20 Best Yogurt For Dogs With Yeast Infections (2023 Updated)

My 2 older dogs (Pug 11 yrs and Chi 14 yrs) absolutely love these. I use them as a dailey glucosamine supplement. Have purchased many different kinds of expensive soft chew glucosamine over the past years, but they either don’t work or they refuse to eat.

Especially noticed it help my older Chi when ran out and was unable to find at local Walmarts for a few weeks. He was no long able to walk up stairs, and was noticeably stiff in his gait. They are hard to find in stores, as always sold out, at only $.

It gets 2 stars only because of the cost and because we know what they SHOULD be like. If the freshness comes back, it’ll easily get five! When we first bought them to replace the more expensive pill pockets, they fit the role superbly (for stuffing pills between the treats).

The freshness steadily went down hill. Now, when opening a carton, the once tender morsels literally turn to dust when trying to insert a pill into them indicating a level of freshness that puts a forty day old loaf of bread to shame.

Out of three boxes, two have to be tossed and one you have to be patient with to stuff the pill into it. Even merely breaking them in half for the little dogs is like breaking stale bread. The quality of freshness is horrible now.

I think they need to be checked. The stamped date on the box indicates next year, but that’s not right. For that price they’re good (hence the two); but you wouldn’t notice how stale they are if you’re going to pull them out of the carton and pop them straight into the dogs mouth.

Next time, before you do that, try breaking them apart first — and try inserting a pill into them. See how that goes. If they’re fresh like they were when we first found out about them, you should be able to squish the pill into the treat without it turning into saw dust.

I discovered these almost 10 years ago when my dog started having some minor back problems. The glucosamine and chondroitin ingredients in this “Joint Health Formula” combined with the yogurt flavor were a hit; whether or not they had any genuine impact on his back.

With his passing and the arrival of a new dog, who is now showing some hip problems, I am buying them again. And again, the boy loves them! I can’t vouch for what relief they might provide, but he seems to move a bit more freely when these are used as part of his daily regimen.

And at about a dollar per package, well worth a try.

Four Leaf Rover Gut Guard is a combination of herbs I was familiar with, but never before have I found them all in a single supplement. I have a dog who has taken daily prednisone for 6 1/2 of her seven years.

No one in the US was selling it. This product has changed our lives.

We have a diabetic Labrador Retriever. It has been a rough 6 months for us. So much upset tummy, throwing up after eating. Losing food after eating and an insulin injection causes a major dip in glucose levels and intervention by us to avoid sugar crash.

After multiple trips to the Vet with tests results providing us with nothing, we decided to do it ourselves. We are 2 weeks in to Gut Guard. He gets it with each of his meals of shredded chicken, broccoli and rice.

We are doing amazingly well! Instead of a day of throwing up, and laying in the backyard drooling we went to our favorite hiking trails yesterday! His quality of life has improved significantly and we are thankful to be getting back to a normal life of a happy active dog!!!!.

This product works without a doubt. Almost like a miracle! My Akita puppy was only 6 months old and he was having terrible “growing pains” as the vet called it. They said all of his joints and bones are fine with great range of motion but he was slow to stand and lethargic.

My 6 year old 25lb heeler/terrier mix has been picky her whole life, and would occasionally to regularly eat grass and throw up foam. When I took her to the vet for it as a 1 or 2 year old, they said she might have acid reflux.

Last year, a different vet, I was told she was showing pancreatitis symptoms. I googled what to give her food wise so I changed her diet (the vet told me what I already googled later on when I asked to confirm) and I also read online that probiotics can help dogs with different stomach problems and so I looked up different reviews and decided on this.

She LOVES these. She eats them like they’re a treat! Ever since I started her on these she ACTUALLY EATS. And FINISHES HER FOOD. She acts like actually likes food now, and I haven’t had anymore problems with pickiness/throwing up.

