smallies.
Walking lure makers have been imitating this lure for decades, not just for the basic action but for the variety of retrieves that it can be successful with. Durable. Cheap. Effective. I always have a variety of colors on hand to see which flavor excites the bite.
When the topwater bite’s on, this is great. The bigger spook profile really stands out when the baitfish are a bit smaller. Maybe they think it’s another smaller predator they can catch off guard? Whatever the reason, bass, redfish, seatrout, snook, and bluefish will absolutely destroy this thing.
The hooks are beefy, just make sure to rinse it after use in saltwater. Chipped paint and chew marks don’t seem to matter, but I save my old beat up ones to use as key chains or christmas decorations that bring back fond memories.
Perfect downsized option for flipping, pitching or adding to the back of a jig trailer. Elongated claws and multiple side pincers that are all equipped with a raised ridge, which generate a lively and fast kicking action.
Stuffed with salt and Slaunch Sauce attractant for an added level of attraction. Available in 14 colors. Delivering the perfect combination of profile and action they produce bites and put fish in the boat 365 days a year.
They feature elongated claws and multiple side pincers that are all equipped with a raised ridge, which generate a lively and fast kicking action. Additionally, their molded ribbed body produces substantial vibration that attracts fish from afar.
Deadly when flipped and pitched on a Texas-rig, but just as lethal when fished on the back of a jig, swinging jig head, Carolina-rig, and even a shaky head. Loaded with salt and a heavy dose of Slaunch Sauce that makes fish hold on longer, the Googan Baits Bandito Bug is one that you need to have tied-on every time you hit the water.
Overall, I’m fairly pleased with the GS Bandito Bug. I have some of the full size and some of the Jr size. Make a great trailer on jigs, spinners and the like. Good for Texas rigs as well. Great action.
My only complaint is that they tear a little too easily due to what seems like maybe a little too much salt? Combined with the fact that they’re a bit more expensive per individual lure compared to some other brands, that can make using them all the time a little bit of a stretch for me.
Maybe if they were in packs of 10 or more for the same price that would be more feasible. I do pick them up in bulk whenever they’re on sale or a BOGO because I do enjoy them. All in all not a bad buy and worth a try for anyone.
It’s no secret that large baits produce large bass, and the Googan Baits Trench Hawg will help you get that trophy lunker! The big Trench Hawg features elongated claws with a raised ridge to displace more water, grabbing attention from fish in the area.
Its ribbed body and restless legs help create aggressive action and vibration. Stuffed with salt and Slaunch Sauce, this special blend makes fish hold onto the bait longer once they bite. Make big bass drool for a taste of your fishing rig, use the Googan Baits Trench Hawg today!.
These baits ROCK! I’m 46 years old and I’ve worked in the fishing industry my whole life. I began as a long line fisherman for many years and now I’m a Charter Boat Captain and have done it for decades.
I’ve used just about every bait there is out there and I’ve always preferred using live bait when fishing freshwater because it tends to bring the best results. Googan baits have completely changed my mind.
I live on the coast in NWFL and the freshwater fishing is not great here. If I saw 1-2 bass in a 10 hour fishing day that was a good day. Now, using these baits, I see 10-20 which is completely insane to me.
After seeing me snag bass after bass, all of my buddies have switched to Googan. This Trench Hog, in particular, is 6” long, comes in a seven pack, and comes in 10 different colors. my favorite color is the Okeechobee Craw, a blue green lure with royal blue speckles.
The Trench Hawg has a unique shape and a flange that really moves in an interesting way in the water. Ive done some reading on them and they’re engineered in a way to displace the maximum amount of water, so they definitely draw attention.
There’s a reason they’re always talking about Googan on Lunkers TV. it’s because THEY WORK. Last time I was out, I had another brand’s bait on and nothing was biting. I changed to the Trench Hawg and boom, boom, boom.
one after another. Needless to say, I threw the rest of the other ones in the can and I’ve been in the process of replacing all of my lures with Googan. I don’t know the science behind it, but what I do know is something about the smell and the way they move in the water.
they just can’t help but bite them! Buy the Googan, you won’t be disappointed. “Open it, Smell it, Catch it” then brag about it to your friends. 😂.
The best I’ve ever used. I think about about the 3rd-4th cast yesterday, I caught a decent 2-3lb bass with the new Sprayed Lettuce color. I knew you would be catching hogs with this new color but I didn’t expect it to with bass this big! I’m so impressed! I love this brand! this is the is the only brand i’ll ever use.
