I put these on a 2015 Silverado,I haul a 40 hp 4×4 tractor with a loader,and these air bags make all the difference. I only have to put about 25 psi and I have no sagging now. Makes the ride a lot better.

Install is not bad at all, took a couple of hours by my self. I would definitely recommend you have these if you do much towing at all. This is my third truck that I have had these on. I had a set on a duramax before,and I put them to the test on it,they held up flawlessly.

I would definitely recommend. And as always summit racing was great,order was quick and easy,ordered on a Monday and they arrived on Wednesday,don’t hesitate to buy a set.

Even though I have a fifth wheel installed I was able to use the u-bolts, no drilling required. Only issue was completing Step #1 which in the photo appeared to remove the support bracket for a large wire bundle when in fact it ended up being the support bracket for the brake lines.

All parts are heavy duty and installation was easy although I took more than two hours. Great product. Mounted a 2″ air gauge in bed of truck for quick reference while hauling my trailer.

The quality is excellent. The instructions were vague in some areas. I had to remove the first one I installed and redo it since the instructions weren’t that clear about the direction of the bottom plate.

I had to order a splitter valve since it only comes with one for each side and I wanted to be able to air up both bags at the same time, but it never came. I think the valve was stolen from my porch.

They should include this in the kit since one valve makes more sense. That’s why I gave it 4.

This was not an easy job at all. The exhaust system had 3 connections points that had to be taken off to drop the muffler to have access to mounting the hitch. Drilling the hole was okay and feeding the lugs, washers and nuts was okay.

The heat shield was a real problem as I cut it as shown in Utube videos but it was not enough and the shield was blocking one of the attachment bolts, so snip, snip and I got it in place. The rubber straps to reattach the exhaust system (3) were totally difficult to do especially the two on the muffler.

The tail pipe was okay. I had to lube the rubber fasteners and stretch the hell out of them to reattach. Finally got it. Looks great, works great. Oh year I was NOT on a life but on the ground.

Arrived in a box – nice! Hitch had one pretty good scratch on it – no worries, touched it up right away with some Rustoleum. Install kit was intact – that’s the main problem I’ve seen with these. Watched a video on YouTube for installing a U-haul hitch (looks exactly like the Draw Tite) on my 2017 Honda CR-V, and was spot on.

Took the gal in the video about 15 mins, took me 2 hrs, but hey, I’m an amateur, don’t have a lift, used jack stands, and was operating upside down under the back of the vehicle the whole time. There’s like 6 steps involved in the install, and each has its “Challenges”.

Overall, a pretty easy install and now we’re set to haul bicycles around!.

I got this for my 2015 Outback. I actually had the dealer install it when another garage didn’t want to drill into the frame because they didn’t have the right tool. That made me do some investigating and I found another reviewer somewhere mention that this can actually be installed using the Subaru install instructions for the OEM trailer hitch.

So I took it to my subaru dealer, cost a little more to install that way. Maybe $200-250, I can’t remember exactly. But the Subaru instructions include removing the rear bumper to get to the frame, so no drilling is needed.

This seemed much better to me for the integrity of the car. Well worth the extra $100 on the install. Still, the install plus this hitch came in lower than what the originally quoted me for to have the Subaru hitch with a little 1″ receiver.

I ordered this kit for my 1981 Ford F-150 4×4. Everything was shipped well and protected. I did have issues installing the passenger side I-Beam drop bracket as the flange on the drop bracket makes contact with the cross-member.

Instructions given say to bend or cut the cross-member tab but this was tough without a lift. The radius arm drop bracket hardware did not line up with the original radius arm bracket and I had to drill the openings out in order to get the hardware in.

Install instructions for the rear leaf springs are seriously lacking. Please be aware that you will need to measure your original leaf springs if you’re going with the leaf spring option as the new leaf springs provided are 3″ in width.

My hangar brackets were made for 2. 5″ springs so I had to drill out the rivets on each bracket and replace them with new hangers from LMC Truck. Overall I think this is a good lift kit for the price however, you should be aware that this is not as simple as bolt-on.