The vet didn’t recommend it (she wasn’t against it I just didnt ask her), I did it of my own accord and wish I had done it YEARS AGO. I’m about finished my 2nd 120ct container. I even started my 116lb lab mix on the powder version of this because he was also irregular with his eating and picky and he now also eats way better than before.

We’ve been using NaturVet Advanced Probiotics with digestive enzymes for a couple of years now. Our dog was having digestive problems that got worse with age. She was eating grass (a sign of an upset tummy), her stool was loose & she had unbearably stinky gas.

We mix water with our Maltese’ prescription food and dump it into her slow-food bowl (she is an EAGER eater). We then put her pills (fish oil tablet, garlic tablet, Nauturvet Chew) in a separate bowl.

Our dog will eat two bites of her food, look for the chew in the other bowl, then return to her food (which is consumed at record speed). The fact that she will leave her food to get the chew speaks volumes.

My dog likes these cookies and will willingly eat them no problem. Two main issues: The amount of yoghurt icing is actually minimum (much less than the pictures) so I am not sure how much probiotics he is getting.

And I have read that the correct probiotics can calm your dog, but there is no information on what kind of bacteria/what strains are in the cookies. I would give these as a treat which MIGHT help with calmness but realistically looking to see if the PurinaProPlan Calming probiotics will help.

doesn’t “chill” your puppy out per say but I think the reason they put that on the product name is because of the probiotics in the cookies. The probiotics essentially help their gut perform more efficiently and we all know a dogs mood starts with what’s in their gut.

I was hoping there would be an ingredient like valerian inside of the cookies that helped with anxiety but ive also noticed that just keeping her gut in check and making sure she has vitamins and probiotics along with a good diet, helps her chill a little bit.

I bought herbal anxiety drops recently so ill experiment with how these yogurt cookies, her vitamins, and the drops help her.

Unfortunately the yogurt drops had congealed into a solid mass after apparently exposed to heat en route to our home. That said, after pounding and chipping away the pieces were well received as treats by our trio of sugar gliders.

The copious small crumbs & the pile of yogurt dust were similarly enjoyed mixed with fruits or the standard pellets in their diet. All’s well that ends well. Given the times we exist in these days I will accept the possible risk of melting and be grateful none of our little friends took ill for the treats.

A household favorite! All of my pets love these, they are the only treats my sugar gliders accept, my hamster eat them readily, and they are able to be softened enough for baby hamsters to eat. I participated in a Chatterbox event and received this product for free. I was looking for something that my 13 year old Chi-poo would enjoy as a treat. In her younger years, she loved everything. Now with age, she’s become very picky as to what she eats and what she considers a good treat.

These Milk-Bone Dipped Vanilla Yogurt treats were a hit! I was very surprised because she doesn’t usually go for sweeter items. She actually asks me for one at least once a day now and she loves to take it to her favorite pillow, pretend to bury it for about 10 minutes (hiding it from the cats, I presume) and then she eats it.

Our dear miniature Schnauzer has been on the low-fat formula for years to ease her issues with Pancreatitis and now Diabetes. She was thriving well, few pancreatitis flare-ups, good body condition, happy and otherwise in great shape because of her low-fat diet.

Unfortunately, we have just discovered that we were given the wrong Gastrointestinal formula, by mistake. My husband thought the bag was different but couldn’t figure out how. It turns out that the line “Low Fat” (Dry Dog Food) was missing.

There is a difference in fat content between the two versions of Gastrointestinal. Our dog has been under intensive care for over a week now with a flare-up of serious proportions. The two versions of Gastrointestinal are so easy to mix up.

Perhaps Royal Canin could change the photo of the dog on the Low-Fat version and stipulate “Low-Fat Gastrointestinal” for visually motivated people. This may help owners and pooches in the future. A large, red sticker across the front of the bag would help until you can make a proper change to packaging.