My first ever bass was with a Googan Squad Trench Hawg 6’’ June Bug and Ill never use anything else! I love y’all and I know everytime I get a new color I know I’m catching something good! Thank y’all for providing such great and awesome equipment! I don’t think I’d ever catch anything using anything else!!!!.
When Rapala was creating the Shad Rap, they wanted a crankbait that would closely resemble baitfish the world over, cast like a bullet, and work at a variety depths. Now considered by many to be the benchmark by which all other hardbaits are measured, the Rapala Shad Rap, constructed from the highest quality balsa wood, embodies all of these attributes, plus it delivers the legendary Rapala wobbling action.
Equally effective whether cast or trolled, it performs from ultra slow to super fast with no negative effects. Available in several proven colors and a variety of models to target specific depths, each Rapala Shad Rap is hand-tuned and tank-tested, like all Rapala baits, to ensure it runs true right out of the package.

The Rapala Shad Rap has been catching fish better than most crankbaits for more than 30 years. The Shad Rap is lightweight and therefore a frustrating bait to try to throw on baitcasting tackle especially in its smaller sizes.
But, if you can put down your baitcaster and pick up a spinning rod and go to work with this bait in cooler water temps and ideally fairly clear water it will catch bass (and every other predatory fish) when other techniques fail you.
Shad Rsps are perfectly balanced to fish at any speed.
Bandit 200 crankbaits may be the best over-all crankbait for multiple species that you can have in your box. The 200 dives to almost 2. 4m This diving depth combined with the bait’s top-quality construction and wide array of colour choices, make the 200 an all-time classic fishing lure.
The rounded diving lip ensures the Bandit 200 runs true every time and provides that famous fish-hunting action. Highly effective on bass, walleyes, crappies and other gamefish.
I am excited for the upcoming Walleye season. My fishing partner has 2 of these Bandit 200’s in spring craw/yellow. The action will trigger Walleye when nothing else does. We troll with about 95 – 105ft.
of 10lb diameter line and hit out marks on the GPS. Yeah, they seem to be the trick that brings in the fish. Now, I have 4 and might even give him 1 for letting me use his 2nd one. I definitely recommend these Bandit 200’s.
My buddy told me of a mythical lure called the Bandit Lure. He described it as being colored similar to a crawfish and having the ability to swim shallow waters. I searched high and low for this mythical thing.
I asked the old timer at the local bait shop who recalled seeing one similar to what I described. Said the lure was made with Poseidons own hands. The old man hobbled and bent down below the counter and showed me the remains of what he described as the Magic Lure.
Let me tell you this, the lure I purchased through eBay on the interwebs is the exact replica. The first cast with this thing and I pulled in a 22 3/4 lb small mouth bass. The fish looked at me as if to say, Thats an illegal lure, my friend.
I have caught so many different species of fish on Bandit 100-200 chartreuse shad. Pike in Canada, snook in Florida, crappie in Pennsylvania. It’s one of my confidence lures. I do a lot of trolling from a canoe in my home state of PA.
The Zoom Super Fluke is the ideal baitfish imitator to use in any condition to successfully tempt bass and some of the biggest fish in your area. Replicating the motion of an injured shad, it moves quickly across the surface when rigged weightless.
This fishing lure can also be combined with weights for fishing it in deeper waters.
Love the flukes. They are cheap and very effective way to catch some nice bass. Had to try the lemon shad color for my river since chartreuse is a top producer. I think these actually do better with the added pearl color.
Love the action. Can’t beat the flukes from Zoom!!.
First started using flukes because of a tiktok video I saw of some dude cathching everything with these. Landed my PB off of a white pearl. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better I tried the WATERMELON RED since I saw so many people commenting about this color.
First time using this color yesterday and landed 3 fish in a matter of 30 minutes. THEY ATTACK IT! Favorite lure to use and I can use it all day.

The Trick Worm was the original floating worm, deadly for twitching and deadsticking weightless for a stealth approach to shallow water bass, but in recent years it has become the gold standard for so much more.
Savvy pros have realized that its straight, slender profile is perfect on the back of a shakey head or Carolina rigged when fish have seen every other lure under the sun. With its subtle approach and wide range of color options, there’s a Trick Worm for every situation.
Amazing fished weightless around shallow cover, but also deadly on a Carolina rig or shakey head. Segmented worm with a natural slithering action. Salt Impregnated.
