20 Best Zinc Cream For Acne (2023 Updated)

Although this acne cream I was far warned by my esthetician that it has too many oils. But treesactive did great for my back acne so I thought so for my face. Well she told me if I begin too get white heads or more bumps to discontinue which exactly happen.

The only oil I recommended is tea tree oil which is good for the skin,hair and face steamer if u have one.

I liked the pleasant scent and cooling sensation of this product but unfortunately, it was either too strong, didnt agree with my skin, or had pore-clogging ingredients (perhaps a combo of those factors).

When one is dealing with blemished skin, there tends to be high hopes for effectiveness of products (especially after reading so many positive reviews). Disappointed to realize that this product was drying and exacerbated my acne.

I promptly stopped using it and my skin was able to recover. Just a fair warning that this may not be suitable for your skin and may not bring you the results you hoped for.

After using the product for 2 weeks, my acne is gone. Love the scent (citrus and mint) that works for guys (others all smell like my grandmother). The product is not too runny or too thick and makes a decent moisturizer.

The only downside is that for those with oily skin, it does make one shiny faster.

This ointment works great. It is very effective in getting rid of breakouts. It even helped to clear up a small bump that was noticeable under my eye. Other people who have tried it for skin issues and rashes, including my daughter who has bad acne, all have had much improvement with this product.

Plus I like that it is tinted and blends in well on my face and works great as a coverup that doesn’t rub off. I often will use a little in place of face makeup. Very natural looking.

The zinc cream has really kept my acne down, I get a few pimples here and there, but they go away very quickly (especially if I spot treat with the zinc cream in the AM). The cream does have a tint to it, which is a bit darker than my fair skin, but once I pat it completely into the pimple/let dry, my liquid foundation applies smoothly over the top to cover the area with no noticeable darker patch.

I really recommend this stuff, I am only sad I didn’t discover it sooner!.

5 Pack Dynarex Zinc Oxide Ointment Skin Protectant No. 1190 1 Oz Each. Met all expectations. Wish it came in larger tubes but otherwise very happy with my purchase. Difficulty finding any size so quite content with what I received.

I liked: works for soothing minor irritations and rashes, and competitive price. I disliked: only 25% zinc oxide. I was expecting 40%. Also, very thick, hard to squeeze out and spread.

This product is brilliant! I noticed zinc worked with my skin well and so I was after something more concentrated. I wear a stealth mask for work which upsets my skin and makes blemishes very angry. This really works at calming them and I haven’t worn makeup at all since using this! It smells gorgeous, like an expensive spa and the packaging is just to die for, I whip it out whenever I can to show it off.

Amazing moisturiser. Smells fresh, hydrates but sinks into the skin perfectly so your foundation goes over the top seamlessly. Used Estée Lauder all my life and will not go back now! Fab coverage too… you only need the smallest amount and it goes a long way so is lasting well! Buy… you won’t be disappointed.

This product caused me an allergic reaction which is very strange for a product supposedly made of natural products. This has not happened to me with any of the moisturisers I have been using. I got in touch with Typology who asked me to fill a long form.

Based on my answers they refunded the amount.

This is a good barrier cream. It does a good job protecting the skin and preventing breakdown.

This stuff is a must if you have Dry unhealthy looking skin! My dermatologist recommended the Dermazinc bar soap (which I use) and it healed up my skin in about 2 weeks! The Dermazinc cream I use is just as amazing as the soap! These products work wonders for me! Ill be using them for awhile.

i have had seborrheic dermatitis for 30 years. there is no cure but it can be treated. i have be prescribed countless products by many dermatologist. none of them worked as good as this. ironically enough no dermatologist has ever recommended this product to me.

This is the second most effect product I know of for the treatment of dry skin, inchiness, and rashes. The DermaZinc soap is still the most effective. However, the cream does work in conjuction with the soap for even faster results.

Probably the single best cream available for minor skin issues. Must be used sparingly so the 4oz tub lasts for several months.

This is basic zinc oxide. God quality. Everyone should have it in their first aid kit. It arrived quickly with no problems.

it really is a good cream but it can be quite thick for oily skin. Recommend to use at night or after clay mask. My skin can become quite dry due to clay mask and I use this. It was really moisturizing.