The ingredients changed summer of 2022. I started my dog on this brand years ago for the probiotics and holistic factor as I did the research and found the ingredient list to be high quality. Post Covid I understand things have been changing on many levels when the bag weight was decreased from 30lb to 28lb.

Unfortunately the bag label also changed and as I finished the old bag happened to notice the kibble was significantly drier and smaller. So I looked at the label and found variances although the bag says nothing about a new formula.

Probiotics went from 31million CFU to 10 million. New product added taurine. No iron on new label but ingredient list shows Iron Proteinate (same as original and still 9th ingredient from last; so I can only assume there’s no less than 275 mg), new has no vitamin c, more egg than barley, and a couple other variances.

Due to lack of transparency and visual quality variance, I’m personally inclined to doubt quality of manufacturer as it’s clearly not the same. I’m still buying this for my dog but looking around. Im not saying this is horrible food.

I purchased intentionally at onset in lieu of adding probiotics to food. 10 bil CFU is standard, so the new food does provide the daily allowance. I’m on the fence why they wouldn’t indicate there’s a change and for not labeling iron as a mineral.

The way the ingredients list changed doesn’t seem like a big deal but when I look at quality, I can see noticeable difference as to something I may not give my dog. It looks grey instead of moist, rich and nutritious.

For these reasons, I suspect the nutrition label isn’t telling the whole story. Also, you’d probably not notice a new volume weight because the bag doesn’t point out/ advertise *new size but does list it on the bottom.

The price is still the same, and effort went into changing packaging so the 2lbs is barely noticed. Chewy CS confirmed the size change moving forward, when I inquired. I guess it’s up to interpretation if these are concerns but wanted to share what info isn’t being shared transparently from the manufacturer and misidentified nutritional content labeling.

I usually swap bags and never would’ve known this formula changed had I not saw the kibble was dry. I actually thought it was a bad batch of food but guess this is the new normal for Dr Gary’s. Photos show quality and mind you that the old large kibble recipe was at the bottom of my food container and lost some of the moisture.

The fresh out of bag nuggets looked almost wet but you can see what you were getting considering how healthy it still looks, months after opening.

We are SO happy with this formula of food! It has been impossible to find kibble that is above 550 kcals for my poodle who can not keep any weight on. This kibble was the perfect match though. It fit my budget better than the competing brands with similar kcals and formulas and it also was a win for my SUPER picky poodle who sometimes will go many days without eating if he doesn’t like the food.

He scarfed his first bowl of this down with no problems! We are going to pair it with the freeze dried food we use and hopefully this will be the food to FINALLY put some healthy weight on my scrawny boy! I’m also very pleased with how well it was manufactured.

The bag came very tightly sealed and has a zipper seal so it can be kept right in the bag and stay fresh! We will be buying this food again! It’s a lesser known brand (honestly hoping it stays that way so I don’t have to go on crazy searches like I do for our old foods that constantly were out of stock!).

Love the quality of this food, love that my Great Dane loves it. the packaging is the BEST I’ve ever seen. all great except the kibble is so small my cats can eat it! This is Giant Breed specific dog food.

why cannot the kibble be giant sized too! Ugh. anyone with a large jowled dog, I’m sure would agree this small kibble is a pain. one look to the left. all over the floor. one look to the right. all over the floor!!! Unfortunately, my Dane will not eat off the floor.

well that is Fortunate in other aspects, anyway he eats his food from a standing dog feeder and therefore more distance for it to fall from his mouth and more momentum to bounce off his rug onto the hardwood floor which gives it just the right platform to bounce, tumble and roll all over the place! But with all that and it’s a big pain, picking it up and it’s like stepping on a pebble when you are barefoot and that just hurts but with even that, I continue to buy.

because all the good in this dogfood out weighs all that! Its truly the best food that my dog loves that I have ever found. Now my dog isn’t really picky. He will eat what I give him at least a little or when he is just really hungry but he gets excited for this food even still now after feeding him it for at least 4-5 months now.