If for some reason you have never used a Zoom Trick Worm. you are missing a ton of fish. Great action and all the great color options. You need a few trick worms. trust me. Texas rig, shaky head or even wacky style.
this worm gets bit year round. Follow me on YouTube at Rocky Top Splash for great tips on how to find, follow and catch more bass. Fish Simple, and simply catch fish.
This is an excellent bait to drop shot when lake has heavy pressure like we have here at Lake Fork due to numerous tournaments. I like to throw it out 50′-60′, let it come to a complete rest (“No” Pendulum), then lift the rod slowly 8″-12″ twice and let it rest again.
The amount of time I let it rest depends on water clarity and temp. Dirty water and low temps around 15 seconds, clear water and warmer temps around 5 seconds. This technique requires gut wrenching patience, but usually pays off.
Caught an 8 lb over (24″ +) on this lure in red bug the other day. Learned this technique from the infamous Mark Pack (RIP Brother).
I’ve been fishing for 60 years, and never have I had the success I’ve had this summer (’22) using the Zoom finesse worm. Put simply it x catches largemouth. Caught a 6 lb’r midsummer on the black colored finesse worm.
Also, caught an 18″ and a 14″ that same day. I use this mostly in the ponds I fish in Southeast Ohio. Never leave home without them.
LengthWeightStyleDive Depth4 1/3 inch (110 mm)1/2 oz (14 g)Suspending/Slow-Float4-6′ Once the closely-guarded secret of the pros, the Megabass ITO Vision 110 has quickly become a staple among professional and amateur anglers alike, setting the standard for jerkbait fishing in all U.
S. waters. The profile, one-of-a-kind darting action, balancing system and realistic color patterns all contribute to the incredible fish-catching ability of the Vision 110. The tungsten Multi-Way Moving Balancer System (PAT) not only fuels the 110’s unparalleled action and huge flashes, but also allows the Vision 110 to cast like a bullet.
This deadly package is finished off with three Katsuage out-barb treble hooks, designed to increase hook-setting percentages when power-bait fishing. The Vision 110 excels when the water temps are between 38 to 70 degrees.
During this time (especially from November to April in most U. S. waters), the Vision 110 is an excellent choice when fishing points, flats, rocky banks, bluffs, or over underwater grass beds. However, the Vision 110 can also be deadly around boat docks in the heat of the summer.
Smallmouth anglers will find no better lure that the Vision 110; in Northern waters, smallmouth bass will attack this lure from spring to fall. The wide range of colors available for the Vision 110 make this bait effective in virtually all water clarity conditions, but our Pro Staff has found the 110 to be most effective in water clarity from one to 20 feet.
I fish every couple days and once I figured out the technique, I started catching walleye like crazy. Also large mouth , small mouth, Kentucky, and white bass. Then I found a bunch of wipers and for several weeks I would catch one with every cast.
Those fish would rip the lure to pieces or straighten the hooks. I could catch just one or two and the lure would be destroyed. It was during this time that I started using 50lb braided line. I had been using 8 lb fluoro line.
With 50 lb braid I can jerk it using just my wrist and I can pop it 3 to 5 times in rapid succession then slap the handle of my reel and it will quickly retrieve the slack and then pop it again then pause for a few seconds and repeat.
I mean I catch fish left and right. Mostly walleye. I’ve found that several companies make almost exact copies of this lure and they cost $7. 99. The problem with those is the bill breaks every time you hit a rock.
The megabass bills don’t break like that but you’re likely to get hung up with either one eventually. And I don’t break near as many bills using the 50 lb braid because I don’t have to jerk it nearly as hard.
The price of these lures is truly ridiculous but I still buy them occasionally. There are some rapala jerk baits that work just as well that aren’t knockoffs and they are under $10. It’s amazing how far you can cast these things too.
Any lure is going to catch more fish if you retrieve it a greater distance with every cast. Watch some videos on YouTube to learn the basics. Then try different combinations of jerks and pauses and you’ll find a combination that will make you look like a professional fisherman.
My friend is a fishing master and I’ve started catching more than him at times.
Thought about it for long while to dump the money, but I purchased 2, PM ghost shiner and GG deadly black shad colors. The workmanship of these lures are excellent. Paint quality is on point. Noticed that the barbs are backwards and at first thought it was odd, never seen anything like that.
Had the opportunity to go fishing on a sunny and 75 kinda day for my birthday weekend out here in CA. These baits suspend in the water column almost perfectly at 58 degrees according to the fish finder.