Not sure if it does much for acne but if your skin is compromised it is quite good in protecting and healing. overall, recommended for drier weather and dry skin with compromised skin barrier. in the photo you could see my face after the clay mask and the cream, it does absorb but take time.

Also, redness went down.

I bought it after reading on reddit that zinc might help with eczema. My lip area where I have eczema did not sting and didn’t feel tight, it had less flakyness. Upon waking up, my face was very shiny, so if it did not sting or aggravate my eczema, I’m okay with it.

Even though I applied sunscreen afterward, it seemed to slide off my face instead of staying put.

I got this for the zinc oxide. My skin is combination to oily but I am undergoing some treatments and my face becomes sensitive and dry for the first couple of days after the treatment. This cream is really moisturizing helping with the dryness and did not bother or irritate my already irritated/sensitized skin.

On the contrary i think it helped with the irritation. I use it at night, so although it fills a bit heavy on my face it does not bother me. It helped a lot with my issues and already ordered the second tube.

I suffer from psoriasis, and for years it affected the back of my ear lobes and entrance to my ear canal. TRULY this is the ONLY product that has had a long term affect – to the position where I am completely free of psoriasis in or on my ears after having used this lotion.

You must persist with it – I don’t think there is any product that works within five minutes. This “ointment” is actually a liquid so a small piece of cotton pad is good to apply it after shaking the bottle well. It works well for me to sooth and calm redness, inflamation and out breaks of acne rosacea.

It has a faint perfume like smell and is a translucent pink liquid which dries quickly so is not obvious on the face and foundation blends well over the top. I’m happy that I found this product.

My hands’ skin is always dry and sensitive to many soaps, shampoos and creams. But this zinc cream has been their protector and healer for four years now.

I already typed my review and there was an error so apologies if I lack detail this time round. First thing I noticed was the smell. I think this is very much a personal preference thing and it simply isn’t for me.

I cant quite put my finger on what it smells like to me, maybe old moisturiser? I wouldn’t buy again for this reason. In terms of the consistency it’s between a gel and cream which is nice. I’d say it takes a wee bit longer than other moisturisers I’ve used for the skin to absorb.

It states it was designed to help minimise the appearance of pores but I cant say I noticed that. Overall it’s a nice feeling moisturiser but nothing to write home about. I wouldn’t say don’t buy it but wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend either.

I bought a tube on a whim as I was looking for a new moisturiser. I’m so glad I did as my skin has never look clearer. I usually have a hormonal breakout once a month but haven’t had one single sore congested pore since using this product.

I’m truly amazed at how well this has worked and I didn’t need to spend a huge amount. I really like how it doesn’t leave a greasy sheen, it’s almost matt which mean putting make up on top is really easy.

It soaks in really fast but a little still goes a long way. I’ve bought an extra few tubes to keep me going for a while.

My review. I love Q + A products. They work so well for my mature skin, but. the product that has actually shocked me is ZINC PCA. I bought this moisturiser for a teenage relative who suffers from very congested and blemished skin.

I felt for her as nothing had worked so gave her the Q +A product as I trust the brand. After a week I visited and her skin was SO different already! The blemishes were fading away from their previous angry red to barely visible.

Another week later and her complexion is almost clear as day already. The results are fast and continue to deliver more and more. She is so happy!!! Mal. X.

Product was not as pictured. The only reasons we chose Rugby brand was that it said “USP” (ingredients certified by independent agency) on the label pictured. The product we got was Rugby brand, but not USP.

The product we got also contained more chemical additives than the product pictured. Not the product we ordered, so not happy.

This is what I use on my baby for diaper rashes. Its a thick formula, soothes instantly and protects all night. I apply a thick layer over the area and by morning its still there. I have used A+D and Boudreaux’s Butt Paste but I find this works better for my baby and lasts a lot longer.

Already done half of the 16oz container in 4 months.

The product is great, the packaging less so. Care needs to be implemented into the packing. Both times I’ve received this ointment, there has been an issue with one or more of the containers. Lids not on tight that came off during shipping, cracked and damaged containers.