I originally got this product for my dog. I noticed that he started to get a rash on his underbelly, later found out it’s because he has an allergy to pollen and he liked to rub all over the grass. Fast forward a year or two, I took in a dog with fur loss and really bad skin problems.

At first, I thought it was mange, but after using this, I noticed how much of a difference her skin looks now! She had red skin with scabs and now it’s not red at all and her fur is finally coming back.

I wish they made bigger bottles of this stuff! I pour some in a spray bottle and use warm water to dilute it. Though it’s not necessary to do so, I’m trying to conserve as much as I can so that I can use it longer on her without having to go spend another 8$.

Long story short, if you’re looking into getting this for your dog that seems to be having rash problems, I highly suggest you get it. And I hope that someday in the future they may be able to make something like this into shampoo or something of that sort.

I never write reviews, but had to comment on how well this works in case it will help someone else. I have a 4 year old Golden Retriever with chronic skin issues and hot spots. We’ve had multiple trips to the vet where I hear its probably just an allergy and common for retrievers.

Common or not, our poor dog regularly gets spots that make him suffer so I’ve been on a mission to find an at home treatment that would help. I’ve tried multiple creams, ointments and shampoos and nothing outside of a vet prescription has worked until this.

It took a few days, but his spots are clearing up and the constant attempts at licking and scratching have stopped. If you’ve been unsuccessful at treating skin issues, give this stuff a try! The smell is pretty strong (reminds me of Vick’s Vapor Rub) but its worth it for a few days to get relief and far less expensive that a vet prescribed ointment.

I bought this to soothe my girls paws after she ran them raw playing on concrete. This claims to relieve pain but I’m not sure how to measure the effectiveness since she can’t tell me if her pain is relieved or not.

But the ointment did make her rough pads soft by the next day. The consistency is like a regular ointment. It kind of like melts when you rub it between your hands which makes it easy to spread on her paws.

It smells like ice hot thing that humans use. My girl didn’t mind the smell. The ointment kind of got on the bed sheets and left a little spot but it doesn’t really matter to me. She didn’t really lick the ointment off her paws.

I would recommend. The bottle is smaller than I thought it would be. It’s half the size of my hand but a little goes a long way so it should last.

These sandals are gorgeous. They’re well put together and comfortable for the size of heel that they are. The packaging is really nice (each shoe has its own dust jacket), too. I ordered a half size up, which seemed to be the right call.

I can’t wait to wear these out. They’re definitely a show stopper.

I know this product is fine because they vets prescribe it , however it has not worked on it’s own and the dog was given anti biotic tablets. After 10 days on tablets and pro kolin nothing has improved.

Vet thinks anal gland problem but will now send off sample for analysis but for the next few days before sample is sent NO medication to be given.

These treats are beloved by both my dog and myself. Every night my dog falls asleep on the couch and at some point meanders her way into the bedroom and hops onto the bed. Occasionally she will hop directly onto my knees, or need help getting up if she’s too snoozy.

I will leave one of these treats on the path towards the bedroom and the loud crunching of the treat will give me a heads up that she’s about to join the snuggle puddle! These were also a favorite while we were crate training, she would feel content to hang in her crate as long as she got one of these!.

We bought these in a smaller size bag and my dog loved them. We bought the same flavor in the 45oz bag and the whole bag was burnt. He likes them enough, but I do not know why they thought it was acceptable to ship like this.

They were several shades darker than the first bags. Very disappointed.

These are very hard and looked like they had been over cooked/burnt. In reading other reviews it looks like others noticed this as well and they weren’t always like this. My dog likes them well enough but sometimes I have to smash with a meat tenderizer to break it up first.

Perhaps a quality control issue at the company?.

I wanted this to work for my West Highland Terrier so badly. He has been struggling from itchy paws and hot spots for over a year. We’ve changed proteins many times and he’s been on a raw diet since he was a pup.

