12 Best Yellow Led Fog Lights (2023 Updated)

Has well defined beam pattern with sharp cutoff for fog lights. Color is good for true fog light capability (I’m a optical physicist specializing in optical scattering and vision. And yes, broad orange is a good wavelength of light, definitely not bluish light!).

I bought some other orange protective covers that will serve during the winter with salt/gravel/sand and save the original lenses. These are quite expensive. I bought some other much cheaper “fog lights” but they are white.

I’m looking to modify those with an orange filter but for those wanting a bolt-on solution. These lights are true fog lights. My only beef is that the wiring harness is a bit cheesy especially compared to my “cheap” white fog lights.

I may swap the harnesses because they are compatible. I would have expected a higher quality harness and on/off switch considering the price.

Replaced my stock fog lights on my 2015 GMC 2500HD, with the help of the Rigid Industries Fog light kit. Would have been easier to install if I removed my front bumper, but I was able to get the job done.

lights seem to work perfectly after a couple times re-aiming them. they are a wide light pattern and have a distinct cut off line on the top and bottom of the light. unlike their “off road only” lights.

Seem very high quality. Haven’t installed them yet, as I’m waiting for my fab shop go finish my custom bumpers. Came with wiring harness and switch which seems of great quality. Got these selective yellow ones for foglights on my 06 tundra.

Will update with pics on truck once installed! Update, finally installed. Very bright. I love them.

The lens it self probably could be re worked and made better, personally I’d love to see a darker amber lens in comparison to these yellow lens! I will say though the brightness and the amount of light coming from these is way better then most of its comp! And it’s construction has it lasting a long time! If u want lower costing ditch lights with all the quality get these! U won’t regret it and I have rigids!.

These lights are awesome. The white light really makes a difference at night and adds a bit more of luxury to my car without having to spend a ton. Definitely makes my car look from this century than the dim yellow light that comes by default.

I like this unit and brand because everything that the light needs to work, comes engineered into a single pice like car bulbs do. These are not like others that just have the LED light with an extra dongle connected to it that is necessary to make it work.

For me that makes the product more susceptible to breaking. I bought these on April 2020 and still shining great. No dimming or loss of color.

Installed today on 2018 VW Golf. Nice snug fit for install just like OEM. Looks wise I much prefer the white light vice the yellow halogen. It suits my driving lights best. Functionality wise, I know it won’t be as effective in the fog.

It does scatter a good strong amount of white light to the sides which the OEM ones did also but more yellow of course. No CANBUS error on dash and did not need a resistor. It was just plug and play.

Hoping they last a while. Will update at a later date. In the pictures of the vehicle against the garage, one pic the Fogs lamps are off and in the second image they are on. You can see the light spread to the sides with them on.

These lights are awesome! Install was easy, plug and play. They are way better than oem. This was a great upgrade.

There work perfectly as intended and make watching out for deer and rocks easy. The brackets that are recommended were not needed for me so it is unfortunate I lose 10$ on the return for something recommended and is not needed.

Theses are without a doubt,the best and brightest yellow driving fog light. I am thinking of adding another pair on the pillars,also changing out my ditch lights for the white lights,they have been super hard to find,so if you can get them,,,don’t wait.

This is the best lumens I can find for this color. In my state yellow and amber bulbs can face forward. As long as my lights and signals work properly. Everyone kept flashing me with my white fog lights assuming my high beams were on and that’s initially why I changed colors.

Works great in the fog and snow with enhanced visibility. My fog light got water stuck in it from a puddle and the light is resistant against water and still works.

Exactly what I was looking for! I have been wanting yellow fogs for my wife?€?s 2011 Pilot for some time now, but I didn?€?t really want to wrap the lights like a lot of people do. These fit the bill, giving me the factory look while the car is parked, but giving me the performance and benefits of a yellow fog light when driving.

Easy to install and worked flawlessly. And in my personal opinion look great, even when paired with a high performance halogen low beam, rather than an LED or HID low beam. Only complaint is that the light seems to be a little more on the line green side than I would prefer.

But with that being said, the light would probably look the right shade of yellow if I were to wrap the dogs with a yellow wrap. Overall: great product!.

They are tremendously brighter than the originals! The yellow color allows far greater road clarity in the fog. They are great for lighting up the roads on those nights that seem to eat the light. They make an extraordinary difference.