In a window of 4 hrs (fishing was tough), had a bass follow the 110 and later, I was able to catch 1 bass at a point with a rocky bottom when my 4 other buddies didn’t even get a bite. Could it be luck or the right bait? Wish they were a few bucks cheaper.
Features: The Googan Baits Rattlin’ Chunk is a 3 inch soft plastic craw profile jig trailer Essentially a hybrid of the Googan Rattlin’ Ned and Krackin’ Craw. Same flange claw appendages as the Craw, removable glass rattle of the Ned.
Excellent on a Ned rig mushroom head jig, in addition to traditional pairings like a finesse ball head or football head skirted casting jig. Available in 11 colors, 7 baits per pack. The Googan Baits Rattlin’ Chunk is a 3 inch soft plastic craw profile jig trailer with an internal glass rattle.
Effectively blending the designs of the Googan Rattlin’ Ned and Krackin’ Craw, the Rattlin’ Chunk has the same flange claw appendages as the Krackin’ and the removable glass rattle of the Ned. This design is excellent on a Ned rig mushroom head jig, in addition to traditional pairings like a finesse ball head or football head skirted casting jig.
The new Rattlin Chunk look great! I broke them out last weekend. The first few casts i did not get a hit. I thought it might be the Chunk, but i went to another spot and on the second cast it was slammed.
After that it was good catchins! Something different to throw. Thank you for vomin up with new baits to try. Im lovin the merch, vids, and tips on the Googan sites. You all are awesome! Keep ip the great work you all put yourselves into to help us fishermen.
The rattlin’ chunk doesn’t get as much attention as it deserves. I fish highly pressured, chocolate milk water up here in Illinois, and using the rattlin’ chunk as a jig trailer is in my opinion a great way to start learning jigs.
I like a black and blue jig with a bama bug chunk and it works amazing in ponds and lakes around me. Fishing the ihsa fishing tournamen this weekend, our teams only fish that day came off this bait. 5 out of 5.
The Mag II is an upsized worm perfect for flipping and pitching into heavy cover when the water heats up. But it’s also a killer out of ledges and other deep structures, crawled across the bottom where big fish let the current wash bait past.
The curled tail waves seductively and calls bass from a distance.
Single best worm for Texas rigging for largemouth. Results in keeper bass 80% of the time—although you will occasionally get one of those bass that is shorter than the worm they are trying to eat. I catch LM and spots on this worm year round—and so do many others that are not willing to share that with you.
Zoom trick worms get all the publicity but this is their Money Worm, make no mistake!.
I spent 15 dollars on these worms on 3 different colors and got a total of 60 worms. 27 cents a worm is just a price you truly can’t beat. They also are very durable and last much longer than the average soft plastic worms.
I was debating these worms or rebuying Googan Mondo worms and I don’t regret buying these worms do to their higher durability and better price per worm.
I love these in all black. I think these are the perfect size between a stick worm or 6″ curly tail and a larger item like the ol’ monster or ol’ monster magnum. They are more versatile than stick baits because they have decent action on the retrieve and can be used on the fall like a stick or on a moving retrieve almost like a swimbait.
Each Rage Tail lure has a unique and exclusive tail design and is engineered like no other soft plastic bait. Each is designed with a specific purpose and uses customized hi-grade plastics for superior action.
The Rage Twin Tail Menace Grub works great flipping, as a jig trailer or on Strike King Tour Grade Jig Head! It can be rigged vertically or horizontally and is the BEST swim jig trailer on the market!.
Got the sapphire color for brighter presentation for a jig trailer. Love these craws. Some I see use for swim baits and the action isnt great, but on a jig and let it sit in a pocket those flaps will move with suttle action when the fish are wanting an easy meal.
These and the Magnum versions are the best chatter bait, jig/swim jig trailers out there. Rig them vertical or horizontal and you will get some awesome action. If you are looking for matching jigs/swim jigs check out V&M.
Like getting two highly effective baits in one, the Bandit Lures Mistake Series Crankbaits offer a multifaceted design that is sure to keep your lines tight. Originally a special order, the unique two-tone design of the “mistake” colorway was quickly recognized for its effectiveness and adopted as a mainstay among Bandit’s crankbait offerings.
The Bandit Lures Mistake Series Crankbaits expand upon the original concept, expertly combining colors to give anglers a lure with no equal in terms of versatility. Toss the Bandit Lures Mistake Series Crankbaits to the left of a log or a stick-up and tempt fish with one presentation, then toss it to the right of the same piece of cover and show fish a completely different look – all without ever having to retie.