We followed the protocol to a tee, and stopped giving his Cytopoint shot. He seems to have gotten worse not better. I am at my wits end, he needs a bath everyday just to remove the scaly crusty skin.

I bath him with a colloidal silver soap and dry him completely but he is itching, biting and licking by morning. I don’t want to go back to the allergy shots, but he is suffering. I think the next step is to have him allergy tested, because unfortunately this protocol did not work for him.

I don’t doubt for a second that these products are top notch quality but they clearly don’t work for every dog. My intention was to finish this up and move to the leaky gut protocol, but since I haven’t seen any improvement with this one, I will likely try something else.

My pug has been having skin and allergy issues for the past 3 years, this was our last resort, we had nothing else to turn to because we tried it all. A great thing about this protocol is that my pug doesn’t react badly to it! Usually when we feed something new, even supplements, she’ll get more itchy and or grow more red bumps but this time it didn’t happen.

It has been 23 days since we started the protocol. I have to say – it’s not a miracle product. I wish my pug will just get better being on this but she has yet to. She’s still itchy, still having yeasty ears and paws, still growing red bumps.

However, she’ve had all these for 3 years so I’ll be patient and complete the protocol to see how it progresses! The Dogs Naturally and Adored Beast team has been amazing, they’ve been responding to my enquiries well and provided options on how I can switch between the leaky gut repair kit and YBP if I think just YBP is not helping so we can do some gut healing.

My dog gets a yeast infection around dec every year. This year was a little worse because he got fixed and it seems to affect his genital area the most. This time it got to the point where his skin was black and leathery.

I feed him well so it’s an external factor that I can’t figure out, so it’s something we just had to deal with. His skin has been getting better and better and the itchiness has almost went away. I’m about to start a second round because we’re not quite there yet and I know sometimes yeast infections can be stubborn.

He spends a lot of time outside and is wet down there a lot, but I’m not going to stop him from having fun. I’ve tried a lot of other things but this seems like the only product that really helps. Next time all just get this system right away instead of trying others suggestions.

I’ll readily admit that I’m not the biggest fan of most yogurts either because they come across as slightly too sour or the texture seems to be all wrong. Yogurt, however, is one of those food items that I want to enjoy and I want to like it.

I just haven’t found the right one. I may not be able to say that anymore, though, as this one may be it. I’m usually a little skeptical of yogurt with fruit in it, as it can often taste quite artificial.

This yogurt and the fruit on the bottom is delicious. I’m anxious to try to the other varieties, as well. The texture is just right, the tang is spot-on, and it’s just a cup full of fresh-tasting goodness.

If you haven’t been satisfied with your yogurt choices or if you’re just looking for something new and different, I definitely recommend trying this yogurt. I’m excited to see what else is available.

I am actually sad that this product was discontinued and hope it is brought back. My boy gets red paws from walking in the back yard due to all the rain and standing water. (we live in Louisiana and the smallest rain fall makes our small back yard a swamp for days) I use it every evening after he has gone out for the last time.

I wash his paws and then spray once on the bottom of each paw. Since I started using yeasty beast he has not licked his paws and they have not turned red. Recommend!.

My dog has a serious yeast infection. It’s recommended to use Yeasty Beast Anti-Itch Spray with the Leaky Gut Repair Kit. When I used the kit a few months back the Yeasty Beast Anti-Itch Spray wasn’t available.

So I didn’t repeat the kit again when I bought the spray. I still have some spray left, but to date I don’t see my dog getting that much itch relief. This product is very sticky and it does stain. So I used it before we go or out walks.

That way it has time to get absorbed into my dogs skin and it doesn’t wind up staining her bed, carpets, floors, etc. I will say that simply because I didn’t have the success I had hoped for with Yeasty Beast Anti-Itch Spray, that you should give it a try anyway.