They also dramatically increase your vehicle’s visibility to other drives as well.

Great quality and work nicely! I had to purchase a fog light adapter to fit my steel bumper. Also needed to trim the 2 outside tabs off the fog lights in order to align the light properly into the steel bumper.

No problems with the install, as long as you don’t mind a little cutting and grinding! Awesome product and pair nicely with my KC LED Headlamps.

I chose these fogs over any other brand because KC has been around for over 50 years and their quality is bar none. These lights are great. Only issue I have with them is that the light is thrown a little more to the sides but I think that can be corrected with adjustments.

Overall if you are looking for a set of street legal fog lights for your 3rd gen Tacoma, these should be one of your first choices.

very satisfied. before i felt very insecure with the dim light projected from the stock bulbs. lots of dangers on the snowy roads in alaska. i can see twice as wide and as far, helping ensure i don’t hit any moose coming my way and can see further down the road for any ice patches.

will upgrade to these bulbs with any used car i own in the future.

Great addition to my truck love the switch back feature. Super bright white light just wish yellow was as bright.

Too early to tell on reliability side but light color is close to 5000-6000k, brighter than OEM,. plus the option to change from day light to fog (yellow) is GREAT.

Installed the Alla LED fog light bulbs on a 2005 Porsche Boxster S Model 987. I replaced the factory original front fog light bulbs with Alla Lighting 5200 lumen (2600 per bulb) AL-R H8 Extreme Super Bright 6K color, xenon white.

There were no code errors on dash display, so I did not need load resistors. Much brighter and color is more blue than the stock bulbs. They look great. Installation was finicky due to Porsche design and the fact that the Alla lamp base is larger than the original.

To install: Remove two screws under plastic light fixture, then fiddle with fixture until it pops out of bumper. Remove electrical plug from old bulb (squeeze both tabs simultaneously, then pull plug.

) Twist and remove old bulb. If the old red rubber o-ring is still in the fixture plug hole, then remove it – the Alla bulb has a new red o-ring already in place. Insert and twist lock the new Alla bulb, then loosen the lamp base with tiny provided Allen wrench.

You can now rotate the flat tab that contains the two LED chips. Look inside the light fixture – if you orient the tab so one LED is on top, the other on bottom, then you cannot fit the light fixture back into the car.

So instead orient the tab so the two LED chips point to the left and right. This is important: also choose the orientation where the plug and wires will face up towards the underside of the front hood – if they face horizontal, the fixture will not fit.

Now lock the LED tab in place by tightening Allen screw. Reinstall plug on lamp base. This is a good time to turn the car on and make sure the new bulb is working. Now the next finicky step: To slide the light fixture back into the car, you must do it this way: A black plastic cylinder sticks out behind the fixture, sort of in the middle.

Rest that plastic cylinder on the end of the horizontal guide rail in the car bumper opening. Note the little tab on the back of the flat outside tongue of the fixture – it is supposed to mate with a small hole on the bumper.

Now gently slide the light fixture along the guide rail and up into the bumper opening, making sure the little tab eventually mates with the hole in the bumper. (If you do not use the guide rail as instructed above, I guaranty the fixture won?????t fit properly.

) The two screw tabs underneath the light fixture should now be lined up with the matching screw tabs in the bumper opening. Make sure the light fixture is in the correct position, then reinstall and tighten the screws.

Test light again. Hopefully success is yours!.

I have a Hyundai Sonata 2012 SE 2. 0T. I always wanted yellow fog lights and when one of my stock bulbs died, I bought these. The install difficulty is more of how Hyundai designed access to the fog lights than to this product.

Once you get access, these LED bulbs just fit. The fit seems good with no wobble or looseness. I made sure to install the elements point left & right and not up & down as you can easily loosen a lock-nut on the bulb and reorient the part that contains the LED.

They are much brighter than the stock bulbs and throw light a little farther than my stock headlights. The beam pattern seems just at 180 degrees, which could be wider than the old fog light bulbs, but these are so much brighter.

Even though my old bulbs were dimmer, I would occasionally get on-coming traffic flash their highs at me thinking I had my high beams on. So far I haven’t had anyone do this since yellow is softer on the eyes than even soft white.

After 2 months of use, I have zero complaints about these bulbs.