There is a significant amount of drilling and other mods that will be required. Highly recommend having a lift in order to do this.

Very easy to install. Look up Watch U-Hauls install video to learn a couple of tricks. “Drawtite hitch install 2014 Ford Explorer” Not as hard to wrestle in place as I expected. Since the truck has dual mufflers, I just rested the hitch across the top of the mufflers.

Although it is not visible in picture, mine came with the little tab welded to the hitch so you can install a plug connecter mounting bracket. I am very happy, this is a very clean looking install.

This hitch, despite what some of the other reviews state, is an easy to bolt on hitch that required no special skills to install. It does NOT come with hardware, which some reviewers complained about but it does not NEED any since the hitch utilizes existing bolts/hardware.

The instructions are well laid out and easy to understand if you actually need them (I did not). One note to ease installation. The muffler needs to be unbolted from it’s hanger, which is easy enough however despite that the fact that muffler is unbolted, the operating room above it to access a mounting bolt is quite small.

Unbolting will require the necessary socket but also realistically requires a universal joint attached at the point of the socket with a 6 inch extension. To make the job easier, since there is no swing room for a wrench, an impact gun with a universal joint will make life far easier for this install, specifically for the bolt above the muffler (that’s what i used) but it’s not mandatory.

Also, this hitch is compatible with “stow and go” seating, which is on my van (2012 dodge grand caravan). This is a two man install only because it’s quite heavy and wide. A floor jack will suffice if you don’t have a second set of hands to hold the hitch up as you perform the install.

Just figured I would offer my two cents.

One of the few hitches I have mounted that actually seemed to be made for the vehicle. All hardware, which is 6 bolts, 6 washers and 2 nuts is included. The Tacoma frame is already threaded with “weld nuts” that accept the 4 large anodized bolts.

My truck was new and had no frame corrosion. If the truck has been on the road you might have to clean up the weld nuts with a wire brush. As such the 4 main bolts threaded right in. The other 2 bolts actually thread in through the rear step bumper then down through the hitch.

Draw-Tite provides 2 fish wires to help position the rear most bolts. This was the only time consuming part. If someone can help you for a couple minutes to hold the hitch to the frame this job is easier.

I used a floor jack and some boards to hold it up as there was no one else to help. Anyway, all the holes line up, there is no drilling and all you need is a 1/2 inch drive socket set and you definitely do not need to pay an installer.

I went to several trailer speciality stores in the area and no one had this specific hitch (Reese 44101). Told me it had to be special ordered from Mexico and would take 8-10 weeks. Swung by my local Bremerton Autozone on Friday and they had it in on Tuesday.

Picked it up after work and had it installed by dinner time.

The hitch was as expected. The holes were drilled in the right places and easily bolted on. Ii would recommend this product to anyone needing a hitch.

My father has a Nissan Armada and we need to lower the carrier for mobility scooter. Now he can easily load and unload the mobility scooter by himself. Was easily to install and seemed to made like the stuff in the good ole days.

Heavy freaking hitch. Plus you can store other hitches in there too. Love it.

Great combo price! If you are wanting a smaller drop than this, these can be cut down to a desired length.

Not bad for the price. Would have liked it to have had metal wheels but I guess you get what you pay for. But it’s not bad at all.

Worked well on my legacy. Tows my snowmobile trailer. Sits a little low but works.

Well designed and fit perfectly! Easy to install on a vehicle designed for the retrofit. Do have an extra set of hands, it made the install that much easier.

Went in pretty easy. I have not towed anything yet, welds look solid, I expect no issues.

Super Lift is a Great quality product, not only a good fitting which makes installing much easier but gives my 1973 Blazer a nice stance sitting on my 35X12. 50-20’s !! Tightens her up and gives her a nice ride.

Also wanted to say thanks to Big John and Robert at Lift kits 4 Less. They were able to get me my complete lift kit while most of the springs and shocks are on backorder. They provided me with options and kept in contact with me during the process.

Time frame on shipping and certain things that are out of their control could be better but we should all know that with this covid virus going on the shipping industry is running like crazy. But for the most part I received the product that I wanted and saved quite a bit of money in the process.