Internally, the Bandit Lures Mistake Series comes to life with a loud rattle that perfectly complements its wide-wobbling action. Armed with two sticky-sharp trebles, the Bandit Lures Mistake Series Crankbaits provide a truly original design that is unlike anything else on the market.

Bought this crankbait for a recent fishing trip and it outperformed all of my fishing buddies. It has a tight wobble and dives great. The spotted bass were killing it. I will be purchasing more of these in various colors and sizes.
I was using the chrome with blue back in the 300 size. BPS customer service & shipping issues were my only complaint. Would recommend only purchasing in-store as opposed to online due to these shipping issues.
Googan Baits Saucy Swimmer Soft Swimbait – The in line ribs and below the belly boot style tail on the Saucy Swimmer are designed to grab and disperse water while swimming to give the tail an irresistible wagging kick and the body a natural wobbling motion.
Use the Saucy Swimmer on a light weighted hook for shallow fish or rig it on a jig head for suspending deep fish. Sauce up a vibrating jig to amplify thumping action or use on spinnerbaits and buzzbaits for a more life like bait profile.
Available in 3 different sizes and a variety of delicious colors to match the forage in your water. All googan baits are infused with Slaunch Sauce and come aligned in clam packs giving you top notch action as soon as it hits the water.
These catch fish 100%. I normally fish for walleye and these really put more fish in the boat than minnows. Unfortunately they are very horrible quality. I use VMC jig heads most of the time and the wire keeper cuts thru the plastic so easily.
I use other plastics and don’t have this issue nearly as often. It happens every time after 2 fish, or within 5 casts. For a pack of 6 costing what it does vs say a Mister Twister 20 pack, I’m picking the Mr.
Keitech fan here! these plastics are not as thin/finesse as Keitechs, but let’s face it, it’s not Keitech. But it doesn’t mean its not going to work. I would say these kick stronger than Keitechs because their tails are not as finessey (if that is a word).
I like my swimbaits kicking strong and these will do! especially with their smell! Because it’s not loaded with the same amount of salt as Keitech, i Feel as it is a bit more durable!.
Bandit 300 Series fishing lures are designed to go deep, where the big fish go to feed. The 300 Series dives to 12 feet, and the extra-long bill digs into the bottom like a baitfish feeding on plankton or algae, and causing the lure to dart erratically, which triggers strikes.
Constructed from butyrate plastic and equipped with lead rattles, Bandit crankbaits make a dull rattling sound that sets them apart from most other crankbaits, convincing even the most heavily pressured fish to bite.
Popular as a casting lure for largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass and a trolling lure for crappie, the 300 Series crankbait is ideally sized to match baitfish that bass and crappies key on throughout the year.
The Bandit 300 Series comes in a wide range of colors to match the season, water conditions and weather, no matter when and where you are fishing.
The go-to big worm of tournament anglers the Zoom Ol’ Monster catches fish from Florida to California and everywhere in-between. Its considerable length slender profile and curled tail are great for targeting large bass but its alluring action will tempt strikes from bass of every size.
It’s also impregnated with salt to keep fish biting down hard after the initial strike. Fish it on a Texas rig Carolina rig or even a magnum shakey head.
For years if I wanted to use a worm I would just hook up a live night crawler. However once I started hooking more bluegill and sunnys I wanted to move away from them. I kept noticing my buddy was using these worms and was hooking good size bass frequently.
After a few years of watching him do it I finally bought myself a few packs last summer and it was well worth it. Caught my biggest bass of the summer last year on a black 10. 5 inch ol’ monster worm while walking along the shoreline of a lake at night.
I dropped it a little bit in front of him, bounced it one time and that was it. Hooked into some other nice ones as well last summer and this spring once the lakes thawed out and I use this both on shore and on the boat.
But when it comes to night fishing, outside of the hoola popper this is my favorite lure to use. Bass just cant seem to resist the way that tail moves when its falling to the bottom or when its bounced in front of them.
I have been trying to find these since early summer, but no luck. I checked all the local stores, bait shops and etc. ” All out, sorry, hope to have some soon, but with the COVID-19 out there I can’t promise.
” Bass Pro was out of them for awhile too, but luckily when I called them back another day (a few weeks), they finally had some. I bought 10 packs of 20, so I’m ready to go get’em as soon as the wind settles down, about Wednesday I think.