I purchased my used 2009 Hummer about two years ago and the fog lamps already installed have been my main night vision lights. I only purchased these to compliment the H13SLBX2 headlamp bulb replacements.

The original bulbs outlasted the H13SU. BP2 bulbs I received for Christmas shortly after purchasing the Hummer. I expect these LED replacements to last AT LEAST as long as those Sylvania 9140 basic bulbs.

Though 9140s tend to outlast 9145s, that is only because of the extra heat generated by the lower resistance of the 9145s. These LEDs have no excuse for lasting less than their advertised 5-years. Since I have never complained about the light output from those 9140s, and the LED replacements do operate and seem to match the color intensity of the H13SLBX2s, I expect that I will be happy with their performance at night.

However, if you are interested in some thorough EIA testing, let me know. We can do thermal shock, salt spray, even vibration testing. Since so many reviews of the H13s seemed to be from people who received free samples, and I paid quite a bit of money out of my own pocket for these, I don’t think I’ll give much more of a review other than the replacement was simple, and I had no issue with installation and no CAN bus warnings.

I also love the fact that there is a picture of my wife’s white Subaru Legacy on the back of the box. If only you folks could provide a kit for retrofitting fog lights into a 2019 Legacy Premium. since they installed EyeSight in that year and the 2018 switch location is now occupied by the EyeSight system.

Perhaps you could create a kit which is driven by the battery and taps into parking lights and ignition+ to trigger the power relay? Changing the left stalk does nothing since the wiring is not already included in the harness if factory fog lights are not installed.

Funny to see that the photo on the box does not suggest installing the H11SL. BX2 in the low beam position or the H13SL. BX2 in high beams. not DOT approved.

I love the fact that these were THE PERFECT match, the color of the new fog lights, to my F-250s headlights. I don’t think any other product could have come closer. Im so happy with the look, and performance of these.

Since I am up so much higher than regular vehicles, its hard for me to drive through the dense clouds and steam coming off the lakes. My headlights are just as useless as a car with their high beams on in the fog.

These are amazing in these conditions, I can confidently see better due to the brightness, and expanded visibility of these fog lights!.

I ordered some Morimotos 2 Stroke 3. 0 for my 2007 Ford Expedition. It takes 9145s in the Fog Lights, they sent 9005s , sad they won’t fit my truck. So in the mean time I’m trying these to see how well they hold up.

Already using Morimotos in the headlights and really like the results.

Plug and Play fog bulbs for 2012 f150 replacing Marsauto leds that replaced oem halogens a couple weeks ago. These lights are as bright as my Hikari Ultra led headlights and a perfect color match. The ability to switch from white to yellow and back is really cool.

The beam pattern looks great after one test drive so I am not expecting any issues of blinding other drivers. I knew the switchback feature would be fun and practical from videos I watched but it is much more impressive in person.

The switch from white to yellow is easy. Both colors look great with my truck so I am sure I will be switching white and yellow needlessly. Installation of these fog bulbs caused no issues or interference.

I am very happy with these and just hopeing for good long term results.

I bought these for my 2013 Fiat 500c Abarth fog lights thinking they were going to fit right into the assembly, but they don’t. The base of the LED is too far up and too wide for the LED to go in fully without modification.

I managed to jam them in after snapping off the little clips. Luckily, where you see that red/orange rubber seal on the LED bulb, there is a gap that makes the base just thin enough to jam into the housing & since its a thin gap, they don’t fall out & are held in place.

However, they don’t go all the way in, so the bulbs are nowhere near as bright as some of the pictures here show. I am going to try shaving down some of the bulb’s base further so that it can go in as far as it needs to go, and I will update my review.

They aren’t bright at all right now, but they still look really good & I’d still recommend these. Just make sure that the mounting point of this LED (area where you see that red/orange rubber strip & clips) is the same or very similar to the ones on your stock bulbs.

Update: Had to do some heavy trimming, manhandling, & some JB Weld (unfortunately) but I got them to fit. Just bought the wrong pair but didn’t feel like waiting for another pair to arrive. Light output is great.

The dual color fog lamp is a great and simple way to maximize visibility based on conditions. the white is great for clear driving and the 2700 K. yellow works better in dense fog, snow and heavy rain.

changing color is as easy as turning the factory switch on, off, on.