The hardest part of installing this kit was getting the holes to line up in the front axle housing, it literally took hours to get the second (bottom) bolt into the housing on the first axle, the clearances are so tight between the 3 components and the bolt looked lined up but kept wanting to cross thread.

I got smarter on the second one and after getting things aligned as closely as possible I used a 3/4″ tapper to get it perfect, the bolt went right in then! This should be a tip included with the instructions, which by the way really sucked! Some pictures would help and the diagram for the radius arm bushings is indecipherable.

All pieces of the kit were high quality and fit well. I did order some extended brake lines separate from the lift and highly recommend the longer lines to avoid problems. All said and done it looks great and install is pretty basic ( I done several of these in the past though).

Everything worked just fine. I was concerned the chains might not be long enough but my Oxy/Acetylen bottles fit perfectly.

This kit is incredible if this degree of lift is desired. Perfect fit, better than stock ride and easily stuffed 295/65R20 tires under the truck without any rubbing. Probably could have gone with 37”.

Third lift from this company over the years on different GMC’s trucks. Strongly recommended.

Haven’t really had time to put too many miles on this lift, because of my work schedule it took 5 days to Install, but from what I can tell , the ride quality is already 100% better than it was. Was fairly easy to install by myself.

Will give a better review when I have more miles on.

The knuckles were heavy and solid, all the parts were there and instillation went well. I wanted a mild lift and slightly bigger tires. 285/65 R18 fit on the stock wheels and looks good. There is no rubbing.

I did buy the upper control arms that RC makes to improve the suspension a little more. Works well, drives well on the road. Just enough lift for light off roading or getting to your hunting or fishing spots.

End result was pleasing. Truck drives great on road, decent off road. Installed onto 84 Ranger. Not a perfect kit. at least mine wasn’t. Had to bend the tabs out on the extended radius arms to slide over the traction beams(axles).

The drop mounts aren’t perfect, but manageable. Instructions were a little off as far as hole size for drilling passenger side drop mount(use the larger bolts supplied). I wouldn’t beat the crap out of the lift kit, like extreme off roading though.

No sway bars and truck drives good. Overall it came out good. Maybe 12 hours working, reworking. It was a little bit of work, not a smooth operation. Satisfied though. 1984 Ford Ranger 4×4 single cab short bed.

No lift kit is easy to install (I’ve done five) and this one was no exception. Brackets fit reasonably well, were built well, it went together as intended. Four star rating is because all the bolt hdwr was 1/2″ where as the holes in all the brackets were 5/8″.

If that was intended, (directions seemed to indicate that) to me seemed to be a loose fabrication, or would become so. I replaced all the bolts with grade 8 hdwr, to the tune of $80. Not that big of a deal, kit was on sale, but not sure why you would have 5/8″ holes and use 1/2″ bolts, unless for ease of assembly.

I would rather wrestle with it a little more and have a tight product. I’m running down the the road at 70 plus, sooo! 1995 Chev w 82,000 miles. Nice toy!.

Instructions need to be more precise, too many vaguely drawn pictures and illustrations. Example: You may need to grind cooling fins on front differential, Wrong- You must grind fins , would be more like it.

You need to remember, people are cutting up their truck and grinding away things they can’t put back together. They need instructions stating they’re doing it right. I had to keep flipping to the rough country website to look at there detailed instructions.

1996 GMC K2500.

Shouldnt have had to invert sway bar. Was getting into tie rod ends. I fixed it. 4×4 drive shaft had to be removed untill i re-route exhaust. Other than that everything was perfect. 95 gmc k2500 suburban.

I installed this by myself in the garage using only jack stands and floor jacks , no lift needed. Mostly done with hand tools and a zawzal for the mods. Ride only changed a little due to the shock stiffness.

2007 2500HD Silverado.

No Installation Instructions sent with product, had to go on YouTube to find a video to finish installing lift. Not very helpful at all and very frustrating. It should come with detailed instructions and pictures or diagrams to help with installation.

Part of lift was on back order for a couple weeks and had to wait. Had on truck for about 2 weeks so far so good. 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 4X4 Duramax.