I bought Yeasty Beast Anti-Itch Spray because I have a dog with hot spots that occur often and are sometimes severe. I am constantly in search of something that will stop the itching, heal the sores and preferably something that she wouldn’t lick off before it has a chance to work.

This isn’t it. I have to hold her until the spray dries in order to see any benefits. Two other negatives are the spray leaves a yellowish color and makes the hair stiff. Vetericyn works just as well without the discolored and stiff hair.

I do, however have to hold her until the Vetericyn dries to keep her from licking it off, but it stops the itching and heals the sores.

My cat can be fairly picky, and oftentimes the foods she turns her nose up at are things that I would as well. I feed her a lot of wet foods from the Weruva line, but this was my first experience with their Truluxe brand as Chewy was having a sale.

Upon opening the can, it immediately looked appetizing and smelled much like a can of grocery store tuna. There is quite a bit of gravy as well, mixed in with large chunks of fish. She also seemed to love it, which is probably the most important thing.

I would likely buy it again if it were on sale, though the non-sale price is too steep for me.

I was really looking forward to trailing the new Purina for small dog because although I’m very happy with her diet it’s always good to have back-up options. The design is super exiting and happy, definitely an alluring package.

The contents are exactly the same, varied in size and style with balls of flavour and bone shaped flavours, I almost wished to be a dog considering how luch the food looks. Now my princess is extremely fussy refusing to eat anything different to her usual with the exception of goodies of course! I found it quite different to introduce this Purina which doesn’t surprise me as she’s a creature of habit.

A few times she’d eat some but it’d be mixed with her usual. I felt a bit disheartened as I’m sure that it’s a great option, just not for princess. After many failed attempts I used the food as treats which she loved! There’s been no bad effects, her toilet remained the same and she loves them as treats.

Unfortunately I’ve not managed to incorporate this into her but have found a tasty treat. Sorry I can only review as the product went down for us.

Having a small dog like my chihuahua she has difficulty eating any dry food where the pieces are bigger than a pea. I’ve tries several different brands and types, even breed specific one but never found one quite right for her.

This one is looking good so far. The food is just the right size for her to chew. The hard biscuits are small enough for her to eat without difficult and the larger moist meaty chunks are not so big that she can’t manage to at them.

I mix it with a little wet food and she eating up every bit. Will keep using this food as it works out better for me as I used to end up throwing some of their food every day. So far impressed as I’ve tried every other food out there, think I’ll be sticking with this from now on.

The Bakers by Purina Adult Dog Chicken and Vegetables Dry Food comes in a 3kg plastic bag, which clearly displays all the information you need to make an informed choice on picking the right food selection for your furry baby.

Unfortunately, once you open the bag, it can not be resealed as the bag has no closing zipper or zip lock system to keep the food airtight and fresh. This can be a problem as if you do have a fussy doggy like we do despite her loving food, if the dry mix isn’t fresh i.

e. it’s more brittle to touch and less crunchy I know our doggy will turn her nose up at it. A bit like when you leave crisps open and don’t finish them and not reseal the bag, they just don’t taste nice the next day.

We are currently keeping our bag closed with bulldog clips as we do not dispense our food from a plastic bin. Our dog really has started to enjoy this dry mix as the pieces are medium sized which is great for her Shih Tzu sized mouth and colourful in different shape which gives some interest to the food.

They are not as dusty as other dry mixes we have tried in the past. I have reviewed the price of this product via online shopping platforms and this product averages out at £5. 00 per 3kg bag which is quiet expensive when there are other dry mixes on the market at better value for money that are gluten free and designed for sensitive tummies when comparing product weights and benefits.

Thanks to this stupid brand I got food poisoning. I was vomiting for 3 days straight. And now when I eat certain foods I puke it all up. Y’all gave me a fear of food now.

This is my favorite Greek Yogurt. I love the consistency of it and like to serve it with granola and blueberries or strawberries. It is velvety smooth and delicious.
